I really like how Donnie and Mikey having the shortest mask tails makes so much sense in regard to them being an inventor and an artist/cook respectively. If their mask tails were longer, it could be dangerous and/or get in the way of what they were trying to do.

Meanwhile Raph is large enough that his longer mask tails wouldn’t be easily used against him in fighting or sparring, plus the longer tails definitely make for a more standard hero/ninja look which would make him lean into it more.

Leo likes long mask tails because he can flip them.

hey so many people probably haven't seen the post where i said i made pest (regretevator) into a pressure character, but i still want to share the design i made for them (still partially a wip though!)

here him is.. i have more recent design of him (that fortunately) has clothes lol but 1. i don't have access to the pictures right now 2. i wanted to change his body a bit (instead of the turret/gun being attached to his arm, it is his arm..) like i said though, this is a wip still! once i get a finalized drawing down, ill make a seperate post on that ^_^!

if anyone is interested, i can try and type out some wip lore and things like that!

October Trick or Treat #1: Caraxes's POV of hatchlings

The prompt was "Caraxes's POV of growing fond of hatchlings," but the fill ended up being "Caraxes's early POV of the boys and hatchlings." Maybe there will be a sequel at some point of the original prompt!

I had a blast figuring out how I wanted to write dragon POV, so I'm glad this prompt gave me the chance to explore it.

They are egg-fresh, Daemon’s scaled hatchlings, and they still stink of fire mountain and blood. They are nothing like the little ones of the red rock cave, or the salt-damp fire of Syrax’s clutch. They burn his eyes and tickle his nose.

The blood stink is like the deep black, like tired Balerion. It is like the silence without Daemon.

They do not know their stink, and Daemon’s dark hatchling wraps one in his pelt to mask it, so that it is cold iron blood instead. It helps when he carries Daemon and the dark hatchling in search of the light one, the thunder rain meadow.

They fly over river and grass, but they will not find him there. Caraxes had smelled the iron and thunder from afar in the long search before, Daemon but away, familiar and strange. Kin.

But the thunder is quenched, the rain drowned, and the meadow buried. Only the soft-skinned can do such.

The dark hatchling’s dark hatchling cries for fire mountain and blood, keening its confusion, and the larger hatchling smells of pain and fear. Twin-lost twins, parted from their clutchmates. Daemon burns, everburning, as he has for all the long flight, as he always does. Pain-fear-love-sorrow always bright, always sharp.

Daemon burns like a dragon. He is the most dragon of the riders, Caraxes has always told the others. Enemies are to be burned, kin are to be loved, and all is fire.

(Except on the place of wet stone and metal meat, which smothered the fire to embers, stoked only by wind and flight. Caraxes learned to fear the iron branches, to watch and guard when Daemon would not.)

He lands at last, and Daemon’s flame is fluttering fear-fast. The dark scaled hatchling cries again, scenting its blood stink, but the other hatchling does not understand. Caraxes lets himself rest. They will learn. It takes new riders time, especially when they are only hatchlings themselves.

They will find the light hatchling and the blue, and perhaps Daemon will introduce his new clutch properly at last.

For some reason I imagine Hunted and Witch would be initially uneasy around each other but eventually warm up and become friends.

Hunted can see that Witch is guarded because of experiences with betrayal, and Witch can see that Hunted is hypervigilant because of experiences with being treated like prey.

They're still initially at a standoff, but end up slowly but surely warming up to each other. They open up about their issues and slowly overcome them.

Idk I think this would be sweet.

Also they'd both totally sniff each other to see if they can smell legit hostility lmao

i’m one of those people that wholeheartedly believes genesis is a total whore and wears slutty things all the time BUT IN CANON HE DRESSES LIKE THIS

EVEN ANGEAL AND ZACK, IN THE STANDARD SOLDIER UNIFORMS, SHOW MORE SKIN THAN GENESIS! WHEN WILL WE AS A COLLECTIVE START GIVING THEM THE SLUT TREATMENT TOO?! even tseng at least shows his wrists and has those tiny cutouts in his gloves! i think genesis is literally the character that shows the absolute LEAST amount of skin in this whole series! (dont quote me on that, i could be wrong)

question for those who have watched ror, how long would you say the song in betweens are? like how long does it take to get from one song to the next? since its a shorter movie i assume like-at most 15-20 minutes between songs???
