The three eyed cat is actually my first “official” tattoo on skin I did as an apprentice! (Bill was a sneaky stick and poke I did in college OTL)

Creeper is from a friend/fellow tattoo artist who I trade tattoos with a bunch (but we still pay each other bc BILLS…), party dragon was from a dragon tattoo trade, worm on a string was from a friend who’s apprenticeship started same time as mine, pink axolotl is from my coworker who is sooooo freakin cool….i aspire to be like her so much…. And anime eyes heart gal is from a super cool friend that I went to college with! We reunited when I started tattooing and got a lot of laughs on how long it took to get our degrees and now we aren’t even “using” them HAHSG

And finally my VERY first tattoo I ever got, the big ufo abducting a pumpkin!!

This was done by Kelly McGrath in North Carolina and she was so sosososo sweet, gave me free prints, let me video call some of it to my family because we were VERY very far away from each other, AND I got to tell her years and years later that she inspired me so much that I became a tattoo artist myself!! And I even got to ask her a question or two and she responded so nice :,,)

SO YEAH I don’t have much rhyme or reason to my picks besides preferring color tattoos to be the majority, but my goal now is to collect tattoos from some very cool people and take my time filling up my body with art!! Eventually I would like to extend to my hands (palms included) and feet (JUST THE TOP I AM NOT DOING MY SOLES), neck, body, and maybe a few on my face near the outer perimeter/outer corner of eyes/above eyebrows! "Lunar's SECRET PLAN" Episode! (Me Gushing Over an LAES Episode)

MY GOD, I ADORED today's episode of the Lunar and Earth show. Dazzle being a helpful bean, Sun being a big brother (no pun intended), Earth being a goofball, Lunar being a lit--UH, I mean, fun-sized trickster grump, GIANTS IN THE DAYCARE--I LOVE IT!

And I thought Lunar and Earth helping Sun with his goose magic was funny! Earth's "sibling dynamic" line is so true. It's practically her catchphrase by now, but I sure ain't complainin'! :D

Lunar actually did fool me the first time he did the thing when they were by the ball pit. I didn't even realize he did it again before it became obvious. I'm around 5' 2'' years so I can relate to Lunar's frustration, but if we're small then WE ARE GOING TO BE PROUD OF IT, DAMMIT! And he DID have a bit of a sense of humor about it, mimicking the Jaws theme when in the ball pit after Earth pointed out that only the top of his head was visible.

And MY GOD, Sun/Happy Boy was SUCH a butt of a big brother. XD It was freaking funny how merciless he was with the teasing. I mean, he started it around less than one minute into the video! Maybe he was a bit mean, but he was genuinely apologetic when he thought he went too far.

It was nice that Sun was having a good day, joking and laughing. I mean, he was ACTUALLY laughing, not just wheezing or huffing a few times. I'm super proud of him. His problems and trauma aren't over, but he's still come a long way.

NOW FOR EARTH: I LOVE Earth's sense of humor. I love how hammy and silly she is, first was the whole "L-L-L-L-LUNAAAR~!" from the last laes lore episode, then today it was her "I have been learning PROOOGRAMMING!"

I wish I was half as confident as she is about putting the energy into the silliness. It's in my range of humor, and sometimes I can be hammy in front of others but I can also backtrack. I just get worried people think it's stupid instead of silly and that I'm being stupid. I just need people who I trust to really know me, I guess.

ANYWAY! BACK TO THE FUN STUFF!

I thought of a good nickname for Lunar: BLUEBERRY MOONCAKE!

Feeling bored and unmotivated in posting stuff (and probably in a need for some interaction with fellow moots/followers). Saw a post on Twitter on everyone sharing their cartoon crushes. (In case you missed it!)

I decided to be brave and share my fictional crushes! 😖🫡 Feel free to either agree or roast me! (Civically of course!) I'd love to see others fictional crushes and gush over them as well! So don't be shy in sharing them under the replies!

So to first start off...

Yami Yugi/Atem (Yu-Gi-Oh! DM/DSOD) | Main Crush - My first anime fictional crush 💜✨🌟 (and still is to this day! And has been recently the cause for all those self ship/self insert reblog posts on my other blog, as embarrassing as it sounds....) This man has inadvertently popped back into my brain all of sudden and slowly got me back to hyper fixating on YGO, (in the year of our lord saviour 2024), specifically for him 💜! There's really a plethora of reasons why I enjoy and appreciate him as a character (ie his personality, aura, kindness, complexity and flaws as a character, his voice - both in English and Japanese 😳 etc. - if anyone's interested maybe I might make a seperate post about it and share my headcanons for him perhaps)

2. Seto Kaiba (Yu-Gi-Oh! DM/DSOD) - Do I really need to say anything? 🤷🏾‍♀️ Same reasons applied as Yami/Atem really! The guy’s iconic, what can I say?

3. Dartz (Yu-Gi-Oh! DM) - Unpopular opinion/hot take but I think he’s pretty underrated as a villain (fuck him for making Yami Yugi cry + manipulating him and everyone else - Affectionately?? Just so my words don’t get twisted out of context, I’m appreciating him as a villain/character here, so don’t get it twisted). Is the story a hit or a miss or is it necessary? Can’t really say for sure, sorry🤷🏾‍♀️.

It’s been a long time I watched YGO, so go easy on me and take it with a grain of salt. All I will say honestly, is that I really like his design, him as a character (I think there’s a lot of missed potential that could’ve been explored more) and his voice (English preferably, Wayne Grayson’s performance as Dartz really did it for me! No hate towards the Japanese VA/Dub, just a preference towards his eng voice)

4. Pantalone (Genshin Impact) - Okay, so here’s the thing with him…If I happen to come across a guy with this much drip, charm and mysterious aura, with glasses to boot than I’m already sold! I haven’t played much Genshin in a long time, so I’m not sure what role he plays into the story. (I’d love to hear your thoughts and theories, though no spoilers please! 😊)

I’ve only seen snippets of clips and fanart of him and the fatui from here and there, but I hope he’s playable in the near future.

If Arlecchino (Father - MORE LIKE DADD-), can become playable in the future, then so can he (among other fatui members, aside from Childe).

5. Boothill (Honkai Star Rail) - I don't know about you guys, but ever since he's been leaked (and now recently added to the game have seen his character trailer - the way he just sauves and moonwalked like the smooth criminal he is did it for me!) I just adore him - Design, personality, voice everything! I love me a spunky, sassy rootin tootin space ranger cowboy that loves to cause havoc and chaos! (and serves cun-) I just think he’s neat! (Also is it just me or does his theme song in the character trailer sounded something you would hear in a freakin Ford Truck Commercial, his theme screams pure “America. Freedom, F yeah!” Vibes. PLEASE TELL ME I’M NOT THE ONLY ONE THAT THINKS THIS?! I JUST FIND IT FUNNY TO ME)

6. Miguel O'Hara (Across The Spiderverse) - Haven’t seen the movie yet (dw I plan to watch it but PLEASE NO SPOILERS!) but this man is everywhere and I don’t blame you! I’ve seen fanart/edits of him (especially ones whenever they show his fangs 😳👀) and honestly it’s on me because I been rewatching ColeyDoesThings video on him and it immediately got me back to start watching the spider verse movies (it’s on my to do list) So thanks Coley! (You should go check out her YouTube videos on everything fandom related, it’s great!)

1. What color do you associate with them? Gray. All hues of gray. It's actually his favorite color. He finds it's pretty peaceful and calming.

2. What animal do you associate with them? Mainly foxes but also Shiba Inus. I don't really know why specifically Shibas but every time I see one I just instantly think, "Yeah, that man would be a Shiba Inu if he was a dog." Lol not even a Norway based breed of dog, a freakin' Shiba Inu.

3. What element do you associate with them? Lightning and thunder. Nothing really deep about why that element. Fire is wild but it's angry and I guess it would make sense to associate him with fire given his hair color and name (even though that particular god has never done anything to be associated with fire. I'm really confused as to why people think he's the god of fire but whateves). But lightning and thunder are powerful, it can be destructive but it's not all consuming and above all it's wild.

4. What flower/plant do you associate with them? Flower: Jasmine. I read somewhere that it's a flower associated with healing and helping with anxiety and it's symbolism is so spot on for the type of person he is.

5. What part of their appearance do you associate with them the most? His red wavy hair, pale green eyes and freckles. Mostly the freckles though. He's got little spots everywhere and as biased as that may seem I think it's absolutely adorable!

6. What hobby do you associate with them? Video games. That's literally his favorite thing to do in his spare time. Will happily spend hours on end playing video games. He, Jelani, Sanaa and Ingvarr each have a Switch and play either Stardew Valley, Animal Crossing New Horizons or Monster Hunter together. Yeah, time zones (Loke and Jelani are in Maine while their parents are back home in Norway, 6 hour difference) are a bitch but they make it work.

7. What school subject do you associate with them? Math. He's scarily good at it without even trying. Can do just about any calculations in his head without using visual aid. He'd seriously be that kid in school with A+ in math but on everything else he'd have low Bs and Cs.

Doom Schneider and his crazy antics playing drums, Live aus Berlin style

I'm not joking, this man is the sole reason why I want to learn to play drums now

I'm doing an art mentoring with a very skilled friend of mine who I pity endlessly for having to put up with my crazy antics and inspirations when it comes to drawing. After a whole 2 and a half hours class on lights and shadows, she asked me if I was frying already and I HAD to draw Schneider frying on his drums.

'Cause the thing I look forward the most whenever watching a Rammstein live video is Schneider frying on his drums (that in my country means something like "playing like crazy and forgetting the whole world exists"). I freakin' adore it and now I want to learn to play Sehnsucht to fry as well <3

Now on a more technical aspect, this is the very first time I studied someone's face and poses a LOT before drawing without ANY reference regarding face and pose.

(Breakdown of my study process to get to the final result under the cut in case anyone wants to learn to do it! If you have any questions, feel free to ask me ;D)

I creeply took a dozen pics of his face and mapped all the shapes - mainly his nose, mouth, face shape, eye sockets and eye shapes and jaw - to find out what makes Schneider look like Schneider. My conclusion was, all features are important, yes, but when it comes to simplification, his nose and his mouth are key.

Regarding his pose, I took at least a dozen prints of him playing Sehnsucht live aus Berlin and traced all of them to understand his mannerisms. First sketch I made didn't look like him 'cause Schneider doesn't really hunch while playing - he has a very good posture actually. It also helped getting his body shape right.

I mean, we artists are really creepy when it comes to studying another person, it's a fine line between being an artist and a psycho, don't feel bad about it

Then I sketched the pose and, when drawing the face, I mapped all the shapes I had already studied to figure out where it would all go and the sizes regarding my drawing. Then the rest was the linework, coloring and learning to use dynamic light/shadows as well as ambient and rim light.
