I'll do a interest check and if enough people want them...It will be so.#Team Olives and Pickles will get one next. As will team Crackers. You both fought hard but the battle was stacked against you.#Turns out people have very strong opinions about cheese!#Team Jam kept it fun with recommending the most delightful combinations and spreads.#Team meat made me laugh with their chants. Team fruit just wanted a lovely time.#Team crackers were the underdogs but fought a good fight.#Team olives and pickles - you weren't even an official team at the start but you made it your destiny. After doing some research on the types of pets people had in ancient Greece, I'd like to imagine that Helen is the sort of person who has a whole menagerie of birds — and she loves each and every one of them very, very much.
It fits well with her being good at mimicry, you know. Talking and imitating and singing with her beloved birds 💜

I'm happy with the outcome! ^w^#choosing what birds and how many was a challenge... in my mind Helen has dozens of birds and all sorts of species. truly a crazy bird lady.#but I decided to focus on a few for this. maybe another time i'll make a piece with a ridiculous amount of birds for fun >:) hehe#I cant remember the source but I know I read somewhere that people would specifically train magpies to say hello/greet guests#and I love that little factoid (and love magpies very much) so that was an immediate choice for me to feature here.#I also love doves and goldfinches. goldfinches sound so delightful and stand out so they were my 'songbird' choice.#and I'd like to imagine that one specific dove snuggles up on helen's shoulder all the time <3#the only bird that's truly missing here is an indian ringneck parrot (which I initially wanted to put on the shoulder but changed my mind)#so if you're like me and watch too many parrot videos. just know helen has one of them that can't stop talking and posing lmao#capri_art

I would find it so funny if Bruce Wayne, who has an ironic and slightly ridiculous disdain for the occult, had to grapple with his kids' deep belief in the occult. For instance, if one of their siblings went missing with no leads, Bruce would insist on a new search strategy while the kids would be convinced they should at least consult a medium once to get proof of life. The medium would call out Batman for his shitty energy and Bruce would contemplate all the life decisions that led to this.

I'm also still laughing that he really showed up, introduced himself as an Archivist of the Cobalt Soul, and then insinuated that they were going to go extrajudicially hunt down, capture, and "interrogate" a Cerberus Assembly Archmage. Sir, archivists do not do that kind of thing, least of all on their own, LEAST OF ALL with a bunch of random hooligans they were just sent to collect for an unrelated excursion. Quite honestly, that was the thing I kept going back to in evidence of, there is absolutely no way this is a legit archivist.

#my art#pokemon#braixen#pkmn#starter pokemon#YAAAAY only took like 8 days working on off and on WHBDFJKHGB i reworked the pose a bunch#and im really happy with how it came out!!! i may have gone overboard with the shading but thats ok bc i had fun#when i was trying to figure out the fire i accidentally deleted the lining and i did not notice that i did that. so when i went to see if i#could get it back. i could not. so i had to redo the lining HAHA really annoying but its ok bc i still had the sketch and the coloring#using this as a segue to talk about my delphox lucky. my first non handmedown pokemon game was x#so it was a really big deal for me right. i was ten. i picked fennekin [i usually go for the grass starters but fennekin is one of the#exceptions to this] and to my delight my fennekin was a female. and to me that was the luckiest thing ever so i obviously named her lucky#i got her to max happiness and she was the first pokemon i leveled up to lvl 100 without cheating#the fennekin line will always have a soft spot in my heart and i will always include a female delphox named lucky in my dream team lineup

I'm so sorry but ever since that teen Hawks page was translated on twitter I can't stop thinking about it. like. Mera treated him like a person. he was assigned to Hawks when he was already a teenager. did no one treat him like a person before then? was it such an uncommon occurrence that it seemed special when someone did? I mean, they didn't even let him have a person's name. they gave him a hero name, and to the HPSC, that was the name of a tool. of a product. they basically bought a child and treated him so coldly that Mera stood out to him because he treated him like a person. the bars of my enclosure.

It was SO tough to pick between all their cool designs but I just cannot resist a good couple, let alone a tragic one. I wanted to lean into the tragedy at first but then went for something sweet in the end.

Hiii can I just bitch for a second
I can't believe. That Mob introduced eight new characters in the form of the Smiling Critters, relying heavily on them in the marketing for Chapter 3, then made six of them practically insignificant to the gameplay (and had Dogday basically show up to die, even if he did become a temporary enemy)
And then they fucking DID IT AGAIN. Except to an even greater extent. With the Nightmare Critters
We got eight character bios hyping them up for the 4th chapter. And then only Baba Chops showed up. The rest were just there as those tiny little shits that might as well have been regular Critters
It's peeved me since the previous chapter how they just keep introducing new toys without making proper use of the ones they already had, and the trend continues, and it's still annoying
#💬 rory rambles#don't get me wrong I liked Doey#and Yarnaby was a really prominent threat with a fun design#and the Doctor was a menacing villain#it's just that. there were so many toys we hoped to see eventually during the long wait#and then there were ones that ended up appearing in the game unprompted just to fill some role when there were existing ones RIGHT THERE#that could've already filled it#take for instance Miss Delight. why was she there#Pianosaurus was put in PURELY to be killed#thank goodness we at least had an alive Boogie Bot. only a tiny one but still#do you guys remember Candy Cat and Catbee and Bron#Mob sure as hell forgot them
