He (Rob McElhenney&Co.) can’t keep getting away with this (making silly seeming adult sitcoms that unexpectedly make me feel too many emotions and a staggering appreciation for the medium of television and what it can accomplish with character storytelling through a mix of comedy and tragedy and just letting people be flawed in such a way it hurts because it’s unpolished and silly and allowed to be real.)
