Ambessa + face sitting
might make a small series with the arcane milfs for this one warnings: r! has a pussy, gn! terms, face sitting, light mentions of body/weight insecurities
Ambessa can spend hours eating you out without any problem, skilled and rough tongue laps over your lips and drinks your cum, pushing you over the edge more than you have done to yourself in moments where you spent the nights without her presence, or edging you until your eyes give in hot streams that reach the pillow underneath your head.
Being the dominant one in your relationship, she leads your activities frequently, moreover, she is observant of your likes and dislikes and never indulges or tries something that could cause any harm. You had realized her liking in having you completely bare, presenting your body to her, whilst she was fully clothed. It stroked some part of you that made you feel small, dominated, and most of all desired, by the lust hunger of her eyes once she opened the heavy gold door of her quarters and laid her gaze on you.
Until one night, the warlord was kneeling in front of your spread legs that she tossed on top of her broad shoulders face buried into your cunt as she sucked and rolled her tongue over your clit. You had lost count of how many times you had cummed on her tongue, and she wasn’t making any move to back away. You felt the red sheets beneath you start to damp from the boiling heat exhaling from your body causing a layer of sweat to form on you, moans, screams, and wails leaving your mouth as Ambessa sucked harder and coordinated with the flick of her tongue on your clit.
You were almost reaching another hard orgasm when she abruptly stopped, raising her head from your core, your juices were smeared over her lips and dripping on her chin – she was a messy eater – and rose to her foot towering her form over yours on the bed, finally addressing that she was going to fuck you and maybe let you rest for the night but she made her way to your side of the bed.
Ambessa’s large hands grab your thighs and manhandle you to straddle her large chest and hold you there by your hips, you don’t need to balance yourself from how hard and confident her grip is on your curves. Your grunts of insecurities about being too much to be on top of the warlord that pounded on your head and ached your heart were quickly stopped by a light slap on your ass, and her hands coming to squeeze the soft flesh there causing you to move closer to her face.
“Pretty thing…” she growled lower, her breath inches close to your core making you shiver from the cold contact against it. “I’ll just make you feel good like you were dripping all over my mouth just before.” Your tired legs were fighting against dropping your whole body not wanting to hurt her, but the sudden movement of her head made your clit return the touch with her mouth, a moan leaving your lips as the pleasure flooded your body again.
Her dark lips cupped your cunt and her tongue slipped out of her mouth delving into your insides as you hesitantly rolled your hips. Ambessa, noticing how stiff you were, held your hips and pushed lower onto her face with a delicate force that caused her tongue to slip more inside of you, a satisfied hum leaving her lips as she finally felt your weight pressing down on her.
The feeling of her nose pressing into your clit and the thick tongue stroking and lapping your dripping juices made your legs feel wobbly and it was getting hard to sustain your body. You reached for the headboard to gain some sustain but got stopped by the lack of Ambessa’s mouth on you, You grab that headboard and you’ll be prohibited to cum for how long I decide.”
Hands backing away from the place and returning to hold on to her forearms, you made your best decision to not disturb or interrupt a warlord’s favorite meal. She didn’t care for air, she didn’t care for anything at that moment. She was the strongest and most feared warlord, the chosen of the wolf, having no worries and only fulfilling her urge to savor a precious thing like you.

The afternoon sun illuminates your shared apartment with golden and red tones as you make your way through each room. Your girlfriend had left for some errands a little while ago and you tried everything to distract yourself, making sure to clean up and tidy, do the laundry and prepare dinner for tonight but you couldn‘t help the growing boredom, making you wish you would have accompanied Aggie now. As you pass through the hallway, the door to your girlfriends basement is slightly ajar and curiosity gets the better of you as you peak your head inside, seeing some faint lights and making your way down, assuming the brunette wasn‘t going to be home for another few hours.
This hadn‘t been the first time you are in her basement, her safe space where she works on her magic regularly. She had shown you everything once before, always wanting to include you as you had always been curious about her powers. You see some crystals on the table, countless plants and little vials with what you assume to be potions. Your fingers ghost over her bookshelfs, remembering she had told you not to touch those before as some are filled with dangerous magic. As you walk further down her workbench, your eyes linger on a drawer slightly ajar and something gets the better of you as you peak inside.
Your heart stops in your throat as you see the item, looking very much like a strap on, dark purple and several notes underneath it, incarnations by the looks of it. Your cheeks begin glowing red as your mind trails off, wondering why she would have this, what use it could be in combination with her magic. The two of you had taken things slow since you both started dating. Of course you had been intimate with each other but due to your shyness and the slight inexperience, you both kept things slow and gentle, never having talked about toys before or how to use them.
When you hear a faint noise upstairs, you slam it shut, sprinting upstairs before keeping the door exactly like it had been. You are just in time for the front door to unlock, Aggie stepping inside with several bags and kicking her shoes off before closing the door. With a smile you offer to take her bags as she smiles and presses a kiss to your forehead. „Hi sweet girl, what have you been up to?“ she asks as you unpack the grocery bags with shaking hands, trying to hide your nerves about the discovery you had made. „Not much“ you mumble before she chuckles „Liar“ which causes your eyes to widen as you glance at her. „Look at the place, everything is so clean“ she praises which causes you to sigh in relief inaudibly.
The two of you begin unpacking together, filling the fridge with the things she had bought as well as stocking up some bathroom shelves. Your girlfriend‘s hands linger on you whenever you brush past her and you can‘t help but tense, the discovery still vivid in your mind. By the time you prepare dinner the brunette disappeared to her basment for a while, checking on some of her potions before returning quietly, sneaking her arms around you as she hugs you from behind. You jump, flinching at the sudden sensation, almost dropping the spoon you are using to stir the food. Her eyebrows furrow at your reaction before she whispers „Sorry baby, didn‘t mean to startle you“. You remain quiet before forcing a chuckle „It‘s okay Aggie“‘you reassure.
By the time the two of you are having dinner together, her eyes burn holes into you as your gaze is fixed on your plate, mind continuously trailing off, wondering why Agatha had the strap in her basement, whether she had been wanting to do it or whether she has used it in the past before, suddenly growing extremely insecure. And your girlfriend can tell, knowing you are often quiet and in your own little world but something wasn‘t right since she returned home and she could tell. Her eyebrows furrow in concern as she reaches for your hand, causing you to meet her eyes.
Her thumb brushes gently over your knuckles as her concerned gaze locks onto yours. „Sweetheart“ she begins softly, voice laced with worry. „What‘s going on? you‘ve been so quiet since I got home“. Her tone is warm, patient but is makes your chest tighten either way. You bite your lip, unsure how to respond, mind racing back to the discovery and guilt consuming you. „I“ you start but your voice betrays you as you look down unable to meet her eyes. „It‘s nothing Aggie, I‘m fine really“ you try but the brunette tilts her head slightly, brows knitting together. „That doesn‘t sound very convincing darling, talk to me“ she encourages as she moves her chair closer, her presence calming and yet making the anxiety in your chest grow.
You shake your head, pulling your hand back as your eyes sting with tears „I‘m sorry“ you whisper, voice barely above a whisper. „Sorry?“ Agatha questions, confusion flickering across her face as she reaches out again, fingers warm as they rest on your arm. „Whatever for my love?“ she asks. Your chest heaves with a shaky breath and as you finally look at her again, tears brim in your eyes. „I.. was bored earlier and went into your basement“ you admit, voice breaking slightly. „I didn‘t mean to snoop, the door was open and I was just curious but I shouldn‘t have looked I‘m sorry“. Agatha blinks the confusion away as her expression softens, understanding filling her features.
„Oh sweet girl“ she coos, voice filled with affection „Is that‘s whats been eating you up?“ she asks as you nod but bite your lip. „I saw… I saw something in the drawer“ you admit, cheeks burning red with embarrassment. „I shouldn‘t have touched it. I know you told me not to mess with things but I couldn‘t help it“ you admit. Her lips curl into a knowing smile as her thumbs brush over your cheeks, seeing the tears threatening to spill over. „Hey hey, look at me“ she ushers „I‘m not mad at you sweetheart, I don‘t care that you went down there. Besides I‘ve never been good at keeping you away from things you are curious about“ she smiles, causing you to giggle.
There is silence for a moment before you speak again „But.. that thing I found.. why do you have it?“ you ask and her eyes widen for a brief moment before a mischievous smile tugs at her lips. „Ah.. the strap?“ she murmurs, causing your cheeks to glow red. „So you found that drawer, huh?“. You nod again, not daring to look at her right now as you didn‘t mean to invade her privacy, curious nevertheless. „That thing you found sweetheart? it‘s enchanted.. I‘ve been working on it for you, actually“ she admits, causing your eyes to meet hers again. „For me?“ you ask a bit dumfounded as she nods, her thumb brushing over your hand again.
She nods, her smile softening „I wanted to wait until you are ready to talk about something lile that. It‘s not just an ordinary toy, sweet girl. It‘s designed to connect us both in ways you can‘t begin to imagine- emotionally, physically and magically. But I didn‘t want to push you into anything until you are comfortable darling“ she explains calmly.
The tone of her voice and the honesty in her eyes makes your throat tighten. „I see, I‘m sorry for going through your things, I should have waited“ you admit, causing for her eyes to soften as she pulls you into her arms. „Don‘t worry about it sweet girl, I could never stay mad at you“ she chuckles as you hold onto her, snuggling in the crook of her neck, the familiar scent causing your heart to feel warm as she kisses your cheek. „I love you sweet girl“ she whispers before you smile „I love you too Aggie“. The two of you remain in the warmth of each other before she pulls away a little „Now how about we finish this delicious meal you made? Wouldn‘t want it going to waste“ she smiles which causes you to nod and turn your attention back on your food.
A few days pass and you can‘t help but think about her words, the dark purple item and how much you had been thinking about it. She intrigued you and you found yourself googling, doing some research as you hadn‘t experimented with toys before, not alone and not with Agatha. But there was something in the way she had been treating you since the beginning of your relationship, so patient, so kind despite her sarcastic and sometimes dark demenour that makes you feel even more drawn to her over the next few days. You had made up your mind that morning, seeing her so sleepy and adorable as she held you, preparing yourself with a long bath and choosing the appropriate lingerie. As the two of you sit together after dinner, watching some TV your eyes can‘t help but travel to your girlfriend, her rings, her shirt and the lilac collar.
„Aggie?“ you whisper which causes her attention to shift from the tv to you. „Yes sweet girl?“ she asks and you nudge closer before meeting her eyes. „Can I have a cuddle?“ you murmur which causes her to chuckle before she opens her arms for you. Instead though, you crawl onto her lap, facing her as you craddle her, the sudden motion causing her to look at you in surprise. Your eyes meet hers before you kiss her, soft, gentle and tentative as she melts into you. „Aggie I‘m ready“ you whisper into her ear which causes her surprised and confused eyes to meet your own. „Are you sure?“ she asks in surprise before you nod, a reassuring smile on your face. „Wait in bed for me sweet darling“ she coos before she kisses you one more time, fiercer this time before you walk away, letting her retrieve the item from her basement.
As you wait with anticipation, your breathing hitches as you undress yourself, having bought some new lingerie in her favorite colour, hoping it would please your girlfriend. Carefully you undress yourself, making sure not too make too much noise as you lay on the bed in the purple bra and panties. Aggie walks into the room moments later, strap and harness in her hand as her eyes trail to you, smirk raising on her lips as she closes the door. „Wow“ she murmurs as she approaches, seeing your abandoned clothes on the floor and her eyes trailing down your body. „When did you get these?“ she asks surprised and your shy gaze meets hers as you admit you had bought them when she was out the other day. „You look breathtaking babygirl“ she coos as she abandons the item on the floor, crawling on top of you as her face hovers above yours.
„Are you sure you are ready for this? I‘m happy to wait for as long as you need“ she offers but you nod, almost impatiently as you want nothing more to experience than what she had talked about. „Okay sweetie, it may hurt a little“ she admits and you nod, having read about that bit too. „Um Aggie?“ you whisper which causes her to look at you „Can you tell me how this works?“ you ask carefully as she nods. „So“ she begins as she captures your lips in a fierce kiss. „Whenever you are ready I‘m going to put this on my hips and then it‘s up to you what you wanna do. I can wear it for a bit“ she explains as her mouth travels to your chest, moving your bra aside as she captures your nipple in her mouth. „You can get on your knees and suck it“ she whispers as she lets go off it with a pop. „I can make you feel good baby“ she explains before carrying on „The enchanment lets me feel everything too.. so the experience is- very authentic“ she teases.
You listen to her words carefully, eyes locked onto hers as her mouth travels down your body, leaving hot kisses and gentle marks. Now usually Agatha wasn‘t this sweet and gentle with you, the two of you having experimented quiet a bit but considering this was your first time, considering how your hands trembled and breathing hitched but your eyes betraying how much you wanted this, she can‘t help herself. „Aggie please“ you whine as her hand travels to the waistband of your underwear, slowly pushing it aside as she collects your wetness on her fingers. „God sweetie you are soaked“ she gasps in surprise, never having felt you this wet before.
„I want it Aggie, I‘m ready“ you whisper as you close your eyes, feeling her fingers rubbing circles on your clit and teasing your entrance. She can‘t help but chuckle at your desperation, slowly leaving you with a kiss before she gets off the bed and puts the harness around her hips, making sure everything is in place and the enchantments ready for you. The sight takes your breath away, watching as she removes every single piece of clothing, leaving her butt naked with nothing other than the purple strap tugged neatly between her waist. Something within you takes over as you get off the bed, getting on your knees as your eyes meet hers, her pupils blown at your actions. With slow and gentle movements you wrap your hands around it, of course not being oblivious as to how this works. As soon as your hand touches her she leaves out a gasp, the feeling much better than she could have anticipated, sending shockwaves of pleasure through her body.
„Sweetie just like that“ she coos and before she can ask the question, you do what she told you earlier, opening your mouth as you suck the tip gently before taking some of her length into your mouth, sucking gently. Tears of bliss brim in her eyes as she sees you so obedient, on your knees for her sucking her off. „You‘re such a good girl“ she murmurs as her hands find your hair, slowly pushing you into her more as you supress the need to gag. Her taste is intoxicating and you tremble under the intensity of it all. Before too long, Agatha picks you up, putting you into her steady arms, causing you to gasp in surprise as she lowers you onto the bed. The older woman gets on her knees, capturing your lips into a more heated kiss as her tongue enters your mouth, tasting herself on you as she moans into you.
„Please Aggie“ you whimper again, body trembling with need for your girlfriend. „So desperate darling“ she teases before she sits up on her knees again, aligning herself careful with your entrance as she had pulled your panties off a while ago during your making out. Her eyes find yours, checking for any sign of hesitation but when she finds none, simply pure desperation and want, she leans down, her strap teasing your entrance as she whispers „If this gets too much you tell me. I don‘t care okay? you tell me. I just care about making you comfortable“ she says, her tone firm as she wants to make sure you understand her words. You nod before she stops you, her hands tugging under your chin „Words sweetie“ and you quickly mumble a „Yes I promise“ before she smiles.
The older woman doesn‘t waste anymore time, hands balancing on your knees as she gently pushes the tip in, causing your eyes to close and your hands to grip the sheets. Just like she said the sensation feels a little painful at first but with how slow she is fucking you, you quickly adjust before the pure bliss takes over. Your eyes rip open as you lock eyes with her, hands gripping the sheets to the point your knuckles turning white as gutteral moans escape you, ones that you can‘t even hold in. She takes note of course, adjusting her pace as she begins sinking into you deeper, her eyes closing, moaning herself as she stretches you so well, feeling your walls pulsing around her cock.
„Aggie“ you cry out, the sensation taking over you as you see the lilac smoke in the air from the spells, feeling the magic tickle across your body and spread into every fiber of your being. Your chest heaves with pleasure and as Agatha collapses onto you, still deep inside you, her hips moving the perfect rhythm, something takes over you. Hungry lips clashing against her own as you your tongues dance together, the two of you taken over by the pure bliss of it all as your hips move together, pushing your hips forward to meet her. The room is filled with sloppy noises from your soaking pussy meeting her cock. „Oh god“ you cry out, tears of bliss streaming down your cheeks as Agatha‘s fingers gently wipe them.
„Are you“ she begins but stops herself when a gutteral moan escapes her „Doing okay swee- sweet girl“ she moans out of breath as you nod, the witch able to see that words aren‘t going to manage to escape you right now. „Aggie I need more“ you whine, feeling the pure bliss take over. She leans back, pulling out of you for only a second before turning you on your back, face hitting the pillow as you lift your ass to meet her. She goes on her knees again, the new angle letting her hit into you even harder and she is beyond surprised at how well you are taking her, the shy side suddenly completely gone as this was so much more than vanilla.
Her pupils are blown as she feels your walls pulsing even more, your juices beginning to leak down her cock. With a last effort her free hand wraps around your throat, moving your head forward to capture your neck in a kiss. She takes your hair, pulling at it as she fucks you at a ruthless pace from behind. „Mommy“ you whimper, barely above a whisper as your entire body is on fire, feeling her magic flowing through you, the strap hitting you so perfectly and her moans only bringing you closer. „Aggie I‘m“ you can‘t even finish before she whispers „Cum for mommy“ leaving no room for arguments as your head pushes further back, her hand tightly pulling your hair as screams errupt in the bedroom. Her name flows from you so naturally and the last waves of magic flow through your body.
The orgasm feels like drugs to you, Agatha pulling out just in time and covering your ass in her cum, the two of you panting messes as the ability to breathe leaves you for a while. By the time she collapses next to you, she sees how tense you are, head completely red before she quickly wipes your sweat and tears „Breathe sweetie“ she instructs and as her hand finds it‘s way to your chest, you remember to do just that, ragged breathing leaving your mouth. „That was“ she begins but you interrupt her „Amazing“. She snuggles closer to you, holding you in her arms for a while as you both come down from this. By the time she begins fiddling with the harness your hands find hers, stopping her movements.
Her eyebrows raise in surprise as you shake your head a little, a questioning pout on your face „My sweet girl wants to go again?“ she teases, usually the two of you keeping things slow and gentle, never doing more than one or two gos when being intimate. She watches in awe as you balance on your knees, adjusting her strap as you climb onto her and the imagine of seeing you on top, watching as you allign her dick with your soaked pussy, climbing on top and beginning to ride her, she‘s in complete bliss and awe. Your tits bounce as your hands grip hers, tight as you enter her fully again, riding her so perfectly almost as if the strap had taken away your shyness and every ounce of holding back you had shown before.
„God baby- you‘re so damn hot“ she mumbles as she holds your hips in place, moving into you at the perfect pace and causing that familiar feeling back in your bodies. The two of you can feel everything together, the magic flowing through your veins, stomachs tightening as the familiar urge to burst returns. „Mommy“ you moan, eyes closed and there is something about how she is having you right now that makes your girlfriend love you even more, having waited to get this side out of you as she knew it was there somewhere. The two of you only manage to keep the pace for bare seconds before you are both close, moans and screams errupting in the bedroom as all you can hear is the sound of skin slapping and your combined wetness.
„Aggie?“ you whine, opening your eyes to meet hers „Yes sweetie?“ she struggles through her ragged breathing as you whisper „Can you cum inside me please?“. Her puplis blow even more, hands travelling up your chest and finding your throat as she gently squeezes. „Oh god“ she rolls her eyes back, unable to believe this. „Do you want mommy to fill you up my angel?“ she manages to coo and you nod frantically before she picks up the pace, pushing your hips up and down her cock and before you know it, your orgasms wash over you and you feel her hot cum inside you. Neither of you think about moving, eventually you collapsing onto her chest but staying inside as she captures your lips in a kiss.
„I love you Aggie“ you whisper as you both catch your breathing and her smile returns quickly, proud and loving as she moves the sweat covered hair from your forehead. „I love you so much sweet girl“ she coos before you find each other‘s lips again, the same hunger and desperation. And if one thing was for sure, neither of you wanted this to stop and as Aggie begins moving slowly again you almost feel like cumming again. And the two of you knew this was going to be a long night, the woman having left her door and the drawer ajar for a purpose of course and she couldn‘t be more prouder of you for tonight. And you couldn‘t get enough, the taste of her, the feel and filling you with her cum like an addiction, intoxicating you and driving you crazy, crazy for your Aggie.

as the riki walked down the quiet street, his heart raced faster than his footsteps. the bouquet of daisies and soft pink roses he held in his trembling hands was a stark contrast to the biting winter air that turned his cheeks redder by the second. he kept glancing at his reflection in store windows, adjusting his scarf nervously.
today wasn’t just any day—it was the day. the day he’d finally confess his feelings to you. for years, you’d been his best friend, his confidante, the one who made him laugh even on his darkest days and now, here he was, walking toward your house, knowing this wasn’t just a casual outing. it was you guys first date.
the thought made his stomach twist in knots. what if you didn’t feel the same? what if he ruined everything? he shook the doubts away, taking a deep breath. you had agreed to this date after all and that had to mean something. he gripped the flowers tighter, his palms sweaty despite the chill.
as your house came into view, he paused, his heart pounding louder than ever. He took another deep breath and forced himself to smile. no turning back now. today was the day he’d tell you—tell you how much you mean to him, how you’d always been more than just a friend. whatever happened next, he was ready to take the leap.
riki stood at your doorstep, heart thudding in his chest as he stared at the polished wooden door. he adjusted his scarf one last time, took a deep breath, and raised a shaky hand to knock. before he could, the door swung open, and there you were, framed by the warm glow of the house behind you.
“hey!” you greeted, your smile wide and welcoming. your cheeks were a little flushed, whether from the cold or something else, he couldn’t tell. you looked effortlessly beautiful, your cozy sweater and scarf making you seem so at ease, while he felt like a bundle of nerves barely holding it together.
“hi,” he managed, his voice cracking slightly. he cleared his throat quickly and thrust the bouquet forward. “uh, these are for you.”
your eyes lit up as you looked at the flowers, and you let out a soft laugh. “they’re beautiful, thank you!” you reached out to take them, your fingers brushing his for a moment, and he swore his heart skipped a beat. “you didn’t have to, you know.”
“i—uh, i wanted to,” he said, fumbling over the words. “i mean, it’s a special day… i mean, not just because of the date—uh, i mean the calendar date, not our date—” he stopped himself, realizing he was rambling. “sorry i’m nervous.”
you laughed again, this time a little softer, your gaze meeting his. “you don’t need to be nervous, it’s just me,” you said, your tone reassuring.
“that’s exactly why i’m nervous,” he admitted before he could stop himself, his cheeks immediately heating up. “i just… i want today to be perfect.”
your expression softened and you stepped closer, your eyes searching his. “it already is,” you said quietly, holding the bouquet to your chest. “come on, let’s go. we’ll figure out the rest together.” he smiled then, feeling a bit of the tension melt away. together. maybe today would go just the way he’d hoped after all.
the crisp winter air nipped at you and rikis noses as you two arrived at the ice skating rink. string lights hung above, casting a warm glow over the sparkling ice. the sound of laughter and the scrape of skates against the rink filled the air. you looked around, your eyes wide with excitement.
“i haven’t been ice skating in ages!” you exclaimed, turning to him with a grin. “me neither,” he admitted, though he wasn’t sure if it was the truth. his focus wasn’t on skating—it was on making this day special for you.
you two picked up your skates and as you two sat on a nearby bench to put them on, he noticed you struggling with the laces. “here let me help” he said, kneeling down before you could protest.“you don’t have to-” you started, but he was already working on the first skate, his fingers deftly tying the laces with care.
“i want to,” he said, glancing up at you with a small, nervous smile. he couldn’t help but notice how close you two were, your face just inches from his. you smiled softly, your gaze lingering on him as he finished the second shoe. “there all set,” he said, standing and offering his hand to help you up.“thanks,” you said, slipping your hand into his. your touch was warm despite the chill, and he found himself reluctant to let go.
on the ice, it was clear you were both rusty. you wobbled almost immediately, letting out a squeal as your arms flailed for balance. “woah, careful!” he said, laughing as he reached out to steady you. you grabbed onto his arm, gripping it tightly.
“you said you were rusty too!” you accused playfully, though your grin gave you away. “i am!” he protested. “but i think i’m a little less… wobbly than you.”
you gave him a mock glare but clung to his arm as you glided—well, shuffled—across the ice together. every now and then, you’d laugh as you nearly lost your balance and he couldn’t help but join in, his nerves slowly melting away with every smile you gave him.
at one point, you tugged him toward the middle of the rink. “let’s try going faster!” you said, your eyes sparkling with mischief. “are you trying to make us both to fall?” he asked, but he couldn’t say no to you. now picking up speed, your hands clasped tightly together. when you stumbled, he caught you, pulling you close to steady you. “see? you’re getting the hang of it,” he said, his voice soft as he looked down at you.
“only because i have you to hold on to,” you replied, your cheeks pink—not just from the cold. you and rikis eyes met and for a moment, the rest of the world faded away.
as you two skated, you found herself stealing glances at him. there was something endearing about the way he focused so intently, like he was determined to make sure you didn’t fall. you felt your heart flutter every time he reached out to steady you or laughed with you.
he, on the other hand, couldn’t stop thinking about how effortlessly you lit up the entire rink. every laugh, every smile, made his chest feel warm despite the freezing air. he wanted this moment to last forever, wanted you to know how much you meant to him.
as you two reached the edge of the rink, both cheeks flushed from the cold and laughter, you slowed to a stop. you leaned on the barrier, brushing a strand of hair from your face, your breath visible in the chilly air.
“you’re not so bad at this after all,” you teased, glancing at him with a playful smile.“thanks,” he replied, grinning. “but i think you’re the one stealing the show out there.”
you laughed, shaking your head. “sure, if by ‘stealing the show,’ you mean almost falling on my face every five seconds.”
“you call it falling, i call it making a dramatic entrance,” he said, earning another laugh from you. the sound made his chest feel light, like he could float away.
standing there for a moment, catching your breath. riki hesitated, the words he wanted to say lingering on the tip of his tongue but instead of speaking, he shoved his hands into his coat pockets and glanced at you.
“you know,” he said, breaking the silence, “all this skating has me craving something sweet. want to go grab some ice cream?” your eyes lit up and you turned to him with an incredulous laugh. “ice cream? in this weather?”
he shrugged, trying to play it cool despite the slight tremor of nerves in his voice. “what can i say? ice cream is a year round thing.” you tilted your head, pretending to think it over. “hmm, i suppose i could be convinced. but only if you promise not to steal all the toppings.”
“deal,” he said, his grin widening. he offered his hand, and when you took it, your fingers fit perfectly in his.
as you two left the rink and walked toward the nearest ice cream shop, laughter echoed into the crisp evening air. neither of you said it out loud, but you both felt it—this was more than just a good day. this was the start of something you’d both remember for a long time.
the warmth of the ice cream shop was a welcome contrast to the crisp winter air outside. the smell of freshly made waffle cones filled the air and the glass display case showcased an array of brightly colored ice cream flavors. you pressed your face to the glass, scanning the options with wide eyes.
“okayyy,” she said, pointing dramatically. “strawberry cheesecake, always the winner.”
“solid choice,” he said, nodding. “but i think i’m going with cookie dough.”
“you’re so predictable,” you teased, shooting him a grin.
“and you’re not?” he countered with a laugh. “strawberry cheesecake every time?”
“hey, don’t knock it till you try it,” you replied as you two stepped up to the counter to place your orders.
minutes later, you and riki were sitting at a small table by the window, your cones in hand. outside, the world was still covered in a blanket of winter, but in here, the laughter and warmth felt like a bubble just for the two of you.
“so,” you said between bites of your ice cream, “do you always eat ice cream in freezing weather or is this just a special occasion?” riki shrugged, smirking. “ice cream’s good anytime but i guess today feels… special.” you paused, your ice cream hovering in the air and smiled softly at him. “yeah…it does.”
as you took another bite, a tiny smudge of ice cream clung to the corner of your mouth. he noticed it instantly, his heart skipping a beat.
“you’ve got a little…” he said, motioning to his own mouth. you frowned, confused. “what? where?”
“here,” he said softly, leaning in. before you could protest, he reached out with his thumb and gently wiped the ice cream away. his touch lingered for a moment, his hand close to your cheek.
your breath caught and you sat still, looking up at him. your eyes met and the playful banter faded into silence. the world around you two seemed to blur, the warmth of the shop and the soft hum of conversation fading into the background. all tiki could see was you—the way your eyes sparkled under the shop’s lights, the slight flush on your cheeks.
you felt your heart racing as his gaze held yours. his hand dropped slowly and for a moment, neither of you spoke.
“thanks,” you finally said, your voice barely above a whisper, your lips curving into a small, shy smile. “anytime,” he replied softly, his own cheeks a little pink now.
the moment lingered between you both, full of unspoken words and something new, something neither of you were ready to name just yet. then, as if on cue, you laughed lightly, breaking the tension.
“you’re lucky i didn’t get sprinkles,” you said, your tone teasing again. he chuckled, grateful for the ease in your voice. “true, that could’ve been a real disaster.”
you both laughed and just like that, the moment passed, leaving behind a warmth that neither of you could shake as you finished your cones and ventured back out into the winter air.
as you two stepped out of the ice cream shop, you and rikis laughter lingering in the frosty air, he glanced at you with a small, nervous smile. his hands were tucked into his coat pockets and his heart raced as he finally worked up the courage to say it.
“so, uh… i have one more surprise for you,” he said, his voice tentative.
you turned to him, your eyes lighting up with curiosity. “another surprise? you’re really pulling out all the stops today.”he chuckled, shrugging. “well, i just thought you deserved a day that’s… special. come on, you’ll see.”
intrigued, you followed him as you two walked through the softly illuminated streets. the quiet crunch of snow beneath you and his boots were accompanied by your soft hums of contentment. eventually, you two arrived at a gated entrance glowing with an otherworldly light. a sign read “the imaginarium”, and through the entrance, the entire area seemed to sparkle and shimmer like a dreamscape.
your breath hitched as you took it all in. “this… this is amazing,” you whispered. “come on,” he said, offering his hand. you didn’t hesitate, slipping your fingers into his. your touch sent a warmth coursing through him that no winter chill could touch.
inside, the Imaginarium was a wonderland of lights and color. twinkling displays of glowing flowers, cascading streams of light that looked like waterfalls, and luminous arches stretched across the pathways. ypu walked slowly, your eyes wide with wonder, marveling at each glowing creation.
“this is incredible,” she said, your voice filled with awe. you pointed at a field of tiny glowing mushrooms that pulsed gently with shifting hues. “look at that—it’s like a fairy tale come to life.”
riki barely heard you. his gaze wasn’t on the lights or the displays—it was on you. the way your eyes sparkled brighter than the lights themselves, the way your breath fogged in the cold as you spoke, the soft, genuine smile that hadn’t left your face since they’d entered.
you let out a delighted laugh when you spotted a tunnel of stars, their golden light shimmering above like a celestial canopy. as you walked ahead to admire it, your hand still in his, riki couldn’t take his eyes off you. the glow of the lights danced across your face, illuminating your soft features in a way that took his breath away.
you turned to him, catching him mid stare. “what?” you asked, tilting your head slightly, a playful smile on your lips. he blinked, caught off guard. “nothing,” he said quickly, his voice soft. but then, unable to stop himself, he added, “it’s just… you look so happy. i love seeing you like this.”
your cheeks turned pink, though whether it was from the cold or his words, he couldn’t tell. “well, this is kind of magical,” you admitted, your voice quieter now. “thank you for bringing me here.” “anytime,” he said, his tone sincere. “i mean it.”
you and riki continued walking, your hand still in his. every now and then, you’d stop to admire another display, gasping softly at the details, while he simply stood beside you, his gaze never leaving you. to him, the lights, the beauty of the imaginarium—they all paled in comparison to you. the way you lit up, the way your joy was so genuine, it made everything else feel like a backdrop to your presence.
at one point, you and him reached a small pond surrounded by glowing reeds and lily pads that seemed to float on the surface, their soft hues reflecting in the water. you leaned against the railing, taking it all in with a dreamy expression. riki stood beside you, his heart full, unable to stop himself from memorizing every detail of your face—the curve of your lips, the way your eyes shone, the gentle way your scarf framed your features.
you turned to him again, your smile soft this time. “you’ve been quiet, are you okay?” he nodded, his throat tight with emotion he wasn’t sure he could put into words. “yeah,” he said finally, his voice barely above a whisper. “i’m more than okay.” your gaze lingered on him for a moment before you squeezed his hand. “good,” you said, your voice just as soft.
as you two continued through the glowing wonderland, hand in hand, he knew one thing for certain : he could have spent the entire night in the imaginarium and never looked at a single light, as long as he was with you.
the path through the imaginarium led them to a grove bathed in soft, golden light. the trees were wrapped in strands of tiny, glimmering bulbs that cascaded down like waterfalls, swaying gently in the breeze. overhead, a canopy of suspended orbs glowed like floating moons, their light shifting from white to gold to the faintest pink. the snow beneath their feet sparkled faintly, reflecting the magic of the lights above.
you walked ahead of him, your hand still in his, your soft laughter carrying on the crisp night air. your eyes were alight with wonder, darting from one glowing creation to another. occasionally, you’d point something out, a strand of lights that mimicked shooting stars or a delicate sculpture made entirely of shimmering glass. your voice was filled with awe and your smile was brighter than any light around them.
but while you admired the world around you, riki admired you. the way the lights danced across your face, casting delicate patterns on your skin, made you look almost otherworldly. your hair caught the golden glow, framing you in a soft halo that seemed to pulse with every step you took. your cheeks were flushed from the cold, your breath visible in tiny clouds and your scarf was slightly askew, but to him, you had never looked more perfect.
you stopped beneath an archway of intertwining lights, the beams curving overhead like the ribs of a glowing cathedral. you turned back to him, your eyes wide with excitement. “look at this,” you said, gesturing upward. “it’s like standing inside a constellation.”
riki barely heard your words. his heart was pounding in his chest as he took you in. your face, so full of wonder, seemed to glow from within. every detail of you—your sparkling eyes, the gentle curve of your lips, the way your hand fit so perfectly in his—was etched into his mind. in that moment, the beauty of the lights around them seemed to fade, paling in comparison to you.
it hit him like a sudden wave..this is it. the feeling that had been growing inside him, simmering quietly for years, could no longer be ignored. seeing you like this, so radiant and full of life, made him realize that no moment would ever be more perfect. he couldn’t keep it in any longer.
“hey,” he said, his voice soft, yet steady. you turned to him fully, your head tilting slightly. “what is it?” you asked, your expression curious.
he took a deep breath, his fingers tightening around yours. the words felt heavy, like they carried every ounce of emotion he had been holding back. “i need to tell you something,” he began, his voice quieter now, almost trembling with vulnerability.
your expression shifted, your eyes searching his face. “you’re being serious,” you said softly, your tone laced with concern and curiosity.
“i am,” he said, nodding. he took a step closer, so close now that he could see the reflection of the lights in your eyes, the way they shimmered like liquid gold. “i’ve been thinking about this for a long time, and… i can’t keep it to myself anymore.”
your brows furrowed slightly but you didn’t say anything. you just waited, giving him your full attention, your hand still warm in his.
“you—” he paused, swallowing hard as he gathered his thoughts. “you mean so much to me, more than i think you realize. and today, seeing you like this, seeing you so happy, so… beautiful…” he trailed off for a moment, his chest tightening. “i realized that i can’t go another day without saying it.”
your lips parted slightly, your breath visible in the cold air as you stared at him, your expression unreadable. “saying what?” you asked softly, your voice barely above a whisper.
he exhaled shakily, his gaze locked on yours. “that i care about you..not just as a friend, not just as someone i love spending time with… but as someone i’ve fallen for. completely.”
your eyes widened slightly, the lights above catching the faint shimmer of emotion in them. the world around you two seemed to pause, the sounds of distant laughter and soft music fading into silence. all he could hear was his own heartbeat, thundering in his chest as he waited for your to respond.
he took another breath, his voice growing steadier as the emotions poured out of him. “you’ve always been this… light in my life, you know? like no matter how hard things get or how much the world feels like it’s falling apart, you’re there and suddenly everything makes sense again. you make things better, just by being you.”
you were silent, your lips slightly parted as you listened, your hand still in his. the golden light above them danced across your face, illuminating the soft flush of your cheeks, the slight shimmer in your eyes.
“you’re the first person i want to talk to when something amazing happens,” he continued, his voice filled with quiet urgency. “and the only one i want to see when things feel impossible. i look at you, and it’s like..it’s like the world slows down. and today, seeing you here, like this..it’s made me realize something i’ve been trying to deny for too long.”
he took a small step closer, the space between them narrowing until he could feel the faint warmth radiating from you despite the winter chill. his gaze softened as he looked down at you, taking in every detail of your expression.
“i realized that i don’t just like being with you. i need to be with you,” he said, his voice barely above a whisper now. “you make everything brighter, everything better. and i-” he paused, his throat tightening, but he pressed on. “i’ve fallen in love with you, completely. and i don’t know where this will go, or how you feel, but i had to tell you because you deserve to know just how much you mean to me.”
your eyes glistened as you stared at him, your breath hitching slightly. the silence stretched between them, heavy with unspoken feelings, as the golden lights flickered softly above. he held his breath, waiting for your response, his heart pounding like a drum in his chest and for a moment, time seemed to stand still.
riki took another step closer, your hands still intertwined, his thumb gently brushing over your knuckles. his heart raced, the weight of the moment pressing against his chest. the lights around them seemed to blur into a soft golden haze, as if the universe itself was holding its breath, waiting for what would happen next.
“i know this might feel like a lot,” he said, his voice quieter now but no less earnest. “and i know this changes everything but i also know that i don’t want to keep wondering, or waiting, or pretending these feelings don’t exist.”
his gaze locked with yours, his eyes soft and full of vulnerability. “you mean so much to me, more than i can ever put into words and i want to be the one who makes you smile like this every day. i want to be by your side, not just as your friend, but as..something more.”
he let out a breath, the faintest mist forming in the cold air as he finally asked the question that had been building inside him for so long. “will you be my girlfriend?”
the words hung in the air between them, fragile yet powerful, carrying every ounce of hope, fear, and love he felt for you. your eyes widened slightly, your breath catching as you stared at him, the golden lights reflecting in your gaze.
you opened your mouth to speak, but no words came out at first. the world seemed to slow, every second stretching out endlessly as he waited, his heart pounding so loudly he was sure she could hear it. your lips parted again and you drew in a breath, your expression unreadable.
and then she gave him a response—
wouldn’t you like to know - (hobie brown from spiderman)

There all along - Choi Su-Bong/thanos x reader part 1/?
Summary: Losing someone who meant alot to you was hard, having to live with it for three years you finally went back to the games to try and get revenge, but a new guard refuses to leave you alone, resulting in you being sent home for the first time in game history.
Warnings: death, you purposely getting people killed, heavy heavy drug use
During the games it was safe to say that you and Thanos got very very close, much to Nam-gyu's disliking. Thanos liked you though, you stubborn, rude, and rough, but whenever you grabbed his hand shaking like a leaf scared, you were so gentle, like you didn't even know how to hurt somebody if you tried. He got the sudden urge to protect you the moment you held onto his jacket for the first time in red light greenlight, it wasn't like you meant to, you went to hide behind him and before you knew it your hands were clenching his jacket.
You didn't mind it though, Thanos was an asshole, but he was always protective over you, only ever spitting off embarrassing raps that he'd come up with on the spot about your looks. As you walked back in from mingle you held onto Su-bong's arm, he just held your hand that held onto him walking towards their little area they claimed, cheering and chanting something about one more game. As Thanos sat down he pulled you down with him, helping you down a step lower to sit in between his legs, using his thighs and hips as a back rest "So, We got one more game, then we're gonna go right?" Nam-Gyu asked, shooting you a harsh glare "I dunno Nam-su, I think we could do two more?" You snapped in a smartass tone purposely getting his name wrong as you looked at your boyfriend smiling "We can play as many as you like, as long as you like, baby" He smirked holding your chin in between his fingers, you melted in his touch, his blue eyes staring into yours like he could see every thought in your brain "It's Nam-gyu, bitch" he snapped, you just rolled your eyes, grunting as Thanos suddenly raised his arms in the air "Stop it!, don't call her that, y/n leave him alone" He stated, shooting you a stern look.
Whenever they all left for the bathroom you laid down, thinking nothing of it, until the piggy bank lowered and started to fill, the loud speaker listing off players that were eliminated. What the fuck happened in there? You started to think before your heart dropped "Player 230 eliminated" Echoed in your brain as the doors opened and everybody started to walk in, your eyes immediately fell on Nam-gyu holding Thanos's pill necklace in his hands that were covered in blood. You jumped up rushing down, Nam-gyu immediately taking notice to the fiery glare in your eyes "What did you do!?" You screamed, swinging your fist, it connecting right where his jaw curved, sending him to the ground "T-The X's just started attacking us!" He shouted being looking up pointing at the guy who Thanos first got into a fight with whenever you first arrived "H-he's the one who did it!" He shouted, not wanting to die at the hands of a grieving psycho, you stood up, freezing as a guard shoved a gun into your back, stopping you from attacking the player "We ask that you all compose yourselves, as the voting process will start tomorrow first thing, please use this time to think over your futures" The guard shouted, you just kept your glare set on player 333, you were going to for sure kill him the first chance you got. As soon as the gaurd left you, you leaned down snatching your boyfriend's necklace from his stupid friend making your way back to the bunks, crawling into his bunk laying down.
Thanos woke up with a gasp, feeling at his throat and jaw, wincing as he felt stitching thread sitting inside of his skin holding it closed "Player 230, you have been eliminated, but we are offering you a chance to still earn money, if you are willing to accept we shall allow you to become part of our staff of guards for the games, if you choose to decline, we will eliminate you from the games" The guard spoke.
Whenever you walked into the address Thanos had left you with, you were greeted by a fluffy dog, a note sitting on the counter of the kitchen
'Su-bong! Congrats on the game show! So glad you're back home, we took care of your baby for you!'
Su-bong, it was a pretty name, you weren't sure why he chose Thanos instead of that, you explored the house further, getting a new sense of who your boyfriend was beyond the games. You would continue on for three years, growing close with Thanos's previous friends and neighbor, as you were lying on the couch one night, you heard soft scratching at your door, slowly walking over and opening it, you spotted a small black and pink envelope, you felt like it was a dream, or like it was some sick joke, as you opened the card you saw the familiar shapes and numbers. You felt sick, but deep down, you had a drive, a drive to revenge Thanos in the only way you knew how to. Hearing the phone trill and the deep voice ask for your name and date of birth, repeating the information back you looked at your baby "Don't worry, your daddy would want me to do this"
Oh were you so wrong, as soon as Su-bong got information back that y/n l/n was becoming a player again, he was fuming, why the hell would you come back? What was your reasoning? God he wanted to kill you for being so stupid.
Waking up in the large room again was startling, you didn't even go to a pick up spot, you literally just fell asleep at home, now you were back? Slowly walking to the center of the room with everybody, you took notice to the different things they had added and taken away, and how quickly they rushed you to the first game. Walking into redlight greenlight you held the cross necklace tightly in your hand, yelping whenever a guard yanked you back behind one of the large green doors that were propped open "What are you doing back, y- Player 243" The guard said, and for a minute, you could swear you knew his voice, but you quickly shook it off. "Just like everybody else, trying to win money" You snapped shoving past the circle guard, not being able to shake him whispering 'still just as rough' like he knew you. After being through the games once before it made the game relatively easy, but slightly boring aswell. You opened the cross locket, new fresh pills sitting neatly inside, you never said you were clean, you had picked up the habit about three days after getting home, emptying out the remainder of his stash within a week. As you set the pill on your tongue locking the necklace back you waited for it to kick in, not ignoring the guard slowly making his way to the other end of the field.
The pill hit you faster than expected, leaving you a smiling mess skipping around the field as people panicked, having the same realization you did the first time you ever played, but you didn't care though, you jumped and skipped towards the end, purposely bumping into people as you went by causing their eliminations. As you leaped across the safety point you cheered, flipping the doll off before a hand grabbed you dragging you off through a doorway hidden within the wallpaper. You looked around, this area was different than the rest, dark blue and purple walls with no doors, just stairs "Are you high right now?" The guard asked, the way his hands grabbed you relaxed you rather than scared you, you couldn't place why though, you tried to break free of his grasp, but he just tightened his hold "l-let go y-you're hurting me" You whispered trying to break free, the walls opened up as the players funneled in to go back to the room, an older man coming over "Excuse me, but I believe she asked you to let her go" He demanded, the guard dropped his hold, you immediately clung to the man holding onto his jacket tightly as you both walked back to the room. You spent dinner time getting to know player 213, who ended up being a younger guy who was fucked over in the same way your late boyfriend was.
When lights out came, you tried to make your way back, but three guards stopped you, rising their guns and escorting you out, your hands shook violently, this was new, maybe they were onto you? You were stopped in a large room, a giant screen showing the field for redlight greenlight "Player 243, you're causing quite the distraction for one of my guards" A man in a black mask and long coat said approaching you "I-I don't even know any guards! He is causing a distraction for me!" You argued, trying to hide your body shaking to the point it could be mistaken as a seizure, you weren't sure if you were going to die or not, you had a puppy had home to care for, you couldn't die. "So we're willing to offer you a deal. go home. Don't come back, and don't try to either" He said, you tilted your head "How does that benefit me in any way?" You asked, attitude lacing your tone with a hint of annoyance "Just take the deal, y/n, it's safer" You heard someone speak from a few feet behind you "Oh my god...you!? What is your fucking deal with me!? Who are you!?" You asked looking at the stupid O mask "You look so stupid just standing there!" You shouted starting to grow angry "Go ahead number 30" You heard the other masked guy say, and you watched as the guard pulled his mask off, the black underhood covering everything that a few strands of hair and bright blue eyes, and for a moment you had to remind yourself, Su-bong was dead.
Watching him pull off the underhood your breath got stuck in your throat, his overgrown purple hair was laying in every different direction, being slightly shorter than him allowed you to see the scar underneath his jaw. "S-Su-b-" You started but he shot you a harsh glare, you felt your hands start to shake, your mind starting to spiral, god damn did you need a high right now, and a damn good one at that. "30" He replied harshly, this was a different Su-bong than you knew, you barely recognized this version. "I thought you died" You whispered, feeling yourself lose your voice "I'll explain later, just take the deal, leave. go. don't come back" He said harshly, taking long strides to stand in front of you staring you down "O-Ok, If you want me to go" You whispered, looking back towards the man in the black mask who just nodded. Su-bong put his mask back on as he walked you out towards a dock inside of a cave somewhere within the building you had played the games in. You stayed silent, occasionally looking at him, studying his face, almost four years of not seeing him, of thinking he had died, and yet he was here. As he walked ahead slightly to scan his mask you took the opportunity to pop another pill into your mouth, ingesting it quickly right as his head turned around to stare at you, somehow even without being able to see his face you could feel his glare on you.
You stepped on the boat watching as Su-bong stood back as another person held a cloth to your face, you didn't fight it off, his words repeating in your head 'Ill explain later' Was he coming back? Waking back up in your actual bed was relieving, but you had a need deepness in your chest, Thanos was still out there..and he left you. You laid in bed for what felt like months, trying desperately to find a way back to the island to find Su-bong while being high out of your mind, until one night. It was maybe three or four am, you were wide awake, music blaring in your headphones while looking at the paperwork you had out in front of you, a rolled joint in one hand, a pill in the other. Popping the pill in your mouth you groaned, none of these papers made sense at all, and you could've sworn you heard the lock to the door try to click three different times in the last minute, thats whenever you did hear it click, you quickly walked over holding the door shut, not wanting whoever was trying to break in, in. "So help me.." You heard a frustrated and exhausted voice mutter before you were knocked off of your feet.

fashionkilla! reader actin toxic w chris — king of toxic shit. [ SITUATIONSHIP ] 𝇄 𝇃
“i don’t even wanna listen to you anymore, jesus fuck” you rudely dismissed him when he tried to open his mouth again and say bullshit that you barely tried understood. your tone was harsh, not a shred of emotion veiling it — you didn’t care. “you keep sayin’ shit, and i aint got time for this”
chris didn’t understand, he just didn’t understand. his jaw was clenched tightly as he watched you finish getting ready, his hands resting on your desk, the look on his face intense like he would kill with it. “oh yeah? got no time, baby? and yet you’re still here” he chuckled sarcastically, his tongue teasing the inside of his cheek almost nervously.
you rolled your eyes, getting closer to the mirror as you finished applying your powder. “when i do my makeup i just couldn’t care less ‘bout your childish problems,” you had the nerve to shrug, not even looking at him as he approached slowly. chris’s patience then snapped like a frayed wire. his hands, before you could fully process his movement, gripped your face. the dirty—feeling touch was firm but not quite bruising, forcing you to stop your motions and look at him in the mirror.
“childish problems?” he echoed, his voice low and breathy as he spoke close to your ear. his thumb pressed lightly into your cheek, tipping your face upward so you just couldn’t avoid his gaze. eyes dark, drilling into yours through the reflection like a reminder. “that’s funny, baby, because i don’t think bein’ worried ‘bout you not being loyal is childish”
your heart thudded, but you didn’t let it show. Instead, you smirked, lips curving just enough to fuel his irritation. “not loyal?” you drawled, voice dripping with more and sharp sarcasm. “that what you think? god, you’re actin’ real stupid now.” you reached up to pry his hand away, but his grip tightened, his thumb now brushing the corner of your lips with calculated pressure. “it’s a party, chris. and it’s not like i gotta be loyal, you ain’t my boy”
he was silent for a moment, there was a hidden clue in the threat of his forced touch; he just wanted to touch you so bad, his hands getting to touch your skin when you’re being like that feels like something rare as gold. “do you really want to do this?” he then muttered, raising an eyebrow. “do what?” you blurted out in response, finally turning to him as you pulled away from his touch—taking advantage of his softening to slip out of it. “go out and live my life? Is that what’s threatening you so much?”
"it's not like that, you know"
“you’re pathetic, chris” you dropped the bomb that you’d been hiding behind your back, shaking your head as you ran a hand through your hair. “you’re so pathetic that i feel fuckin’ bad for you, you know? maybe the only feelin’ i have right now” you weren’t light with your words, you didn’t think twice before hitting him in his weakest spots in that sneaky way.
you were already heading towards the door of your room, the room he was supposed to leave in a fucking short time, while you waved goodbye. “keep cryin”

Through the Darkness (Harry Styles one shot)
This topic is incredibly important to me. If you or someone you know is struggling with depression, please know you don’t have to go through it alone. Reach out to someone you trust—a friend, a family member, or a professional. You are not alone, and you are loved. There is strength in asking for support, and there are people who want to be there for you. You are never alone.
Pairing: Harry Styles x Female Reader
Word Count: 5.1k
Triggers: Depression, anxiety, emotional distress, mentions of isolation, self-doubt, and heavy themes of mental health struggles. Please read with care.
The world outside your apartment window was cold and colorless, mirroring the ache in your chest. Days blurred into nights, the sun rising and setting without your notice. It had been weeks since you last stepped outside for more than a grocery run. Even then, the strain of smiling at the cashier left you drained for days.
The depression you thought you’d left behind had returned, a familiar weight pressing against your chest, heavy and relentless. It was worse this time because it felt like failure. You’d been doing so well—hadn’t you? Harry had told you how proud he was. Your friends had said you seemed lighter. And now, here you were again, feeling like a burden to everyone you loved.
Harry was away on tour, as he always was this time of year. The texts and calls were there, of course. But you hadn’t told him. You couldn’t. His life was busy, full of flashing lights and cheering crowds, and you couldn’t bear to drag him into the shadows with you. He didn’t need that—not when he was living his dream.
So you suffered in silence, telling yourself you’d find your way out. Except, you didn’t.
Your best friend, Emily, was the first to notice. She’d stopped by unexpectedly, armed with a smile and coffee. You hadn’t answered her texts for days, and she’d decided to check in. When you opened the door, she froze, her face dropping.
“Hey…” she said softly, stepping inside without waiting for an invitation. “What’s going on, babe?”
You didn’t have the energy to lie.
Emily took one look at the unwashed dishes, the unopened curtains, and the dark circles under your eyes and immediately understood. She’d seen this before.
“Oh, love,” she murmured, pulling you into a hug. The warmth of her arms broke something inside you, and the tears you’d been holding back spilled over.
Emily didn’t leave that night. She made you tea, coaxed you into eating something, and stayed until you fell asleep. The next morning, she tried to talk to you about reaching out to Harry.
“He’ll want to know,” she said gently. “He loves you. You know he’d drop everything.”
But you shook your head. “I don’t want to ruin his tour. He’s happy.”
Emily sighed but didn’t push. Instead, when you weren’t looking, she sent Harry a message herself:
Hey, I know you’re busy, but she’s struggling again. She didn’t want me to tell you, but I think you should know. Call me when you can.
Harry didn’t see the text until hours later. His phone had been in the dressing room while he performed to a sold-out crowd. When the show ended and he finally unlocked it, Emily’s message was waiting.
He read it twice before his heart sank.
————————
Harry’s decision to leave wasn’t even a question. His team tried to reason with him, suggesting he finish the next two shows before taking a break, but he shook his head.
“No,” he said firmly. “She needs me. She’s more important than any of this.”
————————
The sound of a key in the lock woke you from a restless sleep. You sat up, your heart pounding as the door creaked open. When Harry’s familiar figure appeared, relief and guilt warred inside you.
“Harry?” Your voice cracked.
He didn’t say anything at first, just crossed the room in a few strides and pulled you into his arms. His chest rose and fell against yours, and you realized he was trembling.
“I’m here, love,” he whispered into your hair. “I’m here.”
You didn’t mean to cry, but his presence—his warmth, his steady heartbeat—was the comfort you hadn’t known you needed.
Harry didn’t try to fix you. He knew better than that. Instead, he stayed close, quietly reminding you of his love in the small ways that mattered most.
He opened the curtains one morning and sat with you on the couch, not saying a word as you watched the sunlight pour in.
He ran a bath for you, adding your favorite lavender oil, and sat outside the door in case you needed him.
He cooked meals you didn’t have the energy to eat but never made you feel guilty for it.
On the hardest days, when leaving the bed felt impossible, he stayed with you, holding your hand as if anchoring you to the world.
“I’m not going anywhere,” he told you one night, his voice steady. “Whatever you need, whenever you need it—I’m here.”
Slowly, the darkness began to lift. Harry’s patience, his unwavering support, created space for you to breathe again. He reminded you of the things you loved—the music you used to listen to, the books you hadn’t touched in months, the way your laughter used to fill the room.
It wasn’t easy, and there were setbacks. But with Harry by your side, you began to believe that maybe, just maybe, you’d be okay.
One afternoon, as you sat together on the couch, you looked at him and whispered, “Thank you.”
“For what?” he asked, his green eyes soft.
“For loving me. For staying.”
Harry smiled, pressing a kiss to your forehead. “Always.”
And in that moment, you knew it was true.

You’re my heart, my home
Summary: When a girl joins Mason’s friend group and begins vying for his attention, his girlfriend feels sidelined in their relationship. After a painful fallout, Mason realizes his mistakes and tries to fight for his relationship.
Reader x Mason Mount
Genre: fluff/angst
Being with Mason for the last two years has been nothing short of a dream.
Sure, we had our ups and downs, but we always found our way back to each other.
He’s the clingy, romantic type, always finding a way to hold my hand, cuddle me, or just sit close.
I loved that about him, even when his friends teased him for being so attached.
Their jokes didn’t bother him, though. He’d just laugh it off and kiss me on the forehead, completely unapologetic.
Tonight, we were out at a party with his group of friends.
Everyone was in high spirits, including me.
It was one of those rare nights where I wasn’t buried in work, and Mason wasn’t tied up with training.
The atmosphere was lively, and I was having a blast mingling with the other girls while Mason hung out with the guys.
But then, I noticed her.
A girl I didn’t recognize was lingering around Mason’s group. She wasn’t one of the girlfriends, that much was obvious.
She was beautiful, sure, but there was something about the way she hovered near Mason that made my stomach twist.
I leaned over to Sarah, one of the girlfriends I’d become close with, and whispered, “Hey, do you know who that girl is?”
Sarah frowned, glancing in the direction I was looking.
“No clue. But if I were you, I’d keep an eye on her. Something about her screams trouble.”
I nodded, silently agreeing. The rest of the evening, I couldn’t help but notice how she kept talking to Mason or pulling him along somewhere.
He didn’t seem to mind, he was always polite to a fault, but it didn’t sit right with me.
Hours passed, and I hadn’t seen much of Mason. It was unusual; normally, he’d stick to me like glue at these kinds of events.
Finally, I saw him weaving through the crowd toward me, his familiar grin lighting up his face.
“There you are,” he said, wrapping his arms around me.
“I’ve missed you.”
I smiled, leaning into his embrace.
“I thought you forgot about me.”
“Never,” he murmured, pressing a kiss to my forehead.
We stood there for a moment, just enjoying each other’s presence, before the girl appeared again.
She didn’t even acknowledge me at first, her focus entirely on Mason.
“Oh, Mason! There you are,” she said, her tone dripping with sweetness that made my skin crawl.
Mason, ever polite, introduced us. “This is Y/N, my girlfriend.”
Her eyes flickered with something, was it disdain? Jealousy? Before she forced a smile.
“Nice to meet you.”
“You too,” I replied, though I didn’t mean it.
She didn’t waste time pulling Mason away again, leaving me standing there alone.
I tried to brush it off, but the knot in my stomach tightened.
Later that night,
The sound of laughter and the soft hum of music filled the air as the party began to wind down.
I had spent most of the night with the girlfriends of Mason’s friends, chatting and laughing about everything under the sun.
But as the hours ticked by, my mood shifted.
Mason had been absent for most of the evening, floating between his group of friends and, more noticeably, that girl.
I’d caught glimpses of her tugging on his arm, whispering something to him with a sly smile, and each time, my stomach twisted a little tighter.
By the time Mason finally found me, I was nursing the last sips of a drink I barely tasted.
His smile, that usual bright and boyish grin that I loved so much, faltered the moment he saw my expression.
“Hey, love,” he said softly, his hands sliding around my waist.
“You’ve been hiding from me all night.”
I scoffed, pulling back just enough to meet his gaze.
“Funny, I thought it was the other way around.”
His brow furrowed, confusion etched into his features. “What do you mean?”
I shook my head, not wanting to cause a scene here. “Let’s just go home.”
The car ride was silent at first, the only sound the low hum of the engine as the city lights streaked past the windows.
Mason reached over, his hand finding its usual spot on my thigh, but tonight, it didn’t bring the comfort it usually did.
“What’s wrong?” he asked, breaking the silence.
His voice was gentle but tinged with concern.
I hesitated, my fingers twisting the hem of my dress. Finally, I spoke, my voice quieter than I intended.
“That girl… She’s been clinging to you all night. It didn’t sit right with me.”
His eyes darted from the road to me, genuine surprise flashing across his face.
“Wait, what? I didn’t even notice. She was just… talking. That’s all.”
“That’s not all, Mason,” I said, my voice trembling.
“You didn’t see the way she was looking at you, or the way she kept finding excuses to pull you aside. And you didn’t see the way everyone else was noticing it, too.”
He sighed, running a hand through his hair as he pulled into our driveway.
“Y/N, I swear, I didn’t mean to make you feel this way. She doesn’t mean anything to me, love. I’m sorry if I didn’t realize it sooner.”
His apology was earnest, his eyes searching mine as he reached for my hand.
And though the knot in my chest hadn’t completely unraveled, I nodded, letting him lead me inside.
Mason made it his mission to reassure me that night, wrapping me in his arms and whispering soft apologies until I finally let myself relax against him.
The days seemed to blend into one long, monotonous routine.
My office job had me tethered to my desk for hours on end, the fluorescent lights of my workspace burning into my skin.
The deadlines felt endless, the meetings never-ending.
By the time I dragged myself home each evening, exhaustion was my only companion.
Mason, too, was caught in the whirlwind of his demanding football schedule: training, travel, matches, and media obligations filling his calendar.
Our moments together became fleeting. In the mornings, he would kiss my forehead as I groggily clung to the last few minutes of sleep before facing my own hectic day.
At night, we exchanged tired "goodnights" before collapsing into bed, too drained to have a real conversation.
It was like we were ships passing in the night, brushing past each other but never truly docking.
One Friday evening, I found myself with an unfamiliar luxury: a free night.
No emails to check, no looming deadlines, just peace.
The thought of spending the evening with Mason filled me with excitement.
I hadn’t had a moment to truly connect with him in weeks, and I missed him desperately.
I decided to text him: "Hey, how about a cozy night in? Just us. I’ll cook dinner, and we can watch a movie or something. I miss you. ❤️"
The little "delivered" icon appeared, and I waited.
My mind wandered to the memories of our lazy nights together, how we’d cuddle under a blanket on the couch, my head on his chest while his fingers absentmindedly played with my hair.
I smiled at the thought, hoping tonight could be like that.
When Mason finally walked through the door, I felt a flicker of hope.
His smile was warm and familiar, and he pulled me into his arms without hesitation.
“Hey, love,” he murmured, pressing a kiss to my temple.
His cologne was comforting, wrapping around me like a favorite blanket.
I leaned into him, letting the weight of my day melt away.
“Hi,” I said softly, savoring the moment before pulling back.
“I was thinking we could have a night in tonight. Just us.”
My voice was light, but the anticipation was evident. “I miss spending time with you.”
For a moment, Mason’s smile faltered.
His hands stilled on my waist as his expression shifted, uncertainty flickering in his eyes.
“I would love that,” he began, his tone apologetic,
“but… I already told the guys I’d meet them tonight.”
The spark of excitement in my chest dimmed, replaced by a sinking feeling.
I swallowed the lump forming in my throat, trying to keep my voice steady.
“And her?” I asked, not needing to say the name aloud.
Mason hesitated, guilt flashing across his face.
“Yeah,” he admitted quietly, “she’ll probably be there.”
I nodded, forcing a smile that didn’t reach my eyes.
“Okay, have fun.”
His brow furrowed slightly as he studied me, but I stepped back before he could say more.
Mason leaned in to kiss my forehead, a gesture that once made me feel safe but now felt hollow.
“Love you,” he said softly before heading upstairs to change.
“Love you, too,” I replied automatically, though my voice lacked conviction.
As soon as he disappeared upstairs, the smile I had been holding crumbled.
I sank onto the couch, staring blankly at the flickering light of the television I hadn’t even realized I turned on.
My chest felt heavy, like a weight I couldn’t lift no matter how hard I tried.
Why couldn’t I shake this feeling? Was I overreacting? Was I being unreasonable?
But deep down, I knew the answer. This wasn’t just about tonight.
It was about the growing distance between us, about the way our once unshakable connection now felt like it was fraying at the edges.
And it was about her, the girl who seemed to have inserted herself into our lives, lingering like an unwelcome guest.
I replayed every interaction I had seen between Mason and her.
The way she laughed too hard at his jokes, the way her hand always seemed to find its way to his arm.
And worst of all, the way Mason didn’t seem to notice, or didn’t seem to mind.
When Mason came back downstairs, his smile was easy, oblivious to the storm raging in my chest.
“Don’t wait up, yeah?” he said, grabbing his keys.
I nodded, my voice failing me, and watched as he walked out the door.
The sound of it closing behind him echoed in the quiet of our home, leaving me alone with my thoughts.
Over the following weeks, the pattern repeated like a cruel cycle I couldn’t escape.
Every time we had a rare opportunity to spend time together, Mason had other plans.
He would promise me he’d be home early or that we’d plan something soon, but it never happened.
And she was always there.
I tried to push my feelings aside, telling myself that Mason loved me and that I was being irrational.
But each time her name came up in conversation or I saw another picture of them together with his friends, the knot in my stomach tightened.
It all came to a head one evening when I found myself sitting alone at the dinner table.
I had made Mason’s favorite meal, hoping for once we could share an evening like we used to.
I even lit candles, trying to recreate the warmth that felt so distant now.
But as the hours ticked by and my phone buzzed with a text:
“Sorry, love. Running late. Don’t wait up.”
I realized I was fooling myself.
When Mason finally came home that night, he found me curled up on the couch, pretending to be asleep.
I couldn’t face him. I couldn’t bear the guilt in his eyes or the empty promises of “I’ll make it up to you.”
The next morning it was the same again, he kissed my forehead and whispered a soft “I love you” before leaving for training.
I whispered it back, but the words felt hollow in my mouth.
The weeks that followed were marked by a growing distance between us.
Mason seemed unaware of the storm brewing inside me, while I became an expert at pretending everything was fine.
But the truth was, I felt like I was losing him, and losing myself in the process.
Every time her name came up, it was like a knife twisting in my chest.
And every time Mason chose to spend time with his friends, and her instead of me, it felt like another crack in the foundation of our relationship.
I wanted to tell him how I felt, to lay everything out and make him understand.
But every time I tried, the words caught in my throat.
What if he didn’t see it the way I did? What if I was the only one who felt this way?
Late at night, as I lay in bed next to him, I would stare at the ceiling, wondering when things had started to change.
And if they could ever go back to the way they were.
It was Sunday, the day I had been looking forward to all week.
My only day off, my sanctuary from the endless grind of work and responsibilities.
I had envisioned a lazy morning spent tangled in the sheets with Mason, the sunlight filtering through the curtains as we sipped coffee in bed.
I wanted a day to pause and just be with him, to feel like we were still us amidst the chaos of our separate lives.
The smell of freshly brewed coffee filled the kitchen as I poured myself a mug.
I smiled to myself, thinking about how I’d surprise Mason with breakfast in bed.
He deserved a break too, after all.
When Mason wandered into the kitchen, his hair still ruffled from sleep, I felt a flicker of hope.
Maybe today would finally be the day we reconnected.
“Morning, love,” he said, leaning in to kiss my cheek.
“Morning,” I replied, warmth spreading through me at the small gesture.
But the moment was fleeting.
As he reached for a glass of water, his next words hit me like a gut punch.
“I’m heading out with the guys later. And yes before you ask, she’s coming too,”
he said casually, as though it were the most natural thing in the world.
I froze, my coffee mug halfway to my lips. For a moment, I thought I must have misheard him.
“What?” I asked, my voice quieter than I intended.
He glanced at me, confused by my reaction.
“I promised the lads I’d meet them for lunch. You know, a group thing.”
“And her?” I pressed, though I already knew the answer.
His hesitation spoke volumes. “Yeah, she’s part of the group now too,”
he admitted, shrugging as if it were no big deal.
The fragile peace I had been clinging to all week shattered.
My chest tightened, the air in the room suddenly feeling too thin.
“Are you serious, Mason?” I asked, my voice trembling.
“You know this is my only day off, and you’re choosing to spend it with her?”
His shoulders sagged, and he let out an exasperated sigh.
“Y/N, not this again.”
The words were a slap to the face. “Yes, this again!”
I snapped, slamming my mug onto the counter so hard I was surprised it didn’t crack.
“Do you even realize how this looks? How it feels to constantly come second to her?”
“Y/N, I don’t want to do this right now,” he said, his tone clipped, frustration evident in every word.
“Well, I do!” I shot back, my voice rising.
Mason ran a hand through his hair, a gesture I knew meant he was trying to keep his temper in check.
“You’re blowing this way out of proportion,” he said, his tone colder now.
I stared at him in disbelief. “Out of proportion? Mason, I have been patient."
"I have been understanding. But this… this is too much. You spend more time with her than you do with me!”
“That’s not true,” he said defensively, his voice rising to match mine.
“Yes, it is! And the worst part is, you don’t even see it. Or you don’t care.”
“I care, Y/N. Of course I care,” he said, his voice softening just enough to make me falter.
But then he shook his head, his frustration bubbling back to the surface.
“But I can’t have this argument every time I go out with my friends. It’s exhausting.”
The words stung, slicing through the fragile thread of hope I had been holding onto.
My heart clenched, tears welling up in my eyes.
“If it’s so exhausting, then why are you still here?” I asked, my voice breaking.
For a moment, the room was silent, the weight of my words hanging heavy in the air.
Mason stared at me, his expression unreadable, before he grabbed his keys off the counter.
“I’m not doing this right now,” he said flatly.
And just like that, he walked out the door, leaving me standing in the kitchen with tears streaming down my face.
The sound of his car starting and pulling away echoed in my ears, each second driving the pain deeper into my chest.
I sank into a chair at the kitchen table, my head in my hands.
The tears came fast and hard, shaking my body as I sobbed into my palms.
All the frustration, the hurt, and the anger I had been holding back for weeks spilled out in that moment.
I couldn’t take it anymore.
The constant tug-of-war for his attention, the way he dismissed my feelings like they were insignificant, it was too much.
I needed space. I needed to breathe.
With trembling hands, I grabbed my phone and called my best friend.
The line barely rang before she picked up, her cheerful voice a sharp contrast to my broken one.
“Y/N? What’s wrong?” she asked immediately, her tone shifting to concern.
I tried to speak, but my words came out in choked sobs.
“He… he left. He walked out,” I managed to say between gasps for air.
“Okay, breathe,” she said firmly, her voice steady and reassuring.
“Start from the beginning. What happened?”
As I recounted the argument, her silence on the other end of the line felt like a lifeline, her presence grounding me even through the phone.
When I finished, she let out a long sigh.
“Pack a bag and come over,” she said without hesitation.
“You don’t need to be alone right now.”
I nodded, even though she couldn’t see me, and wiped my tears with the sleeve of my sweater.
“Okay,” I whispered.
I packed an overnight bag with shaking hands, throwing in random items of clothing and my toothbrush.
As I zipped it up, I glanced around the bedroom Mason and I shared, the weight of the memories threatening to pull me under.
The bed where we used to stay up talking for hours now felt like a stranger’s, the space between us too vast to cross.
My best friend greeted me at the door with open arms, pulling me into a tight hug.
I broke down again, the dam I had been trying so hard to hold together finally bursting.
She didn’t say anything at first, just held me as I cried into her shoulder.
When I finally pulled back, she led me to the couch and handed me a mug of tea.
“You don’t have to talk if you don’t want to,” she said gently. “But I’m here.”
I nodded, my throat too tight to speak.
As I sat there, sipping the tea and feeling the warmth seep into my hands, I realized how much I needed this.
Someone who understood, who wouldn’t dismiss my feelings or tell me I was overreacting.
Over the next hour, I poured my heart out to her.
I told her about the weeks of feeling like I was being pushed aside, about the constant presence of her in our lives, and about the crushing loneliness that had taken root in my chest.
“Y/N, you deserve better than this,” she said firmly when I finished.
“He loves you, I’m sure of that, but he’s not treating you the way you deserve to be treated. He needs to wake up and realize what he’s risking.”
Her words hit me hard, but they also gave me a flicker of strength. Maybe she was right.
Maybe Mason needed to see what it felt like to lose me, to truly lose me, to understand how much he was hurting me.
For the first time in weeks, I felt a sense of clarity, even if it was wrapped in pain.
I wasn’t sure what would happen next, but I knew I couldn’t keep pretending everything was okay.
Something had to change.
Meanwhile at the party,
The party buzzed with energy, laughter and chatter echoing through the air as people mingled in small groups.
Normally, Mason would have been at ease here, relaxed and in his element, but tonight, everything felt off.
His friends noticed it too. Ben nudged him with a grin, trying to lighten the mood.
“You alright, mate? You’ve been staring at your drink like it owes you money.”
Mason forced a chuckle, but it was hollow. “Yeah, just tired, I guess.”
Ben raised an eyebrow but didn’t push.
“Well, if you need a break from all this, let me know. I’ve got your back.”
Mason nodded, appreciating the sentiment, but his mind wasn’t on the party or even on his friends.
The argument replayed in his head like a broken record, your words cutting deeper each time he thought of them.
“Do you even realize how this looks? How it feels to constantly come second to her?”
The memory twisted in his chest, a sharp pang of regret piercing through him.
He had brushed off your concerns so many times, dismissing them as overreactions.
Now, standing in the middle of the room surrounded by people, he felt the weight of those choices crushing down on him.
And then there she was. The girl.
She approached him with her usual confident stride, her smile wide and her eyes locked on his.
Mason tensed instinctively.
He had hoped to avoid her tonight, to stick with his friends and steer clear of any more trouble, but she seemed to have other plans.
“You’ve been quiet tonight,”
she said, her voice light and teasing as she leaned in closer than necessary.
“Yeah, just tired,” he said curtly, taking a deliberate step back.
She didn’t seem to notice, or maybe she didn’t care.
Instead, she placed a hand on his arm, her touch lingering just a second too long.
“Come on, Mason. Loosen up a bit. You’re the life of the party, remember?”
Mason forced a smile, but it didn’t reach his eyes. “I’m good, thanks.”
But she wasn’t deterred.
Throughout the night, she kept finding excuses to be near him, brushing past him to grab a drink, laughing a little too loudly at his jokes, and slipping into conversations uninvited.
His friends started giving him knowing looks, some playful, others more pointed, as if they could sense the awkward tension building around him.
Finally, she cornered him near the back patio, away from the crowd.
Her voice was soft, almost coaxing.
“Mason, I think you know how I feel about you.”
His stomach churned.
He stepped back, creating distance between them.
“What are you talking about?” he asked, though he already knew.
She smiled, tilting her head as if to feign innocence.
“Come on, Mason. We have chemistry. You can’t deny that.”
“I have a girlfriend and you know that,” he said firmly, his voice sharp.
“She doesn’t have to know,” she said, her tone light but laced with something darker.
Mason’s jaw tightened, anger surging through him.
He couldn’t believe the audacity of her words, the way she dismissed me so casually, as if I were some obstacle to be brushed aside.
“Are you serious right now?” he snapped, his voice rising.
“You’ve known about Y/N this entire time, and you think this is okay? Do you have any idea how wrong this is?”
Her smile faltered, replaced by a flicker of annoyance.
“Mason, you’re overreacting—”
“Overreacting?” he cut her off, his tone ice-cold.
“No. I’m done. Stay away from me, and stay away from her.”
Without waiting for a response, Mason turned and stormed back into the house.
His heart was pounding, adrenaline coursing through him as he grabbed his jacket and left the party without a word to anyone.
The drive home was silent, save for the low hum of the engine.
Mason gripped the steering wheel tightly, his knuckles white.
The encounter played on a loop in his mind, each word she had said making his skin crawl.
But more than that, your voice echoed in his head, soft and broken from the argument.
He had been so blind, so wrapped up in trying to keep the peace and avoid confrontation, that he hadn’t seen the damage he was doing.
Every time he dismissed your concerns, every time he prioritized someone else over you, he had chipped away at the foundation of your relationship.
By the time he pulled into the driveway, his chest ached with guilt.
The house was dark and quiet when he stepped inside, a stark contrast to the vibrant energy of the party.
The emptiness felt suffocating, a reminder of the space between the two of you that he had allowed to grow.
He pulled out his phone and dialed your number, his hands trembling slightly as he waited for the call to connect.
It rang and rang, each passing second a punch to the gut, until it went to voicemail.
“Babe, it’s me,” he said, his voice thick with emotion.
“I need to talk to you. Please, just call me back. I’m so sorry.”
When there was no response, he tried again. And again.
Desperation clawed at him with every unanswered call.
Finally, he scrolled to another contact and pressed call.
Your Best Friend.
Your best friend’s voice was sharp and cold when she answered.
“What do you want, Mason?”
“I need to talk to Y/N, I know she's with you.”
he said, his voice pleading.
“Please, I need to apologize. I messed up.”
“She needs space, Mason,” she said firmly.
“You’ve done enough damage already. Leave her alone.”
“But I love her,” he said, his voice breaking. “I can’t lose her.”
There was a long pause, and for a moment, he thought she might relent.
But then she sighed, her tone softening only slightly.
“If you really love her, then give her time. She needs to heal, Mason.
The line went dead, and Mason was left standing alone in the dark living room, his phone dangling limply in his hand.
He sank onto the couch, his head in his hands, as the weight of everything he had done, and everything he had lost, crashed over him like a tidal wave.
For the first time in a long while, Mason Mount felt completely and utterly helpless.
The days without Mason dragged on endlessly, each hour feeling heavier than the last.
I spent most of my time at my best friend’s place, curled up on her couch with a blanket draped over my legs.
The television played softly in the background, but I barely registered the sound.
My mind was stuck in an endless loop of memories, of Mason’s laugh, the warmth of his arms around me, the way he used to look at me as though I were the only person in the world.
But those memories were tainted now, overshadowed by the sting of betrayal.
Every time I thought about how he had prioritized her, a fresh wave of anger and sadness washed over me.
I told myself that I was done, that I deserved better, but the ache in my chest refused to go away.
“You’re overthinking again,” my best friend said, walking into the living room with two mugs of tea.
She set one down in front of me, giving me a pointed look.
I sighed, pulling the blanket tighter around myself.
“How can I not? I feel like I can’t breathe. I want to hate him, but I can’t stop missing him.”
She sat down beside me, her arm draping around my shoulders.
“It’s okay to miss him, Y/N. You loved him. But that doesn’t mean you have to forgive him, at least not until he proves he deserves it.”
Her words were comforting, but they didn’t ease the knot in my stomach.
Nights were the worst.
I’d lie awake staring at the ceiling, every creak of the apartment reminding me of Mason, of the home we’d built together, of the life we’d shared.
While you were struggling to keep yourself afloat, Mason was falling apart.
His usually confident demeanor had crumbled, leaving him a shadow of the man his friends knew.
At training sessions, he was slow to react, his passes off-target, and his energy nonexistent.
“Again!” the coach barked during one drill, his voice sharp with frustration.
Mason barely heard him, his mind somewhere else entirely.
When he finally collapsed onto the sidelines after a particularly grueling run, he dropped his head into his hands, breathing heavily.
“Mason, a word,” the coach called, motioning him over.
Dragging himself to his feet, Mason trudged over, avoiding his teammate's concerned glances.
“What’s going on with you?” the coach asked, his tone softer now.
“You’re not yourself.”
Mason shook his head, unable to meet his coach’s gaze. “It’s… personal.”
The coach sighed, patting him on the shoulder.
“Sort it out, Mount. You’re too good to let this drag you down.”
After practice, Højlund cornered Mason in the locker room, his expression serious.
“Mate, this has to stop. You’re a wreck, and everyone can see it. What’s going on?”
Mason sank onto the bench, rubbing his face with both hands.
“I messed up, Rasmus ,” he admitted, his voice hoarse.
“I hurt Y/N, and now I might’ve lost her for good.”
Rasmus sat down beside him, frowning.
Rasmus has been one of Mason's closest friends on the team and that's how he got to know you.
He quickly grew a friendly connection with you.
“What did you do?”
Mason hesitated before spilling everything, the other girl, the countless times he’d brushed off Y/N’s feelings, the moment he realized just how much damage he’d done.
Rasmus listened intently, his frown deepening.
“So, what are you going to do about it?”
“I’ve been trying to call her,”
Mason said, his voice cracking. “She won’t answer. Her best friend won’t even let me near her.”
“And you’re just giving up?” Rasmus asked, his tone challenging.
Mason’s head snapped up.
“Of course not! I love her, Ras. More than anything. But I don’t even know where to start.”
Rasmus patted him on the shoulder.
“You start by showing her. Words won’t mean much right now, Mason. You’ve got to prove it.”
By the end of the week, Mason couldn’t take it anymore.
With a heavy heart and a bag slung over his shoulder, he showed up at your best friend’s doorstep.
He had come every single day, trying to see you, only to be met with the door slammed in his face by your best friend.
Still, he didn’t give up. Each time, he left flowers with heartfelt notes on the doorstep.
He knew it couldn’t undo the hurt he had caused, but to him, it was the least he could do.
The crisp evening air bit at his skin as he shifted nervously from foot to foot, rehearsing what he would say.
When the door finally opened, your best friend stood there, her arms crossed and her expression icy.
“What are you doing here, Mason?”
“I need to see her,” he said, his voice trembling.
“Please. Just five minutes. If she tells me to leave, I will, but I need to talk to her.”
Her eyes narrowed, and for a moment, Mason thought she was going to slam the door in his face.
But then she sighed, stepping aside.
“She’s in the guest room. Down the hallway left.”
Mason nodded, swallowing hard.
“Thank you.”
As he made his way down the hall, every step felt heavier than the last.
His heart pounded in his chest, and his palms were slick with sweat.
When he reached the door, he hesitated for a moment before knocking softly.
Hearing the knock, I looked up, surprised.
My heart skipped a beat when I saw Mason standing in the doorway, his eyes glassy and filled with regret.
“Mason,” I said quietly, my voice a mix of shock and pain.
“Y/N,” he said, stepping inside hesitantly.
He closed the door behind him, leaning against it as if he needed the support.
“I’m sorry,” he began, his voice cracking.
“I’ve been an idiot, and I’ve hurt you in ways I can’t even begin to fathom.”
I didn’t respond, wrapping my arms tighter around my knees as I stared at him.
“I let someone take up space in my life that belongs to you,” he continued, his voice trembling.
“I see that now, and I hate myself for not seeing it sooner. I was so caught up in trying to be polite, in trying to avoid conflict, that I didn’t realize I was pushing you away.”
Tears welled up in my eyes, but I stayed silent, my gaze unwavering.
“I know I don’t deserve your forgiveness,” Mason said, taking a cautious step closer.
“But I can’t lose you, Y/N. I can’t. You’re my everything. I’ll spend every single day proving that to you if you’ll let me.”
His words cracked something inside me, and a tear slipped down my cheek.
“Mason, you really hurt me,” I said, my voice trembling.
“I felt like I didn’t matter to you anymore.”
“You matter more than anything,” he said urgently, dropping to his knees in front of me.
He took my hands in his, his eyes pleading.
“You’re my heart, my home. I’ll never make you feel like this again. I swear it.”
His desperation was palpable, his sincerity undeniable.
But the pain he’d caused me was still fresh.
“What happens the next time someone tries to come between us?” I asked softly, my voice laced with doubt.
“There won’t be a next time,” he vowed.
“I’ve already cut her out of my life. She’s blocked, deleted, gone. No one will ever come before you again.”
For a long moment, I didn’t respond, letting his words sink in.
Finally, I reached out, cupping his face in my hands.
His breath hitched at the gesture, hope flickering in his eyes.
“You have one chance, Mason,” I said firmly.
“Don’t make me regret this.”
“I won’t,” he promised, his voice steady.
When he pulled me into his arms, I felt the weight of his love, his regret, and his determination.
And for the first time in days, I let myself hope.
As we stepped out of the room, Mason still holding my hand like it was his lifeline, my best friend stood in the hallway with her arms crossed.
She raised an eyebrow, clearly unimpressed but not entirely unsupportive.
“So?” she asked, her eyes darting between us.
“I’m going home,” I said softly, glancing up at Mason.
My best friend tilted her head, giving him a long, pointed look.
“You know, Mason, I’ve been Googling ways to hide a body this past week. Just in case.”
Mason’s eyes widened, and he stammered, “W-well, I’m glad it didn’t come to that.”
“Me too,” she said, a wicked grin spreading across her face.
“But the shovel’s still in the trunk. So, tread carefully.”
I groaned, hiding my face in my hands. “Oh my God, stop.”
Mason chuckled nervously, rubbing the back of his neck.
“Noted. I’ll be on my best behavior.”
As we walked out of the apartment, she called after us,
“Remember, Y/N, call me if he even looks at you wrong. I’ll be there in five minutes, shovel and all!”
I laughed at her antics but was grateful for her support and comfort.
Mason opened the car door for me, shaking his head with a grin.
“Your best friend is terrifying.”
“And don’t you forget it,” I teased, sliding into the seat.
Once he was in the driver’s seat, he reached over, lacing his fingers through mine.
“You think she’s serious about the shovel?”
I smirked.
“Dead serious.”
He groaned, laughing despite himself.
“Guess I’ll have to make sure she never needs to use it.”
As we drove away, a lightness settled over us that hadn’t been there in weeks.
It wasn’t perfect yet, but for the first time, I felt like we were on the right track, and I knew, deep down, we’d be okay.

The Last Part Of This Amazing Journey of a Commisson for My Friend @starconstruction Hoped You Like this Ending Mate. Can't Wait to create more amazing Stories with Ya.
Y/n’s eyes fluttered open, the faint light filtering through heavy curtains doing little to illuminate the unfamiliar room. His head throbbed slightly, a dull ache that matched the confusion swirling in his mind. Where am I? He tried to sit up, but a sharp tug at his wrists stopped him cold. The metallic clink of chains filled the air as he yanked against them, panic rising in his chest.
His arms were bound to the bedposts with thick, unyielding cuffs, the kind that left no room for escape. His legs, too, were restrained, though not as tightly. The sheets beneath him were soft, luxurious even, but they offered no comfort. This isn’t my room. This isn’t anywhere I’ve been before. His heart hammered as he struggled against the restraints, the reality of his situation crashing down on him.
The door creaked open, cutting through his frantic thoughts. A silhouette appeared in the doorway, backlit by the brighter light of whatever lay beyond. Her. Gahyeon stepped inside, her heels clicking softly against the hardwood floor. She was dressed in a sleek black-and-white suit, the tailored lines hugging her frame perfectly. Her hair fell in loose waves over her shoulders, and her lips curved into a playful smile as she took in the sight of him.
“Good morning, love,” she purred, her voice dripping with satisfaction. She closed the door behind her with deliberate slowness, the latch clicking shut like a final punctuation mark. “Did you sleep well?”
Y/n strained against the chains again, his breath coming faster. “What the hell is this, Gahyeon? Let me go!”
She tilted her head, feigning innocence as she approached the bed. “Let you go? But we’re just getting started, darling.” She ran a finger along the edge of the mattress, her gaze never leaving his. “I thought it was time for us to… deepen our connection.”
He bared his teeth, his anger momentarily overshadowing his fear. “This isn’t a connection—this is kidnapping! You can’t just—”
“Oh, I can,” she interrupted, her voice hardening. “And I did.” She reached out, her fingers brushing against his cheek. He flinched, trying to pull away, but there was nowhere to go. Her touch was gentle, almost tender, but it sent a chill racing down his spine. “You belong to me now, Y/n. And I intend to make sure you never forget that.”
Her hand trailed down his jawline, her nails scraping lightly against his skin. “Do you remember last night?” she murmured, leaning closer. “How good it felt to let go? To stop fighting and just… surrender?” Her breath was warm against his ear, sending an involuntary shiver through him. “You don’t have to fight anymore. Just let me take care of you.”
“Gahyeon—” he started, but she cut him off with a kiss, her lips pressing against his with a possessiveness that left him breathless. It wasn’t cruel or rough—it was soft, almost chaste, but it carried a weight he couldn’t ignore. When she pulled back, her eyes gleamed with something dark and unrelenting.
“Shh,” she whispered, placing a finger against his lips. “No more talking. No more thinking. Just feel.”
She climbed onto the bed, straddling him with practiced ease. Her hands moved to the buttons of her blazer, unhurried and deliberate. Each button undone revealed more of her pale skin, the creamy expanse of her chest framed by the delicate lace of her bra. Y/n tried to avert his gaze, but she caught his chin, forcing him to look at her.
“See what you do to me?” she said, her voice low and husky. “How much I want you?” She shrugged the blazer off her shoulders, letting it fall to the floor. Then came the blouse, pooling around her waist as she discarded it with a careless toss.
“Gahyeon, stop,” he said, his voice cracking. “Please. This isn’t—”
“Isn’t what?” she interrupted, her tone sharp. “Right? Fair? Moral?” She leaned down, her face inches from his. “Love isn’t about fairness, Y/n. It’s about passion. About obsession.” Her lips brushed against his again, this time lingering longer. “And I am obsessed with you.”
Her hands slid down his chest, trembling slightly as if she could barely contain herself. “You have no idea how long I’ve wanted this. How many nights I’ve lain awake, imagining what it would be like to have you completely at my mercy.” She tugged at the hem of his shirt, lifting it slowly until it bunched under his arms. Her fingertips danced across his bare skin, tracing the lines of his muscles with feather-light touches.
“You’re so beautiful,” she breathed, her voice filled with reverence. “Every part of you. From the way your body responds to me…” Her hand drifted lower, grazing the waistband of his pants. “To the way your breath hitches when I touch you like this.”
Y/n’s hips jerked involuntarily, a traitorous reaction that made his stomach churn. Gahyeon noticed, of course, and her smile widened. “See? Even now, your body knows the truth. It knows who it belongs to.”
She unfastened his pants with excruciating slowness, each movement calculated to draw out the tension. When she finally freed him, her breath caught. “Perfect,” she murmured, her fingers wrapping around him with a firmness that made him gasp. “Absolutely perfect.”
He squeezed his eyes shut, humiliation warring with the undeniable arousal coursing through him. “Gahyeon, please…”
“Please what?” she teased, stroking him with agonizing precision. “Please stop? Or please keep going?” She leaned down, her lips brushing against his ear. “Tell me what you want, Y/n. Tell me, and I’ll give it to you.”
He didn’t answer—he couldn’t. Every fiber of his being screamed at him to fight, to push her away, but his body betrayed him, arching into her touch. She chuckled softly, a sound that was equal parts affectionate and predatory.
“That’s what I thought,” she said, releasing him long enough to shed the rest of her clothes. She knelt over him, her thighs bracketing his hips, and guided him inside her with a slow, deliberate motion
The sun dipped below the horizon, casting a warm golden glow over the private island. The waves lapped gently against the shore, their rhythm like a lullaby to Y/n’s weary mind. He sat on the edge of the bed in the luxurious villa Gahyeon had prepared for him, staring out at the vast expanse of the ocean through the floor-to-ceiling windows. The room was pristine, every detail meticulously curated—soft linens, muted colors, and an overwhelming sense of isolation. It was beautiful, yes, but it was also a gilded cage.
“Do you like it?” Gahyeon’s voice broke the silence, soft yet commanding as always. She stood in the doorway, her silhouette framed by the fading light. Her presence was magnetic, pulling his attention away from the view and back to her. She wore a flowing white dress that clung to her curves, the fabric whispering against her skin as she stepped closer.
Y/n didn’t answer immediately. His gaze lingered on her for a moment before returning to the window. “It’s… quiet,” he said finally, his voice low, almost resigned.
She tilted her head slightly, a small smile playing on her lips. Too quiet for you? she seemed to ask without words. She crossed the room with deliberate grace, the sound of her footsteps muffled by the plush carpet. When she reached him, she placed a hand on his shoulder, her touch both comforting and possessive.
“You’ll get used to it,” she murmured, her fingers trailing down his arm. “This is where we can be together without anyone interfering. No Evergarden, no mafia, no one to pull us apart.”
He turned to look at her, his expression unreadable. There was no anger in his eyes now, no defiance—just a hollow emptiness that made her heart ache in the most peculiar way. She leaned down, pressing a kiss to his forehead, her lips lingering against his skin.
“Tell me what you’re thinking,” she whispered, her breath warm against his ear.
“I’m thinking…” he paused, swallowing hard. “I’m thinking that there’s no escape.”
Her smile widened, though there was something sorrowful in it. “There never was, my love. But that doesn’t have to be a bad thing. I’ll take care of you. I’ll give you everything you could ever want.”
He looked away again, his jaw tightening. “And if what I want is freedom?”
Gahyeon laughed softly, the sound melodic but tinged with something darker. “Oh, Y/n. You think you want freedom, but what you truly crave is control. Even now, even here, you’re fighting yourself. But it doesn’t have to be like that. Let go. Let me take the burden from you.”
Her hand cupped his cheek, forcing him to meet her gaze. Her eyes were intense, filled with a fervor that bordered on madness. “You belong to me,” she said, her voice firm but tender. “And I belong to you. Isn’t that enough?”
He didn’t respond, but his body betrayed him. His shoulders slumped, the tension draining from him as he leaned into her touch. She recognized the shift immediately, her smile softening. “There,” she whispered, brushing her thumb against his lower lip. “That’s better.”
She sank onto the bed beside him, her weight causing the mattress to dip slightly. Her fingers intertwined with his, squeezing gently. “Let me show you how good this can be,” she murmured, leaning in to press a gentle kiss to the corner of his mouth.
He didn’t resist as she guided him to lie back, his head resting against the pillows. She straddled his hips, her dress pooling around them like a cloud. Her hands roamed over his chest, mapping the contours of his body with reverence. “You’re so perfect,” she whispered, her voice thick with adoration. “Every part of you… I’ve dreamed of this for so long.”
Her lips found his neck, kissing and nipping at the sensitive skin. He shivered beneath her, his breath hitching as she moved lower, her teeth grazing his collarbone. “Gahyeon…” he breathed, his voice trembling.
“Shh,” she soothed, her fingers threading through his hair. “Just feel. Don’t think.”
Her hands slid under his shirt, pushing the fabric up until it pooled around his shoulders. She traced the lines of his abdomen, her touch feather-light but electric. When she reached the waistband of his pants, she paused, her eyes locking with his. “Tell me you want this,” she said, her voice a whisper.
He hesitated, his chest rising and falling rapidly. For a moment, it seemed he might refuse, might push her away. But then his resolve crumbled, and he gave her the smallest nod.
A triumphant smile spread across her face as she leaned down to capture his lips in a searing kiss. Her tongue slipped past his lips, exploring his mouth with a hunger that left him breathless. When she pulled back, she pressed her forehead to his, her breath mingling with his. “Good boy,” she purred, her tone dripping with affection.
She made quick work of the rest of his clothes, her movements fluid and unhurried. Her own dress soon joined the pile on the floor, leaving her bare before him. The sight of her made his pulse race, his body responding despite the turmoil in his mind.
She settled over him once more, her thighs bracketing his hips. Her hand trailed down his chest, fingertips dancing over his skin until they reached his length. She wrapped her fingers around him, stroking slowly, teasingly. His hips bucked involuntarily, a low groan escaping his lips.
“You’re so sensitive,” she teased, her thumb swiping over the head of his cock. “So eager.”
“Gahyeon…” he pleaded, his voice breaking.
She smiled, releasing him only to position herself above him. With agonizing slowness, she lowered herself onto him, her body stretching to accommodate his size. A gasp escaped her lips as she took him inch by inch, her nails digging into his chest. Once he was fully sheathed inside her, she paused, letting them both adjust to the sensation.
“Look at me,” she commanded, her voice husky.
His eyes met hers, and for a moment, time seemed to stand still. Then she began to move, her hips rolling in a slow, deliberate rhythm. Her hands braced against his chest as she rode him, her breasts bouncing with each motion. The sounds of their bodies joining echoed in the room, mingling with their ragged breaths.
“This is where you belong,” she moaned, her nails scraping lightly against his skin. “Inside me. With me. Forever.”
Her pace quickened, her movements becoming more urgent. She leaned down, her lips brushing against his as she spoke. “Come for me, Y/n. Let go. Give yourself to me completely.”
Her words broke the last of his resistance. His hands gripped her hips, pulling her down harder against him as he thrust upward. The sensations overwhelmed him, his vision blurring as pleasure coiled deep within him. Gahyeon cried out, her nails digging into his shoulders as she reached her own climax.
When it was over, she collapsed against him, her chest heaving as she struggled to catch her breath. She nuzzled into the crook of his neck, placing a soft kiss against his pulse point. “Thank you,” she whispered, her voice barely audible.
He closed his eyes, exhaustion and relief washing over him. In that moment, he felt something he hadn’t in a long time—peace.
As they lay tangled together, Gahyeon traced patterns on his chest, her touch soothing. “You’ll see,” she murmured, her voice drowsy but content. “This is how it’s meant to be. You and me, together forever.”
He didn’t argue. Instead, he turned his head to look at her, his eyes searching hers. “Promise?” he asked quietly.
Her smile was radiant, filled with a warmth that melted away his doubts. “Always,” she replied, sealing her vow with a kiss
Small Epilogue ;
Years passed. The city lights blurred into a kaleidoscope of memories as Y/n drove, Gahyeon asleep beside him. He glanced at her, a soft smile gracing his lips. Her hair, streaked with silver now, framed her face, peaceful in slumber. He reached out, gently tucking a stray strand behind her ear.
They had built a life together, a life filled with laughter, whispered secrets, and the comforting weight of shared dreams. Their home, once a haven from the storm, was now overflowing with warmth and the echoes of children's laughter.
He remembered the day he had first looked into her eyes, the fear and the hesitant hope. Now, looking at her sleeping face, he knew that fear had long since vanished, replaced by a profound love that anchored his soul.
Gahyeon stirred, her eyes fluttering open. "Where are we going?" she murmured, her voice still thick with sleep.
"To the beach," he replied, his voice a low rumble. "Remember how we always dreamed of a little cottage by the sea?"
A slow smile spread across her face. "I remember," she whispered, reaching for his hand. "And now, look at us."
He squeezed her hand, his gaze fixed on the horizon. The setting sun painted the sky in hues of orange and purple, casting a golden glow on the road ahead. As they drove on, hand in hand, Y/n knew that their journey, filled with love, laughter, and the occasional storm, had just begun.

Where You Belong
Fem!Reader When you move into a house with 8 men for six months, one seems to be do everything he can to make you stay. <pt3 pt4 pt5>
♡🏠︎♂♂♂♂♀♂♂♂♂🏠︎♡🏠︎♂♂♂♂♀♂♂♂♂🏠︎♡
You felt the heat of his breath against your skin, the sensation grounding you in a moment that felt almost too vivid to be real. His hands, warm and steady and calloused, cradled your face with a gentleness that made your heart ache.
The closeness was suffocating in the best way- the way his lips brushed yours, hesitant but deliberate, made you forget about everything else. The way he made you feel was undeniable. It was safe and exhilarating all at once.
The way he touched you felt reverent- like every movement, every graze of his fingertips along your jawline, was a confession. His thumb lingered on the edge of your lower lip, and your breath hitched as he leaned in closer. The world around you faded further into obscurity, leaving only the press of his body against yours and the overwhelming heat between you.
When his lips claimed yours again, it was deeper this time- slow, exploratory, and unhurried, his teeth grazing into your bottom lip gently and leisurely, as if he was savoring every second. Your fingers found their way into his hair, tangling in the damp strands as you pulled him impossibly closer. There was no rush, no urgency, just a steady, all-consuming connection that left you breathless and yearning. His other hand trailed down your side, grounding you, sending a jolt through your veins.
His voice, low and gravelly, murmured your name like a secret meant only for you. It sent a shiver down your spine, and you clung to him, afraid that if you let go, the moment would shatter. The haze around you made it all the more tantalizing, and you wanted to say his name, but it was stuck in your throat. Refusing to crawl its way past the same lips interlocked with his. Then just as it started to form-
BEEP BEEP BEEP! BEEP BEEP BEEP! BEEP BEEP-
You were in your room, tangled in your sheets, the early morning light peeking through the curtains. Your alarm was beeping and you felt dizzy.
What was that dream?
Your chest rose and fell as you tried to catch your breath. It was just a dream, you reminded yourself, though the phantom sensation of whoever you were kissing's touch lingered, trailing goosebumps along your skin.
Pressing a hand to your flushed cheek, you tried to shake the vividness of it from your mind. It was so real… too real. But who was it?
It wasn't my ex...deep down I know...but who else...
The thought followed you as you stumbled out of bed and shuffled toward the kitchen, still trying to piece together the fragments of the dream. You barely had time to orient yourself before you were bombarded.
“Y/N! Morning!” Jisung practically tackled you with a hug, his bright grin melting away the remnants of your sleepy haze.
“Ji, I just woke up,” you groaned, though you couldn’t suppress the small laugh bubbling up as he clung to you like an overexcited puppy, and you leaned in, his embrace becoming something you had quickly gotten familiar with the past month.
“Doesn’t matter! Morning hugs are mandatory!” he declared, finally letting you go. "We made you breakfast since its your late day."
You couldn't help but smile as you sat down at the kitchen island next to Jeongin who for some odd reason looked guilty.
You rose and eyebrown and sniffed the air.
"Jeongin..."
He didn't answer.
"Innie."
Still no answer.
You sighed.
"Yah, Oppa."
The fox eye boy turned to you. "Yes."
"Did you use my shampoo again?"
"Why would you think that?" He asked with a serious face.
"Because it smells like green apples."
"Are you sure you aren't smelling the apple slices on your plate? You eat them so much you could become a green apple."
You stood up to sniff his hair. Not noticing the onslaught of eyes on you.
"Yah, is our baby bread finally making moves?" Chris teased but before he could answer you smacked Jeongin's arm.
"You dingbat! You smell like green apples- that shampoo set cost me fifty dollars! It's hair care repair!" You exclaimed emphasizing each word with a smack.
"Ah! I said I didn't- is that anyway to speak to your elder- AH HYUNG SHE'S CHOKEHOLDING ME-"
You didn't notice as a pair of quiet eyes zoned in on your interaction with the youngest man, as you interacted with anyone in the house.
They’d all welcomed you like family, with the exception of some awkward moments, but soon it just felt like a household of siblings, you being the baby and the girl. And moments like this did nothing but prove that dynamic.
But the adjustment wasn’t without its bumps. On both sides. Some bumps hidden, some more prominent.
Like balancing your own job while trying to navigate their chaotic schedules had left you stretched thin.
Still, moments like these made it worth it.
Felix’s pancakes, Jisung’s endless jokes, the way Hyunjin would teach you to paint on your off time like he was Bob Ross, the way Seungmin would tease you in his quiet, sharp-witted way, and Chris and Changbin treated you as if you were their sister- even the still tense moments you had with Minho it all felt like home in a way you hadn’t expected.
Even if you wish the moments with the latter would become eased.
You overall enjoyed eveerything, from the busy mornings, to the late nights hearing the boys in their makeshift studio, even if it meant you got a few less hours of sleep.
Overall it made you feel like you were getting your life back on track, to be fully on your feet in the next five months.
But things had been going too well for too long, and that afternoon your world began to crumble before it could even truly begin to mend.
The conversation from your boss had been curt, impersonal:
"We’ve decided to move in a different direction. Effective by the end of today, your position has been terminated."
You rreplayed it over and over, hoping you’d misunderstood, but the words didn’t change.
The job you’d fought so hard to keep, the stability you’d clung to, was gone in an instant.
Just like you had lost everything with your boyfriend in an instant, this was like a moment of Deja Vu. Yet somehow the feeling felt even worse than it had when your relationship of years went down the drain.
By the time you got back to the apartment, head filled with negative thoughts as you walked home from the bus stop in drizzling rain, tears were streaming down your face. You’d tried to hold it together, but the weight of it all was too much.
You stood at the doorstep of the front porch, letting it out, not wanting anyone to see you like this. You started to wipe your face, reaching for your key.
You didn’t even realize someone was there until you felt a hand on your shoulder. Turning, you saw Chan, his expression soft with concern.
“Hey, what happened?” he asked gently, crouching slightly to meet your eyes, and setting his umbrella on the porch.
You shook your head, trying to wipe your tears away. But he reached his arms out pulling you into them.
"Its okay. You'll be okay."
The dam broke then, and you poured out everything. How you lost your job today and how it was making you feel. How it made you worried and how you were regretting everything. How you’d been feeling overwhelmed, and now burdened; how you weren’t sure what to do next. Chan listened intently, his presence solid and unwavering as he rubbed your back.
When you finally finished, he gave your shoulders a reassuring squeeze. “We’ve got you,” he said firmly. “Actually, I was going to bring this up soon anyway, but now’s as good a time as any. We could really use someone to help manage our schedules and handle some of the day-to-day stuff. If you’re interested, the job’s yours. No hesitation.”
You blinked at him, the offer catching you completely off guard. “I...”
“Don't even think about saying no. Matter of fact...you start tonight."
"Chris..."
"You’re already part of the family, Y/N-ah. This just makes it official,” he said with a grin, petting your head real quick.
You began to cry again and he pulled you back into his arms until you heard a voice from behind.
"Hyung-ah..." You turned to see Minho and Jisung looking at Chan. They'd visibly just come back from shopping, green apples and your favorite protein powder that Changbin had used up sticking out from the bag Minho was holding.
Chris smiled and went to go help with the bags and you looked at Minho, something unrecognizable flashing through his eyes. Jisung quickly ran up to you, asking about some anime you two were planning on binging later, drawing your attention away from him.
************************************************************************
Later that evening, after dinner, you found yourself sitting at the dining table, looking through a stack of potential venues for the next show the guys were planning. Chan had explained all that you needed to do for now and you were focused on doing your best to not disappoint.
The evening had settled into a calm silence after everyone ate and the boys had scattered around, some relaxing in the living room, others scrolling through their phones. It was easier to focus with the quiet; papers spread out in front of you.
The gig locations were a bit overwhelming, and despite your best efforts to focus, you felt a twinge of uncertainty. But you didn't feel uncertain enough to ask any questions just yet.
Minho approached you quietly, like a cat, his footsteps soft as he stood behind you. His gaze lingered on the papers for a moment, and then he pointed to one with a quick, no-nonsense motion.
He leaned over you and you tensed slightly.
“This one,” he said, his voice low. “It’s small. Good acoustics.”
You looked at the location he indicated, nodding slowly. It made sense now that you thought about it. More of an intimate environment, better for fan interaction. You wanted to ask if there was anything else to take into consideration, but before you could, Minho was already stepping away.
Without another word, he moved towards the kitchen. The sound of dishes clinking softly filled the space as he started cleaning up. It was a simple, quiet moment, but it felt...oddly intimate. You watching him do something so simple. You shook your head and turned back on your work, but your attention kept drifting towards him against your will.
Minho moved around the kitchen with ease, his broad shoulders and strong arms flexing as he scrubbed plates. The way he concentrated, the quiet focus in his actions, made you momentarily forget everything else. He was chewing on a piece of gum as he worked to tidy up, and the movement caught you eye more than anything.
Focus Y/N. You lucked out with this you need to focus...
Then, a soft sound caught your attention, snapping you out of your thoughts. You looked up to see him setting a plate in front of you. On it, a series of apple slices, carefully cut into small, delicate rabbit shapes.
The green apples shimmered under the dim light, their crisp freshness promising a much-needed break.
“You seemed anxious at dinner,” Minho said, his voice almost absent, as though he hadn’t meant to break the silence at all. He turned back toward the kitchen, not looking at you.
You stared at the apples for a moment, feeling the quiet stillness of the room pressing in on you. You picked up a slice, biting into it, the tang of the green apple sharp and sweet.
As you chewed, your eyes lingered on Minho. He was still in the kitchen, but now he was moving with a certain rhythm- something soothing in the way he worked, purpose with every movement. The clink of the dishes, the hum of his focused energy, filled the space between you. Now did it not only feel oddly intimate but oddly comforting.
But at the same time, you noticed the tension in his posture, the subtle furrow of his brow as he wiped down the counter. He seemed lost in thought. There was something in his expression, a flicker of discomfort that you couldn’t quite place.
In the silence, you found yourself wondering what was going on in his mind. What was he thinking?
Minho’s hands paused on the counter for a second, his gaze drifting out the window, his brow still furrowed. You couldn’t read him, but there was something unmistakable in the way he seemed conflicted.
His mind was racing, and he knew it. He couldn’t quite place the odd feeling swirling inside of him.
Part of him was glad you were here, sharing space with him and the others. You were friendly, easygoing, and yet, there was something about you that got under his skin and irked him.
Was he jealous that you were becoming so close to the guys?
Was that it?
Or maybe it was just the awkwardness that had lingered from the first time he’d met you? He wasn’t sure.
But then, something shifted. It was a thought so fleeting, so strange, that it stopped him in his tracks.
When he had seen the apples at the store, he’d thought of you.
And for some reason, that thought unsettled him more than anything else.
“Maybe I’m just being a dick,” he muttered to himself, the words slipping out quietly. He was still scrubbing the countertop, but his mind was somewhere else, tangled in a mess of feelings he couldn’t untangle.
He was distant around you, so much so you seemed to be a little wary around him. But he was only distant because of this odd feeling. He had never been around girls all that much. Moving in with the guys at a rather early age. And he had much rather be in solitude than interact with others.
“Maybe I'm just not used to being around girls,” he thought, but it didn’t sit right. He knew that wasn’t entirely true. It couldn’t that simple.
And then the feeling hit him again- the odd tension, the confusion.
He wanted you around, he realized. He liked having you in the house, even though it irked him.
Maybe it was just the mess of new dynamics.
Maybe it was jealousy because it seemed to spike whenever you were hanging out with one of the guys. They had been his friends first.
So that was the most plausible solution, wasn't it?
Or maybe it was something else. He just couldn’t pinpoint it.
All he knew was there was something about you. Something that made him think about you when he sliced saw green apples, of all things.
Something that made him want to cut those apples into little rabbits, because he had seen you barely touch your plate.
Minho took a deep breath, trying to clear his mind. There was no denying that whatever it was, he couldn’t shake the feeling.
Not now, not with the way you were sitting there, quietly eating the apples he’d prepared for you, as you scribbled something down, quietly bouncing one of your legs.
Is she always that anxious?
He let out a quiet exhale and turned back to the sink.
“I’m definitely overthinking this,” he muttered under his breath.
But...he wasn't exactly opposed to the thought of you being in his head.

‧˚꒰🍷꒱༘‧— WE'LL NEVER LAST SO WHY CAN'T I LET GO OF THIS?
synopsis: loving malleus felt like a dream come true, a beautiful, perfect dream—but what would it be like to wake up and face the reality of returning to your world?
♰ pairings. malleus draconia x gn!reader
♰ genre. fluff to angst (?) idk i think its just full on angst hehe
♰ word count. 1.2k
♰ a/n. oh lookie here another angst!! you can't blame me for writing angst bcus this is all my friends ever request. lowkey (highkey) inspired by laufey's song promise. enjoy reading and lmk your thoughts!
You two weren’t bound to last—your love was a ticking time bomb, and with every passing moment, you felt the weight of the inevitable end pressing down on you. You dreaded the days that followed, each one a reminder that soon, the love you shared would crumble into nothing. You tried so hard to push the thoughts of leaving aside, to immerse yourself fully in the present, but they lingered, persistent and quiet. You knew that leaving would break you, carve wounds so deep in your heart and soul that they might never heal, but you could never walk away—not when he looks at you every time with so much love and adoration—as though you had woven the stars and moon into the night, casting light into a world he saw as nothing but dark and gloomy. And so you gave in, finally accepting the love that he was more than willing to give.
He never thought he’d feel like this, never thought that the day would come where someone would be able to tug at his heart strings—yet he wasn’t upset, quite the contrary rather. For the first time, he felt alive in a way he never had before, the walls he’d built around himself through time finally began to crack. Vulnerability wasn’t something Malleus was used to—but strangely it felt warm, normal, right. When he fell for you, he fell hard, wanting nothing more but to surrender every fragment of his soul to you. Who would have guessed that the great powerful mage would be capable of something so delicate?
Loving Malleus was easy, as did being with him. He was the epitome of a gentleman: greeting you with a gentle kiss on your hand and softly kissing your forehead whenever he bid you goodbye, surprising you with beautiful flowers “just because”, wiping away your tears with the softest touch, and soft whispers of his unwavering devotion. He knew you better than you knew yourself, recognizing your feelings even when you kept to yourself. He doesn’t push you to explain what’s troubling you; instead, he holds you gently, offering a warm embrace that speaks to you in ways words never could. He loved you in every way he knew how to. And he knew that loving you would also mean letting you go.
“Hush now, child of man. It’s going to be okay,” his voice was muffled as he buried his face in your neck, inhaling the scent of you one last time. You felt the warmth of his tears against your skin as his grip tightened, as if he were holding onto the last thread of something beautiful. Your sobs erupted once more, harder this time, your heart breaking as you cried into his chest, his hand gently caressing your hair in a feeble attempt to soothe you. God, you were going to miss him.
“It’s not going to be okay! Wanna stay here with you, just like I promised.” Your voice broke. He then pulls you away from his embrace, his eyes bloodshot, tears staining his face. He tried to hold a smile, but it was fragile, as if he were breaking inside too—which, he is. Despite all the hurt and pain painting his features, he still looked beautiful, curse him and his gorgeous face.
He anticipated this, but that doesn’t make it hurt any less. “I know,” he whispered, voice trembling. “I know, but sometimes promises... are not meant to last. And it hurts me greatly, my love.” His hand brushed your cheek, his touch soft and gentle. "But I can’t do anything to change things, I wish I could, but I can't... not this time."
“I don’t want to lose you,” you whispered, your heart breaking at the thought of never feeling his warmth again, never having late-night walks with him again, never hearing the corny jokes he pulled just to make you laugh, never hearing his voice again, never seeing him again. “I don’t want to forget you, Tsunotaro…”
His expression softened, but it didn’t stop the tears that slipped from his eyes. He stroked your face gently, trying to memorize the feeling of you. “You won’t forget me,” he said, but his voice trembled, betraying his own doubt. “I’ll always be a part of you, even when I’m not there, because a piece of me will always live within you, just as a part of you resides in me, forever intertwined. In every step you take, in every laugh you share, in the quiet moments when you think of me. I’ll live in those.”
The thing with love is that it breaks you as much as it heals you, and though you don’t regret being with Malleus, you regret not having enough time with him. There was never enough time to keep loving each other as you longed to, never enough time to bare your heart completely, never enough time to love him with all the depth your heart had to give before the world demanded you let go.
You connected your forehead with his, feeling him once more. Tsunotaro’s face twisted with pain, his own tears mixing with yours. “I want to be with you as well, maybe even more than you do, but we can’t twist fate, my dove. You belong in that world, and I belong here.” he says, and you don’t know if he’s convincing you or himself, maybe the latter.
You knew deep down that his absence would create a void that nothing could fill, and you couldn’t shake the fear that in the end, the memory of him would start to fade, piece by piece. “I’ll miss you, Tsunotaro, so damn much.” you whispered, your voice shaky, the weight of your words heavier than you had ever known.
“I will too, child of man.” he responded, his voice low, thick with the same sorrow that gripped your heart—and he kissed you. A kiss that was filled with sorrow, yet so much love. A kiss that would forever be engraved in your memory. A kiss that he made sure you will never forget. A kiss that you knew would be the last. As he pulled away, his arms wrapped around your waist, holding you close, his gaze tender, but filled with an undeniable weight. You could see the love in his eyes, but there was also the painful understanding that this was it—this was the end. The end of something beautiful, something irreplaceable.
You reluctantly pulled away from him, the pain of doing so almost unbearable, and started making your way toward the mirror that would lead you back home. Before stepping through, you glanced back at him. “I promise to visit when the time comes. Make sure you don’t fall in love with someone else while I’m gone okay? Or else I’d kill you myself.” you joke, as he chuckles in response.
“I wouldn’t even dream of being with someone other than you, I’ll be awaiting your arrival, no matter how long it takes.” You turned your gaze forward, fearing that when you looked at him for much longer, you’d run back into his arms and refuse to leave.
“I love you, Malleus.” you whispered, just before stepping into the mirror, knowing you were leaving a piece of yourself behind.
“I love you too Y/N.” he answers back but you didn’t even hear him, because you were already gone, taking his heart with you.
When you turned around, the mirror had vanished, and so had he. A strange sense of relief washed over you, being back, but deep down, you knew this wasn’t truly your home. Because home wasn’t a place—it was a person. It was your Tsunotaro. It was Malleus.

Jinx's appearance in s2 ep9 is a tragedy for her character. The writing throughout the season already tried its best to destroy absolutely everything meaningful to her and who she is at her core, and now we get the chance to see it visually.
I'll get this out of the way so nobody bothers me about it later: yes, I personally hate the design overall. But despite that if it was truthful to her character and reflected her journey well I wouldn't even squeak. Well, maybe one tiny time, but not make a whole post about it.
Alright, so right now I'm going to lign up all 3 of her designs and compare them in a sense how they represent Jinx as a character. I apologize for using The Wild Rift model because it's actual hell to find her s2 ep9 look in good quality and with a good view of the details.
There's a pretty stark difference between Powder and Jinx. The only element they share is gloves, but on Jinx they are modified and have a different color. There are however also similiar "motifs"(?), like purple stripes on clothes, Jinx's belts are positioned in a way that mirrors Powder's blue...thing on her pants; also Powder has a small braid on the side of her head, as well as golden hairpins, while Jinx has two braids that are waaay longer, but she still has golden elements that support her braids.
Now, the differences. Powder's clothes are layered and are made from different fabrics, covering almost her entire body. This represents that she's a shy, frightly girl with very low self-esteem. Jinx, on the other hand, has waaay more open skin, even to a somewhat inappropriate degree. This shows us that she became confident and doesn't care what others think of her, maybe even to a fault. Her boots in some way resemble jester's shoes, showing us her more light-hearted attitude, especially towards violence.
Also, unlike Powder, who only ever shot from a toy gun and made bombs that didn't work, Jinx is a prodigy bomb maker and a master shooter with (what seems like) a hand-made pistol, and on top of that has an also self-made machine gun. So from all of this we can pick up that this is the same person, but she changed in a huge way, hence why even her name is different.
Now, onto the Jinx we see in s2 ep9. She cut off her braids, colored streaks of her hair, especially on the bang, replaced her pants, top, and belts, made herself a hood, painted over her tattoos with x-es and Ekko's symbols, fused her machine gun with Fishbones, her recently made rocket launcher (ignore the wild rift picture for this part), and completely remade her pistol. The only things that carry over from her previous outfit are gloves, boots (which are now fully laced), her necklace aaaand yeah that's it. Motifs are left the same, except for her hair of course.
Now, I want to talk about a couple of elements in detail. Her hood is made from unknown material, and resembles some kind of monster, rather than a monkey, raven or shark, her previously established symbols. Like someone pointed out, it probably resembles drawings on Isha's helmet.
Also Jinx has pink markings under her eyes, just like Powder from Ekko's vision in season 1 ep7.
The bandages that replace her top are the same ones Vi has.
So, with all of that information, what can we tell about Jinx at the end of her journey? The obvious answer is that she decided to move on, but in what way? Accepting both "Powder" and "Jinx" parts of her? But then why did she paint over her tattoos? Something permanent, that shows how irreversibly she changed over the years, and will never become the same girl again? Moreover, why didn't she make the new tattoos, pink bullets? Yes yes, pink bullets. Both LoL Jinx and even s2 ep9 skin for Jinx in The Wild Rift have pink bullets tattoos, but arcane Jinx doesn't. Why tho? Well, of course, it's our good ol' pal Silco erasure. Because, you see, Jinx killed Silco with her Pow-Pow, and when she shoots with it, the bullets are seen as pink projectiles. So, not only does Jinx figuratively want to "paint over" her past with Silco, she also in no way wants to capture what she did to him and that in the very same night she finally accepted herself as Jinx. Of course we know that s2 writers didn't want to follow up on this decision, but adding a couple of effects onto her model isn't that big of a job. Anyway
Why did she go back to covering her legs entirely? Is she more careful now, orrr perhaps she seeks protection from someone? No. Why does she have paint all over her, and Ekko's symbols in particular? Is she a part of the Firelights now? Even if that's the case, it was never confirmed on screen. Why did she completely change her haircut, only leaving a bang? I guess hair holds the memories or whatever, so to start a new life you shouldn't have any memories of the previous one? Idk. Why did she replace her top with bandages like Vi's, if the last time they saw each other Jinx told Vi to let her go and forget about her? Idk. Why did she fuse Pow-Pow and Fishbones together? Idk.
The only things I more or less don't question are the hood and markings, but then again, I'm not really happy with the fact that we see Jinx in them in her "last" moments either. That's the part of my biggest problem with all of this, actually. It took around 10 years for Jinx to have such a big difference in how she looks, but the latest change happened literally overnight. No matter how you try to explain this, this is objectively terrible writing. In less than one episode the main character of the series drastically changed her appearance in ways that should tell us about a big character development, but we didn't get a chance to see any of it. Not the process, nor the development itself, because Jinx behaves in ep9 the same way she behaves in the rest of s2.
So, what was that all about? I guess they wanted to fill out the quota of a minimum of two outfit changes per season, but it's in no way justified within the show. And that's why this is a tragedy. Jinx went from the most well-written character in the show with incredible design and conflict to the writer's toy which only function is to be sacrificed.
#also. a real missed opportunity to make Jinx's hood from Silco's coat. ofc the design would need to be changed but i personally don't have#any problem with that. but you already knew that lol#arcane critical#jinx arcane#arcane season 2#arcane#i got so tired while writing this post💀💀💀literally took me several hours#but it's probably my last analysis so i guess it's worth it

The entire bizzyboy team x godpoke
wait hold on had to make a whole graph for this
i present the bizzyteam panopticon of romance routes, Godpoke in da middle. biased to headcanons of course as godpoke is a player stand-in after all.
pink heart is for most potential mutual relationship/crush. red heart is infatuation, more of a heavy handed attraction than actual investment. light blue circle is friendly terms. grey zig-zaggy line is for complicated, unsure feelings.
pattypoke, obvious, i think they found eachother at the right point in time, godpoke traveled real far simply for the sake of meeting an idol and ended up becoming part of history, and patty did as well by standing up for herself and finding her voice and identity again, they are sweet like candy to eachother.
alexpoke, i honestly think godpoke tries to flirt with em but alexei is incredibly skittish or straight up doesnt get it, doesnt mean it CANT work, but al would need to come around n not get distracted so much.
vibipoke, ive seen cute stuff with em but i dont really ship em, in fact i think vibi simply cant really vibe romantically with a person of so few words of their own, vib wants megapon, or capo, whoever comes first.
banapoke, this is krerdly deltarune 2 if we believe in ourselves/lh, i honestly like it a lot, its cuteee.
grujapoke?, i think grujaja feels unsure about godpoke and really hasnt opened a lot to people in general to form a coherent relationship at this point in time, also sometimes megapon loud as fuck and he cant take it, godpoke wants to try to be more mindful of their wellbeing to hang out.
capopoke oooohh boy, capo definitely feels Things for godpoke, its mostly about the rivalry going on and being pitted against eachother, but its also the fact that Godpoke doesnt feel that strongly against Capo even after everything, in fact they seem to Actively care, which drives that weird attraction further, Capo is just that guy that loves provoking something just to get manhandled, probably.
Inspekpoke , HOOOH BOY how do i say this its pretty fucking obvious that Inspekta is crazey for the new deputy, immediately wants to pull them in, immediately wants to get weird about it, a lot of it comes from Spek projecting a buncha things at once at em, and thats a problem, i think he sees them as a strictly blank canvas that can be easily swayed by promises and sweet nothings, but to me Godpoke finds it probably a bit cute at the beginning and then it just turns, clingy and uncomfortable towards the end, especially with the passive aggressive behavior and mood swings coming in, too much too quickly. they got a lot to talk about post-canon, lotsa things to be apologizing for.
anyways thanks for coming to my bizzy presentation.

NO ESCAPE — rafe cameron
WARNING : This story contains depictions of emotional harassment, physical and psychological violence, manipulation, explicit threats, obsessive behavior, and a scene involving physical danger and confinement. Reader discretion is advised.
The clock read 10:47 p.m., and the restaurant was deserted. Only the low hum of the refrigerator and the rhythmic sound of the broom as Y/N swept across the floor could be heard. The dim lights in the restaurant reflected her tiredness; it had been a long day, but for her, it was worth it. Working gave her a sense of independence that few understood, especially the Kooks.
She had spent months avoiding everything related to Rafe Cameron. After their breakup, he hadn’t stopped looking for her, insisting on talking to her, but Y/N refused. Her heart still bore the scars of their relationship, and the last thing she needed was for him to show up again.
When she heard the jingle of the bell on the door, she thought that perhaps some clueless customer had walked in. However, when she looked up, her body tensed at the sight of Topper Thornton entering with that mocking smile he always wore.
“Topper?” What are you doing here?” he asked, frowning as he set the broom aside.
“Well, well…” Topper drawled as he looked around in disdain. “So it’s true? Y/N, Rafe Cameron’s ex-girlfriend, working like a pogue.”
She sighed, rolling her eyes tiredly. She had no energy for his comments.
“Because of people with such a withdrawn mentality, the world is the way it is, Topper,” she replied indifferently, turning her back and returning to her task.
Topper let out a dry, sarcastic laugh, crossing his arms.
“And how do you think Rafe would react if he knew his precious Y/N was working here, staying up late by herself?” he asked in a mocking tone, enjoying every word.
Y/N dropped the broom, quickly turning to him. Her face was pale, and her eyes showed genuine fear.
“Topper, please don’t say anything. Really…” she pleaded, feeling a knot in her stomach.
He shrugged, smirking.
“Too late.”
Y/N’s heart skipped a beat when the restaurant door opened again, and there he was: Rafe Cameron, with that smile she knew so well, a mix of mockery and possessiveness. His blue gaze caught her like it always did, but this time she didn’t feel love, only fear.
“What, honey?” Rafe said in a soft but venomous voice. “You didn’t think you could escape me, did you?”
Topper walked past him, patting him on the shoulder before leaving.
“Have a good time, buddy.” And he walked out, leaving Y/N alone with Rafe.
“Topper, don’t go!” she yelled, but the door closed behind him.
Before she could move, she heard the door lock click. Rafe had closed it.
“Rafe, I…” she began, taking a step back.
“Shh,” he interrupted her, slowly approaching. “I’ve been patient, you know? I gave you space. But now, sweetheart, there are no more games.”
Y/N felt the air grow thicker. She was trapped, and for the first time in a long time, she didn’t know how to get out.
“Rafe, please let me go. This doesn’t have to be like this…” she whispered, trying to calm him, though her voice was shaking.
He stopped in front of her, leaning down a little to look her straight in the eyes.
“Let you go?” he repeated, with a crooked smile. “That was never an option, Y/N. It never will be.”
She gulped, knowing that tonight would change everything.
Y/N backed away slowly, trying to stay calm as her eyes desperately searched for something she could use as a defense. The restaurant seemed like a small, cramped place suddenly, every corner a trap.
“What do you want, Rafe?” he asked, his voice barely a whisper.
“I want you. I’ve always wanted you, Y/N. But you decided you could just walk away, didn’t you? Like everything we had was… optional.” His tone was getting deeper, and his eyes were shining with a dangerous mix of obsession and anger.
Rafe took a step closer to her, forcing her back until her back hit the counter. Y/N flinched, her hands shaking as she tried to keep her composure.
“You can’t keep going like this, Rafe. This isn’t right. You need help, someone who—”
“I don’t need help!” he shouted, slamming a closed fist on the counter, causing her to jump slightly. Her face was flushed, and the tension in her jaw made it obvious she was struggling to control her emotions.
Y/N tried to move to the side, but Rafe quickly blocked her, cornering her against the counter. His breathing was heavy, and the air was thick with an implicit threat that made it impossible for her to think clearly.
“All of this…” he said, pointing her up and down. “This pathetic job, these lonely nights. Did you really think you could just walk away from me, live like a pogue, and I would just let you go?”
She couldn’t stop the tears from building up in her eyes, but she wasn’t going to give him the satisfaction of crying in front of him. She straightened her back and looked at him bravely.
“I’d rather do this than be with you, Rafe. I’d rather do anything than be with you again.”
Her words seemed to break something inside him. Her mocking smile disappeared, replaced by an expression of pure rage. Before she could react, Rafe grabbed her wrist tightly, pulling her towards him.
“Don’t talk about me like that, Y/N. I gave you everything. Everything. And you repay me like this.”
“Leave me, Rafe!” she screamed, struggling against his grip, but he was too strong.
Rafe pushed her against the counter harder, his face dangerously close to hers.
“I warned you not to play with me, didn’t I?” he said, his voice low but laced with anger. With his other hand, he slid a lock of hair from her face, a gesture that should have been affectionate, but now felt cold and calculated.
Y/N felt the tears begin to fall, and her fear grew as he pushed her to the ground, pinning her down.
“Rafe, please, this doesn’t have to be like this. Please…” she pleaded, her voice cracking.
But Rafe didn’t seem to be listening. He was lost in his own madness, his eyes shining with an intensity that terrified her.
“If you can’t be mine, Y/N, then you won’t be anyone’s.”
She struggled with all her might, clawing, kicking, screaming, hoping someone would listen. She managed to reach him with a punch to the face, giving him a few seconds to break free and run to the door.
But the lock was still on.
Before she could remove it, she felt Rafe grab her again, throwing her to the ground hard. Her head hit the floor, and the world began to spin as he leaned over her, his breathing erratic and his gaze completely unhinged.
“You can’t escape me, Y/N. You never will.”
At that moment, the lights of a car briefly illuminated the interior of the restaurant, and the headlights stopped right in front of the door. The sound of someone getting out of the vehicle made Rafe pause for a moment, his gaze shifting to the window.
Y/N, though stunned, took advantage of the distraction to scream at the top of her lungs.
“Help! Please, someone, help me!”
The door shook from outside, and a familiar voice called out her name. It was JJ, accompanied by Kie.
“Rafe, get away from her!” JJ screamed, slamming the door hard.
For an instant, Y/N saw the doubt on Rafe’s face, but he didn’t loosen his grip.
“This isn’t over, Y/N,” he whispered with a crooked smile, letting go just before running to the back of the restaurant.
When JJ and Kie finally entered, they found Y/N on the floor, shaking and with tears in her eyes. JJ quickly knelt down beside her, wrapping her in a protective hug.
“It’s over, Y/N. You’re safe now.”
But she knew that wasn’t true. As she felt JJ’s arms around her, she couldn’t stop thinking about Rafe’s last words.
“This isn’t over.”

𝙃𝙚𝙧 (PT 2)
(Ekko X Reader)
❥ cast : ! Ekko and Reader ¡
The days following their argument were long, stretching into what felt like an eternity. Y/N tried to keep her distance, give him time to breathe, but every moment apart only deepened the chasm between them. It wasn’t just Ekko anymore—it was.
It was jinx
Every time she thought about her, Y/N could feel her blood boil, could feel the growing resentment bubbling beneath her skin. It wasn't rational, she knew that. Ekko had said it himself—Jinx wasn't the same person she once was, that she wasn't even the same person anymore.
But it didn't matter. The truth was, Y/N was starting to hate her. She hated the way Jinx still haunted Ekko, the way she lingered in his every thought, in every word he spoke.
She wasn't stupid. She had seen the way Ekko's face softened whenever Jinx was mentioned, the way his voice trembled with guilt and regret. She could feel it—a constant reminder that he wasn't fully hers. Not while Jinx was still there, buried deep inside his heart.
Y/N didn't even want to think about what they had gone through. The loss, the violence, the twisted game Jinx had played on that ship. Every time she closed her eyes, the memory of the Firelights' death toll flashed before her—the way Jinx had obliterated their lives, the way Ekko had carried the weight of that destruction like a curse.
And he had the nerve to say those things to her.
To attack her and not Jinx.
The resentment festered, a dark seed growing in her chest. It twisted the memories of Ekko's smile, his touch, and his promises, turning them into something bitter. Y/N had given so much of herself to him, only to feel like she was always going to be second place. Everything was a lie.
All of it.
The voices that once whispered assurances now screamed in fury.
Why wasn't she enough?
Y/N walked the streets of Zaun, the lights from the neon signs flickering and buzzing around her. The night air felt cold against her skin, her steps were heavy, like each movement took more energy than the last.
She wanted to scream. She wanted to break something, anything, just to feel something other than the ache that seemed to consume her. But all she could do was walk, lost in her own thoughts, drifting through the world without really being a part of it.
The Last Drop was always there when she needed it. The familiar clink of glasses, the low hum of conversation, the smoky air—it all felt like a distant memory of better times, of times when she could forget about the weight of her world.
She wasn't there for fun. She wasn't there to be social. She was there because she needed to disappear, even for just a little while.
She pushed through the door, the warmth of the bar greeting her, a stark contrast to the chill outside. The usual faces were scattered around the dimly lit room...But.
Her eyes immediately landed on the corner booth. There was a man sitting there, Sipping a drink, his posture stiff, his face drawn in frustration. He didn't belong to the usual crowd of drunks and gamblers that populated the bar. There was something different about him—something that made her pause for a second.
She could see the exhaustion in his eyes, the way his fingers gripped his glass as though it was the only thing keeping him grounded. She didn't know why, but she felt...drawn to him.
With a deep breath, Y/N made her way to the bar, ordering something strong to quiet the storm inside her. But she couldn't stop glancing toward the man in the corner. His energy was familiar in some way, she wasn't sure what possessed her, but she found herself walking over to his booth—taking the seat across from him without asking.
He didn't even look up when she sat down, his gaze fixated on the swirling liquid in his glass.
"You look like you're carrying the weight of the world huh..." Y/N said, her eyes studying him carefully.
The man's eyes flickered briefly toward her before he sighed, rubbing his temple with one hand. "Maybe I am.." he muttered, his voice. "Isn't that how it goes though? You give everything, and it's just...still not enough."
Y/N tilted her head, her heart skipping a beat all of sudden. She had never met this man, but those words hit her like a punch to the gut.
She swallowed hard, fighting the wave of emotion threatening to overtake her. "Ye—yeah..." she replied softly. "You do everything you can for someone, and you still end up feeling like you were never really part of their life. Like they were just passing time until something better came along."
The man turned his gaze toward her then, studying her face with a strange mix of curiosity and recognition. "Sounds like you know exactly what I'm talking about, huh..." he said, his voice softer now, the walls around him crumbling just a little bit.
Y/N forced a small, humorless laugh. "Yeah, well... I guess I know the feeling all too well. Thought I was helping someone, thought I was worth something to them. Turns out, I was just the backup. The second choice."
The man's eyes softened, and for a moment, Y/N could see the pain in them, the weariness that matched her own. He leaned back in his seat, his fingers tracing the rim of his glass, lost in thought.
"You ever wonder if you're the one who's wrong? Like...maybe you're the one who's been selfish this whole time, thinking you were the one who should be chosen?"
Y/N stiffened at the question. "What do you mean by that?"
"I mean...." he continued, his gaze steady on her, "....maybe they had their reasons. Maybe you weren't the one they were supposed to be with. Maybe they had their own battles, their own reasons for making the choices they did."
Y/N clenched her jaw, the anger rising again.
"It doesn't matter. They chose someone else, and that's all that matters. I gave everything to them, and that still wasn't enough."
The man studied her carefully, his brow furrowed. "You're angry because you didn't get what you wanted....But sometimes, what you want isn't the best thing for you. Sometimes, letting go...is the only thing that can set you free."
Y/N stared at him for a long moment, the weight of his words sinking in. There was a truth in them—one that was hard to face, but so impossible to ignore. She had been so consumed with wanting Ekko, with trying to prove that she was the one who mattered, that she hadn't stopped to think about what was best for her.
"Maybe..." she muttered, her voice distant now, lost in the realization. "Maybe you're right. Maybe I need to let go."
The man offered her a small, understanding smile. "I know It's never easy, but sometimes...holding on to something that's already gone only makes it harder to move forward. You can't keep fighting for someone who's not fighting for you."
Y/N looked down at her drink, the truth settling heavily in her chest. She didn't want to admit it, but she knew.
he was right.
"Guess we're both just in the same boat right now huh?" she said, her voice softer now.
He chuckled, a quiet, dry laugh."Yeah. I guess we are."
For a moment, the two of them sat in silence, each lost in their own thoughts, but there was an unspoken understanding between them. A shared pain, a shared loss, and perhaps, a glimmer of hope that they might both find a way to heal. The quiet was heavy, yet somehow comfortable, as though their presence alone was enough to ease the weight of the world for just a while.
The man sitting across from her had a quiet kind of beauty, the kind that spoke of sadness but also strength. His face was striking, with chiseled features that seemed sculpted by time and hardship. High cheekbones, a sharp jawline, and full lips that had a softness to them, as if the weight of the world hadn't completely hardened him. His dark brown eyes held so much depth, a sadness that she could relate to, yet there was a quiet warmth in them, as though he carried his own story and understood hers without needing to ask.
His skin, a rich hue of warm caramel, seemed to glow faintly under the dim light of the room, and his hair was dark and unruly, falling just above his eyebrows in waves. There was something about him—something raw and real—that made it impossible to look away.
"You know." he said quietly, looking at her with those intense eyes. "Healing... healing is possible." His voice was steady, a gentle reassurance that seemed to cut through the fog of her own doubts.
"You're stronger than you think. You've been through more than most people ever will, and you're still here. That means something."
Y/N swallowed, feeling a weight lift in her chest at his words. There was something about the way he looked at her, as if he truly saw her, not just the surface but the person beneath the layers of hurt. It made her feel... lighter, in a way. It made her feel like she wasn't as alone as she had thought.
But as quickly as it had begun, the moment seemed to come to an end. He stood slowly, his movements deliberate but soft, like he was giving her space to breathe. "I should head out now...it's getting late." he said, his voice gentle. "I'm Levi, by the way. It was really good talking to you...I hope... I hope you find peace."
Y/N nodded, her heart stirring with sadness.
"I'm Y/N." she whispered, her voice a little stronger than she had expected. "Thank you, Levi. For everything...really."
Levi offered her one last smile, a sad but sincere one, before turning to leave.
Y/N was left sitting there, the weight of the moment settling on her chest. She didn't know what it was about Levi or why their brief exchange had felt so significant. But as she sat there, she realized something—something small but important.
Healing.
Y/N stormed out of the Last Drop, her mind now a whirlwind of frustration, confusion, and anger. The conversation with Levi, though brief, had rattled her in ways she wasn't prepared for. His words echoed in her mind, a reminder of the things she wasn't ready to hear. Things about moving on, about not letting the past define her.
But how could she let go when every step forward felt like a push to forget everything she'd ever cared about?
She needed to release the pressure building in her chest—the tightness in her throat, the weight pressing down on her heart. She needed to stop pretending that everything was okay.
As she walked, her steps quickening with each passing second, her thoughts turned darker. She wasn't just angry at the world, at the people who kept letting her down.
No, the anger had a target, a name.
Ekko.
It was his fault she felt so torn. He had pulled her in, made her believe that there was something more between them, something worth fighting for.
But then there was Jinx—always in the back of his mind, always there, even when she wasn't.
"Why am I always second place?" she muttered to herself, the irritation simmering just below the surface. She walked faster, her fist clenching at her side.
Suddenly, a group of men appeared ahead of her, their figures blurry from the haze of anger and alcohol clouding her mind. They eyed her with a mix of amusement and mockery, clearly seeing her as an easy target.
One of them stepped forward, a grin playing at the corners of his lips.
"What's a girl like you doing out here alone, huh?" one of them sneered. "You look like you could use a little help... or maybe some company?"
Y/N gritted her teeth, her fists clenching at her sides. "Don't touch me..." she mumbled.
She wasn't in the mood for their games, not after everything she had been through.
The man chuckled, clearly unfazed. "What's wrong? Scared?" He took a step closer, reaching out as if to grab her, but she swatted his hand away.
"Don't.." she said again, her voice firmer now, though the slight tremble in her tone betrayed her.
Another man laughed, stepping forward as well. The situation shifted in an instant. The first man lunged toward her, grabbing her by the wrist and yanking her forward, trying to pin her against the wall. The others crowded in, grinning and jeering, as they made a move to steal whatever coins she had on her.
"Let go!" Y/N snarled, swinging her free arm at one of the men, landing a punch across his cheek. The other men stepped back, laughing at her resistance as if it was all some kind of joke.
But her blows weren't enough to stop them. One of the men twisted her arm behind her back, the pain shooting through her body as she struggled against his grip.
Panic surged in her chest, her mind spiraling. She tried to kick out, but another man knocked her to the ground, pinning her there.
The weight of it all came crashing down. Her anger, her sorrow, her fear, her confusion—it all hit her at once, and in that moment, all the walls she had built around herself shattered. Tears streamed down her face as she gasped for air, her body shaking. She had fought so hard to hold herself together, but here she was now, on the dirty ground with these men looming over her, she felt like nothing.
Like everything she had ever done had led to this. To this moment right here.
"Get off me." she sobbed, voice breaking as she cried out for help, but her words fell on deaf ears.
Just as one of the men raised his fist to hit her, the air around her shifted. She felt a shift in the chaos. In an instant, the man was knocked to the side with a force that made her blink.
She didn't know what was happening at first, too disoriented by the rush of adrenaline. But the sound of the hoverboard—the unmistakable hum she had come to associate with reached her ears before she could register anything else.
In a flash, Ekko appeared, taking out the men one by one with ease. His movements were fluid,
calculated—each strike swift and precise. He didn't hesitate, didn't give them a chance to fight back.
The men were on the ground in a matter of seconds, groaning in pain, unable to get up.
Y/N's heart raced, a surge of relief washing over her for just a second. But then, as Ekko slid to a stop in front of her, his boots barely scraping against the pavement, her stomach sank.
He was standing there, breathing heavily, looking at her with that familiar, protective look she had seen so many times before.
"Y/N..." he said, his voice softer than usual, eyes scanning her body for any visible harm.
But before he could even take a step toward her, she shoved him away, her hands pressing against his chest with more force than she intended.
"D-Don't!" she snapped, her voice shaking with anger. She couldn't even bring herself to look him in the eyes. "Don't you dare say it..."
Ekko stumbled back, confusion flashing across his face. "What? I'm just trying to—"
"Trying to what?" she cut him off, her eyes blazing with fury. "Trying to tell me how reckless I am? How I always mess everything up? Just like you did before? You think you're the only one who can handle things? You think I need you to save me every damn time?" Her voice cracked at the end, her anger suddenly giving way to the overwhelming emotions she had been holding back for so long.
Ekko's eyes widened as her words hit him, and for a moment, he couldn't speak. His chest tightened, a heavy weight pressing down on him. He had seen her angry before, but this... this was different. This wasn't just about the fight.
It was everything that had been building up for weeks, everything he had said to her—everything he hadn't said. He'd hurt her more than he realized.
He stepped back, his gaze dropping to the ground.
"I didn't mean to—" His voice faltered, thick with guilt. "Y/N, I—"
"No Ekko.." she snapped, tears welling in her eyes despite the fierce expression on her face. "You don't get how it feels to be the one who's always fucking second. To be the one who's constantly told that I'm not good enough, that I'm a liability....You think I don't know what you really think of me? How you'd rather save her than me." She wiped at her eyes angrily.
Ekko's heart dropped. He knew who she was talking about.
The realization hit him like a wave. All this time, he had been so focused on protecting her, on trying to keep her safe, that he had completely ignored what she needed from him. She didn't need saving. She didn't need his constant worry, his control. She needed him to understand her, to be there for her in the way that mattered, not just when things got bad.
And he had failed her.
His voice was quiet now. "Y/N, I...I never wanted to make you feel like that. I never wanted you to think I cared more about her. It's just—"
"No..." she interrupted, shaking her head violently. "You're so damn obsessed with her, and you can't even see what's right in front of you." Her voice cracked again, but this time, she didn't try to hide it. "I'm right here, Ekko. I'm always here. I always have been."
Ekko stood there, completely frozen, as her words slammed into him. The truth of what he had done to her finally settled in, heavy and suffocating.
The anger, the hurt in her eyes—it all became clear.
He hadn't just been protecting her...he had been holding her back. He had been so caught up in his own fears, in his past, that he had completely disregarded what she truly needed from him.
that realization crushed him more than anything else.
"Y/N...please.." he said, his voice breaking as he took a hesitant step forward. "I... I didn't know. I didn't know how much I was pushing you away. I never meant to make you feel like you were second. You're not. You're never second."
Y/N didn't answer at first. She just stood there, her chest rising and falling rapidly. She was so frustrated and heartbroken, but underneath it all, there was something softer—a part of her that was just as desperate, desperate for him to understand.
I don't want to be a shadow anymore Ekko" she whispered, her voice barely audible now. "I just want to be enough."
The words hit him like a punch to the gut, before he could even process them, she collapsed—her knees giving out beneath her as she crumpled to the ground.
Her body trembled with each sob, her face hidden in her hands as the alcohol and the weight of everything she had been carrying overwhelmed her all at once.
Ekko stood frozen for a moment, his heart in his throat. He didn't know what to do. Didn't know how to fix this, how to make things right. But as he watched her fall apart in front of him, everything he had been holding back came crashing down. This wasn't just about Jinx anymore. This wasn't about him trying to protect her or save her from herself.
This was about him failing her when she needed him the most.
Without thinking, he dropped to his knees beside her, his arms reaching out instinctively. He pulled her close, cradling her against his chest as she cried. She wasn't saying anything now, just letting the tears flow, the weight of everything she had been carrying threatening to crush her completely.
Ekko didn't speak. He didn't say anything at all. He just held her. In complete silence.
His hand brushed over her hair, trying to comfort her in the only way he knew how. "I'm sorry.." he whispered after a while, his voice thick with emotion. "...I'm so sorry Y/N."
Her sobs began to go quiet. She didn't answer at first, still struggling to regain control of her breath, her chest rising and falling in uneven gasps. The weight of everything—the alcohol, the anger, the broken trust—was starting to lift just a little, but the pain was still there.
Deep, raw, and unrelenting.
Ekko held her tighter, unwilling to let go, unwilling to let her face this alone anymore. He knew his words could never fix what had happened. He had failed her, hurt her, and he was going to have to work harder than he ever had before to earn her trust again.
"I never meant to hurt you baby.." he continued, his voice soft but full of regret. "I should've seen it. I should've understood how you felt. I... I don't know what I was thinking. I thought I was protecting you, but I was only pushing you away. And—And I'm so sorry."
There was a slight shift in her posture. She wasn't pulling away, but she wasn't completely letting herself fall into him either. The hurt was still there, and it wasn't going to disappear overnight. It couldn't.
After a long moment of silence, she spoke. "I don't know if I can trust you again" she whispered, the vulnerability in her words cutting through him like a blade. "I just...can't keep doing this."
Ekko's heart sank at the raw honesty in her voice. He knew she was right.
"I know.." he said quietly, his voice barely above a whisper. "I've made you feel like that, and I hate myself for it...So fucking much. But you are enough Y/N. More than enough. And I'll spend every day proving that to you if I have to."
The words hung in the air, but for Y/N, they felt so distant. Something shifted inside her as the weight of Levi's words settled like an anchor in her chest.
You deserve someone who makes you feel like you're the only one.
The sharp clarity of that truth hit her hard, the bitter realization that no matter how hard Ekko tried, no matter how much he cared for her, she was always going to be second place in his heart.
Her gaze flickered away from his, her throat tightening as she struggled to find the right words. She could hear Ekko's voice, soft and sincere, but it couldn't drown out the inner voice that had been growing louder in her mind. The truth she had been avoiding for so long...
Ekko will always have one foot in the past.
She knew, deep down, that he was still tethered to Jinx. No matter how much he tried to prove otherwise, no matter how many promises he made, he could never fully release her. She would always be the first choice in his heart.
That lingering ghost that casted a shadow over everything Y/N dreamed to build with him.
Y/N took a slow, shaky breath. "I—I don't know what to say Ekko."
Ekko's face tightened with concern, his brow furrowing. "What do you mean?"
Y/N shook her head, the tears that had threatened to fall now blurring her vision. "I...I want to believe you. I really fucking do..." she whispered. "I want to believe that you can love me the way I deserve. But I... I can't keep fighting for a place in your heart."
The words felt like a punch to her own chest, but they were the truth.
She had to say them.
Ekko's expression faltered, the guilt and regret washing over him. He opened his mouth to speak, but the words caught in his throat. He wanted to tell her she was wrong, wanted to say that Jinx didn't matter to him anymore, that Y/N was his choice. But he couldn't.
Y/N took a step back, her chest tightening as she wiped away a tear. "I can't keep pretending that it doesn't matter Ekko. I can't keep pretending that I'm enough when you're always looking back at her."
"I'm not—" he started, but Y/N cut him off.
"No.." she said, her voice a little stronger now, though it still trembled. "You can't choose me the way I need you to. And...I—I deserve someone who chooses me, not someone who's always going to have a piece of their heart somewhere else."
Ekko stood there, speechless. He wanted to say something, to make her understand that he never meant to hurt her, that he loved her so much, but the truth was..
she was right.
Y/N could see the pain in his eyes, but it wasn't enough. Not anymore. "I think it's time for me to move on..." she whispered, her voice cracking.
Her words hung heavy in the air, like an unspeakable truth, and Ekko's chest tightening with each syllable she uttered. His mouth opened, but no words came out. It made it impossible for him to respond.
Y/N took a shaky breath, "I've given everything I can to this... to us" she continued, her voice a little steadier now. "But I can't keep sacrificing myself.."
Ekko's heart cracked at the finality in her words. She did deserve better than the half-hearted love he was giving her.
"I'm so sorry Y/N." he murmured, the words feeling empty as they left his mouth, too late, too little.
But Y/N couldn't let herself be swayed by his sorrowful tone anymore. The trust she had placed in him had been shattered over time, and now all that remained was the stark truth of what was.
She took another step back, her shoulders squared, her chin raised high. She wouldn't let him break her again.
"I know.." she whispered, her voice quieter now, the words more for herself than for him. "But knowing doesn't change anything." She paused, taking a deep breath before the words she knew she had to say. "I'm sorry too Ekko. But this is goodbye."
The finality in her voice struck him right then and there. For a moment, he just stared at her, his mind racing, trying to comprehend what she was saying. He didn't know how to make her stay now, everything he had done had already pushed her too far.
Ekko's sudden frustration grew. He moved toward her quickly, grabbing onto her arm with a fierce grip. "No Y/N" he growled, his voice rough. "You can't just—"
But before he could finish, he saw it. The way she stiffened at his touch, not even glancing at him. The realization hit him like a cold wave. She was done. Completely done. She wasn't going to let him hurt her anymore.
His fingers tightened around her arm, almost instinctively, but her cold silence forced him to slowly let go. Every ounce of frustration, and heartbreak he had been holding onto drained out of him in that one moment.
"Please baby..." he whispered hoarsely, his voice cracking as the weight of what he had done sank in. "Please...not like this.."
Y/N didn't respond. She just pulled her arm free and took another step back, distancing herself from him.
Ekko stood there, stuck—feeling like the ground had been pulled out from under him.
it was too late.
Y/N had already made up her mind.
"Goodbye...Ekko..."
With one final look, she turned and walked away from him, the sound of her footsteps echoing in the empty street. And as he watched her leave, he finally understood. This time, he couldn't fix it.
And this time, he wasn't sure if he even deserved to.
She was gone. And it was his fault.
The night air felt cold against his skin, a stark contrast to the heat building in his chest. Every emotion that had once fueled him had been extinguished, replaced by a hollow emptiness that felt like a slow suffocation.
He had pushed her away. He had let his insecurities, his fears about Jinx, and his own selfishness dictate his actions. And now, he was left with nothing but the echo of her words, ringing in his ears.
"I think it's time for me to move on..."
He thought back to everything he had said. He had never given her what she needed, and now, she was gone.
He didn't know how long he stood there, lost in his thoughts, but eventually, the reality of the situation settled in. She wasn't coming back.
He had lost her, and he had no one to blame but himself.
Ekko finally turned away from the spot where she had stood, walking slowly through the streets. The city was as chaotic as ever, but he couldn't bring himself to care. Nothing mattered anymore.
He didn't know what to do next, or how to fix what he had broken. But one thing was clear.
he would never forget her.
He would never forget Y/N.
Y/N found herself lying on the cold ground. She didn't know how she had gotten there, didn't even bother to care anymore. Her body felt numb, her mind in a haze from the alcohol and the emotional wreck that had occurred. She stared up at the sky, trying to steady her breathing, but the weight of everything, the loneliness—pressed down on her chest.
For a moment, she thought she might suffocate under it all.
But then, something shifted next to her. The air around her seemed to change, as if the world was still holding its breath. She turned her head to the side.
And there he was again.
Levi's familiar face appeared beside her, his features soft in the dim green light, his eyes blinking as if he'd just woken up. He was lying next to her, his arm stretched out across the cold ground, looking every bit as confused as she was right now. His dark hair fell messily around his face.
and for a brief second, Y/N felt a strange sense of peace.
Levi blinked a few more times, his confusion slowly giving way to a soft smile as he realized it was her. "Y/N?" he muttered, his voice low and slightly groggy. "What the hell are you doing out here? Did you follow me here?"
Y/N didn't respond immediately. She just kept staring at him, taking in the sight of him as if he were a lifeline thrown her way in the midst of drowning. His presence was a stark contrast to everything she'd just gone through.
Without even thinking, she threw her arms around him. The hug came out of nowhere, and for a moment, Levi froze in place, his breath catching in surprise. But then, slowly, his big strong arms circled around her too. She buried her face in his chest, holding on tightly, as if afraid he might disappear the moment she let go.
Levi, still shocked but now fully awake, whispered into her hair. "Y/N what's going on? Are you okay?"
She shook her head, her voice muffled by his shirt as the tears she hadn't let fall earlier started to come. She couldn't find the words to explain the storm swirling inside her, but the hug was enough to make her feel like she wasn't entirely alone. Not for now. Not in this moment.
"I don't know," she whispered, her voice cracking. "I don't know anymore."
Levi didn't ask any more questions. Instead, he just held her tighter, letting her cry into his chest. The city of Zaun seemed distant, as if the noise of it all had faded away. For now, in his arms, she found something she hadn't realized she needed—comfort. Understanding. And for the first time in a long time, she didn't feel like she was falling apart completely.
As her tears slowed, she pulled back away from him to meet his gaze. There was something in his eyes, something so kind. He was there. And for the first time in a long time, Y/N didn't feel like she was carrying the weight of the world alone.
"I'm so sorry" she whispered again, her voice quieter this time, her eyes searching his face.
Levi gave her a small, almost sad smile. "Don't apologize...We all have our moments. I'm just glad you found me, even if it's in the middle of the damn street."
Y/N chuckled softly, wiping at her eyes. "Yeah, well... wasn't exactly the plan."
Levi tilted his head, a crooked smile playing on his lips. "The best things never are I guess..."
She smiled faintly, the weight on her chest lifting just a little. For the first time in what felt like forever, she didn't feel completely alone. They sat there in comfortable silence, the distant hum of Zaun's chaos fading into the background.
As the minutes stretched, the exhaustion of the day began to settle in. Y/N leaned back against the cold ground, staring up at the patch of stars visible through the smoke-filled air. Levi followed, his arms folding beneath his head as he lay beside her.
"You know..." he said after a moment, "this is probably the strangest way I've ever made a friend."
Y/N turned her head to look at him, a faint laugh escaping her lips. "Friend, huh? Is that what we are now?"
"Would you prefer being enemies now?" Levi replied, chuckling.
She rolled her eyes, but there was a softness to her expression. "Nah, I could use a friend right now."
"Good." he said, his tone light. "Because I could use one too."
They stayed like that, lying side by side under Zaun's polluted sky. Y/N's eyes grew heavy, the day's events finally catching up to her.
"Levi?" she murmured sleepily.
"Hm?"
"Thanks for... being here. Even though we just met today.." she said, her voice barely above a whisper.
"Anytime" he replied softly.
"Get some rest, Y/N. You're safe."
And she really did believe him.
They both drifted off there on the cold ground of Zaun, two broken souls finding solace in each other's company.
It wasn't perfect, and it didn't fix everything, but it was a start.

One year later...
It was late November again, a bitterly cold wind was blowing across the country and the first snow had already fallen. A sight that always made Y/N wistful. She looked out the window across the white fields and icy trees to the horizon, behind which the sun had now almost disappeared. The orange-red light made the snow sparkle. Her mom had loved winter, which made the memories of her death bittersweet.
A lot had happened in the last year and Y/N had often wished she could exchange a few words with her mom, ask her for advice or just hug her. She had been the good soul of her clan and had cared for everyone. A trait that the young woman hoped she had inherited. But there was no way to talk to her anymore and so Y/N had to do a lot of things alone for the first time.
It had often been difficult or even frightening, but Millie had always been by her side and supported her from woman to woman. But not just her. Dean hadn't left her alone anymore either. Although it wasn't always that easy for him too. But each situation had strengthened their relationship more and more.
When Y/N thought of her husband, she couldn't help but smile. She had loved him for so long and her heart almost burst with happiness because Dean had also loved her before. Even if it took him a long time to realize it. And he had tried to explain it to her over and over again. The Alex incident had been followed by many long nights of conversation. Honest, open hours full of feelings and affection. There had been days when she no longer believed that this was even possible.
The door behind her opened and Dean walked in, carrying some firewood under his arm. As soon as he saw his wife standing at the window turning to him with a loving smile, he had to smile too. What kind of year had it been? It had had its ups and downs and often wasn't easy, but they had persevered through everything together.
It had shocked his clan when Dean had shot Alex. Many people didn't understand it at first, but there were enough witnesses on the tower who could confirm the necessity. But it probably hit Cassie the most. In the days that followed, she seemed completely different. She had withdrawn and appeared thoughtful. After about four days, she had sincerely apologized to Y/N and Dean for her behavior and told them that she couldn't stay here any longer.
Y/N had reacted to this with mixed feelings. After all, Cassie hadn't tried to drive her away or kill her. And even though she was offended by her behavior, his wife had shown compassion. In the end, she could understand what it was like to be in love with someone for a long time without those feelings being reciprocated. But Cassie couldn't stay any longer and so they let her go.
"You okay there, my love?" asked Dean as he put more firewood on the fire.
"Yes, yes. It's just this time of year and the snow." Y/N answered and turned back to the window.
Dean stood up again and came over to her. He put his arms around her from behind and looked out into the wintry world with her for a while. He knew that it made her a little melancholy, but that also passed.
"I just prefer summer." she turned around in Dean's arms. "Especially when you're on the high seas."
He had to chuckle at that and hugged his wife a little tighter.
Y/N had accompanied him on many business trips and in May Dean had extended the business trip by three weeks and had taken her to France. Also so that he could show her the stars on the open sea on clear early summer nights.
"We can do that again next year." he replied, which earned him a beaming smile from his wife.
"But you know it won't be as easy as this year, right? After all, we're not alone anymore."
Dean smiled now. "Which probably makes it even nicer." He gave her a quick kiss on the lips and let go of Y/N to go to the second door in the bedroom, which was open a crack and gave a small glimpse into the room behind it.
They had had to switch bedrooms three months ago and had now moved into a larger room because they simply needed the extra space. And they were also closer to Sam and Millie, who had finally gotten married in July and were now overjoyed themselves.
"How is he doing?"
"No! Stop, Dean! You're gonna wake Connor up!" Y/N whispered loudly with a chuckle as she saw how Dean attempted to open the door a little further.
"He'll be fine." He replied, but hesitated for a second before he opened the door a little more.
Y/N came over to him and both looked to the small bed in which their son lied and slept peacefully.
Dean pulled Y/N to his side and she hugged him back. He placed a kiss on her hairline, enjoying the warmth she gave off. The last year had so many firsts for them and sometimes he couldn't believe how happy he was now. Dean looked at Y/N and knew that she was a big part of this and he would do anything to not lose her again.
"He has your eyes." The woman said lovingly.
"And he has your nose." Dean countered with a smile.
"Come on. We should let him sleep as long as he does so calmly and peacefully." Y/N said and turned away from the door again.
Dean did the same. "You're probably right." But his wife couldn't go far before he took her back into his arms. "Actually, I was thinking about something." Dean grinned.
"And what is that?" although Y/N already had an idea.
"I'm sure Connor would like to have a little sister." he wiggled his eyebrows and Y/N laughed. She pressed herself a little tighter against him and looked at him lovingly.
"I'm not sure if it will work that quickly, but we can practice anytime if you want." Now she wiggled her eyebrows and Dean laughed.
"That's sounds like a solid plan to me, sweetheart." Dean agreed and begann to kiss her with all his heart.
A/N: And now we're truly at the end here. I'm a little sad now, tbh. 🥹
It has been such a ride and I wanna thank all of you who have joined me on this. And I want to thank everyone who left me feedback or reblogged my story. I was so overwhelmed with the responses and I felt so blessed. I appreciate you all so much! 💜 And I hope we see us again in february to my new story. 😁

HI! Im just wondering if you do Male readers and if u do. Could you do a Jeongin X Male Fennec Fox hybrid reader where Reader gets attacked by fans and Jeongin helps him
𝒴𝑜𝓊𝓉𝒾𝒻𝓊𝓁
Pairing: Jeongin x M!Reader Genre: Fantasy, Hurt/comfort, angst, fluff, slow burn, hybrid, Idol!Jeongin x Fennec fox hybrid!Reader Warning: discrimination/prejudice, insecurity, mention os saesangs (the STAYs in this story are descibed as toxic)
The sun was setting over the crowded square, painting the sky in soft hues of orange and pink. A small event had just wrapped up, and fans were still lingering around the venue, buzzing with excitement after seeing Stray Kids perform. Among the scattered crowd, Y/N adjusted his hoodie, pulling it low over his head to cover his prominent ears. His fluffy Fennec Fox tail swayed nervously behind him as he weaved through the crowd.
It had been a great performance—Jeongin’s energy on stage was infectious, and Y/N couldn't help but smile, feeling proud of his friend. Or rather… someone he wished was more than a friend.
"Y/N!”
Jeongin's voice cut through the noise, warm and unmistakable. Y/N turned to see the younger boy jogging toward him, his bright smile lighting up the dimming square.
“You stayed until the end,” Jeongin said, slightly out of breath but clearly happy to see him. “I didn't think you'd make it this time.”
Y/N chuckled softly, his ears twitching under the hood. “Of course I did. You were amazing out there, as always.”
Jeongin's face softened. “Thanks. It means a lot coming from you.”
But before their conversation could continue, Y/N noticed the glances from a nearby group of STAYs. At first, it was subtle—whispered words and curious eyes darting toward him. Then the murmurs grew louder, and the group began moving closer.
“Who's that?” one of them said, just loud enough for Y/N to hear.
“Is he close with Jeongin? He looks weird…”
“Are those… ears? Is he some kind of monster?”
Y/N's tail twitched anxiously, his heightened hearing picking up every word. He tried to ignore them, focusing on Jeongin's cheerful chatter, but the voices grew harsher.
“Why's he acting so familiar with Jeongin? What if he’s some saesangs?”
The group was closer now, and Y/N's heart raced as they surrounded him. Jeongin noticed immediately, his smile fading into a look of concern.
“Hey, is something wrong?” Jeongin asked, stepping protectively closer to Y/N.
One of the STAYs scoffed. “Jeongin. Who is this guy? Why is he here?”
“He's my friend,” Jeongin said firmly, his voice colder than Y/N had ever heard it. “What's the problem?”
Another fan sneered. “He's not just a friend, is he? Why would you hang out with a monster like him? He's probably just trying to use you!”
Y/N flinched at the words, his ears flattening under his hood. He tried to back away, but the group closed in further, their words cutting deeper than he wanted to admit.
“Stop,” Jeongin said, his tone sharp now. “You don't know him, and you don't get to talk to him like that.”
The group hesitated, startled by Jeongin's sudden defensiveness.
Y/N tried to step in, his voice shaking. “Innie, it's fine. Let's just go—”
“No, it's not fine,” Jeongin interrupted, his gaze never leaving the fans. “Y/N is one of the kindest, most genuine people I know. And he doesn't deserve this kind of treatment—especially not from my fans.”
The group fell silent, guilt flickering across their faces. Jeongin took Y/N's hand gently and began walking away, his grip firm but comforting.
They didn't stop until they were far from the crowd, standing in a quiet park lit by soft lamplight. Jeongin let out a frustrated sigh, running a hand through his hair.
“I'm sorry,” he said, turning to Y/N. “You shouldn't have to deal with that. I should've stopped it sooner.”
Y/N shook his head, his ears drooping slightly. “It's not your fault. People just… react differently to hybrids.”
Jeongin frowned, his eyes searching Y/N's face. “That doesn't make it okay. You don't deserve to be treated like that. I…” He hesitated, then took a deep breath. “I don't want you to think you have to hide around me.”
Y/N blinked, his tail flicking nervously. “I'm not hiding…”
Jeongin gave him a small, knowing smile. “Then why do you always pull your hood up when we're in public? Why do you tuck your tail away like it's something to be ashamed of?”
Y/N opened his mouth to protest, but no words came out. Jeongin stepped closer, his voice softening.
“I think your ears are amazing. And your tail? It's adorable,” he said, a playful grin tugging at his lips. “It's part of who you are, Y/N. And I wouldn't change a thing about you.”
Y/N felt his face heat up, his ears twitching under the hood. “You… really mean that?”
Jeongin nodded. “Of course I do. You're important to me, Y/N. I don't care what anyone else thinks.”
The words hung in the air, warm and reassuring. Slowly, Y/N pulled back his hood, letting his large ears perk up in the night air. Jeongin's grin widened.
“See? Perfect.”
Y/N couldn't help but laugh softly, the tension in his chest finally easing. “Thanks, Jeongin. For… everything.”
Jeongin smiled, reaching out to gently ruffle Y/N's hair between his ears. “Anytime. Now, let's get you home. But next time, let's skip the drama and just hang out somewhere quiet, okay?”
Y/N nodded, his tail swishing happily behind him as they walked side by side, the world feeling just a little brighter.
