Up for a moral quandary? Two men are stranded in a desert, trying to get to town. One man has a jug of water. If both men drink from the jug, neither will have the energy to get to town before they die. If one man keeps the jug for himself, he'll be able to make it to town, but leave the other to die.

What is the best course of action?

Wondering what Mechi or Kwahu would answer :)

Assuming the two men in this hypothetical are Mechi and Kwahu, the boys would probably have slightly different opinions. Mechi says if we go down, we go down together, while Kwahu is perhaps still very aware that he is not the original/not a "proper" person and that if Yamka gets anyone back, she deserves her "real" brother.

Of course, if anybody else is thrown into the scenario, it's Jones boys for themselves and hope that anyone else gets lost before they find their way to Sparks because they don't want more guests, dammit!!

What is the most embarrassing thing a blorbo or OC of yours has ever done?

Happy blorbo *looks at calendar* tuesday!

I think the part of my WIP that would leave you feeling the greatest amount of second-hand embarrassement is the moment Darius confesses to August that he likes him and wants to be his boyfriend. I wrote it to be awkward on purpose and even as I was putting words on the page it physically hurt me.

However, Reyna and Markov have (separately) done a lot of embarassing stuff because:

1. Reyna has 0 awareness of everything around her whenever she's focused. She once tried to investigate a murder, which once lead to her stalking some dude at 2AM (it was Markov in disguise). The whole investigation is embarassing as hell because she's relying purely on vibes and her obsession with Sherlock Holmes stories. She manages to solve it by sheer dumb luck by having the information yeeted at her face when she's not looking.

2. Markov is so embarassing overall. He's a 34 year old man who's been in a continuous edgy phase since he was 20 and he has no clue how to navigate life in general. He says the most out-of-pocket stuff, tries to bond with the one guy that hates him while under the impression that they are besties, and dragged Darius and Reyna out of bed to watch his weird monologue in the middle of the night. He covers his face with illusions except he's not too good at it and ends up looking uncanny valley-esque 90% of the time. Also, the god he serves has told him he's shit at his job twice, which isn't necessarily embarassing but is very funny to me.

I love them so much. They are my little embarassing babies <3

yeah. lots of my time has been spent with trouble brewing, and it's honestly been a lot of push & shove to get to where i am today. i'd love nothing more than to take a load off and have someone help me, because oh my god do i want that sense of calm. i miss those days hanging with the boys in a not-so-empty house, waiting for... something. but the truth is that you must carry on, persevere and try to make a clean slate for yourself. those who forget history never find a respite, but it's okay to try again... and take a walk through your own lost library. no matter how many bad mornings you face, remember to be patient. i'll be right here by your side. :)

Can we see more of your cat?

Of course you can!! This is my oldest girl, who was in yesterday's post. She's an absolute cuddlebug who loves to headbutt me right in the mouth and sit on my desk while I'm trying to work until I move her onto my lap, where she will stay for hours.

She is not my only cat, however...

This is my brother's cat, but she still lives in my house. She's very noisy and thinks she's a bird, so she climbs up onto people's shoulders like a parrot whenever she can. She is also convinced she is perpetually on the verge of starvation, but what cat isn't?

My mum rescued this extremely handsome boy from a fox when he was only very smol, but now he's a majestic grown-up kitty who is very easygoing and only grumbles a little bit if you scoop him up to smooch him all over.

The gang's all here <3

There is also a very good pupper to keep the cats in line. She belongs to my dad, and she's an absolute treasure.

some extra insight/fun facts about the process of this piece below the cut 💥💥💥

posting pieces from collaborative zines is always something i struggle with because i look back and think of how i would do things differently now, but i learned a lot working on this comic and even developed some style techniques that i still use!

Fun Fact 1: the panel where shadow Fucking Disintegrates That Guy is technically traditionally drawn! i couldn't get it right in clip studio so i just started frantically scribbling in a notebook and got it eventually lol

highly highly recommend scribbling stuff out in a notebook, scanning it on your phone, and then dropping it into a canvas to edit later if you ever have trouble sketching something.

Fun Fact 2: a lot of the overlay/background effects were made in Kid Pix Deluxe 3D. i created a whole collection of various textures/abstract effects for this comic that i've been using in my art since last year. you can even find them scattered through my team dark zine lol. here's a few of them:
