4- Nauth and Ven

I love hearing about these two :3

4. How would they describe each other if asked? Physically? In personality?

“What’s Nauth like?” Let’s see. He’s kinda short, but not much more than me. Shorter than most guys I know. Has a pretty sharp nose. In general, he kinda looks like the night sky. …Actually, now that I think about it, most folks would call him attractive. His personality scares people off though.

He’s got a work ethic to go to Utmost and back. It’s unsettling. No one in the Kemen works so hard. He’s not all bad, though. He’s pretty funny, cares about people, and he’s pretty smart, too. But… well, he can be a bit withdrawn. Can’t blame him though. He’s not like that with me, his brother. At least I don’t think he is.

Describe Ven? Well… He’s pretty average, honestly. No offense, but it’s true. Tanned skin, bright eyes, short hair, broad nose. Taller than me by a hand or two. Pretty lean. The girls like him.

…I wouldn’t call him a skirt chaser. He’s not like that. He knows when to stop. But Wyrd, he doesn’t know when not to start. He’ll flirt with just about anyone. …That’s not entirely fair. There’s more to him than that. He’ll shut up when you just want him to listen. And even when he teases, he won’t outright insult you. And I wouldn’t trade him for anything. If you wanna say he’s not my brother, then, respectfully, you should go to Utmost.

Is there anything you’ve always aspired to do, or that you used to aspire to and have finally accomplished?

This is a tough one and i have two-four possible answers (trigger warning for answer three)

Answer one: I used to be really obsessed with being popular in high school, now im well known enough (not quite popular but still) that i feel ive accomplished that

Answer two: I wanted to play basketball SO BADLY in fourth grade but gave up on it (twisted ankle and was a chicken). now im on the basketball team!

Answer three: Ive ALWAYS loved art and reading and ive always wanted to get into it! Since my discovery of wattpad at 12 and my being spiteful at 10 (long story) ive definitely gotten where i wanted to be and hope to continue the passion

Answer four: Last year i struggled with self harm, when i really realized wanted how bad it had gotten i wanted to recover. from then to now im a lot better and by my standards is say thats something ive acomplished

✂️: What is one of their worst memories?

Nauth: It’s only a vague memory, but… watching his parents be killed. He has nightmares, sometimes, but not very often at all. Even if it’s vague, it’s certainly not pleasant.

Ven: His dad chewed him out once for being pickpocketed on the way home from work.

Lynn: Watching through a keyhole, a father and mother yelling at each other. The only option: grab your sister, gather your things, and run.

Elvi: Leaving the city in the middle of the night, for no apparent reason! She still doesn’t know why Lynn did that. So weird…

Mela: [It hasn’t happen in the story yet, but.] Coming home to find it ravaged, tables overturned, belongings scattered on the floor, and her parents… They were alive. But very hurt. She could never forget their faces in that first moment she saw them.

Elial: Her entire childhood. Living on the streets is tough, and she did anything to get by. It didn’t always go well for her. It’s all a blur until she found the Gilded Palm—or rather, until the Palm found her.

William: There’s a girl back home that likes him. Shortly after announcing his intentions to join Enveil’s Company, who was passing through, and travel the world, she told him of her feelings. It hurt to leave her there, silently weeping.

Gloria: A stolen ring, a black cloth, a hot iron… Wyrd, the searing, the slow, torturing pain… …She hates to think of it, even now. She won’t.

Sils: It was dark and cold, even though the fireplace burned bright. She couldn’t feel anything.

Being on the nostalgia train this week really helped stretching my artistic legs again. So here, have some old things and some new! For now I'm done with this.
