Or to go to the woman who ordered the death of your pet to tell her about your father's plans, when he specifically warned you against doing so, because you want to marry the boy you saw attack your sister and her friend (contributing partially to said father's death and your sister being unable to escape on the ship he chartered). Or to think of your sibling as unsatisfactory in comparison to another when you believe her to be dead. I notice that none of the "Sansa and Arya are going to reunite and instantly have no issues" crowd ever acknowledge any of this, which makes it seem like they don't actually believe what they say about their relationship being normal and easily reconciled. People wanting them to have no issues simply because they're siblings is another example of how fandom likes to flatten complex characters and relationships. They get reduced to being bickering siblings when their conflict runs deeper than that. If the author is telling you that they have "deep issues" to work out [X], I don't understand being so adamant about ignoring said issues. I also get the sense it's about ignoring the capacity for a certain character to be flawed, but that isn't going to change the fact that her "slip of the tongue" is very likely to be revealed and a source of further conflict 🤷🏾‍♀️

Zack is so fun as a character bc when it comes to his relationships, whether the nature is romantic or platonic it still works. The chemistry is so fire, the feelings of love and care are sincere. Zack loves the people in his life, the people loves him back. Whether they're similar to him in personality or complete opposites — it still hits off. Zack and Aerith? The OG, first love forreal. Zack and Cloud? The loyalty, the dedication. Zack and Cissnei? Genuine appreciation and trust. Zack and Sephiroth? Treated each other like actual people. Zack and Tseng? The extra mile, the exception. You genuinely can't lose when it comes to shipping with this guy

Looking at the normal ryuseitai poll and results of the final poll, I'm so surprised that there are people who think that Midori is normal. It's funny. I'm sorry, Midori? Midori takamine? You put that guy in the same room with yuzuru and a bunch of plushies and he will explode. Midori who tried petting a koala and got scratched by it and his response is "Hehe I don't mind getting scratched by such a cute creature~"

Also he keeps vegetables on him. Vegetables in his pockets, how? I don't know either, but that's not a thing normal people do. He gives them out as thanks/as an apology, and people think he's normal? i also want to bring up the fact that midori starts sulking when tetora is on friendly terms with other characters. when he saw tetora talking to jun he said something along the lines of like i can't believe tetora is abandoning me for extroverts! it's not that weird and very teenager of him to behave like this, but it's just really funny on top of all of what you said

If you think Knives was right, you are wrong.

There's literally nothing just or fair or useful in what he does. If you think his plan is truly to save the Plants you did not get him.

He hurts plants just as bad as humans. If anything, I think he's worst than them. Because humans needs them and don't understand them, that's why they do it.

Knives uses them for his own benefits, fuses with them, disregards their opinions. He understands them and doesn't need them but he still hurts them. He's literally the sole reason humans even have to treat them this way, to overwork them to the bone on NML.

It was never about saving the butterfly, it was always about killing the spider out of fear. Even if that means crushing the butterfly who gets in the way.

i noticed someting funny when put into perspective so i thought i'd share

so these are the old emperors and who came after them:

WB -> BB

Kaidou -> Luffy

Big Mom (??) -> Buggy (??)

(Shanks = Shanks)

Then you realize BB killed WB and replaced him, Luffy defeated Kaidou and replaced him...

Meanwhile Buggy got Big Mom's emperor seat even though it was Law and Kid who defeated her.

It's funny when u think about it bc Big Mom wouldn't have come to Wano and ally with Kaidou if Luffy hadn't angered her by messing with her tea party to get Sanji back.

So, in a way, Law and Kid cleaned up Luffy's mess (while he dealt with the main objective aka Kaidou) by taking down Big Mom (an Emperor), and who took that spot in the world? Fucking Buggy The Fucking Clown.

Law and Kid lowkey both lost to Buggy who profited off of their hard-earned win over an unexpected powerhouse who should not (and would not) have been present if it weren't for Luffy's antics :/

on some level im definitely a little resentful that I can't enjoy astarion in wider casual spaces without it being labeled as some sort of "oh you're one of those astarion girlies obsessed with that fuckable twink" thing, like it's the shallowest preference i could possibly have

and it's such a frustrating mindset especially considering the whole reason I ended up identifying with him so much is because of the way his character arc addressed the concept of being seen as desirable after a traumatic event, and finding comfort in actually reclaiming that for yourself. And how seeking and enjoying sex and feeling sexually confident doesn't cheapen or invalidate what happened to you, and can actually be very healing

But I just hate how that always gets broken down into something insulting and derogatory by the kind of ppl you'll see on twitter or reddit or irl
