im assuming they would have to be mixed with other regular ingredients to prevent the hunger but it sounds like ppl would use them as the main component in a dish or just eat them by themselves

So does all of it get digested? No leftovers (waste) comes out the other end im guessing? is it like a magic type thing?? it has to be right? Cause if not...ur body will take the calories needed to replace the ones burnt, take the nutrients, and the rest will just get tossed out

🍎 [RED APPLE] Who does your OC value above all else?

Would it be cheating to say Meneldir? Everyone already knows that! So let’s say post Sarch Vorn… hmmm, that’s a tough one, he’s very close to a lot of people. 

There’s his older cousin and last living family member/sort-of almost father figure Bragadir, who stepped in to help raise Tossdir after both of his parents died tragically and Babyranger-Meneldir was still unequipped to care for his kid brother. Bregs says he’s not the best at it, but he’s Trying His Best and cares SO much about lil Toss ;-;

Then there’s Galasebdir and Gorwen, who provided much needed support after he lost everything in Sarch Vorn, and did everything in their power to help him feel welcome among the rangers again after his long absence. The ones who so adamantly tried to show Tossdir that he wasn’t alone during one of the most painful times in his life, and were probably the first rangers he befriended and truly felt like he belonged with after being away for so long.

And then of course there’s his best friends and traveling companions, Etheids and Corunir! The ones who would go to hell and back with him, the ones who always have his back in and out of combat! Ethedis always being there with encouraging words and an infectious smile, Corunir who seems to have a much deeper understanding of what he’s been through than most others.

If I had to pick one to say he values the most though, I would say Bregadir but it’s Close. All of these people are very very important to him, but he has known Bregadir for the longest.

🥕 [CARROT] How tough is your OC against certain situations? How weak are they against others?

In tests of physical fortitude Tossdir is incredibly tough, he can take beating after beating and get right back up to fight afterwards (even when he really should stay down so he doesn't die oops)

However when it comes to tests of mental fortitude, (like the Nazgul’s dread/black breath, the Grey Fear’s bodysnatching, and whatever the heck is going on with Saruman) he’s… well I wouldn’t call him weak by any means, but he’s really ill equipped to fight against these things. I think that most powers of The Enemy are generally more potent against people who are experiencing a lot of grief or don’t have much hope, and unfortunately for Tossdir that puts him at a pretty severe disadvantage, and he can’t hold out as long as other Dunedain might be able to.

🥭 [MANGO] What colours best represent them and why? Does this differ from their favourites?

I generally associate Tossdir with red, browns, and green (in that order). The meaning behind red is pretty clear I think, it’s a color that’s strongly associated with Meneldir and is most prominent on Tossdir’s scarf that originally belonged to him. I also think red is Tossdir’s favorite color as well, it looks good on him and matches his hair.

As for the browns and greens, I just think they offered a nice contrast to all the reds and they’re also very ranger-y colors in my mind (and strikingly absent from Meneldir’s design, save for the pale grey-green in his eyes)

🥒 [CUCUMBER] How innocent are they (unaware to the bad happenings around them)?

Around the start of the epic line? Very! She’s been Elrond’s apprentice in Rivendell for a very long time before this, and the trip to Ered Luin was really her First Big Outing and real exposure to the danger of the world. Before that she was kinda sheltered. That’s not to say Elrond didn’t try to prepare her for the dangers outside of Rivendell, but hearing about something is a lot different from seeing it firsthand y’know? 

Like she knows things are dangerous out here, but it takes a little bit for it to really sink in for her. I think she gets a very rude awakening when she can’t save Amdir. Up until that point she had at least been able to save people, like the sick dwarves in Ered Luin and Prince Avorthal. There was very real danger but everyone was more or less ok in the end, unlike here in Breeland, where Ethedis’ first ranger friend Amdir dies horribly and she really can’t save anyone. Not Amdir, not the other rangers, no one.

[EGGPLANT] How are they used by others? How easily are they tricked into this?

Y’know surprisingly she’s not used by people all that much. Despite the fact that I write her as very friendly and trusting, I don’t often put her in situations where people take advantage of that. I think that’s just because it’s something I personally wouldn’t like to see happen to her I guess. I mean there’s the Sara Oakheart thing of course, but besides that she generally has someone (usually Coruinr) watching out for her, so her trusting nature usually isn’t taken advantage of (even though by all accounts it probably should be)

🧅 [ONION] What is surefire to make your OC cry? Who knows of this information?

It’s very hard to make her cry. She’s an expert at burying her emotions when she starts to get upset, by necessity rather than choice. Anytime a topic that really strikes a nerve is brought up, she just gets stone faced and shows no outward reaction; save for being even quieter than usual.

The only time she can cry is when she really, truly, lets her guard down. So far Celeair is the only person she’s ever been able to cry in front of. As for a surefire way to get her to cry, I would say if you somehow managed to get her talking about her childhood. She remembers very little of it, but she knows enough for it to be incredibly traumatic. I don’t really want to go into too much detail about that, but suffice to say, it was pretty bad.

🥦 [BROCCOLI] What do they hate about humanity/their species?

Margim doesn't consider herself to be a Black-Numenorean, but thanks to her appearance she’ll never be able to escape having an association with them. Yellow eyes and blackened blood are kinda hard to look past after all, especially if you know what those traits mean. There’s a lot of reasons to hate Black-Numenoreans, but I don’t feel like most of them apply here just because Margim would never call herself one. 

The title of Black-Numenorean is given to those who choose to serve Sauron after all, and Margim never willingly did so, but unfortunately she still got stuck with the marks denoting her as one who has. And those marks are what she hates the most, a constant, inescapable, reminder of where she came from and the evil that is tied to it.

UNGRAKOR 100%. BITING KILLING MAIMING 

Even though Margim will likely never know that he’s actually her biological father, she would hate his guts anyway. He’s the Captain of the Pit, the one who oversees Udun and is both directly and indirectly responsible for all the horrible shit that goes on there, she has every reason to hate him! 

I mean don’t get me wrong, she’s terrified of him, he’s got a reputation and she’s well aware of the things he’s capable of, but I think that fear could turn into bloodlust reaaaal quick if she got pushed in the right direction.

🍑 [PEACH] How do they show their kindness? How kind are they truly?

*slaps top of Celeair (gently)* THIS BAD BOY CAN FIT SO MUCH KINDNESS IN THAT MASSIVE HEART OF HIS.

I think his kindness most often manifests as just gentleness. Not just when he’s tending to someone’s injuries, but also how he’ll always be ready to offer his shoulder to cry on and softly speak words of comfort and encouragement. His kindness is quiet and soft like a warm blanket, always there when you need it.

He’s also the kind of guy who will gift people random trinkets that make him think of them. Margim offhandedly mentions that dandelions are her favorite flower? Well guess he’s always going to stop and pick her some whenever he comes across a patch of them! You say blue is your favorite color? Well now he wants you to have this neat blue feather from one of his bird friends! he just likes to give people little things he finds, a lil reminder that he's thinking of them :>

He’s just a simple guy who wants to heal people and talk to trees. Sure, maybe he could learn to blast fire out of his hands or call down lightning upon his foes, but why would he? At the end of the day he’s a pacifist who wants nothing more than to ease the hurts of those around him and cuddle with his cool wife. Truly, the kind of guy we should all aspire to be. He is quite content to be out here living the cottagecore dream

Jujutsu Kaisen Second Years Headcanons

• Inumaki can either binge watch YouTube or an entire anime for the entire night and run on 10 minutes of sleep, one carton of strawberry milk and be ready to challenge God on a pokèmon match, or need his 8 hours of beauty sleep and if someone dares to wake him before 10, they're just not coming back alive, sorry;

• On this account, the rest of the second years play rock, paper, scissors every day to decide who's gonna be the victim the one waking inumaki up;

• Side note, the first time it happened, Maki was 100% done already and thought they were just being stupid, she made the grave mistake of just barging into inumaki's room unannounced and girl came back traumatized. From that day on, rock, paper, scissors moments are taken very seriously;

• They all collectively share one braincell, they are super reliable on their own, but put even two of them together and see the braincell disappear. It's also twice as bad if inumaki is involved. Man can turn reliable senpai okkotsu into a menace (and it's megumi's biggest nightmare tbh);

• However, it's three times as bad if it's yuuta and inumaki with maneater!reader, nobody knows how their sense of responsibility all completely vanishes, but it does, and then you get OP children roaming free, and they're not just ready to fight God, but to become him;

• Maki is probably the most responsible one of the bunch (arguably, it would actually be yuuta or reader, but man is too tired and most of the times too soft, and reader just doesn't give a fuck);

• However, the roles quickly reverse when maki isn't taking good care of herself (which is often, cause girl is just that stubborn and focused on training) and then she'll turn into the whiniest baby and yuuta and reader become literally her parents,,, example;

• "Maki, eat your veggies" "Not doing that, they taste like fucking grass, I'm not a cow" "... Alright then, good luck finding your junk food in the cabinet then" cue maki begrudgingly eating her veggies because she knows better than to try yuuta and reader;

• Also girl will literally forget to drink water and even when she does drink, it's always energy drinks or sodas, and it's an unspoken agreement between second years to switch out her water bottles (filled with soda) with one that actually contains water;

• We all know that Panda and Inumaki are a dangerous duo, but have you considered Panda and reader?? The two of them are unarguably the two smartest students at Jujutsu High, and you know what they also are? Completely merciless. They will play mind games on you for fun and laugh at you if you cry;

• Yuuta is reader's bestfriend, and inumaki is a close call too, but if asked reader will always say that maki is their bestfriend because it makes the other two sulk adorably. Maki will then proceed to say that her favourite though is Panda, which will make reader just look at her with the most betrayed and affronted pout on their face, and tbh it's a sight too rare to pass up. Really though, they're all each other's bestfriend, the second years are a super tight group and consider each other family;

• During their first year, reader was the tallest of the bunch (aside from Panda), but after Yuuta comes back from his year overseas, he grew to be almost as tall as Gojo and reader legitimately didn't speak to him for two days cause they were a n g r y. Please, inumaki had so much fun seeing reader so frustrated sksksks. But poor yuuta genuinely thought they were angry at him (don't worry though, they quickly made up, reader couldn't stay away from yuuta if they fucking tried to);

• Now though, reader always walks on their tip toes around him or wears platform shoes and yuuta finds it so fucking precious, but please don't tell reader or he'll get bOnKeD;

• Reader, Inumaki and Panda have anime nights together in toge's room (man has the biggest room out of everyone too) yuuta will come at 3 am to tell them to go to sleep but he ends up joining, maki yells at them but ends up joining too;

• Maki is the most obnoxious cuddler when sleepy or tired (she will deny it tho, so don't bring it up unless you wanna get smackedd) and she will cling onto reader like her life depends on it because reader gives her head scratches and plays with her hair (pliz, maki and reader are so soft for each other);

• Yuuta and reader unconsciously hold pinkies when they are out in a crowd because they both have social anxiety and find lots of comfort in each other;

• Inumaki and reader always go to the convenience store together to get snacks at like 1 am, most of the times they successfully drag along maki too with the promise of junk food, and then they get lost in the ailes having a competition about who finds the weirdest flavour of chips or smth;

• When yuuta is overseas, the rest of the second years videocall him every night (or every week, depending on how long his missions are) it's the most chaotic calls too and it makes yuuta laugh so hard.

I honestly have sooo many more of these,,, I just love the second years too much--

I’m happy with BAs having a whole meltdown for the BH memories and VA kiss (courtesy of Betty). They’re timeline is off. They didn’t have a baby, they hasn’t had a love confession even when there has been plenty of opportunities for one already and the engagement party is probably not even BAs but Tangs (ew). All they have now is riding the Tabitha wave and being offended in her behalf because they don’t want to acknowledge that those memories were Betty’s surface ones. Jughead saw their first kiss and that conversation when he did what Archie should’ve done (comforting her instated of making it about himself) memories because those are in the very core that is Betty. They know Jughead reminding the love story he had with Betty (is that’s even the right Jughead because I believe in the cross over theory), they’re in danger. They also know Archie being the only one that can now interact safety with Veronica means something. They know this connecting story lines with the OG couples are going to something and I’m sure Toni will develop powers that connect to Cheryl’s soon. And the theory of this whole thing being another universe is getting more and more accurate by the day. The theory of theses versions of them being from another universe are getting very real really fast and they know it.

All they have now is making the theories about Lili and Cole not wanting to film together when they know the break up sex scene, Jughead’s dream and 605 were all filmed when they were broken up. They would rather make Lili look unprofessional because they also hate Lili. They used to call her all type of things when she would say her preferences on interviews. They’re using the Lili/Cole break up for their own benefit when they are not the first and only actors that have broken up off screen that have to do romantic scenes (Nina and Ian from TVD. Katie and Joshua from Dawson’s Creek). Even Camila and Charles have broken up.

I am smiling because the story line is going exactly where I theorized it would. BH having to remember Vale to save the universe again is going to come up. I don’t feed myself of delusions, i watch the WHOLE episode not only scenes on YouTube and I don’t trust biased reviewers/writers that have not true input on the finishing product. BAs excuse when they feel threatened is going for Lili/Cole and projecting things onto Lili who’s a profesional actress. They’re losing it.

Also the cuddling during prom was when they'd broken up. Strangely, they seem to have no comments about Veggie, tho it was all filmed after Camila and Charles had broken up. Odd that the theory doesn't apply to them.....

In any case, they're professional actors, who probably have less trouble separating their personal lives from their jobs than some BA fans....

Episode 12 - The Little Mermaid

Let’s Talk About JSHK Anime #3

Warning: Manga spoilers for The Little Mermaid arc, The Clock Keeper arc, and chapter 64!!! (just a bit, skip point no. 5, 6, and 10 if you don’t want to get spoiled) Also … this ended up way longer than I intended.

Well that was one heck of a feels trip. It’s probably my new favorite episode, just because everyone is here being wholesome lmao.

This is mostly hananene meta I ain’t even gonna lie.

Before we begin, shout out to Black Canyon, our newest anime cutie pie. Just look at him, folks. Just chilling with his sunflower seed.

He has no idea the kind of life his owner leads.

I said before that the best part of episode 12 is how it made Daydream worse, so now I’m gonna ramble about it.

“Maybe different species can’t understand each other after all.”

“Maybe it would be better if I were an apparition too.”

This is my favorite part of the episode. And no, not in the sense that I want Nene to die just so that she and Hanako can be together. But because of how Lerche actually explored deeper what was said only once in the manga.

Well, both in the manga and anime Nene ended up accepting the mermaid’s blood because of her desire to be popular, but the anime decided to revisit what she said earlier in the episode.

Not only did that make her decision kinda less selfish, it’s also just … sad. Thinking that your friend, someone you really cared about, doesn’t trust you enough to tell you things about themselves, to the point where you’re willing to go to such lengths as turning into an apparition just to understand them.

And if you think about it, isn’t this part of her true wish? To have her feelings be reciprocated? Man I just realized that as I wrote this and I am mindblown.

She thought she finally got her wish with Hanako. I mean, he said it himself in the first ep (”You wanted someone, anyone, to return your feelings, right? And as far as you’re concerned, sharing a bond with someone is the same thing, right?”). So it must’ve hit her really hard when she thought he didn’t trust her. Especially with all the wrong ideas the fishes were feeding her mind.

Then we got this little flashback. At first I was like, “Girl, you really be thinking that he doesn’t care about you while recalling the moment he apologized to you and hugged you? Are you insane?”

But after some thinking of my own, it occurred to me. Maybe she was too used to having her feelings not reciprocated, she couldn’t believe it when someone finally did. Not to mention Hanako did kinda trick her with his fake confession a while back (heh, he’s not the only one with trust issues, eh?). And that just made the entire thing even sadder.

So when Nene said, “But I thought, if I were an apparition like you, I could get closer to you. Then, maybe I’d be able to understand you, Hanako-kun. Although I know I probably don’t mean anything to you.”

That was a harsh wake up call for Hanako.

(Btw even more full circle, Hanako brought up Nene’s wish to become human again in the first episode. Nice.)

So. We got one daikon girl who’s afraid of not having her feelings reciprocated, and one ghost boy who’s afraid that daikon girl wouldn’t be his friend anymore if she knew about his past.

While in actuality, said daikon girl already decided she wanted to and would be his friend no matter what, and ghost boy had grown to care about her more than he thought he would.

He heard what she said to Tsuchigomori. He knew all about regret, too.  I mean, honestly, I think if she had said no, he’d let her walk away right then and there, no questions asked. But she didn’t.

Nene’s wish finally came true here. And the best part? It wasn’t the work of magic or curses. Just Hanako finally shoving his fear aside, offering himself as he was, and letting her decide.

And she still chose to be with him.

Heh. Lemme just. Sob for a bit.

Is my hananene trash brain reading too much into this? Idk. Maybe.

So props to the production team for managing to add even more weight to this arc. Which, they had to, since it’s the season finale and all. But I love what they did!

Onto my commentaries!

1. The KouNene

Good shit. She was worried about him but he didn’t want her to worry so he just smiled it off? These two are precious. Thought they were gonna interact. Sadly not. Buuuut! (see point 12)

2. Hanako’s classroom visit

He. Is. So. Adorable. Someone please take his babey license away he’s too dangerous.

Hanako’s classroom visit is like my absolute favorite clingy Hanako moment, so I’m really happy I get to see it this season. Ugh. My kokoro. Hugging her from behind, that semi confession vibe … Smooth mf.

The Mokke brushing Nene’s hair!!! The radish hairdo tho lmao.

On a sidenote, as a history nerd I appreciate that they’re actually putting lessons in the background. And the teacher talked about Apollo 11 again??? While my boy was in the room? That ish both hurt and pleased me.

3. The Clock Keeper rumor drop

Heeeeeehhhhh? What’s thiiiiiissss?

4. This freaking thing

*flips table* Darn production team been knew I’m hananene trash how dare they do this to me.

And lookie here there’s Kodama chilling.

5. Fishies! (!!!manga spoiler for The Little Mermaid arc!!!)

Pufferfish didn’t die. Well, good for him. Also I can’t believe they just call the other fish ‘yeah yeah’ lmao what the freak. Has it always been like that in the manga?

6. AOI AND AKANE (!!!spoilers for chapter 64!!!)

I swear I did not intend this numbering coincidence.

*claps* Boi. Nene asking Aoi about cutting ties with someone she’s interested in? And then Akane just swooped in and say he’d rather cut his head off than cut ties with Aoi? What about getting impaled, huh, boy? Would that do?

The not-so-subtle call out to these two pairs’ parallel? BOI.

7. Nene and Yako

These two just chilling together having girl talk, and Yako let Nene pet her? That’s some adorable shit right there. Admit it Yako you like her.

Yako also be really hitting home with what she said. It was extra heavy coming from her, considering what happened to her and Misaki. Boiiiiii.

8. Tsuchigomori

Oh my God, his laughter. Just … oh my God.

Tsuchigomori in dad mode is always one of the highlights of the episode/chapter.

By the way, in this scene according to the sub, Nene asked Tsuchigomori who Tsukasa is. But she knew who he is already. Is it possible that the sub misinterpreted it? ‘Cause I think what she actually meant was, “What happened to him and Tsukasa-kun in the past?”

If someone who speaks Japanese could share their wisdom, please do!

9. The 5 pm bell and twilight

Look how pretty they are!!!

Lo and behold, another important hananene interaction while the 5 pm bell plays in the background. Also, twilight? Y’all giving me Kimi no Na wa flashbacks.

“Twilight, when it’s neither day or night. When the world blurs and one might encounter something not human.”

Huh … kinda fits the ‘boundary’ concept but it still hurt.

Anyway they still had Hanako tell her what she already knew. And I did say in my ‘Walking Blind’ post that it’d be redundant. But since the episode kinda emphasized Nene’s desire to understand Hanako, having him actually tell her himself, even though she already knew it, was a big deal. It’s not about what she knows, it’s about him opening up to her. So I’m super cool with it.

10. The Broadcasting Club (!!!spoilers for The Clock Keeper arc!!!)

I love how Natsuhiko and Sakura are actually decent people. When he told Mitsuba that he was free to choose to stay with them or not? That’s solid, man. Though, of course, Tsukasa might not be as kind.

Speaking of, I know it couldn’t be anything else, but I’m still not sure if Tsukasa’s drawing was confirmation for season 2. Don’t wanna get my hopes up. Imma just enjoy what I currently have.

Kinda curious, though. Because Clock Keeper wasn’t Tsukasa’s doing. Maybe he was the one who released Mirai? But tbh I’d prefer if it wasn’t so. Because having more cases of supernaturals going loco without it being one of Tsukasa’s games is interesting, and kinda underlines the need of The Seven Wonders to keep supernaturals in check.

12. The Adventures of Minamoto and the Summer Vegetables

You go, Kou! I’m rooting for you oh my God you’re so precious.

And look at that ikemen smile! Him supporting Kou is just top notch sweet y’all I can’t-

Ngl this was the biggest surprise of the episode. Teru finding out that summer vegetables = Nene? Broooooo. Interesting. I don’t think this little addition warrants any changes to their future interaction, so it should be safe. Clever replacement, too, those veggies.

It’s so sweet that Nene delivered those veggies to Kou! Just imagine the Minamoto family having veggies for dinner. Awww.

(Also, Nene wrote her name in hiragana instead of kanji. Is that a reference to how bad Kou is with kanji? Lol, so sweet)

13. The Coda!!!

Look at him. Just look at him. Look how lovesick he is y’all I can’t-

Lorn is a very impressive "little weed" from Sprout Tower. He hopped ship and done a bit of traveling. He likes to fight and he's adamant. Lin, his mentor tugs him back from ridiculous opponents he thinks he can handle like "no no little weed..."

"You wanna go!! YOU WANNA GO!!" And starts pinwheeling his little leaves. LET HIM FIGHT

Meds cannot understand why she is BOTHERING...since clearly he's going to evolve into something with even less limbs. If he grows up he can just swallow Meds whole and whip like his sensei. I imagine he becomes heavy like a roly-poly toy that can't be knocked down.

Lin calls him "little weed". Unlike Kin and Aoi who like to poke fun about their mentors he would not stand for it.... That's when the Riolu tie this nerd to a tree.

Lorn can best Kin in most situations just cause he's a freaking noodle and uses others weight and moves against them so idk what he'd do against someone like Naga. Lmao Naga not sure how to feel about beating a piece of grass in battle....

Aoi thinks Lorn is cheating cuz he can't land a hit. In the end he'll dig and pull Lorn's root feet down and trap him in the dirt so he can kick him with fire. Aoi please. (!!!!!! CLEVER kin would be most impressed)

Lorn's sneaky too, has the powder moves. He's stubborn about using them though; he wants to hit stuff, not throw fairy dust at things in order to win.

He knows Leech Seed (gets Aoi all tangled up and gives a tiny evil cackle)

Lorn is probably a smart little bugger but a major snipe, he will rat you out, brag and cause unnecessary discourse but in Lin's eyes he's a perfect little weed.  If he saw that fence art, he would be all ">:O Ohhhh....i'm tellin'"

If they drew one of Lorn, he would cry. AND KIN WOULD HAVE A PANIC LIKE..."ahhh that was a bad idea, why did we do that, it was MEAN....no no no...." FRANTIC WIPING OF CHALK. Aoi's like "Aw it's just a joke, Lorn. Don't be a baby." This is when Don would usually smack him with his leaf hand if he was around.

If Don and Kirby ever cross paths and have to battle, I think Don is infinitely more experienced but Kirby could put up a tough fight. He's outmatched though, since Don has not missed a single day of training in his life (well, except for the rare occasions when he's sick)

Zion and Don are the kind who will insist to work even tho they are sick. Aoi will fake illness to sleep in. Naga will help him sometimes with enough pleading.

Meds: "Or you could just...NEVER GET SICK????" (Has never experienced a virus ever) Kin probably gets the sniffles but nothing more than that, not with that brutal diet he's on.

If Kin does get to the point of immobility due to training and his limbs are all bruised and torn up, Meds does take care of him and shows an uncharacteristic tender side, so if Kin became very ill he would handle that as well, if it got serious he'd address his trainer. You can only do so much on the mountain and while it is possible to make cures from whats there he just isn't that inclined...

There's a time Zion was ill and Aoi was looking after him. As Zion is laying in his futon, he beckons to Aoi and gives him a pat on the head, telling him that he's a good boy; and I imagine Aoi looks very touched at first, looking tearful and all...but then he grabs Zion's hand and goes "Are you going to die?! QAQ" and he recieves a withering glare.

He IS A GOOD BOY. If Cery catches wind of Aoi being sick at some point, she just kicks in doors...WHERE IS HE?! She can't be stopped, it is futile. Her precious darling baby is SICK. The evil would just be radiating off her for the entire household, how could you let this happen. She likes pampering him, they aren't together all the time so it's A-OK.

Aoi likes to hold Cery's hand. He loves her!! So much!

Aoi quite enjoys the treatment and attention when he's sick so you can be sure he plays it out more dramatically and longer than nessecary even after he's recovered. But Don always figures it out and puts him back to work. He has a lot of training to catch up.

Meds lets Kin make a full recovery, probably has to make him STAY PUT until he's healed although he can appreciate the determination.

If Don met Kin he's gonna shake his head and wonder why Aoi isn’t more like Kin. Now that's a pupil!

To be fair, Aoi does try to take as many shortcuts and slack off as much as he can. He does his best if you tell him there's a prize in it for him. MOTIVATION!

I don't think Meds would ever ...get sick but if Kin ever saw him lose and get hurt, his whole world would be ruined. He holds him in such high regard anything that tainted that might break his spirit. It's a very fragile dependency I guess, it's terrible.

Meds is legendary as far as Kin is concerned. I bet the boys like to compare and boast that each of their mentors can defeat the other no problem.

Kin would brag that his master has attacked humans :I SEEN HIM DO IT....THEY WON'T BE COMING BACK EITHER!

Aoi's kind of uncomfortable about that bit of information. He thinks Kin is playing it up to sound dangerous and cool.

Kin would have that very unsettling truth to his words, he's too genuine to lie or even try to make something up. "He attacked them,wouldn't tell me why.....I don't think I was supposed to see."

"I think thats why the humans put up signs on the trees....i can't read them all that well but I think it's a warning" He'd trail off, not thinking much of it, he sees them every day...sometimes a new one would be posted.

Aoi is uncomff but doesn't want to be one upped so he's like "Yeah...well...Don can beat up bad guys too...! Burglars are too scared to come by." (changes the subject)

"Don is cool :3..."

"We have signs back home too...!" (thinks about the signs he drew and put up in the garden in hopes to keep pokemon out) "It says KEEP OUT. PRIVATE PROPERTY" ("get your own goddamned veggies")

!!!!! Kin would be impressed that Aoi can read.

Aoi is suddenly very smug. (proudly) "Heh, I can also write" "I wrote the signs actually" (does not mention that his were rejected and replaced)

He makes a grandiose show of "COME! LET ME SHOW YOU HOW TO WRITE YOUR NAME (in kanji or something)" and waxes poetic on education that he's heard a thousand times but never cared for until this very moment.

All of Aoi's haikus would go right over his head, WHAT DOES THIS MEAN??? ...who is this Cery that you love so much...? He is not very artsy or creative to say the least if he can't say it with his fist then .....well.

Lin can probably read and write, she will insist that Lorn know how to as well.

Kin has no experience with people, the ones that have seen him give him weird looks because he's BRIGHT ASS YELLOW but it's never anything he would call positive.

Aoi believes if you hurt a trainer that looks after you, you're a bad Pokemon.

Your Holiday Party Survival Guide – 10 Tips for Success

I can’t believe it. We’re in the middle of the Holiday season again already. I’m not even sure where the time has gone!

This time of the year can be so much fun (and SO busy!), but it can also be such a difficult time for people’s weight loss goals.

Why?

All of the fun (and maybe sometimes awkward) Holiday get-togethers with family and friends, work parties, school parties, and not to mention Thanksgiving and yes, even Friendsgiving. Let’s be real, they’re ALL about the food and socializing.

As a certified nutritionist and trainer for over 8 years, I can’t tell you how many times I’ve seen one or two of these scenarios unfold. Maybe these sound a bit familiar…

People start to make progress on their weight loss goals during the spring and fall. The Holiday season rolls on in, and people either:

1. Sacrifice all of the holiday fun because they don’t want to sabotage their goals and end up getting bummed out and discouraged.

OR

2. Throw their weight loss goals go out the window and they end up without any results.

But what if I told you that it didn’t have to be this way? That you could enjoy holiday parties AND still crush your weight loss goals?

No, I’m not joking. You heard me right! This is actually extremely possible to do, to balance the holiday fun and continue on your weight loss journey.

Tip #1 – Exercise

Ok, ok. You may be rolling your eyes, but hear me out. You’re probably not going to be exercising and working out at the party, but guess what?

Getting in a good sweat sesh beforehand(whether that’s at the gym, at the park, or in your own living room) is one of the BEST ways to get the day started off on the right foot.

It will help you burn some good calories, wake you up, and you’ll already feel an awesome sense of accomplishment.

I recommend doing a mix of strength training and cardio to really ramp up your calorie burn and make sure you keep burning calories throughout the day!

Tip #2 – Don’t Save Your Calories

You may be extremely tempted to skip some meals throughout the day in an effort to save them for the party.

This is actually a really bad idea! Why? Doing this makes it so much easier to accidentally overeat, especially on the “not-so-healthy” types of foods, and this can be a BIG setback for your weight loss goals.

Trust me on this one. I actually recommend the exact opposite:

Make sure you are eating healthy, smaller meals throughout the day, and before the party, eat a small snack so that you don’t go to the party starving and end up sabotaging your goals.

Eating healthy, delicious meals during the day will help give you the energy you need to be productive and help keep your calories within your weight loss zone.

And when it comes time to hit the party, you won’t be starving… or even worse, hangry.

Tip #3 – Stay Hydrated

So this is a tip that you should be implementing all year round, but as far as party season goes, this will be a HUGE factor in you being able to manage your hunger.

Staying properly hydrated is KEY to helping keep your hunger in control. The signal that tells our body we are hungry is often confused with thirst.

When you are drinking as much water as you need, it makes it harder to overeat.

But how much water should you be drinking?

You should be drinking at least half your weight in ounces of water every day.

For example:

140 pounds = At least 70 ounces of water

180 pounds = At least 90 ounces of water

230 = At least 115 ounces of water

I promise that as you start to dial in on your daily water intake, you’ll notice that you have more energy and you’ll have that much more help when it comes to battling your cravings.

So, be sure you are staying properly hydrated throughout the day. Don’t save all your water for when you’re at the party or you may find yourself hiding out in the bathroom all night!

Tip #4 – Watch Out for Dressings & Sauces

You may be tempted to hit up the salad bar (if there is one), and to that, I’d say, “good move.”

Here’s the only downside to that:

Dressings and sauces tend to be secret, calorie-packed, weight loss destroyers.

The secret is out now.

Certain types of dressings can turn a healthy salad into a danger zone in no time at all.

But here’s what you should do:

If the dressing isn’t already on the salad, that is ideal. Go ahead and make your salad, and then keep your dressing on the side, instead of pouring it all over your plate. That will help you reduce the amount of calories from your dressing while still adding incredible flavor, and you may not even end up using all the dressing you portioned out!

As a rule of thumb, I recommend sticking with vinaigrette options and red sauces rather than creamy ones.

If the salad already has the dressing on it, see if the dressing bottle is available on the table. If it is, scope out the nutrition facts on the back. It may be a super low-calorie dressing option.

If the salad already has dressing on it and the dressing bottle is nowhere in sight, use your best judgment and exercise some portion control.

Same thing goes for sauces! For all those delicious finger foods, see if there are bottles of the sauces on the table to check out the nutrition labels. If they aren’t available, just use your best judgment and don’t go overboard.

Tip #5 – Portion Control

When it comes to weight loss, it’s all about balance. No one wants to eat fish and rice only every day for the rest of their life. That would be a living nightmare to a self-proclaimed foodie like myself!

Here’s how you can find a balance: use portion control, and make more good decisions than bad decision.

This tip will come in clutch when you’re navigating the food table. I recommend filling your plate up first with these items before going into the desserts and other finger foods:

Lean proteins

Fruits

Vegetables

Lean protein like chicken, turkey, lean ground beef, and even low-fat cottage cheese are great sources of protein that will help keep you feeling fuller for longer periods of time.

Also, fruits and vegetables are great foods because they are higher in fiber and water content, and lower in calories. That means you can generally eat more of these types of foods, which also means they can help you fill up a bit.

When it comes to scoping out the desserts, the generic portion size and the way things oftentimes end up getting cut up start to look like monstrous cake sizes. In other words, the portions are generally a lot bigger than they should be.

As a rule of thumb, for pre-cut desserts like cakes, pies, and other desserts, I recommend cutting that portion size in half.

Cookies and things like that should be fine, just be sure to limit how many you have. I recommend sticking with 1 depending on the size.

Tip #6 – Out of Sight, Out of Mind

For me, it’s so much more tempting if I am constantly scanning the yummy dessert table and thinking about how delicious all the food smells.

Then I start thinking about how TASTY it all probably tastes, and before I know it, my feet start walking towards the table without me even realizing!

Once you’re done eating, don’t hang out by the food area. The further you can stay away from it after eating, the better! That will help keep you from grazing at the table and mindlessly snacking.

Go socialize or participate in the activities that may be going on at the party.

Tip #7 – Bring Your Own Dish

A lot of parties tend to be a “bring a dish to share” type of thing. If that’s the case with the party you are going to, awesome!

Bring a delicious dish to share that will fit your weight loss goals. Bringing your own dish to share will make it so much easier to not give in to all the other possible unhealthy options.

Accountability is HUGE! Being able to hold people and have people also hold you accountable for your goals will help you both achieve your goals.

The support from those you care about can go a long way in helping you make good decisions that would put you on the fast track to weight loss success.

It’s always a good idea to establish some accountability. There is always “strength in numbers.”

If you are going to the party with a friend or spouse, let them in on your goal for the night and have them help you out!

It could be as simple as, “Hey, if you see me going back for seconds on desserts, remind me not to!” or, “I don’t want to drink my calories tonight, so I’m going to drink water. Help remind me!”

Just don’t be mad at them when they do help you out!

Tip #9 – Don’t Drink Your Calories

It can be frighteningly easy to accidentally end up drinking a majority of your day’s calories without even realizing it.

Sodas and juices are usually packed with calories (not to mention sugars), and the bummer thing with these is you end up drinking a ton of these drinks, and it doesn’t do much for your appetite.

Check out just some of the party beverages you may find on the table:

Iced Tea – Up to 270 calories per serving and even more

Can of Soda – 150 calories or more!

Juice – 140 calories or more!

Save yourself a whole lot of unwanted calories by drinking water instead. Don’t want to drink just plain water? You can always bring some flavor enhancing packets and mix it in with your water.

the following is a list of characters who appear in the ‘St. George’s’ RP saga (even tho they havent been at St George’s in like, a long time, shush, details). 

characters with an ‘r’ are played by reynarda , with a ‘t’ by tsukasakadoya, and with a ‘j’ by me, still_jones573 . 

some characters do not really belong to anyone and are just there, or have only been mentioned by certain characters that DO belong to someone but said character isnt really being ‘played’ by anyone because they havent appeared, you know.

The Gang: aka the primary characters, they all currently live together in a townhouse owned by Vlad & Bram

(r) Vladimir Drakoni: Full vampire, born in like the 1400′s?, has a long-standing feud with the Council Chair, Claudios Von Batts. His family was removed from the Council, but he is still pretty involved in their business, cuz he’s nosy and doesnt trust them. Magically tied to Bram by things beyond comprehension, and has after many decades, gotten used to it and they’ve even been able to harness the power of friendship, to the horror of their enemies everywhere. Is short (at least enough that Bram likes to tease him for it), has dark hair (?) 

(r) Abraham Lluewen (??sp?): Human, born in like the 1400′s to the family of hunters that created ‘silverblood’, a liquid silver that is particularly dangerous to vampires. Has worked for and with the Hunter’s Guild over the years, most recently as the head of St. George’s (a monster-hunting school, basically), though is now on ‘parental leave’. Along with Vlad, has a tendency to get into dangerous situation, and also to collect sad magical children and make sure they eat their veggies. Is the tallest member of the Gang, has red hair

(r) Devon Von Batts: Claudios’ son, lived with his human mother until she died when he was a preteen. Stuff happened, he went to juvie, Von Batts Sr. found out he had a son and asked Vlad to pretty please deal with that. Devon lived as Claudios’s son for a few years, having previously been ‘privately tutored’ or whatever. Was part of the plot to infiltrate St. George’s school with young vampire spies, but a lot of stuff happened, he got a bit stabby, things went south, etc. Is now in the care of Vlad and Bram. Recently got his fangs! Has blonde hair, is tall but not quite as tall as his sister (tho this could be because she has a soldier’s posture, and her skininess makes her seem even taller than she is)

(j) Winona Von Batts: Kidnapped from her human mother at birth, raised by creepy vampires who were obsessed with creating a perfect weapon, though they had many and often contradictory ideas about how that should be done. Basically, it really sucked. She eventually killed her ‘family’ when they tried to force her into killing young human girls and drinking their blood, and was picked up by the Guild. Was not exactly communicative, so she ended up at St George’s. lots of stuff happened, now she lives with Bram and Vlad. I think outside the townhouse gang, no one knows (or should know) that she and devon are, in fact, only half vampires. winona is quite tall, and muscular in a way that suggests she was encouraged to exercise frequently but had poor nutrition, tho that has likely been getting less obvious over the last few months. she has brownish stubble across her scalp that might prove to be lighter if it grew out some, but she scratches herself and rips at her head when she’s nervous or often while sleeping, so her head stays buzzed and her nails short.

(t) May Garrison: Quite possibly the destruction of the world is small, adorable human form. a sacred magical ritual on an island went wrong, and the resulting magical baby was taken home by bill garrison who likely did not realize the next 20 years would be spent thinking ‘i was just being a good person, why does magic exist’ may eventually left his island home, and met gabriel, who tasked him with (???? i honestly dont remember the specifics) being at st georges on a plot-heavy day. the aforementioned stuff happened, and tho the Council was reluctant to deal with WInona themselves they also DID not want to just let Vlad have her, so May volunteered his services as a neutral party that would report on Winona’s progress. Is asexual, uses magic through precious gems and stones, likes pineapple on his pizza to the dismay of many. the shortest member of the gang by far (he’s like 5′1″? 5′2″?), i think he’s blonde?, and he wears a lot of very bright outfits

(j) Alex Moraes: Full vampire, from standardly rich and powerful family. Grew up living on the Yates plantation, going to fancy boarding schools, alternatively learning ball room dance and financial investment strategies, visiting the Moraes home in the Andes, etc, etc. Feels a LOT of pressure to be a perfect son and heir, in the human and vampiric traditions, tho honestly he could probably relax about that, as he is already doing WAY better than his parents were at his age. Is gay and closeted and has a lot of conflicting feelings about that, also has an enormous crush on May that is obvious to everyone but may. Is growing his hair out because he wants to have a stylish mane like his father, and because he no longer goes to a boarding school that forbids that sort of thing. maybe also because sometimes may admires it, but im sure thats just convenient

The Legal Team: aka other important people that show up and do stuff, mostly covering everybody’s ass even tho they themselves are kinda an ass

(t) Gabriel Last Name?: Vampire (presumably full, as his family used to have a Council seat), lawyer, May’s employer and friend. Has his fingers in many pots as it were, perhaps not all entirely legal. Bad blood between him and his brother Chris, who absconded with all the family’s wealth and hasnt been heard from since (many many years ago- at least 20 or 30?). Not really the most warm and generous seeming of people, but has come through for the gang. Most notably, he was their legal representation in the case of ‘yall dont really want this dangerous vampire child who might kill you while you sleep, why dont you give her to bram and vlad while you clutch at your pearls and pretend you care about atrocities committed on your watch mkay?’ he and his boyfriends (denatro, a full werewolf and Locke, a bitten vamp) came to the townhouse for an awkward yet hilarious yet terrible christmas dinner. has red hair, generally dresses himself in a corporate fashion

(j) Maria Moraes: full vampire, Council member, member of indigenous population based in the Andes mountains that no longer exists any more, trans woman, also born in like the 1400s (honestly i forgot??), alex’s other mother but that is known to like, three people. a shrewd and savvy businesswoman, Maria is a no nonsense lady who is very unimpressed with the amount of nonsense alex has recently gotten into. but also sees the value of having Von Batts in her debt, and allying herself with Vlad and Bram, as well as Winona- she doesnt like wild cards, but she’d rather they be in her hand than loose in the deck, as it were. she secured the votes of other councillors for the ‘vlad gets winona and devon’ plan, and is apparently quite comfortable manipulating her colleagues. she has many business and political connections in the human world as well, as she does not subscribe to the isolationist theory many old supernatural beings prefer. in a not-serious-but-maybe-serious relationship with Mags, a werewolf gal from Deno’s pack. practices magic, but more like ‘spells’ and potions than the abilities Vlad has. can turn herself into a hawk, which is quite useful as she hates mechanized transportation

The Extended Fam & Friends: aka some more people that the Gang is fond of

(t) Bill Garrison: May’s adopted father, a very patient but bewildered man. His family, especially his parents are well respected in the community, which allowed him a bit more flexibility in the ‘adopting this random and potentially dangerous baby’ thing. handyman and builder

(t) Henri LastName: May’s best friend and confidante. Is a ‘guardian’ (i think that’s what they are called? basically, she’s involved with the giant world eating snake thing their island has going on, though she seems much more friendly with May than the others in her position). A take-no-shit lady, sells fish, i dont think she gets along with her mother? rocks a nice suit

(j) Matt Moraes: Alex’s ‘father’, Maria’s older brother, married to Annabelle. Enjoys art perhaps a little too much, as he seems to have taken the ‘my wife and sister can do as they please so long as im not interrupted from this project’ and honestly, they have some /dangerous/ projects that could use somebody willing to stand up to them. But generally, a kind man who has a good life- his marriage to annabelle is primarily a political one (they’re both gay), but they get along well enough in public that few would suspect they aren’t genuine. also, absurdly handsome. has a great beard and great hair, College Professor Hot™

(j) Annabelle Yates: full vampire heidi klum. elle woods disposition and charm, the manners of a southern belle, but also a cross between iago and mrs. bennet- she loves to know everybody’s business and she LOVES to be involved in it. not necessarily ill-intentioned in her manipulations, but manipulative nonetheless. has dabbled in most of the potentially high-profile ‘socialite careers’, tho right now is mostly focused on cooking and catering (but goodness knows that could change on a whim). she makes it a point to always look put together and have control over any situation, but she is incredibly protective of alex. loves parties, loves being adored, loves being right. has been known to flaunt whichever lingerie model she’s been seeing at maria, her ex, in attempts to make her jealous. does not actively practice magic, as her family has the rather unfortunate predisposition to go mad with power lust in their obsession to acquire more and more dangerous magics. has long, bright red hair and a smile a dentist would love to use in advertisements. (also, is maybe pregnant! this was going to alluded to more heavily in a thing i will hopefully eventually post that explored matt’s relationship to his family, but i was having difficulty with the dialogue and abandoned it for the time being, so)

(t) Denatro LastName: Deno, full werewolf, son of his pack’s previous alpha and younger brother to the current one, but has not been ‘home’ in years. his dad was an asshole that made him feel like having had a complicated birth (has only one eye, usually wears a patch over it in human form) was somehow in his control and thus his fault his mother died. Married to Locke, and the two are dating Gabriel. Deno is somewhat grumpy, not keen on people or tidiness or many other things besides. His wolf form is on the smaller side for a werewolf, but he’s faster and nimbler for it (i think he has black fur? and a very good nose?) annabelle thinks his butt looks nice in his suit, deno thinks wearing suits should be outlawed. has tried to eat a cat at least once.

(t) Locke Smith: owns a gas station with Deno in canada, bitten vampire, that’s not his real name (i mean, at least none of the Moraes-Yates gangs are still going by their original names, so he’s fine). Got into some real awful shit with some vampires when he was younger and had to kill his sister after she got violent, first met gabriel as his lawyer. eventually took up hunting, met and started dating Deno, got bitten at some point, got married at some point. reconnected with gabriel, they started seeing each other. like deno, is not keen on socializing, but is far more patient and polite about it. seems to wear a lot of turtlenecks

Ye Olde Baddies: people the gang dislike and/or have to fight against or are just generally suspicious

(r) Claudios Von Batts: Council Chair and leader, full vampire, full trash bag. i keep wanting to sympathize with him, but R assures me not to bother. slept with a human woman (the indignity! for a respectable vampire anyways) after his vampire wife died, obviously did NOT follow up. feels comfortable enough going to vlad when he needs help with child custody stuff, but also is cool with kidnapping and torturing vlad, so. power amongst the councillors and the supernatural community in general have been shifting, and Von Batts wishes to hold onto his at all costs. Is blond, is paranoid, lives alone in his huge mansion (maybe he listens to phantom of the opera as he swoops around? who knows)

Gautier: i almost forgot about him? full vampire, Council member, french dude. generally, a grade A creep. likes to ‘collect’ things (people, lbr). Assumedly connected to and even employing Rawe, and perhaps behind the kidnapping attack on May. i described him as looking older and ugly, but at times ive also implied vampires can influence their appearances, so who know. maybe he likes looking a guy colbert would make fun of

DeLuna: another random council member? wants von batt’s power for herself, seems suspicious of the commonly held belief that the twins were his late wife’s children. had her car stolen by May and Winona.

(j) Jack: cosmic entity charged with making sure sentient life doesn’t magic itself out of existence on accident. why Maria and Matt are the only remaining members of their civilization, gained the ability to posses a human body after helping merlin out, and now just hangs around on earth sometimes, eating food and enjoying carnal delights, etc. has become fond of Matt over the centuries they been sharing the second, but is unlikely to admit it. is absolutely enthralled by the prospect of May, and was invited to the New Years party in an effort by annabelle to satisfy jack’s curiosity without exposing may to much danger. is currently inhabiting the body of a dutch coma patient, and sorta looks like a man who hasnt left a hospital bed in years- very grayish skin, limp black hair, creepy eyes

dr rawe: .... a boogey-man, magic scientist dude? we needed to shake stuff up with some drama, so i created him to kidnap May and then came up with the explanation for what he was later on, dont judge. at any rate he’s dead now, having been quite injured by the gang and then eaten by jack

party goers: people at Annabelle’s primarily-human New Year’s Day party that the gang and others are interacting with

(j) Ilhan: human, Alex’s friend from prep school who is currently studying at MIT. Also, his girlfriend- the relationship was always a bit of an intentional ruse, but Alex has never actually talked to her about it, and probably should. I suspect that she genuinely does like him and would be hurt if he admitted that he has no interest in her, but probably not surprised. is wearing a white hijab and a long dress with galaxies across it

(j) gavin LastName: human, son of the fictional texas governor. a real asshole. he and alex dated secretly for awhile, under the pretense that gavin would be ostrasized and disowned if he came out, and became very manipulative of alex. it eventually became clear that gavin was largely just using alex for his own means, mutual friend Ilhan got real damn angry and things went south. gavin is... bitter about this. i keep trying to sympathize with gavin and give him more complex motivations (there are lots of people who cannot come out and that is valid! it is not inherently abusive to ask your partner to keep your relationship private! -things that i think and also alex probably thinks when he frets about it and wonders that maybe he /was/ in the wrong, no matter what ilhan claims) but honestly hes just a superficial high school jock villain and it can probably be left at that

(j) Chris Yates: i gotta rename him because there are only so many red haired characters that can have a brother named chris, but he’s annabelle’s younger half brother and runs their security firm. (they freelance with the mob, they are NOT the mob, its different) a decent dude, though was a stereotypical ‘big brother’ to alex growing up- as in, he was WAY cooler to hang out with than alex’s parents, but also likely to tell him scary stories and encourage him to do dangerous things that annabelle would have absolutely forbidden. i got some other backstory on him with the Yates family and the civil war and all that stuff, but basically he was very useful when annabelle exerted herself as head of the Yates family (i dont wanna say he shot folks who disagreed with her, but thats pretty much what happened)

annabelle’s ‘family’: yall i keep meaning to post something meaningful about the ‘cousins’ but basically its a large collection of full vampires and bitten vampires and a few in-the-know humans who were brought in as significant others but didnt want to be bitten. its not exactly ‘Council approved’, but they’re basically a coven of vampire rednecks and muscle thugs and the council was like ‘if we recognize the Moraes-Yates marriage and give Moraes a council seat then we have power over Annabelle and by extension her coven, without actually having to directly interact with her coven, soooo’ Technically Maria is ‘head of the family’ in the ways that matter for vampire law, but to the cousins, Annabelle is head of the family in the ways that /actually/ matter, and in the ways recognized by the old magics of the yates matriarchs. she keeps them out of trouble, disciplines them as needed, and the Council generally gets to sleep sounder at night knowing that at least things are much better than they were before annabelle took charge (and killed and exiled a good portion of said trouble-causing family, but thats another thing!)

Assorted Side Characters: aka people who i forgot to mention or didnt have a category

(r) the vampire doctor lady whose name i forgot: she’s friends with Vlad and gets away with because the supernatural community is pretty shit about medical research and the Council can’t really afford to alienate the world’s best (and only) expert on vampire health and wellbeing. probably one of vlad’s inside eyes and ears on the Council, has been treating Winona to recover use of her voice

nora: winona’s primary care-giver until she was maybe seven or so, and protected her from some of the abuse of the others. was presumably killed by the others in the coven, but if we ever need a new plot idea, nora can definitely be alive. though goodness knows if she really cared for winona or was just another manipulative sicko, so i supposed i would have to figure that out

victoria: a mysterious lady that Bram used to date, much to the displeasure (and detriment, it seems) of Vlad. Possibly why Vlad is so against Bram dating in the present

the folks on the island: May’s community is something of another mystery- Henri and Bill, at least, are very much on May’s ‘side’ as it were, but it seems that sentiment is not widely embraced, and there may be some who are anxious for May to die young, as has been predicted

(j) FirstName Domagala: aka ‘Mags’, a werewolf from Deno’s pack. She is older than him (maybe 5, 7 years? idk) and is also in a somewhat self-imposed exile, tho the details of that are unknown to us (aka i havent decided) and she formally left the pack several years after Deno had. She initially left to study medicine (surgery, specifically), but in recent years her seizures (which she used to only get after transforming) have forced her out of practice. is ‘seeing’ Maria, and weirdly enough, it seems to be approaching a ‘real relationship’, tho who knows. her parents were well respected and loved, her father being deno’s father’s best friend. she DEF killed him. it should be noted that Mags has several variations and though Werewolf Mags is certainly not warm and personable, she is a LOT nicer than Apocalypse Mags and Mutant Mags. 

sara weaver, greg parker, some other gal whose name i dont remember: the other kids in this generations vampiric baby boom. greg was the youngest by a few years, and real shy and nervous i think? and sara and alex have always been friends in the same way you might be friends with the kids of your parents college friends that you see once or twice a year- you get along and enjoy catching up, but outside of that connection, you dont make a lot of effort into maintaining the relationship. initially they were maybe going to be closer, but i decided that if alex supposedly had a ‘normal’ life he should maybe have some human friends, so ilhan became his primary friend outside the gang. sorry sara.

apologies for the many details i got wrong or outright neglected (like gavin’s last name, which i have already forgot, or Mags’ first name, which i STILL havent come up with, despite the character having originated even before her appearance in the Northern Ridge Werewolf RP sheesh i should get on that) i tried to include physical descriptors when i remember them, but obvs they are not complete nor necessarily accurate.
