‘Death’
Angst idea. So something happens that causes Danny Fenton to be ‘fatally injured’. Like shot through the head, cut in half, spine ripped out, impaled kind of injured. Maybe attempting to save the day after being forced out of Phantom form. So as a Halfa, as long as his core remains undamaged, Danny can eventually heal from basically anything. (Yes it will hurt, but he’ll have Deadpool level of regeneration. Just a bit slower and more subtle.) So Danny won’t die. That’s how he’s survived his battles at Phantom (because some of those get violent. The problem? Danny Fenton’s ‘death’ was very public and he hasn’t told anyone he’s Phantom yet (besides Jazz, Tucker, and Sam.) He’s scared of revealing it to his parents because he still doesn’t know how they will react and worries it might even seem worse. Like that ‘Phantom’ was impersonating their dead son or something. So he has no choice but to let the world, his parents, his school, and his former bullies believe he’s dead.

Or Danny just drops in every now and then to help with stuff.#Or just to say hi to his friends

Well it was bad.#i always underestimate how much i've improved in a year last may was questionable. also it's not even may any more so why mermaids now.#sorry if you remember this but at least half is new story. i'll just paste more explanation from twt....#first qifrey was cursed by EVIL WITCH eye taken and thrown into the sea#memory-less. then kind little witch boy oru found him on the beach & they became friends#they drifted apart after falling for each other bc qif knew he could never be with him.#oru walked on the beach every day for years hoping to see him again until so desperate he goes into the sea (on a ship?) & is dying#qifrey saved him with a kiss. they got closer &oru swore to find a way to save him that wasnt dangerous but qif knew hed need a dark witch.#(that witch was probably the one who cursed him..just toying with him...) in with the spell oru DOES forget him for real#even tho he needs to give Kiss Of True Love before qif turns totally blind for qif to stay human for good or become seafoam. but oru someho#the oldest magic is love..the ability to break through the curses of loneliness and despair. qif already did that for him#so oru was able to do it back later. he fell in love with him again..but also realised it was obviously him....well anyway......#originally the 'finding oru stranded like that guy in the little mermaid' was a separate au but it still makes sense to combine them#i dont want them to have not met in childhood...thats the orufrey thing....#im going to work on Proper drawings next instead of silly comics as usual....

just realized. severance is about ppl who are split between work and not-work versions right. that's so me
#there's business [deadname] who handles the actual class stuff usually#tho sometimes someone else is having a crisis and takes over in class and then it's bad#but business deadname always holds on to at least a rein. even if we're crashing out we're still paying enough attention#but THEN there is casual pid which as you all know is a wide array of pids constantly changing and growing and dying#afaik there is only one business deadname and she's always on call to attend whenever we need to get school stuff done. she's locked in#there is also a home deadname and her job is to keep the nondeadnames from going for the kitchen knives whenever our mom screams for us#which happens 200x per day. home deadname is really strong i commend her#tho sometimes she cant be mustered up quickly enough and then one of us has to bear the brunt of deadname and we minorly crash out#the deadnames also deal with stuff like being misgendered and being actively aware of how long our hair is and other such dysphoric matters#i love them so much they do so much for me and they both deserve a permanent vacation#pigeon coos#i forgot the original post was about weverance or wtv. im just talking about me now
