Frequently seen partying at clubs, speeding down the road blaring Ke$ha from her pink convertible, and crying in a bathroom stall while drunk, Kylie is a wild party animal with a violent side to those that cross her. Formally known as one of Brawlston's "High Queens", Kylie was a hitman boss that employed Isabelle and Viv as her top assassins all while using Florist's floral shop as a front. However, this business was disbanded around 2017, after a feud with another crime boss caused Isabelle and Kylie to be severely harmed in an incident, putting Isabelle permanently out of the job and making Kylie rethink her decisions in regard to the safety of her employees, who to some degree, she really did care about. Kylie was an abusive boss and frequently bullied Florist and Isabelle, tho only annoyed Viv as she couldn't bring herself to seriously harm her former friend which she had known even since before she transitioned(Yes, Kylie is trans, tho that's not very important). Isabelle would commonly return the bullying, resulting in her and Kylie having a love-hate relationship where one moment they loved each other like sisters and the next they were at each other's throats. Kylie is loud, obnoxious, and frankly, fucking crazy, not caring about the consequences of the trouble she stirs up as long as it's fun in the moment. Kylie has caused many disputes in the past with other crime bosses, however she usually made Isabelle take the fall for it. This doesn't mean that Kylie was afraid to settle her own issues, if you want something done, do it yourself! Kylie's bright pink glock or circular saw usually seemed to do the trick when settling her conflicts.

Now that Kylie is retired and has let Viv, Isabelle, and Florist live their own lives crime-free, she spends her days doing whatever the fuck she wants with her wealth, partying hard and living her hot pink glittery life to the fullest! She does still come visit Florist's shop sometimes to say hi to her former friends, despite their past with her Kylie acts like she is on completely good terms with everyone, while annoying as fuck, she is nice to her old "besties" as long as they don't dare to piss her off. She is insanely friendly, though catty and loud, she is always trying to invite others to come have fun with her, whether it's dancing all night or doing a line of coke with her in the club restroom. Be careful when dealing with Kylie though, she can turn on you quickly and completely ruin your life over any small inconvenience, as well as put you 6 feet under.

As of 2024, Kylie is 45 years old, still rocking her party animal glow and indulging in an unhealthy cocaine addiction to keep her going. She keeps close tabs and connections with her crime boss friends, making sure that both she and her former employees are protected, because of this, Kylie tends to feel "untouchable" compared to common folk, and thinks she can do whatever she wants without consequences. And to be fair, she hasn't run into anyone that could stop her yet.

There's a basic summary!!! There's so SOOOOO MUCH to cover with Kylie and her backstory and her place in the main story (Miss Arellano) but for now, I hope this can suffice as a decent introduction to our evil ginger lady Kylie!!! :D

I can't lie, Kylie is a TERRIBLE friend and boss and maybe even.. ugh.. person? BUT I CAN EXCUSE WOMEN'S WRONGS AND I LOVE HER ANYWAYS. She was the first antagonist I made for Isabelle's story so she has a special place in my heart lol. As well as a banger Spotify playlist >:]

thoughts on Ginny and Harry as a couple?

There are a lot of people who find their romance in HBP forced. I don't think it's forced so much as underwritten, and the books don't get the chemistry quite right (though the movies certainly don't, either). There's potential, but they just don't get enough actual scenes of substance (besides Harry thinking she's pretty or feeling jealous of Dean) for a lot of readers to buy that they're not only in love, but deeply enough in love to break up, get back together, and wind up married.

That's not to say I don't see the appeal. There's a very cool scene in Book 5 where Harry's doing a woe-is-me-Chosen-One act, and Ginny effortlessly puts him in his place about it by reminding him that she was possessed by Voldemort at eleven, which is a rare glimpse into her character and also a great synecdoche for their relationship — Ginny is a grounding presence who, like Ron and Hermione, isn't going to be awed by his past adventures because she knew him before they happened. In that respect, Ginny's probably one of the few women Harry could feasibly wind up with, because he only ever seems comfortable around people (let alone girls) who can see past the Chosen-One schtick and treat him like a normo (see: Ron, Hermione, the Weasleys, Luna, Hagrid). True to type, he doesn't get interested in Ginny at all until she's ditched her celebrity crush and ceased to view him as an idol, because in his heart of hearts, Harry wants to be a normal boy, and it's stressed over and over that part of what he likes about his relationship with Ginny is how normal it feels. He kind of has a horribly supercharged version the celebrity dating problem: after the Battle of Hogwarts, anyone he meets is going to know him first as Harry Potter, Chosen One, Boy Who Lived, and Actually Fucking Resurrected Messiah of the Wizarding World, which is... I mean, it's possible that there are witches out there who could get over that, but Harry's not an extroverted guy, and I'm not sure how he'd go about finding them. Ginny's the one who's been there since the beginning, doesn't need anything about him or his past explained to her, and actually likes him for who he is.

When you look at it that way, it's not surprising he married his high school girlfriend. She's one of the few people still alive who doesn't see him as a demigod.

"This is where I grew up. It's.. Sort of akin to Another Dimension. It's called a Riftal Archipelago, and it's like a series of islands between dimensions. I'm not sure if this is how the story goes in your world, but the people of Planet Popstar—the humans who lived there after they left Halcandra—had left and arrived at this strange between-dimension. So.. They set up camp there. So while I may not have grown up on Popstar or Shiver Star, I have family roots in Popstar."

She sighed quietly—she wanted to answer his whole question, but she was slightly dreading the second bit.

"As for the next bit-"

"I did make it out. Probably not from what you're referring to, but... A conflict started between my family's island and my aunt's island, and... Well, battle broke out and I ran away from home after my mom was killed, and..."

She sighed shakily. "I made it out. But I almost died doing so, and in a moment of panic I opened a portal and.. I wound up in Dreamland, leaving behind my siblings and my dad. And... I had to live with the fact that they were without me and my mom."

She shook her head. "But.. things are a lot better now and we ended the war. So... Life sure isn't easy, but.. I still made it, right?-"

The more I linger on it, the more I think this might be the most subtly unhinged thing in all of SGRS. What do you MEAN you dated for eight years and never told each other your real names???

Miyokichi talks after the breakup about how she was putting on a "professional front" with Kikuhiko. As a survival technique, Miyokichi tends to make herself into whatever she thinks the man she's with wants from her, and in this case, that means she presented herself as her idea of Kiku's idea of a "good woman" for a full eight years while they were together. She probably would have tried to go on like that forever if he didn't break things off.

Yet at the same time, I think she's rightfully upset on some level that Kiku never looked at her more deeply. We see very little of their relationship, only the beginning and the very end, but given what we do see, it seems like Kiku never quite stops holding Miyokichi at arm's length. He goes along with things and initiates some level of closeness (like leaning into her when he's upset during the rain), but he doesn't push her to get more intimate.

Kiku looks scared when Miyokichi talks about dying during their breakup, he defends her personhood to his master, and he wants to bring her back to Tokyo with along Konatsu and Sukeroku when he finds them, so it's not like he doesn't care about her at all. But while he treats her his own version of decently, he never tries to get to know her on a deeper level. He doesn't take initiative to look for who she is behind her front for him.

(Personally, I'd blame his disinterest in knowing her largely on his own fear of being known, but we don't have time to get into that right now).

The problem with Miyokichi's frustration with being taken at face value, though, is that she doesn't know Kikuhiko's real name either. She most likely never asks, just like Kiku never asks hers. I think she falls in love with the idea of dating Kiku as much if not more than she falls in love with him. He's safe and well-mannered and very handsome, and I think his distant coldness is a comfort to her on some level because neglect, though an unhappy business, is what she has experience with.

Miyokichi likes the idea of ~being the woman~ and supporting Kiku emotionally. I'm sure she encouraged some playact of emotional intimacy between them. I'm sure they found comfort in each other in a very real way sometimes. But, if she got to know Kiku too well, she would have seen things about him she didn't like. Could she have truly known him without knowing he didn't love her the way she wanted? She never quite looks deeper to see whether he's really the type of man that she needs him to be.

I think Kiku is a bit more at fault for the dysfunction in their relationship overall. Whether or not he was ever properly attracted to or in love with her, he's quite clearly an inattentive boyfriend to an egregious degree. Who the hell goes traveling for an extended period without saying a word to their partner?? But he's not the only one that lets their partner pretend to be something they're not.

Kiku and Miyokichi are both very talented actors. Boyfriend and Girlfriend are roles that they're both playing. They're the happy heterosexual couple! Miyokichi seems to latch onto Kiku in large part for the sake of her safety (and because she doesn't know how to exist without a boyfriend in her life). And however much pleasure he may or may not get from Miyokichi's advances, I think Kiku stays in the relationship with her at least in part out of a sense of social obligation. She's beautiful and hitting on him. Young men are supposed to have girlfriends. He's encouraged to date to get experience for his rakugo. Is saying "no" even an option?

But because they're both playing roles, because they're both invested in Doing A Relationship as much as they're invested in each other as individuals, both of them skim along the other's surface. Neither of them ever volunteers to tell the other their real name, and apparently neither of them ever tries to ask. They spend eight years together, but those years are spent dating the personas of Kikuhiko and Miyokichi, not daring to look at the people underneath those masks.

In other words, I'm pretty much convinced that the reason Pharma is remembered as "the evil cowardly doctor that murdered innocents to save his own skin" instead of "the Autobot that got mindbroken by Tarn into thinking that making a plague and killing everyone was his only way to escape" is because he got introduced before the DJD were established as a pants-shittingly evil and sadistic group of freaks, and unlike Rodimus' crew he didn't have the luxury of being a main character whose thoughts and experiences were shown on screen. Pretty much his reputation as "crazy token evil Autobot" was sealed from MTMTE #5 and by the time MTMTE #50-something brought Dying of the Light, Pharma was a footnote in the story and never got to have this new information about the terror of the DJD factored into his own character.

Random question of the comic. When the map says Hamato Weapons does it mean that the Hamatos from the movie died and this is their weapons lost somewhere in the world? ORRR. Is this just a random story where people find random weapons just so called " Hamato Weapons"?

Hmm, trying to figure out how to answer this without spoiling too much~

The Hamato clan does exist in the world (or at least used to), the weapons, at least in this au, could be considered to be a heirloom of sorts passed down though the generations of the Hamato clan.

I haven't really said this before because I have yet to properly delve into the turtles backstories fully, but this is a separated au! So hence, the boys dont know that they are Hamato (or that leo is even their brother ;> ) so it's something they are gonna get to discover on their journey!! Same with ninpo, which will be a big key later on (and technically already has been slightly shown~)

So um, yeah!! The weapons are from the actual hamato clan ancestors, documented in the family's scrolls, and hidden away.

now where they are is gonna be the fun bit. We'll also get to meet one or two of them later on~ ;)
