I have such a primal response when i hear mosquitoes. Like just hearing the vibration of its wings give me such a primal state of rage. I feel insane, almost murderous. Like if i could i would beat them to a pulp. I wish i could make them explode. I just wait and close my eyes, then i violently turn on the lights and scan the room like a predator. I widh they could see or smell, so they would see all the mosquitoes corpses i left on the walls, i wish they could see so they will know what future departs them, because i will never back down, and i won't rest until i kill those bastards an there's not a single one of them in my room. I know they are a vital part of the ecosystem, but i do not care, i want them all to go extinct. I enjoy squishing them on the wall, but i wish they would suffer more, i would tear their legs one by one, i would nail their wings shut, i would cut the thing they use to suck blood bit by bit. Yeah, keep flying pussy, that will be the last time you'll fly in your life, fucking coward. Your dead is inevitable. You're lucky the spiders in my room are lazy, cause otherwise they would have turn your body into a gooey liquid and you would only watch, not able to move your body, as they suck your liquified organs out, fucking bitch. Die. Die. Die.DIE.

A while back now i had made a post talking about how recurrent the theme of decapitation is in DSaF and something that really bugged me about that was how similar Dave and the phoneys in general seem to be. Like i had my ass standing in front of this cork board covered in pics and red string trying to crack the code of what it was about them and i finally realized that in a way or another this all draws back to Henry.
Across all of his victims there's theme about dehumanization, loss of identity, being turned into just an object. And this made me realize how true this is especially for Dee. (Prob for Jack too but I need to talk of the girl).
She was literally stripped of all that made her her, and before she could EVEN be much of a person to begin with. She was left stuck in this Literal limbo but also a metaphorical one in which she was robbed of a chance to grow up and become a person but also forced to keep going anyway, all while inside a body that is not her own and that even got corrupted by her own grief (see: the comment about the mask having tears in the marionn ending). The fact that we know so little about her does truly add to this because how many chances would you even get to be someone and find likes and hobbies when put in this situation?
And i think these things are what reinforce the tool argument, because in more than a way she is reduced to what she can do, but in a way similar to Jack where it is only half a choice they can take, having been shoved into this very important role that they had no saying in where if they dont, who else will? And so it becomes most of what they are. The tabano is back. I wrote this post from scratch and mentioned it and now it came back it really wants to be in his post.
She is the puppet, after all. It delivers gifts, and so she does. Because when it doesn't, like she had to stop doing because the kids found this body creepy, all she can do is retreat to her box and sleep, just waiting for a chance to be useful, because she was forced to be a something and not a someone.
THIS TO THE POINT where after she was freed, after all the souls were, she ended up coming back. She left... heaven or whatever because there were still souls out there to help, and she took it as her responsability to leave the afterlife and go there, and to me that goes from selfless to worrying. Almost like a cycle not even then she'd break because she accepted this as her reality when by no means it should be.
Anyway that's my analysis of Dee Kennedy she's so fucking tragic and I deeply mourn the childhood and life she was robbed of 👍👍👍
#luly talks#dsaf#dee kennedy#dsaf dee#a tabano is a gadfly according to google btw#anyway shout out to all those fanartists who give Dee her scarf back to me that's like. so. meaningful#the last physical tie to who she used to be her little red scarf that she wore to her birthday that she probably loved#that got turned into a trophy as her body got. i dont know. i still wish whatever happened there was clear#but its like this miniscule thing that still keeps her tied to who she was#yes i'm about to cry she makes me so sad it's unreal#also yes i had a normal childhood and grew up okay why are you asking?

Grease by Pirate Theater at Cedar Creek High School in Egg Harbor City, New Jersey
By: Ricky Young-Howze
***Please read important disclaimer below***
I don’t know how it happened in twelve years of being in the theater but I have never actually seen or been in a live production of Grease: a musical with book music and lyrics by Jim Jacobs and Warren Casey. I know right! So to repent of my sins against high school theatre I strolled down to Cedar Creek High School where the students led by John Stephan are ready to hand jive their way into your hearts.
It’s basically the story you know and love from the 1978 movie but some changes that bring it back to its high school origins. Danny (Todor Penchev) and Sandy (Corrine Podolski) find out they are in the same school together after a summer fling. They soon find out that their lives at school are very different. The audience rides along as they and the rest of the students at Rydell High speed through romance woes and life hassles on their way to graduation!
Direction by John Stephan showed me what happens when a great director who really loves his kids gets a hold of a dated show. Even though Grease is a classic and has not always been a favorite of mine I find that there’s something about these kids leaning into every song and having the time of their lives that reminds me why this show is an enduring classic. You can tell that Stephan, choreographer Ashley Tabano, and conductor Jim Goodrich gave every student an opportunity to shine and you could tell the kids were having lots of fun.
Danny (played by Todor Penchev) brought something to the character I’ve never seen before. You’d think that he’d try to mimic the iconic suave Danny from days of yore. But Penchev gave us a Danny that was just one of the guys. He was good because he showed us an emotionally vulnerable character that is desperate to hide that fact from us. It gave us depth.
Sandy (played by Corrine Podolski) also gave me a Sandy that I’ve never seen before and I think that’s a good thing. We typically think of Sandy as the all Australian good girl from the movie but I see Podolski trying to give us something that defies screen tradition and is destined to take over the stage.
My supporting shoutouts go out to Kenickie (played by Tom Burgel) and Rizzo (played by Lara Guerrini). Geurrini, left me wanting even more mainly because I found her so great to watch! She had the perfect voice and look, and I could have watched her all night! Burgel fought hard to match Rizzo’s energy but gave a great performance in “Greased Lightning”.
My Background Standouts go out to Sonny (played by Jacob Alicea) and Marty played by (Samantha Brandt) Alicea was just...well...Sonny and Sonny is a real cool dude. I like that Alicea gave that extra mile and really went with his character. I really wish more of the cast in any show worked as hard as him. Brandt had a surprise silky voice and made me really notice Marty. No one ever really walks out of this show wanting to see more Sonny and Marty but I totally could have seen five more hours with them in it.
Also a special shoutout to John J. Keenan the Greater Egg Harbor Regional High School District Superintendent for making a special appearance as Teen Angel to sing “Beauty School Drop Out” What better way to give that special message I “stay in school kids”!
Also the stage design by Mr. Stephan and Mary Boner and costume designs by Grace Wilson really kick butt! You gotta go to support the kids but give the sets and costumes a round of applause too!
Grease Author Jim Jacobs is known to call this musical “bulletproof” and has never seen a production fail to please an audience. I think that’s because adults and kids alike just love performing it and have fun. Come on out tonight and have some fun with them!
Grease opens at Cedar Creek High School on March 1 at 6:30 PM and runs through March 3 which has a matinee performance at 1 PM and another at 6 PM. You can buy tickets at the door but they already have over 600 pre-sold tickets. I suggest going online to www.cchsth.booktix.com and getting your tickets there before they sell out.
***Disclaimer/Disclosure: I am a substitute teacher employed by the Greater Egg Harbor Regional High School District. However all opinions in this review are my own. No one is paying me to say nice things about them and a good review was not made a condition for employment, promotion, or a raise.***

Marked Lessons Within Our Heart
by: Joseph Lance Hilaga
It was a sunny day, everything seems so fine and everyone was extremely happy because it is our first time to train under one of the best Journalism advise namely Mylah Claire Tabano. The new team was a bit shy and seems uncomfortable with each other, but us the old staffers of the school publication were already really loud. We trained really hard to put up a good fight against the best teams within the whole Koronadal City Division. We knew that there are a lot of great Radio Broadcasting teams that will be vying to be held as the Best Radio Production but we knew that we have the voice and skills to grab that title.
“Okay we’ll start” our adviser shouted and then she gave us her instructions.I knew that from that very moment, our training would be really hard. I looked at my team and said to them “I know we can do this” everyone seemed so tensed and as an anchor, I have to cheer them up, though I was cracking nervous too. We started talking and wrote our news to be presented later that day. We were really serious and we made our news as precise yet full of informations, after 2 hours we heard a voice calling “Radio? Radio. Radio!” So we ran on to the next door where our adviser was sitting and she seem really stressed because of some of the outputs. We just smiled at her and said “Good morning again ma’am” then she replied “your production better be good. She wanted natural voice and a time worthy news, we were a bit confident though.
Our new members which are Niel, Rachel, and Ishyle were really nervous because of the bell and the old members were lightly confident because we’re kind of used to it but under different adviser so we were a bit nervous. When my partner Lhoryne, the News Anchor 2 said gracefully “sasahimpapawid in 3 2 1” it gave me all the chills and so I did my best but when I started, my voice cracked so I was scolded “ what was that? That is ugly as shit” and then everyone laughed, I just smiled because I was dead nervous.
Our reporters started reporting and our Adviser said “It’s ugly as hell” I don’t like it. We were so afraid of the sound of the bell, our new member Niel was shaking already and he stuttered so many times and got scolded so many times too. It was hell of a ride yet we really wanted to win so we tried again and then failed again, but we knew that we can be more that. We can be do better. We were scolded every time we stutter or crack our voice and it even made our new member cry. I could still picture her out crying and it makes me smile every time. It was one of the best day that has happened in me because from that day, I learned and experienced a lot.
But deep down, everyone knew that it was all gonna be worth it, that we’d do great in the contest. It became our motivation that those babble is something that would help us in our competition. Ma’am Tabano may seem like a tigress but deep down she is really soft and fun to be with, all of her staff loved her because she had helped them to become the better version of themselves. She taught us to write fair and square and accept defeat and always be thankful of everything because no matter how good we are, even we do our very best, she would always remind us that sometimes “shit happens” how she deals with us made her staff love her genuinely.

Brad Ernest Whitford (born February 23, 1952) is an #musician best known as the #rhythm #guitarist for the #hard #rock #band Aerosmith. He has also worked as a songwriter for the group, co-composing well-received tracks such as 1976’s “Last Child”.[3]
Brad Ernest Whitford graduated from Reading Memorial High School in 1970. After attending the Berklee College of Music, Whitford played in local bands Cymbals of Resistance, Teapot Dome, Earth, Inc., and finally a band called Justin Thyme before joining Aerosmith in 1971, replacing original guitarist Ray Tabano.[4][5] Aerosmith would go on to be one of the most successful bands of the 1970s. However, following a string of less successful albums in the late 1970s, Whitford left the band in 1981 to work on his own project with singer Derek St. Holmes, simply called Whitford/St. Holmes.[5] The project was dissolved after a sole self-titled album was released in 1981 (However, Whitford/St. Holmes reunited for a 2015 tour. A follow up CD titled REUNION” was sold at these shows).
Whitford briefly toured with The Joe Perry Project, featuring former Aerosmith band mate Joe Perry, before both Perry and Whitford rejoined Aerosmith in 1984.[1][2] In the mid-late 1980s, all band members completed drug rehabilitation, including Whitford, who completed programs to combat his alcohol abuse. Whitford remains sober to this day and continues to be an active force in Aerosmith.
Whitford also served as a producer for a well-known Boston band, The Neighborhoods, who were led by a rabid Aerosmith fan, David Minehan. When, in 1994, Whitford was forced to leave unexpectedly in the middle of an Asian tour due to family illness, Minehan was flown to Japan where he performed in Whitford’s place for several days until Whitford returned.
Whitford missed the start of Aerosmith’s 2009 summer tour after requiring surgery as a result of a head injury sustained while getting out of his Ferrari, joining the tour after a month.[6][7]
In 2010, Whitford was announced as one of the guitarists to take part in the Experience Hendrix tour, playing songs performed and inspired by Jimi Hendrix along with other musicians such as Joe Satriani, Sacred Steel, Jonny Lang, Eric Johnson, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Ernie Isley, Living Colour, Hubert Sumlin, Chris Layton, and bassist Billy Cox.[8]
Along with fellow Aerosmith guitarist Joe Perry, Whitford was included in the Guitar World book The 100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time in 2007.[9]
In 2013 played with Buddy Guy, Steven Tyler and Joe Perry on Evil Twin.
In November 2015, Whitford/St. Holmes Reunited for a 10 show tour.

since i was raised by alternative therapy types and then decided some of that stuff was kinda scary, netflix got me with (un)well. thoughts:
1) some people have too much disposable income and too little community support so they'll just cling to the first person that offers them any type of emotional care
2) truly anything can be a cult + leaders of these cults will wave away cases of death in a heartbeat
3) horrible health care systems breed these cults
4) loved the editing of the in depth description of the traditional practice of tantra to the other woman saying "nobody knows what tantra is"
5) the fuck with the milk?? The Fuck
6) if bee stings work then all the bitch horseflies that stung me and my cousins when we were little probably made me immortal
7) every naturopath in the western world has the same interior decorator
#TIL that tabanos are called horse flies#never saw one of those assholes on anything but people#also having seen both sides of this id say that paying attention is essential to any health provider#be it actual health or this support by way of weird weird nature stuff

Xavier Martinez Remains Undefeated With Dominating third-round TKO Over John Moralde; Andres Cortes Scores Unanimous Decision Over Jahmal Dyer
Undefeated Las Vegas prospect Angelo Leo went wire-to-wire in an impressive and dominating 10-round unanimous decision victory over Neil John Tabanao in a ShoBox: The New Generationmain event Friday night on SHOWTIME from Sam’s Town Live in Las Vegas. The scores for the 122-pound bout were 100-89, 100-90 twice, all in favor for one of Mayweather Promotions top young talents in Leo (17-0, 8 KOs), who was pushed past the eighth round for the first time in his career against the Filipino Tabanao (17-5, 11 KOs).
(Fight recap video: https://twitter.com/ShowtimeBoxing/status/1114380243387727873).
“It felt good to make my SHOWTIME debut tonight, to show my fans and the rest of the world my skills and now it’s just up from here,” Leo said. “He was a tough fighter. I’d give my performance an eight. He had a punch. I had to stay cautious in the beginning and take my time and get on the inside.” Leo averaged 80 punches thrown in the final three rounds and out-landed Tabanao 81-20 overall and 79-17 power in the same span. Leo was especially prolific going to the body as he held a 76-22 margin in body connects. “Leo is a good fighter,” Tabanao said. “I know I lost the fight. I did what I could but he was really good. I started strong but on the second half he took over. He fought very well on the inside. He’s really good at short range. He deserved the win.” Leo said he needs to work on his defense. “I need to keep it a little tighter and not leave any room for opportunities for my opponent,” he said. “I’m ready for whatever my team brings to me for my next fight. I know [Mayweather Promotions CEO] Leonard Ellerbe has my back and my best interests.” In the co-feature, Xavier Martinez (14-0, 10 KOs) of Sacramento, Calif., put on a clinic in recording a third-round TKO over John Moralde (21-3, 11 KOs) in a scheduled 10-round super featherweight bout. After dominating the first two rounds, Martinez sent Moralde to the canvas with a short left hook, Moralde quickly jumped to his feet but appeared dazed. After 20 seconds and another onslaught of punches, referee Tony Weeks had seen enough and he officially waved off the fight at 1:11 of the third round.
(Martinez knockout video: https://twitter.com/ShowtimeBoxing/status/1114365705279934464).
“I came into this fight wanting to make a statement,” Martinez said. “It's SHOWTIME and that means it’s go time. I wanted to show everybody who I am and I feel like I did that tonight. I wanted take him out early, I had that in my head and I did it.” Martinez wasted no time in getting started, he landed 58% of his power shots in the first round. He continued to outclass Moralde in the second, and the third round spelled the end for the Filipino fighter. “He kept smirking at me when we first started so I wanted to wipe that smirk off his face real quick,” Martinez said. “So it went from him smirking to him getting serious really fast. I was looking to get the knockout, but in my head I was thinking if it doesn't happen, just keep working him. But I didn’t have to. I took him out on the third.” “Martinez was the most explosive fighter tonight and showed his power,” said ShoBox analyst and boxing historian Steve Farhood. “Leo seemed the most mature of the fighters and showed the most dimensions. And by fighting 10 rounds we got to see what he could do, and he seems to be the furthest along of the fighters we saw tonight.” In the telecast opener, 21-year-old Las Vegas prospect Andres Cortes (11-0, 6 KOs) scored a unanimous decision over Baltimore’s Jahmal Dyer (9-2, 5 KOs) in an eight-round super featherweight bout, despite Dyer sending Cortes to the canvas after a flash knockdown in the fourth round. The scores were 78-73, 79-73, 78-74.
(Fight video recap: https://twitter.com/ShowtimeBoxing/status/1114359745668878336).
After a slow-paced first round, Cortes took control of the fight with his superior volume and accuracy. He suffered the first knockdown in his career in the fourth with 40 seconds remaining in the round, but he quickly rebounded and managed to outland Dyer 29-9 in total punches and 20-5 on power punches.
(Dyer knockdown: https://twitter.com/ShowtimeBoxing/status/1114354788899147777).
“The knockdown didn't affect my performance at all,” said Cortes, who was fighting for the sixth time at Sam’s Town Live. “I was off balance but as you saw, I was able to come back and almost knocked him out. I got too greedy and felt like I was coming off too strong. He was a good opponent, so it was my mistake. I give my performance tonight a 6, I didn't like it at all. I feel like I could've done a lot better but it's okay.” Dyer, who had a seven and a half-inch reach advantage, said he didn’t feel like he won the fight. “He just outperformed me,” he said. “I could have thrown more punches. IN the fourth, we were both exchanging and I just happened to catch him with a good shot.” Cortes said he was looking for the knockout the entire fight and his defense could have been better. “I should have kept my distance a little more and that would have made the fight a little easier. I'll be back soon and do a lot better,” he added. Dyer said he’s back in the gym after a few days off and plans to fight again on May 4. Neither fighter had been past the sixth round before tonight. Friday’s fights were promoted by Mayweather Promotions. The full telecast will replay on Monday, April 8 at 10 p.m. ET/PT on SHOWTIME EXTREME and will be available on SHOWTIME ANYTIME® and SHOWTIME on DEMAND®. Barry Tompkins called the action from ringside with boxing historian Farhood and former world champion Raul Marquez serving as expert analysts. The executive producer was Gordon Hall with Richard Gaughan producing and Chuck McKean directing.

Cancers, Vol. 11, Pages 58: Constitutive BRCA1 Promoter Hypermethylation Can Be a Predisposing Event in Isolated Early-Onset Breast Cancer
Cancers, Vol. 11, Pages 58: Constitutive BRCA1 Promoter Hypermethylation Can Be a Predisposing Event in Isolated Early-Onset Breast Cancer

Early age at onset of breast cancer (eoBC) is suggestive of an increased genetic risk. Although genetic testing is offered to all eoBC-affected women, in isolated cases the detection rate of pathogenic variants is <10%. This study aimed at assessing the role of constitutive promoter methylation at BC-associated loci as an underlying predisposing event in women with eoBC and negative family history. Promoter methylation at 12 loci was assessed by the MassARRAY technology in blood from 154 BRCA1/2 negative patients with eoBC and negative family history, and 60 healthy controls. Hypermethylation was determined, within each promoter, by comparing the patient’s mean methylation value with thresholds based on one-sided 95% bootstrap confidence interval of the controls’ mean. Three patients had hypermethylated results, two at BRCA1 and one at RAD51C. Analyses on tumor tissue from the patient exceeding the highest threshold at BRCA1 revealed a mean methylation >60% and loss of heterozygosity at chromosome 17q. The patient hypermethylated at RAD51C showed low methylation in the tumor sample, ruling out a role for methylation-induced silencing in tumor development. In isolated eoBC patients, BRCA1 constitutive promoter methylation may be a predisposing event. Further studies are required to define the impact of methylation changes occurring at BC-predisposing genes and their role in tumorigenesis.

Aerosmith 50th Anniversary Tour Plans Revealed
The dates for the 50th anniversary Tour by Aerosmith has been revealed. The tour starts from the 6th April 2019 at Park Theater at Park MGM, Las Vegas, Nevada and lasts up to 9th July 2019.
The Cheapest Aerosmith Tickets can be bought at Ticket2Concert. And if you are lucky enough you can snag up some Aerosmith Tickets Discount Coupon too.
Aerosmith has been the most loved and anticipated Rock Bands for years. Their music features different genres of rock including pop and heavy metal. The guitarist Joe Perry and Bassist Tom Hamilton knew each other through a band called Jam Band. They met up with Vocalist Steven Tyler, Drummer Joey Kramer, and Guitarist Ray Tabano, who was later replaced by Brad Whitford and formed the band Aerosmith.
Aerosmith has sold more than 150 million albums all around the world including 70 of them in the USA alone. The band scored 21 in Billboard’s Top 40. They have received 4 Grammy Awards, 6 American Music Awards, and 10 MTV Video Music Awards. Plus they have been included in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame back in 2001. And have also appeared in the Rolling Stone’s and VH1’s list of 100 greatest artists.
Perry told Atlantic City weekly back in April that they’ll be doing some festivals maybe for about six or eight months and then it’s their 50th anniversary which they’ll be celebrating with a tour for which they were at that time discussing dates.
Laying low is pretty much what they've been doing this past year. Starting from the frontman Steven Tyler who has spent most of the year touring for his solo album “We’re All Somebody from Somewhere”
On the other hand, Perry released his latest solo album “Switzerland Manifesto” this January. As for now, he had some solo concerts lined up plus a solo band tour which included frontman from ‘Extreme,’ Gary Cherone and the fellow guitarist from Aerosmith, Brad Whitford.
Perry has also discussed releasing a new album with Steve and says that is excited to write for Aerosmith. And according to another report the band did some recording last year in London.
Everyone is anticipating their 50th Anniversary Tour scheduled for April 2019. And if you are one of those people I've got some good news for you. You can now get Discount Aerosmith Concert Tickets from Ticket2Concert.com.

Aerosmith's old tour van discovered in Massachusetts forest
http://www.internetunleashed.co.uk/?p=36708 Aerosmith's old tour van discovered in Massachusetts forest - http://www.internetunleashed.co.uk/?p=36708 If you go down to the woods today... A dilapidated van used by rock legends Aerosmith has been found during the filming of a US antiques programme, American Pickers. Hosts Frank Fritz and Mike Wolfe stumbled upon the 1964 American Harvester Metro van for a recent episode of the History Channel reality show. According to Boston.com, the van’s authenticity was confirmed by former Aerosmith member, Ray Tabano. Tabano was the band’s original rhythm guitarist, who left the group after one year. The rusty vehicle was found behind a farm in Chesterfield, Massachusetts. The town is located just over a 100 miles west of Aerosmith’s home base of Boston. Tabano, who was in the band from 1970 to 1972 before working for the group in later years, said the van was like a “rolling hotel”. “I’m afraid to say how long it is, but it’s been, like, 40 years since we’ve been in this thing,” he told the programme. “We’d drive from Boston up to New Hampshire for $125 [per gig]. Then after the gas, the tolls, and the food and back, we’d all make like $3 apiece.” In the episode, which aired on July 30, Wolfe reached out to a friend, The Black Keys‘ Dan Auerbach, who then sent photos of the van to Aerosmith guitarist Joe Perry. It’s not known how the van ended up abandoned in the forest but the owner of the property where it was located said the vehicle was there when he bought the land from someone who was supposedly connected with Aerosmith. American Pickers paid Phil, the property owner, $25,000 for the van, with Wolfe calling it “one of the biggest and most iconic pieces of rock and roll history.” Source link

The Addams Family Musical by Pirate Theatre at Cedar Creek High in Eggharbor City, NJ
By Ricky Young-Howze It was grim, dark, and dank in the Cedar Creek High School performing arts center last night. But don't worry it was just the drama club’s brilliant performance of The Addams Family a musical comedy with book by Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice and music and lyrics by Andrew Lippa. This spooktacular production directed by John Stephan brings you a family of young actors that's creepy and kooky hilarious and spooky and altogether awesome. They made the timeless characters from the mind of Charles Addams rise again. . Gomez Addams’ (Corey Critelli) little daughter is all grown up and wanting to get married. Wednesday (Corinne Podolski) has asked that he keep his engagement to his normal fiancé, Lucas (Todor Penchev), a secret from Morticia (Vanessa Matos). Add Lucas’s plain Jane parents (Jack Hall and Caitlyn Fee) into the mix of the Addams household and you have a whimsical recipe for disaster. And let’s not forget her brother, Pugsley (Cody Tittermary) who is desperate to bring his sister back to him. He has a true uncertain terror at the prospect of never being tortured by Wednesday again. His comic diabolical scheme with Grandma (Natalie Reyes) to break-up his sister and her new boyfriend is devious and dark and you'd never expect anything less of him. Grandma is a fast talking straight shooting matron with a mouth full of sass and a wagon full of potions. You'd expect nothing less from her but side splitting snark. Add to that the constant comedy of Uncle Fester (Matt Sult) who serves as the go-between: between ancestors and family and audience and actors. His narration is full of one liners to keep you rolling in the aisles. His romantic love affair with the moon keeps your spirits lighter than air. And let's not forget Lurch (Jacob Alicea), the family butler. Slow but steady this tall, dark, and gruesome giant quickly finds a warm spot in your heart. But what would a musical about the Addams Family be without Gomez and Morticia? Talk about relationship goals! Their fiery passion was made to outlast everything? But will it outlast a tiny white lie Gomez tells to avoid hurting the two most important women in his life? John Stephan’s direction of this musical emphasized the family and how they play off of each other. The Addamses swim in drama like the monster swims in Loch Ness. Watch any scene between our family and you're laughing at the jokes coming at you a mile a minute. Look at the “Full Disclosure” scene and you can tell that he spent time on these characters with the kids and he loved the play that he was working on. I did feel, however, that there were a lot of “ancestors” in the chorus that didn't get their chance to shine in the action. Where I saw comedy in the main cast I saw ancestors standing around and I feel that I'd love to see him incorporate the chorus more in future productions. I felt the ensemble did get to shine in the dance numbers from the creative mind of Ashley Tabano as the choreographer. Her choreography filled the stage and got everyone up and moving. Like in “Around the Corner” where Morticia is joined by a chorus line of ancestors in a rollicking toe tapper. But she also played up the intimacy in numbers like “Tango Amor”. She crafted a dance for Morticia and Gomez that was passionate yet clean. Elaborate but easy to follow. This is another school where I see teenagers doing lifts that I have seen baffle adults and I'm really jealous! I would love to see more choreography from Tabano in the future. Mary Boner is scenic designer. She built the set with the help of Wayne Wriggins and Tom Kiesing. My favorite piece was the big gate in the opening number. I love that the set was simple and classic. There is a big temptation to go over the top in these kinds of things and I'm glad that her work got to stay on stage a lot and stand out. James Goodrich’s musical direction was spectacular! He brings a fifteen piece band to the show that brings their A game and rocks the joint. In numbers like “Pulled in a Different Direction”, “Love” and the Opening number you can really feel the band put their full weight behind the performers and blow us away. However there were other times where I felt myself straining to hear the singers over the music. That's obviously a microphone problem and not his fault but it is a shame some singers were overpowered. But don't worry mic problems are very common gremlins on opening night. I'm sure that they were fixed immediately so that they won't happen in future performances! All of the cast was just amazing and I was really wowed by their commitment to the characters. Critelli and Matos played a wonderful Gomez and Morticia. Again I'm jealous that their Tango game is so on point at their age! I really think that Corinne Podolski’s voice is the real reason two of these songs are stuck in my head. Cody Tittermary’s Pugsley was so wrong which means he was just right! And who can't love Matt Sult’s commitment to comedy with Fester! Shout out to Jack Hall, Caitlyn Fee, and Todor Penchev for making “normal” look creepy as the Beineke’s. Straight laced never looked so scary! Two supporting standouts from last night’s performance is Natalie Reyes and Jacob Alicea. Reyes’ Grandmother was just so funny and I know she really put her heart into it. And here’s to Jacob who came out from doing backstage work to walk on platform shoes to play such an awesome part! Give them some extra applause! And here's to Makayla Baggstrom, Taylor Blaisdell, Thomas Burger, Annalise Catherine, Jose De La Cruz, Sydnie Decamp, Madison Davila, Kayla Dyer, Jennin Fleming, Deana Flores, Elizabeth Glass, Gracie Harris, Brandon Henry, Rebekah Hillard, Alex Lacherre, Gabriella Martinez, Alexis Mathis, Kira Murdock, Madelyn Pamientieri, Tara Petrosh, Sophia Romano, Madison Torres, Julia Train, and Grace Wilson. You guys danced and sang your hearts out and there wouldn't have been a show without you wacky guys! So get out and get onstage for the next show! I definitely want to see all of you again! The Addams Family Is a non-stop roller coaster ride of enjoyment. You definitely have to go see it! The Addams Family opened on Thursday March 2 at 6:30 PM and plays through March 4 at the Cedar Creek High School Performing Arts Center. You can get tickets on book-tix.com.

Joseph Lance Hilaga’s Diary
January 13, 2020
Hello friend! You seem more trustworthy than most of my human friends. It was just another meh day, it was nothing special. At first, I thought it would be a great day because things started well and everything seems so fresh but I was so stressed out because of the academic requirements and my job as SSG officer was too heavy for me to do altogether, yet I have to do it because I have dreams and people to serve. My day went the usual, and ended up as another boring day. As I went home my dogs were waiting for me I’m the one whose feeding them every day. I went outside and fed them, and while feeding them I thought of our previous Regional Schools Press Conference and it still hurts because I think we deserve the spot, it’s just that our microphone sucked and as what ma’am Tabano said, Shit happens. Still I am thankful that me and my family are healthy.
January 14, 2020
Hey! It was an awesome day! Though I did not got that high score at my CNF, I still feel blessed and happy because my parents went home and they brought my favorite foods! They bought Pizza, Lasagna and Fries and we just watched Netflix for the rest of the day. During dinner, we had grilled pork and tilapia. Everything just seems so happy because I forgot about my academic requirements even just for a while. My parents are usually very busy yet they spared some of their time for us. It was Tuesday yet it felt like Sunday.
January 15, 2020
Uhm Hi. It’s me again so there’s another day that I might just add to my boring days. After school, I just went home and played with my Dogs and played 90’s hit, it brought back memories. I just did the assigned house chores and opened my social media accounts and yep, the usual…Fake News, Stupidity and Memes was the things I saw. I’m really into movies so I opened Netflix, scanned if I’d be interested with the movies and I saw the movie fifty first dates again, so I rewatched it and it was still beautiful. My parents weren’t around so it was just me, my brother and my cousins. I prayed for the safety of my family and asked for genuine happiness for the next coming days.
January 16,2020
It’s Thursday and my parents were already home, and they came home late but they bought us food again, Jollibee to be specific. I don’t know but I think they want me to be more fat but meh, I was still hungry so yep I ate again hahaha. This was an almost meh day but since they bought home foods, It kinda made my day better. I went to bed after doing my Memoir and Personal Narrative and it was tiring, Like real shit I almost fell asleep doing it, but I managed to finish my work so I thought I deserve to watch at least a single episode of Money Heist. I thought I’ll just watch a single episode but I ended up watching almost the whole season. So I just wrote this just to tell you my non-existential friend that I’d be fucked up tomorrow. Pray for me dear friend haha.
January 17, 2020
Hey! It’s friYey! We had our swimming class, and guess what? I finished the task! I wasn’t expecting it because I really don’t know how to swim but my grades were in the lines so I had to do it. The day went smooth and everything was okay (I guess) but yeah, I was really happy because I learnt how to swim! I may not be as good as everyone else but it already was a great achievement for me because even before, I really hoped that I could swim with my friends since every time we come visit resorts I just enjoyed watching them but, I can now swim with them. I went home with painful limbs because of the thorough swimming, but it was okay. Who cares? I can already swim! I’m gonna sleep early now cause I’m tired, like really tired. Bye for now good friend!
January 18, 2020
Hello again non-existent friend! It was an awesome day! We went to see my cousins at General Santos City and had some quality time. We visited SM and bought cute stuffed toys just for nothing, we just liked it haha. I went and visited my favorite store, and guess which store is it? It’s Guess. Meh. That wasn’t funny at all though it was a nonsense joke. We ate again at Tong Yang and we ate so much, the thought already made me hungry. Our parents weren’t with us, so we were wild as the bears so we went everywhere and bought things that weren’t that useful. We walked ate and of course we would never miss Starbucks every time we come and visit any SM or any place that has Starbucks because it’s our all time favorite. Oh! I forgot Chat Time is also one of our faves. Speaking of, Chat Time is yet to open at KCC mall so yep, my pockets will be full of air soon.
January 19, 2020
It’s Sunday non-existent friend, have you went to church? Hahahah just kidding, I don’t think you have your religion cause you doesn’t even exist. Lol. So here ya go, we went to church and prayed, glorified God and asked for our heart’s desire. After that we went and ate at Chowking and got ourselves some Lemon Juice drinks and afterwards, we went home. I cleaned the room of my parents and to my surprise, they randomly gave me a Santa Barbara wallet and a Birkenstock sandals and it really made me smile. I know that you might think I’m spoiled but I really am not, it’s just like my patents way of expressing their love for me, and my brother. I am thankful of my parents because they gave us things even though we don’t deserve it and for that, I am eternally grateful. Thanks for everything dear friend, because thought you don’t exist, I could still share my stories with you.
