one of the most amusing things I've found is reading a fic and knowing the author is someone who thinks their fave isn't allowed to be problematic by the way they write arguments

because being irrational and angry aren't allowed in their base forms, so the conflict usually involves a character doing and saying all the irrational and angry things but with a constant inner dialogue about how they know they're being unreasonable, they know they're hurting someone else, and they just can't stop themselves from saying these cruel things that they definitely don't believe!! and to top it off, immediate guilt and regret when the argument is over

like. being angry and irrational are normal, human things? we all do it? we all prioritise our own feelings and stress and anger over other people's sometimes? coming home from a bad day at work and getting legitimately upset that the dishes haven't been done or whatever is a real life thing people experience, and it's okay? sometimes when you argue you think you're arguing about one thing and in actually you wanna bring up that thing from 5 years ago that you weren't as over as you thought! the whole point of that kind of thing is how you handle the conflict resolution and apologise and whatnot, but also! sometimes people just let it lie! sometimes things aren't resolved! people aren't perfect and your characters aren't either and you can let your characters argue with each other!!!

Maybe it’s because this is the only active fandom I’ve really ever been in and there is a bunch to be discussed but damn all the arguing is making this shit no fun anymore. I dipped into it and I agree with some things but man the overanalyzing of everything makes me not wanna be a part of any of this. I know there’s serious stuff in the books and topics need to be handled better or discussed but can’t we all be silly even a little bit? And NOT “silly” as in let’s all make weird sex hc and have all the characters hump each others. Idk man but I am not having fun 😭🙏

All this and that about Megumi dying at the hands of Gojo in this fight or not being cared for has me more and more convinced there's absolutely plans for him to be saved. Gojo has death flags (or likeliest-to-be-taken-out-of-this-fight flags), so Sukuna as Megumi isn't going to be defeated that easily. Gojo may or may not be bluffing about mourning Megumi after killing Sukuna. But either way, Kashimo has been wanting to fight Sukuna and Yuuji has Yuki's journal, seemingly a soul swapping cursed technique, and trained with Kasukabe, so there's more coming to this fight that they have been knowingly planning for.

We may not know everything Gojo is actually thinking, but I have complete faith in Yuuji's determination to save Megumi and I can't see a plan not being made to kill Sukuna AND save Megumi. Whether or not that's successful remains to be seen. There's no way Yuuji was training a soul swapping technique just for fighting Kenjaku. Yes, absolutely he could die lol but there’s no way yuuji isn't going to try to save him if there’s even the smallest chance of it working—If there’s anyone in this series who would do everything to save the other, its Yuuji and Megumi for each other.
