HAI STAR I AM BACK FROM EUROPE !!! I got home like two hours ago :3 feels SO good to be back in my own room in my own bed - showered, have laundry going, AND I UNBOXED MY LIMITED EDITION ATE ALBUM I BOUGHT IN COPENHAGEN (posted a pic on tumblr if ya wanna check it out hehe) ... work and school emails can wait until tmrw... RAHHH it's been so long lemme go through your last few responses to my messages since last time I responded Summer if FLYINGGG wahhh I can't believe I start school in a month! I've seen bits and pieces of what you've said about ATEEZ and Lolla and they both sound RAHHHHH I'm so glad you had fun and meet up with your older sister (for ATEEZ) (though the sunburn does NOT sound fun) and I'm glad you were able to stay safe (?) and be responsible and help that girl out (at Lolla) As for South Africa guy... So basically once I went on the trip we didn't talk cause he was on his trip and I was on mine but I did send him a long ass message about what was going on in my brain (after confirming that he would be okay and welcoming to that sort of messages since we couldn't talk it out at the time) and explaining to him how hurt I really was? but like in a respectful and calm manner. Idk it was longggggg mostly cause I over(?)think or like have many thoughts because while I did want to explain that I was hurt, I also wanted to make it clear that I saw where he was coming from and wasn't telling him to hurt him or make him feel bad if that makes sense. Anyways, seeing as I JUST got back and he just got back a few days ago (with covid nonetheless), we have yet to talk about it and he has yet to respond to my long ass message. (also for background info in case I forgot to tell you, yes we did end up talking about where our relationship is a little bit ago before this whole ghosting thing happened and bascially we ended up with "committed relationship w/o lables" because apparently I have baggage (anxiety) attached to the term "girlfriend" from my last relationship LOL hahaha but yeah so basically agreeing to be "committed" and then this happening kinda just made it feel a lot worse aslkjdf) anyways what im left with now is feelings of residual hurt, uncertainty, and genuninely questioning how comfy I am in this relationship now... but I shall wait until we actually properly talk about it hahaha... also... did you actually raw dog your flights... how do you do that omg I will like do that for periods of time but usually I have music going for most of it... (today during my flight from Amsterdam (layover) to where I live I watched one of my fav comfort movies three times in a row (it's Zootopia LMAO)) Europe Trip stuff: my fave part was def the guided, all inclusive tour we did of Norway country side form Voss to Bergen - it was hiking, biking, and kayaking! I died physically (i mean like one of the days was 61 km of biking... and we were doing stuff for 6 days) BUT EVERYTHING WAS SO PRETTY AND THE WEATHER WORKED OUT AMAZINGLY usually its rainy and dreary and cloudy (like where I live - honestly norway looks like exactly where I live) but it was SUNNY the WHOLE time!! I got to swim in the fjords and go fishing (I LOVE fishing...) and just take in all the nature as I hiked and biked etc... and my younger brothers and I made some friends with another family on the tour (there were four other families in total) - this family had three boys - two 17 y/o twins and a 14 y/o - they were so much fun tbh LOL the 14 y/o was very mature tho (maybe more than his brothers tbh) I thought he was like 17 when I first met him and thought his brothers were like 20 LMAO they're all tall- anyways, the 14 y/o, he thought I was like 15 when we first met (I think he developed a crush on me ngl by the end of the tour lol) anyways ya it was fun !!! sorry for the LONGGG life update... HOW ARE YOU DOING STARRR

Okay... RANDOM FACTS ABOUT MAX - PART 2

I went on deep analysis mode this time to try and say all of Max's little nice and cute moments I know of.. Pls take notice, tho!! I'm not trying to flex or anything, I'm just a simple peasant girl on Maximilian's kingdom for a long time and it happens I have FBI blood in my veins 😭 so It's all gather on my brain and hard drive lol SO! I'm just answering this ask with a lot of thought and care so you can know more about Max and how he is even more awesome than you think!!! (And just in text form, cause Max doesn't need to be tagged on more personal stuff on IG (there’s too much illegal fishing at my tumblr pond already! 👏). It’s probably weird to know certain things, yes, but at least I'm respectful, I'll never bother him with this kind of stuff). Well, enjoy the bible below to end up knowing very little about him, still haha.. Just some more small facts.

- Max was at a barbecue just yesterday. It was someones birthday from the set of his new movie. He drank his beer, like usual, idk about the meat.. there was wurst and chicken.. I'm not sure if he's trying to be a vegetarian or not (after that thoughtful video he posted) 🤔.. maybe he didn't eat it, I don't know!!

- a little while before the start of this shooting, he was at the Baltic Sea filming for the series he's gonna be in (just one episode again! Don't get your hopes too high lol he's gonna be a security guard who disappears mysteriously, so....)

- He helped his friend renovate his house a few weeks ago!! How could I forget that on the first post.. Then, he had to go to Hesse for the movie shooting, and his friend had to call another friend to come help him lmao damn

I think I could describe some videos I have then... at least there's some cool and funny stuff. (Friends himself tagged in the past and cast friends)

- Max's dad went to the same uni as him. Also, he voiced a police officer on the phone in a short film Max wrote and directed all by himself (he didn't act on it, but he was also another police officer over the phone haha). Another thing, his dad made the official music for one of his plays.

- The falafel day.. his friend was taking a piss filming Max at the shop from afar and zooming in, saying "omg, guys! I found Noah from Dark! He's right there buying falafel" lmao, then, Max is just standing there looking all wonderful with his perfect hair and such, moving his hands, scratching his chin, ordering his food, and his friend talks some more, doing like a rough Max voice "yeah yeah, I'll have that one. Good, yeah". 😂

- the day he went to take a walk in nature. His friend asks him for a cigarette, he is denied, he goes to take it anyway, Max slams his cup of tea on the table and tries to take his cigarette back and it's all black and they're just laughing lmao (I love his laugh btw, so giggly!)

There was storys posted by Max himself.. so, maybe you saw it, but it's from before dark s3 came out.

- The pigeon storys. He filmed two pigeons chasing each other at the station, one always running from the other and he captioned "me trying to flirt" haha

- He screen recorded an ad for an app that deletes people from pictures and made some joke too, I can't remember exactly what he wrote, smt like "when you break up, but still wants to keep the picture" lol also, he unfollowed like 5 people that week after posting that... hm 👀

- he posted a video of him walking in the dark with really cold wind.. you can only see his hair flying around. Also, with a mask on, another chasing a cat in a big field, and that one drinking his coffee and eating his yogurt (you most likely saw it already)

- Ohh.. His friend was playing Max's drums the other day!!! Made a lot of jokes, it was obvious he was messing around in Max's room (maybe they live together, maybe he just waters the plants lol idk). Some of the jokes were "I've been playing this drums since 1921" and "the drums and me are a perfect pair, don't ever believe otherwise". I wonder what Max said to him.. he can't do anything about it, he's not in Berlin hahah. He has a little giraffe in his room, and other home decors (you can see it on his drumming video on his own IG)

- he likes to read on longer train rides.

- there's a video of him screaming inside a wardrobe after being jumped by a friend and one of him putting lipstick on with the song "I'm a sexy motherfucker" playing in the background hehe we was tagged, it was easy to find when there wasn't much tagged post.

- There's moments of ppl filming something/themselves and he just comes and photobombs it lol he is just like thiss 👏 showing his tongue and doing a funny face and such. One of those I saw it on the IG of a Das Boot cast member I actually already followed before.

- this group was such a blast. There's a few pictures, one of them he's in a dress, he has white stockings on til his thighs, heels and all haha lovely

- His improv-group.. he was almost in tears singing "I believe I can fly" with the group on their last day.. But he was happy! A mix of emotions. He loves everyone, he expresses his love a lot to people in general, he says it and adds heart emojis to make sure haha you can see his comments going on IG of his cast friends, especially from Das Boot (I followed a lot of the guys). So, about always commenting something funny on people's posts.. I didn't saved those, so I forgot most of it, but one I remember was that someone posted a video of a hailstorm and he was like "what are u doing, free ice!! Go grab them" hahaha

- Max has that Noah picture where he's peaking by a wall (you know that one Baran posted) printed and framed! 👏

- Things he’s pretty much always with: his backpack and his big headphones (it's always on his neck. At almost every picture, from every year, with different people etc. I was confused when he had normal headphones at his farm storys. Maybe he forgot them in Berlin 😭. Besides those, his rings, necklaces and bracelets (always, for years and years! Same ones, even). He uses frequently on premieres, as I saw it. Sometimes they also show up on his characters in his one-episode works!! Hahah is so nice when that happens. You can notice this on my screencaps.

- that pic of him that is everywhere now (with glasses, holding a bottle of champagne), I posted that months ago.. There's 2 more pics and 1 video. One pic, he is pretending the automatic lighter that's on the table is a Harry Potter wand (but I think I cropped the table, right.. I can't remember). This was actually posted by Max himself and he tagged his friend who took it. I went to see if they posted smt and there was a picture where he is literally biting the cork of that bottle off with his teeth Lmaoo, and one video.. he is talking on the phone trying to block the view with his feet.. this man!!

- he really doesn't care about buying too much unnecessary clothes and shoes and stuff. He is mindful of his things and the environment!! 

- there's a video of him on the set of Der Zauberlehrling, I need to recall where I got that from (maybe I could share this one. I'm not sure), he is messing with the broom and someone asks him "hey Max, what's that animal?" and points to the fluffy microphone. He says "it's a fucked up coala bear" (in english) 😂

Again.. I can't say names or anything, cause ppl are not mindful! Like.. I know I'm probably weird, but only for myself and my FBI office LOL I don't go over there and follow/reply to all these people’s posts and storys or take their videos and tag Max on them, this is just not.... nah. I'll always be respectful (yeah, some older stuff has gifs, cause he had like 10k followers, and 5 fans on tumblr lol But i never sent/tag him in anything personal directly.. that’s why i only posted on tumblr for the past year, in fact! I never thought things would be the way they are now a year later.. so, newer stuff it's not posted/gif nor ever will). I don't want him to be weirded out and like, disappear from IG!! I think about these things.. when people are being weird and stuff towards him. I don’t know how ppl don’t think about this when tagging him recklessly in random pictures and videos!!!

I wish he had more interviews, so we could know more proper stuff about him. (The few interviews he has are translated on my IG highlight. There's still an 8min interview missing there, cause I'm contemplating about being more of a bother to german speaking people, since I only have basic german..

My first Artist alley experience

So I did it. I survived! Can I get a wahoo yeehaw boiiiiii

Anyway I wanted to write a "lil" thing about it all, like how it went, what I learned and shit like that. So here we go~

The convention I've been going to for a while now (3 times if you count this one) is called Närcon summer, and it's a "bit of everything" convention in Linköping (sweden) that happens every summer, but they also have one in the winter and fall as well, tho I've never been to those. (I want to try and get to Närcon Winter this time if it's possible).

It's pretty big. Apparently this year they got about 12.500 visitors over the weekend, so I got to meet a lot of people!

So, how was it?

Well if I wanna be short and straight to the point, it was amazing. I had so much fun and I can't wait to return!

Long answer? Well this one will go through the whole experience from start to finish. So buckle up kiddos this might get boring.

So for me it started even before the convention opened it's gates. During it I had decided to try and sell sketchbook commissions for 50 sek (like 5 bucks), because (1): It meant I would have something to do and wouldn't just have to sit at my table and stare off into space, and (2): Seemed fun.

I then decided to try and start selling them before the convention started, so that some people could come and pick them up day 1 if they wanted to. This worked, way better than expected. In the end I had 5 drawings to make before I even got there.

Here also comes the first thing I learned!

If you sell it for cheap, some people will tip you once they see the final result!

Not everyone paid extra, but I had a couple do it and that seriously almost brought tears to my eyes :')

I had reasons for selling them for so little, but I know that it was way too cheap considering the amount of time I put into each of those drawings. I just felt that; since basically no one knows who I am and this is my first time having a table, this would be a good way to get my name and work out there.

I mean, it did work since I sold 13 of them in total? Over 3 days? (I've never drawn that many things in such a short amount of time ever before).

At first I thought I wouldn't be able to sell more commissions once I got there since I already had 5 of them to do (3 of which I managed to finish before I got there). But apparently I can be fast if I need to? Suddenly they were all just...done and I opened up the commissions again!

It was a mix of fanart, original things and OC´s! Some of them I actually wanna make digital versions of cause I think they would look cool...

Once I got there I had to face one of my fears...my neighbors...  I had no idea what so ever who I would be seated with so I was afraid these upcoming 3 days would be filled with awkward silence and avoiding eyecontact. BUT! And that's a huge but (hehe)! They were great. Literally first second I met them I was like "yeah this is going to be fine".

We had so much fun, and once it got late we would sing Abba songs, and today I feel sorry for the people that had to listen to us... :P

I hope to meet them again next närcon, but the gods probably won't put us as neighbors again. They're probable mad at us for the Abba thing...

Literalpleb Apeachiations

Both had a bunch of fire emblem stuff, and apeachiations had some real pretty steven universe prints I wish I could buy but I don't watch steven universe so :(

Oh and I was given amazing gifts from them!

Then I bought these 2 key..chains...rings...I can't remember the english word....

Anyway I saw the Kirby one and knew I had to get it, and then I was talked into gettin the other one (I love it and wanted it don't get me wrong. It's a joke). I have yet to play the new fire emblem because my pre-order is back home and I'm at my parents place for another couple of weeks so :(

(I bought stuff from other people as well but I'll show that at the end!)

Setting up the table was fun! I decided to bring my bookmarks and a couple of prints, + like 8 stickers of my hamster logo. I gave 2 of them away tho to my neighbors .

Oh and I put one of my cosplay rifles on the table as well because I decided it would be too much work carrying 2 around. x'D

It started out slow. Most people just stopped by and looked and then moved on. I sold maybe 1 print and 2 bookmarks the first day? I didn't expect much anyway since it was my first time there. Honestly I'm surprised one of my prints even got sold ^^' So I wasn't that put down by the first day...

But then it was Friday, the second day, and things started picking up! I sold out one of my prints! Someone even decided to buy that damn rifle I randomly threw on there, which was amazing. I still can't believe it?

Friday was also the day my friend and I decided to do our cosplay. I missed a couple of hours in the alley because of that, since we had to get back to the hotel and change and all. Tho we did it during the evening so that it would get colder outside and we wouldn't miss THAT much time.

The alley closed around 10pm so we left around 3 to change, got back at 7 and spent those last hours there. Once it closed we also stayed way later at the convention, just walking around and actually looking at things!

Ok back to artist alley!

The last day I entered the building, and then only went outside once to buy a drink. Other than that I literally sat there a whole day. 10-10. (Don't worry I had a friend with me that came and went with drinks/snacks).

This day was by far the busiest! I had figured out already that most people wait until the last day before they buy a lot, which makes sense since you want to scope out the whole place before deciding on anything. Saturday (the last day) was also probably one of the days most one-day goers chose? I don't have evidence but that's the day I would choose if I only went 1 day at least...

I decided I would have sales on the last day. For example you got a discount if you bought a whole set of bookmarks. The commissions stayed the same price tho since it was already so cheap. ^^'

In the end I sold 45 bookmarks, the rifle, all my stickers, 13 commissions and all prints except for the 2 with the woman laying in flowers :/ My poor Selma (oc). Might put those on my etsy? I still have bookmarks there btw! Even though I sold a lot those did not sell out. xD

Now, the last day was also the day I bought stuff from others. I decided not to buy anything from the big shops in the other building, and only spent my money on food and artist alley stuff!  Gotta support em fellow artists ya know!

I already listed the things I bought from my neighbors, but I went outside of our little hidden away corner too (I did not pay extra for like a good seat heh...).

I had table 74 (in the upper right corner)...so yeah we were very hidden. Considering the bad spot my table did very well!

So then. What did I learn for next time? Weeeeell...let's make a list I guess!

You always need to bring more business cards than you think. I thought I had enough but nope, they were gone halfway past the second day :/

Next time I'll bring more prints. (Only brought 2 of each, except for the spirited away one. Of that I had 4)

Take pictures of your damn commissions!

Bring more drawing paper. (I had to buy a new sketchbook the last day cause I had like...one empty page left)

Leave a sketchbook on the table for people to look through

You're not as bad as you think you are.

Put the commission sign in the middle where it's easy to see it. A lot of people didn't see mine before I moved it.

Putting a sign saying "only one left" on an almost sold out item is good.

Keep track of which prints get the most people to stop. Make note of this and order more of them for next time.

Also take notes whenever someone buys something, so you know how much you sold!

Find something you can hang your prints on so you don't have to lay them on the table. There's not as much space as you think there is.

Write down your instagram on your business card! (I forgot I had one xD)

Like I said, I had an amazing time and I really hope to do something like this again very soon! Hopefully I'll have time and money to get to Närcon winter. I'll at least try and grab myself a table just in case, and sell it if I can't go in the end. I probably won't cosplay there tho and only focus on artist alley. ^^'

R1 Love - okay so like...i love greg james, scott mills, and grimmy. i just do. i listen to greg and scott’s podcasts as often as i can and they make me smile when i’m having a bad day. i then started to imagine harry coming out to his mum because he saw her reaction to scott coming out and knew she’d be supportive and how that would have him cling to the r1 dj’s even more, but like, what if he had a crush on greg and then, because he’s a regular listener that greg gave a “job” to for the podcast, got invited to go and tour the studios and thought his dream of meeting greg was coming true only to meet his gorgeous intern louis??? so yeah. this is basically gonna be a massive ode to the r1 djs, mostly greg and his podcast peeps, and a bunch of silliness cause i can. it’ll be part of the 1000 feelings challenge whenever i finish it.

Wibbly Wobbly 2 - AKA Back to How it Was’ sequel hehehe people seem to be interested and invested in what happened with other harry and other louis. where was other harry while our harry was there in his universe? does he remember anything? did he go back to the morning that our harry woke up there and have to recreate the magic? what was he up to while our harry was there? all these questions will be answered, as well as WHAT HAPPENED WITH LOUIS in the sequel. i’m actually doing this one in part with @1dfanworksforcharity so be sure to check out the blog and see how you can bid as well as more details for what all i’m offering in my creator post here.

Soulmates Famous/Non-Famous AU - this one is actually also going to be part of the @1dfanworksforcharity as well, if people want it (i hope you do). the basic idea of this one is the world is black and white until you have seen your soulmate, EXCEPT there’s a caveat. pictures don’t work for this, but video/tv does. imagine louis’ surprise when he’s watching graham norton one night and looks up to see what exactly that famous singer harry styles looks like anyway and his world bursts into color as soon as a handsome face with dimples and beautiful, bright eyes comes on the screen. even more surprising is when harry’s performing at one of his outdoor shows in london and when he goes to the side of the stage to get closer to the audience, his world also becomes flooded with color. the fic will be all about the mishaps, journey, and adventure of them trying to find one another. if you win this one in the charity auction, you’ll be able to help give some plotpoints and ideas for things you want included in the fic that i’ll do my very best to create for you :)

Fantasy AU - i have had to shorten this title because dragon/hedgehog witch au was getting too complicated and didn’t fit in the small space of my to do list lol see harry unintentionally pissed off a witch one night and was turned into a dragon only to find the witch had disappeared and there wasn’t any way for him to get himself turned back. he starts going in search of the white witch that is rumored to be on the other side of the kingdom who sometimes, with her kind heart, turns back the spells of this particularly moody witch. on his journey he meets a hedgehog who goes by the name of louis, a bird with a broken wing named niall, and a mouse named liam. will the white witch be able to turn them back? if the white witch can, will she do actually do it? and will the bond between these four that was forged during this journey be enough to cross class and background if they are? no idea when this one will be finished tbh, but i keep getting more and more inspiration for it so what was going to originally only be a few thousand words is turning out to look like it could possibly be my big bang for next year lolll

Stealing Flowers AU - so the amazing @harrehleh showed me a prompt hahaha and it all comes from this photo:

basically louis has been crushing on dimples with the hair for ages, but he can never seem to get the guts to talk to him. he doesn’t want to bother him on the tube, but they almost always catch the same train home and get off at the same stop. one day, louis starts seeing signs posted with what he knows to be dimples’ back photographed and the accusation that he’s been stealing flowers from people’s gardens. louis feels awful and finally gets the courage to talk to harry after seeing the signs, but things are never quite as they seem.

Attention Famous/Non Famous - y’all are probably sick of my wips list already, aren’t you? i’ve got so many. i promise i’m almost done. there’s a reason i have an actual list for this lol anyway, this is based off the song attention. harry is a famous actor who just broke up with his up and coming model boyfriend. his ex is taking advantage of the fact it’s near the debut of harry’s newest film and trash talking him to industry people and everyday people alike at the parties. harry keeps hearing the bullshit and when he sees his ex at a party one night, decides to get back at him. louis, meanwhile, is struggling because his hours just got cut at his main job and his secondary was only seasonal so he has to find supplementary income. his bestie niall invites him to get in on the catering for some of the industry parties and when it turns out he isn’t needed at one of them, he’s given permission to mingle at the club. he never thought he’d end up dancing with harry styles to help him get back at his ex boyfriend.

Sneaky Tube Pic - so essentially harry sees this person who is so hot on the tube and his friends don’t believe the person he’s describing actually exists so he finally works up the courage to try to take a sneaky pic and prove it. harry thinks he got away with it, but as louis gets off at his stop, he slips harry a slip of paper with his number on it and a wink. hehe

Larried in Vegas WIP - this one has been sitting in my pocket for seriously over a year. still unfinished. because i keep getting distracted with fics like the ones i’ve listed above, but i swear this is the last one. anyway. louis wins tickets to the BBMAs and since he’s obsessed with zayn malik, who is PERFORMING, he jumps at the chance and drags his best friend, liam, with him. liam is less than enthusiastic, but that’s fine, because while there they meet harry and niall. since they’re seated beside each other for the awards, they get to know each other well and by the end of the night decide to go clubbing together. when in vegas, right? their night takes an unexpected turn when they accidentally land at the club where zayn malik himself is hosting a private party. when they wake up the next morning not remembering anything past meeting zayn, they have to piece together the night’s events via social media posts, trending tags on twitter, and the videos/photos on their phones. hehe

older kid fic - i saw a prompts post about wanting kid fics but where the kids are older, and i’m super excited for this one, though i dunno that i’ll ever finish it. i love the idea but have no idea where it’ll go lollll harry’s got a 16 year old daughter who has a newfound love of drama. he goes to attend her final monologue performance for her class, and finds out that she might have told him to come because she secretly wants to set him up with her unfairly beautiful drama teacher, mr tomlinson.

The Story Of (Thursday To)Night...

First London trip in 2018 - going WAY back when the lovely R started planning for HER Hamilton trip (mind you, I actually told her I wasn’t interested in going with her!!! SILLY ME!!!) 

Anyhow, she had the tickets since they first went on sale!  And after I’ve fallen into this particular rabbit hole almost a year ago, I BEGGED her to take me with her and graciously she allowed it! (I LOVE YOU!) So we packed our bags and flew to London, where we settled into a lovely hostel smack in the middle of Soho (super central but if you value silence at night: NOT the place to stay; fine for us as we were only staying for two nights) AND exhausted after every day!)  before heading out to the beautiful Victoria Palace Theatre. Luckily we arrived just as the matinee was over so we lurked about and got rewarded with King George III himself, doing his thing (and his Insta story; if you look REALLY closely you can actually see us... for a nano second of so! *lol*) 

We bagged us some pics with Cleve and Tarinn before they headed to get some well deserved lunch while we got us some coffee to get ready for the evening show!  Before we knew it we were queuing and only a few moments later we were inside! And the place has not lost one bit of fascination or beauty since I’ve first set foot in it last December!  Still so very pretty and gorgeous, and when we finally were allowed inside, it’s still fucking breathtaking to see that gorgeous stage again!!!  We had tickets up in the Grand Circle, and let me tell you, the view is incredible! Yes, you’re further away but you can actually see EVERYTHING!!! Hell, you can see so much better from up there! 

While we were still squeeing (me, mainly) and trying to stay calm, the place filled up. The excitement in the air is unique, I’ve never felt anything like that - the buzz in the air, the tangible sense of joy for just being there, it’s one of the most wonderful things in the world.  (We also saw someone we adore; they walked in about 5 minutes before the start and took their seat only a few rows below - we might have died a tiny bit! First of all for seeing them, but mostly because they were up there in the ‘cheap seats’! *squees* With us!!! They looked just as excited to be there as us which made this even more awesome!)  But as soon as the lights went out, we actually forgot!!! Yes, that happens. You forget everything: the pain in your shins from being pressed into the ridiculous leg space, the famous person sitting only a few rows across from you, the sleep deprivation, just everything. Cause you’re about to see Hamilton! And that renders everything else meaningless. At least for the next 3 hours!!! 

The second Giles walks onto that stage, you’re caught in the whole thing! I’ve seen it once, back in December when they were still in previews, and I have to admit, I was way too excited to pay that much attention to the smaller things; the second time around I could actually watch without freaking out! 

Giles Terera. Goddamnit, he’s good! I know, people are very divided about his performance: it’s either yay or nay. There’s nothing in between! Back then I wasn’t really convinced either but gosh, that man’s rocks his Burr! He blew me away, his acting has gotten even better (and it was already pretty good back then), and I’ve fallen in love with his interpretation of one of my fav songs! He gives Burr his very own spin, and he does it beautifully! 

(Sadly for me) We didn’t get Obioma as Washington, Gabriel Mokake took his part that evening. He is good, no doubt but I’m so very much in love with Obi! Still, he was very much out there, rocking that role in his very own way. (And just another reason for  me to go again to see Obi again - he’s just as perfect as Chris!) 

Rachel as Angelica! Just love! The second she steps on stage, she commands ALL the attention And dear Lord, that woman is a force of nature!! She’s soo fucking incredible, I would happily watch everything she’s going to be in in the future - she’s that fantastic!!! And even up in the Grand you can see and feel her every emotion... yeah, I’m in love! She’s outstanding. 

Still not entirely convinced about Rachelle as Eliza; she’s improved since December but there’s still something missing for me. Although she was really good in the second half... *shrugs* That’s MY very opinion, R loved her so maybe it’s just me! 

Christine’s Maria is not from this world! Her voice is made of molten chocolate and sin! GUH!! 

Jason! Oh tiny, wonderful, squishy, adorable, sassy Jason freaking Pennycooke!!! He’s just fantastic! Every little thing he does is perfect! He might be my absolute favorite Lafayette/Jefferson! (mind you, I've only known Daveed so far but still...) Jason IS his characters, he’s not just playing them, he IS them! And that’s something I’ve very rarely seen! Every single gesture, every single word IS them! And he seems to be a fan favorite as well, I think he’s got the biggest applause whenever he enters the stage! (Although King George might be a good second *giggles*) 

Since the first time, I’ve been following Tarinn and Cleve over on Insta (go and check it out, they’re freaking hilarious!) and it’s mindblowing how these two dorks become two (well, four) completely different people on that stage!  They’re both wonderful and manage their transformations with ease and grace!  Cleve’s Laurens is so sweet and passionate (and I can totally see where this Ham/Laurens ship comes from! *hehe*)  and his Philip will break your hearts over and over again!  Tarinn is cheeky and his sass is fabulous, and his voice soo reminds me of the OBC it’s scary sometimes! 

This time around I finally had time to actually pay some more attention to the ensemble. DEAR GOD, those people are soo freaking talented! I could happily spend an entire evening  just watching them! The choreo is outstanding, and they do it as of they’ve never done anything else! It’s pure perfection! 

And that stage! OH THAT STAGE!! She’s a beauty and a star in her own rights! GAH!! 

The ‘Immigrants’ line got its deservedly cheers and applause but less loudly than the last time. (But I have the feeling that was because they didn’t want to Interrupt the performance too much) The applause between songs (where appropriate) was deafening nonetheless. (Here I sneaked a glance at our celebrity, and they were just as blown away as us which made me even more happy than I already was! Dunno, there’s something about actually seeing someone like that being just as blown away by it as you are! It’s wonderful!) 

So many tiny things and bits I finally noticed, things I didn’t see or which didn’t register the first time round, nothing special but lovely nevertheless. There might have been tears during ‘Quiet Uptown’.  At the end, the room was on its feet almost immediately and the applause didn’t want to end!!!  Everyone who left was smiling and happy and we sort of floated out! 

And this time around we finally did stage door! Thankfully it wasn’t as cold as in December so we stuck around.  Didn’t take long for the first few to come out; and this time we even had stuff for them to sign (in the afternoon they seemed confused cause we only asked for pics and didn’t have anything to sign) 

It was lovely, everyone was respectful and kind, and the cast took its time, signing and taking pics. Jason is so freaking tiny, I will never get over that. And he’s so very sweet!  While we waited I kept checking the cast’s insta in case our celebrity went backstage (haven’t seen anything so they probably didn’t) but somebody else was there! I might have scared the people around me with the noises I made when I saw that Catherine Tate had been backstage!!! The second I showed the girls the pic, a few people came from the back of the alley. And who was with them? Catherine Freaking Tate!!!!  We might have freaked a tiny bit. But since she was with people we didn’t want to intrude as she walked past us. But then she stopped and chatted with a few others, and as they started to take pics, we slowly but surely edged closer.  And while we were still discussing whether or not to ask, she turned towards us and asked ‘anyone else?’  I mean, you do NOT say no to that woman!!! *giggles* Of course we wanted!  She asked where we’re from, and as we said from Germany, she greeted us in good German ‘Guten Tag’!  GAH! She’s amazing, and beautiful and so very kind and so generous. We chatted a bit more, about the show, which she loved (DUH), and she said she cried a bit! HACH! Wonderful woman! And a wonderful end to a pretty perfect day!  But we weren’t done yet, cause eventually the man himself came out, all shy and lanky and seemingly overwhelmed at the people still waiting for him (at least that’s how it felt to me).  Naturally we approached and got us autographs and pictures. GEEZ, that man’s tall. I’m not tiny but even I felt like a hobbit next to him - which he actually said, he makes everyone feel like one next to him! Yep, he totally does. He’s very sweet, very tall, and has an adorable laugh. He wanted to duck for my pic but I didn’t let him, told him, I wanted his full height. *sighs happily*. 

Once we were done, we stuck around a bit longer, watched the few cast people get ready for a belated birthday night out of one of the girls, and once they were off, we left as well, happy as one can be! 

The next morning we spent wandering around London, visiting an exhibition R had found on here - and wow, that was beautiful! If you’re there, check it out, it’s gorgeous! 

In the evening we had theatre, the girls went to see Jeremy Irons, and I went to see Macbeth. Got myself a cheap ticket in my fav theatre, and third row even! GAH! That was lovely, I adore the Olivier theatre, and being that close to the stage was wonderful.  The play itself was a bit... well, Shakespeare is always  difficult for  me. I love it but I REALLY have to concentrate to not let my mind wander. Which wasn’t helped by the overstuffed stage and the weed stinking dude next to me (who thankfully left during the interval - still had that smell in my nose all day!)  Still worth it tho. Might’ve giggled a bit at the few references I know from Hamilton! Afterwards I almost missed Rory at stage door. There were only like five people, and I expected a bit of a wait. I had no idea that looking down on my phone to check the time made me miss him walking out!!! (Mind you, I’ve waited 90 minuted for a certain Gatiss two summers ago so I did NOT expect this!)  Sheer luck made me catch him tho, and even got me a picture! Happily I went back and joined R at the Wyndham stage door. Seeing Jeremy Irons up close was a nice ending to another lovely day! (No photos allowed) 

Saturday we left superearly for the airport, because of the snow warnings. But even though our flight was delayed by almost 2 hours, we made it before it got worse! 

So this concludes two and a half days of epic perfection!!!  Best way to start the annual London trip series - couldn’t have wished for a better start of 2018 or for better company to do this with!  Thank you, my loves!  Here’s to the  next time!!!

1.) i doubt theyd be going on roadtrips with a lot of work. elena probably only goes on roadtrips during school breaks and finn usually has to request time off Ages in advance. so therefore, they don’t really have a lot of work to worry about. 2.) im actually not too sure abt this one ... considering the only time they could go on roadtrips is during breaks, they don’t have much work to do.

Highlights Before Going Back to College (Harry Potter Book Night, Kopi Kalyan, etc.)

NOTE: Okay I know this post is ancient but I’m going to post it anyway. Truth is, I’ve already postponed this post since the mid February due to the overwhelming college stuff and my severe life crisis (yea it’s getting real). So, here you go. Enjoy!

I’ve already skipped the first day of my college and in a few hours I’ll be flying to Malang again. I guess the first week of college here is not as tough, because many of my lecturers skip too. If not that, they’ll be just taking the presence list of the class, delivering overviews of the class and they all usually just take a matter of minutes. The real stuff usually happen in the second week. So I’m bracing myself to the max.

I’m feeling like this holiday has been enjoyable. Very enjoyable. I should’ve been doing an internship. I mean I did, but it’s not that much of a struggle, because the location of my internship place is just some steps away, hehe. 

Anyway this holiday I’ve been reading Harry Potter & The Deathly Hallows, which is a long ass book. 1000 pages, can you imagine? I still have 200 left. Yea it’s a real struggle, but the story’s real good. Many parts that the movie has missed or replaced. It means my resolution to read book as many as I can this holiday has to be delayed. In the beginning of my holiday I also try to sleep at maximum 11 PM. But as the holiday vibe got intense, I can only sleep at over 11 PM. That’s a thing I need to fix later on.

February 2nd 2017

This day should be the day to meet some of my high school friends, but some of them had to cancel the plan because of some incidental matters. Bummer..

But all is good because at night I also had a plan to go to the Harry Potter Book Night at Periplus Pondok Indah Mall. I’ve just figured out that this event is being held every year around the world, thanks to the Bloomsbury publishing (the publisher of the Harry Potter series). This year its taking Professors of Hogwarts as the main theme.

The tradition of this event, which is book reading, took excerpt that tells the professors part (the parts that were taken were Professors McGonagall, Professors Sprout, Professors Snape, and Professors, Madam Hooch). Also there’s some mini games and some kind of a presentation about each House’s Head (which is kind of boring, sorry).

It’s my birthday! Nothing special really, it’s just another year of leaving my youth even further and it actually feels scary. I still can’t place myself in the period where I have to find a proper job, being away from home (this time it may be permanently), cook my own meal, facing the ‘real world’.Being away from home for college alone sometimes can be pretty devastating, let alone being away for a job :’

For now, I appreciate people who wishes me well on my birthday this year.

Went for a meet up with my friends, Iffa and Misya. We visited our high school and ate the most favorite meatballs in the entire school (it’s the only one anyway). 

We then went to Kopi Kalyan which was a super cozy coffee shop. A great Instagram worthy place too. Also they didn’t forgot my birthday, cause I thought they were, haha.

Lately I’m much too absorbed in the actual gig than to take anything more than a few blurry pics. Although I did get a few decent ones on both days (did bring my camera for the seated day as phone does well close but not as well when further away). And mostly these days it’s more of a reminder that I was actually there than anything else. Others usually help with better pics and videos. THANK YOU for that!

Anyhow: my London trip was quite magnificent!!! Absolutely fantastic and wonderful despite the rain and the cold and the drunk idiot in the bunk bed above! (Thankfully only for one night but still, that really sucked!) 

Arrived Friday late evening, and even though I was worried about having to travel all by myself this late, it worked out just fine. Sadly mentioned drunk idiot, who stumbled in at half past 1, kept us all awake most of the night with his pissed ramblings - he even tried to stop a snorer who didn’t disturb any of us but that drunk asshole (if he would’ve shut up for 5 minutes he would’ve fallen asleep instantly and we all would’ve had some peace. Ah well, I’m sure he felt our little revenge in form of NOT being considerate of his hangover the next morning! *hehe*) 

I was ready and set for the day; first order of business was to meet up with @daysofstorm and FINALLY meeting @naturalshocks for the very first time!!! Breakfast at Speedy’s which was lovely! So happy to manage the time to meet them and have a lovely morning!  After that I was off to meet up with another friend; we had a wander around Regent’s Park and Primrose Hill, and would’ve made it to Hampstead Heath if it hadn’t got rather late, and I needed to go back to get ready for my concert. 

Due to traffic and weather we arrived later than planned but we still managed to get a good spot in the rather short queue (it grew much longer later on; but we already noticed that people tend to turn up about half an hour before doors open for Elbow gigs). And since my friend got some really good Karma when it comes to gigs, we managed a great spot in the front row!!! (Third time with her <3)  We were very happy! The support wasn’t as bad as the last time (still shuddering, thinking about them), and at 8:45pm it was FINALLY Elbow time!!! 

The second those guys walked on stage I started smiling and didn’t stop for a long time! HACH! I don’t know what it is, and how they keep doing this every single time, but for the entire length of the gig I forgot everything and existed only in the moment!! Sooo damn glorious to see, hear and feel the magic that is Elbow’s music for me!! Absolutely beautiful! And feel one does, with every single bone, and it’s the most amazing thing. I’ve been to many gigs before but these guys, this wonderful, band, keeps doing things that get to me like no band or musician before!  And it’s not the stage show: there’s a few (beautifully put) lights but no huge pyro or anything, just the boys on stage, doing what they do best, and it’s absolutely magical!!!  It was a great mix of the new songs with older ones, and the audience was incredible as well! The usual singalong songs were of course fantastic, as always! When you stand among hundreds and you’re singing along like one??? Most incredible thing EVER!!! (Sadly Head For Supplies wasn’t on the list; I knew that before; but I would’ve LOVED to hear that one live as it’s one of my favs!)  And even though their songs aren’t actually danceable when you listen to the records, live they really really ARE! Especially Magnificent which lately made me all teary eyed for some reason; not on those days! It made me smile like an idiot, made me sing along and dance like a lunatic!)  I’m just sooo very much in love with this band!! If you ever get a chance, go and see them, you won’t regret it. These guys are a band you want to EXPERIENCE!!!  It was over way too quickly (90 minutes fly by when you’re in the presence of these geniuses!), but my friend managed to get one of the set-lists which made her (and me) very happy!  We floated out of the venue, said goodbye as we had to go in different directions, and I made my way back to the hostel (with a quick stop for much needed sugar before bed).

I slept like a baby for 8 hours straight before I headed out to meet with another friend again. She was held up tho, so I strolled around Soho and Covent Garden, and let me tell you there’s worse things to do on a lovely Sunday morning - less crowded than during the week. I accidentally stumbled onto Oxford Street but it wasn’t as bad cause normally I’d avoid it like the plague!  Met up with friend around 1 and we had a wander around St James’s Park, met squirrels and geese before it started pouring down and she got drenched because of the wind. So we said our goodbye, and I went back to hostel to dry off and then met with L again for the second night of magic and music. 

This time we had seats, and as much as I liked being able to sit after two days of running and standing around, Elbow is NOT a band I want to see sitting down ever again; not as long as I can avoid it! Didn’t take away from the amazing show (and you can actually see the WHOLE stage, and the lights and everything) but you’re rather restricted in your (chair)dancing!!! *lol*  Plus, people kept coming and going up there, and made the entire show a bit... unruly? restless, I guess. Was a teeny tiny bit annoying, and I can’t recommend that! As much as my feet thanked me, I’d rather stand another 90 minutes. *shrugs* But that’s just me!  Second show was just as incredible as the first; the setlist got switched around a bit, they changed the order of songs, and so it felt like a completely different show!  I wished I had the words to describe the feeling of being in an Elbow audience, feel the music like it’s something that touches you; how it makes you feel to hear Guy’s voice all around you; how insane it sounds when every single one of the people around you sings almost an entire song completely on their own, and Guy just stands there with that big happy smile and drinks it in!! I mean, he’s done this a million times and yet it feels as if he’s doing this for the first time!!!  Such a lovely lovely man!  And such a happy man - there’s a line in one of their songs that says “I’m having a baby”. And since that’s true (due end of March; he’s cutting it REALLY close with this tour), a) the audience was cheering every time and b) he’s grinning like crazy!!! That was such a special and sweet moment!!!  And the audience is such a mixed crowd: all ages, from young ones (which includes L and me) up to people in their 60′s and 70′s (who are still singing and dancing along which is soo cool to see).  I guess it has something to do with them being around for so long already, and that all their songs can mean something totally differently to people. We talked about that, the same song means two totally different things to her and to me, and I guess that goes for everyone else as well. Depending on the mood, or your personal life, a song that’s sad for you, can be a happy one for them. It’s strange, I never had that before, usually a song’s meaning is pretty straight forward. Not Elbow’s. And that’s one of the many reasons I adore them. Also, sometimes one song comes on, and it’S a good one but you don’t really have a connection with it, and then, days, weeks, months later, you listen to it again, and it suddenly means something. And that’s beautiful. But also makes you realize that you simply cannot have their music playing in the background, you have to actually LISTEN to it, listen to the lyrics and the music itself for it to be the magical music it is!!! 

My friend had to leave early to catch her train home so she dashed off right after the last song (we said our goodbyes before the encore), and I was on my own again, more or less floating out of the building, just following the stream of people - which was helpful cause the station we went down the day before was closed and I had to take another way. *hehe* Just follow the people and you shall find it!  (I even had a lovely moment with a fellow concert goer on the tube; handsome guy opposite who kept glancing over; probably was weirded out by me grinning to myself like a loon but then he tilted his phone so I could see he was playing the Little Fictions. (I mean, that was definitely on purpose, usually phones don’t show it like that when you listen to music) And as he left (two stations before mine), he kept looking back at me, and yes, I smiled at him! *grins* Was a very nice ego boost so... *shrugs*). 

And on Monday I had to pack and leave again; left suitcase at Victoria so I could squeeze in a little visit to the river; just a coffee at the National Theatre (can’t go to London and not go there; even though it was only for half an hour). Bus back to airport, uneventful flight back home where my parents (bless them!) picked me up and then I fell into bed and slept for 10 hours and now I’m going to take a long hot bath to ease the aching limbs! 

But as always, it was worth every pain and soreness to see those guys, meet up with friends and have a total blast in my beautiful London! And I will feed of this amazing feeling, full of music and magic and smiles for a long time! I’m purposefully avoiding anything RL at the moment to keep this happy for as long as possible! And right now there’s nothing that can taint what Guy and the rest of the band gave me!!! Bliss, I tell ya! So much bliss!!!!  Now, have some pics while I go and soak in the bathtub!
