camping the night
the drover x gn!reader
Tumblr media
notes: so guys like WHY ISNT THERE ANY FAN FICS ABOUT THE DROVER??? I SEARCHED BOTH AO3 AND TUMBLR IM SO MAD. i feel like thanos “fine. i’ll do it myself 🗿” type shit. i'm also writing this while im watching the jimmy kimmel interview with hugh and ryan- you can tell im obsessed
warnings: the scene of him bathing only i’m gonna rewrite it sorta?, the sexual tension omfg, hugh jackman (he’s a warning in and of itself in the good way) im not even going to try to attempt to use over the top australian slang since i am NOT australian myself and i do not want to get anything wrong
-
“aight, let’s rest up here for the night.” the drover said as you two approached a large tree. it was a frequent spot to stop at on long trips like these to the city.
you followed him, leaving the small group of cattle to graze the little amounts of grass that was around. hopping off your own horse, you hitched him on the tree.
“let’s see about starting a fire- wake up early tomorrow to get a head start.” the drover unpacked his things. you had been accustomed to this life ever since you were a child. your father—joined the war, died. your mother, gotten sick from TB, died. so, this life adopted you instead of the other way round.
luckily, you met the drover at the local bar. who helped you pick your life up and start new—start fresh. he saw your skills on horseback- knew how to herd cattle from your father before he went off to war. you had many skills, as one does, but droving was your strongest.
“hey.” he snapped his fingers in front of your face, which brought you out of your thoughts. “quit horsin’ around. start collecting firewood yeah?" he ordered. "alright- quit your shouting." you protested, "i don't want to hear it, just get to work."
-
time passed and night fell quickly. you two spent the night chatting, sharing a meal and everything in between. you always enjoyed the moments you and him had together--small or big. from then on, your feelings for him only grew. which wasn't a surprise. he was caring in his own way- always looked out for the people around him.
you were in your own thoughts watching the cattle--making sure they don't wander off. leaning against the tree while sitting on the floor, barely keeping awake.
you yawned, turning back to the camp to check on drover--you found him bathing. this usually doesn't happen. you've seen him shirtless countless times but nothing like this.
you quickly looked away--leaning back against the large tree. thinking to yourself and processing the sight before you. from what you saw at the sudden glance--he was lathered in the soap, chest to hips. you couldn't help yourself and peeked again, this time you watched each and every little detail.
he picked up a bucket of water he filled earlier--tipping it over his head and letting it pour over his body. you couldn't look away this time. it was like you were forced to watch every second and you didn't mind at all. you barely noticed the heavy breathing coming from your mouth.
the drover turned around but before he could see you taking a peek you returned to your position sitting against the tree. then, footsteps started approaching you, “oh crikey…” you sighed.
the drover was leaning against the tree using his arm, he looked down at you. “you rest, i’ll watch em” he said in a low voice. you looked up and was greeted by his dripping wet frame.
the water soaked the top of his pants, you watched as droplets were still trickling down his chest and over his abs. you were in your own world and you didn’t hear anything he said.
but of course, he noticed. “oi. what’s wrong- ya burnin up?” kneeling down, he held his hand to your forehead—likely because he saw how red you turned in the face. he was so close you could barely function properly.
“i- uh-“ stuttering only escaped your mouth, you needed space. the mere proximity of him overwhelms you. “no- i’m just…” you stood up and he did the same. you were face to face with him again—your plan to distance yourself for air was futile.
you felt his breath on your face, his own body heat adding to your own. “i’m just tired.” avoiding his eye contact, he held your chin, gently forcing you to look at him. “i’m sure it’s more than that.” he said softly, he placed his hands on your exposed arms, the drover felt how the rest of your body was affected by him.
“need a bath of your own to cool down, hm?”

broken trust. [part 3] l Joel Miller
Tumblr media
Summary:  you used to be very close, but he broke your heart, now your paths have crossed again
Warnings:  +18, smut, angst, swearing, unprotected sex (don't do that), guns, blood, infected, Ellie and Tommy appears
A/N: I don't know how many parts this story will have, I suspect maybe two more. I didn't expect anyone to like it anyway. I'm grateful for your feedback though, it means a lot to me. a few people mentioned tagging - @vickie544 @dreamtofus @missladym1981 🖤
[PART 2]
You were gone.
Joel had no idea how hard this would be for him. He was starting to feel strangely familiar feelings, but he didn't want to name them and he definitely didn't want to think about them.
His body was playing stupid jokes on him. He would wake up at night feeling like you were still lying right next to him, or that he would soon feel your arms as you snuggled up to his back. He would look up at every significant sound on the staircase and sometimes he would feel like he heard your voice in the crowd of people.
But it wasn't you. You hadn't been in QZ for a long time.
Joel knew he had made a mistake. You had told him many times that he was obsessed with control, but he had explained it to himself only by the fact that he had already lost so much - he didn't want to lose you too. Only your absence made him realize what he really felt for you. Because if it was nothing, would it hurt so much?
Joel didn't remember that time very well, how he functioned. At some point Tess appeared, then Ellie. He didn't believe he would ever see your face again.
He would see you walking around Jackson with Ellie, or hanging out at a local bar with a group of people you knew. He wanted every moment like this to feel normal to him, but he couldn't shake this strange feeling. The feeling that you weren't real in some way, or that you weren't within his reach.
You didn't talk much. Hardly at all. It had been a few weeks since you'd met, and you'd only exchanged a few pleasantries. Ellie had been spending a lot more time with you, though.
Joel didn't mind, especially when Ellie started complaining that you only let her visit you after school. From what he could tell, you and Doc had been showing her how to administer medical aid, and that could come in handy. And he really enjoyed seeing the two of you in Jackson when you were both laughing and joking.
He'd wanted to approach you many times. But he couldn’t do this.
"You think you can hide here?"
"I'm not hiding." he mumbled and looked towards Ellie.
The girl sat down on a haystack at the entrance to the horse corral. She looked pleased with herself, because she caught him doing something he denied.
"You've been hiding here for days." she continued. "Like you have something on your conscience. The horses won't help you with that, dude."
"You're talking nonsense." Joel muttered under his breath and went back to brushing the horse he was taking care of. "Don't you have anything to do?"
"Y/N went to the neighboring settlement, so I guess not. I wanted to go with her, but she wouldn't let me."
"And she did the right thing." he heard Ellie snort. "You must like her, huh?"
"Yeah, she doesn't treat me like a kid. She's cool."
"What do you talk about when you spend so much time together?"
"And why do you want to know?" The girl stood up and walked over to him, her hand gently running over the animal's body. "It's a girl thing."
"Yeah, of course." Joel sneered.
"Yeah! Periods, ex-boyfriends, sex. You know."
When she noticed Joel's furrowed brows, she burst out laughing.
"God, you're so grumpy!" she laughed, but then she became serious. "What did you do to her?"
"W-What?! What did she tell you?"
"Nothing, that's the problem." Ellie shrugged. "I've tried all sorts of things, but she doesn't say anything about you. Except maybe 'Ellie, Joel knows what's good for you.' and things like that. Boring. But I still like her."
Joel put down the brush and wiped his hands on a cloth. There were definitely things Ellie would rather talk about with you than with him. He didn't blame her.
He even envied her. He would give a lot for a few minutes with you, without all the mess that was between you and that you pretended not to see.
"Want to go for a ride?" Joel nodded towards the horse.
"Yeah, it'll be fun."
Ellie helped him prepare the horses, but she had barely sat in the saddle when Tommy appeared in the stable.
"Joel!" he panted. "We need you!"
"What's wrong?" he asked nervously.
"The patrol spotted a group of infected. They're on our route to the next settlement."
"Y/N went there!" Ellie squeaked.
Joel looked at her quickly, his muscles tensing nervously and something tightening his heart.
"I don't know anything about her." Tommy replied, clearly worried. "She went with one of our men, but the patrol didn't report anything. Maybe they're still in town?"
"Or maybe they've already met up with them." Ellie muttered.
"Get off." Joel ordered "Tommy, this one is yours." He pointed to his brother's horse and reached for the gun standing by the wall "Wait for us!"
"I want to help!"
"You stay!" Joel growled at the girl and climbed onto the horse.
"Joel?" the girl stepped back so Tommy could get out of the stables "Bring her back, please."
He knew he would do anything to do it.
His footsteps behind you were heavy, but equally fast. When you reached the third floor and opened the door to your apartment, Joel was already a few steps behind you.
"What the fuck were you thinking?" he hissed, slamming the door behind him.
"I wasn't thinking at that moment." you replied, throwing your bag on the table and spilling a few personal items out of your pants pocket.
"I noticed that!" Joel growled, "That was fucking unwise and stupid."
"But it worked, didn't it?" you smiled, looking at him.
Joel was furious. You could see it in his entire posture. He rested his hands on his hips, his chest rising with each deep breath. The wrinkle between his eyebrows and that vein pulsing on his sweaty neck, once again, had pushed him to his limits.
You could have easily been arrested by one of the guards, it was all a matter of a few bad moves, a few poorly chosen words. You had a lot of contraband on you, and you...
"I acted on instinct." You said in your defense. "You should trust me more, Joel."
"I trust you, but you know it's not about that!" He pointed a finger at you. "You can't take that much risk!"
"I can handle it! You don't have to protect me all the time!"
The man took a few steps towards you, but you didn't back up an inch.
"I have to if you're going to act so irresponsibly!"
"Irresponsible?!" You sneered at his tone.
"Childish."
"You're such a jerk sometimes, Joel! You can't admit that I succeeded and..."
You didn't have a chance to finish, his strong hands grabbed your face and your lips collided in a hard kiss. There was nothing gentle about it. Joel forced your mouth open, and his tongue slipped between your lips, ripping a dull moan from your throat.
You threw your arms around his shoulders, your fingers tangling in his curly hair as you pulled him closer, pressing your whole body against his. You shifted, although it was quite difficult, and on the way you managed to tip over the chair.
"Fuck!" Joel pulled away from you when he painfully kicked the table, "Come here!"
He grabbed your buttocks and lifted you up so that you wrapped your legs around his waist. It was more comfortable that way and soon he threw you on the bed, and then you felt his weight on you.
His hands greedily ripped off your shirt and undershirt. You felt his teeth as he lightly bit your breasts through your soft bra. You could feel that he was aroused as hell. His hard cock rubbed against your crotch through his jeans, driving you crazy.
Your fingers hastily unbuttoned his shirt as Joel fought with the belt of your pants. Your lips were constantly fighting with each other, kissing, stealing each other's breath, or nibbling. Eventually, you both succeeded. Joel stood up and almost forcibly ripped your jeans off.
His shirt landed on the ground next to the rest of your unnecessary clothing. He sat back on his heels and began to unbutton his pants. His hungry gaze swept over your body.
"A penny for your thoughts." You whispered, but he just shook his head.
He never told you what was on his mind in moments like this, and not only in them. You often caught him staring at you as if he wanted to remember a given moment forever. To engrave it in his memory.
His swollen cock finally escaped his jeans, and a pleasant shiver ran through your body. Joel reached out his hand and you lifted yourself up, then sat on his hips, hugging his hot body. The tip of his cock slid a few times over your juice-covered folds and he slid inside you.
You both fell silent for a moment. Joel saw you close your eyes, taking in as much air as you could. He loved the sight, and he had no intention of ever telling you that either.
His hands held your hips as you took him inside to the very end. His cock filled you completely and stretched you so wonderfully.
"Do you want to go for a ride?"
His low voice echoed right next to your ear, his lips brushing your temple. He didn't have to ask a second time.
Your hips rose and fell, then again and again. Joel let out the most arousing moans you've ever heard. His hands just held your body, squeezing it occasionally. You felt your orgasm building inside you, but at that moment you felt something else. A hard slap on your butt interrupted your heated sighs.
Confused, you looked at Joel, a sly smile appeared on his face.
"Who's acting childish here?" you mumbled.
Another slap and you bit your lip. Your hand slid down his neck and then you squeezed his cheeks, gripping his face tighter.
"I don't know why I'm still with you, Miller." you whispered, shaking your head in disbelief. "So irresponsible."
"I think I know why."
His hands pressed your hips harder and his cock hit the spot that drove you crazy. Again and again, it was Joel who was now directing your every movement, setting the pace. You felt the muscles in your thighs burning, but you didn't want to slow down.
You were so close now, and Joel followed you, hiding his face in the hollow between your shoulder and neck. When your walls tightened around him, the most beautiful sound he had ever heard escaped your throat.
"Joel!"
He quickly laid you back on the bed, his hips slamming into you much faster. You knew he was close. At the last moment, he pulled out of you, stroking his cock a few times. He spilled onto your lower abdomen with a loud groan and threw his head back. One of the most beautiful moments you've ever seen him in.
"You're going to kill me." he mumbled, falling down next to you. "You'll be the death of me."
"Don't be so dramatic." you laughed, reaching for the towel on the chair and wiping off what he left on you. "You just have to trust me. Because I trust you, Joel."
He smiled slightly and pulled you in to kiss your head. He wanted this moment to last forever.
It was chaos.
A car and a few riders were returning from a neighboring village. The trunk of the car was filled with goods that you managed to exchange, and you were in a really good mood. You were moving slowly. Troy, your companion, was telling you some old jokes, and nothing foreshadowed what was to come.
First, one of the horses got spooked. You noticed it in the side mirror, and right after that you spotted them. A group of a dozen or so infected people came out from between the trees.
The spooked horse threw its rider off.
"Stop!" you shouted to Troy, grabbing his arm. "We have to help him!"
"Y/N!" the man pointed to a point in front of you.
More infected people appeared, this time right in front of you. Troy hit the brake. You pulled your gun out of its holster and pulled the other one out from under the seat.
"Got any magazines, kid?"
"Yeah. A few."
Troy nodded.
"Good luck."
The sound of gunfire filled the air. The whole group sped up at once. Joel felt anger and fear growing inside him. Everything here was happening too slowly, he should have been there, with you.
"Joel!" Tommy caught up with him. "People first! Don't do anything stupid."
"You'll tell her that too?!" he replied.
They rounded a bend and that's when he saw it all.
Frightened horses running around the area, an abandoned car and two men standing on it trying to kill as many infected as possible. Joel saw blood on the side of the road, but he couldn't see you anywhere.
The riders scattered, trying to help the trapped people.
"Where are you?"
He aimed his shotgun and managed to hit several infected who fell helplessly. He felt panic growing inside him.
"God, let this blood not be hers! Let this blood not be hers!"
Another shot. Screaming. Horses neighing. A shot.
Joel aimed again. Then he saw you. You appeared suddenly running from behind the car, your face covered in blood, but you were still alive. He saw you change the magazine, but one of the infected was too close.
Before you could aim, he fell to the ground after one accurate shot.
"Joel..."
The man stopped his horse right next to you and held out his hand.
"Come on!!"
"I don't..."
"Trust me! Please!"
You didn't hesitate this time. Joel helped you climb onto the horse and hit its sides with his heels to get you out of there as quickly as possible. He could feel you were behind him, hugging him around the waist. Alive.
The sounds of gunfire slowly faded away. Joel noticed more people who had managed to get out and sighed with relief. He stopped and immediately felt you slide off the horse, he did so too.
"Are you okay?" he asked.
"I'm fine." you replied trying to see more of where you were.
"Hey, show me."
"Joel, please." you whined.
"Show me." he grabbed your arm carefully and you looked at him. "What's that? You're bleeding."
You rubbed your cheek with your hand and saw blood.
"I fell. I must have cut myself."
"Only this?"
You nodded and a heavy stone fell from his heart. Joel didn't think about what he was doing. His arms pulled you in and you disappeared into his embrace.
It felt so natural. All the pressure you had felt for so long melted away from you, you unconsciously snuggled closer to him. His heart was beating like crazy, you knew yours was too.
You heard the sound of hooves and quickly moved away from Joel. Tommy and the group of riders stopped right next to you.
"Everything okay?" the man asked.
"Yeah. Thanks." You nodded. "We didn't expect them."
"We thought you wouldn't run into them after all. We lost one." He shook his head and looked back. "But the car has to stay there. We'll wait a few days. Maybe this group was the only one."
"Or maybe it's something more..." Joel muttered.
"Maybe." Tommy trailed off, but then nodded to the men. "We're going back, there's nothing for us here."
The drive to Jackson was silent. You were sure that each of you wondered how all of this had come to this and what it could mean. It was already evening when you reached the city.
Joel stopped, and it was only when you got down that you felt how exhausted you were. Your muscles ached and your stomach clenched unpleasantly.
"You should see a doctor."
His voice brought you back to earth. You looked at him blankly.
"Your cheek." He pointed at you with his finger. "Doc should see this."
"I... I'm fine." You replied, but seeing his pleading look, you sighed. "Okay, okay. Jesus, you're so stubborn sometimes."
You turned around and didn't have time to see the small smile that appeared on his face. It wasn't until the door closed behind you that Joel could breathe a sigh of relief.
He felt his hands shaking and he nervously put them in his pockets. He hated this feeling, this helplessness and loss of control.
All he ever wanted was for his loved ones to be safe. He hadn't managed to do that with Sarah, but Ellie, you or Tommy... Joel didn't want to think about the lengths he could go to keep you safe. And now that life had put you in his path for the second time, he didn't want to screw it up even more.
"Still here?"
Your voice was resonant and Joel closed his eyes for a moment, but then turned to you.
"Yeah, I thought I'd wait for you. If you need anything." he replied.
There was a small bandage on your face.
"Don't look at me like that." you mumbled, smiling "It's your fault. I barely stopped Doc from stitching me up."
"Oh, really?" Joel raised his eyebrows "Have you seen yourself? Do you know what you look like?"
"Don't say that!" you raised a hand to stop him "Don't even try!"
"Scarface."
"Who's being childish here? This isn't even funny." you snorted.
It was good to hear your laughter. He felt a pleasant warmth filling him and that's probably why he decided to try something more.
"Maybe..." Joel cleared his throat "Maybe you'd like to have a drink with me or something?"
His words hung between you for a moment. The ball was in your court.
"Sounds good." you replied after a moment.
He smiled, and you felt how much you missed this in your life. You missed him.

It's not so bad? | EM
Pairing: Eddie munson x reader

The trailer was quiet now except for the low hum of Eddie's a/c in the window. You were curled up on his side with your head on his chest. He was fast asleep now, but you couldn't.
Not after what transpired just a few hours ago. Your eyes still burned, and your heart still ached a little. You both said your sorrys, but there was something still lingering inside of you. Even though he was the main one apologizing since you truly did nothing wrong.
The way he screamed at you and got in your face. You never said a word back. You just let him unleash what he had pent up inside him. You tried to walk away, but he just followed you. Spewing hurtful things again and again.
You kept telling yourself it was the alcohol mixed with anger that made him this way. Even though in the back of your mind, it felt like he had been waiting for this opportunity to tell you how he really felt.
The moment his voice kept raising octave after octave and his face flushed red with anger. You knew there was no point in fighting back, so you just took it. Hoping he'd give up and leave you alone. You guys have fought before, but it was nothing like this. You've never been scared of him.
Until he backed you up into a corner and just laid into you. You shrunk down desperately, trying to make yourself as small as possible. The smell of various types of alcohol on his breath filled your nose.
He called you all sorts of names "bitch", "dumb" and various other hurtful insults. He grabbed you roughly by the arm to stop you from leaving and so you were forced to listen to him berate you. Any moment now, you were waiting for the cops to show up. You were sure the neighbors could hear him and would call them.
You didn't know accepting a free drink from a guy at the bar Eddie was performing in would set him off. Apparently, the guy is a long-time rival of his. Someone Eddie seriously hates, and Eddie doesn't usually hate anyone. He dislikes people, yes, but he doesn't hate them.
You noticed something was up when we marched over to you and downed the drink himself. You didn't get a chance to take a small sip of it. He barely even looked your way when he did it. Then the next thing you remember is being pulled to the van, and that's when the shouting started. Each word that came from his mouth was laced with so much venom.
"You're really fucking dumb you know that."
"You're such a bitch I don't even know why I give you the time of day."
"You're lucky someone like me even looked twice at someone like you."
Those lines still rang in your head even now as you're curled up next to him. He did eventually calm down. You guessed once the last bit of alcohol wore off, and he sobered up. Maybe when his voice became horse and he couldn't scream anymore is when he decided to stop.
The moment he was done, his face immediately softened. He wasn't mad anymore, but you were still upset. You still wondered if his voice didn't give out, would he still be yelling at you right now. He tried to pull you to him at first but you resisted.
He shushed you as he rubbed your back, and you eventually caved and melted into his arms. You cried in his chest as he hugged you to him tighter. When you noticed, his body was lightly shaking. You pulled back to see tears streaming down his face.
His voice croaked. "I'm so sorry, baby."
"You know I didn't mean any of that stuff," i said, right?" His voice is soft, and his touch is gentle.
You gave a weak smile "yeah I know you didn't it's okay."
You both stood there in the hallway by his room in eachothers arms for what felt like hours. Neither one of you said a word too tired to even talk it out yet.
You just wanted to sleep, and you wanted to be okay. He always made everything okay, and now it's feels different. You feel embarrassed, and you feel as though something is still lingering in the air.
Like there is more to say, but you're too afraid to ask. Eventually, you both somehow make it to bed. Your mind is groggy, and your anxiety is still high. You can't even remember getting undressed and into bed with him.
You tossed and turned all night long while Eddie was fast asleep. His arm draped around you, keeping you locked in close to him. You remember him wanting to have sex but you rejected him opting to just cuddle instead.
Eddie was fine with that. He seemed a little hurt, but he's never pressured you to do something you didn't want to. You felt guilty for rejecting him. There was just something there that stopped you. This lingering presence that you can't even describe.
You were hoping it would be gone by morning, but you're still sensing it. Maybe it was the lack of communication you were so used to having with him. Maybe it was the mean things he said that somehow confirmed your insecurities. Eddie told you he didn't mean them, but you just couldn't shake that,"What if?"
Now you're just laying here on his chest, counting his heartbeats. The feeling of sadness still consuming you. You want him to wake up and have everything back to normal again. You also don't want him to wake up because you're too embarrassed to face him.
Eddie stirs a bit in his sleep, but he doesn't move away from you. Instead, he manages to pull you closer to him. You can feel him squeeze your hip and give it a light little tap. His eyes slowly open as you pretend to still be sleeping.
You heard him groan a bit and cough, probably from the pain in his throat now. He stretches out, and you can hear the little pops his toes make when he cracks them.
You notice tell he's trying his best not to disturb your sleep. Each movement he makes is thought out and careful as he does it. He's trying his best not to startle you awake. He feels bad about how he treated you earlier tonight, but he's not as remorseful as you think. He loves you so much and didn't ever want to hurt you like this. But he couldn't control his temper with you any longer. The alcohol in his system didn't help either.
Does he regret how he went about it? Yes. Did he feel like this fight was a long time coming? He sure did. Next time, he might try to go about it differently if he ever caught you doing something like that again. He knows he can't control his emotions well, and sadly, this time, you were on the receiving end of his anger.
"I love you so much." Eddie spoke in a very raspy horse whipser. He kissed your temple and very slowly got out of bed. He didn't want to wake you at all.
That little moment is enough reassurance you needed. He does still love you. He didn't mean what he said to you last night. You hear the shower turn on and his muffled voice humming through the thin walls. Slowly but surely, everything felt normal again. Even if you haven't spoken yet.
That uneasy feeling you had before was gone immediately. Well, that's what you're trying to convince yourself anyway. His cracked voice singing from the bathroom as he showers calms your mind. Eventually, sleep finally takes over you, and you know everything is going to be okay.
But maybe not.
The shower turning off grabs your attention. You could hear him slowly creeping back into the bedroom, trying not to wake you up. You're in and out one minute you're calm the next you're not. You think you're fine but are you really? Eddie got right back into bed and pulled you in close again. His arm holding you tight against his chest.
He leans forward, pressing yet another kiss to your temple before whispering, "Stop being sad, sweetheart. You love me, and I love you more."

“don’t tell me you’re scared, darlin’.”
eddie chuckles, draping his arm over your shoulders to pull you in closer to his side. his plump lips graze the shell of your ear, causing you to shiver in his embrace. you clutch tightly onto the cuff of his leather jacket before quickly shaking your head.
the rambunctious chatter and laughter echoing around you does nothing to calm your already shaky nerves. having waited over half an hour in this long line for hawkin’s newest attraction has only made you more anxious. but your boyfriend is practically buzzing with excitement.
“i’m n-not scared,” you huff, “but why do we have to sit in the front car?”
while you try to put on a brave face, your shaky tone doesn’t convince either of you. eddie carefully tips your chin up, pressing a soft kiss to the tip of your nose as your frown deepens.
“it’s the best seat in the house baby, trust me you’ll like it,” he grins, mischief sparkling behind his irises.
you don’t have time to answer him as the gate suddenly opens in front of you, the attendant motioning you both forward with a bored expression. eddie takes your hand to guide you towards the cart, swallowing the last of your nerves as you slide onto the hard plastic seat. you carefully tuck your skirt under you as eddie climbs in beside you.
the brunette reaches over your lap to grab the seatbelt, letting his fingertips graze along the bare skin of your thigh for a little longer than necessary. heat pools in your lower belly at the simple touch, your thighs parting almost automatically. the hint of a smirk plays on his lips as he finally pulls the strap over you both and clicks it into place.
your shaky hands wrap around the metal safety bar, pulling it down onto your laps until it locks. just in time for the attendant to come by to make sure you both are securely fastened. the teen steps back from the tracks as he gives a thumbs up to the operator, the press of a button causing the coaster to jolt forward.
you instantly grab onto eddie's bicep, nails digging into the faux leather of his jacket as he rests his hand on your inner thigh and gives it a reassuring squeeze. the sun had set while you were still waiting in line, the colorful lights of the park now a sharp contrast against the night sky. it offers you a nice distraction as the coaster continues to climb even higher.
the cheers of the people in the carts behind you has your heart leaping into your throat as the coaster finally reaches its peak. everything suddenly stops then, the cart delicately teetering on the edge of the slope. your breathing becomes labored as you feel your boyfriend's warm palm slide in between your thighs to cup your clothed cunt.
the action causes you to gasp, feeling the coaster slowly begin to tip forward. his plump lips are at your ear then, his wild curls tickling your cheek.
“now— don't be afraid to scream, sweetheart."
eddie's fingers slip past your lace panties to find your clit as the coaster rushes downward at a rapid speed. your hair is flung back off your shoulders from the force of the wind, a strangled cry leaving your lips as he pumps his calloused digits inside your wet heat. his low groan is barely audible over the screams of the other riders.
your eyes flutter shut, hips jutting forward despite the metal bar confining you to your seat. he eagerly slips another digit in, your wetness surely dripping onto the seat below you as he buries them to the hilt inside you. your boyfriend grasps onto your chin with his unoccupied hand to press a searing kiss to your mouth.
“open those pretty eyes for me, baby,” he mumbles against your lips.
you do as you're told, lashes fluttering open to catch a glimpse of his dimples as his mouth lifts in a mischievous grin. eddie begins to curl his fingers up as the coaster suddenly flips upside down in a loop, causing your ass to lift slightly from the seat. you grip onto his wrist in an attempt to keep his fingers from slipping back out.
a scream leaves your lips as he hits your sweet spot repeatedly, the motion of the coaster only aids him in fucking you deeper. his thumb continues to rub harsh circles over your swollen clit as your body trembles. between eddie's skilled fingers and the constant motion of the coaster, it doesn’t take you long to meet your end.
that final descent has your thighs pressing together and a drawn out cry to slip past your lips. the sound only intertwines with the screams and shouts of excitement from the other riders. a mixture of fear and arousal courses through your veins as the male continues to pump his fingers inside you. working you through the intensity of your orgasm.
your chest is heaving by the time the ride begins to finally slow. your half lidded eyes watching when he slips his fingers out from between your thighs. eddie brings them up to his lips just as the coaster rounds the final corner into the station, sucking your juices off them with a large smirk. no one but the two of you know the reason for it.
by the time the ride comes to a complete halt you've barely recovered, knees wobbling as you climb out the car onto the tarmac. eddie follows behind you, eagerly scooping you up in his arms and lifting you off the ground. a small squeal escapes you as he carries you towards the exit.
"see, sweetheart?” he hums, nipping at your ear.
“rollercoasters are fun."

| ★ : could you maybe do headcanons on how striker be if he was jealous? Like he saw reader drunk flirting with someone? How would that be? — ♪ .
(HELLUVA BOSS) YANDERE STRIKER x FLIRTATIOUS DRUNK! READER: Headcannons
Thanks for ordering!
Come again soon!
Tumblr media
Ooh, Not a good situation, Especially with the likes of Striker.
Striker barely lets you out of the house at all. The only time's he ever does is when he's taking you on dates down to the lust ring and even then it's very sparingly he does. He needs to keep you safe, You know?
Even then when he takes you down to a nice place with a bar it's not like you'll be away from him long. You're either hanging off his arm or sitting in his lap, No in-betweens with this man.
But let's say when you're going down to the bar Striker gets distracted by something, Let's say it's when he's taking your next order. By this point you've been drinking to take the edge off of your stalker (It's Striker, But you'll never know)
So you've been popping corks and downing shots of moonshine, No one's stopping you of course and there is no drinking limit. This is hell after all.
So as Striker is distracted by the waitress and him ordering your food you find yourself dazed by the restaurants flashing strobe lights, It seems more like a club with the hollering music and the near screaming chatter of crowded people.
You barely register an arm slinging over your shoulder and a sleazy smile appearing on an unknown mans face. You're mind is fuzzy and blurred as your smile becomes slurred.
Striker by nature is extremely jealous. I headcannon him as possessive and he does NOT like it when you talk to anyone other than him, Even if it's platonic or in a professional setting he just cannot stop the deep desire to shoot that person through the head and take you away.
It's why he's so clingy in the first place. He doesn't like anyone trying to steal his possession so he lets everyone know who you belong to with his presence being with you 24/7
He tells himself his feelings is just because he wants to protect you. Not because he's jealous, No, His pride is too large to admit that. It's not like he'll ever admit it either, No matter how much you ask.
As the man starts flirting you start to flirt back without a single thought in your mind. A sly compliment here and a mindless sultry response in return, You can barely keep your legs straight as he begins to guide you out of the restaurant.
BOOM!
Suddenly the demon fell to the floor with a gunshot wound going straight through his head. His body slumps over as the chatter around you turns to screaming and people try to exit the restaurant in mass.
You barely register when you're grabbed by the arm and Striker gets up in your face, Screaming as he asks you "What the hell you were doing" in his accent. You don't understand his words as you slur your response.
Striker doesn't have time for this as he hoists you over his shoulder. He's absolutely furious as he spits on the corpse of the demon and carries you out of the club. He can barely contain the snarl on his lips as he throws you over the back of his horse.
Later on when he calms down and you've sobered up. Striker realises that it wasn't your fault, You were drunk but that didn't mean it made him any less angry or paranoid.
Luckily you remember the events through spinning lenses but Striker tells you that it was an accomplice of your stalker and he had to kill him for your safety. You believe him, He's done so much to protect you so why would he lie.
Doesn't mean you get off scot free though. No more dates for the next few months and you're forced to stay inside your room as punishment for "cheating on him". Striker's forgiven you, But he still does like the look of guilt and remorse in your eyes.
Overall, Just don't go to shady restaurants in hell. Also get the fuck away from Striker but that's neither here nor there.

Scent. 2/2
Didn't know I had to tag for fourth wall breaks, but here it is! Logan has cuteness aggression. SFW, pg-13, Primal scenting, established poolverine, countryside comedy, angst, and fluff. Wade gets smothered in front of the fireplace by a big domestic wolverine because of his self-confidence issues. Mental health issues.
Post Save a horse/Ride a wolverine
Requested by @asaturnerofficial
“It has nothing to do with the makeup.”
“Then why do you keep taking it off?!”
“Because you don't need it! And it stinks like high heaven, that crap can not be good for your skin.”
“My skins already fucked, James, just leave me alone.”
Still trying to cover his face, Wade whined, frustrated with him and himself for being the way he was. No, it wasn't his fault, but he still felt like shit. His head wasn't nice to him, Logan knew that feeling all too well.
It didn't take long for him to learn when enough was enough, either. They didn't exactly have a safe word rather than a scent, and a tone he knew meant too much. To back off. And as much as he didn't want to, he did, climbing off of him as he sat, his chin in his hand.
“So what? You're just going to do this every day for the rest of your life?” He grumbled, also frustrated that Wade's brain was mean to him, and didn't let him see all the beauty that he had. It took him a long time to learn that what other people thought of him didn't matter as long as the ones that cared about him did just that. Cared.
Letting out a high-pitched groan, He rolled over, covering his head with his hat, grumbling something under his breath.
“...This is because of what that guy said earlier, isn't it?” he muttered, now crossing his arms.
“No-” he lied. And Logan knew it was a lie. He could smell it.
That was the only thing about being with him that made his partners leave, they couldn't slip anything past him and his need to resolve issues (or just straight up leave) made it even more difficult. But he already promised that he wouldn't leave Wade. Not without telling him first, at least.
“You're a terrible liar. You know that?”
“So are you...”
Not in the sense that he couldn't go pick up milk without him freaking out, but if he was gone for more than a couple of days, he'd get a call. And vise versa. Some things they couldn't tell each other for safety reasons.
‘Where have you been?? You reek of sewer’
‘Job.’ Followed by the zipper mouth motion that meant ‘Don't ask details’
‘Aahh.. get it done?’
‘Always do!’
‘Hard?’
‘Nah, panic room.’
‘Uggh panic rooms.’
‘I know, right?’
‘Soooo…’ He'd gesture to him with a finger, questioning about the smell.
‘You don't wanna know. In fact, I don't even wanna know!’
‘Bar?’
‘Shower first.’
‘Taco place?’
‘Taco place.’
Oh, he remembered that day. He ordered tacos from that place Wade liked, and after his shower, they ended up on the couch for a while, then went out for the night. It was like that, and honestly, he had no issues with it. He enjoyed being able to just… BE.. with him. They could just be themselves.
But now Mr. Merc with a mouth, was taking a break from the mercenary stuff. He's been out of his suit more and more. And covering more and more. But why now? Since when did he cover himself up with this junk? He knew Wade did ‘Touch ups with the makeup team’ or whatever he said, but this was just too much.
Part of him felt like he was losing it too because he wanted to march up to that ‘make up artist’ and slash them in the face for making him feel like his entire face needed to be hidden. Though he couldn't, obviously, because that person didn't exist in the material world rather than being a figment of his boyfriends imagination.
“...What gets ratings?” He asks, glancing at him, having an idea.
“What do you mean?” Barely a whimper.
“Well… ratings are good, right? So.. what do they like?” God, he couldn't believe he was going along with this. He hoped it wouldn't make it worse.
“Good writing, amazing actors, a good thrill… I guess.. why?”
Climbing back over him, Logan hovered him with a soft, almost hopeful smirk. “Does this get ratings?” He asked, gently kissing his head, beginning to rub their cheeks together affectionately. “That do anything?”
Looking at him, His face already heated up, giving him that look that never got old. The ‘Holy shit did you just do that?’ Glance with wide eyes and a goofy grin. “I-it's not that simple. I mean, you got the tech crew, The Sound Team, the-”
This kiss was slower, humming into it as he took his hand, holding it intertwined with his own fingers, putting it up above his head. Turning his head a little, He nipped at his tongue, chuckling as he pulled away.
“What about now?”
“I-i…” And that folks is how you shut up your Deadpool. Manual restarts can do the system some good once in a while.
“What? Cat got your tongue, Princess?”
Getting that stare of utter bafflement, he took that as a yes. “Now hold still for me.”
Quickly, he nods, putting his other arm up too, clearly excited assuming this was going somewhere else, but in reality-
Leaning down, He began to kiss every little spot on his face, every patch getting it’s own special attention. Instantly, Wade blushed harder, letting out a sound that reminded him of a squeaky toy, trying to push him away.
“Eeh!! No! I'm still mad at you! You can't kiss your way out of this!” he giggled, but Logan knew he didn't want him to stop and he was starting to smell better already.
Rubbing his scratchy beard against him, he began to let out a little growl. This happens sometimes. He would get too overwhelmed with his emotions and would become angry, snarling at him with their noses touching.
Beginning to laugh, He tried to push his head to the side, knowing he would bite him if he didn't get away soon. “No!! Logan, don't eat me!” He now turned his head elsewhere. “The original line was ‘Please Mr wolverine, devour me in cold hard blood.’ But it didn't test well with younger viewers.”
“Why the hell are younger people watching this to begin with? Go do your homework or Something, ya little brats!”
“GGASSPP Wolvie, stop it! They already did all their homework!... at least they were supposed to..”
“Oh yeah? All of them? Even that one!?” He points directly at you. Yeah, you. You know who you are. “If I find out that you're skipping out on your homework to watch some show that's too old for you, why Im gonna-”
Tapping his shoulder, Logan looked down again at the man trapped underneath him.
“Is that what that feels like? Being ignored? Because if I remember correctly in this scene, I'm supposed to be the one getting attention, yeah?”
“Attention? Sorry, Bub, we're all outta that.” He teased, smirking, happy that his scent was starting to be smothered in him instead of that lousy foundation.
“Actually I believe I had some on back order? I called ahead, you see.” He says, putting his finger up in a matter of fact manner.
“What, like a reservation?”
“Exactly. Now, if you don't mind-” He turns.
“And if You don't mind. I'm the star of this show and I say… Action!”
And that was his cue, Chomping the finger clean off. With a shout and a complaint of ‘That was my good hand!’ a smaller baby finger began to grow back.
“Jesus, peanut, I know you're hungry, but that's why I came in here in the first place! I was gonna ask what you want for dinner. The next thing I know, i'm being assaulted!”
“Oh please. You aren't being assaulted… yet.”
“Yet!? Woah woah woah, Logie, this story is pg-13! We already used up all of our *Beeps* So careful! The studio is gonna be pissed!”
“... did you just bleep yourself?”
“No.”
“Yes you fu-”
“Beeep!”
Staring for a moment, Logan blinked. Alright. That settled it. He was off his rocker. All the screws in his head completely gone, not even loose at this point, just straight up missing.
“...Fu-”
“BEEP!!”
“Yeah, I'm gonna show you beep. Beep this.”
Holding his face still, he decided there was only one way to calm down. And it was a last resort. “You know what I want for dinner, Wade?”
“No. That's why I came to ask.” Oh good lord, there was nothing in that brain of his. Was there? Probably all those damn chemicals -
“Well… I'll give you a hint.”
“Ooh I love this game!!” He cheered, doing a small and excited wiggle.
At this, he couldn't help but chuckle again, leaning in close. “It's right in front of me.”
“Wait.. Wha- Yeouch!!”  Before he could fully process the flirt, his oversized weasel of a boyfriend bit him, right in the cheek, and then the nose, then nipped his ears, before finally chomping down on a collar bone. “Hey- No- staaph! Get off of me, you big ape!” He'd whine, pushing his head only for him to bite harder.
“I'm a wolverine, actually. THE Wolverine.” He growls, connecting their foreheads as he smirks, his canines flashing in the firelight before shifting himself to bite him again. The entirety of his neck sat between his jaws, a grumble of satisfaction and playfulness coming from his throat.
His hands came to his hair, petting him a bit and playing with the little curls on the sides, perfectly content to let him get his aggression out. “Are you purri-”
“Nuh!” He growled a bit louder, biting harder, causing a small gasp.
“I don't know, baby girl, sounds like purring to me-”
“Shuddup!” Placing his fist against his skull, the other took his hand, holding it tight.
“God you're so pathetic, aren't you big boy? Getting all worked up over nothing.” Wade teased, not minding his neck becoming a chew toy and his hand getting crushed. Infact he was smiling, looping the little ears around his finger with a giggle.
“Says the one who needs his whole face covered just to go feed chickens.” he grumbled, pulling away and shaking his head a bit, getting off that extra energy.
“That's not fair and you know it.” The one on the floor mumbled, crossing his arms again.
“.. Just because some of us don't need the makeup chair doesn't mean none of us do..”
“You're a real idiot ain't ya?” He muttered, getting up, kicking off his boots as he began to walk off. Sitting up, of course he wanted to follow, but Logan turned, pointing at him sternly. “Stay.”
“Oh, what!? Noo!! I hate when you do this! Logan!” He whined, pouting and kicking his feet like a child, or perhaps A demon who was just placed into a salt circle. Maybe both.
Laying here, Pouty, Wade decided right then and there that if he came back with a camera, he was going to kick him in the balls so hard that they'd have to grow back. How he wasn't sterile by now was beyond him. Then again, Logans never had to do intense chemotherapy either. Blinking, he stared at the fire, debating if he should start doing that again… It made him feel so much worse, but in the long term, he did admit to feeling better.. that was the best part about having a suit that fully covered you, though. No one ever assumed that Spidey had stage 4 cancer. Not ever… oh web powers would be pretty cool though, yeah?
“Yeah.. they would, wouldn't they..”
“Are you talking to yourself again?”
“Do you think it would be cool to have web powers?” He asked, avoiding the question only to turn and see that Logan awkwardly was carrying his make up bag and his template of multiple brushes and eyeshadows.
Within a second, he sat up, panicking with the assumption that he was going to destroy all of it. “Don't you dare!!”
“Don't I dare what?” The man stopped, wondering why he was so upset. He thought guys were into their boyfriends doing makeup for them? They were online anyway. “And as for your question, I'm almost 400 pounds, what do you think? I doubt they could even hold me.”
By now he was standing, almost teary eyed as he pointed at him. “I'm serious, Logan! Don't!”
Blinking, He looked around, a little on edge as if there was a bomb or something, but he didn't see anything. It then hit him in the chest that Wade might actually need to go somewhere else for help. He knew he saw things sometimes, but there really was nothing. “Don't what!?”
Following where he was looking, he held up the bag a bit more. “What? This?” Really, he couldn't be more confused. He knew that it was expensive but he didn't know it was ‘Don’t touch it’ expensive.
“..Please…don't.” Wade whispered, the tears leaving the station, his body language changing to become more shut down, holding himself as he turned to walk in a tiny circle, pacing.
“Okay, okay! Just… "Let's take a breath ..okay?" I didn't know.” Slowly putting the bag down, he put his hands up, taking a step towards him instead. “Come're. What? What's wrong?” But he didn't come nor hear him at all, shaking his head, sniffling.
Oh, it was times like this when Howlett really wished one of his daughters was home. They were so much better at this kind of stuff. Okay.. what would they say..
“Erm.. it's okay.. pumpkin.. just.. tell me, what's wrong?” That sounded terrible. “Uhm..please?”
And that sounded even worse.
Turning, he swallowed, choking out. “Yo-you're going to break it..”
Between the look in his eyes, the way he was standing, and this sentence alone, His eyes widened. “..You thought I was going to bust up all your makeup? On purpose?”
The silence was enough to answer, staring at him as if he'd hurt him if he replied. A lot of people didn't actually know this, but behind that blood lust and violence, there was so much hurt. So much trauma. It was kind of crazy how well their lives matched up, actually. Scary even. Maybe it's why they worked.
“Shit, Wade… I didn't.. I'd never do that to you. I know how much it means to you I just.. Damn words are hard.” He groaned, putting his hands on his head for a moment, trying to think. It was harder to think when he stared at him like that. He's had plenty of people stare at him like he was a rabid, feral animal. They were terrified that he'd hurt them. But this was different, and it hurt a lot more.
He was scared of being hurt emotionally, not physically. And that feeling alone made him want to walk away. To go far far away from Wade so he could never hurt him.
‘I'm not going to walk out on you just because you cry, moron’
‘..promise?’
‘Sure.’
‘Pinky promise? Cross your heart?’
‘Heh. Sure. Cross my heart. Hope to die’
This promise rang through his head every single time he had this feeling. The one deep in his gut that got him here in the first place. He got here by running away. Not anymore. Not ever again.
“Wade, I-... I wanted to do your makeup.” He admits, swallowing seeing as this type of intimate, gentle conversation was new for him, nervous that he'd mess it up again.
“W-what?”
“Yeah, I… I figured..” rubbing the back of his neck, He put another hand in his pocket, grumbling at how stupid this all sounded.
Taking a step forward, he seemed… Hopeful. Trusting and honest. “C-cross your heart?”
Immediately Logan perked up, nodding and crossed his heart with a finger. “Hope to die… come here?” Ah yes, Come here. The classic ‘I'm too manly to ask for a hug’ move.
Sniffling, Wilson wiped his eyes, now feeling like a fool, coming to him as he hugged him, keeping him close as he began to giggle awkwardly. “..H-hi..”
Holding him close and firmly, He rubbed his back, scratching it softly with his nails. These little hellos after disagreements or misunderstandings helped greatly. He wasn't sure why Wade always greeted him, but it felt nice. Part of him wondered if it was himself coming back down to the front or if he was simply saying ‘let's start over’
“...If they can hold a 4 ton truck, they can hold you.”
“Huh??” 2 seconds after making up, and he was already confused.
“The webs.”
“Oh. Yeah, they could then, couldn't they?”
He nods, specifically nuzzling into his chest, taking in that musky, hard-working man smell he always had. Maybe.. he'd stop using the stinky ones.
Move over Janet. You've just been fired and replaced with Mr. Howlett. Director of Scent and the new makeup artist in town.

Not a People Doctor
Pairing: Rhett Abott x Vet!Reader
Fandom: Outer Range
After a bar fight, Rhett shows up at your doorstep.
For the amazing @vivwritesfics and the reason I am now Rhett/ Bob trash! Thank you for the title idea 💕💕
Tumblr media
It's getting late as you settle down in your living room with a hot cup of tea and the latest book you're reading. Your peace is interrupted by a soft knocking at your door. You almost think you've imagined it when the knock comes again, a little louder this time. Grumbling slightly, you set your book aside, hoping it isn't another mare in labour or a horse with colic; you just want a quiet night.
Opening the door, you put on a smile for the paying customer you expect to find, but your smile falls as you see none other than Rhett Abbott, your childhood friend and a frequent customer. He looks dishevelled, blood staining his clothes, and you can already see the bruises and cuts on his face in the dim porch light.
"Jesus, Rhett, what the hell happened to you?" you exclaim, ushering him inside.
He winces as he moves, clearly in pain but not wanting to let on. "Got into a bit of a scuffle at the bar," he mutters, not quite meeting your gaze.
Leading him into your living room, you move the blanket you'd been cuddled under not long ago. "Sit down, let me take a look at you."
He lowers himself onto the sofa. You flip on the light switch to give you a better view of his injuries as you sit on the coffee table opposite him.
"You must've really pissed someone off," you tut as you gently turn his head with your fingers on his chin. You lift his shirt seeing the bruises over his ribs, shaking your head. "We need to get you to a hospital; some of these cuts need stitches. Probably got a broken rib or two as well."
Rhett gives you a shit-eating smile, a smile only he could pull off when his face looks half as bad as it does, and it still makes you weak at the knees. "That's why I came here, thought you were a doctor."
"I'm an animal doctor, not a people doctor," you shake your head in disbelief.
"I can try. I don't have any of the good pain meds, so it's going to hurt like a bitch, and it won't be the prettiest. Gonna have a few more scars to add to the list."
"Never had any complaints from you. You always liked my scars and tattoos."
You smack him lightly on the arm, causing a 'hey' from him in response. Ignoring him, you run to get the first aid kit you keep in your bathroom closet as well as your veterinary kit.
You start to clean his wounds, carefully stitching up the deep cut over his eyebrow. You can't help feeling a pang of concern. Rhett isn't a stranger to bar fights, but seeing him so vulnerable and injured stirs something within you.
"Are you going to tell me what that fight was about?" you ask gently, your voice laced with worry.
Rhett hesitates for a moment before he meets your gaze. "It was dumb. Just some guy mouthing off about things he shouldn't have," he admits, jaw clenching.
You sigh, finishing up and snipping the last of the stitches. "You need to be more careful, Rhett. You're going to get yourself seriously hurt one day."
He nods, his expression sheepish. "I know... I know. I just... I didn't want to go to the hospital."
You place a comforting hand on his cheek, your thumb gently smoothing over his cheekbone. "Well, you're just lucky you've got me, and I happen to know my way around stubborn bull riders, and I'm pretty good at suturing."
A small smile tugs at the corner of his lips. "You have no idea."
Once you've finished cleaning and bandaging the last of the wounds on his face, you sit back, admiring your handiwork. "There... all done," you lean in and place a gentle kiss on the side of his head, "good as new."
Rhett stands up slowly, getting a look in the mirror above your fireplace. "Thanks, sweetheart. I owe you one."
"Don't mention it, I'll just add it to the list. Just promise me you'll be more careful, Rhett. I'm pretty good, but some injuries I can't fix."
He nods, his gaze finally meeting yours. "I promise."
As he makes his way to the door, you can't help but shake the feeling of concern lingering. "Hey, Rhett? You need a place to stay tonight? Probably shouldn't be alone after something like this."
"I don't want to put you out..."
"You're not," you interrupt him.
Rhett's gaze softens, and you can see the gratitude in his eyes. "I... I'd appreciate that. Thank you."
You feel a wave of relief wash over you as you leave him on the couch, running to change your sheets, not wanting him to spend the night on the sofa with his injuries.
"Beds all changed; let's get you some rest. I've got some pain meds and a glass of water up there for you too."
He looks at you, confused as to why you haven’t brought down blankets and pillows, assuming he'd be sleeping on the couch.
You hold out your hand. "Come on, I don't mind. Besides, I'll feel a lot better knowing you're not sleeping on that uncomfortable sofa."
He blinks, confusion evident in his expression. "Are you sure, Y/N? I don't want to intrude."
You give him a look that leaves no room for arguments, and he knows he'd be fighting a losing battle to even try.
With a grateful nod, he takes your hand, helping pull himself to his feet before he follows you up the stairs. You pull back the covers, helping him slip under the blankets before joining him. As you both lie there, you couldn’t help but love the feeling of the warmth of his body beside you. You love it even more as he wraps an arm around your waist, whispering a thank you into the crook of your neck.

To My Alcoholic Friends
Despite the fact it never, ever ends well, Pigsy, Tang and Sandy spend another Friday night out on the town, drinking and dancing and losing all of their inhibitions before they know it. This can only end well

Pigsy, Tang, and Sandy went out every Friday night, despite it almost ending in disaster every time. Tang would get shitfaced, Pigsy would run his mouth, and Sandy would get into a fight or two just about every other week. Frankly, it was a miracle they were even allowed in bars anymore, but the bar owners always said they'd seen worse, somehow. Pigsy had his doubts about the whole thing, but was glad to be able to go out and away from the pressures of society. After all, heaven knows Tang needs these nights out more than anyone, and someone had to watch Sandy's back to make sure he didn't get himself killed, so Pigsy was always glad to go along and pay the tab.
It was a delicate balance, the three of them, but Pigsy liked it that way. Everything felt right in the world when he was protecting those he cared about.
“UGH, God, if I have to deal with that professor nagging about how I shouldn’t use oxford commas one more time, I'm going to fall into an early grave,” Tang flung the door open to the bar, finding an empty stool and sitting with a huff.
Pigsy laughed. “See, this is why I say college is a waste of time. All that scholar talk's nothing but hogwash to make them all feel superior to guys like us,” he smirked, sitting next to him.
Tang rolled his eyes. “You know my father and mother are both professors, right?”
“Yeah, and they also suck ass, ergo…” Pigsy gestured vaguely, making his partner push him playfully before ordering shots for the group.
Sandy snorted. “That's one way to put it.”
“Parents, who needs ‘em?” Pigsy elbowed Tang as the shots were placed in front of them.
“Ugh, you can say that again,” Tang instantly downed his shot before his face twisted with regret. “Man, I hate tequila. Why do I keep doing this to myself?”
“Because we’re broke as shit,” Pigsy teased.
“And because it’s cheaper than therapy,” Sandy added before slamming his.
“And God knows we can't get your piece of shit ‘father’ outta the paper if we tried,” Pigsy added, finally taking his shot too.
“You're telling me,” Tang grumbled. “And what's worse is I'm in that stupid photo– all day people have been walking up to me and talking about his achievements in space technology and blah blah blah– I'm sick of it! I'm sick of him! He's an asshole! Not someone who's going to unlock the cosmos!”
“Yeah, your pop's a real piece of work,” Pigsy cringed.
“More like a piece of shit. Tossing you out, and for what?” Sandy growled. “He's weak and pathetic, and if I ever see him in public, rest assured I'd teach him a lesson ‘bout respect,” Sandy swore, eyes dark and dangerous.
Tang scratched his neck. “I-I don't know if that's necessary, Sandy, but thanks,” He gave a pitiful smile, while the river demon just grunted.
“Right, well… another round, gentlemen?” Pigsy suggested.
“You know it,” Tang immediately agreed, going back to massaging his forehead. “I can't take another second of thinking about my stupid thesis or my parents, or this song, ugh,” he bemoaned, looking around the bar for a jukebox or whatever the music was coming from.
“Sandy?” Pigsy looked his way.
“Wouldn't be a Friday night without at least three shots of that horse shit,” the river demon agreed, slightly less dark in the eyes, and so another round was ordered.
However, by the time they were ready, Tang had already wandered off to fix his annoyance. It was hardly surprising, but made Pigsy shake his head nonetheless.
“You– uh– good on your own?” Pigsy asked.
Sandy chuckled. “Go find him. I'll be fine waiting until the smooch fest is over.”
“Har-har,” Pigsy rolled his eyes, taking his and Tang’s shots from the bar before beginning his search through the crowded bar.
It took a bit of weaving and bobbing, but eventually Pigsy found Tang standing by the jukebox with his coin purse out.
“Don’t tell me you hate this song that much you’d waste 50 mao– you could buy shitty ramen with that money,” Pigsy gave an exasperated sigh.
“I’m not allowed to buy shitty ramen anymore, remember?” Tang gave a little smirk, before going right back to the machine.
Pigsy rolled his eyes. “You and your spending habits fascinate me.”
“Trust me, this song’s gonna be worth it,” Tang insisted before inserting the five mao and selecting the right number.
The scholar watched with a dumb smile as the little robot arm took out the old CD and swapped it with the new one, eyes lit up like new years. Pigsy couldn’t imagine having that much excitement about some dumb machine, but it was one of the things he liked about Tang; He had a spark Pigsy lost years ago.
“Oo! Okay– okay– it’s starting!” Tang clapped his hands and finally turned to Pigsy, and jumped as he realized he had been holding their shots the entire time. “Sorry about that– I was just so excited– here,” he apologized, taking the drink from Pigsy.
“No worries,” Pigsy couldn’t help but laugh. “Ganbei?”
“Ganbei!” Tang cheered, clinking his shot glass against Pigsy's before they both drank just as the music started playing.
Immediately Pigsy's ears perked up as the familiar synth started to climb, and he started practically doubling over with laughter once the drums started.
“See? I told you you'd love it,” Tang grinned all stupid and dorky, making Pigsy wish he didn't know any better so he could grab his waist and kiss him already.
“This song is so stupid,” Pigsy said instead.
“What? You don't agree? Don't wanna ‘Lay All Your Love on Me’?” Tang batted his eyelashes.
“Tang,” Pigsy's face got all red and hot with pleasure, embarrassment, and a smidge of the alcohol kicking in.
“‘Don’t go wasting your emotion~ lay all your love on me,” Tang sang along, swaying his hips and throwing his hands in the air like a total idiot.
“You are way too much of a lightweight, you know that?” Pigsy raised a very amused eyebrow.
“And you’re too much of a hardass! C’mon, let’s dance,” His partner didn’t care one bit, moving to the beat with drunken, and irresistibly enticing carelessness.
“C’mon Tang, you know we can’t–”
“‘It was like shooting a sitting duck,’” Tang continued to sing, hands moving down his hips in an enticing way. “A little small talk, a smile, and I was stuck~”
Pigsy just rolled his eyes and stepped back, watching his partner with a stupid grin and hot face as he continued trying to serenade him.
“‘I still don’t know what you’ve done with me. A grown-up woman should never fall so easily,” Tang fake swooned, making Pigsy fold with laughter, the desire to join him growing stronger with each stupid flail and look.
“I feel a kind of fear, when I don’t have you near,” Tang batted his eyelashes. “Unsatisfied, I skip my pride, I beg you dear~” Tang extended his hand, and this time, with all inhibitions washed away with alcohol, Pigsy took it.
“‘Don’t go wasting your emotion, lay all your love on me~’” Pigsy sang along, and Tang looked so happy Pigsy could kiss him (but instead settled for placing his hands on his hips).
“Don’t go sharing your devotion, lay all your love on me~” Tang sang too, his fingers crawling up Pigsy’s arms in a way that made him shiver with delight.
They danced the whole music break together, the music and lights and Tang's general Tang-ness making it harder and harder for the pig demon to keep his hands off of him. It didn't help that the alcohol was certainly kicking in by now, making him feel all giddy and unable to look away from Tang's shaggy hair or how his changpao swayed and clung to parts of his body.
Damn it– Pigsy couldn’t take it anymore, Tang was just too irresistible when he was like this– and with the look Tang was giving him he had to know he was driving Pigsy insane– he needed him– he needed Tang now–
And so, not caring that the last verse wasn't over, Pigsy grabbed Tang’s hand and dragged him out to the back alleyway where he immediately started making out with him, which the scholar didn’t protest in the slightest.
“You’re– like– really fucking hot when you sing, you know that?” Tang said between kisses with a smug little grin.
“And you’re hot when you dance,” Pigsy replied shortly, wanting him to shut up so he could kiss him more.
Tang giggled. “Maybe I should dance for you back at the apartment~”
“Maybe you should.”
“Maybe I will~”
“God, shut the fuck up.”
“Oh sir, yes sir~”
“Tang–”
“Pigsy~ Oh-!”
That worked.
“Hey!” A voice called from down the alley.
Pigsy ignored it, gripping Tang's hair and scratches tight under his fingers, completely lost in the enchanting taste of his lover. Besides, he could easily be talking to someone else.
“Hey! I’m talking to you! What the hell you two think you're doing?”
Fuck.
Fuck– okay, slow down Pigsy, maybe he’s just step back and breathe. He's another dipshit in a long line of dipshits. You can deal.
Pigsy muttered under his breath, wiping his lips before he turned to face the bozo ruining his makeout session, sure to stand in front of Tang as he did. “Yeah?”
“This look like a fuckin’ fag house to you two?” The man spat, fingers curled into fists.
Pigsy rolled his eyes. “Maybe you oughta mind your business. What we’re doin’ ain’t got nothing to do with you,” he glared, and Tang put a hand on his shoulder.
“Don’t do this, Piggy, it’s not worth it,” his partner whispered, but Pigsy brushed it off.
“We don't need more of your kind muckin’ around and taintin’ all the good bars in town,” the man sneered. “Every where I fuckin’ look there's more and more of you peach eaters.”
“Pigsy, let's just go back inside,” Tang urged, squeezing his shoulder.
“Look man, we're not here to cause trouble. Just go inside and–”
“You…” the man suddenly straightened up and pointed right at Tang, who hid closer to Pigsy. “You're the son of that rich space guy on the news, the one who’s gonna ‘take us to Mars’. I didn't know his son's a fuckin’ fairy– oh imagine the scandal,” He laughed, making Pigsy's blood boil.
“You leave him outta this,” He growled.
“What? What is this? Some kinda ‘Sugar Daddy’ situation? You suck his cock and he pays your rent?” The man howled with laughter.
“Watch it, I'm warning you,” Pigsy bared his teeth.
“Or better yet– his father kicked his faggot ass out and you’re the son of a bitch paying that jiàn fucker to have sex with you,” The man smiled and stepped closer. “How much for ‘im, huh? Ten yuan? Twelve? Five for a blowie, seven for a hand job?”
Pigsy heard Tang wince, which made Pigsy angry enough to shove the man. “I said to leave him outta this.”
“Pigsy– wait–”
“Aww, c’mon? You jealous? Or do you just not want word gettin’ out about your little wh–”
Pigsy sucker punched the idiot right in the jaw before he could finish his sentence, but the man was deceptively strong and managed to keep his stance.
“Oh I see how it is,” The man spat out some blood. “You wanna dance? Let’s dance.”
Pigsy swiftly went for another punch, but the man managed to dodge, grabbing and twisting Pigsy’s arm. His arm burned with pain, but Pigsy managed to kick the guy in the shin and knee, getting him to let go. When the demon went in for another punch, though, the man dodged and countered with one of his own, which hit him pretty hard.
“Yeah, you like that, you sick fuck?!” The man licked his lips, before he stuck the back of Pigsy's knee hard, bringing it to the ground.
“Pigsy!” Tang cried, getting the attackers attention.
“Oh, I'm sorry lover boy, am I hurting your paycheck?” He asked before trying to kick Pigsy in the ribs, which he mostly succeeded in, though the pig tried to grab his leg to stop it.
“You… leave him outta this!” Pigsy growled, anger burning just bright enough for him to grab and toss the guy to the ground. He gave a hard kick to the ribs for good measure, before running to Tang.
“Tang–” he panted– “Tang– you gotta get out of here– go– I can handle ‘im,” he urged, grabbing his shoulders.
“Wha–? No! I'm not leaving you like this! W-we should go together,” Tang shook his head tearfully, taking Pigsy's hand and pulling.
“Go back inside and find Sandy, it's okay,” The demon stood firm just as he felt the man get up and grab his shirt collar. Pigsy immediately jerked his head back, freeing him from his grasp.
However, he needed a stupid second to recover from the choking sensation, which was just long enough for the man to grab Pigsy's front collar and shove him against the wall, punching him again and again and again– and not just in the face, but in the stomach, in the ribs– everywhere. There was even a loud CRACK at one point that made his lungs feel on fire, but the man just kept going and going–
Until he suddenly stopped, though kept Pigsy pressed against the wall.
“Hey sweetheart, let's make an offer, eh?” The man suddenly looked to Tang who was trembling on the ground and pulling on his scarf, eyes wide with terror. “Let's say I get to take your sweet little queer ass home in exchange for this little piggy to live, eh?”
“S-stop this-! Let him go!” Tang choked out, finally bursting into sobs.
“I will! Just let me have the honor of seein’ you do a little dance or two for me,” the man grinned all smug, spurring up Pigsy's rage once again.
“You leave ‘im outta this, you son of a bitch,” Pigsy spat blood on his attacker, who gripped his throat tighter.
“C'mon, sweet thing, it's either you or the pork,” his assailant reached into his pocket where he had a switchblade– fuck–
Pigsy saw Tang's eyes go wide and briefly meet the chef's own. Immediately Pigsy shook his head– he wasn't worth it– he won't leave you alone– I can still fix this– Go. Home– when out of the blue the man was pulled away from him and Pigsy fell to the ground.
He felt Tang rush to his side instantly, though was alarmed when he realized he heard his attacker screaming– though when he looked up, it wasn't a surprise as to why.
Sandy had grabbed him, bending his arm the wrong way before kicking him to the ground and pinning him down. The man instantly begged him to stop– that he would just forget he ever saw any of them and call it a day, Pigsy knew that look in Sandy's eyes, and the river demon started striking again and again and–
“Pigsy–! Can you hear me?! Are you okay?!” Tang had apparently been trying to talk to the demon, though when he finally met his eyes, it didn't seem to matter as Tang just hugged him anyway.
“I'm so sorry– I'm so sorry– I could've stopped him– I was scared– I'm so sorry, I could've lost you,” Tang hiccuped.
“It's okay, Tang, it's okay, its–”
CRACK
Pigsy and Tang froze at the sound as the night air went still and silent, except for the sound of Sandy grunting and continuing to punch the ma–
The man's skull was cracked open– blood and liquids and chipped pieces of bones flowing and splattering out while Sandy continued– punch after punch after punch it just got worse– blood coating his friend's fist– splashing up to his elbows. The body squelched and cracked in noises so unholy it had the demon praying to the heavens it would stop and he could just forget the look in his friend’s eye– the look of pure, unfiltered, unadulterated rage as he beat the dead man again and again and again. It didn’t matter if he was punching a corpse, Sandy wouldn’t stop (maybe even couldn’t) until his rage– his bloodlust was satisfied.
Pigsy had known Sandy had anger issues, but never anything like this before…
Eventually, Tang sniffled and broke the embrace. “W-well… we should probably get you home– or to a hospital,” he smiled, looking over his shoulder. “Sandy–”
An unholy sound escaped Tang, as he instantly fell back and away from Sandy, grabbing Pigsy's arm as he watched in rigid terror. The sound was enough to make the river demon finally stop and stand, unnaturally still.
Pigsy struggled to make sound, the noise trapped in his throat. He tried to stand, and despite the fact it filled his chest with the intense burning of a thousand suns, he eventually got up.
“Sandy– it's– we can fix this, w-we just gotta get outta here, alright?” He looked around anxiously. The music was still thumping from inside the bar so it was impossible to hear if anyone was nearby, but Pigsy– Pigsy was sure they could make it.
“Y-yeah, we'll just– we just need to get outta here, alright? We'll just toss– toss… it, and then go to the apartment and just--we'll figure it out from there, alright Sands?” He forced a smile at Sandy, who didn't meet his eyes.
“Tang– Tang, let's get you up, okay? It's fine, we're all good, it's– we'll get new clothes, move to a new city, get new names– a new life. It'll be okay, everything is okay,” Pigsy tried helping Tang up, but his partner shriveled away from his touch, actively shaking with the wildest eyes Pigsy had ever seen.
“Tang– Tang, it's okay, it’s okay– we’ll just go home and lay low for awhile, it’s okay, please– just stand up and–”
“Pigsy, stop.” Sandy suddenly spoke up, deep voice cracking with emotion Pigsy couldn’t understand.
The pig blinked. “S-Sandy– Sandy, it’s okay, it’s gonna be okay–”
“No. It won’t.” He looked at Pigsy, revealing a face and bear battered with blood and bits of Pigsy’s attacker– a man– a person who was now completely annihilated and unrecognizable at the hands of the river demon.
Pigsy shook the thought away– he needed to get Sandy and Tang out of here, and fast. They were currently at the bar on Ba De and Shengli roads– Pigsy’s restaurant wouldn’t be for a couple blocks, but if Tang stopped by a corner store and got some baby wipes–
“Pigsy, you can’t make this better. Stop trying,” Sandy growled, making the chef take a step back directly against the wall of the bar.
“No! This– this can be fixed, he was an asshole anyways, w-we can just– we’re gonna go back to my place– Tang’ll go and buy baby wipes to clean you up a-and we’ll just fucking chill the fuck out for a couple days, alright?! It’ll be fucking fine!” Pigsy demanded, though shrank back when he saw Sandy’s eyes flash dangerously.
“Pigsy, it’s fucking over. Take Tang, and go home,” Sandy ordered.
“No! It’s– it ain’t over until I say it’s over and I don’t say so, s-so–!” Pigsy couldn’t stand looking at his friend, but everywhere else was stained and oozing and making Pigsy’s breathing even worse than before.
“Pigsy, it’s over, goddammit!” Sandy shouted, fists clenched in rage. “That man is dead, I killed him, and there is nothing you can do about it.”
“God, fucking– I didn't ask you to do this, Sandy!” Pigsy suddenly shouted, adrenaline pumping fast in his broken chest. “I had it handled! I coulda fixed this fucking problem all on my own but you had to be a fucking hero like you always do–”
“You really think if I hadn't arrived exactly when I did, your sorry ass wouldn't be bleeding out right now?” Sandy spat out a bitter laugh.
“I would've figured it out! But no! You have to go a-and make everything worse for yourself– and of course you won't let me fucking help you either! You're ridiculous!” Pigsy could laugh too, though it made him wince in pain.
“Take a look in a fucking mirror, Pigsy,” Sandy looked away and shook his head. “You need to get Tang and get outta here before you end up ruining not only your life, but Tang’s life too–”
“I didn't ask you to rescue me, alright?! You didn’t have to swoop in. I didn’t want this– I didn’t ask for this!” Pigsy’s voice cracked, and before he knew it tears started to form in his eyes.
“Yeah? Well I didn’t ask for you to be such a dipshit you’d let yourself get caught again, but you know by now we don’t all get what we want now, do we?” Sandy’s eyes narrowed.
“Jesus– this is just like you, you know that?” Pigsy threw his hands up, exasperated. “I go outta my way to try and protect you, and this is all the thanks I get. Nice. Real nice, Sandy,” he spat.
“Pigsy–”
“No… No, you know what?” Pigsy laughed, wiping his face of hot tears. “Let’s just– just shut up and go home already. Once we’re home, we can cool off a-and think straight and then we’ll have a plan for what we’re gonna do and what we’re gonna say. We just gotta get home first, I’m sure my Nana’ll be to help,” Pigsy tried to assert and grab Tang’s arm, but Sandy interfered.
“What, so you’ll drag her down too into this whole fucking nightmare too? Tang and yourself not good enough?” Sandy’s voice rumbled low and dangerous.
“Dammit, Sandy! I’m not letting you throw your life away! Not like this!” Pigsy begged, a sob making a quick escape before being suppressed.
“Pigsy, go before I make you,” Sandy warned, completely unmoved by the onslaught of emotion.
“No! I don’t care! I am getting you outta here a-and we’re gonna go home– and we’re gon–” Pigsy’s rambling was cut off by Sandy’s fist that sent him flying down the alley, another terrible shriek escaping Tang.
Immediate ringing flooded Pigsy’s ears, a fuzziness that had been mild before increasing tenfold now. He could feel Tang on him, grabbing him, shaking him, trying to see if he was okay. When Pigsy opened his eyes though, all he saw was Sandy holding the dead man’s knife and glaring down silently.
After a good, hard look, Sandy whispered, “Leave,” and before Pigsy could accept or refuse, Tang grabbed his arm and forced him to run up and away.
They made it all the way to the opposite block before they stopped, Pigsy's sides stinging and head throbbing too much to go on like that. Once the fuzziness cleared and the ringing in his head stopped, he finally got a good look at Tang and–
Oh. Oh god– he was still shaking like an animal, eyes wide and muttering utter nonsense to himself, a waterfall of tears streaming down his face as he rubbed his arms up and down and up and down.
“Tang– Tang, it's okay, you're okay,” Pigsy grabbed his shoulders, successfully getting his partner to look at him and loosen his shoulders a bit.
However, the second he relaxed he began to wretch and quickly stumbled to the nearest trash can where he puked his brains out while sobbing.
“Hey now, it's alright, you're okay Tang, I got you, you're alright,” Pigsy soothed tiredly, rubbing circles into his back while the scholar trembled at the effort.
It took ten minutes, but when he was done, Tang embraced his demonic partner, burying his head into his shoulder and sobbing out apologies and fears and worries and promises at lightning speeds. It made Pigsy feel like he was going to puncture a rib, but let Tang have his words, pressing a soft kiss against his head he didn't care if anyone saw and nuzzling close.
“It's alright, Tang. I got you. You're safe. It'll be okay,” he whispered, tears stinging his eyes yet again. He couldn't have chosen a more blatant lie in his life– his best friend killed someone, and was just left facing it all alone– it wasn't right! It wasn't fair! And by God was it infuriating.
Sandy was probably going to be sentenced to death for his crime, meaning the last interaction the two would ever have was him punching Pigsy in his stupid face.
Pigsy clenched his eyes shut and buried his face in Tang's scarf, finally letting out a loud sob.
His best friend was going to die because of him.

AN: Not crazy about this chapter, BUT there is smut at the end so...
Tumblr media
I sit at the bar watching the TV. A newscaster babbles on, “As all nations race to secure uranium and control the future of energy, a shortage has emerged, turning even allies into potential competitors. Will energy prices surge this winter and will it lead to an expanded war?” I chuckle softly with the shake of my head, finishing my drink. I see the familiar figure of my old friend. My old friend who sounds like he’s gotten caught up in the communist bullshit. “Sorry you couldn't make it to the party the other night, Charlie,” he looks at me with a blank face. “Guess you had one of your meetings, huh? One of your Communist meetings?” He sighs, taking the seat next to me, “Come on, man.”
“We watched people die together up north fighting against all that horseshit.” He shrugs, “Yeah, and for what?” I scoffed, “What do you mean, for what? For the American dream. We're actors. We make movies, Charlie.”
“Yeah, the American dream has me getting shot in the ass by you all day.” I roll my eyes at his excuse. “You got five acres in Tarzana. I think you're doing all right.” He shakes his head, “It doesn't matter, Coop. Vault-Tec's the fucking devil, man.” I weigh in. “Vault Tech is a shifty company. I’ll give you that. My ex-wife works there. She’s a lot of things, but the devil? Come on now.” “Do you know what "fiduciary responsibility" means?” “Fiduciary responsibility? No, I have no fucking idea. I play a cowboy for a living.”
Charlie goes on, “Okay. So, the U.S. government has outsourced the survival of the human race to Vault-Tec. Vault-Tec is a private corporation that has a fiduciary responsibility to make money for its investors. And how does it make money? By selling vaults.” “That's called capitalism, Charlie.” He continued digging, “But they can't sell vaults if these peace negotiations go through. So Vault-Tec has a fiduciary responsibility to make sure that it doesn't work out.” I can’t even wrap my head around his speech. “Yeah. How are they gonna do that?” He falls flat, “I don't know. You remember that movie we did with Johnny Morton… you were the sheriff and I was some generic Indian?” I disagree, “Come on, man, don't say that. Tall hand Mudlake could talk to horses. You played him with grace and with dignity. It was a great role for you.”
“Morton played a rancher who owned half of Missouri. And what happens when the cattle ranchers have more power than the sheriff?” “The whole town burns down.” “Right. Vault-Tec is a trillion-dollar company that owns half of everything. And after ten years of war, the U.S. government is broker than a joke. The cattle ranchers are in charge, Coop.” I wave at his words again, “Come on, man, you sound like you're in a cult.” He fires back, “And you're sitting here defending a system that's ready to set the world on fire, Cooper. Maybe you're the one in the cult.”
I look away with the roll of my eye. He slides a card on the bar. “Look. You should come to a meeting. You should learn the truth about where your ex-wife works, and what they plan on doing with their employees. For (y/n)‘s sake.” With one final smile, my friend leaves the bar. Leaving me confused and a knot rolling in my chest.
Why the fuck would (y/n) be or any danger with Vault Tech? I stare at the card and begin to dive down a hole I’d rather not be sober for. I raise my hand, gesturing to the bartender, “Bartender, can I get one more?”
~
I caved and went to attend Charlie’s meeting. It was a basic conspiracy for weak-minded individuals. She sits at the front, coffee in hand. “These soldiers that we're fighting abroad, their families, we have more in common with them than we do with the people here in power, the real enemy.” I shake my head, “That's about all the horseshit I can take.” I stand, place my hat back on my head, and make my way to the exit.
“Mr. Howard?” I stop as she addresses me. “I'm sorry, I didn't hear what you said.” I raise my eyebrows at her, “I said that um… this is about all the horseshit I can take.” She smirks, “I didn't realize that America's favorite gunslinger was so sensitive.” She earns soft laughter from her followers. “I have my principles, Miss Williams, that's all.” I try to leave once more but she begins the conversation again, “Uh-huh. And those principles of yours… how much did Vault-Tec pay to take them off your hands?”
“Well, this is America. Everybody has a sponsor, and, uh, I'm not ashamed to earn a living.” She bickers back, “Vault-Tec is the largest company in America. There's a lot of money in selling the end of the world.” I couldn’t take her words. I fire back to her, “Well, I'm sure there's a lot of money in selling a political ideology that ends in breadlines.”
As the crowd gets upset, Charlie stands and backs away with me, “Okay, uh, sorry, this was a mistake. We'll be leaving.” Miss Williams shakes her head, coming to stand. “Oh, no, I'm-I'm quite glad you brought Mr. Howard today. You see, it happens that I know your wife… or Ex-wife. And perhaps a side of her you don't.”
I walk out and she follows close on my heels, catching up by my side. “How do you know my ex-wife?” “My research company was acquired by her division. We were developing this kind of technology that's… difficult to monetize. Cold fusion. Infinite energy. Several projects were advancing. Synthetic creations. That's what I was on the verge of achieving when Vault-Tec swept in and bought up every company I'd ever worked for.” I stare at her with no hesitation, “Every one of them? So, what are you, a millionaire communist?”
“Hypocrisy is like violence in your movies. If you only let the bad guys use it, the bad guys win.” “Yeah? I, uh, I got a little showbiz secret for you. A good bad guy doesn't see themselves as the bad guy.”
She pushes more, “America has been locked in a resource war for over a decade. Vault-Tec bought the means to end that war, the same war you fought in, so they could put it on the shelf. All because it didn't fit into their business model. I want your help in getting it back.” She passes a small device into my palm. I roll the small object in my fingers, “What is it?” “It's a listening device.”
I nod, disbelief running through my mind. “A listening device. You… you want me to spy on them?” I chuckled softly, passing it back, “Good luck with the revolution.” She shakes her head, “You can keep it. As a token.” She sighs, “I'm not a communist, Mr. Howard. That's just a dirty word they use to describe people who aren't insane.” I meet her with silence. She speaks once more in a hushed voice, stepping closer, “I understand you have a fond relationship with Ms. (L/n). If I were you, I’d be keeping her at a distance from Vault Tech. They have plans for her.” I clenched my jaw, “what the hell are you on about?” She taps the small listening device before turning on her heel and returning to her meeting.
~
I sit on the couch bouncing my knee, paranoid, thinking the worst of what could happen to (y/n). They could kidnap her. Keep her trapped in one of those damn vaults. They could kill her!
To add to the stress, we were about to set Janey down and talk to her. I roll the divine in my pocket overthinking the worst. My nerves got the best of me, and I gave up, going to the pip-boy on the counter. The divide pairs within seconds. Just in time for Barb to walk out and retrieve the bulky oversized wrist technology. She straps it onto her wrist before looking at me, eyebrows raised. “Are you ready?” I nod, “Yeah. I'll be out there in just a minute.”
She nods and exits the house. I watch as she sits down with Janey. I place the listening divide in my ear, clearly hearing Barb and Janey from outside. Roosevelt whines causing me to shake my head. There was no logical reason to believe anything those conspiracy theorists had to say. “You're right, Roosevelt,” I tuck the small device into my pocket, “What are you thinking?”
Janey has to be the smartest, and most intelligent little girl in the world. I had been very honest in explaining how her mother and I just didn’t feel the same and how we were going to be living away from each other. She knew something had been off for months. She had no issue expressing her feelings and opinions on the scheduling. “As long as daddy and (y/n) can take me for ice cream every other Friday!” I smile at Janey, while Barb does not. She simply ignores it.

The sun rose on Saturday morning, kissing the land of California. I stand on the back patio with a cup of coffee just taking in the beauty. It had been a month to the day since Cooper and I started dating. Life was good. I was happy. He was here more days out of the week than not. I couldn’t think of a better day than today to tell him the news.
The sliding glass door catches my attention. Cooper walks out, coffee in hand and a smile on his face. He wraps an around around me, nuzzling into my neck. “Good morning.” It’s such a perfect paradise with him at this moment. “Good morning, love.” I lean back into him, rubbing my fingertips up his arm, tracing each speck and freckle. “I have a surprise for you.” He looks down, trying to find a hint within my soul. “What type of surprise?” I turn around in his hold, now facing him. “A good one. I think you’ll be pleased with it.” He trails a finger down the front of my chest, dipping into my robe, brushing my concealed skin. “Wouldn’t happen to be you would it?” I shake my head, moving out of his grasp before I get caught up. “Nope. Get dressed Mr. Howard because we are going on a little adventure.”
We both get ready and exit my house. I get into the driver's seat before he can argue. "So where are we going?" I smirk at him as I begin to drive to the secret location. "You'll see."
We pass the line in Bakersfield and Cooper looks at me, even more confusion in his eyes. 30 more minutes down the line we pull up to a gate. I flip the keypad and enter the entrance code. The large gate slides open and I drive up the start of a long gravel driveway. Cooper looks at the surroundings in awe. The lush land filled with vegetation, and life. "6 acres on each side. There's a big barn in the back. I figured Sugarfoot could have his own space." Cooper sits silently as we pull up to the large cabin. I park the car and turn off the engine. I exit with a smile. "Are you coming?"
Cooper gets out of the vehicle, mouth gaping as he tries to make sense of the situation. "What did… Is this…" I grab his hand, intertwining our fingers. "It's ours." I pull the keys from my pocket and dangle them in front of his face. "How did you do this?" I waved my hand at him, "It was nothing. Heather and her boyfriend are sold in California. I offered them my house at an amazing rate, and I was able to get this place up here."
I squeeze his hands with a nervous smile. "I knew this was a risk. A huge one, but I know we had talked about it before, and it was just the perfect opportunity. It just… felt right." Cooper finally breaks into a smile, he hoists me up into his arms. I laugh in surprise, "What in the world are you doing?" He smiles charmingly down at me. "Well, I'm carrying you through the threshold of our new home, sweetheart." Nothing could be better than this moment. He passes through the doorway, the warmth of the cabin enveloping us in its glow.
"What you say we… break in a few rooms? See if the acoustics are good for that angelic voice of yours. I want you to sing for me, honey. Just the way you know I like." He kisses up my neck mumbling into my skin. Room by room Cooper drew orgasm from me. Each one is stronger than the last.
He carries me from the kitchen counter to the long hallway, posting me up on the wall, fucking into me with long thrusts. I moan out loudly the sound carrying through the halls. Cooper smirks, biting his lip as he hears my echoed pants bouncing off the walls.
''That's my girl,'' Cooper rumbled out, pressing his fingers into my cheeks, forcing me to glue my eyes on him. I summoned every ounce of strength I had to begin lifting my hips away from him. I couldn't take anymore, and he knew it. The pressure eased as his girth slowly withdrew from the depths of my sensitive walls. He pushes me into the wall further, deepening his thrusts.
I mewled involuntarily to his sudden way to keep me still. ''I don't think I can-'' I managed to blurt out, despite the trembling rushing through my entire body as his strong hands held me firmly in place.
''Of course, you can, sweetheart.'' He cooed through a strained groan. The stretch of his length was just right, so satisfying that made me want to writhe and squirm on top of him, to lose myself in the rawness of the moment. The friction of our bodies, the sound of our combined breaths, the intoxicating scent of cigarettes and expensive perfume hanging heavy in the air.
''Cooper,'' I cried out from the immense fullness of his length, unable to contain the bliss as every nerve in my body was set on fire. One of his hands traced a path up the curve of my side, his touch sending electric tingles through my skin, each movement leaving a trail of warmth in its wake.
He exits my heat, earning a whine from me. He moves us to lie on the sofa. He guided me to sit on his lap, lining his length up again. He kisses up my spine. He lifted one hand from my hip, a tender touch that trailed the expanse of my body until it reached my face and cupped my cheek to tilt my head downwards, coaxing me to meet his gaze.
Cooper leaned close, his breath warm against my ear, "Show me what a good cowgirl you can be." He murmured, the boom of his voice low and primal. As soon as he spoke those words, my hips jerked into action. I leaned back against his chest, grinding down on him, rising and falling on his cock like a bitch in heat.
''That's right, sweetheart,'' Cooper strained,  breathless mumbling reverberated through the warm cabin. He slipped a hand from my hips and with ease, he directed his attention to the most sensitive bud of nerves.
His touch met the tender flesh, I gasped at the sensation, the smooth pad of his finger gliding over the bundle of my clit. Cooper groaned from behind, ''You just keep riding me like that," He helped put motion into my movement. I was a mess, sobs escaped as the pleasure ripped through me.
I surrendered myself completely to him once more, needing nothing but him. Always him. Mustering up all the strength in my legs, I bounced on him even harder than before. My walls tightened around Coooper's length, and my climax finally burst. The waves crash causing me to see stars.
With each clench, I felt him twitch from inside. I lean back as he says, "Stay inside, Cooper." He sucked in a breath, biting into the skin of my shoulder. His thrusts are relentless as he pursues his release. All it took was a few more thrusts, and his body was convulsing beneath me, his movements seeming almost otherworldly while he emptied himself inside my cunt.
He lurched forward, dragging me close to his bare chest. He slowly rolled us over, his cock slipped free. I sighed heavily, but satiated and nestled into him. "Home sweet fucking home." Cooper leaned down and pressed a gentle kiss to my forehead. ''I say we broke in every fuckin inch of this place, sweetheart."

Part 2 is 21 pages. Part 1 was 16 pages. Combine that together and that's a 37 page request I pumped out in a day.
oops.
Warning: NSFW, Strong-Language, Dirty Talk, Slight Praise Kink, a bit of jealous behavior, mention of character death, bug violence(?), bit of PTSD
Pairing: Gunslinger!Kyle x Fem!Reader
Tumblr media
When you finally woke up, the first thing that came to your mind was just how dry your mouth felt. You swallow roughly and it burns the back of your throat in a different way the alcohol of last night did. It felt like you were trying to swallow steel wool, forcing what little saliva pooled in your mouth down your throat.
The second thing was the fact the horse had gone back to a slow trot. No longer could you hear hooves on cobblestone. The wind was no longer whipping around your head and through your hair. The smell of the city long gone, now replaced with a deep earthy scent.
The third was the feeling of Kyle's arms still wrapped around you, one pulls away from your side for a moment. You feel him move around, trying to rub the sleep out of his eyes. He presses his fingers into his heavy eyelids before returning them to the reigns.
Finally, all three things fall into place as you piece it all together. Kyle feels the way your body bolts up away from his chest and brings his horse to a stop. He pulls her off to the crummy dirt road and off to the side.
"Oh! I apologize! I didn't mean to fall asleep like that! I can't believe I just passed out!" Panic sets into your voice and guilt eats at you when you realize he probably rode all through the night.
"It's fine ma'am. I figured you could use the rest. Please don't take any offense or nothin' but you look like you ain't seen much shut eye." Kyle smiles at you holding his hand up to try and settle you.
"I-.... you’d be right. Still, that's no excuse. You're still a stranger, the fact that I just fell asleep like that..."
"A stranger you shot a man for. A stranger you saved from gettin' strangled to death. I never did get to thank you for that." He pauses for a moment as he gets down from the horse. Kyle takes the reigns with him, choosing to walk along aside the horse now. "I've only had a few people in my time willin' to do somethin' like that for me and I at least know their names."
It hits you like a brick. In less than twenty-four hours you got into your first ever bar fight, shot a shotgun, slugged a man with said shotgun, all but bribed the sheriff, ran off with a man who didn't even know your name, and then fell asleep on said man who didn't even know your name. You catch yourself staring down at the handsome gunslinger, breaking yourself out of the daze trance like stare. It was hard not to admire him; looks aside he's been nothing but a delight to you. It would have been all too easy for him to just dump you off somewhere, leaving you and your problems behind.
Instead, here he was. Walking alongside you and his horse, without even so much as asking you about your business. Why you wanted to go out West, or why you needed to hire him in the first place. You hadn't even told him how much you were paying him for all of this.
"Ma'am?" Oh, right, your name.
"I'm being all types of rude, aren't I? I'm sorry..."
"Ain't nothin' to apologize for. I figured you got a reason for keepin' secrets. If you don't wanna tell me, I ain't gonna make ya." He shrugs.
It takes you a minute to gather your thoughts, but when you do you finally gain the courage to ask him. "Why are you being so accepting about all of this? Shouldn't you be surprised or at the very least upset?"
"The way I see it, you saved my skin back there twice. Once with Knucklehead and the other with the Sheriff." He says sheriff with a sneer, "I owe you. Besides the way you begged the sheriff to let us go, I could tell you were in some kind of trouble. Wouldn't be right of me to turn my back on someone who needed help."
"So, what, you're just doing this out of obligation and the kindness of your heart?"
That makes him laugh again, but he quickly shakes his head. "Guess you could put it like that. Walk the righteous path and clear all debts sort of ordeal. But I don't think it goes that deep. Like I told the bartender last night, I'm just a simple fella tryin' to make a livin'."
You sit on his horse in awe, if this was an act he was putting on it was a damn fine one. You run your fingers through the horse’s mane, brushing out the sand and dirt on the poor creature who must be so tired. She huffs a little, but she doesn't move her head, so you continue.
After a few moments of walking and silence, you tell him your name. Your full name.
Every time you speak, he gives you his full attention, looking up at you with that gentle smile. You expect his eyes to widen like everyone else's when you drop your last name, your family was famous after all. Instead, he nods along and practices the sound of your name on his tongue.
He says it again and hearing it whispered in that voice of his sounds divine. Once he likes the way it feels and sits, he turns back to the road and keeps walking.
"Pretty name...like the way it sounds. I hate the fact that I ain't gonna get to use it much." His lips purse, talking like he's just mumbling to himself.
"What do you mean?"
"Well, it wouldn't be real wise to be usin' your name if you're tryin' to go into hidin'. Even if we are on the road alone, I don't wanna take any chances. If I get in the habit of usin' your name, I ain't gonna wanna stop." He brings the rim of his hat down over his eyes trying to hide the blush on his face. Even though he says it with such confidence it's hard to look you in the eye.
He's not alone, his words have a greater effect on you than he knows. You pull the cloak still wrapped around your body closer to your form, burying your face in the material. Maybe you could just rub your flushed face away or at the very least it would buy you time to slow your heartbeat down.
Kyle was right about one thing. Your last name has brought you nothing but trouble your whole life. So, for now you'd get rid of it, toss it to the side like the various newspapers you saw littering the city streets. Let it drift away and be carried by the Eastern winds. It was time to leave the city girl you were raised to be behind; you were going out West now.
"The only thing I can't seem to wrap my head around." Kyle breaks the silence between you two again. "Is how someone like you learned to shoot like that."
"How do you mean? It doesn't take much to point a gun at someone and pull the trigger, can't really miss with a shotgun when you're that close."
"That's what I'm askin'. It don't take much to pull a trigger, but you knew how to hold it. Held her like you knew her."
"How'd a lawyers boy go from that to being a bounty hunter?" You ask, bringing up the little fact that Sheriff Cartman spat at him last night.
His lips press together in a thin line and for a moment you feel like you might have crossed a line. Said something you shouldn't have, but when his shoulders slump forward you can feel something different. It's not anger in his eyes, maybe regret? Hurt that rests behind those tired green eyes.
"I don't know why I'm tellin' you this. But we're gonna be together for a while, might as well make conversation I suppose." Again, he talks like he's not really talking to you. His inner thoughts spilling from his mouth like brandy in a bottle. "It was bandits."
Your blood runs cold, that could mean anything but, in this context, you had a feeling it wasn't a good one. Your fingers brush down the coat of the horse as he talks, finding comfort in the animal. You can feel the warm and gentle breathing coming from her. If you squint, you could almost swear they had lined up their breathes. She would take in an inhale, and he would let out a puff of air.
"Pa was a lawyer, Ma was a stay-at-home mama. He made enough for all of us and another. I have a baby brother they adopted when I was younger." He goes to tell his story with a little pause in between.
"You said have. He still around?" That question hurts to ask, but curiosity was gnawing at you. You wanted to know more about this gunslinger, that included the bad too.
"Yeah. I think it was when I was fifteen? Pa was puttin' me through school, was studyin' to be like him. I was gonna put away bad people just like him." He takes his hat off with his free hand, he stares down at the inside of the hat. You catch a glimpse of stiches and patchy line work. Past the scuff marks and tears on the old thing it looks like someone tried to patch it back together again. Enough to where it would hold up. But past that there was a little black and white picture tucked in the makeshift pocket of one of the patches.
A skinny man, honestly looked like a strong gust of wind could blow him away, standing next to the most gorgeous looking woman you've ever seen. Her hair was put up in a tight bun, curves on every ounce of her that made her look like something out of those fancy paintings. The dress she wore clung to her body and on her lap was a little boy. Black hair that didn't match the shade of grey on either of the adults behind him. He had a big toothy grin on his face as he held an outstretched hand for the other boy beside him.
It was Kyle. Much younger than he is now, hopeful looking face with his hair cut short and kept clean. The curls sat neatly on the top of his head, and he dressed like some of the men your father did business with. Fine button up grey shirt tucked into a pair of black slacks. A grey tie came down from his collar that disappeared behind a black vest. Still had that soft smile on his face as he looked at the camera.
He quickly puts the hat back on feeling your eyes peering down behind him. Again, you felt like you got a peek into something you shouldn't have seen. If he was bothered you couldn't tell, he just kept talking.
"Pa was always real good at that, puttin' bad people away. Could do it the civilized way, take him down and give 'em a trial. Rely on the system to put 'em behind bars and supposably reform 'em." He scoffs at that statement, "lotta good all that did. Pa put away the wrong man. Some no name bandit leader thinkin' he could take the short way through life and rob some rich folk."
Kyle stops, completely. Stops the horse, stops talking and just stares down at the ground below. You watch a little red scorpion scurry after its dinner. Stinger pulled back and at the ready.
"Men like that got one thing goin' for 'em. They travel in numbers. Numbers that don't like when you mess with their own. Pa wasn't even the man that brought that bandit leader in, but he was the reason why he'd never walk under the sun again. They were gonna keep that no named man locked away in the deepest parts of their holdin' cells. His men didn't like that idea much."
The scorpion chases the target down until they come to a ledge. Something that would be so easy for you to just step over, something that would barely be an obstacle in your way. But for the tiny bug that was fleeing for its life, it was the end of the road. It wasn't dexterous enough to try and make it over the little ledge, the path to freedom taunting it as it falls on its back.
"Don't really know what they were thinkin' or how they came to the conclusion. But they decided in the dead of night they'd...burn down the town? Came in on horseback makin' all types of racket. I remember Ma pushing my brother in my hands an' tellin' me to run out to where we kept the stagecoach. Somethin'-" He chokes and clears his throat to collect himself. "Somethin' about the horses already hitched and ready. To just jump on and wait for her and Pa."
The scorpion closes in on the bug. His stinger blocking the view of the sun, casting the shadow of death over the poor thing.
"I protested, wanted to stay and help her pack bags. Carry somethin' other than my cryin' brother." His hands clutch the sarape around his body, right where his heart would be. "She told me not to argue with her and to get my ass outside. Never heard her curse before..."
The bug kicks its little legs, trying to roll off its back. It squirms, fights, and rocks trying to do anything. Anything but die.
"I did what she told me. Go where she told me. You don't question your mama when she tells you to do somethin' ya know?" He licks his lips, and you wonder if they're as dry as yours are right now. "I put my brother and I in the carriage and I wait for 'em. Then...the house just...erupts. One of those sons of bitches threw somethin' against the side of the house and it catches a blaze."
Kyle closes his eyes, a bead of sweat drips down his face. Like he can still feel the roaring flames against his face. The poor man is standing there reliving it all.
The scorpion finally brings its stinger down. Strikes the pathetic creature in the stomach one good time. The venom does its job, you're sure if the little thing could scream out it would. Instead, it just goes slack, goes limp and dies.
"I... I didn't know what to do. I had just learned to drive the damn thing, so I grabbed the reigns and snapped it. If it wasn't for my brother, I probably would've run into that blazing hell. Probably be a dead man too."
"Probably." Your voice finally pipes up. Kyle looks up at you and you're not giving him the look of pity others have when he tells this tale. Your face is softened sure but there's nothing in those eyes that tell him you're looking down at him.
"That's the last time I saw 'em. Last time I said good night...I only wished I woulda got to say I love you."
The scorpion closes in on its meal. Now that it's not trying to run it figures it can eat in peace. Pinchers at the ready to pick the corpse up.
"I didn't. Spent a lotta time wishin', and a lotta time gettin' good with a gun. Pa taught me there were other ways to take a man down, not everythin' had to be solved with violence. We could do it humane like instead of usin' a gun. Just a shame I turned out to be a damn good shot."
Kyle starts walking again, and as he does, he walks over the scorpion. Crushing the creature under his heel without a second thought. You watch as when he moves his heel the thing lays there with the sand already started to claim it's body. You wonder if it got to at least get a bite of what it worked so hard for.
"So that's how you started bounty hunting?"
"Yep. Started with the assholes that took my parents from me and my brother. Guess they're the only people I never brought in alive."
"Really?!" That was a part of the man you didn't learn from rumors.
"I'm flattered you seem to think I had the ability to bring in fifteen men all by my lonesome, but no. I gave 'em the same treatment they gave my parents." Most men would be proud of that, say it with their chests out. Kyle doesn't, he keeps his eyes on the road and his head down.
"You burned them?"
"Set their whole lil' hideout on fire. Got a bottle of whiskey, drank some of it for courage and then tucked a cloth in the rest of it. Lit the sucker on fire and tossed it."
You try not to imagine the sounds that fifteen men on fire would make, or the fact that not even one of them got away. Kyle was a lucky man that there weren't a few to make it out of that fire that night. Who knows what would have happened if he was caught or worse, they lived to enact revenge like Kyle had.
"Took my brother to an old friend’s ranch and we stayed there for a while. You ever hear of the Marsh family?"
"Sure. They're famous ranchers, good at breakin' in horses and growin' crops."
"Their son is my best friend. I call that man my brother. Call him that until I take my final breath." A smile finally comes back to his face, talking about someone that means so much to him seems to put him at ease.
"Why'd ya leave?" You ask, letting a smile come across your face at the sight of his.
"Didn't feel right just sittin' around. Plus, if word got out that I was stayin' in one place I figured it'd just bring trouble. My brother didn't do nothin' so I asked if I could leave him there. Been out on the road ever since, I send him letters from time to time but it ain't easy gettin' 'em out to me so I just assume he's alright."
"You should visit your brother...I'm sure he misses you." You tell him. It almost breaks your heart the way his smile doesn't reach his eyes.
"With the reputation I built up, I'd only be bringin' danger to his doorstep. I couldn't do that to him or Stan." That must be his friend he mentioned, you note. "I take what I earn from bounty hunting and send it their way. Just because I chose to throw away the life our Pa had set out for me, doesn't mean he's gotta. Every nickel and dime I get goes to keepin' me goin' and buildin' a better life for him."
Your heart swells, swells with admiration and pain. It hurts to see a man who so clearly loves his family have to keep himself away from what little he has left of it. Who has to distance himself from the two people he'd call brother. Neither really blood related to him but they might as well be. You can't help but admire him, how he tries to carry all that responsibility on his back. You thought the tired look in his eye was just from staying up all night and riding into the morning.
"Kyle, that's incredibly brave of you. Putting yourself out there for your brother, if it means anything...I don't think you're throwing your life away." You find that courage you somehow mustered up last night and put your hand over his, the one that still has the reigns. He looks up at you, watching as the sun sits behind your head like a halo. You bend down a bit and get closer to him, whispering as if someone was listening in. "I think what you're doing is the most noble thing I've ever heard. You're the kind of man they talk about in story books...if I didn't believe in you before I do now. Thank you."
"For....for what?" He asks and swallows, his adams apple bobs. For the first time in a long time, he can't seem to find his voice, it drops to a low whisper.
But could anyone blame him? The way you look at him so gently, every little blink of your eyelashes has him sinking deeper and deeper into the color of your eyes. That golden sun behind you makes you look like an angel, and maybe you are one. As far as Kyle is concerned only an angel could look at him like that. Find a way to admire him and sing his praise after being told he set fifteen men to hell in a blaze of hate.
"For being you. I used to not think there were good men out there, but you're changing that." You say it like it's the simplest thing on earth. Like he should have just known the answer to that.
But when you say it, it's like being punched in the chest. You have your hands so tightly wrapped around his heart he's sure if you say anything else he's going to keel over. He lets himself have this moment, lets a breath escape his chest and holds onto each little word you said.
"Ma'am, you ain't got a clue as to what you're sayin'. You don't know me well enough to be passin' judgement like that."
"Hm. Good thing I'm a real good judge of character. A man as bad as you claim to be would've robbed me blind especially if he knew for a fact, I was carrying enough money on me to buy your friends ranch."
His eyes widen at that, he stares at you as if you just told him the sky was red and the rapture was coming. Kyle's respone catches in his throat, unable to say anything at that. You can't help but laugh at that, the sweet sound coming from your lips makes his knees weak.
You toss him the stained white bag of cash, the once pure white cloth now soiled by the desert sands. Dirt clings to it but that doesn't stop him from catching it and opening it up. True to your word, there was so much cash in here Kyle could probably beat a man to death with it.
"You walked into that damn saloon with this?!" Kyle yelled quickly, closing the bag.
"I risked a lot on trying to find you." You say with a little shrug. "Sold everything I owned, took what I could carry and set out to hire you."
"You're either crazy or desperate. Please, for the love of God don't take offense to this."
You laugh again and shake your head; you couldn't argue with him. He was right. Maybe you were both, but it was either this or get unlucky one day and go missing. You'd take your chances with the handsome man next to you. At least he wasn't a stranger much anymore.
"I just got tired of the life I was living. Heard there was good opportunity out West. Figured I could settle in Texas or...Colorado?"
"Colorado?! Ma'am if this is some elaborate plot to give me a heart attack just to take me out, you're doin' a damn fine job." He clutches the bag into his chest and takes a deep breath. Quickly he stuffs the bag into the saddle bag on his horse. She stirs a little and shakes her head letting him know that her patience is running thin.
"So, you're suggesting Texas?"
"It's better than fuckin' God damn Colorado!" The way Kyle's cursing picks up when he's stressed is kind of adorable.
Laughter echoes down the road all the way out of the state. You finally find yourself off the East coast for the first time in your life. The company you keep makes it all the better! Eventually you stop at the nearest town and purchase your own horse. You have to slow down a little because Kyle has to all but teach you how to mount her and how to keep her from freaking out. He's calm and patient with you the entire time, only laughing at you a few times when you forget to buckle the saddle completely and almost slide right off. He teaches you how to take care of her and you end up spending most nights swapping stories by campfires.
You're somewhere deep in the state of Missouri, where exactly you're not sure that's Kyle's job. The night sky hangs above your heads with the stars staring down at you. Each little twinkle makes you think they're winking down at you. Kyle's told you that a few of the stars have names and stories behind them, you let him ramble on about it for hours before informing him that you already knew all that. The look on his face alone was enough to make you laugh.
You must have laughed again because Kyle's looking up from the worn-out map up at you now. He has a lazy smirk, the corners of his lips hidden behind the scruff on his face that's starting to grow in. His hair just now starting to go back to when you first met him, he's shaved it off a few times since your journey much to your dismay. You complained for days when he first did it only to be met with an eye roll.
That was something you always noted, that whenever you would complement Kyle's appearance, he'd brush you off or find a way to deflect. Telling you that you were the pretty one or that you were just seeing things because you weren't drinking enough water. The heat was getting to you, and you needed to take some time by the shade.
But he really was a handsome man, the rugged look didn't really line up with his personality but damn if it didn't do something to you. Being next to the man for so long, having made the first real connection with another person for the first time in your life. Well, it was getting harder and harder not to see him in a different light.
Especially since every moment leading up to this point, Kyle would do everything in his power to protect you. Putting himself in harm’s way time and time again just to make sure you'd be safe. Bandits thinking the both of you were easy picking, Kyle's reputation didn't reach every corner of the country. And the few times it did, it only encouraged people like Knucklehead to try and take a shot at bringing him down. There were a few times people recognized you. Someone had put out missing wanted posters with your face plastered all over them.
Of course, when danger came rearing its ugly head, Kyle would be there by your side. At first it was a lot of him taking shots for you, you patching him up. Using those studies your parents provided, removing bullets, and cleaning the wound left behind wasn't exactly what you had studied but eventually you got the hang of it. Each time you'd scold him to be more careful, he'd argue that catching bullets with his body wasn't something he liked doing. And each time just as you'd finish bandaging him back up, he'd give you a look that had your heart fluttering. His eyelids would lower down, and his lips would part in just a way that made them look so kissable. But every time you'd think you got the courage to just do it, he'd pull away and wish you a good night. Disappearing in his tent as if he wasn't just staring at you thinking the same thing.
Little did you know he was thinking the same thing. Countless nights he'd stay awake at night, tossing and turning in his bedroll trying to get the image of you so close out of his head. It had been a long time since Kyle felt this close with anyone, much less got to share the road with another person. Those little moments where you'd brush your fingers over his exposed skin or when you'd wake up nice and early to make sure he got something in his stomach before riding off. It made it harder and harder to want to not make you, his woman. To not take you up in his arms and take you into his tent for the night.
But that's not why you hired him. Once he got you to Colorado, he'd drop you off, probably stick around long enough to make sure you were settled, and then be on his way. Leaving you in that state all by yourself and he'd return to wherever the road took him. That thought filled him with an indescribable loneliness, one he tried to keep out of his head. He tried to focus on how good he felt just being near you, savoring the moments he got with you now.
Like how pretty you looked when you sat next to the fire, back against a log that he dragged over to make it a little more comfortable. A book resting in your lap and a page between your fingers, some novel you both picked up and swapped back and forth. How every time you looked over at him thinking you could steal a few glances without him noticing, only to be caught in the act. Ever since he met you back at the bar you would avert your eyes from him and try to find something else to look at or pretend that you were looking past him. He found it so cute.
"Somethin' funny darlin'?" You don't know when he started calling you that, can't recall but every single time it makes your heart leap.
"Just thinking about that time, you were telling me about the stars. How I'm gonna miss this..."  You say with a little shrug and smile, reaching down next to you to grab the bottle of wine.
"You'll still be able to see 'em in Colorado. In fact, I hear they're mighty pretty over the desert." He says watching you take a drink from the bottle.
"It's not the same." You wipe your mouth with the sleeve of your blouse, the red liquid staining the shirt. "It's not the same if you don't have someone to share it with."
It's Kyle's turn to blush a little, he gives you a little hum and a nod like he understands. There's a moment where he thinks his heart stops, but it thumps against his chest, and he finds it in him to speak up. "You always know just what to say to make a man flustered huh?"
"Since when have I talked to other men like this?" You ask scooting a little closer to him, that night wind pushing you a little closer to his warmth.
"I don't quite recall..." He mumbles meeting you halfway.
Kyle helps close the gap between the both of you until your thighs are touching. The material of his jeans brush against your legs, exposed because of the skirt clips holding your skirt to where they just cover your thighs.
"Think it would work on another man?" Your voice drops to a whisper.
His brows furrow at that and his face twists into a scowl. You watch the way his eyes narrow and darken a little. He huffs and you can smell the scent of coffee on his breath. Kyle doesn't say anything, instead he goes for the wine bottle in your hand. The man takes a swig of it, trying to hide the jealous feeling that's starting to creep up on him.
"Reckon it would... if you had the backbone to be talkin' to other men."
"What's that supposed to mean?" It's your turn to furrow your brows at him, they knit together.
"Just sayin' you ain't exactly a smooth talker with everyone you come across. I seem to remember a certain run in with that snake oil salesman that was tryin' to get you to agree to go on a lil' date with him." He taps the bottle against his lips a few times before taking another drink.
You take the bottle from him, crawling over his lap to reach the darn thing. You press your palm into his thigh and suddenly he's very aware of just how close you are to him. Kyle isn't sure if you're doing on purpose but either way it makes his dick twitch against the fabric of his pants.
He doesn't give you time to protest as he moves the bottle out of reach, holding it back just as you brush your fingertips against the cool glass. "No, I think I remember you fumblin' over your words and I had to come over and tell the fella you weren't interested."
Damn him. Damn that handsome red head for calling you out and looking so cocky while doing it. His smirk returns as he cocks his head down at you, the way his lips glisten against the campfire almost has you distracted. Almost.
But you wanted your wine, so you take another lunge for it. Pressing your body into him to try and climb over and snatch it back. His hand comes down to your waist, keeping you in place.
"Ah! No ma'am, I think someone's had enough. All that talk about flirtin' with other men ain't much like you. Think this is messin' with your head." He tuts and shifts you in his lap. He's hoping you don't feel the effect you're having on him.
"You know what I think Broflovski? I think you're jealous!" You challenge crossing your arms under your chest.
"That so? That what you think darlin'?"
"Why else would you be acting like this? You're acting like a damn child! Now give me my bottle, I'm a grown woman I can drink as much as I wanna!"
He laughs at that. Laughs right at your protests and the way you're pouting in his lap. It makes your face burn up, it makes you wanna hit him, makes you wanna kiss him until he shuts up.
"You're real cute when you get fussy you know that?" Kyle lets the compliment slip out of his mouth before he has time to think about it.
He knows better. He knows he shouldn't be flirting with you, shouldn't get attached. But that ship has long since sailed, he's been infatuated with you since the day you told him he was a good man. But fuck if it isn't getting harder and harder, especially with you sitting so pretty on his lap.
"Kyle Broflovski! If you don't start acting right!" You know the blush on your face doesn't help, the scolding falls on deaf ears.
"I ain't the one crawlin' into a man's lap for a bottle of cheap wine." He sets the bottle down beside him off into the dark where it no longer matters. That hand finds home on your waist, rolling his thumbs over the material of your skirt.
You suck in a breath and sit up on your knees, pushing them to rest on either side of him. "You're not just another man...that what you want me to tell you?"
"Can't say I wouldn't like it." Kyle's voice dips low, gravely and makes a shiver zip down your spine.
"If you don't want me flirting with other men..., why are you waiting so long to kiss me?"
"Oh darlin'," He growls and squeezes the back of your thighs, rough hands sliding up your skirt. "I want nothin' more but...you and I both know I can't."
"No, I don't think I do. Enlighten me." You're not letting him get away this time, there would be no running off to his tent to avoid this. You had him wrapped around your little finger, even if your heart felt like it was about to explode.
" 'Cause if I start kissin' you. I'm gonna keep doin' it..." He gets closer, sitting up to his full height just to graze his lips over yours. "Keep kissin' ya 'til I ain't go breath in my lungs left. Then I'll wanna take you in my arms jus' like this." He gives you a little squeeze pressing his chest further against yours. "I wouldn't be able to stop myself from makin' those sweet lil' noises come out of your mouth. Wouldn't wanna stop either."
Your breath hitches and you let out a soft little moan. You card your fingers through his hair, his hat was put away somewhere in his tent, so it left those gorgeous red curls unguarded. He groans and inadvertently bucks his hips up into you, the rough feeling of his jeans grinding up against your underwear.
"Fuck and if you ain't makin' it difficult. Talkin' like that makes me think you planned to get me all worked up. You ain't stupid, just about the smartest woman I've ever met in my life." He continues grinding his hips into you, rolling you over his growing erection. Kyle groans and doesn't even bother trying to stop the sounds coming out of his mouth.
"K-Kyle just kiss me already!" You whimper in his lap.
And he snaps, whatever wall he built up to resist you comes tumbling down. Just the way you say his name has him tossing all logic out the window. He grabs the back of your neck and pulls your face down towards him, crashing your lips onto his. His teeth almost knock into yours from how desperately he needs this, how much he needs you. It's like being able to stretch your legs after riding for days, or a cool drink of water after being under that blazing sun for too long.
That crackling fire that keeps your little camp sight illuminated doesn't give off nearly the amount of heat Kyle's kiss does. His chapped lips move against yours, somehow despite being on the road for so long they're still so soft. It takes a second for your brain to register that he's finally kissing you, after so long he's finally doing it. Before he can pull back, you press back into the kiss. Hands coming down from his hair to cup his jaw like it'll anchor you from floating away.
He kisses you again and again, each kiss turning more passionate. He goes from a desperate kiss to kissing you like a starved man. His tongue slips out and swipes against your bottom lip, when you don't open your mouth, he growls and pulls you down, so you're now firmly sat in his lap. The action makes you gasp, and he slips his tongue into your mouth, more than excited to explore the inside of your mouth until he finds your tongue. You poke back nervously and chase after the pink muscle. Finally, your tongues twine together, wrapped up in some kind of dance.
He kisses you until your lungs burn, desperate for air. In this silent little battle to see who would break first, it's you. You pull away from him and take in a large gasp. The lack of air and how heated the kiss was makes your head spin. Just as you collect yourself, he's on his feet lifting you up with him. You cling to him and wrap your arms around his neck, even though you know he won't drop you the shock of being moved so quickly like that caught you off guard.
"W-where are we going?"
" 'm takin' you to bed." He walks you over to the tent he's got pitched up, moving to your tent. Kyle bends down and gently lays you down on the bedroll. He sucks in a breath when he sees the way your hair's all laid out and how you've got your thighs pressed together. Lips wet and slightly puffy from the way he kissed you. "Now if you ain't the prettiest thing I've ever seen. Take your blouse off for me."
Kyle looks down at you with darkened eyes, heavy eyes filled with lust. He watches every single little movement you make. They watch as you slip the buttons of your blouse through the little slots holding them together. Watch as you slip the shirt down your arms painfully slow, far too slow for his liking. But ever the gentleman he simply hooks his thumbs in his belt and watches, rewarding you with a low hum.
"That's my girl." His praise all but makes you purr; you like the way he calls you his. "Jus' a lil' more for me. Take that skirt off." His hand slips up your skirt and taps the side of your thigh.
You do it, work the skirt clips off along with the skirt itself until you're left in nothing but your underwear. He tosses them to the side letting them land in your pile of bags. He tugs off his sarape and works his belt, the clinking of his buckle rings out. The only other sound besides your heavy breathing is the bubbling brook next to your camp sight. Occasionally, you can hear the horses stir, but right now all you can focus on is the way Kyle strips down to nothing.
Kyle lays his gun down carefully on top of his clothes before joining you under the furs used to keep you warm. His cock nudges against your thigh, twitching against how soft it feels. You let out a shaky sigh and peer down at it, the angry red tip brushes against your skin.
"I-is that going to fit?" You ask him suddenly a bit worried, but it melts away when he takes your jaw and kisses you again.
"Darlin' we can stop at any moment. But if you'll have me, I'll make you feel real good." His hand snakes down between you two and his fingers go to spread you open.
You let out a little moan and whisper a soft, 'yes' and it's all he needs to continue. His middle finger rolls your bud gently at first until you start to squirm and push against his hand for more. He applies enough pressure to the circular motion that has you seeing stars. He continues rubbing circles on your clit and your hips buck up against his hold. It felt so good.
You moan out in pleasure when he slides two fingers into your hole with ease, your arousal making it so easy for him. He pumps his fingers in you once or twice, pushing into that spot that has your back arching off the bedroll. Kyle keeps his fingers buried in you for a moment, spreading them out and curling them in a come-hither motion. His lips find their way down on your neck, leaving faint love bites. Sucking on the exposed skin with enough force to pull a loud moan out of you.
"Kyle..." A low breathless whimper escapes your lips as he comes off your neck with a pop. "Please, please."
"Sound so pretty when you moan my name like that. Shoulda done this sooner." He works his fingers in you again, thrusting them up into you over and over again. "Fuck you're so fuckin' wet."
You're moaning so loudly you're sure if you weren't alone on the side of the road you would have woken a whole neighborhood. When you try to muffle those moans, he stops moving his fingers leaving you just teetering on the edge. The knot in your stomach starts to tighten, he can feel the way your pussy flutters around his fingers.
"That's it sweetheart, let go for me. Look at me when you cum." He holds your jaw with his free hand making you look up at him.
Your eyes widen and as you finally clench around his fingers giving you that orgasm you desperately begged for. His fingers keep pumping in and out of you until you're whining, and tears are beginning to spill from your eyes.
"Shh, I know, but I gotta make sure you're nice and prepped for me darlin' don't wanna hurt ya too bad." Kyle whispers in your ear until he pulls his fingers out of you finally. You whine at the loss of contact, suddenly feeling so empty. You watch him bring his fingers up to his lips and swirl his tongue around the digit. "Think you're ready for me baby?"
"Kyle, please. I want this, I want you!" You whimper.
"That's a good girl. Roll over on your stomach for me." He leans back up and gestures for you to do as he says.
So, you do, you roll over on your stomach and just as you do, he tucks a pillow under your stomach. His hands glide up and down your legs until they find purchase on your hips. They tighten and squeeze around your waist pulling you back against his cock. Kyle glides you back against his member, grinding your wet pussy up and down his shaft. He lets out a soft moan and lets his head lull to the side.
"Oh," He says quietly as the tip of his cock nudges against your folds, "thaaaaaat's it." Kyle slips every inch of his cock into you slowly, dragging your velvet walls back against him. He pushes and sinks deeper into you until he bottoms out.
"O-Oh god." You bury your face in the bedroll. "Fuck feels so good."
"You have no fuckin' idea..." He grips your hips and begins slowly thrusting in and out of you, "how many times I've thought about fuckin' you senseless. How bad I just wanted to make you fuckin' mine!" His voice comes out in a breathless moan over your desperate cries.
" 'm yours!" You're a mess at this point and he hasn't done much but finger you and start a lazy pace. Each time he drags his cock out he pulls all the way out leaving you empty again. Only to push it right back in at that antagonizing slow pace, like he's trying to get you to remember every little vein on his cock. "Please just go harder, I can take I-I promise!"
"Yeah? Want me to really fuck you baby? I was gonna take my time with ya, show you just how badly I wanted ya." Kyle bucks into you with a sharp thrust making you bounce forward, "but listen to yourself, beggin' for my cock. Beggin' me to go faster. Do it again."
You bite your lip and squeeze your eyes shut; the first time was easy you weren't really thinking about it. Now that he's making demands of you it makes you feel flustered. That embarrassing feeling of having him looking down at your wrecked form washes over you. When his fingers card through your hair and grip the base of your roots, you let out a shocked gasp.
"Darlin' I believe I asked you to do somethin'. I ain't exactly a patient man right now. Not from the way you're squeezin' me soooo tight." He nudges your insides with a lazy little thrust. All it does is make you moan and claw at the bedroll.
"Please Kyle! Please, please, please" You're reduced to nothing but moans and whines. Begging him to do something, anything!
He seems satisfied with that from the way he pulls you back against his chest. Pulling your head out from the bedroll and letting your moans ring out into the night. With a quick slap against your ass, he begins to pick up the pace. The length of his cock claiming you and pounding into you. Your heart rate spikes as he pushes into you deeper than his fingers could reach. He hits that spot in your pussy that his fingers hit earlier, the one that has you seeing stars and drooling. Kyle lets out a moan when your cunt tightens around him again, one that lets you know just how good you make him feel.
"So fuckin' tight. You take me so fuckin' good baby, like you were made for me. Made to take this cock. Fuck gotta feel you cum around my cock this time. That's it, that's it." Kyle grunts and takes his hand out of your hair. Snaking it around your form he grinds his fingers against your clit again.
Your eyes roll up to the back of your head from everything. The way his cock bullies your insides, how his fingers assault the already sensitive bundle of nerves, and the way he spouts filth in your ear. The praise makes you feel so good, puts you in a head space you've never been in before. The only thing you can think about is what he tells you to. Right now, he wants you to cum around his cock, so you do. You don't even register it until it happens. Until his hips begin to lose that rhythm and he stops pulling out as much.
But when your walls clamp down around him like they had done his fingers, milking him for everything he's worth, he lets out a low moan. He calls your name, not a pet name or the fake name that you've been accustomed to. Your name.
"That's it baby. Fuck I love you, fuck I love you." There isn't so much as a second thought as he just repeats how much he loves you. After one final hard thrust he's spilling into you, filling you with his hot cum. He empties until it's dripping down your thighs, creating a white ring around the base of his cock.
Both of your bodies were wet with sweat from being pressed together. What little strength he has keeps him from collapsing on top of you. His chest pressed against your back, your hearts beating in unison. Eventually Kyle sits back up and slips his cock out of you, carefully lowering you down onto your bedroll again.
You look up at him with an exhausted smile, absent mindedly pushing stray curls out of his face. He looks down at you and smiles in return, he takes your hand and kisses the inside of your palm. That afterglow of sex that clings to you and the way you look disheveled has to be his new favorite sight. You guide him down towards your chest and let him rest his head against your heartbeat. He closes his eyes and holds you close.
"I love you too." You say after a while, not sure if he's asleep or not from the way he hasn't stirred.
"Be mighty awkward if ya didn't." Kyle murmurs in between your chest, placing a gentle kiss onto your collarbone.
"Took you long enough to confess." You joke.
"Yeah...don't know what I was thinkin'. Guess I just didn't wanna put them feelin's out there if you weren't inclined to stick around. You got dreams of settlin' down somewhere quiet..."
"Nothing says you can't be there with me when I do."
"I don't know if I could ever go back to a quiet life like that...I don't think I deserve somethin' like that."
"Oh hush." You cup his face and bring it up to yours. "Don't ever wanna hear you talk like that again Broflovski. You're a good man, I told you that before. I don't love bad men."
"You ain't ever been wrong before."
"Wasn't wrong when I went out to find you all of them months ago. I ain't about to start."
"Ain't?"
"Huh?"
"You said ain't. Never heard you talk like that before, usually you talk all proper like. I think you're pickin' up my accent."
"Go back to laying your head down!" You huff and shove his face back down into your chest which only makes him chuckle.
"If I get to wake up to somethin' like this every day.... I reckon I can see myself settlin' down. Maybe we can get a little farm, start our own little ranch."
"I like that...we can send a letter to your brother, and he can join us."
Kyle smiles warmly at that. You remembered his brother, that conversation on the road that started all this. He closes his eyes and begins to picture it all. You and him tucked away in some area in Colorado with his brother who he hasn't seen in years. Maybe down the road you could change your last name to his. His hand finds yours and he rubs his thumb over your ring finger. Imagining a little metal ring, one that matches his.
The road’s starting to look a lot less lonely.

We won't run forever
Beth Dutton x Male Reader
Request - Could you do beth Dutton x male reader
Tumblr media
You are sleeping in your bed but your cell phone started to ring. You don't wake up and it stops ringing for now but a minute later, it rings again. This time you picked it up
“Hello?” You yawned.
“Y/n, it's me, Beth. I’m in jail and I need you to bail me out” Beth said.
“What? What time is it?” You yawned again.
“Y/n! Listen carefully. I need you to bail me out now!” Beth yelled.
“Don’t yell or I'm not going” You said.
“Fucker” Beth said.
She hung up and you sighed heavily. You get out of bed and you look at the time and it's almost five in the morning. You start to get dressed then you drive to the police station.
After a while, of waiting for them to release her and you paying a fine. She finally walks out of the police station and then gets in your car.
“Why they did arrest you?” You asked.
“I’m sure they told you before you paid,” Beth said.
“Come on, Beth,” You said.
“I don't want to go home,” Beth said.
“So you are not going to tell me?” You asked.
“We should get coffee,” Beth said.
“Fine,” You said.
You are Beth’s boyfriend and sometimes it can be complicated. But you and Beth don't live together but she has some of her clothes at your place. You used to live in the city then moved near the ranch then you met Beth at a bar.
You drove to a small restaurant and you ordered coffee and food. You keep staring at Beth and for a few seconds, you two don't say anything. She drinks her coffee and then takes a piece of your sausage.
“I got into a fight,” Beth said.
“I know, I can see the cut on your bottom lip. But why?” You said.
“She should have known not to mess with me,” Beth said.
“She had it coming then,” You said.
“Yes, she did” Beth smiled and then drank her coffee.
Later, you take her to your place. You lie down on the bed then she lies next to you, then she puts her head on your chest. You put your arm around her and she sighed.
✫ ✬ ✫ ✬
You and Beth went to a bar to have a good time. She ordered the drinks and you have your arm around her waist. You and Beth are smiling at each other and she kissed you on the lips.
“I told you this would be a good idea,” Beth said.
“Good thing I listened to you” You smiled.
You kissed her on the lips. She grabbed your hand and headed to the dance floor. She placed your hands on her waist and she put her arms around your shoulder.
“You know that I don't dance,” You said.
“You do now,” Beth said.
She kissed you on the lips and you started to kiss her back. Later, Beth went to get another beer and she started to drink it then she turned around and noticed someone flirting with you. She had her hand on your arm and you moved her arm away, but she did it again. And Beth felt jealous and she hates when someone flirts with you.
Beth rushed over towards her and then punched her in the face. Now, everyone in the bar started to fight and Beth punched the woman again. A guy was going to hit your girlfriend, but you punched him in the face then grabbed a beer bottle and smashed it on his face. The bar owner called the cops, but everyone continued to fight. Beth kicked a guy in the nuts then he fell and you grabbed a guy by his shirt and threw him toward the tables. Beth starts to fight another woman and Beth grabs the woman’s hair and throws her on the floor. A guy punched you in the mouth but you grabbed his shirt and headbutted him in the face. He fell and you spit blood on him and the cops arrived.
“Arrest everyone!” The cop yelled.
The cops started to grab everyone, and you and Beth got arrested. The cops made everyone stand in front of the bar. They handcuffed you before they got Beth, she punched the woman again who flirting with you.
————
You are riding your horse alone. You have a black eye from the fight at the bar and Beth has a cut on her cheek. You head back to the ranch and before you head to the horse stable. You people yelling and you rushed towards the barn. Roarke Morris is on top of Beth and he is yelling at her. Then she scratched his face and he started to scream, you jumped off the horse then attacked him.
“Y/n!” Beth yelled.
You start to punch Roarke the face. Then he hit you on the side of your face and you fell. But you and Roarke stand up fast then you attack him. You grabbed his gun and he didn't notice you took it, you fell to the ground then he grabbed the pitchfork.
“They deserve to lose everything!” Roarke screamed.
Roarke always hated Beth and her family. His main was mission to make Beth and her family lose the ranch.
Before he stabbed you with the pitchfork, you pulled the trigger. You shoot him three times in the chest and Beth runs towards you.
“Y/n, are you okay?” Beth asked.
She touches your face and you are breathing hard.
“Are you okay? Why did he attack you?” You asked.
She kissed you on the lips, then she helped you stand up.
“He thought I stole his horses. Fucking, idiot. He came over to make me confess then I smacked him and we started to fight until you came” Beth said
“I believe you, Beth. What about his body?” You asked.
She takes the gun away from you.
“He was never here,” Beth said.
You nod then she kisses you again on the lips.
You helped Beth take Roarke’s body to the middle woods. You started to dig a deep grave then Beth pushed his body into the grave. Now, you start to fill up the grave and she started to help.
“He never came to the ranch,” Beth said.
“He didn't,” You said.
You and Beth continued to fill the grave. Then she hid the gun far from Roarke’s body. She dug a deep grave and put the gun inside, she started to fill it up with dirt. You and Beth walked away and she lit a cigarette. You helped her get on the horse then you got on the horse. She wraps her left arm around your waist and you head back to the ranch.

Bitchy Blonde: Seems pretty dangerous letting something that wild run around in here alone. Tired Blonde: Oh leave him alone Viv.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Diego: Howdy Dani. Dani: Diego! Haven't seen you round here in a while. I thought all that ranch work had might have killed you. Diego: [ 𝙡𝙖𝙪𝙜𝙝 ] Good to see you too. 'Fraid it'll take a lot more than a few horses to break me. - The Horseshoe's lookin' great by the way.
Tumblr media
Dani: Thanks, you'd be impressed what a couple coats of good deck sealant can do. Diego: Well you just let me know if you want me to come down and lend a hand with anything. Dani: Classic Golden Boy. Don't you have enough on your plate keeping the old Carey Ranch running? Diego: I always got time for good people.
Tumblr media
Dani: Well then you know the rules- one good turn deserves a beer. On the house.
Tumblr media
Diego: Gonna need two- got a date tonight.
Tumblr media
Dani: Well good for you cowboy. I'll make sure to dig you out something classy.
Tumblr media
A pair boots hit the ground as Chestnut Ridge's reining buckle bunny slid into the open seat beside the ranch hand.
Tumblr media
Viv: Why hey there Cowboy, lookin' for a ride? Diego: I ain't got time for this tonight Viv.
Tumblr media
Viv: Oh c'mon García, I've just missed seein' you around is all. Diego: And I'm sure that husband of yours is missin' you just as much right now too. He still stationed out by the crater? Viv: Strangerville- I'll be leavin' town to join up with him in a week or so.
Tumblr media
Diego: Well that sounds like a mighty fun adventure for you both. Maybe you'll finally find that wedding ring of yours before headin' out. Viv: Oh you're no fun. Diego: I'm afraid I just got my priorities straight. The first of which is not rollin' around with married women.
Tumblr media
Viv: What's so wrong with wantin' to break ya? Watcher forbid we women do anything. Girl's gotta find a way to occupy the hours somehow.
Diego: Maybe try pickin' up fishin'.
Tumblr media
Viv: Sweet Diego. I'm sure your bottle blonde rich girl in her little clearance rack dress won't even last two minutes bareback.
Tumblr media
Diego: I'm gonna ask ya to think 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘭 𝘤𝘢𝘳𝘦𝘧𝘶𝘭𝘭𝘺 about what you're planning on sayin' next Mrs. Walker.
Tumblr media
Dani: 𝙇𝙖𝙮 𝙤𝙛𝙛 𝙑𝙞𝙫𝙞𝙖𝙣. I don't want any trouble from you tonight.
Two ice cold beer bottles hit the counter- saving the woman from whatever Poppy/Diego tag team beat-down was surely on the way if she had kept running her mouth.
Tumblr media
Viv: We were just havin a bit of fun, don't be jealous. But if you want to jump the line I wouldn't mind takin' you round the block either. Dani: Girl you better get your ass off my bar and start minding your own business or I'll- Viv: I'm goin, don't get your briefs in a twist.
Tumblr media

Amm hii my first ever public brain thought i have these often but yee i didn't see much of lyney so i took it out to try and write something about him ^^...
What would people say now, when the the representative of Inazuma is being so drunk
How did you get here you you don't know ether you really wanted to see him and plus he said you can come to see him anytime you want so no harm is done here right, at least that is what you tell yourself.
As you opened tent he was in you slowly walked to his sleeping form it would be be shame to wake him.. And you jumped on him.As he jolts awake he panics a bit but sees its you and instinctively hugs you back "well hello mon chérie";"hii, and i told you to not call me that if you don't tell what it means" he only giggles at that of course you could ask someone in city or court what it meant but you afraid someone is going to make fun of you after all you were one of most respected person in city of Fontane and that that is why you shouldn't be here even worse drunk as you are now, honestly you just wanted a little escape from your thoughts thinking of him all day so it was better idea to get drunk and actually see him great life choices, "soo ~ why did you come here to see me not that i mind". "honestly idk i just want to see you"
L:ou is that so, soo what do you want to do
Y:honestly i don't know i just want to spend time with you so anything is fine
L: wanna go around the festival ground i think i can turn merry go round for a little bit
Your eyes sparked as you tug him out tent
Y:What are we wait for lets goo
He only watched you amused honestly you are such different person out of court house so lively and energetic noting like that reserved figure. He got his hat and cape which looked really funny on his pj but he still looked good god he always does dose he. After walking a bit you got there at first it was nothing special but once he got it light up it was beautiful you quickly rushed to it sitting on one of horses, lyney slowly got to your side holding one of support bars for his safety. You laugh and giggled whole time
L:you know i prefer you like this happy with honest laughter
You turned your head to look at him but because of amount of alcohol you had your head spined and start falling forword he rushed to catch you
L:hey carful we don't want you to get hurt
You crashed your head on his chest as he try to keep you on the house
L"See i told you to be careful you could gotten hu.. "
" you smell nice" your drunk ass said would you hate yourself for it if sober YES, are you now proud of it also yes. He stares for a second as you wrap your arms around his neck and nuzzle further it his neck
L "hey hey slow down there that pa it sensitive"
"is it now" you kissed it congratulations you might fucked up your friend.. And he moaned never mind you don't care
"OUU that much sensitive ~" as you smirked and looked at him you could swear his eyes were beginning for more
L"i don't know how much you drink but you are not acting like your self maybe i should take you home "
And ou boy did you not like the idea you wanted to stay with him so as any saint person you hugd him with your legs too
" no, home is lonely, here with you better "
He soften his eyes at your wish but still wanted to do right thig after all you had a couple of drinks so your not thinking straight and he didn't want to use that
L "i can stay with you in your room until you fell asleep"
As soon as that left his mouth your was back in his neck this time tho you took small bite enough tho for lyney to grabs your hair and yeests it backwards. Now he did want to scold you but look in your eyes that begged him to continue just a bit more made him question his decisions.. But too late for that now because he was slowly closeing distance between you
As his lips touched yours there was feeling of addiction right behind he want to be slow with you to give you chance to back away, ou but you had other plans as you made him physically not able to get closer to you as he is now and it surely didn't help how you grinded on him. He groaned softly this is not okay he needs to stop you before he can't himself
L"Cheri you really need to stop and get your head clear "
But you didn't like that idea and wanted to continue but this time he read you and firmly grabbed your chin and spoke in most serious voice he ever used
L" salope now i believe i told stop now be good little bitch and stay still "
And boy you did was that all that can make you stay put just one degrading word and you are done you wanted to smack your self but before you got chance you felt fingertips on your cheek and mouth
L" I would love to continue this will you one you are more sober butt until then this must satisfi your hunger "
He watched as you look at him ou and boy did he want to ruin you image just how much his pride would be.
He slowly picked you up and you did feel kinda dizzy he was saying something but you were falling and didn't hear what.
As you opened your eyes you instantly got pictures in your head that by the way hurted like bitch.
You want to cry because of stress why did it had to be dream, as you tried to lay on your back you here mumbling behind you. Fastly turning around to see who and to your luck he was there now slowly opening his eyes
L"morning cheri did you sleep well "
"i think i told you not to call me that "
L"ou but you didn't mind yesterday did you now " he said with grinnin. He is not going to let that one go until you retire that is for sure, as he slightly moved to get closer to you he whispered
L" if you don't mind helping me fix that problem you made yesterday "
