What an amazing thing when you discover that your parental figure, the man who gave you a purpose, protection and everything you ever wanted and needed, who made you think you were some gift from God, that you were special and unique but that it never really was the case. It’s true it hurt when he discovered why the artist rules existed and why he wasn’t supposed to be drugged or even passing Jacob’s trials. Frederic, that was the name of the first one. A poor man that after discovering how insane John was, got shot while trying to run away. Then Clarissa. A beautiful woman ready to do anything for Joseph, but of course it made an older Faith jealous and after some advices to make her feel less bad about what she saw, the bliss consumed her mind into becoming an angel.
He wasn’t special. And if he didn’t followed orders he could be replaced. Was that the feeling that some Faiths felt before disappearing ?
His growing obsession
He became obsessed by the Seed siblings. What they did, how they acted, they’re tattoos and scars. Everything was in his sketchbooks. They truly were his muses. All of them but the most surprising was The Soldier. This man could be seen as the worst in some ways and Eric was against most of the things he did. Living in his region was horrible and almost sickening. All this violence and blood. This wasn’t for him but still, he found something fascinating in that man. Him, his story and all his scars… all those scars he grew to know the exact number and position. He was fascinated… obsessively. Stockholm syndrome ? Who cares. He saw something in him or at least he thought. He tried his best to climb those walls the man had built for decades till one day… he saw a crack. This night, he saw the man being himself. The sad facade he desperately tried to hide behind his harsh self. He found it interesting and felt like he weirdly had to protect him. He continued to stay near him. Even more than before. After a long time, the man accepted his presence and sometimes even ordered him to stay near. Why would the strongest want to keep this weak pet around ? They sure had a weird bond but no one dared to question it

Sure it wasn’t a big event and it happened pretty late in the story but ending up between a fight and bliss barrels catching fire and projecting him in the lake was enough to shake his brain and burn some skin. Even the Soldier got worried

They saw this day coming but he still feared it more than the collapse. He knew it will happen after hearing the news. He passed hours crying at his legs, begging for him to breathe again after handing him his dog tags. But nothing happened. The man was gone. His protector was gone. What will he do now ? How will he survive ? How this ? How that ?… they had to drag him back to the center where he passed few days going insane. So many feelings storming in his head. Sadness and anger. This growing rage towards the man that promised to protect them all but ended up letting his siblings die one by one. He confronted him few days before the collapse but he was just incoherent
The bunker
Then it happened. The day they all were waiting for. Days. Weeks. Months. Years. Was there other people with him to spend those years or was he alone ? He didn’t knew.? Maybe he ate them like his brain was eating his cells to survive or how his broken feelings were eating his soul. Only the silence of his voice, maybe theirs too. Sometimes the radio cracked or maybe it was only an illusion and his mind tricked him jus like his ? Who knows. This rage and sadness only grew by the years, consuming his self till not remembering how was the world outside or even the face of the one he knew every detail of. His mind was just cracking day after day, month after month he forgot who he was and years after years his mind shattered. He became an animal trapped in those walls under the surface. If one day he would escape this cage, he would hunt and wander like a lost animal without real purpose.

With the announcement of the Ra*bits climax event, fans decide to theorize about the possible meanings behind the MV that we'll discuss today.
A fandom project that has gained popularity, the "Ensemble Stars!! Cookbook" is currently in it's interest check, more information about this project ahead.

Ra*bits Climax Event
The MV for the newest Ra*bits event has been previewed, the song, "Parallel Mazes" happens to contain not only a detailed scenario but also references and winks to the past of the unit, the same way we saw Crazy:B's "Crazy Anthem" go through a similar process.
In a determined part of the video, we're able to see Ra*bits crossing a bridge while looking at their old selves, but the interesting part of it is the poses they make.
A couple of fans decided to discuss these poses trying to find their meaning, to what the conclusions so far have reached two different possibilities.
A user on Twitter ¹ deduced that their poses have to do with them imitating people that have had an important influence for Ra*bits individually, or, people that they look up to.
However, there's also another possibility that people have pointed out, and that is their similarities with Undead and fine.
The argument behind this has to do with the analogy of Heaven and Hell that these two units form.
In any case, both theories have interesting funds, so let us know your opinion about them!

The Ensemble Stars Cookbook
The Ensemble Stars Cookbook is a zine leaded by Posebean, which consists in the recollection of food recipes with an Ensemble Stars theme, the information in their site states:
"Niki's cookbook is an upcoming unofficial cookbook fanzine centered all around cooking!
It will contain art, writing, merch all based off food, and self-made recipes that are specifically themed around various units/idols/groups of Ensemble StarsThe specs of the zine are still up in the air and will be finalized after the interest check has concluded, as well as whether the zine will be for profit, for charity, or both.More detailed information can be found in our Primary Info Doc, as well as application guidelines and contributor expectations.
The goal is to have at least one recipe per unit and one recipe per member of Niki’s kitchen (except for Niki, who should have 2 recipes). There may also be other recipes themed after shuffle units, circles, dorms, other characters in general, specific events, and etc… if all of the goal recipes have been filled.
There will be art pieces to match some of the recipes, as well as stand-alone art pieces with the theme of cooking and food. Kocis: An Introduction
A loyal mirrite who strives not only to protect his master, but learn what it means to believe in others. Will his journey lead to hope or destruction?
Kocis is a major protagonist in a Japanese mobile game called Tales of the Rays. And his character development spans all 4 arcs.
What is a mirrite, you ask? Let us start with Kocis' original form before his human one:
Created from the heart of his master, Ix, this little fella was only around for a few months at best before a world changing event separated him from Ix and forced him to grow up all too quickly.
Kocis carries his master's final wish to protect everyone. With his new human form as his only assurance that Ix is still alive, he tries his best to follow in his footsteps. He holds on to the hope that he will one day save Ix and return to his side.
However, Kocis is not Ix, and he still has much to learn. While he treads the path of a protector and tries to place his faith in others as he was taught, he soon finds that trusting in others - even his own master - is far from simple. His strength may not be enough to protect those he cares about, and calling upon his true power could have catastrophic consequences...
So who is Kocis then? Follow me below the cut for more on his personality and development! (*Warning: casual spoilers through Arc 3, but I'll be leaving out a lot of details and stopping before the final arc, so there's still plenty more to learn about Kocis and the main story!)
While a mirrite is indeed created from a part of their master's heart, they have their own personality, grow, and learn. When Kocis was first created, he was excitable and blunt. This gave the cautious and withdrawn Ix mixed feelings at first, but despite his rowdy nature, Kocis' concern for his master was sincere. He often did his best in his own way to cheer Ix up, and he took Ix's words to heart.
After Ix forcibly overloads his own powers to protect the world from imminent disaster, Ix is locked away, and the surge of power causes Kocis to grow into his human form much earlier than a mirrite would naturally. Losing his beloved master and taking on his burden has a drastic effect on Kocis' personality. The once cheery, informal mirrite is gone, replaced by a serious knight who is polite to a fault.
Kocis reflects on the things he's learned from Ix in their short time together. He begins to imitate everything he can about him. He tries to read books as Ix did and fails, the pages lulling him to sleep every time. He takes Ix's words about trusting others seriously, but ends up blindly putting his faith in others, quickly getting burned. Lost and uncertain, the pure desire to rescue Ix drives him forward.
When Ix is finally able to reach out to Kocis' heart via their connection, they talk for the first time in months. Ix finds relief from his prison of torment by chatting with Kocis, and Kocis' serious front swiftly begins to fall away after hearing from his master again. His speech loosens up, and his rough, easygoing personality starts to show through.
One day, after Ix's salvation, Kocis' true personality will return. The carefree, boisterous phase of his early days may be long gone, but he still wears his heart on his sleeve, with how he's feeling plain as day on his face, particularly when Ix is involved. His blunt honesty makes a comeback.
He can't stop himself from grinning in relief at his master's freedom. Only to start crying moments later from the same joy. He's not afraid to give Ix a hug when he's happy for him. Later, Kocis is the only one to truly get angry at Ix for not taking care of himself.
Kocis is the polar opposite of Ix's smarts. He excels more at fighting than thinking things over or studying. His explanations of complicated matters turn into nutshell summaries.
Though Ix is freed, many problems still remain. The damage has been done to Kocis' doubts. A mirrite is also always tied to to their master's heart and to some degree can understand what they're feeling.
So when Ix soon starts to fall apart from stress, despite Kocis' best efforts, he too begins to unravel. While he supports his master wholeheartedly throughout his time of distress, Kocis' own doubts slowly grow and tear him apart from within.
Unable to find strength through believing in himself or others, Kocis starts to turn to an obsession with getting stronger. He becomes convinced it is the only way to stay by his master's side and keep the dangerous power he contains from harming those he cares about.
By the time Ix is back on his feet and ready to be honest with Kocis, it will be far too late...

This weekend’s MCU developments, fresh out of Comic-Con and on DEADPOOL & WOLVERINE's massive opening weekend, seem to indicate that Disney's trying to make the year 2026 - as I've mentioned before - into their proverbial next 2019.
A repeat of a year where they just dominated with billion dollar smashes, with few valleys in-between... They made *bank* with CAPTAIN MARVEL, AVENGERS: ENDGAME, ALADDIN, TOY STORY 4, THE LION KING, FROZEN II, and STAR WARS: THE RISE OF SKYWALKER.
Of course, that was a rare occasion where the planets pretty much aligned for them... CAPTAIN MARVEL directly preceded ENDGAME, and of course ENDGAME was the big climax to the entire "Infinity Saga" of the MCU: Three phases, 11 years of movies, all down to that one big battle. ALADDIN and LION KING were remakes of some of Disney's most iconic and beloved animated films. TOY STORY 4, following up the huge smash that was TOY STORY 3 by almost a decade, almost as long of a wait between 2 & 3. FROZEN II, sequel to their animated phenomenon. RISE OF SKYWALKER was the end of the entire Skywalker Saga, 9 movies across five decades...
I think they keep wanting to recreate that, even though the 2020s are a much different time from this past decade, and some of those "brands" are now kinda stale...
So they revealed at Comic-Con that AVENGERS 5 has dropped the Kang stuff altogether, the Russo Brothers have returned to direct (along with SECRET WARS, arriving 2027), Dr. Doom is now the main villain and is played by none other than Robert Downey Jr., and it's called AVENGERS: DOOMSDAY. A lot of fans, from what I understand, are very mixed on this. Some feel it's desperation at this point, after their Kang/multiverse plans for phases 4-6 just didn't seem to pan out, and arguably weren't planned too well in advance - Majors accusations or no Majors accusations. So, go to an iconic villain who has been portrayed in live-action before, and get the beloved actor who played Tony Stark to make his grand return as this all-time Marvel villain that could very well be a thinly-written portrayal that strips the character of what makes him compelling and richly-written in the comics... Maybe, we don't know, the movie's far from being done... But the announcement definitely caught me off guard.
But yeah, add that to 2026... A year with, tentatively, two new STAR WARS movies: THE MANDALORIAN & GROGU, and an untitled movie about Rey 15 years after the events of RISE OF SKYWALKER. Familiar faces. Also TOY STORY 5. And a live-action remake of the beloved MOANA... Though, somewhat differentiating 2026 from 2019 is the possibility of new original movies from the two animation studios: A Pixar in the spring, and a WDAS in the autumn. In 2019, both studios only offered up sequels. There are a couple other slots Disney has for 2026 as well, which will likely go to some 20th Century/Searchlight movies. 2019 was when Disney finished their acquisition of 20th Century, and... The line-up that year was either movies they didn't give a damn about, or just didn't cut it. That was the year of... DARK PHOENIX, STUBER, THE ART OF RACING IN THE RAIN... Movies that didn't get greenlit under Disney's watch, but these 2026 movies will be, so maybe those will do better for them.
So yes, I can kinda tell that Iger's Disney is still chasing that 2019 high. Surefire hits based on old favorites, but I think in the case of the MCU, it really isn't - say - 2017 anymore. Announce both DOOMSDAY and SECRET WARS back then, and the roof is blown off the joint. But we're in 2024 now, and while Deadpool teaming up with Hugh Jackman's iconic go as Wolverine is expectedly doing amazing business, Captain Marvel joining forces with Ms. Marvel and Rambeau (two characters largely established in two Disney+ shows) did horribly, as did a third Ant-Man movie. CAPTAIN AMERICA 4 without Chris Evans, this THUNDERBOLTS* thing, and another go at Marvel's First Family could reverse this, maybe not... Tellingly, BLADE - still ostensibly scheduled for November of next year - didn't get a mention at all during the presentation. We know it has been held up, that they just can't seem to crack what was already done w/o pools full of Disney money back in the 1990s... Maybe it goes to show that something as neat as Blade falls apart when you try to force it into the fractured framework of the MCU. BLADE would've had a much easier time, I feel, if it were being developed during the first two phases w/o Ike Perlmutter around.
I guess at this point, it either opens in fall 2026 after DOOMSDAY releases, or it'll debut after SECRET WARS. I don't know anymore. The MCU was certainly imperfect from the word-go, but the character interactions and dynamics, the fun soap opera-like tricks, and often memorable moments got us through the big tangle of it all. The novelty of this big cinematic universe with all these characters from multiple movies crossing over was just such a real novelty circa 2010-2019, it was done on a scale that no one really saw beforehand. But that has now worn off, what with many of the OGs having died or left. It's not too late to reinvent it, and go a new direction after SECRET WARS. One that doesn't recreate what came before.
I think audiences have gravitated towards that kind of superhero movie now... The likes of the SPIDER-VERSE movies, THE BATMAN, etc. Both a handful of recent MCUs and the last of the old DC movie-verse films largely got rejected, so the tricks of the 2010s no longer work. It's about personal stakes and distinct style and a vision now. Unless it's a pre-established portrayal of a character that audiences love (like Ryan Reynolds' Deadpool and Jackman's Wolverine), you gotta be more than just a garden variety CG spectacle. It's why I'm curious as to how James Gunn and Peter Safran will launch the live-action end of their new DC Universe. Do SUPERMAN, SUPERGIRL: WOMAN OF TOMORROW, THE AUTHORITY, BRAVE AND THE BOLD, etc. all stand out on their own? Or do they feel like episodes with little to no visual/storytelling differences?
Either Marvel Studios are onto something, or this is some last-ditch attempt to drum up a lot of interest again and make the end of Phase 5 and all of Phase 6 flop-less. Less MARVELS, more GUARDIANS/DEADPOOL 3-sized stuff.
What caught **my** interest the most were the details revealed about their new Fantastic Four film, now titled THE FANTASTIC 4: FIRST STEPS. Continuing their little way of differentiating their movies from the adaptations that came before. Fantastic Four already had two* iterations (*not counting the unreleased 1994 Roger Corman film), the 2005 movie was called FANTASTIC FOUR, as was the 2015 movie, though everyone calls it FANT4STIC. This tells you it's the Marvel Studios MCU F4 movie! Just like how their Hulk movie was THE INCREDIBLE HULK, five years after the release of the 2003 movie HULK. And how their first Spider-Man solo movie added the subtitle HOMECOMING. Also, it's like we get an F4 every 10 years now. The Tim Story-directed movie with Chris Evans in 2005, the next version in 2015, and now this version. Next year. 2025.
It had been teased that this film would have a more '60s flavor to it, which always made sense, given that the Fantastic Four debuted in the early 1960s and directly correlated with space age exploration. The setting of this film is described as a sort-of '60s retro future, and the first look at it certainly confirms it... And what's more, Michael Giacchino is doing the score.
This is literally THE INCREDIBLES!
I remember for many years, some people joked that they didn't need to make a "good" Fantastic Four movie. One already existed: THE INCREDIBLES. And of course, THE INCREDIBLES is highly inspired by the same space age aesthetics that inform the original F4 comics and most superhero/sci-fi stuff of that era. They both have stretchy and invisible characters. And Giacchino did the score for that film. Brad Bird grew up during that period, and it's all over his animated classic. Tim Story's FANTASTIC FOUR was in post-production when THE INCREDIBLES came out, and he had made changes to his movie, fearing similarities that were always inevitable.
So maybe this 2025 movie, part of the MCU, finally works. That Marvel's First Family finally works as a live-action movie, and can stand on its own in a world where an amazing animated equivalent exists. Matt Shakman directs, who helmed WANDAVISION, which had three episodes heavily patterned after sitcoms made in the '50s, '60s, and '70s, so maybe I'll quite like this movie. It's the one future MCU movie, outside of BLADE, that actually has my interest.

Article 1170. Those who in the performance of their obligations are guilty of fraud, negligence, or delay, and those who in any manner contravene the tenor thereof, are liable for damages. (1101)
Article 1170 contemplates of four instances where an irregularity in the performance of an obligation occurs and when one is found guilty of, he is to be held liable for damages.
These instances are the following:
1) Fraud – the deliberate and intentional evasion of the normal fulfillment of obligations or what is called dolo incidente.
It implies some kind of malice or dishonesty and is synonymous to bad faith in that it involves a design to mislead or deceive another.
Example:
S obliged himself to deliver to B 20 bottles of wine, of a particular brand. Subsequently, S delivered 20 bottles knowing that they contain cheaper wine. S is guilty of fraud and is liable for damages to B.
2) Negligence – It is any voluntary act or omission, there being no bad faith or malice, which prevents the normal fulfillment of an obligation.
Example:
P is a passenger in a taxi. Here, there is considered a contract of carriage between P and the owner of the taxi company. In consideration of the fare to be paid by P, the owner of the taxi company, through the driver, agrees to safely bring P to his destination.
If, through the recklessness of the driver, as a result of which P is injured, there is negligence which would make the owner liable for damages. If the taxi contained defective parts, the failure to repair the same constitutes also negligence on the part of the owner.
3) Delay – a kind of voluntary breach of an obligation, signifies the idea of delay in the fulfillment of an obligation with respect to time.
Requisites:
a. Obligation must be demandable and already liquidated;
b. The debtor delays performance; and
c. The creditor requires performance judicially or extra judicially.
Delay as breach of obligation is discussed fully in the provisions of Article 1169.
4) Contravention of the terms of the obligation - This is the violation of the terms and conditions stipulated in the obligation. The contravention must not be due to a fortuitous event or force majeure.
Example:
E leased the apartment of R for P10,000 a month to be paid in advance during the first week of every month. The obligation of E, as lessee, is to pay the stipulated rent. The obligation of R, as lessor, is to maintain E in the peaceful possession of the apartment leased.
If E violates his obligation, R is entitled to eject him from the premise and recover damages. If R does not maintain E in the peaceful possession of the apartment and E is ejected, R may be held liable for damages for violation of the terms of his obligation.
The measure of damages to be awarded to E or to R, as the case may be, is left to the sound discretion of the court in accordance with the provisions of the Civil Code on Damages.

FACTS:
ECI and NAWASA executed a contract where ECI is to furnish all tools, labor, equipment, and construct the proposed 2nd lpo-Bicti Tunnel at Norzagaray, Bulacan, and to complete said works within eight hundred (800) calendar days from the date of the formal notice to proceed.
By September 1967, ECI had completed the first major phase of the work. As soon as the work at the Bicti site was finished, all the equipment no longer needed there were transferred to the Ipo site where some projects were yet to be completed.
When typhoon 'Welming' hit Central Luzon on November 4,1967, strong winds struck the project area, and heavy rains intermittently fell. Due to the heavy downpour, the water in the reservoir of the Angat Dam reached the danger height. To prevent an overflow of water from the dam, NPC caused the opening of the spillway gates.
The appellate court sustained the findings of the trial court that due to the negligent manner with which the spillway gates of the Angat Dam were opened, an extraordinary large volume of water rushed out of the gates, and hit the installations and construction works of ECI at the lpo site with terrific impact, resulting to either wash away or destroy ECI’s stockpile of materials and supplies, camp facilities and permanent structures and accessories.
ISSUE:
Whether or not the destruction and loss of the ECI's equipment and facilities were due to force majeure.
HELD:
SC found that NPC was undoubtedly negligent because it opened the spillway gates of the Angat Dam only at the height of typhoon "Welming" when it knew very well that it was safer to have opened the same gradually and earlier, as it was also undeniable that NPC knew of the coming typhoon at least four days before it actually struck. And even though the typhoon was an act of God or what we may call force majeure, NPC cannot escape liability because its negligence was the proximate cause of the loss and damage.
To be exempt from liability for loss because of an act of God, he must be free from any previous negligence or misconduct by which the loss or damage may have been occasioned.
The decision appealed from is AFFIRMED.

FACTS:
Spouses Monesets executed a Contract to Sell House and Lot in favor of petitioner Ursal for 130k. Petitioner paid the downpayment of 50k and took possession of the property. However, after paying six monthly installments, petitioner stopped paying due to the Moneset’s failure to deliver the TCT of the property as per their agreement. Unknown to petitioner, the Monesets executed an absolute deed of sale in favor of Dr. Canora over the same property. Almost a year later, the Monesets executed another sale, this time with pacto de retro with a certain Bundalo who executed a real estate mortgage over the said property with respondent bank Rural Bank of Larena. When petitioner Ursal found out about this, she filed an action for declaration of non- effectivity of mortgage and damages against the Monesets. She claimed that they acted in bad faith in mortgaging the property she earlier bought from the Monesets. The trial court ruled that there was fraud on the part of the Monesets for executing multiple sales contracts. The Monesets were ordered to reimburse Ursal plus to pay damages and fees. Ursal was not satisfied as she believed that the bank was also at fault. On appeal, the CA affirmed the RTC decision in toto. Hence, this petition.
ISSUE: Whether or not Ursal is the absolute owner of the house and lot in question
HELD:
No, the petitioner never acquired ownership over the property and her rights were limited to demand for specific performance from the Monesets. In this case, the parties specified in their agreement that the vendor shall only execute a deed of absolute sale on the date of the final payment by vendee. Such provision signifies that the parties truly intended their contract to be that of contract to sell. Prior to the existence of the contract of sale, the seller is not obligated to transfer the ownership to the buyer, even if there is a contract to sell between them. The vendors’ breach of the contract, notwithstanding, ownership still remained with the Monesets and petitioner cannot justify her failure to complete the payment. Petitioner had lost her right to demand specific performance when the Monesets executed a Deed of Absolute Sale in favor of Dr. Canora. Contrary to what she claims, petitioner had no vested right over the property. The petition is DENIED.
