first note, even though i have not posted anything re: the first two episodes, I will say that i currently like the show. I am fully treating this show as three shows packed up in one show. that being said, I am sick and gosh darn tired of this fucking trope (?) where you can be mean to someone as a way of "flirting" with the other person. I mean even po and sand were all like "if I didnt know any better i'd think hes flirting with you" like maybe its just difference in cultures but if a friend came up to me and talked about someone in the way that Arm was talking about Arc in the first two episodes i would stongly encourage that friend to stay the fuck away from that person, like why are we making it okay again to bully people as a way of flirting with them (i guess you could argue that in this case its less bullying and more like teasing (which whatever) but my point still stands, i wish that shows would do this trope less or at the very least have some genuine consequences to this bad behaviour. and NO getting Arm hurt in the car accident is not a consequence to Arc for his bad behaviour, like sure he felt guilty about it but obviously Arm had no grudges held against him for that (i'm talking i want genuine serious like… idk how to put it. and this show may not be the best example ( again, maybe this is more teasing than it is bullying) but if someone treated me as bad as some main characters treat their love interest they would not be getting a chance from me (to which you might argue, "well if you like that person before then even if theyre mean to you they would get a chance" but thats often not the case in these shows, like main character 1 is mean for no fucking reason and main character 2 is like i hate you…. wait a minute I LOVE YOU!!! and there is no real consequence to main character 1s actions, they have no real reason to change)) but anyway thats neither here nor their as i am currently liking this show but given the time that the show is taking place (2 main couples are already established) i am wondering i… idk i forgot what i was gonna say

Since starting dating, she’s started to really come out of her shell! She speaks up more boldly in group conversations, she’s not afraid to start tickle fights she still loses tho, & she even tries out for the next musical!

I wanna say Ruth worked up the nerve to ask Peter to ask Richie out for her on April Fools so she could still try & play it off like it was a joke. But Richie just shrugged like “yeah, sure” because he thought it really WAS a prank & he wanted to call her bluff lmao

But Peter gives him a serious look like “I’ll kick your ass if you make her cry” & Richie realizes he’s serious, which means Ruth was serious. & now he’s hit with a flood of thoughts like “oh shit do I actually like Ruth? Investigate” & realizes, yeah, he really does like her

Idia would be Rapunzel and Vil would be Flynn Rider. I wanna include the Ortho somewhere, so he would be Pascal (the chameleon) and Rook & Epel can be Maximus (the horse)(yes I'm separating the horse into two characters, Epel deserves to be present as well)

Crowley could be Mother Gothel it doesn't make sense but I can't think of anyone else. Those bandit brothers can be either Ace and Deuce or Leona and Ruggie idk.

I think this would just be a very funny au, them just going through the plot and some key differences. Like Vil's motivation as a thief, I don't think he would be stealing for money, maybe he can be a beauty thief and steals for the glamor or something.

I’m kind of thinking who would be a good Mother Gothel. It would have to be someone that wants to take advantage of Idia’s cursed (or I guess blessed in this?) hair. Crowley could be a default option. I guess that would make STYX Idia’s kingdom? That part fits really well.

Ortho could be a good Pascal! Maybe instead of being his humanoid form, he could be one of the Cerberus robots just with sentience! That way he’s more of an animal companion.

Rook and Epel is actually genius for Maximus but. I. I just imagined them in one of those two parter horse Halloween costumes. Epel is the butt Rook is the head.

But! It would be really cool if Epel and Rook were also a snuggly duckling parallel too? Like maybe Rook is Maximus since he kind of has the same energy of ‘proper, but not afraid to get his hand (or hooves??) dirty’. Meanwhile Epel has the outer cuteness inner toughness even more inner cuteness vibe of the Snuggly Duckling group.

This is actually a really good batch when you aren’t looking at it while absolutely devastated!

Dubidubiwhateveritscalled: ok I know this is a silly stupid kids map and people are mad about it being a “troll map” but,,,, I’m kind of digging it. It looks really fun! I’ve heard the song on tiktok and it’s kind of reminding me of Crazy Frog (do the kids these days know Crazy Frog?? Am I old??). The coach is a little scary but could be a lot worse and the background is cute! And the choreo just looks fun! Ngl I’m really excited to play this map if I actually get the game, it just looks like a really fun easy map!

Padam Padam: Yessssss! Cool coach, SUPER cool background, the camera angles, and the VIBES. The choreo is really funky too, it’s so fun to watch! I feel like I’ll get frustrated trying to do it cuz anything that’s not super easy drives me a little crazy at first but if I can follow along I think I’ll really like doing it

In Your Eyes: Okay. Gonna try not to talk about the dad implications because we already know how I feel about that. So other than that! Really cool map! I know Cygnus only changed his haircut but I’m liking him even more in this one for some reason? I doubt I’d ever get around to it but I lowkey wanna cosplay him. He looks SO cool in this map. And BABY MIHALY!!! OH MY GOD THEYRE SO CUTE!!!! Also I’m sure people have already headcanoned them having some kind of sensory issues that make them wear their earbuds a lot, and that’s all I can think about with them chilling in the corner with their little headphones. Adopting that headcanon now. Can I adopt baby Mihaly along with it. Someone get that poor tiny baby off the streets

Pink Venom Extreme: Yeah it’s cool. Cool background and cool coach but it’s the same as the main map so I really don’t have much else to say about it? I’m not usually a fan of the kpop extremes just cuz they’re hard. It looks really cool tho

My Heart Will Go On: ICONIC. Am I gonna play this more than once? Probably not. Am I glad it’s in just dance? ABSOLUTELY. This map is so silly but it’s peak “silly times with your friends playing just dance in grade school” and that’s so important. I’m glad today’s children will have the proper just dance experience to look back on. The whole setup of it being two people just being super extra at beach kareoke is great. This map is so stupid and I mean that as a compliment. Only big downside is I thought the guys mustache was his lip when I first watched it and I was so confused and kinda scared.
