"Burn Break," a photo-manipulation by me (also on DA)
I think I first found this base picture at least four years ago, knowing that I had to use it for Tyler one day, but the right inspiration (or stock to make it a size blend) never came up. Lo and behold, I finally struck gold with both!
(more context and references under the cut)
Here, I assume Lyanna is living up to the hype of her athleticism comparable to that of a 20-something Maho, despite nearing or being 40. Tyler, as healthy as he is, is a bit more of a strength build than endurance and is getting a quick rest, whereas Lyanna is using the pause to stretch like the yogi she is. Perhaps, she actually decided to commit to the Superhero Circuit finally, and she's training. As for why Ty is using an outdated mp3 player, let's just canonize that he's looking to connect more with his fine wine, bitty boo with some tech that she would've used at his age, or it's just a blocky fitness tracker.
See more of limber Lyanna and tired Tyler in The High Low Life and its corresponding visuals in their gallery here!

Circa July 2023.
Given that I gave Ly a canon height of (M [for Maho, her species])-5'10'' (because I love tall smalls), I have no clue if her size to the can is set in our (i.e., you, the viewer, and my) universe, at least whenever that base pic was posted. But I'm pretty sure her size against Tyler's Khadra-tallness is right in that 1:12 range. I hope so.
The real question is, "What kind of magic does their planet Eylea have that allows them to keep pace with each other?" Is it anything like Eywa in Avatar, or is it just vibes and flow?

Happy new year!
It’s been a while - I’ve been busy over the holidays and have been testing new strategies for household chores (Flylady’s 31 baby steps is a nice video series to get new routines started!) I’ve knitted, watched netflix ( all seasons of the Blacklist - can’t believe I watched it sooner!) and tried some new games. The most fun was A Way Out together with @galadrielhs-simblr. You and a fellow inmate want to break out of prison and lots of events unfold...It has great co-op gameplay, in fact, you can only play it in co-op, but not just locally, but also online with your friend of choice. The ending really took us by surprise! I’ve splurged on a month of freepik premium (originally for some resources to help me design my sister’s wedding invitations) and went on a hunt for new pattern designs. And I’ve found plenty! This got me in the mood to make some patterns again. Since converting patterns is really meditative and relaxing for me, I fiddle quite a while on some designs. The colorful wood block patterns took a day each to make, but it’s absolutely worth it. In December, I also made some holiday patterns, which I forgot to post earlier. I think I figured out why I like creating patterns so much, even though I rarely even play with them (”play” in the sense of using them in regular worlds/sims and live mode gameplay). First, there’s the hunt for a perfect design and the challenge of making it seamless and converting it to be as perfectly recolorable as possible. Sometimes, I also create patterns from scratch, such as the landscape one on the headpiece of the kid’s bedroom). Then, there is the meditative act of photoshopping. Sometimes, the final pattern looks completely different from the reference. (For example, the wavy paint pattern was originally rather straight, but I made it wavy.) Thirdly, there is the satisfying color scheme design in the tsr workshop pattern tool, and then, finally – the first test run. Testing patterns in the game for the first time is exciting and gratifying. Sometimes I see a flaw that I need to fix, sometimes I adjust the color scheme. Then, there is the decorating phase, testing how it recolors and how it works on different items and with different, complementary patterns. Then, I’ll settle on a scene and take screenshots - and most of them end up here on my blog. Posting pics of my patterns on this blog is like a diary of creative achievements to me and helps me remember what I made :-) It’s nice to know my work is appreciated here!
