Big fan of cackletta. Really big fan. also big fan of her being related to peasley because OF COURSE I AM.

Between her being queen beans ex or her younger sister, im not sure which one i like more (leaning more towards the former). Both scenarios are really interesting and, of course, they both make her related to peasley. Either by blood or by adoption (or still blood, depending on ur hcs)

Anyways a big part of peasleys rather straightforward character is that despite everything (his ego and his tendency to get wrapped up in Situations), his hearts in the right place. He does genuinely care about his kingdom and its people. So being (in)directly related to someone who BOMBED it multiple times and is just generally very wicked and vile would probably freak him out at least a little bit. I meannn he knows his way around explosives himself.... what if something pushed him to go down the same path yknow?

But honestly i dont think he would be CONSTANTLY worrying about it, like hes got Bigger Fish To Fry and he knows hes a good person at the end of the day. but.... what if.

hey so, i wanted to put it out there: if there's someone who you know is a minor, they're lying about their age or whatever it is and i'm interacting with them - don't hesitate to inform me, please.

i think i do a good job spotting minors who break my rules and follow anyway but i will not consider it drama if you're informing me of someone underage and lying to me about their age. if you're trying to police like "did you know a did x, y and z" then we'd have some awkward shit but. if it's a minor. that's different.

i understand not wanting to come off as controlling/as if you're trying to start something but if you're coming from a place of good intent and wanna inform me of a minor or if i did something, a misstep, that's cool! friends holding accountability is a refreshing chapter, i trust we will get through stuff together.

Just thinking about how heartbroken Reyna must have truly been when Jason came back to Camp Jupiter and barely remembered her.

Because she met Percy, she does know that even when Juno takes your memories away, if you truly truly love and care and need another person you will be able to remember her, even if not entirely perfectly, but the memory will be there with you the whole way. Like the memory of Annabeth was with Percy.

And then Reyna sees Jason arrive with Piper, and it's okay really, it doesn't even hurt that much, she's Praetor, she has got a job to do, she cannot be getting distracted with silly little sentimental things like that.

And, okay, sure, Reyna can say, maybe Jason and her weren't that close in that sense, it's okay, but they were still good friends, co-leaders of a grand city, he still mattered a lot to her.

And same thing right, Percy did remember Nico, not that vividly or anything, but he did immediately know Nico and him knew each other from somewhere before, because The Ambassador was important to him, in a different way but still, important to Percy.

And then, Jason tells her that he didn't remember her at all, no name, no blurry face, no dreams, no voice, no vague sense that he was missing somebody from somewhere.

That he only started sorta remembering her days after he had already finished his quest, for his new patron goddess, and his new friends, at his new camp, in his new life, with his new girlfriend.

But it's fine, really, Reyna is mature, she doesn't let little things bring her down. She's roman, truly roman, daughter of a fully only Roman Goddess. She's Praetor, she's strong, she will welcome these strange Greek people into her city and throw a feast in their honour, she won't even be salty or rude about it. Really, Reyna is fine, it doesn't even hurt.

I wanted to try actually doodling some nagaria fun that I thought bout while drawing her but I got hit with a post drawing fatigue in which I'd need [number here] days' time to recover from. So I just stopped here instead. I actually have sona fun facts for the other two versions that I wanna doodle but never got around to. Maybe I can do that this year! Even if poorly drawn.

not to be really mean but you guys have to understand that no character perception will ever be the be-all-end-all to anything and that no matter how well characterized you perceive it to be . people can and will perceive traits and experiences in fiction and incorporate their own traits, experiences, and views onto it regardless of how it opposes your views because that is the entire point! you can't claim that x thing is the only opinion allowed on x character because that erases one of the primary points of fiction: to allow the reader, player, consumer to see it from their own eyes. i don't know. maybe you guys consume too much characterized media that you forget you can't claim one opinion to be absolute and chuck that down everyone's throats. this doesn't mean you can't enjoy your opinions or you can't have fun with people you agree or that you can't curate your experience by blocking every person who doesn't.

im just saying characters will always be abstract and left to the perception of the beholder, and despising the fact that others can have an opinion aside from yours is just a shitty thing to do, whether fandom-wise or anything. in short, i wish you all would consume an abstract media every once in a while. something that cares more about moving the plot then solidifying its characters, something that cements you into the idea that there can and will be continuous differences between how you see this person from your eyes and how others see it from theirs. take a walk. touch grass. feel the air.

It just tickles me a little that there was not a single mention of the nightmare air quality from the forest fires here in canada that was so bad for days on end my city's air quality was like the worst in the world. But now that it has dipped down past our border into the u.s its like this huge important deal, people are posting diy air filters and stuff making, stay safe posts. No one really seems to care about the people affected by the fires or the destruction of the ecosystems. Like obviously i want americans to not inhale awful smoke as much as i did not want to inhale awful smoke but its just funny to me in a sad way that its just now getting any sort of attention.
