i started this blog for elizabeth march back in october of 2015 and never thought i'd still be writing her in 2023... how did i get here??? tbh it's because of all of YOU. i wouldn't still be around if you guys didn't write with me, talk to me, interact with me, etc. i thank you all so much, and i wanted to sort of further that level of 'thank you' by doing a fun giveaway of sorts! this sorta thing used to be all the buzz back in my day ( lol ), and i miss seeing them on my dash! there will be 3 giveaway winners, and the prizes are pretty badass. i appreciate you all so much, and i want you to know that. i mean it so very deeply and so very truly, so let me love you!

Imagine little Leo having trouble sleeping so he ends up watching tv and movies with Splinter to pass the time. Splinter often just passes out in his chair, but Leo likes the company anyway.

One day, Leo’s rifling through the movies his dad brought back for them (usually 70s and 80s stuff - Splinter has a bias) and he gasps.

Leo runs over to Splinter and holds up a copy of The Last Unicorn, begging that they watch it that night.

Splinter remembers absolutely nothing about the movie, but hey it’s got a unicorn and it’s animated so it’s gotta be fine, right? So he turns the movie on and passes out near immediately.

He’s woken up roughly an hour and a half later by Leo climbing up onto his chair and sobbing hysterically into his chest.

The movie is now one of Leo’s favorites.

Okay, this was probably already said before and I might be slow in this uptake but don't you think that Annabeth's fear of Percy controlling poison in HoH is less because she fears him using that against Akhlys or against her or anyone, but more on that she was getting flashbacks of Luke as Kronos and how the same kind of anger and unlimited power lead him to betray his family and leave her behind?

I think to see that same thing that happened to Luke happen to someone she loved as much as Percy was what triggered her. Cause she's already seen Percy harness so much power before, probably had the front seat to most of his feats. But seeing the same anger as Luke's - which Percy already admitted to having understood in MoA - and having been presented power great enough to allow him to get revenge was probably the combination that threw her off like... that's not Percy. If he continues to that same path she's gonna lose him, like she did her older brother.

movie shadow triggers an instinct i always knew i had but ignore. i think it's called maternal instinct. i want that sopping wet cat of a three apples tall hedgehog tucked in a warm soft bed and a mug of hot cocoa (or coffee if he wants) in a nice spacey room that is his and his to decorate as he pleases.

maybe sonic can drop by to piss him off. or knuckles to spar and eat snacks. or tails to talk about his inventions. or maddie to talk through his anxieties. or tom to invite him fishing. or sonic to challenge him to races. or sonic sitting him down to watch john wick. or sonic teasing his highlights. or sonic-

I still can’t believe marvel had Steve tell Natasha he could only really see himself with someone with ‘shared life experience’ (5 seconds after they literally kissed) and then had the two of them practically glued together for literal years (in this movie and in every other movie after it), only to not even seem to consider them as a potential couple/love story
