I'm doing a lil experiment and I'm sharing it with all of you (911 blogs i follow) lmao.

I'm rewatching 911 from the beginning with my teenaged sibling for their first watch. I'm not going to say a word about buck and Eddie and buddie. not a single hint of screaming.

the experiment is, will they ship buddie themselves without any clues or subtext from me, a hard-core shipper? is the Canon enough to get them to see the light (of buddie)?

(they're quite young teenaged and not on tumblr at all.)

What do you think, is this an interesting experiment?

yes, hello! i love them! mostly just enjoying their music wholesale, like i get the lore but i'm not overly invested in it, their music just fucks so hard. i love the instrumentals, i love the genre play, i love the LYRICS, vessel's VOICE. never thought i would be obsessed with an 8 minute song but back to eden is one of my faves on that album. an ENTIRE EXPERIENCE. i think they're fantastic and they make incredible music and i think the world needs more eldritch horror, and anonymous bands who have deeply personal connections to their fans, and men in masks who kiss on the mouth!, and people with smoky soulful voices covering billie eilish. hopefully i will get to see them live their next tour cycle, fingers so fucking crossed. i need them.

also sorry to bring spn into this but one way they could do it is by making an episode like the ghostfacers ep where they still censored every time the winchesters swore BUT it shows just how much they would swear if you know. their show was in a different network shdjsbd i think abc could get away with that and it would be hilarious to watch

I've just started season 3 with my sibling, doing the unbiased experiment where I don't tell them about buddie.

So far, the direct quotes from them

Eddie says not everything is the same at end of 2.18, and they said "yes because your husband is still in hospital, "

"are they brothers? are they best friends? Will they ever, yknow... no one knows."

"his buck??? hanging out with his buck??" cue lots of screaming and rolling around

"HOW did Eddie get into buck's apartment?? he has a key??"

"Eddie you're so dumb,"

"Eddie sure got over his WIFE dying pretty fast huh,"

it's getting really difficult to not point out all the canon buddie references in the scenes and not scream too because it's my first rewatch.
