I don't think I've ever seen this much hype around just the BLURB of a new wc arc before, all these cool predictions/ideas are exciting!! I can't wait for us all to be inevitably disappointed when moonpaw is a gray cat with blue eyes playing the role of sad anxious medicine cat #4 and the voice haunting her is actually ashfur (back from th water) and its her mission to go find the moonBush and in order to do that we have to go through 400 pages of walking to the tribe

How (if at all) has Temp changed after the whole "being burned at the stake because the french were salty" deal

Well for one I think he has a big fear of fire now naturally and (I forget to draw this constantly but) burn scars over half of his body not just on his face. He’s kinda self conscious about em and has his bad confidence days but he’s learning how to love himself more these days and it’s getting better :)

I also wanna go the really angsty route and say that because of the smoke inhalation damage to his lungs - he can’t sing beautifully like he used to and even his speaking voice is raspier and a bit quiet now

He and France are very cold and barely civil to each other now - everyone knows not to leave those two in a room together alone. More often than not Gil ends up being the default mediator between em lol

Alright actual last one because the arcs after Po3/OotS was where I fell off hard from the series. Do I hear tidbits of later arcs? Yeah, but I don’t really mess with them.

the three way sword fight owns me forever. top moments are of course the wheel (idiots!!! get off the wheel!!!) but i am also obsessed with the short sequence of the shot of will and james from a distance when they're fighting on the top of the wall and the music lines up perfectly

wedding of all time. i mean all of the maelstrom is peak cinema but man. The Wedding.

the isla de muerta cave fight! i mean shoutout to the navy guys having to grapple with the fact that they're battling skeletons but the fighting in the cave is so good. there's a reason everyone gifs the moments of jack and barbossa going through the bits of moonlight and flashing on and off skeleton mode

the bit in awe when it flashes back and forth between jack and beckett making their deal and then barbossa/elizabeth with sao feng. love the music building and especially when the flashes between scenes really get short

you know what. let's go with the prequel in cotbp. love seeing characters set up. elizabeth being there for will. gov swann being a good dad. james being a Competent Officer who is clearly just a teenager. i still can't stop thinking about when i saw it in theaters and noticed for the first time how gentle he is with will when he's set down on the deck
