The bells of Notre Dame tolled in Paris on Friday for the first time since the 2019 fire that threatened to destroy the Parisian landmark.

At the time of the fire, French President Emmanuel Macron vowed to rebuild the iconic, 861-year-old structure within five years.

"Five years ago, a promise: to rebuild Notre-Dame Cathedral together," Macron said on X Friday. "Today, its bells are finally ringing thanks to the extraordinary work of so many of you."

2024 art summary!!!!

man what a year. 2024 was a very hard year for me (im sure if you follow me you already know that lol) but all things considered, i'm satisfied with how it went. i made a lot of friends and gained quite a few new skills, started my first job, finished my first year of college, and finally started taking care of myself. i got into sooo many things this year, but im esp grateful for my friends for reigniting my love of petscop and watching the whole series with me. ive made a lot of good memories w them, and im so happy to have them in my life.

aside from that, i think i've made significant improvements in my art throughout this year! i finally feel like im getting a hang of the way i want to draw. seeing all of this years art together in one spot definitely puts it into perspective just how much i drew this year, as well. i wish i could include the animatics i worked on, but oh well.
