I had a dream about the filming of Good Omens s3 where they recorded all of David and Michael’s individual scenes first, and only allowed them to see each other on set once they filmed Crowley and Aziraphale’s reunion.

pairing: 14th doctor x reader & 10th doctor x reader
rating: E
notes: no gender or age given for reader, just that you last saw the doctor fifteen years ago. thank you to @mcganns for being my beta!!
This too shall pass.
It was a sentiment that you had to cling onto when he left, because fuck knows it was the most painful thing you’d ever felt. And you’d run away from actual explosions before. Big ones, in space! Supernovas which could eat entire planets while you hung onto the side of a little blue box.
And yet none of it even begins to compare to when he fucking left you.
He said it wouldn’t be forever. Well, he shouted it at you as you fell out of the TARDIS. There was a time explosion, and you got rocketed back to your little flat in the middle of Hackney, on Earth only a few days from when he’d picked you up — but in your reality months of adventure had passed.
You’d not really settled back in, certain that he was going to come and rescue you. But then days turned into weeks into months and you finally accepted that the Doctor had abandoned you.
So you went back to it all. Your mundane little existence before a mad, brilliant man had whisked you away. Your boss was a bit miffed that you’d gone AWOL but you were their best employee so they couldn’t afford to let you go, all you got was a slap on the wrist and a command not to let it happen again. The people you loved didn’t really seem to notice your absence that much, which stung; you couldn’t blame them though. You’d probably not miss you much either.
The Doctor. He made you feel special in a way nobody had before. Like you were the centre of a whole, giant, fantastic universe, and he adored you for it.
Still.
No point mulling that over again, is there?
Fifteen years. Things did get better. You moved on eventually. But you still find your thoughts drifting back to him every once in a while, and that fragment of time you spent totally utterly in love with each other. When you think about the way he kissed you, without realising it you end up touching your lips.
No. No. Stop.
The singing of the kettle snaps you back into reality, and you pour yourself a hot cuppa. Ah, tea. The antidote to everything. You go to turn the radio on for some company as you shift into your morning routine when you hear a knock at the door.
Probably the postie. He’s a bit early today, you think, but make no more of it as you undo the latch and open the door.
Your heart stops.
Because there he is, of course.
Older. Weathered. Not the young man you once knew but a grownup version of him, as exhausted by life as you are.
You drop your mug. Quick as a flash the Doctor grabs it out of midair. The tea sloshes onto the floor but at least nothing gets shattered.
He goes to look up at you, but his attention is drawn back to his hand.
“I bought you this mug years ago,” he says, utterly amazed.
You shut the door in his face.
Well, you try to, anyway. But he sticks a foot in between the door and the frame, with one of those stupid Converse he always wears.
“I know you’re angry, I know. But please let me come in.”
It’s such an absurd statement you find yourself laughing, a high and desperate noise.
“Absolutely not!” Actually, no. That’s not enough. “How dare you. Why are you even here?!”
“Because I wanted— I needed to see you.”
You still want to slam the door on him, but there’s a desperation to his voice that gives you pause. And when he looks at you with those sad, puppy-dog eyes? Those eyes as lined with age as you are?
Fuck. You’re so weak.
So that’s how you find the Doctor sitting at your kitchen table with a cup of tea in front of him. You lean against the counter, defences still up, eyeing him from over the top of your mug. He drums his fingers against the tablecloth.
“I like your house. Your calendar is nice, I enjoy the kitten motif.”
“Don’t,” you spit, slamming the mug down and sloshing tea onto the floor, don’t you dare. You don’t get to waltz back here and start telling me ‘oh, I enjoy your furnishings, haven’t you made a nice little life for yourself since I abandoned you!’ I let you in to speak your piece, though god knows why. Say it and be done.”
The Doctor looks deflated. His shoulders sag, mouth falls. You take a moment to properly look at him. He seems… tired. Tired in a way you never knew him to be when you went on your adventures. Part of you wants to offer comfort, but the other part of you wants to withhold it maliciously. Anything to make him feel the way you felt.
“I looked for you,” is what he settles on, heavily. You didn’t expect that, and it knocks you.
“What?”
“I did. After the explosion, I tried searching all over the galaxy for you. I didn’t know where - when - you’d ended up. I scanned and scanned but something stopped you from appearing on the TARDIS’s sensors. I think… the amount of artron energy emitted during the blast somehow cloaked you.”
You say nothing, your silence an invitation for him to continue his explanation.
“It took years. Literal years, for me. Every spare moment I had, I dedicated to looking for you. Head buried in the circuitry of the TARDIS, trying to fix whatever was hiding you, gave myself a couple of nasty shocks too. And, when I finally tracked you down, I’d regenerated.”
You blink. Right. Yes. He’d explained that, but you’d never seen it with your own eyes. The same person, a different face.
“I didn’t know if you’d want to see me if I didn’t look like me. But I had to try anyway, didn’t I? So I came here. To your house. I got myself all ready for it, knocked on your door… and found that you were married.”
Your fingers grip the counter.
“Oh.”
“He seemed nice. Loved you a lot, as you deserved. And I couldn’t tell you I was back, could I? I saw you pottering around in the kitchen, making the tea - you were always the best at making tea - and you were happy. How could I ask you to leave that all, uproot the life you’d made for yourself, just to jump back in the TARDIS with me? How could I be so cruel? I couldn’t, could I. So I left again. Tried to move on. Like you did.”
You’re crying now. You can feel hot tears slide down your face and soak into your jumper.
“Oh, Doctor,” you manage. You want to tell him so much. It feels like it might burst out of you. But instead you settle on:
“Why now?”
He smiles thinly.
“Because somehow I got this face back, and I wanted to see you. I wanted to be selfish for once.”
You find yourself at the table, on the wonky chair opposite him, sliding your hand over to cover his. It’s rough and warm. Just like you remember. He says your name with reverence, but like it pains him.
“I never stopped loving you. Ever. Through it all, every adventure, I knew it wasn’t complete because you weren’t there. It just wasn’t the same without wonderful, brilliant you,” he admits. He sounds defeated. It breaks your heart — or, actually, it might just put it back together again.
A beat passes. His confession lingers in the air, heavy, thick and choking like smoke from an untameable fire.
“His name was Simon. He was a baker. He was lovely, actually… and we got divorced two years ago.”
The Doctor’s brow furrows.
“You… what… why?”
“Because he knew there was someone else I never really let go of. Someone else who, despite everything, I still loved.”
He looks you in the eyes, and you see something glimmer there that you long since gave up on.
Hope.
And then, suddenly, you’re kissing.
It’s like nothing has changed. His lips are still rough and searching on yours, a hint of tongue giving away into more the deeper you entangle. He sits you up on the table and steps into the space left by your spread legs, and between each kiss he says your name. It’s full of adoration but lined with desperation, too.
Like the kisses he gave you the first night you laid together, on a bed in his spaceship floating across the galaxy. When he buried himself inside you and you felt his two hearts beat in rhythm with your own.
“Doctor…” you manage.
Fuck. You need him. You didn’t realise how badly you needed him. You didn’t realise a piece of your soul has been missing this whole time, fucking torn out of you and leaving a jagged hole in its wake. And him, back, telling you he loves you and always has? You’re patched together like kintsugi.
Your Doctor is the molten gold you need.
“Please. I need to…” he’s so desperate he can barely get the words out, but you nod; he’s undoing the belt buckle of your jeans and pulling them off like they’re silk. When his thin waist meets yours you cross your ankles behind him and lock him into place, and his hands - a little fumbling, a little nervous to be mapping out the plain of you again - begin to trace your chest. You lean into his touch to let him know yes. This is okay. I want this. Make me whole again.
His warm, rough palms slide under the hem of your shirt and lift it easily over your head, the only break in a while you take from your kiss. You let yourself grab his tie to bring him closer. He’s fully dressed still and you’re almost naked; you remember how he used to like that, enjoy feeling a bit more put together than you. Cheeky blighter. Still though, as his suit scratches your skin, you can’t say you don’t agree.
However. In this instance he has far too many clothes.
You tug at his jacket and he knows what you need, letting it fall to the floor with his tie and waistcoat following it. He ruts against you as he unbuttons his shirt a bit, not the whole way, but just enough for you to feel the warmth of his chest. He’s so skinny. You’ve always been a bit worried that, on one of your rougher days, you might snap him in half. You still are now, actually.
Cupping his face in your hands you let your thumbs caress his cheekbones. Your Doctor. Older but the same. Just like you.
You can feel him more than half-hard against your leg. No more time wasting. You need him. You need him, you need him, you need him.
It doesn’t take long to undo his fly and have him in your hand. You’ll always be glad he chose this human anatomy. Though you’d love him no matter how he looks, there’s something wonderful about his cock as it is here. He lets his head fall forward onto your shoulder with a moan if your name.
“Oh… you’re…”
“Mmm hmm,” you agree, a genuine smile passing your face for the first time in god knows how long. He’s just the right length and on the thick side, and you know what a delicious stretch he is when he pushes inside of you. You can’t wait to feel it again. A couple of pumps and he’s ready, dripping precome and a ruddy red. Another time you’d bend down and taste him, remind yourself what a Time Lord’s cock is like. But now today. Well, not now.
You lay back, readjusting yourself so he can push your underwear to the side and find your entrance. A couple of fingers - those long, delicate, clever and cunning fingers - press inside you and test you out. You’re ready for him. He makes a choked noise in the back of his throat as he realises and you laugh, properly, throwing your head back.
“Come on, Doctor. Show me that you’ve missed me.”
He used to never shut up. And now he’s stunned into a desperate silence, lining up with you and pushing in as he does his best to make you feel what he’s been feeling too.
A loneliness is fixed. He slides home inside you and your hips meet, the both of you letting out a long and ragged breath. You sit there for a moment, locked in the most intimate embrace, and just feel each other. You fist your hands in his shirt. He’s here. He’s real. You feel him trace his palm up your back as if you assure himself of the same thing.
Slowly he begins to move. It is a long and lovely drag, his cock hitting all the points you missed being touched, and when he feels you gasp he goes harder. The Doctor nuzzles into the skin of your neck, nestling to the warmth of you there, and you hear him repeat a mantra both of your name and “I love you”.
Over and over. As if the two phrases are inextricably linked.
You’re so full. You’re so light. Everything feels perfect in this moment. And when he reaches between your bodies to touch your sex, push you to the edge, you know you’ll climax for him embarrassingly fast.
When you come you see stars light up behind your eyes. The sky, the unfiltered and untamed sky takes you over. The Doctor says your name one final fine and releases inside you, his hips riding it out as if to savour every second in the sweet grip of you.
He can’t look at your face when he asks you. He says it from the safety of your shoulder where his face is buried, because if you say no you know his heart will shatter.
“Come with me, in the TARDIS again. I know I shouldn’t ask you to leave your home but… you complete me, you know. Always have.”
“Leave my home?! Doctor, don’t be daft. This is just a house in bloody Hackney. You’re my home.”
You pull back to meet his gaze. He’s tired, but bright. His eyes twinkle. And there’s the Doctor you know.
“And of course,” you continue. And, as the smile engulfs his face and he lights up, “it’s not like I’m doing anything else, am I?”
This time, when you go AWOL from your job, you never come back.

Rage, Rage (Against the Dying of the Light) | 10th
a n g s t.
The first time you ask him, he doesn’t answer. He sweeps you away with his charms and promises about galaxies and universes untold that so little humans get to experience for themselves.
You let it slide. Just this once. You’re intrigued enough by his eyes, those eyes that cause you to ask one singular question that will plague you the rest of time you travel with him:
What happened to you?
The second time you ask him, he gets angry. Rage is built into the very foundation of who The Doctor is as a person. It doesn’t matter that he’s Timelord. He still experiences the same kind of anger that humans do.
His, however, stems from his own choices. His own actions that caused the genocide of a people that this universe will never experience again.
Given what little he’s told you, you’re fine with that. You’re better off without the Timelords. Without the Timelords and the trauma they’ve obviously caused this man.
“What happened to you?”
You ask it in hushed tones, careful not to provoke a reaction. You do anyway. You don’t even flinch when he yells. When he asks why it’s any of your business to begin with. It’s quite rare to see him unravel.
You wonder what would happen if you unraveled him entirely.
“Why does it matter!?”
And oh, how sad your gaze must look. “Because you matter, Doctor. You’ve always mattered. Especially to me. I think you get so stuck inside your own head that you often forget that.”
You leave him to the solitude of his console room after that. It takes him a week before he’s confident enough to approach you again.
The shattering of broken things still echoes even then.
***
The third time you ask it, he answers. It is only in the wake of the TARDIS forcing you into the empty hallways that you trudge forward and right into the doorway of his bedroom.
You had just slipped into sleep yourself. After a long week of contemplation and thorough detail - which mostly consisted of you writing and writing and writing as much as possible - of your adventures with him, you were seriously considering leaving.
You can’t help people who don’t want to be helped.
“Little love?” You call out weakly to the TARDIS, who warbles at your response as you stand idly in the doorway of the Doctor’s dimly lit bedroom. “Why did you bring me here?”
Your question is answered by the ragged sound of the Doctor's breathing. You can barely see him in the light of the bedroom - his bedroom - but it would be dificult to miss that gasping, wet sound of his breathing he's trying to get back under control.
The question whispers itself again in your ear as you approach: What happened to you?
He flinches as if he has been burned the moment your hand makes contact with the nape of his neck. It takes The Doctor a moment to realize who has entered his bedroom, and his entire being melts at the realization it is simply you sitting beside him. It's the first time he's seen you in a week. He deserves your scorn. Your wrath.
Instead you ask again, in hushed tones, "What happened to you, Doctor?"
And this time, he tells you. He allows himself to succumb to the weakness of desiring another persons touch and leans into your arms as you hold him until the tears abate.
"There was a war. The last great Time War.."
The Doctor does not need to know that you had intended on leaving. He does not need to know the way your heart harbors such fear of him, but such sorrow for him, and he surely does not need to know how you see right through him.
All he needs to know for now is that you are there.
And it will be enough.
***
The fourth time it is asked, it is him who asks you. You have your bag packed and slung over your shoulder where you stand in the doorway of the TARDIS. Enough had been enough. You would not be second choice, and you certainly would not allow him to use you as his emotional crutch.
Even if he didn't intend to.
The Doctor swallows the knot in his throat and opens his mouth to ask, "What happened to you?"
The look you give him sends chills down his spine. That is not a look any of his companions have given him. You love him, sure, but you will not allow that to be the reason you suffer through this any more. The look you are giving him is one of pure ice.
And it is that ice that further moves to encroach itself upon his heart. As is always the way when he travels alone. He may burn at the center of the universe and humanity may always see him as a God, but even Gods are cruel.
The Doctor may be the cruelest you've ever known.
With one final glance at him, you reply, "You did." before walking out of the TARDIS for the final time. The dying light outside casts shadows on the walkway of the TARDIS as he watches your departure, and he is once again alone.
#this would not leave me alone so here you go!#have some ten pain! :)#also some personal thingies since i've been working as a therapist :D#tenth doctor x reader#doctor who x reader#doctor who oneshots#doctor who imagines

Midnight Dances (10th Doctor x Gn! Reader)
Midnight Dances (10th doctor x gn! reader)
Word count - 1753
Warnings - tons of fluff with angst sprinkled in
Pairing(s) - 10th doctor x Gn! Reader
Summary - You show The Doctor a few new moves
Never travel alone. That was the one piece of advice The Doctor always seemed to get. But, no matter how hard he tried he always lost everyone. Some would call him a hero, others a villain. He would call himself a lost cause, a soul floating alone in the wide universe desperate for a friend.
He never viewed his past companions in a negative light. For him, they sparkled like diamonds in the Gallifrey suns. Only to be tarnished by the sadness that seemed to wash over him if he sat and thought about them for too long.
Especially Rose, always Rose. She was one of the special ones. The one that saw him for who he truly was and still choose to stay and even love him. Gods did he truly love her. She was everything to him, and that’s why it pained him so badly to say goodbye and that's why he’d never let something like that happen again. At least not if he could help it.
The Doctor needed a break, he needed to go somewhere where he wasn’t a walking hazard to everyone around him. Where ever he went trouble always seemed to follow, and he wanted to desperately avoid that this time. He wanted to live up to his name this time around and actually do some good (at least good in his eyes).
So, he sent the Tardis to 14th-century England. The good old renaissance period! He wasn’t exactly sure what he was expecting when it came to showing up in this period. If anything he’d just walk around watching the humans as they were a little more native during this period, and maybe even eat one of those big turkey legs. He always wondered how humans were able to simply eat a turkeys leg that big. But, that's humans for you - always finding new ways to eat things.
With a small hum, he parked the Tardis in a discreet corner and trudged around the town square. A tiny shadow of a smile began to tug at his lips as he let his eyes wander around the town. The hustle and bustle of it all warmed his heart. Slowly but surely he spun around trying to get the full effect of everything that was happening around him.
Sudden music lit up the town as he walked deeper into the heart of the square and everyone seemed to happily join in on the fun. Respectfully he kept his distance from it all. He wanted to watch for now instead of interrupt things. However, that plan was practically destroyed when he saw you.
You were in the center of what looked like to be a dance circle. Spinning, dancing, and clapping to your heart's content. The Doctor felt both his hearts melt at the same time and knew he was truly in for it now.
Without even realizing it he began to walk closer to the action, or if he was being truthful- closer to you. You were like the warmest bit of sunshine the universe had to offer, and he was freezing to death. The simple sight of you was enough to grip him by his wacky tie and pull him deep down for a wild ride he had no idea he signed up for.
Whilst you were dancing you couldn’t help the smile that graced your features. You weren’t relatively sought after on any other normal day. Being the daughter of the village's flower seller didn’t come with any amazing dowry. However, when you danced during the festival heads turned. You secretly adored the attention, any person surely would.
However, this night was different and you couldn’t put your finger quite on why. Until you saw him. The tall handsome stranger that seemed to only have eyes for you. He wore the strangest clothes you had ever seen. But, they seemed to fit him rather well. Your eyes mainly wanted to focus on his deep brown chocolate eyes and the messiest hair you’d ever seen.
As he seemed to get closer and closer to you, you reached out your hand silently asking for a dance. The whole world seemed to stop as he slowly glanced down at your hand and then back up to your eyes. His right eyebrow rose up almost to ask if you truly meant it. To this, you nodded and noticed the sweetest gentle smile that rose to his lips upon seeing this.
Even The Doctor, the oncoming storm, couldn’t deny nor fight the spark that rose within him when he finally took your hand in his. Excitedly, you practically dragged him into the center and let the music move your feet. Both of The Doctor’s heart’s raced against his chest as you lead him in a semi-traditional dance. His eyes were glued to your feet desperately trying to save you from the pain of him accidentally stepping on you.
You, however, would not settle for this. Gently you stopped and took his chin in your fingers lifting his head up to meet yours again. With the warmest smile on your face you took one of his hands and guided it to your waist, and helped the other up with your hand. Lacing his fingers with yours, which seemed to make the entire universe halt to a standstill.
“Ready?” He said taking the biggest breath his lungs could manage.
“Always,” you replied with an eager grin on your face.
“Well in that case,” he paused for dramatic effect (time lords were drama kings but you knew this already) “, ALLONS-Y!” He cheered along with the crowd.
This was when he truly let loose, showing you exactly what he was made of. Each giggle that escaped your lips only pushed him further as he skipped with you throughout the dance circle. Lifting you high into the air, you practically felt like you were flying. When he did bring you back to earth, you could feel yourself slowly fall in love. You two spun and twirled, and he even managed a few dips in there.
“And here I thought you weren't a dancer!” You giggled as he spun you in a lift, that giggle being music to his ears.
“Well, you know what they say…. You have dancing shoes with nimble shoes. I have a soul of lead.” he spoke fast trying to brush over the fact that what he said hit too close to home, and that he just ripped off a future playwright.
The evening seemed to fly by with the brightest colors. You and The Doctor were stuck to each other like paper and glue, and neither of you wanted to leave the other's sight. You showed him everything your small English town had to offer, and he even got to impress you by buying you whatever you wanted from the local vendors.
“Wait so you’re saying you’ve never had a turkey leg?” You over dramatically gasped as you stared at him with wide eyes. In which he swore he could see stars.
“Yep!” he said popping the ‘p’ “What is that so hard to believe?” He raised an eyebrow trying to keep a serious expression. But, that was proven impossible by what happened next.
You shoved a turkey leg into his hands as you looked up expectantly. “Yes it is, try it!” You sassed not leaving him any room to question you. Well here went nothing. The things people (and timelords) did when falling in love right? Closing his eyes he bit into it, and surprisingly it wasn’t…the worst. In fact, it was far from it. “Oh my goodness this is brilliant! What legs will you humans think of eating next?” he chuckled shaking his head as he prepared himself for another bite.
There you stood utterly bewildered by the fact that this man in front of you could look at life with as much excitement and joy as you did. But, perhaps that’s because he called you lot humans instead something…..normal. Which, should have worried you more than it did. Maybe all you needed was a man from the stars to truly understand you, to whisk you away to far-off places, and help you never return again. But, that was just wishful thinking.
As the night came to a close you couldn’t help but feel a bit sad at the fact that you might never see this handsome stranger ever again. But, perhaps that’s all you were ever meant to be. Just two passing ships in the night.
You two walked aimlessly back to the center of town where it all began, and The Doctor paused for a brief moment. Thinking that what he was going to say next he might regret in the future, but he had to let his hearts try. At least one last time.
“So, listen tonight was great…fantastic even and I was-”
“Doctor listen if you’re trying to let me down easy, just tell me I’m used to it by now.” you cut him off nervously and his eyes widened.
“What no! I was wondering if you’d like to come back to my erm…box I’d love to show you something.” Once that sentence left his lips he inwardly cringed, that never EVER came out right.
Your face scrunched up hearing this “Show me something….in your box?” you asked awkwardly. So, he was crazy. Leave it to you to fall in love with the crazy visitor.
“It’s about as weird as it sounds, but trust me it’ll blow-oh just come with me.” he huffed taking your hand in his once more and tugging you towards his Tardis.
Jokingly, you rolled your eyes finding it hard to keep up with him at times. “Well, Allons-y then.” you teased repeating him from earlier that night.
Upon seeing the strange blue box your suspicions were only raised. At least he wasn’t lying about the box part. Your eyes flicked back and forth between The Doctor and the box. A soft grin lay on his face as he opened the door.
“Please you first,” he said holding the door wide open for you.
Sighing, you swallowed your courage and walked into The Doctor’s box not even slightly prepared for what you were about to see.
Your eyes widened as you danced around the center console room trying to grasp what exactly was happening.
What fell out of your lips was The Doctors absolute favorite part of gaining a new companion. “It’s bigger on the inside!” you gasped.
The Doctor smiled.

10th doctor x reader - made that mistake once
One of the things the doctor couldn’t do was travel back in his own timeline, he couldn’t backtrack in himself no matter how much he wished he could right now.
His hearts broke as he turned around and walked away from you crying and screaming and begging for him to stay, to not leave you behind.
But it was for the best.
That’s what he told himself anyway, to try make this easier, but it wasn’t, it was impossibly be hard for him to do.
Even when he regenerated, becoming a new man, his hearts still ached at the mere through of you, the reminders of you posted all over the place.
Your favourite smell, colour, food, weather.
Everything was a reminder of you.
God how much the doctor wanted to change time, but as he looked at you from across the street smiling from ear to ear with your friends, he knew he made the right choice.
You wouldn’t recognise him in this face, wearing a suit and a trench coat.
No, your doctor was a leather jacket and warm jumpers you would constantly steal when he changed them.
He wouldn’t recognise him, of course your wouldn’t.
It why when he kept bumping into you by ‘accident’ you never spared him a second glance.
But seeing you so happy without him?
That was enough to destroy the doctor, the man who had made whole armies turn around and run away from him, who had walked through fire and floods without a scratch.
This is what broke him the most.
It why he thought he could get away with sitting at the bar you worked at, thinking you wouldn’t think twice when you handed him his drink.
You went back to pouring drinks, but you did briefly glance at him a few times, sometimes leaning against the wall as you cleaned some glasses.
“Thank you.” He smiled.
You nodded your head and watched him get up, he began to make his way towards the door.
“You’ve changed.” You spoke gently.
The doctor froze a little, and he slowly turned around to find you smiling to yourself as you set some glass back where they belonged.
“You suck at this whole staying away think doctor man.”
“Y.. you know…?”
You glanced at your watch.
“Meet me tomorrow, at our spot. I’ll be there around lunch time.”
With that you went back work and he went back to the TARDIS.
He didn’t know what to do.
He didn’t want to drag you into this life again, but he wasn’t sure if he had it in him to walk away from you again.
Either way you’d find him eventually, you always would, when you put your mind to something you could do whatever you wanted to do.
So, he went to your spot, and he sat under the tree as he waited.
“You’ve been following me.”
The doctor jumped a little, and he looked around, then he looked around the tree and you pushed his face away.
“No, stay there.”
“How did you know?” He asked.
You smiled to yourself, resting your head against the bark of the tree, and he did the exact same thing.
“I’d recognise those eyes anywhere doctor, even if they’ve changed to. Behind that soft hue of brown, there’s a spark of intelligence that no one else has, only you. They look at me so softly, so gently, just like the blue ones before.”
The doctor smiled a little more.
“How’d you know id come here?”
“You’ve been following me for weeks, I assumed it would only be time before you came up to me.”
“You always were clever…” he whispered.
You laughed softly, music to his ears.
He’d missed that laugh so much, the laugh that could brighten his day no matter how dark and hopeless it seemed.
“Why did you come back doctor?”
He took a deep breath, and he got up, walked around the tree, he sat in front of you, crossing his legs.
“I wish I could go back in time and change that fact I left you behind. I thought it was right, and then I regenerated, and all that heartache from leaving you stayed..” he whispered.
“You made that choice doctor, not me. I begged for you to stay.”
“I know! I know…”
He took a deep breath and looked up at you with sad brown eyes.
“I should never have walked away… I should’ve walked you home.. I should’ve kissed you a thousand times… told you I loved you again and again… but I.. I’ll live much longer than you, and I wanted you to live a good human life…”
You smiled softly.
“You want to know something doctor?”
He nodded his head.
“I couldn’t care less if you look young while I’m old, I couldn’t care less if I could never stay with you for the rest of your life, wanna know why?”
He nodded again.
“Because I’ll find you in every lifetime. And I’ll love you all the same it’s as simple as that. You can leave me behind, but I won’t move on, you’re the only person I can love.”
“But I can’t give you the life you deserve…”
“You can give me the life I want doctor. I want to travel with you, to be with you. I don’t care if you’re some weird man from mars.”
“I’m.. im not.. we’ve been through this I’m not from mars.”
You grinned a little bit.
“I don’t care what you think doctor, I’m going to sit and wait for you even when I’m old and grey.”
“Why…? Why can’t you have a normal life here…?”
You leant forward, and you looked at him deeply, eyes boring into his so much that all he could do was stare right back.
“Because I love you stupid doctor man.”
“Would you travel with me until you’re old and grey..?”
“I’d travel with you until my dying breath.”
“Let’s not go that far.”
You laughed and the doctor quickly pulled you into his arms, throwing himself back on the grass with you resting on his chest.
He grinned from ear to ear, hearts racing with the pure happiness and love that he was feeling right now.
You smiled, resting a hand on his chest, and you moved yourself off him.
You stood up and he did the same, and he looked down at you, your (E/C) eyes peering up at his brown ones.
You reached up, placing your hand on the side of his face, running your thumb along his skin and he smiled softly, leaning into your touch.
“You’re still just as handsome to me..”
“Well…” he mumbled shyly.
You smiled a little more, knowing only you had that effect on the doctor.
For everyone else he had a huge ego, his ego alone could fuel planets and rockets, but when it came to you, the doctor was a big, blabbering, mumbling, shy mess.
You had that effect on him.
All his charm and charisma all melted away when it came to you, you made him a big puddle of mush, breaking down his walls with ease.
You could make him stutter, look away in embarrassment, make his hearts race like never before, and all you had to do was look at him.
He was madly in love with you, and he knew it.
You moved your hand up to run it through his hair, and then back to his face.
“I’ve always been ever bound to those eyes doctor.. blue… green… grey.. brown… I’d always recognise them. But I do love you with soft brown eyes…”
You leant up, gently ghosting your lips over his before you pulled away.
The doctor was frozen in spot and you grinned a little bit, stepping back with your hands clasped behind your back.
“Your choice love, but either way, I’m only every going to be in love with you.”
With that you began to walk away, and he was quick to snap back out of his mind and he ran after you, his hand slipping into yours and you smiled to yourself.
You looked up at him to find him grinning from ear to ear, and you wrapped your hand around his.
He glanced down at you.
“I’m not making the same mistake twice.” He said

Old Friends (Zosan X Reader) P6
Plot: Reader is the 9th doctors old assistant but soon moved on to other things, joining the straw hat pirates and falling in love but now their paths cross again (only he has a new face, 10th Doctor) when they go to see an old friend in a strange hospital. Unfortunately there's some one else there that wants to start trouble.
One piece and Doctor who cross over (10th doctor), its based off the new earth episode. i thought since David tenant as the doctor is coming back in November it would be good to get this idea out.
Reader is Female (Sorry), Zoro X Sanji X reader, Poly relationship, established relationship.
Warning: Illness, Death, Bad language, Violence and Making out.
P1 - P2 - P3 - P4 - P5 - P7 - P8 - P9 - P10 - P11 - P12 - P13 - P14 - P15
The doctor didn't eat much, but he was happy to talk with Robin who had a good look around while you were all gone "Iv never seen anything so advanced" The black haired woman leans back against the sofa looking at the doctor who's still sitting on the arm of the sofa "Yea this place is massive and most things are voice activated" Usopp joins in sitting next to Luffy on the large windowsill as his Captain looks out at the docks "Its hygienic that way, you can pass viruses through touch and a virus can last up to three days on a surface so taking away the need to touch stuff makes things much cleaner" Chopper rambles while still a little shaky as he sits in between Robin and the Doctor. The reindeer could feel your eyes on him, your face was kind but your eyes threatened him "Are you sure your ok Chopper?" Zoro asks looking over at the little deer who's fiddling with his hands "Oh! i'm fine, don't worry" Chopper laughs rubbing the back of his head. Zoro sighs his arm resting on the back of the sofa behind you and Sanji, his fingers lightly touching Sanji's shoulder. "Usopp, lets go, theres some new cool ships out there" Luffy jumps up grabbing the snipers arm and running off dragging his friend outside and to the parking lot and docks.
With those two gone all Casandra had to do now was get the other four out of her hair, she didn't want them following her or the doctor, they'd just get in the way. Sanji's head was on your shoulder while his hand rested on your leg rubbing it up and down once in a while he would look at you and kiss your neck while Zoro would kiss the side of your head. Of cause, you liked this kind of thing, being smothered by two overly affectionate people. Casandra mentally laughed at it not understanding what you see in the two, their both so different maybe you just wanted a variety "Babe" Zoro grabs your hand getting Casandra to snap out of her thoughts "HU? Sorry" She asks seeing the swordsman chuckle a little "I was calling you" Sanji sighs placing a kiss on your neck before lifting his head off your shoulder "I was asking if you wanted to go back up?" The cook looks you over, maybe your sad or too tired either way he doesn't want to push you, you normally zone out a little when your tired so its not unusual and it has been a long day even though its still the afternoon. Casandra sighs leaning back into the sofa "I'd love to but... i'm exhausted and.. i don't know" Your voice sounds sad so Zoro runs his hand through your hair and kissing your cheek before moving your chin to look at him "You want to take a nap with me baby?" a large smile appears on your face as you lean into him and placing a soft kiss on his lips "That would be nice, I'll see Boa later" Casandra knows this the perfect excuse to get the swordsman out of the way, now she just has to deal with the three others. "Robin, i hate to ask but.. Could you check on Nami for me? I'm worried about her, she didn't seem ok when we first got here"
The black haired woman looks up at you with a smile "Of course, i was planning on heading back at some point anyway, you don't mind if i look over your monster books again do you?" Robin asks pulling the lighter out of her pocket and placing it on the table, Sanji takes it and thanks the woman as she stands "I don't mind at all, thanks Robin" The woman nods patting Choppers head before she leaves "You look tired Chopper, you want to come nap with us?" Casandra asks getting the reindeer's attention "Oh I'll nap here don't worry" Chopper jumps a little leaning into the pillow on the sofa trying to relax even though your eyes are on him. Zoro gives the reindeer a sad look before pulling you into him and leaning on the arm of the chair with you laying in between his legs and your head on his chest. Casandra places your hand on the swordsman's chest, it's been a very long time since she's been held like this and its actually kinda nice. Your body relaxes into Zoro's chest feeling the heat coming off him and hearing his heart beat. "I'm going to head back up" The Doctor sighs standing up, Casandra knows thats not where he's going, but she hopes he would at least wait a little longer. "Ok, I'll see you up there later" She smiles up at him and watches him head out of the canteen, "I'm sorry love i can't take it anymore, i have to go for a smoke" Sanji grips the lighter in his hand looking over at you with tense shoulder "It's ok Love, you've done really well, just don't smoke too many ok?" Your laugh rings out making the cook remember yesterday "I won't love" The cook stand walking over to place a kiss on your lips, Casandra leans up rubbing his cheek with your hand before pulling away, Sanji then leans down and places a kiss on Zoro's lips to lazily kisses back as he starts to fall asleep.
With everyone out of the way or asleep now is the perfect time for Casandra to get away, she lightly moves Zoro's hands off you and gets up placing a pillow where you used to be and placing his hands back down on it. She had to admit it was nice to be shown affection after so long, but she really didn't like the two, even though all the nurses were cat people Sanji still smiles at them and offered a hand if any of them looked like they were struggling while Zoro was just a brute, he didn't talk much, and she can't believe how mad he got over a few stupid swords. She's dated people like them before but only because she could use them to her advantage, men like Sanji would gladly open their wallets for her in exchange for a mare hand hold or glance and Men like Zoro were just arm candy something to be seen with to make people talk more about you or make someone else jealous. Casandra looks over at Chopper who appears to be sleeping, she considered grabbing him and taking him with her, he's a doctor so maybe he could help but on the other hand more people means more trouble. She sneaks off and heads to one of the locker rooms opening locker 16 to find a key card and switch-blade, placing the key card in your cleavage and the switch-blade in your back pocket making sure its covered by the jacket still around your waist she heads out to find the doctor.
Sanji sighs sitting back down on the sofa after having a good smoke, feeling more relaxed, he noticed you weren't there, but he thought you might have gone to get at drink or something. The cook sighs and places his hand on the swordsman's leg as he sleeps watching his steady breathing, Sanji raises an eyebrow at the pillow on Zoro's lap not understanding why its there but doesn't think to much about it. Chopper peeks his eyes open and sits up happy that your finally gone, he wanted to tell Sanji and Zoro what happened, but he's still scared "You ok Chopper?" Zoro's voice makes the reindeer almost jump out of his skin "Urm... i-i need t-t" Sanji gets up and moves over to the other sofa but as soon as he sits down Chopper jumps on him and starts crying "Hay what's wrong?" Zoro asks sitting up only just realizing your missing, but he throws the pillow on him aside and looks over at Chopper "Y/N s-she" The reindeer try's to get out "It's ok, she'll be back soon" The cook sighs rubbing Choppers head only for him to pull away and look up with teary eyed "No, she went after the doctor, she told me not to tell but- but i have too" Zoro stands and walks over sitting next to Sanji and places his hand on the little deer's back "Tell us what happened?" The swordsman doesn't know why you would sneak off with the doctor, if you just told them they would have let you have a privet conversation or whatever, you told them you never had feelings for the doctor in fact when Sanji asked if you had ever kissed him you laughed so hard tears were streaming down your face.
Chopper composes himself and wipes his tears away sitting on Sanji lap but keeping his head down. "When we went looking for her, me and the doctor decided to split up. W-when i found Y/n she was" The reindeer paused for a second to trying and get his fear under control before looking up at the two who are giving him worried looks "She was kissing the Doctor" Both boys jump slightly in shock, Sanji's hand grips his own leg hard, there's no way you would do that "C-chopper, are you sure? Maybe they were just h-hugging" The cook stutters while Zoro's stares at the reindeer in shock "No, she- she was making out with him, like how you guys make out with her" At Choppers words Zoro see's nothing but red biting on his hand as not to yell out in anger while Sanji tears up shaking a little. He can't wrap his head around it, why would you do that, maybe chopper was wrong, maybe he saw some people who just so happened to look like you and the doctor. Chopper looks back down at his hand, he knew it hurt them to know, but he couldn't not tell them "Please don't let her know i told you... she threatened me not to tell" Sanji's and Zoro's head snaps to the reindeer anger welling up inside them "What?" They both ask through gritted teeth, you have never threatened anyone on the crew and you love chopper so why would you do that, its not like you at all. "She said she'd make me into a fur hat and gloves, she pulled on my cheek and wrapped her hand around my mouth, it was really scary but- but i had to tell you two"
Chopper sniffles trying not to cry again but Zoro pulls the reindeer into him hugging the little deer as Sanji runs his hand up and down Choppers back "The hell is wrong with her?" Zoro growls, yes you've been sad but thats no excuse for something like this "I-i, what do we do?" Sanji asks looking up at Zoro, the thought of you cheating and hurting the crew never once crossed his mind, you were loyal and so kind so why did you do this? "I don't care what's going through her head or how she's feeling, there no excuse for this" Zoro growls trying to contain his anger while also trying to sooth his friend and boyfriend. Sanji sighs and hugs the two placing his head on the swordsman's shoulder "You did the right thing Chopper, none of this is your fault" The cook rubs Choppers back who was starting to clam down "Yea, thanks for telling us" Zoro sighs pulling the reindeer away to look him over "Are you hurt?" Sanji asks looking over the little deer "My cheek still hurts but i'm ok" Chopper rubs his cheek only for Zoro's hand to pull his hand away to see, it was a little red under the fur so you did hurt him making his anger get worse "Do you know where she went?" The swordsman asks keeping his jaw clenched as to not yell "I think so, i heard them talking before i rounded the corner about a room on the first floor. i don't think anyone is supposed to go there so it'll be away form all the patient's" Zoro nods putting Chopper down on the sofa before standing along with Sanji "Take me with you" Chopper jumps down clinging onto Zoro leg who sighs, he didn't have time to argue so just agreed the three walking off to try and find you.
The three headed over to a map on the wall only seeing one area that didn't have any doctors offices or patients, so they headed in that direction. "Zo, I know chopper wouldn't lie but, are we sure that's what happened?" Sanji whispers clinging onto the swordsman's arm as they walk down the long white corridors "I don't want to believe it either but Chopper said it was like how we kiss her so... were gonna get to the bottom of this, just stay with me" Zoro grips onto Sanji's arm thats around his not wanting the cook to let go, the blonde nods wiping away a stray tear only for the swordsman's hand run over his cheek "I still love you, i'm not going to leave you no matter what happens" Zoro whispers getting Sanji to smile at him "I love you too, I'll stay with you too" The cook leans over and places a kiss on the swordsman's cheek.
Casandra rushes down the hall only stopping when she see's the doctor standing in front of two metal doors using his sonic screwdriver to try and gain access into the electric key pad. She fixes your top and moves some hair out of your face before walking up behind him "You're going to side line me?" Casandra asks making the Doctor look behind him to see you, he sighs before going back to the lock getting annoyed that its not working "your not my assistant anymore y/n" With a sigh Casandra wraps your arms around the Doctors waist resting her chin on his shoulder, he try's to push you off but your grip is strong "I miss you... i miss our time together" Casandra puts on a fake sad face and voice before being shoved off, the doctor turning to look at you "You have two boyfriends" His angry face makes your eyes roll "That didn't seem to matter when i was kissing you, Tell me you didn't like it." A small smile forms on your face as your hand goes up his chest "You didn't pull away, i did" Your voice whispers in his ear before pushing off him and pulling out the key card from your cleavage "Let me come with you, I'll be like old time" The doctor looks away gritting his teeth, something is very wrong with you but it's been years since he's seen you and a lot can change in that time. "Fine, you can come" The doctor goes to take the Key card from you only for it to be pulled away.
With a small giggle Casandra shakes her head moving around the man and swiping the card making the doors open. The area behind the door is very different no white walls or bright lights just grey metal walls and dim lights. Casandra places the key card back in your cleavage before walking through the doors "Come on lover boy" she calls out turning to see the Doctor put his sonic screwdriver away and walk in with her "See that wasn't so hard" Your smile is wide mainly because the plan is getting back on track. Casandra can now figure out how to make a perfect body and find out what this area is all about. She knows a little about it but not enough to satisfy her plus it's the prefect place to take her sweet revenge on the two that watched her die. She knew that behind this door is where they keep the clones of people, but she's never been able to access it without getting caught, and she didn't trust anyone to pick out a descent body for her. Her servant was made with DNA and tech the cats use to make the clones, but he didn't turn out well but at least she now has a helping hand.

uh 🎵perhaps perhaps perhaps AND I DONT WAN–🎵
yes i do expect martha to get her own dr
side bar: (that being said I WOULD CACKLE ONLY ME I WOULD CACKLE IF ITS DHAWAN DOCTOR THE WHOLE TIME no you dont understand shes got the only one that is so desperate hes essentially just not a bottom but also a touch starved emotionally starved pet BUT THAT ALSO WOULD GROVEL AT THE PANG OF BOTH THE MASTERS ACTIONS TO MARTHA AND HER FAMILY CONSIDERING HIS NAME WAS THE MASTER AND ENSLAVED A BLACK FAMILY AND THE DRS INACTION OF BOTH HIS RENEWED-STUFFED DOWN FEELINGS OF MARTHA AND ALSO HIM STRAIGHT UP JUST 🎵im floatin glowin grandpa joe wheehehehee imma keep him since i left the the other nurse racist back there badoobydoobydoo🎵 AT THE END i just think hes the perfect incarnation to really hit home of how they should be the one to apologize for all of it for fucking up her life during travel AND at home because we see that simms incarnation thrice now is never going to do that just like tennant incarnations will never say i love or loved rose out loud on screen unless its to kick her down. dhawan!dr is perfect stress relief and closure for martha from both timelords in one. does he get reformed? yeah. is he the only one aside from donna14 and (very poorly done) missy? no. but i think it's a great idea. also two sacha dhawans. because there's a dhawan in the master tooth and now a dhawan forever embued in the dr regeneration cycle now. because if he doesnt count 3rd dr doesnt count so fuck you. also both 10 and dhawandr have the big sad brown puppy eyes and side burns and slightly spiked hair (a good inbetween ofhair with 9th and 10th drs) so its very easy for them to go 'oh my god it is you its both of you' when they see both the dr and the master in their eyes. Since uh russel wanted to say that wild shit about how the drs can all co exist in "bi generation" when really they just have a time machine and thats why they co exist because if they all co exist so does dhawan!doctor rtd you goof.)
yes i do expect 15 is also going to force the master into actual therapy as a hardcut to the doctor sitting there while master is airing it all in front either a veteran group a la the punisher group secession or in front of at least three other therapists (im side eying the choices for wink wink nudge actors to play psychiatrists like the last ones they are known for in other shows)
yes i do think the best revenge is martha revealing shes been actually married to romana (either lalla ward reprises her role or we can bring in romana iii aka drusilla from buffy yes this canonical she has doctor who big finish audios as romana) the whole time but only said mickey because it was 1)a fling and 2) strictly friends that he offered because romana's suggestion of him being their surrogate mother terrified him because it CAN work and to piss a dying 10 off and 15 deadass going 'well it worked babes, he was pissed off enough to have him gagged and stumbling' to really shoot [😒those types of😒] tenrose shippers in the heart and head with a lazer
#bw: out of ethos#{aka ✍️🏾how to get martha to peg dhawan!doctor as reparations from both time lords of master and dr in one✍️🏾}#{aka ✍️🏾martha x 15 just telling her ALL of ten's thoughts no filter while 10 is gagged wiggling helpless✍️🏾}#{aka ✍️🏾15martha can makeout on any media but i rather its tv for tv fans even though the refs the dr makes are books comics and audio}

Here is you reminder that cold porcelain clay dries on it's own time and it's ready to demold when it's ready and not before and if you wanted those molds to pour some wax in to too bad so sad because of the rain it's going to take its own sweet time.
But you're welcome to get out other molds so you can use up the cold porcelain and try to remind yourself to never buy any again when all you really wanted was like one of those tiny Sculpey blocks worth because all you wanted was to see if you could get some slightly shrunken positives of the stuff you made molds of.
If anyone wants to come over and make something out of the cold porcelain y'all welcome, I could use the company.
Doll life is realizing that Tobey's eyes needed to be redone a bit after taking pictures of him.
And that the other one is now and forever Evil Tobey.
What he's doing in the 10th Doctor's clothes is another matter.
le sigh
While I find no joy in the collapse of online and crypto banks I look forward to the videos of the shit fits thrown by the tied all their money up in Doge, NFTs, and funky pops and now they have to sell their sports cars and can no longer send $$$ to cam girls. Nothing against cam girls, they're entrepreneurs providing actual services to the world, but you know the types.
You could have bought a real piece of artwork from a living artist and had a physical object to enjoy for your money, something attractive that you enjoy looking at, but nope, you had to buy some ugly digital POS.
I know I have directive avoidance but I also have a bunch of stuff already finished. Was hoping to say buttload but it's not quite that much.
And speaking of funky pops I want to see if I can find a blank one reasonable and make Teddy. I still think they're ugly but I plan to get The Cure, only at retail like I did with the Roberts, and I want him with them.

Chris paced back and forth as he tried to call you for the 10th time. It was the next day, he was sober and the images from last night clouded his brain. Seeing the pain and anger on your face as he said he wish he never married you.
Seeing isabella crying from his disgusting words. That hurt him the most, he regret everything.
The phone went to voicemail again making Chris groan. You had every right to not talk to you, but he wanted to know you and isabella was okay. You were still his wife.
Chris sighed sitting down on the couch. He rubbed his eyes with his palm, exhaling for the hundredth time.
The house phone on the table beside the couch rung causing Chris to quickly grab it. He thought it was you but no, it was your doctor.
"hi is this Mrs Evans?" Chris frowned, "uh no but this is Mr Evans." Chris said, he was deeply confused.
"oh well you tell Mrs Evans that have her next appointment date to check on the baby."
Chris stood up, he wasn't sure he heard right. "I'm sorry, the baby?"
The innocence lady on the other side of the phone phone gasped, "oh I'm sorry, you didn't know."
"no it's fine." Chris sighed softly, his heart picking up speed in his chest. "I'll tell her, thank you." He hung up the phone throwing it onto the couch. "Fuck, fuck, fuck!" He mumbled to himself. He really needed to find you and isabella.
*
You laid in the uncomfortable bed, isabella sleeping soundly beside you. It was around 8 in the morning and thoughts from yesterday filled your mind.
"I wish I never married you"
"Forget isabella, I don't care about her stupid play"
It hurt just knowing he thought those things. It took some time last night, but you managed to go to sleep around 3am. Now it was morning time, you were in a crappy hotel, and Chris was blowing up your phone like crazy.
You sighed pulling back the blanket. You walked to the bathroom. You looked in the mirror, your almost 3 month along bump was showing. You tore your eyes from it looking at your face. You were trying not to think about Chris in that moment.
"get it together y/n." You whispered to yourself.
"mommy." You looked back to the doorway seeing isabella. Her stuff bear was in her hands as she rubbed her sleepy eye with the other hand.
"good morning honey."
You walked over to her, "did you sleep good?" Isabella looked up at you. "Yeah, I slept great." You laughed, "that's great. Uh do you wanna go get some breakfast? We can eat some pancakes and waffles, what you say bug?"
Isabella started to think, it was almost like you can see the wheels turning in her head. "Uhh yeah. Can we see daddy too?"
Your stomach did a flip, you didn't think she'll be okay with what he said about her, but She was 6 so maybe that was the reason.
"umm... Yeah, yeah. We can see daddy." Isabella smiled, "okay, I watch TV now." She walked back over to the bed, hopping in it. You exhaled, running your hands over your face. Here goes nothing you thought to yourself.
*
Chris phone ringing interrupting him from his daze. He picked it up seeing your contact. His heart picked up as he answered it.
"y/n, are you okay?" On the other side of the phone you sighed, "yeah, I'm fine. Look um isabella want see you so can you meet us at the diner at (some street name)?"
Chris nodded even though you couldn't see him. "Yeah, of course." He walked to the foyer to put on his shoes. "Umm, I love you." Chris said. He wasn't expecting you to say it back, but you did. When you did, his heart skipped and a smile formed on his face.
You hung up the phone. You let out a sigh once again. Here goes nothing.
*
You sat in the diner, isabella beside you coloring in the booklet they gave her. You both were waiting for Chris to come.
Your mind was filled, you couldn't even figure out what you were thinking about at all at this point.
After waiting a few more minutes, you heard the diner door open. In walked Chris. In his hands was a bouquet of flowers and stuffed animal. You were guessing it was his apologize.
He walked over to you both, just like yours, his heart was beating pretty hard in his chest.
"hey." Chris smiled shyly at you as you got up. "Hi." You tore your eyes from his, looking down at isabella. She was looking up at her daddy with a soft smile on her face. Chris kneeled down to her height. "Hi baby." He said to her softly. "I'm sorry for yesterday, I didn't mean any of it, I promise. Can you forgive me?"
isabella's small smile grew to a bigger one. "Yeah." Chris smiled at her. "Okay, give me a hug."
Isabella giggled as she Wrapped her arms around his neck. Chris hugged her close. He felt relived she forgave him, he felt so bad for saying what he said to her and he's going to spend the rest of his life making it up to her.
He pulled away from her, he handed the stuffed animal to her before standing back up.
He looked back at you. "Uh these are for you. It's not an apology, I'll give you a sincere apology later, but for now I have these." He looked at you, he had bags under his eyes from his sleepless night, and tear streaks on his cheeks from the crying he did.
you quickly tore your eyes from His taking the flowers. "Thanks." You cleared your throat. "Uh shall we have breakfast?"
Chris inhaled, "yeah." He walked over to the opposite side of the table and took a seat. You did the same sitting back beside isabella. You all ordered trying to forget about the tension that was very much between you and Chris. It was nice that you both were talking, but you just couldn't wait for the much needed talk later that night.
*
It was around 8 pm. You and Chris decided to drop her off at his mom's house. You didn't want what happened the day before to happen again.
You sat on the couch fiddling with your shirt end. Chris was in the kitchen getting you both something to drink before you talked.
"so um.. I got you some water." Chris said walking over to you handing you the glass of water. You thanked him Taking a sip before placing it on the coffee table. Chris sat beside you with a sigh.
"I.. I'm sorry for yesterday. I didn't mean any of it. It just slipped out because I was drunk and tired, I wasn't in my right head space in the moment and I took out on you and Bella and I'm sorry." He breathed out. He scanned your face waiting for you to speak. You shook your head, you didn't look at him but you spoke.
"yeah you're sorry, but you really hurt me. I wish I was never, that's fucked up and it hurts so much. If you never wanted to marry me why did you?"
You turned to Chris, tears threatening to spill over. The look on your face hurted Chris, he fucked up big time and he knew it.
"no, I didn't mean that, I swear. I love you more than anything. I don't regret marrying you, it was just a stupid mistake... I'm sorry baby."
Tears were starting to form in chris' eye. He felt guilty, he knew no amount of words could fix what he done but he was sorry more than anything.
"you promise?" You looked at him. Your lips were trembling Because of your crying.
"I promise." Chris said. He cupped your cheek with his hand. He placed a light kiss on your nose, but it wasn't enough for you. You went way too long without kissing him, you weren't going to waste another second not.
You grabbed his chin kissing him. Somehow his chap lips felt soft. They felt like home to you, you missed them so much.
You pulled away looking back at Chris. "I have something I need to tell you." You said fiddling with his hands.
"I'm pregnant."
Chris gave you a sour look, you already knew why. "You know?" Chris nodded, "the doctor called. they have an appointment for you, they want you to call them back to tell you."
You exhaled, "well... Surprise." You laughed making Chris smile. He missed that sound. He's been gone for so many nights he totally forgot how it sounded.
"can I come to the next appointment?" Chris pouted his lip making you laugh. "Of course you can. You need to your little peanut. I'm thinking it's a boy"
Chris frowned, "no I'm pretty sure it's a girl."
"you haven't seen them yet." You said to him Rolling your eyes playfully. "I know but I want another princess."
"touche."

After the End (Comes the Beginning)
Relationships: 10th Doctor x reader, Donna x reader (platonic), Donna x Doctor (platonic), Rose x reader (mentioned, platonic)
Summary: Christmas bride rewrite. The Doctor and you cope with the loss of Rose and meet Donna.
Warnings: mentions of the loss of Rose
Genre: angst
You lost her.
You lost Rose and she didn't even get to finish her sentence before you and the Doctor were ripped away.
You were standing in the TARDIS with her last words ringing in your ears. You stared at the wall where she'd stood just a second ago. You were sinking to your knees and you didn't even notice with your vision blurred, too many tears to see through.
Too much pain to get up.
A sob interrupted your quiet litany of "Nononononononononono-" and you hadn't even known you were speaking. You tried to catch your breath but you seemed to have forgotten how to take air in. The only thing that existed was the hole in your chest.
Then the Doctor's teary face appeared in your vison. His hands were gripping your arms. He was calling for you.
"Y/N. Y/N. Y/N." There was desparation in his voice and so much grief in his eyes that it woke you up.
Because he'd lost Rose too. He loved her too, you three had been best friends and after all that he'd lost he must have been breaking. And if there was one thing you wouldn't stand for now, it was leaving him alone.
"I'm here." You wiped your tears with your palms and looked into his deep brown shattered eyes. "I'm here, Doctor, and l'm not leaving." You tried for a smile as you gently took his face in your hands and wiped his tears with your thumb.
When you saw he'd heard you, you pulled him into your arms. You were clinging to each other and you weren't sure if you were ever going to stop. Ever.
Then you heard a gasp and a shocked squeak. You and the Doctor broke apart enough to look at the strange woman who was now standing in TARDIS. You both stood up out of astonishment to see her better.
"What?" you heard the Doctor's incredoulus voice. You simply stared. If you hadn't been desolate, the sight would have been hilarious.
There was a ginger bride standing in the TARDIS asking, "Who are you?" and there was no clue to explain how she got there.
You found yourself smiling.
"What?" the Doctor breathed again. You thought you might start laughing but then you looked at him. He still had teartracks on his face.
The reality came back like a slap.
"Who are you?" she demanded, and you just
stared.
"What?" The Doctor seemed to be caught in a loop so you stepped towards her.
"Hi. My name's Y/N and this is the Doctor. You're standing in the TARDIS."
"You can't do that l wasn't- we're in flight that is- that is physically imposible how did you-" the Doctor was rambling away but the ginger cut him off.
"Tell me where l am," she told you with force. "I demand you tell me RIGHT NOW where am l?"
"Inside the TARDIS," you repeated and she focused on you.
"The what."
"The TARDIS."
"The what?"
"The TARDIS."
"The what???"
"It's called the TARDIS," the Doctor finally joined in.
"That's not even a proper word!"
~
When the Doctor went to get money from the ATM, you went with him. You'd have stayed with Donna before, before, but not now. You were not letting him out of your sight. Judging by the panicked look in his eyes when he checked if you were following him he felt the same.
~
You turned him away from the partying crowd, towards the bar. You'd recognized the look in his eyes as he watched the dancing couples, it mirrored how you felt inside.
You hugged him close and he buried his face into your shoulder.
Then you noticed the cameraman.
~
You screamed at Lance when he said those horrible things about Donna. You made sure she knew she isn't alone. You held her hand.
Then when she was crying in the TARDIS and the Doctor didn't notice, you held her.
~
When the empress of the Racknoss screamed, you got lost. She screamed in grief, and there was just as much of it in you.
Donna pulled you out of it.
There would be enough time to grieve when this was over, and then you would never get lost again.
~
"I'll just, go out there and do something," Donna finished with a smile. You exchanged looks with the Doctor.
"Well, you could always..." he began.
"What?"
"Come with us." You stepped towards her. There was so much hope in you but you tried to keep it at bay. You didn't think you could take much more hurt today.
"No," Donna said in a soft voice. Well, so much for that.
"Okay," the Doctor reacted immediately.
"I can't," Donna told you sadly.
"No, that's fine!"
"No but really though, I mean everything we did today- Do you live your life like that?"
"Not all the time," you tried, but you knew it was no use. It wasn't true.
"I think you do. And I couldn't," Donna shook her head.
"But you've seen it out there," you tried. "It's beautiful."
"And it's terrible. That place was flooding and bruning and they were dying and he stood there like-" Donna turned to the Doctor. "I don't know. A stranger."
"And then you made it snow, I mean you scare me to death!" She turned back to you. "The both of you!"
"Well then," said the Doctor.
But then Donna went on, "Tell you what I will do, though- Christmas dinner."
She was followed by silence.
You couldn't speak, not when you could see Jackie's gentle smile as she passed you your cup. And then you could hear Mickey laugh while you scooped the turkey on your plate. Home, they had been your home, Rose and Jackie and Mickey, all that warmth and joy and ease, because you hadn't had to pretend when they were there. No, every moment was a gi-
"Oh come on." Donna's voice broke you out of the dream. Because that was what it was now, and that was what it would stay - a dream.
"No, no, we couldn't," you tried to decline. You couldn't sit down with a family, and be happy, and let it be Christmas. Not now. The memory of Mickey and Jackie burned, but Rose -
Not without Rose. Not when it felt like half your chest was missing. It had been less than a day.
"We don't do that sort of thing," the Doctor joined in.
"You did it last year, you both said so, and might as well, because mom always cooks enough for twenty," she tried.
"Donna," you said and there was something in your voice that stopped her (grief). "We can't." You let your sorrow show, and you hadn't wanted to do that.
But it was so, so close, just below the surface, everything in you was screaming, still screaming Nononononono ROSE!!!! There had been enough danger and adrenaline to distract you, but now that you were standing there in the snow, you couldn't keep the gnawing pain at bay. You were splintering.
She looked into your eyes, and you knew she understood. "Will I ever see you again?"
The Doctor gave her a soft smile. "If we're lucky."
Then you stepped towards Donna and she hugged you, even though you were both damp from the rain. She lifted her head from your shoulder and adressed the Doctor, "Just... hold onto her." She gave you a tight squeeze. "You need someone to stop you."
"Yeah," his voice was so soft you almost couldn't catch it.
And now it was time to go. You pulled away, but before you let go, you smiled and looked into Donna's brilliant blue eyes. "Thank you." You squeezed her arm so she knew you really meant it.
"And good luck," the Doctor wished Donna as you stepped backwards to join him. "And just... be magnificent."
She chuckled. "I think I will, yeah."
The Doctor opened the TARDIS door for you and you stepped in, but then Donna called out for you to wait and you both turned back. "What?"
"That friend of yours, what was her name?" she asked and you were ashamed you hadn't told her yet.
"Rose," you and the Doctor said in one voice. "Her name was Rose," you repeated and then there was nothing left to say.
You gave Donna a sad smile and turned away. The Doctor closed the door behind you and walked to the concole. You joined him just in time to grab a hold of it when the TARDIS started shaking.
You were off to the stars.
~
"Do you blame me?" the Doctor said in a tight voice when it was quiet. It was just the two of you again. You'd been hugging, and then he'd pulled away just enough to see your face and ask.
"What?" You had a small idea what he meant, but you didn't want to believe it. He wouldn't meet your eyes.
"Do you blame me for losing Rose?" he clarified, looking down at your joined hands. "I was supposed to keep you safe. I promised l would keep you both safe. And l didn't." His voice broke on the last word. His shoulders were tense, like he was bracing for a hit. You realized he'd braced himself because he thoght you wanted to leave him.
And all you wanted to do was smack him.
"Doctor, listen to me. And listen well," you commanded as you gently tilted his chin to look him in the eye. "Are you listening?" you demanded, and he nervously replied, "Yes."
"Good. What happened to Rose was not your falt. Did you hear me? Not. your. fault. I do not, and will never blame you for her loss."
He stared at you with his big brown eyes, lips slightly parted. He was completely lost, like he couldn't comprehend what you were saying.
"We knew that it was dangerous, we knew what could happen. It was her choice to stay, like it was mine. It could have been me just as easily."
His grip on your arm tightened as he shook his head, whispering "No, nononono," like he couldn't let himself imagine that posibility.
But you went on, "Or it could have been you, or none of us. That's the risk we took, that's the risk we both chose to take, from the moment we started travelling with you."
"It was our choice. Rose's and mine. And you don't get to take it from us, you hear me? You don't get to take her choice away like it was something you decided, like it was something only you did. She loved us and chose us and she was brave. So the consequences came, yes, like every other adventure we had, it's just that this time we don't like them. But they are ours and we'll live with them." There was stinging in your eyes and you didn't fight it. You cupped the Doctor's cheek with your hand. His brown eyes were wide, as if he just now came to understand what you'd said. What you'd meant.
You went on, "I'll grieve, and l'll hurt and so will you. But l'd rather have that time, the memories of Rose, of us together and the pain, than not to have had her at all." Your throat tightened and you had to swallow a few times to be able to speak again. You took a breath and finished, "So remember, Doctor, the choice was hers, and the choice is mine."
He had tears glittering on his cheeks and so did you. You held his gaze until he closed his eyes and hung his head, and then you hugged him.
You held him close and he clung to you even though he was shaking. You both sobbed but still you held each other.
You would hold each other together.

AN: Hey before we start, I know Kyudai Garaki has been very triggering for Chinese MHA manga readers. His name only gets stated once and the rest of the time he is simply referred to as "doctor". I don't know If I have Chinese readers, but I am aware of how his name alone has affected those fans and I want them to know I understand and therefore will not be using that name when referring to him.
Now, on with the fic!
I hope y’all can see that this chapter will be coming from Kurogiri’s point of view. If any of the warnings are an issue for you I do want you to know this chapter is not a must needed chapter to read. I just wanted to explore some issues relationships regarding Shigaraki.
Upon first waking up, Kurogiri felt strange. He didn’t know where he was or who he was, He felt keep guilt in his heart yet he had no idea as to why. All he could feel within his heart was a loss of an attachment.
“It’s awake?” Said a man’s voice.
Kurogiri looked at where the voice came from and saw a man with white hair and red eyes who stood at 234cm tall. The man next to him was noticeably shorter, had no hair on his head but had a big moustache and wore big goofy-looking glasses.
The shorter man responded. “It seems so. He also seems to be doing better than when he first woke up.”
“Agreed.”
First woke up? Wasn’t this the first time we woke up?
The taller man walked towards him, looking down at Kurogiri. “Do you remember anything?” He asked.
“No.” Kurogiri answered.
“Good.” The man looked deep into Kurogiri’s eyes with a creepy smile on his face. His eyes seem to glow either from quirk use or maybe he just looked evil. A feeling in Kurogiri’s gut made him want to fly away and run somewhere. He didn’t understand these feelings. “You will do everything I command you to do. Do you understand me?”
“Yes.” Kurogiri answered.
Kurogiri felt as if he was split in two. One who controlled the stage and was the main everything while in the back of his mind locked away in a box was something telling him to stop.
Even if he could fear it, it was not the main player and therefore it didn’t matter.
“Your one and only mission is to look after and protect my son, Tomura Shigaraki.”
“Yes, I understand.”
The doctor cleared his throat. “We should give it a name, sir.”
“Yes.” The white haired red eye man agree. “You’ll name will be Kurogiri, while you shall call me Master.”
Kurogiri nodded his head. “Yes sir.”
This is the only life Kurogiri will know, and should knows.
Yes. This is correct.
---
“This is my son, Tomura Shigaraki.” The man introduced. “Tomura, this is Korugiri, and he will be your caretaker when I am away.”
Kurogiri looked down at the 7 year old boy with light blue hair and red eyes, looking so much like his father besides his skin conduction on his face, more noticeably around his eyes. The boy also had hands wrapped around different parts of his body.
“It is a pleasure to meet you Tomura Shigaraki.” Kurogiri said as he walked closer up to the small boy.
The boy made a face before speaking. “You look like some hero wannabe.”
Kurogiri looked at his clothing, not aware of it earlier. He didn’t understand it himself though it felt as if he knew every pocket of said outfit.
The purple flame man turned his full attention to the boy, kneeing down to be on the same eye level. “Is there something you would rather have me wear?”
The boy looked puzzled at first, but then was in deep thought. The boy soon grabbed Kurogiri’s hand and lead him somewhere. “Yes, but first we must make sure it fits on.”
All For One watched as Tomura lead Kurogiri away. Once the two left the room he turned to the doctor.
“Do you think we will be able to make them… Less human, doctor?” All For One asked.
The doctor turned to his master with an evil smile. “Oh yes, sir! We can do more than that!”
“Alright, you then have my full blessing to continue this project of yours, Doctor.” All For One stated.
“If I may ask sir, why did you give away the Nomu to the child?” The Doctor asked. “We could’ve used the Nomu to defeat the current One For All Quirk Host!”
“It’s more of a back-up plan doctor.” Said All For One. “Just like how your Nomu’s will be part of my back up plan.”
The Doctor was confused by All For One’s answer. “What do you mean backup plan my lord?”
“You must always plan for if your first plan fails, doctor.” Said All For One. “I have many moving parts under my belt. You are aware of our planned attack on this All Might, but you are also part of the main back up fail if I get gravely injured. I am… Preparing Tomura to be my next host body either for myself or my quirk if that happens. Kurogiri will now be a part to make sure the body stays intact, ready for my use.”
Upon realising of his master’s plan, the doctor’s face glowed up in happiness. “Oh Master! You are so smart! I am sorry for doubting you!”
“It does not matter to me doctor.” All For One scuffed.
Another reason I picked Tomura was because he looks so much like my beloved brother… All For One thought to himself. If only that idiot learnt how student his ideals where.
All For One shook his head, making the memories of his late brother leave his memory. His only focus was to defeat those enemies who wish to bring him down, which was All Might.
---
Over the 3 years Kurogiri looked after Tomura, Kurogiri became very attached to Tomura. He culdn’t help but see Tomura as his own son, even if Tomura did not see Kurogiri as the same.
The tiny voice at the back of his head also became more quite, barely ever speaking. Even then , Kurogiri learnt how to tune the voice out. As if he would care what that voice said.
Well, that was untilt eh day he finally caved into Tomura begging to go outside. Tomura wanted to see some gaming cafe. It was agonist the rules All For One had set for them, but Tomura had been begging since his 10th birthday earlier in the year, and Kurogiri caved to the constant begging.
Tomura was guilding Kurogiri to where they where heading, approaching the corner rather fast.
A woman walked straight into him.
Kurogiri was unbothered on the woman bumping into him, though he was more worried this woman would harm Tomura or him. He could’ve listened to the Master, he shouldn’t have let Tomura leave the stronghold, they should’ve stayed still.
Then, he heard your voice.
“Oof!”
Everything stopped inside of him. He looked down at you, recongising you.
Y/N L/N? The once silent voice in the corner of his mind spoke up.
He felt everything in his body been drawn to you. Even if he didn’t act on it. He felt a need to ask if you were alright, to ask if you were okay, to ask how you’ve been, to help you up. He wanted to protect you.
However, the dark shadow in his mind sat the small voice back down, shutting it him.
You stepped back from him, rubbing you head before looking up at you.
Gosh I’ve missed her eyes. As beautiful as ever. Said the small voice.
Shut up! Said the dark shadow.
“Sorry about that sir.” You said with your sweet voice. He felt so drawn to you.
He should apogoise to you. It was his fault. He shouldn’t had been walking as fast.
His thoughts were stopped when you looked at Tomura who was standing behind him.
Tomura. Tomura was more important than you. Tomura, Tomura Shigaraki.
He fell back into the mindset he has been in for the past years. Yes, that’s right. He didn’t know who you were, but you needed to get away from him and Tomura. You were just some worthless nurse from the looks of it. You as previous as Tomura was, the adopted child of All For One. You probably sided with filthy heroes, the same heroes like All Might who reduced the powerful All For One to a death bed.
You were nothing to Tomura and therfore, you meant nothing to him.
“It’s alright.” He said bluntly.
He was not going to give up anything to you, you filthy hero supporter. How dare you set your eyes on Tomura.
You walked past him, giving him nor Tomura the time of day.
The silent voice was screaming out to you, that annoying thing.
How dare it look out for you. You were nothing.
“You seem like you know that person, Kurogiri.” Tomura said, breaking Kurogiri from his thoughts.
He turned to watch you walk away.
Did, did he know you?
The silent voice seemed to know you, but did him, Kurogiri, know you?
No, he didn’t.
And so, why should be care what happens to you.
“I don’t remember her, but I feel as if I know her from somewhere.” He answered honestly to Tomura.
Kurogiri wasn’t going to be honest with himself sure, but to Tomura or All For One? Never.
Tomura scoffed. “Maybe she is your soulmate or something.”
Everything in Kurogiri’s body stopped. Soulmate? No, no he didn’t have one of those. He knew that much. But the mere thought of Soulmate seemed to bring a deep pain to him. He had a feeling it had an relation to you, but he didn’t know why.
“...I do not think I have a soulmate, Shigaraki.” Kurogiri answered the non question.
“Hmmm. I don’t have one either.” Tomura replied.
Kurogiri self sad those words. The world could feel lonely when one walks around with no soulmate, he knew that.
“Anyway, about that place I wanted to go to Kurogiri.” Tomura said, bring kurogiri out of his head.
Yes, he needed to focus on Tomura, not someone of the likes of you or his past. Tomura Shigaraki was the only thing that mattered.
---
All For One turned to the doctor. “What do you mean by they left?”
“They have seemed to have left the strong hold my lord.” The doctor answered his master.
“And why did it take you so long to notice they were gone?” All For One yelled at the doctor.
How could Kurogiri fail to listen to his order? This hasn’t happened before. Did the filthy Nomu get too attached to Tomura?
“I got an alert the nomu’s brain patterns were going off like crazy sir.” The doctor answered. “I checked the camera to see what could possibly have caused this issue and could not find him nor the child in the stronghold. All I can guess is that he saw either a place or someone who use to mean a lot to him before he died.”
All For One gripped his hand down. “Is there a way to fix this?”
“Making sure he stays away from those people or places as long as we can and deeper brainwashing is my guess my lord.” The doctor answered.
“We will have to do that then.” All For One answered with a sigh. “For the rest of the nomu’s, make sure their loved ones are killed so this can’t happen in the future.”
“Should we do the same with the Kurogiri nomu?” The doctor asked.
“No. He went to UA, meaning his close ones are either heroes or have connection to heroes. It would be too big of a risk. We are trying to keep me alive while pretending I’m dead. We can’t give it away that I didn’t die yet.”
The doctor nodded his head. “Understood sir.”
The doctor turned and made his way to the door before All For One stopped him.
“Doctor, where are you going?” All For One stated loudly. The doctor turned and saw how angry All For One was. “We are not done yet.”
The doctor gulped and smiled. “I’m sorry sir.”
“Bring Kurogiri and Tomura here to me as soon as possible. They both will be deeply punished for not following my orders. And so will you doctor, for not picking up on it earlier.
The doctor had a cold sweat on his back upon hearing his master’s words.
“Y-Yes sir, I will do that. My deepest apogosies my lord.” The doctor bowed to his master. “Is that all?”
All For One frowned. “Yes, you may leave.”
The doctor bowed again, and left the room as fast as he could.
What did her get himself into?

10th doctor x reader - time Lord and vampire
You looked as the doctor, or rather now, John Smith rushed past, and you sighed a little to yourself as you crouched down to clean the floor.
“Couldn’t you be doing something else?” Martha whispered.
“Like what?”
“I don’t know, what did you originally all those years ago, this time.”
You looked at you friend and sat back on your legs a little bit.
“Well… if I remember correctly, I was lying with a stake in my heart.”
“Would that kill you?”
“No, only a certain one can kill me. My brother was just being petty, so don’t worry I won’t run into myself.”
She laughed softly and you both went back to cleaning the floor, and you watched as the doctor rushed back with the matron behind him.
You went back to cleaning the floor.
“Come on, he’ll remember soon.”
“I hardly doubt that, I’ve been travelling with him long enough Martha, and I know the doctor, and unless that watch is opened he won’t remember a single thing.”
She looked at you and you gave her a sad smile.
“I don’t know how long I can watch him fall in love with someone else…”
Your voice cracked and she placed a hand on your shoulder, giving it a small squeeze.
“What else can you do?” She asked.
“I.. I can leave..”
“You can’t! He’ll look for you!”
“And you’ll give him the letter on my bed, I’m sorry Martha, but I can’t keep doing this. I’m sorry.”
She kept trying to change your mind throughout the day, but as night fell, you left without anything.
You just up and vanished and all your belongings you let with her, and she made sure to take very good care of them.
And she didn’t know how to tell the doctor, even as she stood at the TARDIS door waiting for him after everything.
“Where’s (Y/N)?” He asked.
Martha went to say something.
“Oh! Before I forget! I haven’t said thank you yet!”
He hugged her and she smiled sadly as she hugged him softly and he quickly pulled away and gestured to the TARDIS
“Are they inside?”
“Doctor they… (Y/N)… they left…”
“They left?” He asked confused.
Martha nodded her head softly, and she looked at him.
“I’m sorry.. I.. I tried to stop them doctor I did.. but I’ve put all their things inside, and here, they asked me to give you this.”
She handed him the letter and he looked at it confused.
“I’m sorry…”
“It’s fine.. we’ll see them again you know that…”
He didn’t read the letter at first, he set it on the console as he set the TARDIS into flight, and he tried to ignore it.
But when they tried to find you, they would explore everywhere you tended to be, but they never found you.
So, finally, standing alone in his TARDIS, he opened the letter you had written for him.
It didn’t contain much. Just a few words.
And his hands began to tremble as he looked at it, and he felt his eyes burning with tears.
Taking a deep breath, he blinked them away and set the letter down and he turned away when the door was opened.
Taking the letter he shoved it into his jacket and turned around.
“You can’t just go bursting into people ships you know.” He scolded.
Martha rolled her eyes a little bit and walked over, holding out a bit of paper.
“It’s not my birthday yet.”
“I don’t even know when you’re birthday is, and it’s not that. I remembered (Y/N) giving me this after I travelled with you, said I would know when to give it to you. I think how’s that time.”
“What?”
Martha shrugged a little bit and grinned, and she backed away towards the door.
“Have fun!” She chirped.
With that, she left and he looked at this bit of paper as well.
Opening it, he looked at the coordinates for somewhere, and an address and he shrugged, putting them into the console.
He didn’t know why you wanted him to have this, but he wanted to find out, so that’s where he went by himself.
When the TARDIS stopped he double checked everything was right and he stepped out, looking around.
It was a large home in the middle of the country, and he could see some people stood by the front of it, so he made his way over.
They both looked at him and in a split second he was shoved to the floor by one and the darker haired one stood in front him.
“How did you get here?”
“I got a letter telling me to come here from (Y/N)! It’s in my jacket!”
The one holding him went through his pockets and pulled it out, looking at it and handed it over.
“They’re friends do seem to get stranger and stranger.”
“Niklaus now is not the time. Let him go.”
“That’s no fun.”
“(Y/N) will have your head if you hurt him, you know that, and we apparently need his help.”
The doctor was hauled up and he stumbled a little bit and looked at the two.
“Vampires?” He asked.
“Elijah and Niklaus.” Elijah said.
“(Y/N)s brothers, and you’re going to help us fix whatever is wrong with them.”
“Are they okay?” The doctor asked.
The two shared a look and Klaus gestured towards the large our.
“They have been locked inside that house for a while, had a witch out a spell on it and we can’t see if they’re okay or not.”
“We’ve had a little bit of contact, maybe a phone call here or there, but that’s all. The last time we heard from them was months ago.” Elijah explained.
“But you can’t get in?”
“Magic, but you can. So, if they’ve sent you here they must want you. So, fix this.”
The doctor turned to the house which now he was closed he could see the door had been smashed through.
“Niklaus thought throwing things would get (Y/N) to open the door.”
“What can I do?”
“They’ve been asking for you for a while, we assume it’s related.”
The doctor nodded and he looked at your two brothers and he slowly made his way towards the house and he stepped through the door.
“(Y/N)?”
He heard the sound of something being tossed against a wall and breaking, and he followed the sound.
You were in the kitchen, sitting against a wall, and he looked at the other wall which had a pile of glass building up at the bottom.
You reached next to you and pulled another bottle and opened it.
“I think you’ve had enough..” he whispered.
You moved the bottle away and pushed yourself up, stumbling a few times, and you stumbled around the table.
“No…”
“Hey, come on now, how much have you drank?”
He had seen you drink a lot, a lot that would put a human in hospital, but never did he ever think a vampire could get drunk.
And you were beyond that.
You were absolutely wasted, without a sense of recognition or care in the world.
You began to down the bottle and you tossed it behind you, breaking it on the wall.
He looked at the bottles on the counter and reached them before you, and he gently gripped your wrist.
“You’ve had enough now.” He said.
“You.. don’t…”
You didn’t even finish your sentence before you gripped your stomach, groaning a little bit.
“Let’s get you laid down, sleep it off..” he whispered.
The doctor helped you to the sofa, and he slowly laid you down, and you tried to get up again but he wouldn’t let you.
So you laid down once more, and he took a good look at you.
He could smell the alcohol pouring from you, seeping out of your skin and your clothes.
Reaching out, he place his hand on your forehead.
“Get some sleep…”
You mumbled something he couldn’t understand, and he sat down on the coffee table, holding your hand.
When he was sure you were asleep, he got up and went outside to meet with your brothers.
“So?”
“They’re asleep now, but drunk. Really drunk. I didn’t know vampires could get drunk.”
“Well, if you drink so much you’d get drunk too.” Klaus shrugged.
“They’ve been drinking day and night since they got here, hasn’t eaten anything. So you might want these.”
Elijah handed over a cooler and the doctor took it.
“When they wake up tell them to remove this damn barrier.” Klaus said.
“I will.”
The two brothers nodded and headed back to their car and the doctor headed inside.
He kept checking on you, but while he wasn’t he was cleaning up your mess, trying to rid the smell from the house.
He poured the rest of the drinks down the sink and got rid of those bottles as well.
You slept all through the night, and you woke up the next day and crinkled your nose in disgust.
“Jesus…”
Slowly getting up, you walked upstairs to shower, changing into some clean clothes and you went into the kitchen, going through all the cupboards.
“I got rid of them.”
You turned around, and you froze a little bit at the doctor and he pointed to the fridge and so you went over and opened it before closing it again.
Ignoring the food in there for you, you headed out the back and dropped yourself on the back step with a groan.
“You have to eat something, please.”
You waved your hand dismissively and you reached under the porch, pulling out another bottle.
“No, come on (Y/N) this isn’t funny, you’ve drank enough now.”
You jumped away, and you backed up a few steps.
“You don’t get a say.” You snapped.
“You can’t just keep drinking like this.”
“Not like it’s going to kill me is it?”
“(Y/N)…”
You ignored him and walked over to the bench and sat on it so you could carry on drinking, and he walked over.
You looked at him and he carried on walking, reaching out he took the bottle from your hand and he set it aside.
“Just stop, please…”
“Why? It’s the only thing that helps.”
“Helps what? You’re destroying yourself, you can only go long without eating even I know that.”
“It helps me forget you doctor! It helps me pretend that I didn’t just get abandoned back then! It wasn’t so bad when I was laying half dead in some coffin, but actually being alive? Having to live over a hundred years knowing that somewhere out there in my timeline in the past I didn’t have to watch you not notice me!”
“(Y/N) I.. I had to do it.. you know I did…”
You shook your head and clenched your jaw.
“It’s not that doctor! It’s watching as you walk past day and day again slowly falling in love with some human, knowing you’d live a happy life with her if you really wanted to. Knowing that even if I wanted to I couldn’t make you notice me because I would outlive you.”
You took a deep breath.
“I have your memory burned into my brain and I couldn’t just go by watching as you walked past and I couldn’t even talk to you. So I left, I stayed hidden away until it came to now, and I came back here, and I hide away.”
“You locked yourself in a house and you’ve drank what I can only assume to be a whole liquor factory at this point.”
You shrugged a little bit and took the bottle as you walked around him.
“I waited, and I waited. And I guess I just got bored of waiting, so I wanted to forget, at least this way I can. I should never have agreed to go with you, I should’ve known better.”
You walked back inside and he ran after you calling your name.
The doctor stopped you in the kitchen, and he took the bottle from you again.
“I read your letter, the one you gave to Martha before you left. She gave it to me.”
“I couldn’t even tell you what I did yesterday.” You laughed weakly.
You walked around him once more, and went back to the sofa and dropped yourself down on it.
“I assume my idiot brothers sent you in anyways, tell ‘em I’m fine would you, thanks.”
The doctor didn’t know what to do, so he let you fall asleep, and this time he did a more intense search to make sure everything was cleared.
And you slept for the next two days before you finally woke up, this time sober
Sitting up, you stretched and yawned a little, resting your head on the back of the sofa and rubbed your head a little bit.
You felt something being dropped in your lap and you looked at it, watching as the doctor walked away.
Picking up the blood bag, you headed upstairs while drinking from it, and you set it aside to shower, and finished it before brushing your teeth and heading back down.
Binning the empty bag, you leant on the table and groaned a little bit as a pain went through your stomach.
“What’s wrong? What’s happening?” The doctor asked.
“Hunger pains… and withdrawal. I.. I think you should come back in a few weeks..”
“What? Why?”
“Because right now you’re looking a lot better than those old bags in the fridge…”
The doctor took his jacket and blazer off and held his arm out to you.
“Do it then.”
“No… look.. I can’t get out of here.. just come back… please…”
You gripped your stomach tightly and he shook his head.
“No. I’m not leaving you like this.”
You grumbled and walked into the basement and willingly entered one of the rooms, and you gestured for him to close the door.
“Bring a new bag down every few hours… put it through the bars…”
“Alright.”
So he did, he would sit by the door and walked to you, and bring you a new bag when you asked.
And after nearly a week and a half, you were okay to come out, you weren’t going mad with hunger, you weren’t in pain anymore.
Though you were still weak.
But you could finally come out, and the doctor just watched you pacing laps around the garden for a few minutes.
“I want to talk about that letter.”
You ignored him, still pacing around.
“Stop.”
You did and you turned to the doctor, and he walked over, immediately crushing you into a hug and you froze for a second.
Then you hugged him back, resting your head on his shoulder.
“Doctor..?”
“I love you too…” he whispered.
The doctor pulled away and he looked at you gently.
“Yes as a human I could’ve had an amazing life, but that wasn’t me. This is me, and this is me telling you I can have that life with you too. You’re a vampire, you’ve already lived slightly longer than me (Y/N). So we can carry on living, together.” He smiled.
“Doctor… you need to think about this…”
“What’s there to think about.”
He pointed to himself.
“Time lord.”
Then he pointed to you.
“Original vampire.”
Then he took your face in his hands.
“Both near enough immortal…”
You quickly leant up to kiss him, and he happily kissed you back and he pulled away with a little grin on his face.
“Brilliant, so get that witch to break this barrier and let’s go!”
You laughed and shook your head at him, brushing past him as you headed inside.
“I still need time to gather my full strength back.”
“But (Y/N) it’s been a month already come on!” He whined.
He turned around and ran after you, and you were sat at the table and he turned around.
“That’s still disgusting why can’t you drink out of a cup?”
“Because I don’t want to, go away you lurker come back in a month or so.”
“Nope.”
“Stop lurking.”
“I’m bored!”
“Then go back to the TARDIS!”
“No!”
He turned around and he looked at you, and you rose a brow at him.
“Go away.”
“No.”
“Why?”
“Because I want you to come with me.”
“Not yet.”
He huffed and sat down at the table, pouting to himself.
Getting up, you walked behind him and gently titled his head back to look at you.
Leaning down you pressed a tender kiss to his forehead and he smiled at you.
“Fine, just give me a couple more days okay, just to rest.”
He nodded his head and you began to walk away, heading back to bed and it wasn’t long before he joined you, letting you lay on his chest to listen more clearly to the sound of his beating hearts.
“I should’ve told you before everything…” he mumbled.
“What’s done is done doctor.”
He nodded a little bit and he looked at you.
Truth be told, he could somewhat remember you, even if he had forgotten who he was, when he looked at your face there was something telling him he remembered you but not who you were.
And when he regained everything that made him who he was, he was fallen you weren’t there because all he wanted to do was kiss you.
That’s all he’s ever wanted to do

Epilogue: Like Real People do.
The lace of your dress is itchy.
You had gone dress shopping with the girls and you had tried a bunch on before settling on the one you chose. It was a long sleeved chiffon dress with a slim bodice that flared into a puffy skirt stopping just above your ankle. It had small floral details along the top and the sleeves. At the time, it had been perfect. You had felt beautiful, and you cried thinking about seeing Spencer for the first time down the aisle in it. But right now it itches.
Why did it itch?
It wasn’t that you were getting cold feet. You wanted nothing more than to be Dr. Y/n Reid but for some reason you couldn’t bring yourself to move when it was time. You were standing looking out the window when Hotch came to find you.
“Y/n, are you ready? Everyone’s waiting.” He says, before pausing. “You look beautiful, why are you upset?”
You didn’t even notice the tears falling. You quickly try to quell them to not ruin your makeup you just had done. “I just--when I pictured my wedding. I didn’t think my parents would be gone and that I’d have to walk alone. And thinking of everyone’s eyes on me is freaking me out.” You sniffle a bit, eyes going wide when the idea comes to you. “Will you walk with me?” You ask.
“You want me to walk you down the aisle?” Hotch asks, shocked. You immediately back track.
“You don’t have to—I should’ve asked before. I just didn’t want to go alone—“
“Y/n…” he says, looking at you sincerely. “Nothing would make me happier than to give you away, if that’s what you want.” You look at him, seeing he is also misty-eyed. You nod, pulling him into a tight hug.
————————————
You and Spencer are married November 10th. After months of arguing over the date of your wedding. Him wanting a fall wedding and you wanting a winter one, November felt like the perfect compromise. In the end, he was right just like he always was with your wedding being held in a forested area near the Potomac. The tall trees with the red, orange and brown leaves falling, the view of the lake and the yellow string lights you had around the ceremony. It was breathtaking. Fall had definitely been the way to go. You also argued about writing your own vows. You didn’t want to and he did. In the end he was right again. His vows to you were beautiful, he talked about how some believed soulmates were 500 years in the making and able to transcend lifetimes. And that while he was a man of science, upon meeting you had been the first time he actually believed that. And that he was excited to spend this lifetime with you just as much as he was excited for the next. You tried to hold the tears that were falling involuntarily as the minister announced it was time for your vows.
“Um, I don’t quite know how to follow that.” You chuckle nervously, inducing a laugh from the people at your ceremony. “My father used to tell me every time I was upset that ‘a lot of rotten luck means good luck was on the way’. For most of my life, I didn’t believe him. I didn’t believe in luck, just in circumstance and that I was a victim of just really bad circumstance.” You say, you gripping Spencer’s hand tighter. His hand reaches up to wipe at a stray tear that falls from your face. It’s in that moment you remember one of the biggest reasons you loved Spencer. He was always ready to comfort you, whether you needed it or not. The action just makes more tears fall. “It wasn’t until I met you that I believed in luck. Meeting you has been the single most luckiest thing to ever happen to me and I plan on spending everyday treating you like I am the luckiest woman alive because when I’m with you, I am.” You tear up, Spencer hands move to wipe your tears again only this time you lean in to kiss him which he happily obliges.
“Save it til the end guys!” You hear Derek call over the crowd, which induces a chuckle from everyone including the two of you.
——————————
You still worked well together. Better than ever actually. The first couple of weeks were awkward as someone would call for Dr. Reid and you both would turn. Spencer would always look at you, eyes shining with admiration every time it happened but after a while, everyone knew to say your first names when they needed your attention.
You meet Spencer’s dad about 6 months after you’re married. A case takes you back to Las Vegas and unfortunately to his offices as one of the victims recently hired him for a case. Spencer absolutely refused to go talk to him, you tried to convince him to but in the end, you understood why he couldn’t. Which was why, you and Derek walked into his office that day. Derek reaches to shake his hand.
“Walter, I don’t know if you remember me from before but I’m SSA Derek Morgan and this is my associate,Dr. Y/n Reid.”
He then let’s go of Derek before turning his smile and hand towards you. “Reid, huh?” He says. “What’re the chances?”
“Slim, actually. I’m married to your son.” You say shaking his hand. He looks at you in shock as does Derek. You had told him you weren’t going to say anything but upon meeting him you decided you didn’t want to beat around the bush.
“Spencer?” He says, confused. You nod before getting into the actual nature of your visit. As Derek goes through the questions you had for him, you feel his eyes not leaving you. Once you’re done, the two of you thank him for his time before starting to leave. He calls out to you, you nod to Derek to wait for you outside.
The man looks at you, confused. “Sorry I’m trying to wrap my head around this. You’re married to Spencer?” You nod. “How long?” He asked.
“We’ve been married for 6 months and together about 2 years now.” You say, the man looks at you sullen. “I told him we should at least invite you but at the end of the day it was his decision to make and I respect him for it.”
“And is he doing okay?” He asked, “Spencer?”
“We’re taking care of each other.” You say. “But if you want to know about him, you have to reach out yourself. I lost both of my parents so family is really important to me. I don’t want either of you to miss out on more but at the end of the day it’s his decision to reconnect or not. And I’ll respect and support whatever he decides. Thanks for your help, Walter.” You say before leaving.
----------------------------------------------
About 8 months into your marriage is when you meet Abigail Reyes.
She’s a 5 year old whose parents hid her in a closet while the unsub murdered her family. Hotch warned you before the case not to get too attached and you tried, you really did but when she looked at you with those giant almond colored eyes, you couldn’t help yourself. You conducted all her interviews and watched her down at the station, drawing with her, you couldn’t help the tug at your heartstrings. Here was a kid who went through the same exact thing you had yet still had the capability to smile brightly at you.
That night as you and Spencer settled into the hotel bed, you asked him.
“Does she have someone?” Spencer looks at you, confused.
“Who, Doll?”
“Abigail. The vic’s daughter. Does she have someone or will she go into the system?” You say before rattling off quickly. “Because I know we haven’t talked much about kids but I know we both want them and maybe adopting isn’t what you had in mind but--”
His arms are hugging you instantly. “Sweetheart, I’m sorry. Her grandparents live in North Carolina and are probably already on their way for her.”
“Oh.” You say, trying not to sound disappointed. She was still going to a loving home even if it wasn’t yours.
“Do you want children?” He asks you, you shrug, silently. “Then whenever you’re ready, I am also ready. I can’t think of something I’d want more than a family with you.” He kisses your temple before rolling over to sleep.
You don’t remember when exactly but you turn off your reminder for birth control.
--------------------------------------------------------
You’re about 10 months into your marriage when you start to feel sick.
You’re sitting in Penelope’s bat cave drinking coffee and talking about the latest Doctor Who episode when the sudden wave of nausea. You were going to barf right now. You looked around for something before grabbing the nearest trash can. Garcia watches in shock as you lose your lunch.
“Are you ok? You’ve been sick a lot.” She says, concerned.
“Yea, I’m fine. This bug going around has been kicking my butt.”
“No one else’s lasted as long though.” She points out laughing. “If I didn’t know any better, I’d say you were pregnant.” She laughed. You looked up shocked. What was the date? You think to yourself.
September 14th.
You were late.
“Shit!” You say out loud. Garcia looks at you shocked.
“Oh my god! Are you--?”
“I have to take a test. Please don’t tell the others, especially Spen. i just-- I need to find out first.”
“You told me I wouldn’t have to keep any more secrets for you.”Garcia pouts.
“I know! Just one tiny one though until I can get in with my doctor?”
“Fine!” She exclaims. “You so owe me.” She says.
“I know. And If I am Garcie, You’re godmother, I promise.” You say, bolting out her office, smiling.
Garcia ended up right though. She always was.
------------------------------------------
You’ve decided pregnancy sucks but Spencer made it a bit better.
Spencer was, of course, over the moon when you told him. Immediately pulling you into a tight hug and spinning you. The two of you cried for at least a couple hours at the thought of your growing family.
As soon as you found out, you went to Hotch handing him the letter of resignation you drafted earlier yesterday night. He looked at it shocked before looking at you sadly. “Why, Y/N? I thought this was what you wanted?”
“I’m pregnant.” You say, Hotch’s sad expression immediately turns soft and happy. He pulls you into a tight hug. “I love this job but I saw what it did to my parents and I can’t do that to my family. Someone’s gotta take one for the team and since Spencer is such an asset, I think it’s me. I’ve already accepted a job to teach Criminal Psychology at Georgetown. Don’t try and stop me.”You say, Hotch immediately nods in understanding, putting his arms around you again.
“You’re going to be a fantastic mother.” He says. You can’t help the heavy sobs that rack through you.
———————————————
Autumn Alice Reid or as the team has started affectionately calling her, Double A, is born June 25th, despite her namesake.
You and Spencer had been sitting in the house you had purchased months ago in preparation for your daughter, playing chess when it happened. It was his move when you said.
“Spen, we have to go to the hospital. My water broke.”
“Y/N, I’m not falling for that again you say it every single time you’re losing.”
“I know, but this time I’m serious.” You stood up to reveal your extremely drenched pants and Spencer's eyes widened in shock.
“We’re having a baby!” He said, excitedly standing to hug you.
“We are. Now we should leave because I’d prefer to do it in a hospital.”
Childbirth is just as heinous and terrible as people say it was but the end result made it so much more worth it. Autumn laid sleeping in your arms now, her little fist grasping Spencer’s pinky. You never in your life thought it was possible to love something so fiercely, so instantly. But here she was, your own personal cryptid.
The team, of course, came in almost the instant the nurses let them. Everyone passes her around Godparents, Derek and Penelope, going first.
“She’s going to be such a little genius, isn’t she?” Penelope says, holding her little hand while Derek cradles her in his arms.
“Yea, and she’s going to ride that all the way to Cal-tech, aren’t you, sweetheart?” Spencer says, grabbing her from Derek.
“Or most likely Stanford.” You pipe up, from your hospital bed. Spencer narrows his eyes at you and you narrow right back at him. That was an argument for another day.
———————————
You woke up to an empty bed. Which isn’t uncommon, Spencer almost always was the one who tended to your daughter when she woke crying. You told him that you should switch off every once and a while but he would always dead that idea, saying you needed your sleep. He always put you before himself.
You padded along the cold, hardwood floors until you were at the open door of the nursery. The sight before you made you wish you also had eidetic memory, Spencer cradling your sleeping child in one hand, reading softly to her from the book in his other hand. As you moved closer to him, you could make out what the book was.
“Spen, we have children’s books. You don’t have to read her Tale of Two Cities.” You whisper, smiling softly at him.
“I know, but she doesn’t seem to like those. Tale of Two Cities seems to put her to sleep faster.”
“Well, Tale of Two Cities puts me to sleep too, so I get it.” You chuckle softly at the narrowed eyes Spencer gives you, before you sit on the ground next to the chair he’s sitting in with your daughter. “Read it to me too?” You ask, laying your head on his thigh.
He nods, smiling softly at the two of you.
“It was the best of times, It was the worst of times....” He starts, you drift off almost immediately.
Finally at peace in life.

Hello World
Na jaemin x fem!reader, Feat. 00 liners
Summary: Wait, humans suddenly disappeared? well isn’t it fun? you get to do whatever you want now but no one will be there for you anymore. You’re completely alone in a world that seems to be dead but is that Really it?
It’s been hours since you woke up, you’ve been wandering around the city but you haven’t met a single person yet. You also checked your phone but all your contacts, photos and all the files in it are gone, there is also no signal. It was quiet, too quiet it was hurting your ears. There’s no wind or any birds chirping and especially, the people are gone, it feels like the world isn’t alive at all. “i swear if i’m in Alice in borderland, im going to kill myself” you said.
You went to the mall market but the food seems to be expired already, seriously for how long did they disappeared? but at the fruit aisle there were still a few fresh fruits, you weren’t a big fan of fruits, you hate it but you have no other choice, all the foods are expired even if it isn’t you don’t know how to cook at all. Well, you can cook instant noodles and eggs but that’s all.
And of course because you’re alone, you jump on the beds at the furniture aisle while singing “five little monkeys jumping on the beds” not until you heard a loud thud nearby, you quickly hide under the blanket. Minutes passed nothing happened, maybe something just accidentally fell. Yeah ACCIDENTALLY
Months have passed, everyday feels the same, like you’re on a loop it’s sickening, are you really alone? or maybe your just dreaming. You tried pinching your arm, it hurts but nothing changed the world is still empty... dead. You’re running out of food, Your gonna die alone, no one is going to mourn your death. “Oh god oh god..” you pulled your hair and cried.
“I don’t want this, i didn’t ask for this.. I miss everyone” you said and hugged your knees.
.
.
.
.
.
“Here”
“Huh?” you immediately looked up, a guy with jet black hair beside you is offering you a handkerchief, you ignored it and wiped your tears with your hands, he looks away and puts the handkerchief back in his pocket. There’s a lot of stuff running in your mind right now, you feel happiness, sadness, and anger at the same time. You snapped out of your thoughts when he waved his hand in-front of your face. “I think they forgot us and went to mars” he joked but it didn’t move you.
You were too busy scanning every inch of his face, why the fuck he looks so healthy compared to me.. maybe he’s a robot?
He was in the middle of talking when you suddenly poked his cheek, “oh wow you’re real” you said, he laughed and removes your finger away form his face. “Yes I am real”
You keep asking him about everything, he tries his best to answer your questions. “Before all of this, i like being alone, it relaxes me, you know just vibing with myself but not this alone” he explained.
“I know, waking up thinking it was another normal day and the next thing you knew the people are gone, I might have you now but you might suddenly disappear too or me. Back then I’m scared to die, cause when you die you can’t do anything you want anymore, it’s just like dreaming forever, but for me this is worse” You said.
He took your hands and looked at you in the eyes, it was beautiful but the person who have it is sad. He wanted to changed that “Let’s make the most of it while we still have each other, I’m Jaemin by the way you?” He smiled.
His smile was beautiful and calming, almost like a free therapy, it made your heart skipped a beat “I’m y/n” . And so you two did, you shared each other’s favorite stuffs, read books together, danced in an empty street while raining, watched the sunset, played board games, and put on some expensive clothes and pretended like you guys are in a fashion runaway.
“You see that three stars together? My mom said those are the three Kings, oh there’s the orion!” You said pointing in the starry sky, you and jaemin are stargazing on top of a hill. He stares at you lovingly while you keep telling him about the meanings of each constellation you point out in the night sky. “I love you” he said out of nowhere causing you to stop.
You looked at him, his eyes sparkling “I love you too you know that” you said.
“No like LOVE love” he clear up.
Jaemin looked away, “It’s fine I can wait, I have all the time in the world”
Silence..
“It’s not like there’s someone who’s going to stole yo-“ when he looks back at your spot you were gone, it was as if you had suddenly disappeared like a bubble. “Y/n?” He stands up and starts looking around for you, his breath getting heavy, his vision starts to get blurry as tears formed on his eyes. Jaemin dropped on his knees and looked down. Just when things started to be fun, one had to disappear. Now he’s all alone again.
•••
You slowly opened your eyes, your vision cleared up and a white ceiling is the first one that greeted you. You felt a dextrose which is injected into your right hand. Wait, what are you doing in a hospital? you were like fine seconds ago.. and where’s Jaemin?
A woman entered the room, she looked middle aged based on her hair which has a few white strands. You were surprised when she suddenly jumped in joy when she saw you were awake, she fishes her phone out of her pocket and dials someone’s number. “Honey come here! our daughter is finally awake!” after that she cuts the line and hugged you. “Mom?” you said. She cares your hair softly “Im glad you can still remember me, i’ll go get the doctor wait here okay?” you nodded.
Your mom leaves the room, you sat there in silence. Was is it all a dream or am i in another dream right now? what about Jaemin?
Soon the doctor arrived with your mom, no, with your whole family. The doctor asked you a few question and you answered them effortlessly, “Your daughter is doing fine now, we can arrange her documents so she can leave in few days, and i recommend to let her rest for three days before going back to business.” the doctor explained.“Thanks doc” you heard your dad said, the doctor nodded and leaves the room along with their nurse.
“I don’t remember what happened, how did I ended up here?”you asked, they all sat beside your bed. Your mom held out your hand and rubs it with her thumb. “You got hit by Car, you were comatose for 8 months we thought we were going to lose you” Your dad explained. You forced a smile, you don’t know what to do in this kind of situation so you just looked down.
You looked up after you felt your stomach growl, “can i go to the cafeteria? im hungry”you requested.
Your mom accompanied you to the cafeteria while your dad and older brother decided to stay in your room, you were surrounded by a lot of people you felt different. You want to tell your family about what happened and especially Jaemin but they might think your silly. While your mom is ordering food, you are looking for an empty seat. You weren’t paying much attention infront of you and bump into someone, luckily they catches you before you kiss the floor.
“sorry i’m so sorry i wasn’t looking” you apologized.
“no no it’s fine i wasn’t either” the guy smiled, he felt familiar, it feels like you already met him but where? “oh wait y/n? it’s you, glad you already woke up!” he said and hugged you.
“i’m sorry you are?”
“i’m Jeno, we’re classmates remember?, i came here to visit you and visit my friend jaemin also-”
“Jaemin? did you just say Jaemin? where is he? is he okay? wait is he here? please tell me it’s just high fever or he works here?”you asked.
“Oh Y/n there you are, let’s eat?” Your mom interprets the conversation, “he’s in room 25, 10th floor meet me there” Jeno said and left.
“So Jeno’s here too?” Your mom asked.
“Yeah he’s supposed to visit me but we met here so he’s off to his friend now” you explained, you were happy to hear that Jaemin’s here but felt guilty after you remembered you suddenly left him at the hill.
After you finished eating with your mom, you told her you’re going to room 25, she still accompanied you there but she just waited outside the room. When you got inside you immediately saw Jaemin sleeping peacefully in his hospital bed with his life support. He’s sleeping, does that mean he’s still in that world? Alone?
There are tears trailing down from your cheeks as you approach his unconscious body, “h-how long has he been like this?” you asked Jeno, he stood beside you and pats your back even though he has no idea how you knew his bestfriend. “3 years, brain infection”
That night you prayed a thousand times, hoping that in your sleep you would return to that world to be with Jaemin again and tell him you love him too. Eventually you got there, to the place where you guys usually hang out but you didn’t met him, you looked around for him but you couldn’t even see his shadow. Or any trails he left behind. He just disappeared like you did before. Morning came, afternoon, evening, a day, and a week. You didn’t woke up. You were trapped in there again.
Kicking a can out of your way as you took a road to god knows where, you lost count on how long you’ve been trapped but it almost felt like a year or more “I wonder if Jaemin already woke up”
“He hasn’t” you turned around and saw a very tall figure of a man wearing black suit, “But he will, just not now. I believe your time is up miss” you took a few steps back away from the man. “Haha very funny, I know you’re just trapped here just like me” you said and started to walk again. “What you call ‘here’ is where lost souls go who still have a chance to live but you don’t, your brain is starting to shut down and the doctors back in the real world are trying to save you with a defibrillator” he explained. You stopped in your tracks. So now you’re dying? you haven’t pretty much done all your goals in life yet.
“I-I’ll go back! I will woke up!”
“Haha we’ll see miss, three days, I will give you three days, if i still spot you wandering around here you have no choice but to come with me” he smirked, he snapped his fingers and poof! he was nowhere to be seen.
•••
“You seriously don’t remember her?”
“No... why? Do I have to?” Jaemin sipped his black coffee.
“I don’t know, it’s just that after she woke up she went to see you, she was crying it’s kinda...unfair”Jeno explained, ever since Jaemin woke up Jeno’s been trying to tell everything about you but it doesn’t ring any bell to him. “Unfair? What? It’s my fault if i can’t remember her? I’ve been asleep for 5 years and so is she, how the hell— argh nevermind” Jaemin face palms himself.
“C’mon Jeno don’t force him to this, he can’t be stressed” Renjun said.
“Yeah yeah right sorry” Jeno apologized.
They all went back to their business, silence filled the room. Renjun and Haechan are focused on their phones, Jeno looking outside the window, and Jaemin drinking his favorite drink. Jaemin was dozing off until a certain memory from his dream played in his mind. He was in an empty grocery store with a girl, everything was clear except her face, her voice was also mute. “I like canned bread, it’s kinda good” Jaemin said out of nowhere.
His friends looked at each other in confusion and back at Jaemin, Haechan scoffs “since when have you eaten canned bread?”
Jaemin’s unable to answer, he swear he have. Jaemin shruggs “Nevermind”.
12:30 pm, Renjun and Haechan already left since they still had school tomorrow. Same as for Jeno, he’s just waiting for Jaemin’s mom to arrive so he could go home, he didn’t want to leave his dear friend alone. The Tv is on shopping channel, the air conditioner was off but it’s still cold. They couldn’t sleep. As Jaemin spaces out, he hears this familiar voice of that girl again, she was singing. It was annoying and relaxing him at the same time, he couldn’t understand why he feels such feeling towards a girl who only lives inside his head or is she really? Her face is still blurry but he can finally hear her voice loud and clear. “Hey little train we are all jumping on..the train that goes to the kingdom...” Jaemin sang quietly.
“Where did you heard that?” Jeno ask.
“Someone... I don’t know” Jaemin replied, Jeno shook his head and puts his attention back to his phone. It keeps happening, Jaemin saying things out of nowhere, facts about him that sounds fake but aren’t , its just that, it didn’t happened in reality. “I used to hear y/n sing that a lot when she still attends school, it’s kinda annoying to hear the same lines over and over again but, her voice is beautiful.” Jeno shared.
silence...
“I want to see her, that girl you keep blabbering about, I want to see her” jaemin said.
“But you’re still not allowed to leave your bed until the doctors said so?”
“Do you think I care? I’ve been in this bed for 5 years it’s time to get up” Jaemin hops down the bed and puts his slippers on, he goes at the door and peeks outside. “There’s no one around let’s go” he says. The hallway was empty and quiet, the nurse who was appointed at the receptionist desk was in deep sleep. It was so easy for the boys to wander around without staffs standing in their way.
There’s no one inside y/n’s room at the moment, she was still unconscious, a nasal cannula place around her nose as it gives her oxygen. “She got hit by car, woke up after 8 months and went to see you, she didn’t woke up again after that” Jeno explains.
Jaemin held your hand, it was cold as ice, i never met you but how come i feel like i already knew you like the back of my hand?
•••
“I can’t decide whether I should take her or not, I’m already late for my given deadline argh” the black suit guy whom you met earlier was watching you from afar kick a vending machine again and again, you weren’t hungry or anything, well you can’t feel any hunger anymore, you’re just an empty lost soul who’s not yet ready to go. “Something is holding her back, like a thin red string attached on her back that trails back to the real world” he rest his head on his palm.
He teleported right in front of you, “it’s only day one what are you doing here?” You ask him.
“Listen missy, I’m just doing my job okay? Just come with me and you’ll be at peac—“ he was cut off when he hears a heartbeat, your heart beat. It was purple and it’s glowing, “what’s happening? What’s happening?!” You shook him.
“Hold on hold on, I’ll get my handbook” he snapped his finger and an old big brown book appeared out of nowhere, he used his powers to flip the pages until it gets to the page he was looking for. He puts his glasses on and reads the text. “Well it seems like your not coming with me anymore, any moment now you’ll come back to the real word BUT you won’t remember everything” he explains.
“Is it temporary? Like after a long time I will regain my memories?”
“I’m afraid not, but at least you’re coming back” the grim reaper hears you sigh,he looks away and flicks your forehead. “ah! what was that for?” you glared at him while rubbing the spot he just flicked. “I did it so you won’t lose your memories, it’s against the rules but it’s my first time doing it so i guess i won’t get fired entirely. Maybe just a few punishments” he shruggs.
“why? why did you cross the line?”
“i want to see how it’s all going to end... don’t worry much kid, i have other back up jobs”
5 days later
“Finally! shit!” You cheered, you’ve lost count on how many tissues you used to remove the ink from your face. 3 minutes before you woke up someone’s kid got inside your ward and drew on your face. Your family was crying and laughing at you at the same time, you were confused at first until your brother handed you a mirror. You dump all the tissues at the trash and went out the bathroom, you were with your brother at the moment because your parents are still at work. 3 more days before you’ll finally be discharge and another 3 days for you to rest at home before going back in action.
You went to the couch where your brother was peacefully sleeping, he’s pretty much also knocked out because of work. You don’t want to disturb him anymore, so you went outside to look around, it’s boring if you just stayed in your room. You found a large garden at the ground floor and went in there, the sunlight is illuminating the whole garden, it just rained a while ago so it looks like there are crystals glued to every plant and flower. All of it shines beautifully. The place looks like those beautiful sceneries in anime’s. Back then at that world everything looks cold, lifeless, almost looks like grey.
You went to the main spot of the garden, the wishing fountain. “Hey little train wait for me.. i was held in chains but now im free” you sang, you stare at your reflection from the water and tucked a strand behind your ear. “I’m hanging in there don’t you see?” out of nowhere, you heard someone whispered the lyrics, you got startled because of it and fell towards the fountain. What if it’s a ghost? You’re in a hospital after all.
“Oh my god i’m so sorry! here let me help you up”
“Good thing i have-- Jaemin?! wait, is that really you?” your eyes widen, you feel your heart beat faster and got goosebumps. He wasn’t wearing a hospital gown anymore, that means he got discharged before you did.
He giggled “why don’t you poke my cheeks again like you did last time?”

Connor couldn’t believe it had happened. Everything flew past so suddenly, motions and actions a blur, shouts numb to his ears, only focused on his partner, his friend, his father figure, going down in front of him.
A normal day on the force gone wrong. The suspect they’d been apprehending had had one last trick up his sleeve. They hadn’t realised he was connected to the red ice ring Hank had taken down all those years ago.
In hindsight, from the way the suspect just… let themselves get arrested, maybe they should have been expecting it.
All too willing to walk with them into the DPD, through the rows of desks, see the perp look towards Hank—Hank look back, notice the concealed weapon he drew, pushing Connor to the ground—
Something warm and sticky was sinking into his clothes, the android noted. But he hadn’t been hit. The blood wasn’t blue, it was red.
“Hank.” He uttered, short word broken, syllables distorted. He pushed the man onto his front, saw the gaping bullet hole in his chest.
“I’m…” The man began to choke out, hand reaching up, trying in vain to comfort. “Okay… son…”
“Hank!”
This time, the Lieutenant didn’t answer.
______________
They carted him off in a stretcher, and left Connor staring at the blood on his hands. If he’d been a human next of kin, maybe they’d have let him go along with him. But the waters surrounding android rights were still murky.
Luckily, it wasn’t long before someone from the force picked him up, made him wash his hands and drove him to the hospital.
Gavin, he noted dully, paying the man no attention on the drive there. He could scan his hands over and over, see them completely clean, but the blood was still there.
But it didn’t happen. Hank was just injured. It happened all the time. They’d stitch him up, Captain Fowler would send him home on bed rest for a few weeks, which he’d bitch and moan about but reluctantly agree to, along with help from Connor and Sumo.
The last time he’d bene injured, however, there hadn’t been so much blood.
Connor blinked, and he was in the waiting room. His LED spun a constant red, but his eyes remained vacant. He tried to push away the facts and figures about blood loss and bullet wounds to the chest that were clogging up his vision.
“He’ll, uh… he’ll be okay.” Connor heard Gavin try to comfort. He looked up with a strange expression on his face.
“No, he won’t.”
Gavin swore under his breath. “Phck. Just… stop looking at me like that, okay? I didn’t realise he meant so much to you before. Look, the doctors are gonna try their best.”
“He was shot in the chest, Gavin.”
He heard a scrape as the man sat on the hard plastic chair beside him.
“I know. Look—Anderson’s a tough guy. He’ll pull through.”
Connor could tell Gavin was trying to help. Maybe seeing his distress, helping him wash Hank’s blood off his hands as he numbly allowed him to do so, changed the man’s view about androids. Maybe he really was starting to care.
But Connor couldn’t care about that right now. And denial wasn’t helping. Sugar-coating the fact that Hank had been shot—shot in the chest—somewhere packed with vital arteries and organs and—
It wasn’t helping. He didn’t want this. Didn’t want Hank hurt, having nothing to do about it—Hank hurt pushing him out of the way of a bullet that had meant to hit him—
He pushed away Gavin’s words, standing abruptly from the chair.
“Just go away.”
“What?”
“I said, go away!” His voice, rarely heard above a calm and collected tone, rose to a shout. “Just go away! I don’t want to talk to you about this, Gavin! Just leave me alone.”
For the better or the worse, there was another dull scrape, before footsteps echoed down the hallway. Barely looking to see where he’d gone, Connor collapsed back into the chair with a sob.
______________
After a while, he was allowed to see Hank. By some miracle, he’d survived, with extensive surgery.
But from the blunt trauma and levels of blood-loss, he’d fallen into a coma.
Connor had sat with him for the full length of visiting hours, only leaving to tend to Sumo back at home.
On the seventh day, where doctors gave him partially hidden pitying glances, he closed the door and sat alone with Hank and his thoughts.
“Maybe I could have saved you.” He whispered, hand grazing over the bedcovers, only briefly glancing at Hank’s still form, save for the mechanical rise and fall of his chest. “You shouldn’t have blocked the bullet, Lieutenant. I could’ve taken it. Or even if I couldn’t—that wasn’t yours to take.”
He pulled his hand back, ghosting it over his chest, where he used to have a tie on at all times to fiddle with and straighten.
“The doctors are saying that it will be lucky if you’ll ever wake up. There’s nothing more they can do. The damage was extreme… and…”
Connor cleared his throat, gently wiping a finger beneath his eyes. “At least you didn’t die. But—if you’re going to, how do I cope with it? You lived with it for years, every day weighing you down, with no one but Sumo to keep you company…
“If you do die, Hank, and leave me here alone—perhaps you taught me all along how to cope with this.”
The heart rate monitor was beeping steadily. But that was the issue- it wasn’t alive, it was just a machine, a machine out of all the machines that were keeping him alive—
That was more than he could have said for himself.
Time merged together. One week became two. Two became four.
Connor sat beside his bed. He’d decided to stop counting the weeks. Debate over whether it was humane to keep Hank on life support was in hushed tones that the android could hear even with the door shut.
There had been one spike of hope, a few weeks ago, that had led to be nothing. Since then, Hank hadn’t deteriorated in condition, but he hadn’t gotten better, either. Nothing had changed. It was simply a state of frustrating limbo, stagnation, the ugly truth hiding around the corner but not yet ready to strike.
Connor couldn’t deny it anymore. He couldn’t bargain, couldn’t change the fates or shout at them—
But he could hope.
Hold onto Hank’s hand, eyes pleading, LED flickering yellow, the skin peeling away from his hand—
Of course the man couldn’t interface, but maybe the change in texture would mean something, maybe if he replayed their happy memories over and over he would finally wake up.
It didn’t work. The skin crawled back over his hand, and he instead took Hank’s hand in his in a firm but gentle grip.
“Please, Lieutenant. You have to wake up. You have to wake up.”
Without knowing it, the last words, all too familiar from the Revolution, rolled off his tongue in the same commanding way. Something beeped on the monitor beside him—his head snapped up, hope flickering in his eyes—
Before being sparked out by the sound returning to normal. Normality, machine-like and regular, nothing changing, everything the same and not realising its error until it is too late—
He held his hand tighter, shaking his head. He’d rose against this deformed normality; he could do it again. If he just tried… harder…
“Wake up. Please.”
With more force and vigour. This time, something was different. That beep, again, and then again, and—
And then it stopped. Not the mechanical regular beat of the monitor—but a high pitched whine, loud and whirring. He cried out, reaching towards it, grabbing at the wires, the ones connecting to Hank’s chest, before everything faded away to black.
When Connor came back to consciousness, something was different. He was… floating. There was a vast blackness surrounding him on all sides.
He pushed through it. There was a pinprick of light, shining out from the far distance. But the darkness was thick and heavy, pushing through it like treacle that was attempting to hold him back.
He couldn’t fail. Something was riding on this. Something… important.
The light was so small, but he could just reach out and touch it with the tip of his finger.
And suddenly, upon that contact, it exploded into a supernova of colours. They burst out around him, a galaxy of whites and blues and reds—
And in the centre, was Hank. Laying ever so still, just as Connor remembered him…
Except, on the hospital bed, there were no more wires, no machines hooked up to him. And his eyes were open.
“Hank!” Connor called out, running up to him. But only a few inches away from the bed, and something stopped him. An invisible wall, some unknown force, denying him that contact.
“Connor.” The man replied. He was smiling, but it looked sad. He swung his legs over the edge of the bed but didn’t look like he was moving to come and greet him.
“How—”
“It’s fuckin’ good to see you, kid.”
Connor laughed breathlessly. “I agree, Lieutenant. But how did you—”
“That doesn’t matter.” He shrugged. “What matters is… how are you?”
The android blinked. “I am doing… inadequately without your companionship, Lieutenant.” He replied, words coming out oddly unfeeling for a moment. He shook his head. “I… I miss you.”
Hank tilted his head. “But- I’m just in hospital, Connor. I’m not dead.”
“You will be soon. The doctors—”
“Screw them, though. Well, they’ve been helping me, sure, but you don’t have to waste time worrying about what they say.”
“Wait, so you’re alright?”
Hank laughed. “No. I might die. But,” he continued on, changing the subject abruptly, “You don’t have to spend time worrying about me. Look, son… you have all your life ahead of you. A pretty long one at that. You have a relationship. Friends. Work. Don’t you just want to—move on?”
Connor blinked, then snapped out of his trance, pushing at the invisible force. “No! No. I… I have all of that, Lieutenant, but I don’t have you. You…”
“Not ready to let go then, yet, huh.” It was less of a question. That same sad smile came back. “I wasn’t either. But—look—”
“No. No, I’m not. And I’m not going to.” Whilst he had a feeling what Hank (or was it Hank?) was saying was important, he had a different sense of urgency about the situation. “You don’t get to go yet. Not now. I need you.”
The force became weaker, the gap between them shortening.
“No, you don’t. You’re a deviant now, Connor. You’re alive. You don’t need me to show you that anymore.”
“But I still need you. You mean a lot to me, Hank. And I’m not losing you.”
He tested on the force again, with one last shove, skin peeling back away, the raw strength of his hands shoving into the wall.
“Connor. Are you sure?”
The only response Hank got was the wall breaking away, and Connor tumbling forwards, straight into his arms—
And with that, the real world came hurtling back into its full colour and shimmer. Something warm was beneath him, but not warm and sticky like Hank’s blood coating his clothes, staining his hands—
No, it was the warmth of his heart beating, really and truly beating this time, and the weak grasp of his arms wrapped around him.
“Hank?” He asked tentatively, eyes still closed.
“…right here, son.” This time, Hank answered.
