For just a brief moment, Thomas thought he was finally going home. He was exhausted and overworked, but he couldnt waste a second before he sprinted through the hole in the stone wall that was currently under repair..

But, in his excitement, he didn't hear Hurricane pelting after him until he was already pinned to the ground, winded and now bruised no doubt. He thought they were gone with deliveries, guess they got back early.

Hurricane panted after restraining him, then lowered his head so the young wolf could hear him...

I’ve been under the weather the last couple of months. Some of it is family related, other is work. Hopefully things will get better in the near future, but I’ve just felt so drained from working odd hours and other things, it’s been hindering me from doing what I love, and that’s to create and draw.

Thankfully, I have a few WIPS that are close to being finished, and I hope that I can get them finished up soon to post!

He’s a little different, but that’s because of his livery. He has this because during his 100th anniversary, he was given a forest green livery. He likes the livery so much he decided to keep instead of going back to his NWR Standard Green.

Human Time Line AU: James and his Bright Red Coat

James has a sad backstory that I had planned for him.

Which is basically 'what if he came from a timeline that was post-apocalyptic where being grimy all the time wasn't an option, it was just a fact of life'.

When he gets onto a Time Line he finally gets actual pay and is thus able to actually buy luxury items. The first thing that he sees and immediately buys is a bright red coat. That's why he gushes about it nonstop.

Everyone else thinks he's being incredibly vain about it. Which, they're not wrong. They just don't know the full context because he refuses to tell anyone else about where he came from. He prefers the lie he tells about everyone living lavishly but him standing out most of all.

He’s going to get his own little character arc where he has one day where the universe is seemingly out to get him in trying to dirty his coat. And he's doing all types of things to avoid that, including selfish things that end up annoying everyone else.

And then he finds a grubby, injured child at one of the stations. Possibly when he's in his original timeline. And there's a hesitance, then a disgust at the hesitance, and then finally he's picking up the child, getting blood and grime on him, and rushing to the nearest medic.

He can put aside his vanity when it matters most.

Guess who's on a Journey Beyond Sodor kick!? And it's enough to get me to draw something! Yaaaaaaaaasssssss

I've drawn Hurricane and Frankie, whom are a panther and a lynx respectively, and it's mostly because I wanna draw some scenes from my AU version of the movie.

The Steelworks work attire is mostly made of a steel cover that's meant to protect the majority of the body. They still have to use caution especially since the head and limbs are uncovered. The fabric around their legs is made of a material that's heat resistant, since they use their paws often.

Injuries are common place, though Hurricane and Frankie are lucky to get very minor ones, because yes, scarring is still minor. They love their job but it's still undeniably dangerous...

very rough gordon design draft... i couldnt figure out how to draw his face, while making him look like gordon, but hey at least i tried idk lol ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

colours on his outfit was a bit tricky, might change it when i fully do his ref. thats pretty much it, i have henry to do next but i already have a draft of his design (havent posted here yet) so im close to completing the steam team at least (✿◠‿◠)
