I think I'm aroallo?
CW: sex mentions, talk about aroallo stereotypes
I think I'm aroallo. I've been identifying as aroace for a while now, but I keep saying to my girlfriend, "I feel like I might not be asexual after all." I've been saying that again and again for months. Her response is always, "You're probably not."
I don't question my aromanticism at all. It's one aspect of my identity that I'm very sure about. But my asexuality, on the other hand... I don't think that I'm really ace. I feel like I've been clinging to the asexual label because of the assumptions people make about aroallos. Being aroace is one thing, but being aroallo is a lot harder for me to accept.
People tend to assume that aroallos are always hypersexual, or always loveless, or always prioritize sex above all else when it comes to their relationships with people. And all of those things are valid experiences, but they don't apply to me personally.
I've been trying to put it into words... People think that a lack of romantic attraction necessitates an amplified sexual attraction. Like just because I'm aro, I must be "more sexual" than other allosexual people. It seems like people think sexuality has to be "balanced out" with romance. But I'm not particularly sexual; I'm just not ace.
Tangentially related, this idea that "no romantic attraction = amplified sexual attraction" also seemed really prevalent in SAM discourse a while back. One of the big arguments people used against romantic orientation labels was that they were "oversexualizing" sexuality labels or "reducing everything to sex" by separating the romantic aspect from the sexual aspect.
I'm talking about the people who would say shit like, "Why would you call yourself biromantic instead of bisexual? Are you implying that bisexual people only care about sex?" when they saw a biromantic ace. That sort of "logic."
And the implication with that argument is, if the tables were turned (i.e. they were bisexual and aromantic), it would be appalling to them. And it was especially paired with the assumption that sex - romance = oversexualized, in whatever way "oversexualized" may be defined. Lots of sex negativity mixed in with the discourse.
On another note, I've voiced my disdain for the Attraction Layer Cake elsewhere before. There are a lot of problems with it, but I'm going to focus on the "Crimson" part specifically: the crimson layer is the only option if you're aromantic without being asexual. That and "Red" I suppose, but the red layer could describe any allosexual orientation, whether aromantic or not.
Crimson is labeled as aromantic sexuality, which is a problem in and of itself. It should say aromantic allosexuality. But that's not the part I take the most issue with. I hate the description.
"The purpose of relationships is primarily sexuality. Romance is not specifically desired."
Again, there's nothing wrong with prioritizing or emphasizing sexuality. But that's not an inherent aspect of being aroallo, and it doesn't describe me personally. The primary purpose of my relationships is emotional connection. Sex is just a cool thing that I may or may not do with people.
Also, "relationships" is vague. Does it mean relationships in general, regardless of whether they're romantic, platonic, etc? In that case, that's a huge generalization of the many types of relationships aroallos may have.
Or does it specifically refer to romantic relationships? In that case, that's also a huge generalization, because it assumes aroallos will have romantic partners, and it implies that it's only okay to have sex with people if you're also romantically involved.
Aromantic people also have to deal with a lot of explicitly negative stereotypes. Manipulative, abusive, cruel. I feel like these assumptions get amplified when you're aroallo specifically. A lot of people think that explicitly wanting sex, without explicitly wanting romance, automatically makes you a horrible person. I'm too exhausted to even delve into these stereotypes.
All I'll say is, there's nothing wrong with wanting sex, and there's nothing wrong with having no desire for romance. Sexual attraction doesn't need to be "justified" via romantic attraction, and sex doesn't need to be "justified" via romance. As long as everyone is consenting and upfront with their intentions, whose business is it anyways?
I'm not 100% sure if I'm allosexual. But after months of saying, "I don't think I'm asexual after all," I think it's safe to say that I'm not aroace. Maybe I'm greysexual at most, but eh. Whether I'm allosexual or ace-spec, there's one thing I'm certain of: I'm more aro than I am ace, if I'm even ace-spec at all.
I'm sitting here sort of feeling... Out of place. Like, everywhere. I'm a romance-indifferent aroallo, who isn't heavily sexual, but still enjoys sex. It's sort of isolating, I guess. It would be reassuring to see more people with similar experiences.
Slightly unrelated, but my primary special interest is Littlest Pet Shop, and I love putting these little guys on pride flags. So, here's the aroallo flag with a bunny on it. Makes me happy despite all the confusion and conflicted feelings

Beyond the sword
Characters: Zoro x female reader
Total word count: 1205 words
Plot: poor clumsy and ashamed Zoro confronts the reader about his feelings during a lazy sunset on the Sunny.
Author's note: Let me know if you like it (: English isn't my first language so I apologise for any mistakes.
The sun was sinking low, casting a soft orange glow across the endless stretch of ocean. The Thousand Sunny sailed gently over the waves, its sails filled with a favorable wind. The day had been long, and the crew was scattered across the deck, resting after another day of training and adventure.
Y/N sat near the bow, her knees pulled up to her chest as she watched the sun slip beneath the horizon. The ocean had always been her sanctuary—the steady rhythm of the waves, the smell of salt in the air. It was constant, something she could rely on in a world of uncertainty.
She sensed his presence long before he spoke. Zoro was silent, his movements always purposeful and controlled, but there was a distinct aura about him that she could feel whenever he was near. He walked up quietly, his swords clinking softly against his side.
“Hey,” his voice came, gruff and low but not unkind, even though Zoro usually sounded grumpy and cold. “Mind if I sit here?”
She glanced over her shoulder at him, a small smile tugging at her lips. “Not at all.”
Zoro sat beside her, folding his legs beneath him as he leaned back against the railing, arms crossed. His eyes were sharp, focused on the horizon, though his expression remained neutral, almost unreadable. The weight of his presence was grounding, steady like the ocean itself.
“You don’t usually come to watch the sunset,” Y/N noted, trying to read his mood.
Zoro grunted in response, a faint smirk curling one corner of his mouth. “Usually I’d like to practice at this hour. Last night, I couldn’t sleep and trained, so today I have to rest a bit,” he explained.
“So that’s what all the noise last night was about,” she joked. “And I thought it was just Luffy searching for food in the kitchen again.” Zoro couldn’t help but smile at her answer, imagining the scene she just described.
She smiled softly at that, her gaze returning to the sea. It was peaceful, in a way that life aboard the Thousand Sunny often wasn’t. But with Zoro, peace took on a different meaning—calm and unspoken, like the silence between the crashing waves.
For a while, neither of them spoke. The only sound was the gentle lapping of the water against the ship’s hull. Y/N found comfort in the silence, in Zoro’s quiet presence beside her. He wasn’t one for small talk, but his presence spoke volumes in its own way.
“You’re not even drinking tonight,” she observed after a while, her tone light but curious.
Zoro huffed lightly, his gaze still fixed on the horizon. “Told you, I needed rest tonight,” he said, his voice a bit softer than usual.
She turned to look at him, studying the lines of his face, the way his eyes seemed distant despite his usual stoic demeanor. Zoro wasn’t the type to get lost in his thoughts—or at least, he didn’t show it often. But something about him tonight felt different. More introspective.
“Then why aren’t you snoring somewhere else?” she asked, chuckling. Zoro smiled softly. Had it been Sanji who said something like that, he would have already punched him, but with her, he felt a sense of home he hadn’t experienced in a long time.
“Something on your mind?” she asked, her voice gentle.
Zoro was silent for a moment, his brow furrowed slightly as he considered his response. “Just… thinking about where we’ve been,” he finally said, his voice rough but thoughtful. “And where we’re going.”
Y/N nodded, understanding the weight of his words. The crew had faced countless battles, impossible odds, and yet, here they were, still standing, still fighting. She knew Zoro carried the weight of his ambitions heavily, but he rarely talked about it.
“And what about you?” Zoro asked, his voice a little quieter now. “You’ve changed too, y’know.”
Y/N blinked, surprised by his observation. “Me?”
He nodded, finally turning his gaze toward her, his eyes sharper than usual. “You’ve gotten stronger. And not just with a sword.” There was a rare hint of admiration in his voice, though it was subtle, as if he wasn’t used to giving compliments so openly.
Y/N felt warmth rise in her chest at his words. Coming from Zoro, the one person whose respect was earned through skill and resolve, it meant more than she could say. “I’ve had good teachers,” she replied with a small smile, her eyes meeting his.
Zoro gave a small grunt in response, though there was a flicker of something in his eyes that she couldn’t quite place—something deeper than his usual detached demeanor.
“Zoro,” she said, her voice soft as she looked at him more closely. “What are you really thinking about?”
He hesitated for a moment, his jaw tightening as if he was weighing his words carefully. Then, with a deep breath, he let his arms drop to his sides, his fingers drumming against the wood of the deck. “You,” he admitted quietly, his eyes never leaving hers. “And what you mean to me.”
Y/N felt her heart skip a beat at his words. Zoro was never one to express himself easily, especially when it came to emotions. For him to say something like that… it was as raw and honest as he could get.
“You’re important,” Zoro continued, his voice rough but sincere. “I’ve trained my whole life for one thing—becoming the world’s greatest swordsman. But somewhere along the way, you… you became a part of that, too.”
His confession hit her like a wave, overwhelming and intense. Zoro wasn’t the type to be sentimental, but his words carried a weight that made her chest tighten. He didn’t need to say more—she could feel the depth of his feelings in every word.
Y/N swallowed hard, unsure of what to say in response. But she didn’t need to. Zoro leaned closer, his gaze locked on hers, his usual stoic mask slipping just enough to reveal the vulnerability beneath. “You don’t have to say anything,” he murmured, his voice low. “Just… know that.”
She nodded, her hand instinctively reaching out to rest on his. The connection between them was palpable, as if the sea itself had stilled in recognition of the moment they were sharing.
For a brief second, Zoro hesitated. Then, with a quiet intensity, he leaned in closer, his lips brushing against hers in a way that was both hesitant and fierce. The kiss was different from what she might have expected—controlled, deliberate, yet filled with the quiet passion that Zoro always carried with him.
When they finally pulled apart, Zoro’s forehead rested against hers, his breath warm and steady. “I’ve never been good with this kind of thing,” he muttered, his voice rough around the edges. “But I meant every word.”
Y/N smiled, her hand still resting on his, her fingers tracing the callouses on his skin. “So did I.”
And for a moment, the world around them faded away—the crew, the sea, everything. It was just them, wrapped in the quiet of the night, the ocean stretching out endlessly before them as they faced whatever came next together.

Gojo x fem!reader, Geto x fem!reader
Part 3
Previous part
Word count: 3.2K
Summary: after a talk with Geto Gojo realizes few things and even though he plans on doing better he decides to give both himself and you a little break before trying to ask for forgiveness. Geto however has a plan of his own.
Warnings: bad grammar (possibly), typos, angst, very little comfort

By the time their little "therapy" ended the sky outside changed from clear blue to cloudy gray. One would think rain will fall any minute now. The only thing that fell however was the air preassure.
Since Gojo was always one of the sensitive ones he quickly fell asleep. Geto offered him his big bed to take a nap in but Gojo proclaimed "he deserved to sleep on a floor for what he did". They settled on a compromise in a form of a couch. As Gojo was snoring away, more mentally tired than physically, Geto got into thinking. His entire conversation with his best friend took a mental toll on him too.
Thinking back to his relationship with you, he never really spotted any problems. The amount of times Geto spaced out while Gojo gushed about you at the begining of the relationship made it seem like he would set the world on fire if you as much as hinted you felt a little cold. He just couldn't wrap his head around how Gojo could fuck all of that up in the span of one day. Or several years. Has he been like this since the begining? When did Gojo start lying about you being too busy to hang out with him and Shoko? Was there a breaking point for Gojo? Did you do something that made him realize he just isn't the type for serious relationships?
For the first time in his life Geto Suguru couldn't answer any of these questions about his best friend.
Sun began to set. First raindrops hit the window. Soon a soft rain turned into a heavy storm. And yet even that couldn't wake Gojo up. 'He must be so exhausted,' Geto thought as he pulled a thin blanket over his sleeping figure. Even unconscious Gojo looked hurt. Geto was as well. Both from what happened and what he's about to do.
*
It has been a tough day on your mentality. After packing majority of your clothes into your favourite backpack you ran out the apartment with no real plan in mind. Nowhere to go either. You roamed the city for hours until you saw a short haired brunette girl smoking in the distance. After running up to her it turned out to not be Shoko to your disapointment. But it wasn't pointless. Noticing the girl made you remember Gojo and Geto's friend.
You walked to her place as if on autopilot, letting your muscle memory carry you. What would you say once you come to her door? She was the one to help you get together with Gojo in the first place. Did she know something like this would happen? She has known him for as long as Geto did.
The thought of Geto made you shiver. If it wasn't for him none of this would've happened! You were sure he was just enjoying pulling Gojo away from you, keeping him to himself and himself only. Did he ever planned on making you and Gojo break up? If so, he succeeded masterfully. You wondered if Gojo was sad even a little bit about you leaving, and if so if he was calling Geto about it, telling him he needs more time without him. You smiled. It would be nice if that was happening. Such a shame you won't find out.
Soon you arrived at a small house with old dark brown door and a worn out mat. The only thing that changed from your last visit was one of the windows at the front. Its glass was new. At the begining of your and Gojo's relationship Shoko and Geto wanted to have a small sleepover to get to know you better. Shoko was really warm and welcoming, so was Geto, even though in a lesser extent. He didn't touch you in any way, no hug nor hand shake, and when it came to laying out sleeping bags in the living room he placed his as far away from you as possible. Gojo then started teasing him and after all testosteron fully kicked in they ended up breaking one of the windows. You panicked and quickly looked over at Shoko. She just lit a cigarette and told you you'd get used to it.
You smiled. It was a nice memory. Back then when everything was simpler and somehow calmer. Still, one thing was weird to you. How Geto was pulling away from you since the begining.
You shook your head. First he started occupying your relationship and now your thoughts? No fucking way. He doesn't get to win. (A/N if you understood the reference you get a cookie 😉)
Your hand hovered a little above the old wood of Shoko's door but in the end decided to softly knock. You heard shuffling behind the door before surprised Shoko opened it, definitelly expecting someone else instead of you. She was dressed casually in jeans and some basic T-shirt, but you could tell she was trying to make herself look a little nicer than just 'casual'.
"Hi, what happened?" she asked and reached out to caress your cheek. You must've looked horrible.
You sighed and as best as you could explained the gist of what happened. Somehow you could do so in just three sentences and no crying. Did you already run out of all your tears?
She accepted you into her house and made you some calming lavender tea. "You can sleep over if you want," she said.
"Thank you. And sorry for bothering, I just... I had no other place to go," you admitted and sipped on the purple steamkng bevarage. You never had a lavender tea. Tasted like a hug in a mug. Something you desperately needed in these tough times.
"Don't worry about it," she rubbed your back comfortingly, "that's what friends are for."
You smiled at her and leaned into her hand. "You don't have to stay and take care of me. You were just about to go out, right?" You gestured at her face half covered in make up. Realizing you must've ruined her most-likely date made you feel even worse about yourself.
Shoko just waved her hand. "It was just a movie thing with Geto. It's fine tho, you need me more now."
She mentioned two things that broke you: Geto and you being put above all else. You collapsed into her arms and cried out bunch of apologies and words about ruining her chance at finding a relationship for herself. You weren't fond of Geto at all right now, but you knew Shoko and how single and alone she must've felt with her two male friends being always away.
Now that you think about it, you were surprised she even went above and beyond to help you. They were three before. Then came you and took Gojo away. And then Gojo took Geto away from her too. You felt sick. She was all alone because of you.
You must've said all of this out loud tho, because Shoko pulled you from a tight hug to an arm's length away from her and made you look into her eyes. "Don't. Just don't. You didn't make anyone leave me. Me being alone isn't your fault. If anything I should be thanking you. Those two have been hogging my free time for a long time and with them finally focusing on other things I had more time to study and got my grades from 'barely passing' to 'top of the class'. Besides, I was always more into femboys," she winked which made you laugh. Such a shame not everyone was like Shoko. She was truly a ride or die kind of girl.
You hugged her as tight as you could and just held her. Feeling another body's warmth brought you calmness, no matter who it belonged to.
Unfortunately, not every good thing lasts forever. And neither did this moment.
Shoko's phone vibrated. She pulled it put of her backpocket and looked at it. "Shoot, I almost forgot. Would you mind if I-?" she pointed at her phone with Geto's contact shining brightly on her screen.
You shook your head, even though seeing Geto's relaxed smile in that contact made your chest hurt. That bastard doesn't even know what he did.
Shoko smiled and walked into her bedroom to make the call. You stayed sitting her kitchen, sipping on your tea, looking around. There were little peaces of paper with some medical notes written on it taped on random places all around the place. You figured it must be her way of studying.
After a while she came back from her bedroom and sat across from you. "Gojo's at Geto's."
"Of course he is," you scoffed and went in to take a sip from your tea only to realize you've drank it all.
Shoko sighed. "Geto told me he'll speak with him," you rolled ypur eyes, "and quote 'take care, both of you'," she added.
You looked back at her surprised. "He what?"
Shoko smirked. "Not even gonna ask about your beloved boyfriend?"
You frowned. "Shoko, please stop."
"Sorry, I just wanted to lighten up the mood."
"And he's an ex."
Shoko raised her eyeybrows. "So, it's official now?"
"Yeah. I mean, packing your things and leaving couldn't be taken as anything else, right?"
It felt weird saying that. Ex boyfriend. You've had few in the past, but most of them were in your youth while you were still figuring out your place in the world. To be honest, you were still figuring it out but now you were a little closer to finding it out than before. You thought you would be able to find out completely with Gojo by your side. He wanted someone else by his though...
"Right," she answered.
The rest of the day was pretty calm. You talked, cooked something together, and then watched the rain drops race on a window. It felt nice. Not thinking about what was happening in your life.
As the night time approached so did tiredness. The entire day did its number on your psyche and you desperately needed to sleep it off. Shoko offered you her bed, making up an excuse she needs to study fro her upcoming exams, but you weren't having it.
"Listen girl, if you really want me to stay in my bed we can be in there together and cuddle," Shoko smirked as she helped you prepare the couch for the night.
"You snore so no thanks."
She stuck out her tongue at you and you giggled. It felt like having an older sister.
You both said goodnight and went off to sleep, her in her bed and you on her couch. You have slept on many couches but Shoko's was by far the softest. So warm, so comfy. You were minutes away from falling completely asleep when you heard a small ding, startling you wide awake.
It came from the kitchen. What dinging thing did Shoko have in the kitchen?
You turned on your side, thinking it was just a one time thing. Right as this thought bloomed in your head you heard two more dings.
Annoyed you dragged yourself to your feet and using your phone's flashlight tiptoed into the kitchen.
The noise source wasn't even trying to hide. Shoko's phone was shining like a lighthouse right under a window, where you both had your droplet race. You picked it up just as its screen turned black. You wouldn't want to read the messages as to not invade Shoko's privacy. Even if the curiosity was stronger.
Even though... it could be something from her school, right? It wouldn't hurt just to check. You'll bring it to her right after. Yeah, that's what you'll do!
You turned the phone on and you nearly puked. There was a notification about 3 new messages from Geto Suguru.
Do you want to know?
Yes you do.
You unlock the screen and went straight into messages.
hi, i just wanted to tell you i had a talk w/satoru and he's doing rly bad. he has no idea what he wants in life, but he also swore he never wanted to hurt Y/N. he also promised to become better and have a talk with her, so dont be surprised if he shows up at yours tmrw
oh and btw how is she doing
?
You stared at the phone. Should you reply? Should you just pretend you saw nothing and go back to sleep? As if you'd fall asleep after that. As horrible as it sounded you were kinda glad Gojo was doing bad. It showed he cared about you. And Geto saying he's willing to change for you? One part of you was glad things would go to normal. And the other one was screaming at you to notice the next sentence of Geto's message. Gojo has no idea what he wants in life. That little fact could be interpreted in so many ways.
Before you could think of any the phone in your hand dinged again. A new message.
y are you silent? i can see you reading this
Oh crap, you forgot he could see if the reciever read the message or not.
It was time to act. Pretend to be Shoko and find out stuff they would never tell you or admit you're you and risk losing the spicy information you could pull out of Geto.
As much as you hated to admit it Geto was really important for you right now.
"I'm so sorry Shoko," you whispered as you typed away.
I was just thinking, that's all. What exactly did Satoru tell you?
promise you won't tell Y/N? it would hurt her even more
Geto Suguru... cares about you?
Okay, I won't tell.
good, good. well basically he told me he has no idea what to do. that he doesnt want to choose any of us in fear of losing the one he doesnt choose. worst thing tho is i think he isnt really ready to be in a relationship. said he felt trapped but also not. idunno, it was messy
oh and did you know he lied all those times? everytime we invited both of them he said Y/N was too busy to attend, he told me he just wanted to feel like old times again.
They what? Invited you? You ahve to think fast. If you weren't you but Shoko, what would you reply?
Damn.
Yup, the only sensible thing coming to mind.
It worked though.
yeah, my thoughts exactly. how is she doing by the way?
You thought for a while. Then you began typing.
She's better. I made her a tea, talked with her, had fun.
okay, thats good
He wasn't replying for a while. You thought this was the end of it but then another message popped up.
i'm kinda surprised youre not saying anything
Check the clock mister, I'm tired.
i didnt mean that
Then what did you mean?
cheering me on in pursuit of Y/N
What the actual? Pursuit of you? In what way?
Your legs couldn't take it anymore so you sat down on the cold kitchen floor, head resting against one of the table legs. After your heartbeat slowed down a little you were ready to find out more.
As I said, too tired.
so all it took for you to stop teasing me about my crush was being too tired? where was this info three years ago?
Crush? Your fingers began to shake. This can't be. Geto Suguru, the source of your anxiety, the reason for your break up, the best friend of your now ex boyfriend has had a crush on you this entire time? And Shoko was teasing him because of this?
You have to keep a calm mind.
I don't think it's a good idea to act out right now.
yeah, no shit
what i said still stands tho
satoru is my best friend. and even if the girl that has been haunting my dreams the past few years is single now i cant possibly do it to him
You said it yourself, didn't you? Satoru doesn't know what he wants in life. What if he didn't want Y/N either?
You had to play these cards in order to find out more. More about Geto's crush, more about what Gojo really told Geto.
after what i heard today i think theres a possibility for that. but look, this is the first real relationship he has. that boy has been sheltered half of his life. tomorrow he will come to yours and have a chat with Y/N. the rest is up to her.
And what if she chooses to get back together with him? It would break your heart.
wouldn't be for the first time.
besides, as much as id want satoru to be single for a while to figure out his shit on his own i cant really wish Y/N told him to gtfo. at the begining she looked so happy
Geto...
yeah
You waited for a while but no more words came from Geto's end. The conversation died and you were even more confused than before.
*
Morning came. A sleepless night now behind you, Shoko's phone still in your hands and bunch of questions in our head. As well as anxiety.
What will you tell Shoko? Sorry girl, your phone wouldn't shut up so I impersonated you and texted with the best friend of y ex and also the reason why he's my ex in the first place and by the way when did you want to tell me he has had a crush on my and that's why he was acting all hot'n'cold with me ever since we met?
Even more, will Gojo really come and try to win your trust again? Before yoi read Geto's messages you would be even willing to try, but after? You weren't sure anymore. Especially after one specific sentence that kept you up all night. 'After what I heard today I think there's a real possibility of that.'
Shoko's bedroom door creaked open and in came a half asleep Shoko. Blindly filling up the tea kettle she turned to you. "Do you want some coffee?"
"No thanks," you said and placed the phone on the table infront of you. This will be bad. "Hey, Shokoy I have to tell you somethi-"
You were interrupted by loud knocking on the front door.
Both you and Shoko looked at the door than at eachother. Rubbing her eyes she walked over there and looked through the peep hole. "It's Gojo. Do you want me to let him in?"
You hesitated. Adrenalin was running high in your system, anxiety was clawing at your chest like never before.
And against all your better judgement you nodded.
A/N: i'm so sorry for ending it like this but it's really fucking late and i only have time at night to be creative... i don't know when the next chapter/chapters (i have at least three more planned) will come out but i promise i will try my best to post them by the time next monday comes. See ya ✌️

This is the anon with the LBD request. I copy pasted the plot again, just in case.
I was wondering if you could have the Fem S/O of MK, Red Son, Monkey King, and Macaque who gets possessed by LBD instead of that girl. Like one day after seeing their S/O, they suddenly disappear for hours, then days, then weeks, and they're now going on a desperate attempt to find them only to discover they've been possessed by LBD, and they're in desperate attempt to get them back leading up to their S/O being freed, and the aftermath of defeating LBD.
I'm sorry it took me a while to complete those because i was having small writer blocks. I'm sorry but i couldn't really do specific gender.
MK, Red son, Sun Wukong, Macaque.
Type: Angst
Summary:
The reader got possessed By LBD. How would the Monkeys and Red son react?
MK
He was.. sad, mad, and devastated at the same time. You, his insignificant other that he dearly loved, was taken from him and used against him.
He won't do a harder attack which gave LBD an advantage on her side since MK doesn't want to hurt you.
He would always plead and beg for you to snap out of LBD possession and come back.
C'mon man he's desperate, you're the only one he truly loves and he doesn't want you to go.
He loves you because you doesn't fuss about popularity just on dating someone who's under Monkey king wings. You love him because of him. And that's what he loves about you.
Yet now all he saw was you standing there looking down at him laughing, he knew it's not you. He knew but he seems to always think it was you.
He's upset, the others tried to hold him back. Screaming and crying as he tried to get you back.
Red son
Of all people.. of ALL people, it had to be you. He's in denial. He doesn't want to believe you're gone, he doesn't want to believe what is the truth.
He lost his parents in this chaos and destruction and now you?
He's in grief after accepting that you've been possessed, but not long. He'll go and promise to save you and his parents.
He'll try everything to get you back, even by helping MK and his friends. It's only a last desperate attempt to get you back.
He knows you're still there, he knows he's the one that's gonna get you back. It's only by time, and patience is the key.
He'll get you back no matter the cause and what he has to do, he'll get you back.
He promised and he'll fulfill that promise.
Sun wukong
Pain, pain all over. This man has hatred towards LBD now double it.
The moment he sees you he knows something was wrong. Trying to trick Him isn't that easy LBD.
You know that moment when he was in guilt for his actions? Yeah, now add you his guilt got the best of him even further.
He's going head on. On that one scene where he's about to get rid of LBD and the girl, he's definitely having second thoughts. It's you now in that girl possession.
Don't know but knowing this man, he's doing whatever he can to stop the evil. No not for civilization, not for the people. But for his own entertainment.
So 8/10 he will definitely sacrifice you to stop LBD.
Well until the table turns. You know what I meant.
Macaque
He's speechless, he doesn't know how to react or feel. Out of all LBD had to take you away from him.
At first it was his sworn brothers now you?
He couldn't take another loss and that's a snapping point for him, he'll stop at nothing, obeying every command LBD gave as she promised to free you when it's all done.
He's more aggressive than before— and more dangerous. Which is bad for Mk and his crew.
Overall, he's definitely going through 5 phases of grief before getting revenge on helping MK, but it will take him a lot to convince.

An Animalistic Disaster
CH-19 : A Deer Vs Wolves
Masterlist
Summery :Where you get your ass saved from being almost killed.
*Some time after you left*
Alastor and Niffty was sitting outside the cabin, lazily enjoying each others company. Niffty had turned into a human and leaned against Alastor's body. Alastor, even though he hated dogs,he has learned to at least tolerate Niffty's presence. That doesn't mean he allowed her to stay close to him in her full dog form. That form irked him.
"Hey Alastor.." Niffty finally broke the silence. "Do you think you'll ever transform?"
'Of course I will. Why would you doubt that?'
"Because what if you don't like (Y/n) ever? You need to like her so you can be human again."
Alastor scoffed and looked away. ' Don't you worry your little head about it. I will find a way somehow. I am the radio demon after all.'
Niffty still wasn't convinced as she looked into the distance again. "You know, she's likes you a lot! We talk about you sometimes."
That got his attention. He turned his head towards Niffty again. 'What did you guys talk about? It better not be something to tarnish my reputation my dear!'
" That's girl's talk silly. I can't tell you that! " Niffty chuckled with both hands covering her mouth. Alastor rolled his eyes at such a display ."But I can tell that she really likes you."
'We know that already. That isn't something new. I'm used to ladies fawning over me.' Alastor thought back to his time as a human in the 19's. Indeed, despite his colour back then, women would throw themselves at him nonchalantly. It was both a blessing and a curse for him. Blessing since it helped his popularity grow, curse since he hated those type of contacts. This lowered a lot after he became an overlord. People were far to afraid to approach him then.
"Yes but she's different. She might like you but she'll never push herself onto you. You're rumoured to be asexual and she respects that."
'I'm a what now?'
"Asexual!" Niffty repeated herself. "Don't you know what it is?"
'I'm afraid not dear. Is it one of those modern slangs?'
"Of course not! Let me explain what it is then."
And thus Niffty spent almost an hour and a half explaining different types of sexualities to him, including asexuality. It took a lot of tries to get Alastor to properly understand the concept.
' So you mean to say, that it's normal to not want to engage in such activities? My, all this time I thought I just hadn't found the right girl for me to have those desires. Or worse, there was something wrong with me...' Alastor's smile faltered a bit. It was crazy how times had changed. Normally he didn't like such changes but this was one of the better ones.
'Of course, not that I mind about having something wrong within me. Haha! I am a serial killer after all.' His smile came back as quickly as it disappeared, not wanting to seem vulnerable in front of someone. He supposed he could admire your respect about his boundaries too. Unlike those other girls in his past, you actually cared to make him comfortable, no matter how much you liked him. It made him feel a bit....warm inside.
He spent the next few hours just chatting with Niffty. As sun began to set, Vaggie came over to the pair.
"Hey, (Y/n) hasn't returned yet. It's already getting late. She said she'd be back before sunset. Have any of you guys seen her?"
Niffty and Alastor looked at each other and shook their head. "No...we haven't. We've just been chatting here all afternoon." Vaggie sighed, worry immenent in her face. "I see... sorry for bothering you then."
As Vaggie went back to the cabin, she couldn't help but think about what might have happened to you. You were an adult human. You could handle a night out yourself. Still worries begun to rush in one after another.
"Alastor...you don't think something happened to her do you?" Before Alastor could reply, a howl broke through the night. Both Niffty and Alastor's ears perked up. A blue light caught in the corner of their eyes. Whipping their head towards it, they strangely found a bright blue butterfly that was seemingly glowing in the dark.
Just like you before, they couldn't help but follow it. It felt like it was the right course of action. Though they couldn't tell why. They began to chase after the butterfly at full speed as it was rushing through the forest. Niffty had already transformed into her dog form to run faster.
Soon Niffty picked up scent of something. It was blood. There a familiar scent with it. Your scent.
Niffty's eyes widened with the realization as she shouted at Alastor to let him know. Soon enough, they were able to hear faint growls, snarls from distant. What really made their heart almost stop was the low moaning of you.
.
.
.
.
.
You tried. You really tried to hold on by yourself as long as you could while trying to find find a way to escape. You picked up a nearby branch you found to defend against this horde of wolf that were dead set on eating you.
But there were only much you can do. After some time, you were bleeding all over, barely standing. A wolf's claw teared a big slash on your back. Another one almost teared your leg off before you gave it a good punch. There were small scratchs and bite marks all over. The blood coming out from all over your body was starting to harden on your clothes.
It was hurting to stand already as your body reached it's limit. You collapsed on your knees as the bloody branch you were holding fell down with a thud. You couldn't do this, not anymore. It all hurt too much. You felt tears pricking at your eyes as you thought of your inevitable death. Would there even be anything left of your body after these wolves finished eating you? How much would it...hurt?
A wolf jumped on you, teeths bared to finally consume your sweet flesh. It's teeth were only a few inches above your face as you closed you eyes. Suddenly something small but fierce jumped onto its neck from a side and bit onto it, pushing it to the ground. A sickening crunch followed soon after.
You opened your eyes warrily a little. Your vision was still blurry so you couldn't see clearly. Judging by the sound of the small thing...it was probably a dog. It looked back at you and transformed.
"(Y/n)!.......okay?? We'll...out..here.."
You couldn't hear her words clearly. You saw a big black figure rush through and stand in front of you protectively while facing the wolfs. Did they come to protect you? If so, you could rest a little right? You finally collapsed and shut your eyes.
Your head fell down on Niffty's lap as she shook you to keep you awake. 'Niffty my dear! Focus on protecting (Y/n) and getting her back to the cabin. I'll deal with the wolves!'
Alastor shouted out while looking forward at the canines. It was clear the wolves remembered him just as he did, increasing their anger tenfold. His consciousness was shouting at him to run. He doesn't need to do this. You weren't worth risking his life for. But against his better judgement he was still standing here, between you and these vicious animals.
One of the wolfs lunged forward as he quickly moved out of the way and pierced it with his antlers. But another one quickly followed and bit behind him. He kicked it off him as fresh trail of blood flew from his body.
"Alastor! Her conditions getting worse!" Niffty said screaming. "She'll die if we don't do something about it!"
Alastor knew that already. Niffty didn't have to spell it out for him to know how dire your situation is. He only gritted his teeth. No matter how much he thought, he couldn't think of a way out. It seemed like you understood that as well.
"L..eave..me..go.."
You choked out with the last of your breath before blacking out. Alastor pulled his ears back. You remained ever the good girl till your last drop of consciousness. Always sacrificing yourself for others sake. How admiring....
It's not like that thought didn't cross his mind. Leaving you here should be the wise course of action here. Yet why did did he feel so....bad? Is it because he lived with you all this time? Or when he saw how careful you are with touching him when you were stitching? Or the things Niffty told him about you this afternoon? He wasn't sure. He knew if he returned without you, everyone would shun him out.
"Haha...." He chuckled bitterly at himself. Perhaps you have began to make an effect on him. Whatever happens, he decided,
He was going to stay by your side.
Golden light shone brightly along his body, blinding the wolves that were about to approach him. Alastor looked at his hands. "Finally... about time..."
Suddenly a familiar blue light shone in the corner of Niffty's eyes. Turning her head towards it she saw the butterfly again. It was sitting on top of a carcass. Wait no, it was sitting on top of a handle. A handle that sparkled brightly from the moonlight radiating of it now. It was (Y/n)'s knife, Niffty recognised.
Looking around, when she saw no wolves close by she chased to it. The butterfly flew away again into the distance as she arrived. Niffty picked up the knife in a swift motion. "Alastor! Catch!"
Alastor eye's darted towards Niffty's voice that wasn't behind him anymore. He was about to scold her for leaving you alone but held his tongue when he saw the sparkle of a knife shine in her hands before she threw it at him. He caught it effortlessly in his right hand. As soon as she threw it, she ran back to you and scratched at a wolf that was threatening to come too close for comfort while growling.
Alastor was bleeding from his forehead and multiple gashes from all over his body. But he felt newfound strength flow through him as soon as he held the knife. Ah, he missed this, this thrill of the hunt. He had a crazed expression on his face as he looked over at the wolves standing before him now. The ears on his head perked up as it sensed a wolf coming in closer. Just as it launched he moved out of the way and cut a big slash across it's neck and kicked it away. The wolf's now limp and dead body fell onto the ground beside you and Niffty.
"Come on, it's time to play, puppies..."
.
.
.
.
.
On the other hand, everyone was worried sick at the cabin. Angel found the bag you left at the edge of the forest and brought it home.
"What if something bad happened to her... Vaggie I'm scared!"
"Clam down toots! I'm sure she's fine.... probably..." Angel looked away, not being convinced by his very own statement.
"We cannot find Alastor and Niffty either. If Niffty was here, maybe she could have sniffed (Y/n) out." Pentious pointed at his nose. Husk took a gulp of orange juice you had since alcohol was gone. You really needed to stock up on some alcohol.
"What if we all go find 'er?" Cherri proposed. "She should be around somewhere here right? Since her bag was found close, she should be close as well."
"We... could do that...but what if we get lost? It'll take forever for everyone to get back together again." Vaggie looked at everyone present. "But it'll be our last choice, if she or Alastor or Niffty doesn't come back within half an hour. We're going out."
.
.
.
.
.
The fight was going much better then before. Alastor easily transformed between deer and human befitting of the situation. He could stab a wolf with a knife and then toss it in the air and kick another in its shin after transforming. Then again collect the knife after becoming human. It was fun.
But this couldn't go on forever. He knew that from the fatigue coursing through his body. He had to end this quickly while the adrenaline was still present. After some more slashes and stomps, he remained the only one standing in a field of fresh corpses.
He didn't have time to celebrate his victory. As soon as the last wolf was down, he quickly returned to you. The black stripes of his dress has been painted red with both his blood and the animals. He crouched down to inspect your pulse. It was weak, but you still had it. Alastor let out a breath that he didn't know he was holding.
Alastor put the knife away in his pocket. He softly picked you up in his arms, careful not to put too much pressure on the cuts of your body. His own body was hurting severely, but he needed to be strong for your sake.
"Niffty, run back to the cabin and tell Vaggie to come immediately. And also bring someone to help carry her quickly. I'll be right behind you."
Niffty nodded her head and began sprinting towards your cabin. Alastor looked at your face with a soft gaze. He leaned down and whispered, "Stay strong my dear. You'll be fine, I promise.." With a final breath he began heading towards the cabin as moonlight shone on both of you.
Perhaps because he was so caught up to save you, he didn't notice a pair eyes watching the whole thing.
"Interesting...."
.
.
.
.
By the time Niffty reached the cabin, she found all of them standing outside, ready to depart in search of you. Their eyes widened seeing Niffty with blood on her dress.
"NIFFTY WHAT HAPPENED??"
It didn't take long enough for Vaggie to reach Alastor with Niffty alongside to guide her. Alastor gave a small smile towards the crowd as they collectively gasped seeing the both of you. Without wasting a moment, you were transferred on the back of Husk as Vaggie cast her healing. Alastor was about to fall down but Pentious caught him just in time.
"Hang onto me!" Pentious took one of Alastor's hands and slid it over his shoulder to support him. Vaggie kept casting her healing all the way to the cabin as Charlie started to cry. You were placed in your room with Vaggie, Charlie and Cherri. They changed your bloody cloths and cleaned you up first. Only then the boys were allowed to come.
Alastor on the other hand was placed on the lounge in the other room with only Niffty and Husk. Niffty sew up all the cuts and scratches he had and Husk just stood in a corner watching. Alastor wasn't comfortable with showing anyone else his bare body.
After that was done Alastor laid down on the lounge with a cover on his body as Angel walked in and popped next to him sighing and started a smoke.
" How's....(Y/n)?" Alastor found himself asking while looking at the ceiling. He didn't want to appear too worried for you, yet he could help but be anxious. " She'll live. Vaggie's doin all she can to save her." Angel took a drag of his cigarette and blew the smoke. "But what exactly happened? Why was she in that forest and how did you two find her?"
Alastor and Niffty began to tell their tale from when they found the butterfly to Niffty seeing the butterfly on the knife to Alastor carrying you. He skipped the part of his determination to protect you though. But he greatly told the tale of him slaughtering the wolves with great detail that left Angel's stomach turning.
" That butterfly...do ya think it could be a demon like us?"
"It's very much possible. It certainly wasn't any normal butterfly. But how did it gain the power to control us? I don't think any of us had any power like that."
" What if it's something entirely different from us? " Niffty jumped in.
" That would certainly explain this phenomenon. Though we can't really be sure. To know about it properly we need that butterfly. But that isn't a safe choice considering what happened today. "
A silence befell the room once again as Cherri slipped into the room. She took a sit next to Angel. "Vaggie's working her magic right now. If she wasn't here, not sure what woulda happened to her."
" Yeah...also smiles, ya transformed..." Angel said with a toothed grin looking back at him. He had deep curly brown hair and light brown skin. Two fluffy deer ears stayed atop his head. His glasses which were drowning in blood when they first saw him was cleaned again and sitting on his face. Plus Angel could swear he saw a brown tail poking out from behind Alastor's dress when Pentious carried him back.
Alastor's amber coloured eyes scanned Angel's face. He knew exactly what Angel was trying to get at.
" So ya do have feelings for-"
" None of that! "
" But you needed to have intense feelings
to transform ~"
" I merely wished to protect her that's
all. If I came without her you all would have scorned me."
" Same thing!"
With Alastor transforming, it meant the whole crew was human once again. Things should be a lot easier now.
" Also...does (Y/n) know about this? That
we need to have feelings for her to
transform? "
" Obviously not. We all collectively agreed to keep this a secret from her."
.
.
.
.
The night went by rather quickly. Before Alastor knew it, he was falling asleep. The fatigue and the effects of blood loss finally caught up to him.
You opened your eyes the next day at afternoon. The first thing you realised that almost every part of you hurt. With a huff and a grunt you pushed yourself up a bit. Vaggie was sleeping lying her head on the bed and and her hands on your torso. Charlie was asleep on the desk on the other side of the room. Angel came in with a plate of food and he let out a scream seeing you awake. He quickly put the food down on the table and rushed to you.
Apparently Vaggie has been healing you nonstop throughout the night, she pushed her body to her limit and passed out around the morning . Charlie was the same, she used her ability to smoothly clean your cuts and remove branches stuck to you. Your eyes widened hearing about Alastor.
" Alastor? Where is he?"
" He's fine, he's in the other room. Do you want me to call him to you?"
" Yes, him and everyone else. I want to know what exactly happened..."
Alastor wore one of Pentious's shirt's for now. He and others soon joined in your room. You made sure to talk quietly so you didn't wake up the sleeping girls. They deserve to rest.
"That butterfly....that damn butterfly is the reason behind all this.."
"But I don't understand one thing." Pentious looked lost in throught with a hand on his chin. "Why would that butterfly bring you both to danger and then help you fight back?"
"To know that we need to be in contact with it. But there's no need to rush considering what happened."
You sighed loudly, all that matters that all of you were still in one piece. You'll have to take a few days off from your work to recover. You'll ask your colleague to cover for you. He owes you one anyway for the time you secured him a date with his crush.
That being said, you finally looked at Alastor properly. This guy was handsome as fuck. His brown locks fell onto his bandaged forehead in a lazy manner. His honey eyes locked into yours as he felt you staring at him. You quickly averted your gaze, but you knew that he knew you were staring. A smirk formed on his face as he leaned in close to you.
"Don't I get a thank you for saving you back there, my darling?"
You let out a small yelp and whipped your head towards him. Then again backed your face away when you found his face inches apart from yours. When did he get so damn close?
"Yes uh, thank you..for saving me back there."
Alastor's grin just got wider seeing your flustered expression. He booped your nose as you blinked in confusion.
"Dear don't think I forgot all the things you did and said when I was stuck as a deer. I promise to pay back every.last.bit."
You couldn't help but gulp in the way he said it. Plus the intensity of his stare just added to this making you feel like fainting for the second time now. Just what did you get yourself into?
"Yeah, smiles ya gotta back up a bit. If Vaggie was awake she'd chew your ass up."
"Don't worry, I won't bother her too much. Rest assured my friend."
Something clicked into you just then. Today's the day you've been waiting for a long time. Hazbin hotel season one has officially been released!
"Guys, wake Charlie and Vaggie up again! We have your future to watch!"
.
.
.
.
A.n: Sorry for the long wait. College has been straining all my energy and will to live (っ˘̩╭╮˘̩)っ
This was one of the main scenarios that has been on my mind since the beginning of the fanfic. I had to start writing a whole ass story to make it understandable lol.
Also guys! GUYS!! I GOT FANARTS!!! LOOK AT THIS!!
These two were the first ones that got sent. It's Vox as the blue butterfly. Man I love his suit 🫠🫠
The second was this, our two girls!! Charlie and Vaggie both in their animal and human forms!! Also there's our first ever transformation moment~
Y'all remember the iconic moment of Husk putting on our shirt? 🥹🥹 They drew this!!! And there's our cutiepie Niffty and Mr. Precious!!
Man I can't believe my silly little fanfic inspired someone to draw fanarts!!! God I was so thrilled!! All of these wonderful fanrts are drawn by @/ Little_Wonders7 (twitter) @littlewonders7 (Tumblr) thank you again!!!
As for who the butterfly actually is....I think this will disappoint a lot of you..
Yes, tis I, your own author. Or the Hazbinfication animal of your author. I couldn't think of any way to bring reader back to the forest where the transformation was supposed to take place. So I forced a reason by placing myself there.(• ▽ •;)
This conversation is a thought I had while putting myself there so I decided to draw it.
A clue about this was on my twitter account where there's a blue butterfly on my pinned plus my profile. Shout-out to "sdsblogmainblog" to be the only one to get it!! I feel sorry to everyone who came up with cool theories on who the butterfly could be (;^ω^)
Also no, the pair of eyes watching Alastor and reader was not the butterfly and DW I won't interfere in the story much.
And the winner of the voting issss

Also towards people who are sad velvette lost. I only asked who'll be in the harem, not who'll come into this world. And this goes for every single character. Take this how you will.

❀ Tell me more, don't be shy ❀
: Them talking about their s/o when asked, voice lines hc!
: Sun Wukong, Macaque, MK(platonic) x reader
: Fluff!!
Sun Wukong
About (Name); showing off
"You've met (Name) already? I mean, that's great and all but I was the first one to meet them so hah! What do you mean that it doesn't matter? Uh, duh? It's (Name)?? The best person you will ever meet in your entire life until you die???? Keep up bud"
About (Name); hidden secret
"Wh...what are you doing touching me like that? Huh? (Name) told you I liked scratches on my fur? Wha— ughhh, I told them to keep it a secrettt...whatever, you're not allowed to touch me, only (Name) is allowed in that, hmph"
About (Name); Adoring
"If there's one thing I absolute adore about (Name) that isn't them existing, it's them in general. No really, I mean it. I love how they make me feel better by just talking to me about the weather, I love how easy it is to be myself with them. I just love them so much you know? It's hard to explain but basically, if they were to disappear in this world, then I would flatten mountains, empty oceans, and flip the world upside down until I get them back into my arms."
About (Name); Facts
"Did you know (Name) liked that color in their shirts? I always see them wear those kind of clothes with that style. Oh! Those birds over there yeah? They think they're cute and often stare at them when they're zoning out. And that one over there? That's their favorite place to eat. Also— MPHH?! Ack- why did you cover my mouth all of the sudden?! Yeesh, have some respect, anyways, did you know that (Name) really liked those kind of shoes—"
Six eared Macaque
About (Name); first impressions
"To be completely honest, I didn't think I'd like them as much as I do now. I thought that they were just some ordinary being not worth my time, yet when they talked to me over and over again, suddenly, I felt rather...lonely whenever they're gone. Heh, how annoying of them♡"
About (Name); soft spots
"...You won't leave me alone until I tell you more about (Name) huh? You're lucky I like talking about them so much. However, if I did try talking about them more we'd be here until I decide to stop holding grudges..Huh? I'm going soft? You seriously just realized?"
About (Name); voice
"(Name) once told me that they found my voice soothing to listen to. I'll admit, it took me by surprise the first time they mentioned it, yet that boldness they showed at that moment was attractive of them. Telling me something I never knew people liked about me? And told by the one person you'd kill a whole nation for? Sends shivers down my spine"
About (Name); Sleep
"Knowing me, I never got a lot of sleep. And even if I did it's probably somewhere about 4 hours and then boom, a nightmare to haunt my life until I die. Twice. As cliche as it sounds, I sleep better when (Name) is with me. Something about their arms sharing their warmth into mine never fails to lull me to sleep. Perhaps it's also the fact that they sometimes hum small melodies or run their hands onto my hair to sooth me from whatever's on my mind. It's now mandatory that they stay with me everytime I'm going to sleep, hopefully they don't mind~"
MK
About (Name); excitement
"Huh?! You know about (Name)?!?! That's so cool! (Name)'s so cool!!!! They're so nice and caring and amazing and caring and nice and caring you know? I want to grow up to be just as nice and caring and amazing and caring and caring and nice as them!"
About (Name); injuries
"Look! I'm a mummy! Hehehe I'm not actually one, it's just that I got into this hugee battle with a demon and the aftermath got me all these scars and bruises. (Name) was not happy, gosh, the look on their face when they wrapped bandages on my body while they gave me a whole hour long lecture was so..*shiver* remind me to take better care of myself please"
About (Name); snacks
"My bag is a little bit heavier than usual, maybe it's because of the multiple snacks (Name) keeps inside it. I mean, I'm not complaining, I like the snacks they give me. But a hero's gotta have agility too you know! How am I gonna heroically jump on buildings and beat demons with a heavy bag of super delicious extremely amazing and over the top golden snacks that (Name) gives me?"
About (Name); Lessons
"I think (Name) saw how stressed I am with this whole hero thing, first it was DBK, then spider queen, LDB and now this Asare Leon guy or whatever his name was. It's like I can't keep anything from them. Yet, they still treated me gently and talked to me about how everything happens for a reason, I'm living this life because I'm strong enough to live it. Honestly, I'm glad they told me this, if it weren't for them, I would have been eaten alive by some stinky demon, ewww"
I'm trying so hard not to make another Nezha fic it's literally mental torture

The aliens arrived in their toroidal flying saucers--enormous gossamer-like structures big enough to put Jupiter in the hole. They projected bodies down to Earth on long threads, and complained.
"What happened?" they pleaded with our planetary scientists.
An awfully open-ended question, but the planetary scientists threw up their hands and explained the current state of the field, about the theory of planetary aggregation and various hypotheses to explain how each of the planets ended up where they are today. The aliens nodded along skeptically at times, but they seemed especially disappointed by the Lunar geologists.
"Excuse us," their leader said politely, rising into the sky towards geostationary orbit on a great thread.
And so it was for the next few decades that the aliens set to work correcting what they saw as the great mistakes of the solar system's formation. Perhaps Venus never cooled down enough to avoid a runaway greenhouse effect, or maybe something about its specific volatile mass had been off. Either way, it was the first to be treated. By the time it was done, perhaps 20 years in, it was a blue world with brown continents and white clouds. While another saucer had come to work its magic on Mars, the first saucer returned.
"Eh, we'll need you to give planet two a good head start with the whole biosphere thing. We hadn't bargained on life starting up there halfway through the lifespan of the Sun. If it's no trouble, that is."
A new habitable planet provided the space program no shortage of funding!
Mars was finished, just a few years later, a comparatively simpler job. The aliens advised humans not to interfere with this one just yet, to perhaps give it a few hundred megaannum or so for the life to diversify and develop before contaminating it.
But the saucers didn't leave. They seemed to drift throughout the inner solar system. They took some curious expeditions to Europa and Enceladus--robotic NASA spacecrafts recorded deep probing threads piercing the ice--but didn't seem impressed.
They kept returning to the Moon.
At last, the aliens projected down on their long threads to a university. "You're sure that's how it happened?" they said.
The lunar-planetary scientists showed the alien ambassadors rocks from the Apollo and Artemis expeditions, computer simulations of various types of giant impacts, of synestias and hours-long instant formations and debris disks and gas instability, of an oversized iron core and large low-shear-velocity-provinces.
"We think the water on Earth may even have been delivered through a giant impact from a KBO, though there's some concerns about isotopic ratios."
"No, no," said the alien. "The initial coorbital hypothesis is the correct one."
The alien sighed--it had picked up human body language well over the past 35 years--"This just won't do," it said. It left the building, shaking its head. "It just won't do."
The planetary scientists ran after the alien, as it started reeling its thread back. "Wait!" they said. "What are you going to do?"
"This Moon thing of yours just isn't big enough to hold onto an atmosphere. I'm afraid it's not good enough."
The aliens rose into the sky.
Within a few months the Moon had been lost from the sky, and a years later had been relocated to the L4 lagrange point. The aliens came back, apologetically. "Terribly sorry," they said, "We're in the final phases of the plan," they said.
The Earth Emergency Government representative stepped forward. "Final… phases?" he said.
"Theia was always meant to be a trojan of your Earth, you see. Something must have gone wrong when the gas disk dissipated."
"I don't understand," the representative said.
"My apologies," the alien said, "I'm used to dealing with your planetary researchers."
Many masses of threads now fell gracefully from the skies. When they touched down, they effortlessly bored deep holes. The ground shook. The representative's heart rate skyrocketed.
"It's just that we're going to have to repossess the planet Theia now."

ᴏɴᴇ - jeno
The school finally felt a lot more familiar than before. He could now walk around this place with his eyes closed if he wanted. The second semester has finally started and he made sure to arrive here earlier than everyone else.
Or so he thought.
The classroom felt a little more daunting than before. The large windows that looked out the soccer field and front of the school gave the room a much larger appearance than a normal room. It was enough to sit 40 students if the school wanted, but they opted for 30 students per class. Yet in this class, why was there someone else sitting in the classroom when he had more than an hour left before class started?
"Cho." He snickers as she raises her head as soon as he enters the door.
Cho Eunji was Lee Jeno's greatest nightmare. Her slicked-back ponytail and thick-rimmed glasses made it hard for anyone not to know that she was someone who took her studying seriously. Everyone in this class probably took their studies seriously, but she was on a different level. Even further than the province-born, former valedictorian, Lee Jeno himself.
There was a reason why Jeno was skipping at his heel as he made his way to the school he had just made up his mind that he was going to take his place back. There was no way he would allow Cho to take his spot once again.
"You're here early." There it was that smug grin on his face. He watched as she pushed her glasses up her nose and put down her pen.
Jeno wanted to roll his eyes so badly, but it felt like he would allow her to win if he allowed himself to roll his eyes. Instead, he takes a deep breath in and force a smile on his face. He walked up to the seat, the one just right beside hers. The classroom was set up in rows that sat by pairs. Jeno and Cho sat right at the front of the class with their seats right beside each other—they were seatmates.
It was almost impossible for the two of them not to talk to each other. Classes for the second semester hadn't even started, but she was already studying materials he was sure that she was studying for university entrance exams. His eyes couldn't help but drift to materials on her desks, ones he had yet to purchase on his own. He had no plans to buy them until he was in his second year, but here she was embodying the idea that university preparation starts once you enter high school.
Finally, after holding himself back, he rolls his eyes.
"What are you even doing this early?" Jeno leans his elbow onto his table scanning onto the pages she was flipping over.
Cho pauses and then looks back down at her university entrance exam materials. "Figured, this was a better place to study."
"There's a library."
"That isn't even open yet." She shakes her head without even lifting her sight from the page she was on.
"Tell the library committee to come in earlier then. Aren't you friends with Naeun?"
Cho sighed, finally lifting her head from the book and turning to face Jeno. She puts her pen down and turns her whole body to face Jeno. "What do you want?"
For a moment, Jeno sits there with his head leaning onto his desk and his eyes meeting hers. He knew that Cho was the hard worker type (which he was one himself, but had a little more luck in terms of genetics when it came to that side), but seeing her this close where he could see evidence of it made him feel a little bit guilty with his intentions to bother her so early in the morning.
Jeno wasn't the type to take notice of it, but Cho had really beautiful eyes. They were large, almost as large as his own and they were bright even amidst the darkening bags of her hard work. It was eyes that could draw people in with a simple glance almost medusa-like in the way it had sitting there staring at her and looking at her like he was a statue. If only they weren't hidden behind the thick frame of her glasses he would have noticed it before—no, he was certain he would have seen it before.
Jeno opened his mouth but was stopped by the door of the classroom sliding open. Cho turns her head forward and Jeno sits forward with his whole body leaning towards his desk. He pretends to raise his head and stare at whoever it was that had just opened the door.
Yangyang entered the room and looked between Jeno and Eunji in absolute confusion. "Do the two of you actually come to school at this hour?" He had to double-check with the watch on his wrist.
Jeno sits up suddenly feeling relieved to see a familiar face pop up by the door. He sits up straight and stands up from his seat.
Unlike all his other friends, Yangyang had gone back to Taiwan over the break. His family mostly lived there and only his sister and him were living in South Korea. His sister worked as a set designer for a lot of agencies and was quite well known. So, if you wanted a signature from a popular idol he was the guy people at school hit up for it.
"Bro!" Jeno gets up to hug Yangyang. "I haven't seen you since the break started."
"Samesies!" He pats Jeno's back and then turns to look at Eunji. "Eunji, hi!" He greets her enthusiastically, almost in a cute manner that Yangyang was completely unaware of.
Eunji lifts her head and pushes her lips together to smile. "Hello." She was completely baffled by his quite cutesy morning greeting, but beyond the morning greetings and saying hello to each other Yangyang and Eunji didn't really talk too much. That was unless she was in a group setting with other people from class.
"What were the two of you—" Yangyang then looks between Eunji and Jeno. The scene that Yangyang saw before he had opened the door was quite an intimate scene—in his opinion. Two students were alone in a room, sitting next to each other, but what sealed the deal was how both Jeno and Eunji were barely a few inches from each other.
Jeno stops Yangyang from talking as he throws his arms around his shoulder. This included his weight as well, making Yangyang bend his upper body forward as he carried most of Jeno's weight. They staggered towards his desk, leaving Eunji in her own world and the two of them in their own plant.
"Well, what was that?" Yangyang whispered as soon as Jeno sat down in his seat.
"What was what?" Jeno leans his back on the chair and looks side to side obviously avoiding Yangyang's eyes.
"The whole thing the two of you had going on?"
Jeno sighs and shakes his head. "She was just getting on my nerves," he runs a hand through his hair frustrated. "I mean she's studying for the university entrance exams. We just finished the first semester!" His voice was not really growing louder but hers was definitely getting more expressive.
Yangyang paused and looked at Jeno before he slowly took the seat beside him. "Is this because of the whole situation with you getting second place last sem?"
Jeno snickers bitterly as he turns to face the front of the classroom and leans his body onto the table. "I just don't understand—"
"She works really hard, Jens." Yangyang comments.
"What do you know?" Jeno retorts.
Yangyang sighed knowing there was no way he could win an argument against Jeno in this state of stubbornness of his. "Why are you so eager to win over her anyway? With your grades alone, you could get into a really good school on a scholarship."
Jeno looks up to see her back facing them. Her posture was the worst as her head was nearly parallel to the table that kept her book. She was sometimes stretch her neck as she read but her eyes never left the book. "There's no way I'm losing."
Yangyang shakes his head. "There's no—"
The door opened once again, this time it was going to be the last time it was going to close. Most of the students were about to arrive on campus and it just so happens that the first ones here were the three of them. Three other people stood at the entrance of the door and completed their group of friends. Haechan, Jaemin, and Renjun entered the room and placed their bags down in their seats before making their way towards the two of them.
"Yang!" Haechan gallops towards Yangyang and Jeno after dropping his bag. "Welcome back!"
Yangyang stands from his seat to give him a quick hug. "Dude, what have you been up to!"
"Liking all of your Instagram posts." Yangyang was referring to pictures of the four of them hanging out. They were out going to each other homes playing video games and hanging out. In some cases, the four of them were outside their homes and that was then Haechan would post the most.
"Come with us next time," Haechan puts his arms around Yangyang, but unlike Jeno's heavy blow, he was basically hanging around his shoulders. "All we could think about was how much you would enjoy the things we were doing."
The subconscious nods of heads in the group made it pretty obvious that the group was indeed talking about him even if he wasn't there all break. For a moment, Yangyang admits that he has found a group of people who finally cherished him in his absence.
"You could've given me a call." Yangyang tries not to show too much sentiment on his face. They had a good two more years of hanging out like this before he could finally open up about all he's been thinking.
"Would you even have answered?" Renjun grabs a seat from beside Yangyang's seat and sits down. Renjun doesn't sit there, most of them don't but they had just naturally gathered around Yangyang.
"Touche."
"Figured that much." Renjun sighs and leans his head towards Yangyang's table.
"Why do you look so tired?" Jaemin asks Renjun as he sits at Yangyang's table instead of pulling a chair towards where everyone else is seated.
Renjun sits up and stretches his arms over his head. Among the five of them, it was Renjun who carried the most boyish charm that actions as simple as stretching his arms over his head would appear cuter than all of them combined. He even leans back on his chair and then sighs. "Bona got herself a new shelf and guess who was told to help her build it at 12 midnight."
"Last night?" Jeno raises his eyebrows at the statement.
"Trust me," Renjun runs his hand through his hair, "I don't know what was going in that mind of hers."
Haechan puts his hands on Renjun's shoulder. "Yet, you can't deny her." There was a hint of teasing in the way that Haechan was talking about Bona, Renjun's childhood friend.
All he could do was sigh as Haechan wiggled his eyebrows at him. At this point in Haechan and Renjun's friendship, he was exhausted by this joke about his relationship with Bona. The long-time friends, Haechan and Renjun have spent their middle school years together and decided to enter high school in the same school as each other. Haechan says it's a coincidence, and Renjun tells everyone that Haechan is stalking him.
"Bona knows too much." Renjun sighs giving Haechan one long look before sitting up straight and facing everyone else.
Haechan's reception of that look shut him up.
As everyone finally entered the classroom, even with several other students in class, their voices were always above everyone else. They weren't aware of it but they were beginning to write their future as the days finally welcomed their youth. Now, as the sun begins to rise and the cold days of childhood leave them, they are welcomed into the warm—sometimes too hot—hug of youth.
This was their start. The first taste of the warmth of youth.

A Name
It waited in front of the window watching all the people go by on the street. It had finished all of it's tasks for the day and was patiently waiting for it's clockmaker, Mags, to return from the market. Anyone looking from the outside might assume it was simply a porcelain statue. After some time, it spotted her messy dark hair in the crowd. It wanted to wave to her, but it knew she was too short to see much above everyone else, so it ran over to the door and waited. After a few moments, she swung it open with a bright "hello" and opened her arms, her doll jumping into her for a hug.
"Did you get anything fun?" It always loved when Mags got something new for it to cook with.
"No, just the basics this time, sorry."
"But what's that?" It asked curiously, pointing at a crumpled sachet sitting on top of her bag.
"Oh just a packet of seeds I found on the ground on the way home. Maybe that eccentric fruit vendor would trade me something cool for it, they like to garden."
"Seeds? Like ones that grow into plants?"
"Uh... yeah? That's what seeds do, silly."
The doll gasped, "Can we grow them?" It asked with a sparkle in it's eye.
The clockmaker gave her doll a sad look. "Trust me, I've tried. They don't do well all the way down here, too much smog and not enough sun. The water definitely isn't the best either..... plus I have no idea what these seeds even are."
"But.... we can try!" It looked at her with a dramatic, yearning expression.
She stared at it doubtfully, trying to resist, but caved and chuckled. "Oh, I suppose we could give it one more shot, just for you." She gave it a playful pat on the head as her doll starting hopping up and down in excitement. "Come with me, let's get the stuff we need together."
They foraged around her workstation until they found an old planter box full of brass bits and bolts and emptied it. Next, they dug into the back of her closet, finding a dusty container full of a grayish mush. "I made this compost forever ago out of used tea bags and ash from the oven, it's kind of the best I could do. It might be okay if we mix it with some dirt and gravel from the alley."
"I thought you said that burnt things were gross." The doll said inquisitively.
Mags giggled and replied, "Definitely gross for me, but it has nutrients that plants like, and it'll make the soil less acidic. The acidity of the ground out there is.... concerning."
*Nutrients? Acidity?* It had so many questions. She could tell her doll was confused, but curious. "Come on, I'll explain more outside." And so they went into the alley together and filled the pot with gravelly soil and makeshift compost while she described to her inquisitive doll the different types of soil and what plants needed in it. Once they were done, they took it inside and she taught it how to water and care for a plant. It had no idea they were so complicated, they looked so simple from the outside. She had her doll place the pot by the window, dig a tiny hole, and bury the seeds inside.
"When does it become a plant?" The doll asked.
"Well, it depends on what it is, and if the soil is actually good enough, but it'll take a couple of weeks at the very least."
"That's.... so long...."
"Yes, gardening requires lots of patience."
"I can be patient!" It assured. It had always been good at waiting for new tasks and holding perfectly still for long periods.
"I have no doubts that you will be." She said with a smile.
~
It enjoyed having the new daily task of making sure the seeds were watered and cared for. It checked to see if they had sprouted yet as often as it could, sometimes staring at the pot in anticipation for hours.
One early morning nearly two weeks later, a tiny leaf had appeared! It ran back into Mags' room and jumped on her bed to wake her up so she could see the amazing feat their seeds had accomplished. It hopped up and down as Mags shambled behind it, still not fully awake. Once she was in view, it dramatically jumped in front of the pot and spread out it's arms, as if presenting a masterwork of art. Her gloomy face lit up when she saw the teeny sprout.
"Wow, I'm impressed! You've done a wonderful job caring for it." She praised as she rubbed her doll's head.
It beamed, "It looks so happy!"
"It certainly does." She said with a tired smile. She wanted to remind it that the sprout probably wouldn't make it much further, but she didn't have the heart to stifle it's excitement.
Over the next few weeks, the porcelain doll continued to care for the sprout while Mags taught it how to tell if it needed more or less water or was malnourished. Their little plant struggled, it was often not as green as it should be and wilted leaves were common, but very slowly, it kept growing. The doll celebrated every time it grew a new leaf, tried not to cry every time they had to trim one that was too wilted, and spent many hours lovingly examining and encouraging it. The plant didn't really do anything, but for some reason, the doll still adored it. It was so small and pretty and it liked the feeling of taking care of something.
After a couple months had passed, not only was it still alive, but it was nearly 6 inches tall and had lots of leaves! Some of them even looked fairly healthy. Mags was bewildered, by all means, this plant should've died weeks ago. She knew that her doll partially ran on magic as well as clockwork, and could only guess that that might have something to do with it.
Another month or so later, they woke up to see that a gorgeous white and pink flower had bloomed.
"It's a flower it's a flower!" The doll exclaimed in wonder.
"It's a dahlia!" Said Mags, almost more excited than her doll.
It gently cupped the flower in it's tiny hands and gazed at it for several moments. It couldn't believe it had helped something so beautiful grow from just a few specks in an old dirt pot.
"Magdeline?" The doll looked at her clockmaker thoughtfully.
"Yes?"
"I think I know what I want my name to be."
Her heart jumped, "Oh? What are you thinking?" She tried to respond with a casual but genuine interest, she didn't want to put any pressure on her doll.
"I want my name to be Dahlia."
A huge smile grew on her face, "That's a gorgeous name! I would love to call you Dahlia! I think it's very fitting for you."
It let out a happy squeak at hearing it's name and jumped into her as she held it tight and spun around.
*Dahlia.*

Hey, wondering if you could do a Larissa weems x fem reader where reader is Cupid (ik im late to v day) and never really experience love before and kind of resents it until Larissa falls in love with her (I love your work btw)
A Valentine's Surprise
Larissa Weems x fem!cupid!Reader
A/n: Thank you so much for the request anon! Apologies it took so long 😓 Also, I'm writing this more as reader isn't the Cupid, but moreso Cupids are a type of "outcast", like shapeshifters or werewolves. Hope that's alright! Just some meet-cute fluff at the Weathervane ☺️
Valentine's Day.
The mere thought of it made you roll your eyes. Fake cardboard hearts plastered in every building, storefronts covered in reds and pinks and lace trimmings, men running out last minute to buy over-priced flowers- none of it really meant anything. It was all for show, something to make the normies feel better about celebrating partnerships that weren't destined to last.
You were sat in a booth at the Weathervane, idly sipping at a latte with a heart poured on top as you scanned the ever-growing crowd, wondering at how some of the startstruck lovers had even ended up coupling together. Having been born a Cupid, you could tell at least half wouldn't last the year, some no more than months; yet here they sat, talking about futures intertwined, plans and dates. All for naught, and they had no idea of what was to come-
"It's rather busy today isn't it?"
You turned at the sudden voice, more clear than the others mulling around you, and you met the eyes of one of the prettiest women you'd ever seen. Her cherry-painted lips were curled up into a half-smile, her statuesque body still turned towards the crowd as though she were merely remarking to herself on the state of the coffee shop. You noticed she held a ceramic mug in her hands instead of the foam takeout ones, her original intent clearly being on enjoying her beverage in-house. Feeling a small rush of boldness, you gestured to the empty seats in front of you.
"It is, but to be fair I am taking up a fair amount of space for just myself... you're welcome to join if you like?"
Her half-smile turned into a full one, and she checked if you were absolutely sure before sliding across from you. There was a beat of silence before she took a sip of her drink (hot chocolate, if your nose was correct) and sighed.
"I'm Larissa, by the way, Larissa Weems. I don't believe I've seen you around here before?"
You introduced yourself, your heart skipping a beat when she repeated your name back to you. You'd never thought much on your name, but coming from her you wouldn't mind hearing it over and over again.
You'd ended up talking for hours, about yourself, about her, about your lives. It caught you off guard how easily the conversation flowed with Larissa; neither of you noticed how the noise of the other patrons died down, or the sun beginning to sink over the nearby rooftops. You were so enthralled in her stories, the way her nose scrunched and blush tinted her cheeks and chest when you offered a compliment or two, that you didn't see one of the baristas making their way over to you until she stood at your table.
"Sorry ladies, but we're fixin' to close up. Manager thought to give us the night off for Valentine's. Don't mean to boot you but-"
Larissa waved her hand in apology, finishing up the last of her drink while you settled the final round of beverages (at your insistence, though she did put up a bit of a fight). You thanked the barista for the wonderful service, then made your way out into the brisk evening, Larissa winking down at you as she held the door open. Once again, a beat of silence sat between you, both hesitant to simply walk away with a mere goodbye. You were unsure whether it was the three lattes singing in your veins or how Larissa looked achingly beautiful in the soft glow of the streetlights, but in that moment you worried too much about never seeing her again to dwell on your next question.
"I had a really nice time with you Larissa. Perhaps you'd be up for another chat sometime? Over dinner?"
Her shy smile set your heart racing, and you wondered what exactly it was about her that made your palms so sweaty.
"I'd like that very much."
She reached into her pocket and pulled out a small card, then handed it over and squeezed your hand in farewell before walking off towards a lone minivan. You couldn't help but watch her go, the vehicle disappearing completely into the night before you looked down at the card she'd handed you.

Howdy hey! Today is my day, so I bring to the table a transfem!IQ & Osa ficlet for @dualrainbow 's Suns Out Guns Out (SOGO) event!
I have a few trans* headcanons for the R6 operators (being transmasc myself), and thought it would be fun to kind of explore one of those headcanons with a canonically trans* operator as well. As such, this ficlet is inspired by the fresher, Nighthaven arc (post 2022 Six Invitational).
Left this vaguely open in terms of whether it's ship or not, but I like to imagine this as a sort of "first step" for the two 💕
This is also loosely inspired by a few coming out experiences of my own, as well as similar conversations in general about gender. Because let's be real, that shit can be awkward sometimes-
Translations are at the bottom of the ficlet, but please forgive if these aren't 1:1 or perfect uses! I researched them but you can only find so much on forum sites and Reddit. German was easier for me to verify as I'd studied it, but there weren't a lot of resources on Croatian that I could find so I do apologize.
I've jokingly dubbed this "Transfems in STEM", but there isn't an official title or anything. Purely vibes!
Rambling aside, I hope y'all enjoy! Here's a brief summary:
WORDS: 1.2k FANDOM(S): Rainbow Six Siege WARNINGS: Brief (though non-graphic) mentions of transphobia, both external and internalized.
Fic below the cut!
They had met here and there through their service with Rainbow. Mostly through the guidance of others—and most notably when paired together under the command of Kali—but their natural interests in technology had meant one would always seek the other out when hearing of interesting new news. Of course, and perhaps humorously, the other person in the pair had already heard the news as well… But it was still nice to chat back and forth about their thoughts. It was refreshing.
It was something that became a routine habit between the two, and that led to them breaking out of their shells with one another.
Monika was hardly a social type, even within her own team. She cared deeply for them, and genuinely did see them as her friends. Stated time and time again that they were, even if her actions weren't always indicative of such. There was still this lingering distance. A subtle discomfort that stemmed from somewhere deeper within. A lingering insecurity that she may say too much, or that she wouldn't 'meet the mark' and humiliate herself in doing such.
Likewise, Anja was cordial with most (if a bit colder). Quicker; to the point. Her care for others, more often than not, showed through her work. Hours spent tinkering away in research and development labs to present a personalized gadget. Ngũgĩ's Mag-Net, Håvard's Aqua Breacher, and specialized prosthetics for Apha. Yet even then, there was a less-than-subtle difference. One that she deliberately placed there; talking with her, especially on a personal level, was a professional courtesy. Something the may help the team, but that took away from her work. Placed her in a spotlight that—depending on the day—she'd rather avoid.
Yet there was this magnetic pull between the two.
An odd chemistry that led to after-hours chats amongst the strewn about circuitry of the labs. Dimmed lights shone over the dark epoxy resin surfaces and the two women sat upon stools, idly picking away at whatever takeout they'd managed to get sneak back into the base through the clever use of the German's hoodie. Equally idle chatter filled the still air, conversations waxing and waning through topics and padded by light laughter as they'd recalled whatever wild stories that came to mind. Those from their former teams, from their lives before involvement with Rainbow…
"You know," Anja began, "You seem like the sci-fi type. Have you ever seen Empress of the Plutomatons?"
Monika's eyes lit up, hand briefly sitting over her mouth as she'd forced herself to finish the mouthful of food she'd just taken in. All the while, she nodded excitedly.
"Have I ever—Of course I have!" Another fit of laughter from the two at the enthusiastic outburst. "You know, I always wanted to base my whole look off of the Empress. The long, wavy hair. The fierce make-up. Weißte? Everything about her was just so…"
"Perfect?"
A dreamy sigh. "Sehr perfekt."
"What stopped you?" A genuine curiosity lingered in the Croatian's tone, eyes studying the other as she mulled the thought over. "You would pull it off well."
A warmth began to spread over the apples of Monika's cheeks. A subtle skip in her pulse that, while undetectable to the other occupant in the room, felt deafening. Then a subtle chill down her spine. What had stopped her was fear. The idea of being a caricature, that is more so than people around her life at the time had believed her to be. She stood out enough as she grew into her femininity. Hated every scrutinizing second that'd pass while she simply existed within the public eye. Glossed lips parted to release a soft sigh.
"It's… a long story."
"And not one you feel like sharing?" Anja piqued a brow, tilting her head slightly as she sipped at her drink.
The slow shake of the head. A nauseating bubble as her mind wandered to potential reactions to the explanation. A lingering wanting that brought Monika's mouth to move before her mind could stop it.
"Well. It's just—it felt… wrong. Like it wouldn't have really been who I am. That doesn't make sense, I know—"
"It does. Trust me." Anja smiled, a hint of sadness in her eyes. She was thankful the reflections on the glasses hid it. "I am sure you've probably heard all about me from the others. You know, even under Kali's command, not many of them wanted to work with 'someone like me' at first. I was used to it, it was no different in Zagreb—the same old discussions that you learn to tune out for something better."
Monika's interest was piqued. What did she mean by that? She had heard gossip of her direct approach to things. Her passions for the job. How she was had her soft spots, as much as she denied them. But…
"Heard about what?"
There was a long pause upon hearing the question. A near-uncomfortable silence that filled the room. Then boisterous laughter as the operator keeled over at the table.
"Molim—You can't be serious. Everyone finally shuts up about it, and I'm the last to find out?" She wiped at her eyes, briefly lifting her glasses from her features before settling back into her resting position. "I'm transgender, Monika."
Another long pause, though much less uncomfortable than the first. Rather, it was like someone had popped a bubble encasing the room and released all the tension built up within it. Unconsciously wound muscles found themselves relaxing at the statement, and lips curled upward in a comfortable smile.
"That makes two of us, then." Another sigh from Monika, though now it stemmed from a place of relief. Even with the intrigued look that crossed the other's expression.
"Really? I would have never guessed. Not because of your appearance, but—" That wasn't quite what she'd wanted to say, nor how. Shit. Her excitement got the better of her. "It was never mentioned by anybody."
Thankfully, Monika didn't seem to take offense to any potential—and notably accidental—insinuations. In fact, she laughed softly.
"Not many people know; I prefer it that way, personally. Of course, my old team knew. Medical staff. I think besides them, the only person I ever felt comfortable to tell was Doctor Pandey." A pause. "Until now, of course."
"That is… a lot of trust to put in a person." There was a shift in the operator's tone. A genuine surprise that broke through that cold, confident demeanor. Anja didn't think they were that close.
"I know. I trust you, that is why."
But she wasn't complaining. In fact, quite the opposite: She reveled in the fact. It meant that while Monika had broken through her walls, that she had also broken through Monika's. She still succeeded. They both did. And that brought a smile to her face. One that mirrored the one on her counterpart's.
"Is that so?" A genuine inquiry; an attempt to dissect how far that trust ran.
And Monika leaned into the attempt. Sat forward to sit her elbows on the table between them and rest her chin atop her palm as a blanket of comfort draped over her shoulders; caused her muscles to unwind and her posture to slump. All the while, that smile lingered on her lips.
"It is."
[ Translations ] Weißte? = You know? (German) Sehr perfekt. = So perfect. (German) Molim = Varying uses; Contextually used as "Please" in a "You can't be serious" kind of way (Croatian)

Malkavian and Hecata for Willow and Eva!!💖
@scribesofcalamity
ty friend <3 | asks from this list by @diableriedoll
doing these by character, so: Willow! 12th generation Toreador, based in Amsterdam.
Malkavian - Think of your OC as a mortal, pre-embrace. If someone showed them what's going to happen to them, from the night they were turned to now, would they let the embrace happen or would they try to avoid it?
Willow would have a long think about it, then probably think she can change the future and go through with it, depending on when this would be shown to her. If it was way before her embrace, like a few years, before she even moved to Amsterdam, she would not have moved to Amsterdam. If this happened before her embrace but when she was already in Amsterdam, she would've let it happen. She was found at one of the lower points in her life, and when you're high on cocaine, being undead isn't half bad.
Hecata - Does your OC have a family? Be it through blood or chosen. Tell us about them.
Willow keeps in touch with her family back in the US of A. It's actually quite simple, due to timezones she can call them at normal hours when she's awake at three in the morning. But she keeps them at arm's (or well- the arm of a long haul flight) length. Her chosen family consisted out of her bloodline within the city, but her sire was final death'd right in front of her and most of the kindred in town as an example, and her sire's sire has been kicked out of town, so that's not going too great. But she's very normal about all of this and she has an ally in her grandsire still. Or more so she's a pawn in her plan. The bloodline's just ruining things for Willow, though. Adelheid could tell her to walk into the sun and she'd probably do it out of family loyalty. Maybe she does not really know how kindred politics works yet. Maybe she doesn't want to. A different Toreador adopted her anyway.
BUT WAIT! THERE'S MORE! Eva! 14th generation Duskborn, based in Amersfoort in an After the Fall type setting.
Malkavian - Think of your OC as a mortal, pre-embrace. If someone showed them what's going to happen to them, from the night they were turned to now, would they let the embrace happen or would they try to avoid it?
Not much has happened in Eva's unlife yet. She's brand new. And her embrace got fucked up. Sure, she's got the love of her life back, but at what cost? He's a vampire, he was supposed to fix her, and her embrace was what might have been his most selfish act of all. Eva's been more sick than ever, and even though she's barely even found her footing in this not-quite-dead-thing, she's already having to plan and perform a heist on her family company while at the scrutiny of multiple organisations. She's been threatened by anarchs, camarilla, and unaffiliated groups alike. She's been made a showpony by her boyfriend when he had to prove a point. And on top of that she's just found out that her own brother is the reason she fell ill in the first place. Yea. No. Eva would have much preferred to be dead. Probably would have chosen to terminate her lease on life herself before she even got to this point. Her end was nearing anyway.
Hecata - Does your OC have a family? Be it through blood or chosen. Tell us about them.
Eva, although in her forties, is quite close to her blood family. She's an heiress, had a job in the trucking company her parents run and her grandparents started, like both of her brothers. She's a middle child, a daddy's girl, and both her brothers also are employed in the business. Her siblings and she are all named for Biblical characters. She gets along best with her older brother Thomas, and has always had some sort of rivalry with her younger brother David. He now has her position as head of communications in the company, took over when she was first diagnosed with leukaemia. Her family are very concerned for her health, and they mean well, but they can be a bit overbearing at times. She's been trying to distance herself from them, but it's hard when the world just forces them together.
As for chosen family, Eva hasn't really found her place in the undead world yet. She has her partner Adam by her side, and some other Duskborn who are friendly towards her, but with her condition it's unwise for her to remain Duskborn. Maybe when things settle down she'll find a chosen family, but until then, it's her and Adam against the world.
#eva-ngelical#willowtalking#scribesofcalamity#ty again friend!!#i missed talking about my silly girls <3#both their chronicles are coming to an end soonish and i'm just in shambles /lh

Thoughts on Joker as an optional boss in P3R
.........................................snrk.
Wow....just....wooooow wowowowowowowooooow. Wow. Woof. Omg. Wow.
"Silly salt incoming?" Yes but in a "At this point I'm not even fucking surprised. Just wow!" type of salt
"Are you mad cause it's Joker/P5 related?" I mean like...yes and no?
"No?" I'm not inherently against him being an optional boss. I'm all for past characters coming back. Is it a biiiiit annoying it seems to be ONLY P5 related? Yeah. But like, that's because it seems to ONLY be P5. If it was P5 IN ADDITION to something else, I really wouldn't bat an eye. Like how I didn't for P3/4MCs in P5R (Sad they drew the line at those two only, but....hey. At least we got SOMETHING)
"Then what's the yes?" Besides weird timeline bullshit, which I'm sure they'll have an explanation (or at this rate I hope so). It's just....
I find it funny.......how the devs want to hide behind.... "keeping the original spirit alive" or some bullshit like that. As a means to tell certain fans why we can't have certain things in this game.
I mean, should I be surprised? They removed key features of the original game despite saying that. Yet still tried to hide behind that narrative. "Oh no it's more like Vanilla P3!....except for the FES stuff WE want still.....oh, and using a lot of P3P's stuff too-" I mean.....still funny they wanna hide behind that narrative. All that considered.
Sorry, that was a side tangent. Joker fight only now. Ok.
I find it funny they wanna hide behind that narrative....and then put Joker, a P5 character, THAT WASN'T IN THE ORIGINAL GAME, into the DLC. Just....huh. Interesting.
Just....didn't think to, you know, put a different character in the game? A legacy one. Maybe P1MC? With the whole Tartarus shared scenario and Nyx scenario? No?
Or maybe Tatsuya/Maya? I mean, P2 and P3 have a lot of overlapping parallels. Greek theme, dual MCs, sun and moon themes to name a few. Orpheus in some mythos being Apollo's child.... A real passing of the torch vibe when it comes to P2 going to P3 tbh.
Oh! Or you know, having them face Labby or Sho! They had them as DLC in P3D, plus it would've been PERFECT! We could've had all 3 P3 themed robo girls in ONE GAME! :D Plus they already have working models for them! They'd just need to update them.
Or......you know. They could've gone with the obvious one? Esp if timeline/space bullshit isn't an issue. One that would've been both a narrative AND mythos driven gut punch. They could've gone with FeMC! :D
"Oh but we can't have her in the game, it'll take up too much time and mone-" It's one model for a boss fight. (ʘ‿ʘ) One. Model. We don't even need to account for her Personas because they already have models. Just one model, for a boss fight, with certain animations tied to that. "But money" oh noooooo a company has to make one model with certain animations for a fight and not a whole story mode? Whatever shall they do? Where will they get the time and money to do one model with fight animations? :( :( :( :( :( (/sarcasm)
"But would fans really like-" Yes. We are asking for crumbs. Literally the bare minimum they could've done.
I'm starting to think that they are allergic to her. Cause why else are they dodging her like Neo dodges bullets? TT0TT
"You ok Silly?" Yeah I'm fine. I'm annoyed. Not even pissed. Just....."yeah this is what I expected" and moved on. But I had a feeling I should make a post about it so I came back. >_> Literally took me a few hours to realize the bs after seeing it drop kjaskfdl My first reaction was "yeah sounds about right" THEN after a few hours I was like "wait a minute....." jklsadjfkal
If anything, the need for Atlus to hire a new PR manager for BOTH Jpn and West is just becoming more apparent. I mean they've needed it for years now but ooof please someone save them. save me TT0TT
Tldr; I don't care Joker is in the game because it's P5/Joker. I'm not against him being in the game. I'm just FOR other things ALSO being in the game. And I find it weird they draw the line at other things but then choose Joker???? So weird. :/
#silly talks#silly salt#p3r salt#p5 salt#it's crazy that the devil's advocate voice IS actually defenses I've seen for this choice#'#i removed the 'i'm amazed you can still breathe' cause it was part of a bit that i deleted#jkklfdsajkfljaf out of context it's funny#but it sounds EVEN MORE violent/scary with the rest of the bit (which was more lighthearted/slap shtick intended) deleted jfkldsajfkl TT0TT

this question seems a little silly to me but alas google was no help and you seem like something of a concert aficionado, but i just got tickets to an outdoor lovejoy venue and have no idea how it works when it’s outside since the only concerts ive been to are indoor venues or free outdoor ones (which def isn’t the same) and am happily overthinking the hell out of it. ive been to one other lovejoy show (still riding that high) and was as close to the mic as physically possible without being on stage, which was just from getting there very early. is getting close to the stage the same principle at outdoor venues? is there even a line to queue in still? Do they have a “doors open at 7!” moment when there’s no doors? are people like. more or less insane about getting there wildly early when it’s outdoors. i just have no clue what to expect so any little bits of knowhow would be hugely appreciated <3 also I love your writing
hi this question isn't silly at all! the only outdoor venue I've been to for lovejoy was a music festival, so if you're talking about a music festival I can help with that? but also all music festivals have different rules and setups for things like that so what applied for mine might not apply for yours
for my music festival, the entire festival opened up at 12 noon. I knew what stage lovejoy was playing on, and they weren't going to perform until 6 or 7pm I think. so while I didn't try to show up super early, my friend and thought the trolley that took us downtown was going to take longer than it would so we ended up there around 11 am. people had just begun to line up to be let into the festival, so we met up with some twitter mutuals of mine and lined up. now keep in mind this was just to get into the festival, the stage lovejoy was going to be on was further in the grounds.
so when 12 noon hit I was like the 5th person let in I think? and I just sprinted for the lovejoy stage. no one was there yet so I claimed a spot at the barrier, and the rest of the people I knew trickled in behind me and we all claimed our spots. from there it was just a matter of waiting at the barrier and not giving up our spots there until lovejoy came on. now regardless of venue type, all gigs are going to have different barrier variations. some barriers are going to be only a few feet from stage, some, like, at that music festival i was at, are going to be a bit further back. theres nothing you can do about that, but it's very rare to be so close to the stage you could practically touch the mic. that usually means there isn't an actual barrier fence for the stage, and the only time i've been to a gig like that was the lovejoy bowery gig in nyc last december
so basically, at least with the music festival i went to, there's no real 'queue' unless you count the line to get into the festival when the doors open. basically you just run and try to claim a spot at barrier as fast as possible. if lovejoy isn't performing until later in the day, you're either going to have a hell of a time waiting in the sun all day (although of course if the people around you aren't dicks they should be willing to hold your spot and let you come back to it if you need to get food or use the restroom or something), or because there's so much shuffling of crowds between performances as different artists come on and off the stage you have a higher chance of being able to slip closer to the front if you didn't get there at the start. (i'm not saying to shove past people to force your way through. i'm just saying other people might leave the barrier after the artist they're there for has performed, and you can swoop in and take their spot)
overall I'd just look up what time the venue opens and plan to get there an hour early or so if lovejoy is performing later in the day. if they're performing earlier, you might be more likely to see a typical 'queue' to get into the venue. and even if you do get barrier, there's a likely chance you're not gonna be that close to the stage as you described again. i'm still chasing the high of that bowery gig. best of luck to you though!

Respond to the following prompts out of character, then tag others you'd like to get to know a little bit better.
Roleplayer name: Ren.
Roleplayer pronouns: he/him.
Muse name: Alastor, the Radio Demon
Preferred communication:
I don't have a preference, all are liable to ghost messages or fuck up in some other way. Discord, Tumblr IM, Twitter, email.
Experience:
1997. MU*s, forums, messengers, blogs, groups, on paper during class. Any other greymuzzles here recall Yahell! SA chatrooms, Cheetah Chat, ICQ, AIM, MSN, Ezboards, Jcink, LiveJournal Strikethrough, and all the rest? Good times.
Preferred roleplay type:
3rd person past tense, mega sentences, Multi Para. 300-600wc. I tend to write novella (800-1.5k) infrequently, only if it's a particularly action-heavy, steamy, or essentially heavy in any way, scenario. Especially if it's just Alastor on his own, I need to establish the draft so it's not a stalled sequence of nothing's happening.
Pet peeves & deal breakers:
Force/AutoShip. It took months for it to happen to this muse, unlike my other blogs, but Jesus Christ. If you want a ship, you have to ask, and accept that I don't woobify/Flanderise to get your socks off. There's nothing appealing or satisfying about an OOC canon character, especially if it's a twu wuv uwu ship.
Getting sooky if I'm writing with duplicates of your muse, yet you refuse to be an Exclusive. Beg pardon, but don't be a bitch. You can't have it both ways. If you're getting envious or feeling like you're getting replaced, if you want me to only write with your canon muse, it takes two to tango. I have to be your only Alastor in exchange.
That said, I don't appreciate being treated like a surrogate. A substitute duplicate when your BFF's online. I don't treat my partners like they're just a number, or a faceless entity. BFF gets all the interactions, the plots, the attention, recommendations/boasting, yet you conveniently act like we're best mates only when said BFF is MIA.
This isn't my first rodeo, so knock that shit off. We're not in kindergarten. We're either writing partners, or we're not. I won't play along with the role of a standby, a last resort, living off scraps or rolling with your artificial friendship.
Another deal breaker is 1st person tense, and 'wolfspeak'. You know. The overly flowery purple prose. Abused thesaurus. A whole lot of unintelligible waffle. Ears are ears, not satellite dishes/pillars. Eyes aren't spheres/optics... Cvm isn't baby batter. Female isn't fae. Heart isn't a dial.
Lastly (I think) don't police or attack me for the themes, ships, or writing style I indulge. Read the label. Dead Dove. I write paragraphs, I love monsterfuqqing, I eat and breathe angst and feels in all flavours. If you don't like it, the block button's right there.
I however, won't entertain or interact with necrophilia, pedo/ABDL/loli, incest (including stepsiblings), or censored canons (e.g skeeky kleen Val).
Plot or memes:
Both. Unprompted starters are delicious. So are plotted, brainstorming sessions. I need to know the general trajectory of our thread.
What are we working for? What themes, pleasures, character developments? Angst, betrayal, unrequited love, friction, animosity, friendship, comradeship? Deception? Sex? Abuse? Tropes? Whumped? Action, horror, politics?
Best time to write
I don't work because chronic illness, sooo, nearly any time, always every day. The best, reliable routine for me is:
Mon—Fri: early mornings, evening to midnight.
Sat: Mornings, evening to midnight.
Sun: Morning, Lunch, evening to midnight.
I sometimes have telehealth or in-person appointments, guests, so those hours are always morning to lunch, and I know a few days in advance.
Are you like your muse?
Not exactly. I share zero tolerance for people's bullshit. Loyalty is a massive thing for me. Treat me right, and I won't let you down. Treat me like a novelty or a pursuit for free-art/scans/whatever, you're given the boot.

20 questions for fic writers
I was tagged by @the-real-azalea-scroggs! Thank you <3
1. How many works do you have on AO3?
35! And hopefully one more before the end of the year.
2. What's your total AO3 wordcount?
201,451. Which is mad.
3. What fandoms do you write for?
Zelda (Linked Universe), The Owl House, Spiderverse and as of that fic I need to upload before the end of the year, Revue Starlight.
4. What are your top five fics by kudos?
Five Teaspoons - Also the fic that took me the least time to write out of all of them. But it's Wild-centric LOL
The Pink Heroes - Legend and Wild discuss gender while Twilight chills in the background.
Someday We'll Stand Here By The Sun - My Owl House longfic that explores Luz and Amity's relationship post S2, pre S3.
The Quiet Kitchen - The prequel to SWSHBTS.
Walking the Same Path - Wind and Wild discuss gender- yeah this is a running theme isn't it LOL
5. Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?
I respond to comments because you must be crazy if you think I'm gonna pass up a chance to discuss the blorbos I write about more
6. What's a fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?
Probably the weight of your actions, but I swear it's only angsty bc the canon of Gwen's universe in Spiderverse is angsty! Author is not responsible!
7. What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?
Can I cheat and do a fic I haven't written yet? Because the ending of the Wind and Wild gender series is going to be so sweet it may cause cavities. Other than that, probably Eudemonia, cause it's just pure fankids fluff.
8. Do you get hate on fics?
No, I think half my fics are probably too niche to attract bad faith types.
9. Do you write smut?
I'm baby.
10. Do you write crossovers?
I rotated the idea of Owl House x LU in my brain for a while but never wrote it, and now that I haven't, I probably never will.
11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?
Lol yeah someone uploaded an incredibly similar fic to in how many grey hours a few hours after I did, but nothing ever came of it. It wasn't Stolen stolen so I don't really care.
12. Have you ever had a fic translated?
I haven't hit that milestone yet :(
13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?
The Lumity fankids are a brainchild of myself, @heleirylis and our friend maisa even if the fics on my profile for it aren't actually co-written. Also me and leir still need to do a joint fic for one of our fandoms (it WILL happen soon)
14. What's your all time favourite ship?
Lumity or Kuromaya now I've gotten back into the latter. I could write essays about both. I have in the case of Lumity
15. What's the WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?
Can I say all of them? LOL er jokes aside I could answer this question with my timeloop fic where Time dies in front of Twilight and Twi uses the ocarina to try to save him over and over, but I haven't even started that properly, and I still reserve the right to say I WILL finish it. It's just a way more complicated fic than anything else I've ever written and requires much more brainpower than I fear I currently have. I guess the WIP that is actually never getting finished is my Fluffbruary 2023 collection. RIP.
16. What are your writing strengths?
Dialogue and writing characters in character.
17. What are your writing weaknesses?
Anything other than those two things. But particularly writing descriptions.
18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic?
A couple of my fave blorbos are bilingual so I do it occasionally. But my brother is the one with a languages degree, not me, so I honestly try and avoid it.
19. First fandom you wrote for?
Zelda, back when I was 11. Which makes me happy that I'm still writing for it now.
20. Favourite fic you've ever written?
It's a bit hard to choose but I really love I've Built My Life Around You. I was attempting to capture a very specific feeling and I think I did it. Plus my writing is way too good in that fic, to the point where whenever I reread it I forget I'm the one who wrote it. And I reread it a lot cause it's my niche I want to read, which is why it probably qualifies as my fave.
Tagging anyone who wants to do this!
