A bus may have only a couple of passengers, especially at the beginning or end of its route. But let's also take fuel efficiency into account.

Eleven just said that that he keeps coming back to Amy because she was the first person that face saw, and that she’s “permanently seared on his hearts.” First of all, that’s so incredibly sweet and I absolutely love their relationship.
Second of all it’s a massive “fuck you” to TenRose haters and people who say that Rose was “just another companion.” Even before he regenerated, Rose was something special. She was his first companion after the Time War. She saved him from himself, balanced out his darkest impulses, and helped him get over the death of his entire civilization. I think it’s fair to say that had he not met her, he probably would have died doing something stupidly risky. (In Rose he literally tells her that he might die in the process and seems disturbingly pleased by the idea.) And then she becomes the fucking Time Vortex for him. The whole reason he was regenerating in the first place was because he wanted to save her. She’s the cause of his regeneration, the first face he sees with Ten’s eyes; she becomes a fundamental part of Ten. She is inextricably woven into Ten. And that’s one of the reasons why Ten gets so dark and occasionally suicidal after their separation. He’s lost a part of him. It’s the first time Ten ever has to exist without Rose and he just doesn’t know how. And it’s also part of the reason why he needs to see her again before he regenerates. He can’t go into the next life without seeing the women was his other half in this one.

Your relationships will be richer if you also allow people to love you the way that they love, and not only in the way that you're used to perceiving love. You'll miss out on a lot if you're only looking for it in the same places you're used to giving it.
I love by problem solving, remembering small things that people like and make them happy--like little notes in the margins of our relationships, a silent squeeze on the arm to reach out and connect.
I have a friend who loves by asking if she can send me a recipe for Japanese egg and rice when she knows I'm having a bad time. I have a (cishet) friend who loves by messaging to tell me he's just finished reading He/She/They by Schuyler Bailar. I have a friend who loves by telling me "I love you" openly and as often as possible. Some love by telling you things they won't tell to another living person, some love by going six months without talking but answer in five minutes when you message them at work, and some love by not knowing how to show their love, but never leave you out in the cold when you ask for somewhere to go and a warm fire.
"Love languages" are largely bunk and were made up by a misogynist, but I can tell you that people do love differently and that it matters to learn how.

weird little brain tweak/reframing that helped me out. i Often find that advice that seemingly helps Everyone Else doesn’t make any sense to me, in ways that are hard to describe, and it can be really frustrating. but when i find a way to explain it to myself that finally seems to break through and make it click, it feels really good

Hey wanna hear me stim?
*vocalizes a cacophony of terrors home to the most hellish of places at an ear-piercing pitch that's sure to shred every single one of my vocal cords*
...
Wanna hear me do it again?

fatphobia is so wild. the fact that gaining weight on HRT is always framed as a "negative potential side effect" when it's like a genuinely desirable effect. I feel like half the shit people say about HRT is like "uh oh, you might experience everything you want and get hotter" like heaven forbid, lmao

I love the idea of Astarion's existence giving Wyll a crisis in a "how many monsters could have been rehabilitated and saved if I hadn't killed them first." I love the moral dilemma of meeting a person you would have killed "for the good of the people" only to be brutally reminded that the monster is a person too.
