This book has been going on and off Amazon, just in the time I put it in my cart a week ago it was sold out, but one copy came back and snatched >:)

There be the opening and closing pages, (that I’m aware of) we know Kwazii, Barnacles, Dashi, Peso, and Shellington’s handwriting :DD Love that he signs it with “yours truly” and I’m assuming paw prints are like finger prints from the file. These also imply that there are files on the octonauts Why are they super classified top secret PARDON??? OCTONAUTS WHATCHA GOT GOIN ON???💀💀💀

The format is a monster tale on the left hand page, then the next right hand side shows the actual creature. I picked these three to give examples of things I noticed: number one the descriptions of the monster tales are pretty similar to the show, but some go into more detail so that’s AWESOME hehe loreeeee >:3 Next up I love the oarfish photos because those are the ones Pinto got from Dashi to show his friends at school so that implies Kwazii got copies from Dashi or he stole them from Pinto and I think the second option is better✨ The Sea of Vanishing Ships ones is kinda dark I found it funny AGAHSHD, then for the last one it is implied that there is official octonauts graph paper as seen in the background with the logo, and because all photos and labels are taped on, aside from the monster tales being thought bubbles like the show, we see the little Kwazii picture in the corner. Yknow ima run with that and say those are stickers he has of himself LMAO 😎👍

So I don't have 'the book of bill' yet, but it's making the gf tag trend so i poke my head in once in a while when the tumblr search preview promises and denies me an art i might be interested in

I am fascinated by the discourse. Although one particular post seemed like it was trying to suggest Bill is entirely aroace - and therefore billford shipping is Unwarranted - based on quotes from the book where bill makes a whole point of being all 'eww humans and their relationships are gross or whatever'

And like. As someone aroace. Y'kno what he absolutely could be. But I feel like... after a point a) it goes against the text of all gravity falls material (and more importantly, Sub-text) to assume that he's being entirely 1000% honest and is not even a teensy tiny bit lying or In Blatant Denial because like. Lbr, it plays into his crafted untouchable villain image to take his hokey 'lmao humans Gross and Foreign and Silly' words at face value;

and b) him being aroace doesn't go against any of the stuff that's leading to people hyped on the ship train either, in this case. Specifically because there's a LOT of cues, implications, so on and so forth, that make it clear Bill had some sort of possessive fixation on Stanford. Romantic, platonic, qpr, whatever.

Was it healthy? Obviously not, kind of the whole point of the events that were the basis of everything we see onscreen in the show. But that doesn't mean it's not there either. Whatever it is.

And honestly even if he were aroace he's clearly some sort of favorable, if only because he used his own goddamn romance advice on Ford in the series finale. Even if you argued he's trying and failing to manipulate ford using romance tactics and doesn't feel it like. He obviously is not as repulsed as he's trying to sound if THAT'S the angle he played. Which again calls the veracity of his words into question, just a bit.

(Also a note on another quote I saw - in a section titled "exes" - yeah he claims he has none, wants nothing to do with it etc. But there is also BLATANT lines blacked out above that. That should kind of tip you off that maybe. He's not being honest with us besties.)

Idk. I may be taking the intent of the aroace post out of context and/or misunderstanding tbqh, part of why I'm making my own post. But that and the people screeching how the dynamic is toxic - as if that prevents it from being there in the text, and makes it unexplorable - just had me thinking.

Tried drawing Uncle Sly for the AU again :)

First drawing is mostly canon accurate (mix between his description and his picture), and the second exists, because I somehow thought Uncle Sly had a trench coat, but that was literally never mentioned in the books, pretty sure. But he owns one, in this AU.

I know I sound insane but that's. Insaner than shit.

Like wow I feel actually awful and freakish some days. I sometimes wonder if this is actually here or if it's just all in my head and some huge fucking coincidence. It seems like every time I get closer to figuring something out about him or anyone and anything associated with him, it's like I take 4 steps back.

And it's. Heartbreaking. I don't know how else certain things could even have possibly happened without his existence, but also am I somehow just making up all of this shit. Am I going to spend the rest of my life chasing after every redheaded transgender man I see only for my brain and my heart to be left. Empty. Because it's not him.

nobody's ever going to be him, and I doubt anyone would ever want to.

There's just a level of feeling abandoned that's never going to heal.

The only thing that helps is writing my books.

Seeing people connect to them. Seeing people connect to, and emulate, him.

That makes me feel less crazy. It makes me feel like maybe if it is all in my head and if nothing is actually real at least it was kind of worth it.

To quote bojack horseman, which i probably should not have watched:

"That means that all the damage I got isn't 'good damage'. It's just damage. I have gotten nothing out of it and all those years I was miserable was for nothing."

This is what's. Just circling my brain. If he's not real then yeah I kept myself alive but why did I love. What was the point of it all. There are other people who love me and it's wonderful but sometimes I miss his smile and as fucked as it is I wish that I'd run into someone who's even slightly like him.

Just so that i can stare at them and. Like. Remember.
