One of my favorite comic series I made for SMITE: Thoth and Horus. I wonder if I’ll ever make another. These were years apart, so I’m not going to categorize this post.

hello my sweets! first happy holidays to you all. i hope you spent them with people you love! the holidays tend to be the most emotional time and i hope we are all going through it with our heads held high!!

some announcements: due to work and the holidays, i haven’t been getting a lot of stuff done, but between google doc, my tablet and phone, we have roughly ten pages of notes which is crazy ngl! coding has been a b-word so we’re going to do that in the new years and continue to write the prologue and the first chapter

thank you for being so patient and kind through this. i hope i can get the prologue out asap and give you something fun. as a treat, here’s some rough dialogue between the mc and H:

“We should not be doing this.” They commented, looking over their shoulder. Even with their stiff and ready posture, the nervousness doesn’t go unknown to you.

You looked at them, and they looked at you. You rolled your lips together slowly, taking in their words. They were right, you shouldn’t be doing this. Sneaking around would and has gotten you in trouble, and the lecture you’d receive from your parents never seemed ideal, but that’s for your issues in the future. This was now.

As if they were reading your thoughts, they sighed. They looked up, almost as if they were praying to God about what they were getting themselves into. “I cannot talk you out of this, can I?” They asked you.

“After years of knowing each other, I know you can answer that question.” You said with a smile. You tugged on the sleeve of H’s waistcoat. “And do not worry, you won’t get in trouble. I will say it’s my idea.”

Shurimon is Adjustment (Justice)

Hawkmon digivolves into Shurimon to defeat Digitamamon, who is extorting the Digidestined for free labor. After freeing Digitamamon from the ‘dark ring’ controlling him, all debts between the conflicting parties were settled and forgiven. Genuinely one of the most overt visual tributes to the Thoth Tarot’s Adjustment card I’ve come across. Shurimon wears the same cape as the figure in the card, which is also entirely green in the traditional Rider Waite Tarot. The chains on the scales have been translated into Shurimon’s spring-like appendages, and while he isn’t balancing on the tip of a sword like the figure on the card, he does grip bladed shuriken with his feet. The mask has been inverted, now covering his whole face instead of just his eyes, yet maintains the same aesthetic form. The look is completed with Hawkmon’s feather matching the giant feathered headdress featured in the card.

found out about these two games called "140" and "THOTH" [linked to trailers on YouTube] and like. out of any games i should pause development for, i should probably snag these games and play them because

game i'm making is minimalist and audiovisual 140 and THOTH are minimalist and music driven/audiovisual (respectively)
