saw someone do an ask in someone elses inbox and thought this would be fun to write about. Especially since I've been writing SO much angst lately. It would be nice to have some teeth rotting fluff :)

Prompt: How would Seventeen Members be in the beginning stages of a new relationship?

Almost all of them are the type to be "down bad" but holy shit Seungcheol is on another level.

Thinks that you are royalty and treats you that way.

He holds the door for you.

Opens the car door for you and puts his hand above your head so you wont bang your head.

He will be the best bag and umbrella holder.

He always walks to your front door with fresh flowers before each date.

Has a million compliments running through his mind but too shy to admit them all because he's afraid you will run away.

The first time you interlocked your fingers with his, he almost died.

Like his heart almost backflipped out of his chest and he just felt electrified.

He has a list of things you like saved to his phone so he can 'surprise' you out of the blue.

I can see him thinking long term pretty early on in your relationship.

You just are so important to him as he is to you.

ღ Jeonghan: super shy but can't help but tease still.

Jeonghan would act like it was the other way around but he was SO wrapped around your finger.

When you weren't looking he would be sending you the biggest heart eyes.

He'd constantly wonder how the hell he got so lucky to have someone like you.

He would want to be next to you all the time.

Sometimes he'd forget time was a thing and would send "goodnight" texts after practice or schedules.

Sometimes that would be like 3 in the morning and then he'd triple text an apology.

Luckily you would find it precious.

But not as precious as he thought YOU were.

He would always have a smile plastered on his face when he was around you.

Listen, Joshua is insane but he's a gentleman. Especially to his baby.

When you agreed to be his, he felt like he won the lotto.

He would so mindful of you.

He would want to know everything about you.

As long as you were comfortable with it though.

TBH he would either do big gestures or little ones. No in between.

He would make you a bracelet with both of your favorite colors.

He would love to talk on the phone with you.

Especially at night after a long day of practices.

Even though he MUCH rather be with you in person, your voice is music to him.

You are his peace.

Overtime, you become apart of the 'evil twin' chaos with him and Jeonghan.

Seventeen would call you three the 'evil triplets'

ღ Jun: shy giggly mess but would do anything for you.

If you were to tell Jun to jump, he'd ask how high.

Similarly to Seungcheol, he'd be extremely down bad.

He would constantly smile at you no matter what.

Like, you could sneeze and he would find it adorable.

At the beginning before he was 1000% comfortable, he would giggle a lot and overthink everything.

Hell, he over thought whether or not it was too soon to hold your hand.

YOU had to be the one to grab his hand and swing it back and forth.

(That action alone gave him butterflies for 7 business days btw.)

The more comfortable he got, the more silly he got which made you giggle and become the shy giggly mess.

He would send you random pictures throughout the day of things that made him think of you.

TBH I can see him bringing you random things that made him think of you.

like a cool ass rock? Totally would bring it to you because the color of the rock reminded him of your eye color or whatever LOL.

He just wanted to show you how much he liked you.

ღ Hoshi: pretty much what you would expect

Soonyoung wore a smile whenever you were around and even strangers could see how whipped he was.

Do you rememember Loco and Hwasa's interaction on "Hyena's on The Keyboard?" Yeah basically, Soonyoung would be like Loco toward you. Especially the car scene when he bought Hwasa a lipstick LMFAO

You would make him so flustered most days and it was honestly so cute.

The days he was a bit more confident would make you so flustered but unlike you where it was unintentional his was intentional.

Cuddly lil tiger... rawr (I'm so sorry)

Honestly, just being near you was all he needed for a good day.

When you both were busy with various schedules, he would send you texts throughout the day and send you pictures and videos of things that made him think of you.

Which would honestly be basically everything because you were ALWAYS on his mind.

Basically just a cuddly lil simp that was so happy to be yours.

All members would be hella supportive of their significant others but I feel like Wonwoo would be the most supportive.

Not in a way that would be overly shown but would bring you flower after big projects and things like that.

He is all smiles whenever you talk about things you are SUPER passionate about.

His love language would be acts of service so he would do his best to do things that would make your life a bit more easier.

Also would be a subtle romantic. He would take you on casual but meaningful dates.

If you went to an arcade he would make sure he won you a plushie.

Also, if you thought you were paying for anything, that would be cute.

Also, if you were also a gamer and wanted to play minecraft, he would put your beds next to each other in your shared house.

We all know that Alastor has many acquaintances, however he falls short on meaningful connections.

He doesn’t let people get too close to him, and it is sort of understandable why.

You are one of the only exceptions to that.

You know more about this man than all of hell combined.

It took a while for him to open up to you, and even longer until he started telling you about his past.

He’s the kind to drop hints about himself and let you figure out the rest.

Trust goes a long way with him, I think he’d be more open to sharing his plans and such with someone that he knows won’t question his every move.

Even so, there’s still a lot that you don’t know about him, but you’ll just have to take what you can.

You can dress however you want… as long as it fits his taste

He’s not all too picky about what you wear.

Contrary to popular belief, he wouldn’t expect you to be in full glam 24/7.

If you like more revealing clothes, well, he’ll just have to make sure that anyone that dares to as much as look at you the wrong way is taken care of.

That being said, looking well put together is a must.

You represent him in a way, and he expects you to look the part.

He can’t have you wandering the streets of hell in rags that not even the lowest sinners would wear.

Alastor would make sure to accompany you on your outings as much as his schedule allows it.

But let’s be real, he’s a very busy man.

He makes sure that a few of his shadows keep an eye on you though, even in his absence.

I don’t think your personal strength matters in this case, as I’ve mentioned before, there’s very little that this man wouldn’t do for you, especially when it comes to your personal safety.

Lets you get closer to him than anyone else

This time, I’m talking about physical closeness.

We all know that he isn’t big on physical touch.

However, I feel like you could get away with a lot more than others.

When the two of you are walking somewhere, it’s not unusual for him to offer you his arm.

When you’re standing next to him, he sometimes rests his hand on your back, although that is often a subconscious thing.

If you’re having a particularly rough day, he isn’t too opposed to letting you hug him.

You can also get away with laying on his lap sometimes, and if he’s feeling exceptionally gracious, he might even pet your hair.

PDA is definitely a big no-no, on one hand he has an image to protect, but I also just don’t think he’d be too comfortable with showing his more vulnerable side in public.

As for kisses… if you haven’t seen each other in a while, he might greet you with a kiss on your hand, but that’s as far as it ever goes.

He’s not a very touchy-feely person, so if that bothers you… good luck finding someone better than the radio demon ;)

WAAAAAAAAA this is such a flattering ask to get! 

I'm really bad at expressing myself when it comes to things I love, but I LOVE talking about and pointing out the little details about my favorite little guys!!

(also a quick note! I tend to describe things using examples/scenarios. If it gets a bit confusing, please don't be afraid to ask me about anything <3)

Nezha, specifically the LMK version of him, brings me a kind of stability and comfort that no other character really does/ever has. The comfort derives from sort of a combination between his general presence/movement, ideals and actions.

Have you guys ever met someone who just OOZES stability? They're dependent, and manage situations with grace, even despite their own troubles?

That's the kind of guy I read Nezha as! He's a noble guy with a stable moral compass, and he's self-assured in his actions and his righteousness, however, he's not afraid to admit his own wrongs when they pop up. He's stubborn, sure, but not to a fault. Despite knowing of Wukongs reckless behavior, he entrusts the responsibility and himself to Wukong’s plan(s). And to be honest, what deity in this show is NOT a bit stubborn?

Nezha is everything I'm not, and I ADMIRE that so much. There is something comforting in watching him whenever he comes on screen, because he is what every other deity pretends to be. He is just an honest guy, and honestly what's better than that? 

He's just the type of guy you could trust wholeheartedly!

Again, I could be reading his character wrong. Rewatching LMK always makes me notice new things about characters that provide a new context to them, and Nezha is no different. 

But that's absolutely okay with me, because that means I get to re-explore all these characters over again!

But for my current impression of Nezha, I read him as a stern guy with a heart of gold!

I could imagine, even if he was on duty, he'd be the type to help out if someone asked him for a hand. He'd probably hesitate, but only because leaving his post probably feels like sacrilege to him, but in the end he can't neglect a person in need of a hand. He's a generally kind, nice and reliable guy, but betraying that trust would make him incredibly doubtful of whoever slighted that trust, for a long while. His trust is preserved for those who deserve it. He seems to be a good judge of character, and wont give his full trust to those who are suspicious.

I also just feel like he's the stern type, that actually hides a side that's more cheeky, but in fear of becoming a joke or looked down upon, he represses that side of him.

I don't know how to really express exactly what I mean with all of this, but I generally just love him so much for being such a stable, kind, responsible and grounded character!

Something about him screams safety, and I'm genuinely so sad that I didn't pay him much mind on my first watch.

Aside from his general character, his design also just SCREAMS comfort and happiness to me!

The Pretty pinks and teal speaks to his calmness and general kindness and goodness, while the bright reds give a hint of his ferocious battle skills and power. And perhaps his temper, but I don't really think he has much of a temper. He gets a bit annoyed, but if i'm being honest, i would get a bit irked too if someone who could help wasn't taking something, possibly dangerous, seriously.

Beside his pleasing color scheme, his general shape-language is GORGEOUS and i love it so much! His hairstyle specifically makes me so happy! It's so beautiful!

He's also just generally really fun to draw, which adds a lot when it comes to a character's appeal for me.

This is just a minor detail, but I thought I'd add it anyway : His english voice BRINGS ME SUCH JOY! His voice is such a perfect fit for the kind of person he is! (tbh all the english voices are perfect, but specifically Nezha's voice strikes a chord with me.)

Oooooh more questions from the ask meme super happy to answer! A few of these are duplicated from the ones I answered yesterday and also another one in the inbox so I will talk a little more about them :D

1.) "Do you tend to exaggerate belly size or capacity? If so, how far from realism do you like to stray?"

I stray far away from realism tbh like with size I struggle to get belly sizes exactly how my mind pictures them (mainly because my art skills arent the best so I have a harder time getting them to look the way I picture them) but I am not really into the hyper side of things drawing wise I prefer to keep it big enough that its a nice round tum but also depending on the character sit differently on them like with Emile being as short and small framed as he is he defo carries big and I tend to try to make him a little bigger than say Eddie (though its quite tricky cause again my art style!) But it's fun to be able to try out new things and hopefully get stuff conveyed the best I can! As for capacity I am UNREALISTIC to say the least XD

A lot of my characters preg wise have some very strange anatomy allowing for multiple pregnancies (multiple wombs, wombs with segmented sections each able to carry a different pregnancy etc.) Tbh I just kinda go with what feels fun and like even when I have just a regular set up its still pretty unrealistic but that's what makes it so fun! Stuffing wise Eddie is the only character I dabble in that with and he defo can eat a lot more than it looks like he can and he deeply regrets it with the issues with his digestive system as a whole on his build sometimes a big capacity makes it a lot trickier especially as preg as he is!

11.) "Do you have any favorite words or phrases relating to the belly?"

I answered this one yesterday but why not expand upon it a little bit more cause I do have more things I love to say with regards to bellies XD I love "egg laden" when it comes to ovi just the sound of it in my head when I read it out makes me imagine just how many eggs a fella is carrying the words " gravid middle" put together for me are also a HUGE soft spot I love that and I tend to see it more so nowadays and it makes me happy just it's such a nice term and it's so much fun to put it in writing too!

A weakness and something I adore is when a character exclaims "I'm so pregnant.." just my goodness that is such an absolute delight to think about like its so cute to imagine a character just really really heavy with whatever it is and declaring that to themselves or even a partner and being embarrassed by it idk its cute!

And honestly nothing beats the word heavy when describing belly like its a simple word but it can help get that imagery in your head to pop especially combining it with how a character waddles about being so full of whatever they are carrying its just really fun! (I spend a lot of time thinking about these things tbh so I probably sound silly XD lol)

14.) "Are your characters into the kink themselves, or are they just unwitting vehicles for it?"

Oooh this is a fun one!!

Emile is definitely into pregnancy as a kink (speciifically himself being pregnant) he will never ever admit to this or own up to it if questioned but like based on what he does for his career and also his on the side pregnancy modeling stuff he absolutely is into it! Plus being as he is also a surrogate for various cryptid/monster/etc. while learning about them and spending time understanding their various cultures and stuff for his writing he can indulge in all the pregnancy traditions that all of these creatures practice while also being able to enjoy his own growing form as it goes on though he wont admit that part of it XD It also is sorta just a default state for him as he has some pretty tricky lore with his permanent pregnancy and embracing that enjoyment of pregnancy also helped him kind of in a way come to terms with the situation he is in with that particular pregnancy because he is always going to be pregnant in some way shape or form and him enjoying it makes it more comforting for him! Also when Emile models he may not like promote that part of his life but he is always fond when he gets reviews that say his photos are nice even if he will deny its him when his stream chat claims to have seen them XD Emile is kinda just a big dork in this aspect honestly <3

Eddie is DEFINITELY unwitting in both cases of stuffing and pregnancy. He never knew he was the type of android he is and so his pregnancy was quite the shock to him and he adamantly denies it and when his egg laying cycles started to kick in alongside it well that just made it alllll the more tricky and worse ;v; He does grow to love his babies after a long while but he will never admit to his pregnancy and struggles with it as he gets bigger and as he has to try and cover for it more and more. The stuffing aspect is the same it ties into the pregnancy too because he started up the lie that he was gaining quite the tummy because he adores food and loves to eat and it leads him into all sorts of scenarios where he has to keep up that front so he will eat even if he doesn't exactly want to while knowing he will have some tricky times in the future when it comes to digesting all that food and just how active his babies get from the energy that eventually goes to them when he does digest! Eddie is the type that if his pregnancy became brought to attention even with someone he is close with he would be far too flustered to find the kink in it just embarrassed and trying to hide it but also in time who knows he might warm up to it with the right person!

Tbh when it comes to belly stuff I am honestly not super sure what counts as tropes honestly lol But like maybe first kicks or just noticing the growth of the tum could count because I do love those a lot! Also in stuffing cases a character being too full but making up excuses that awww one more bite cant hurt is another I love I just find it cute <3 Scenarios though whooo doggy I love so many XD But one I will highlight here is just surprise pregnancy like a character just thinks they are putting on weight but nope its a surprise monster pregnancy or something like that idk that scenario has always been one I really enjoy! Like just the character having to figure it out and learn what is going on and what their reaction would be is fun like because the possibilities are almost endless with what can be done in that scenario :3

At a certain point, I was less looking for chemistry and more looking for them being somewhat tolerant of each other? It was that bad. The J*bitha effect should be studied. Should I ever take a pop culture course, I will do an analysis on this very phenomenon, and why instead of saying "oh, this is actually the most unpopular pairing CW wide and is dragging the most popular character down, maybe we should end this" they just pressed in harder. Truly incredible. Could only be the work of a mediocre man failing up.

As to why, well...you know what my opinion on this is controversial, as is my wont and my reputation but I'll stick it behind a cut anyway.

First of all, part of it is acting ability. I'm sorry, I have nothing against her as a person, but Erinn Westbrook is not a good actress. She just isn't. In her earlier scenes as more of a side character, they could get away with it because she wasn't on screen much and was kinda propped up by other, better actors? But Cole is the kind of actor that needs a good scene partner. Lili is one of the most talented actors, so they work well as a pairing. But Erinn...she just reads her lines. It is truly to her detriment that they had more scenes with her in later episodes. She and Cole can't pull any genuine responses out of each other, and the chemistry dies there. It's not just Cole, too. In her scenes with Cami, you can see Cami trying to pull some genuine responses out of her and getting nothing. Again, nothing against Erinn as a person. Maybe she'd do better in other roles, who knows. But this was in my mind a contributing factor to why JT was so bad. Also, while I don't think the actors disliked each other and don't think there was any sort of drama on set, I think they did have different personalities and they don't strike me as the type that would hang out ordinarily if given the choice. That's pure spec, but yeah.

I think the other elements just came down to bad writing, bad storylines and whatever the opposite of lightning in a bottle is. A perfect storm for good, but kinda the opposite as a perfect storm for bad.

I don't like BA obviously but at least it appeared they could stand to be in the same room? It was quite a time that season. Part of what made the OGs work is it paired up weaker actors with stronger actors, but they threw all that in the trash in 5 and 6 and paired their weak actors together. And the result was....this.

-right off the bat he's a big fan of your height. It's perfect for him to rest his elbow on your head and use you as an armrest because he likes to see you all flushed

when mc denies that its them and they have no idea what he is talking about? he just smirks and probably says something to make them blush or that catches them off guard, maybe even something /suggestive/.

Mammon: 

this Man? absolutely clueless about where they came from. but will brag about how THE great Mammon of course would get romantic poetry (even if its not romantic) 

probably comes up with an entire plan to catch who it is. luckily his spills this plan to them, and honestly anyone in ear shot and thus their never caught. 

if during that time Mammon stops receiving letters/poems he most certainly will be a little sad. maybe assume it was a prank.

thus making when he finds another one much more exciting. thus making him even more determined the sender of such letters/poetry. thus getting better at not spilling his plans to catch them as easily. 

If he does catch them, its probably in the act of dropping off or hiding another letter and its he is like aha, I the great mammon have caught you read handed! of course you’d want to send the me romantic letters!

honestly super embarrassed that he didn’t realize sooner but so happy it was them in the end

isn’t sure if he wants to find out who the sender of the letters, he doesn’t want to scare them away. but he also really wants to know. probably goes back and forth on this a lot

Probably tries to keep it a secret from the others because he doesn’t want the others to make a big deal out of it. he also doesn’t want to be teased by them. 

probably gets a kick out of the rather interesting ways they get to him considering he isn’t out and about as much as the others and he is usually hyper aware of his surroundings. though he is probably just as confused at the different ways they get to him.

when he finally figures out who it is he is embarrassed even more, maybe a little bit grateful, will beg them not to stop sending them tbh- he might even offer to write some in return- he’d decorate them with like bubble and fish stickers. 

Satan:

he is pleasantly surprised, definitely keeps them, BUT will go full detective mode to figure out who is sending them. 

Might set up a camera to figure it out otherwise, so it probably wont take him long to figure out who it is. 

will ask why they didn’t just directly give them to him, might tease them a little bit.

He does just hand them an equally sappy and cute letter back after though. He probably has his own custom wax seal stamp and like everything. he definitely includes a like dried out flower or something in the seal. 

have fun falling in love all over again because that’s what reading it is gonna feel like at the least.

Probably not the first time for him not gonna lie, probably wont be the last. so he probably doesn’t realize their a little bit different and more special till he’s received a few of them that are similar and signed the same or something

Absolutely loves the attention to detail. probably already has a place to keep letters like these, but after he realizes the trend might get them a box of their own to have on his vanity. 

absolutely enlists the help of Satan his best friend and most trusted brother to help him find the sender of these letters, because after a while he is just dying to know which cutie is sending him such delightful letters.

he probably doesn’t write back as much as levi and satan but when he does it is very over the top- maybe a little long. but he really does cherish and take care of the letters and probably rereads them all the time.

honestly probably confused, might as the others if they know where they came from. the others most certainly make a bigger deal out of it then him. 

you can talk to him in private if you don’t want the others to be aware of what’s up and he’ll just tell the others nm its fine I figured it out. and just not answer any of their questions if they have any.

Keeps them under his pillow, maybe under his mattress, or beside drawer just somewhere he deems safest to keep them without fear of losing them.

Likes looking at them because they bring back very fond memories between the two of you. He's likes how simple and sweet they are and just the sight of them brings him into a better mood.

Definitely finds different ways to return the sentiment. It might be small gifts that help you continue the hobby or any other hobby. Like a fancy pen that reminds him of you.

He probably won't admit it but like he does collect them and like hoard them. Like in a shoe box in the closet. He kind of cherishes them and uses them to remind him that things are necessarily as bad as he thinks it is.

Fragrant flowers are her favorite: lilies, gardinas, jasmine, honeysuckle, plumeiras, lilacs, roses ect. Lilies in particular.

A bouquet with lilies as the centerpeice with nice, chunky greenery and depending on season some sunflowers/roses/peonies or a variety of lilies

plant symbolism varies so much depending on source and color im not going to go into it

A bit of a trouble-maker tbh. She and Arlo were a menace to have in the same class together as children (they were only taught together b/c they were the same age)

Best subject was the Arts in general, liked geography. Bad at maths and would try to skip those lessons

Music theory could be difficult but she found it rewarding and likes to write her own music

Found herself enjoying sciences as well but wasn't great at it.

Generally, she'll pick a cute sundress that tapers in at her waist and is cut low at the front. Length from cocktail to tea. Maybe a cute cardigan

Grew up in a borderline tropical climate so doesn't know how to dress for cold: does not have a cold outfit

Has never had a lot of choice in what her closet holds. while she can give a bit of input but it's not like she went shopping for her own clothes so there will be a bit of an adjustment period now that she can shop for herself

It's difficult for her to admit to much more then a preference for dresses and skirts but likes to show off what she considers to be assets and prefers high quality fabrics (this one is very very hard to get out of her and she likely wont admit it b/c she feels greedy)

Even if Vexx hadn't done what he did she wouldn't trust easily

Growing up in the family and culture she did it just wasn't an option

Was often 'backstabbed,' there are a few instances where her siblings (mostly celest and arlo) would pretend to make friends with her just to get something or fuck with her or as a fun game

Guards and servants would often report her when she would wander off somewhere she shouldn't be or doing something she wasn't supposed to do

So trust is in short supply

However, she is learning that she's fiercely loyal to the people she cares about and a little selfish: if she had to chose between a person she loved dearly and the world she would chose the person with little hesitation.

The music box Nerissa gave her has been her most prized possession since she received it. Katiya usually hates getting gifts but this was a kind reminder that even if her sister wasn't there, she was: a comfort

She would get little things and hide them in her room as momentous as well, a habit we see being carried on now. She doesn't have to hide them in a box under a tile under the bed now though

The knife we receive from Damon just before Teraninum is important to her as well: no one had ever given her the means to even try to defend herself before. Although it was a pragmatic decision on Damon's part, it means something to her and that knife is never something he's getting back.

🚲 BICYCLE - can they ride a bike? what do they remember from learning to ride a bicycle?

No :) she can't drive anything either.

It would be a cute idea to have Vexx teach her while they were in the city but I think the risk of injury would have dissuaded them

Is petty. Is usually good at hiding it but when she lost her memory she didn't have that filter. It came out in pointedly ignoring Cal at times and picking Damon to run errands with her when he made snide comments

Would hide in the large fountains at the palace at times. I hc them as salt water and having plantlife/corals/fish in them so with her green hair she fit right in

(NSFW) Katiya is very open to experimentation in regards to sex, including threesomes/group sex. Down the line she, damon, alisa, and zane hook up (assuming everyone survives).
