No but N trying out technology for MC + UB reminds me of my 83 y.o oma who has been trying to use technology to communicate with us. It's the love that counts ❤️

Hello lovely friend! So much love to your oma! Your oma so sweet and lovely and trying and that is what love is.

Once, my mom said that she hopes the inventor of the phone was ‘granted into heaven’ because of how families could keep in touch. Especially was meaningful to her as she’d been physically separated from hers for at least a decade. But they could talk on the phone! And it’s amazing how technology has changed with text messages and video calls.

So! For technology-avoidant N Sewell to actually get with the modern times, for their family and a romanced detective (and not romanced!) detective - it’s really something sweet and special.

One of their most romantic lines was always “I’d fight through any form of technology if it meant you were on the other side”

And the b3 line that makes me swoon, “I’d talk to you for eternity if you asked it of me” (over the phone! connected to blue tooth!). There’s also a wonderful friend line about trying to use a phone for UB + the detective.

Also, it’s going to be a game changer when someone introduces N to talk to text. Expect long messages, words that don’t actually fit, and ending with “signed/love/yours/best regards, nate/nat h sewell”

Until then, their emoji game will be confusing and not fire. M and F are going to have a field day helping them out. And it’ll be all the more glorious.

The way Armand can’t stop smiling when Daniel asks him if he likes him now, and if he’s pleased with the way the turned out. They’re in so much danger and Armand is scared shitless and only wants to find a way to protect them both and yet he can’t stop smiling like an idiot when he says he loves the way Daniel is now. “I might’ve fucked up plenty but I did this one thing right” my heart 😭😭😭

I DID THIS ONE THING RIGHT. Anon, my heart!! But listen, I totally agree with you. Armand may have been uncertain about ever turning anyone and about turning Daniel specifically, but he's obviously not disappointed with the results.

Armand is absolutely thrilled with how Daniel turned out. That big smile gives it away. He loves his messy, giggly fledgling. There's that scene a little later, too, where he's just staring into Daniel's coffin while Daniel sleeps. 👁️👁️ Just watching him, full of love and adoration.

And I think, having seen so many vampires turned over his years, he's especially enamored with the idea that it's his blood animating Daniel now.

We don't know how things devolve for them--we can certainly guess, and by TVA we know they have not gone well 🤧--but whatever happens later, Armand is very clearly happy with Daniel as a vampire. He did not mess it up.

Little Miss Emery is such a doll to draw! I think she and Benji would get along nicely, albeit a healthy amount of sibling rivalry with their clashing personalities. Mermer would really help Benjamin get outside his shell in situations he’s uncomfortable in, though I think he’d deny emotionally relying on her as they aged. Ive got a bunch of silly little sketches I need to clean up and post at some point.
