Lokius Rapunzel Au??

au ? fic idea ?? (idk if this has been done before but oh well..)

where outlaw mobius breaks into the palace of asgard to steal the crown of asgard but instead gets caught by guards and whilst escaping finds himself hidden in Loki, the youngest royal child of asgard's (Prince/princess/neither whichever) bedroom.

Mobius finds this extremely interesting as Odin keeps loki hidden away and loki is not allowed to leave the palace. (Odin keeps loki hidden away so loki wont find out about their frost giant heritage and because of Odin's own secret plans of using Loki and his heritage for his own gain).

Loki promises to hide Mobius and give him the crown if Mobius helps him escape and promises to take him on an adventure across all the stars and galaxies. Mobius is enchanted by Loki and agrees because well a hot prince plus the crown equals a very happy mobius.

mobius plans on taking Loki to Jotunheim as in his mind if he starts with the most horrific place he can think of maybe Loki will change their mind about wanting to adventure the universe and give in after seeing the monstrous frost giants they've all been told stories about since childhood.

But when they manage to sneak to Jotunheim they find its not horrible as they had been told and that it and its people are actually rather beautiful and accepting. Like a frozen wonderland filled with magic and pretty stuff.

They learn about the stolen child who was taken whilst the King and Queen of the frost giant's slept. They notice how at times Loki's skin will turn shades of blue but will immediately turn back, almost as if there is something blocking it from showing. (Odin's magic). Mobius notices just how much Loki looks like the portrait of the stolen baby.

However, before they can confront this Odin has marched an army to Jotunheim in search of Loki. Mobius hides the both of them in a cave and they spend the night cuddling and sleep together (this isnt no dis nee rapunzel). The whole trip they've been flirty with each other and caring for each other. Saving each other from potential deaths and looking out for the other. Mobius understands Loki's need for mischief and having fun. He helps Loki learn how to live after being trapped in the palace all his life. They connect.

Loki wakes to Odin finding them. some of the guards are holding down mobius whilst one has a dagger pointed at him. Loki agrees to go along on the promise mobius is not harmed. Odin agrees but once he has Loki in his arms he nods to one of the guards and they kill Mobius. However, what they don't know is that Loki knew Odin had no kindness and would not spare Mobius and so the mobius that was dead was simply a glamour. (Idk why he couldn't have made himself into a glamour too, so odin would take back the glamour instead of him okay this is my au so let's just say he can only do one glamour at a time or something).

Mobius breaks into the Jotunheim palace and tells Laufey everything and they storm Asgard to go rescue Loki. It ends with Mobius rescuing Loki and them having a very hot i missed you and you're my everything type of kiss. And with Laufey killing Odin and coming into a truce with Thor as the new King of asgard where there would be no war between them as it ended with the death of Odin and Loki would be returned home.

And theres a nice little mobius and loki wedding at the end because idc if they've only known each other for a few days they're soulmates 🤡
