The way PJO’s Hera would become the worst to best character almost instantly if that girl got a divorce. I can only imagine the immaculate vibes she would bring the second she ditched the vengenful wife vibes and became the petty ex-wife.

She doesn't even have a moral change of heart toward the demigods or anything. She still doesn't give a damn about them, but she also is so unbothered that it becomes a running gag for a half-blood to run into her on a quest and she is just super chill about it.

Percy: what are you doing in a spa?

Hera: …..getting a facial. Why are you here? Not to bother me I hope?

Percy: nah. It’s the usual. If I don't kill the monster running around here then a war starts and the world ends.

Sanji's Milotic is his Little Princess, even before she evolved. Daddy's little girl. Queen of doing no wrong. It's a good thing she's actually quite well-mannered and sweet, because he'd honestly let her get away with murder.

If her and Gyarados do ever have an egg, Zoro will have a fight to keep Sanji from turning Gyarados into sushi. For now, both are entirely unaware their Pokemon are mated.

Actually imagine one day she finally DOES, Sanji coming across her curled around an egg and losing his ever-loving-shit - immediately calls a crew meeting to find out who DEFLOWERED HIS PRECIOUS BABY GIRL, demanding to see every water type in her egg group (which lbr they wouldn't keep up with that so that would then devolve into a debate over egg grouping and pokemon breeding all while sanji is fuming). of course, except for zoro, everyone else knows who the father but is staying quiet either 1) for the lulz 2) to keep damages down or 3) isnt paying attention (aka luffy). this goes on for a while when suddenly

CRRK CRRK the egg begins to hatch! theres silence on the deck as the new baby burst free, sparkle sparkle sparkle sparkle

once things calm down it turns into a debate on who takes ownership of the magikarp, zoro n sanji feuding like bitter exes divorced thrice over determining custody time for lil timmy

(they end up leaving it in Momo's care as symbol of friendship - he takes very good care of them)

Luffy never just catches Pokemon. He's the Ash, his team is entirely composed of Pokemon that are like ‘his vibes are immaculate’ and join him. There are numerous Pokemon he considers ‘his’ or part of his crew strewn out across the seas, but he never caught them and they stayed behind for one reason or another.

For a good portion of his travels, he didn’t even actually catch them with Pokeballs. He only did so after Marineford, because having them in Pokeballs would've made things easier and safer for them. Still doesn't keep them put away often.

Sanji and Nami are scared of Bug Types, which made getting along with Zoro's Scythor and Usopp's Spinarak difficult at first. They got used to Sythor easier thanks to his less buggy nature, but Spinarak took time. This was not helped by Spinarak constantly trying to get chummy with them only to accidentally scare them.

One incident involved him pulling a Charlotte's Web in the gally, writing a compliment to Sanji in his web (Usopp taught him how to read and write because why not - bored island kids do whatever). Unfortunately, Sanji's horrified screams could probably be heard in Skypiea. Usopp spent hours cleaning all the webbing up and Sanji smoked about three packs that day.

They do eat Pokemon but it's less common compared to regular animals. There are debates that Pokemon just tend to not taste very good regardless of cooking skills, which lends itself to the idea that their powers are somehow connected to the ever nasty Devil Fruit.

Y'know that gag from Pokemon where Brock's own Pokemon would knock him around when he goes girl-crazy? Ya, that but Sanji. His team absolutely takes him down a peg when he gets too fuck-boy.

It's usually his Blaziken, who will just straight up knock him out and carry him away if need be

The only one who doesn't is Milotic and that's because Sanji is her baby just as much as she is his and she wuvs him too much. Spoils him, really

Usopp gets Robin one of those baby slings for her Houndour as a joke but they love it (she puts on matching sunglasses too so he can travel in style)

it's to the point that Chopper gets a little jealous so they have to get him one too

Usopp's Octillary is still a lil shit no matter how much he respects Usopp, so it's not uncommon for her to cover whoever happens to be nearby in either ink or water

her favorite victim is Sanji - she never did forgive him calling her scrawny (even tho it meant they wouldn't eat her)

All of Franky's Pokemon have a star painted or carved somewhere on their body. They like posing with him!

Franky does want a Blastoisite but they haven't had much luck finding one

Brook's Chatot picks up many, many phrases…. unfortunately he, much like Brook, favors the one asking to see panties - the only upside is that he asks everyone regardless of gender

Chatot is not allowed to talk to strangers for totally unrelated reasons

Hello! I have put together the Riddle School- Good Ending AU a bit more and decided to share some things since you were interested! I wanted to have a bit of a different take on the aliens and for fun decided to make them the 'good guys'. I kept the military idea the fandom adopted since I loved it and went a step further to make them the best of their respective branches therefore prime targets in the war. Diz was a fighter pilot, Viz was a captain and Quiz a lead cartographer. They were chased out of their solar system by the enemy their planet was at war with (Viz lost an eye, Diz his lower arms) and now have to help build this 'Cryobeam' that could land a good enough hit on the enemy to bring an advantage to their losing side. All whilst they are also constantly pressed by time and their superiors.

The three took refugee on Earth where Phil happened to spot them stealing from a local store. They took him and later on his friends when they tried to find him, since the Vizion crew knew it would be dangerous if their enemy was around and found out these kids knew of them. Diz is not a traitor in this story, Quiz does not run off to play principal and Viz does not die. Some game events play out differently.

Kids living on a spaceship, shenanigans ensue later on. From games of hide and seek with Phil getting stuck in a vent, truth or dare near a lava pit, Viz saves Smiley from a bunch of boys bulling her and trying to steal her wig, Zack challenging Viz and Diz to a match of football, Smiley and the boys cooking dinner with Diz, Zack and Phred having Quiz play a horror game, Smiley and Quiz playing wingmen for Diz and Viz (it started as a crackship, I don't know how it got here), etc. Also another change to the canon. I didn't make Smiley magically grow hair instead that is a wig and she has alopecia areata.

Basically, three military dudes who have forgotten what it was like to live life adopt four rambunctious children that shake up their entire operation. If you want to know anything more about it please let me know! I'd love to share!

I must know who wins the football game. Don’t know why that line in particular is standing out to me so much (I don’t even like football) but I must know. Truth or dare near the lava pit also intrigues me; what dares involve the lava pit? (Don’t know about you, but I had at least one friend who would probably dare you to throw your shoes or some shit in there XD)

The whole concept of the AU is brilliant! It’s kinda giving gravity falls with the whole ‘inexplicable and possibly violent happenings occurring while school children hang out with cryptids’ (I fell back into that bottomless pit recently so maybe that’s just me conflating things, but it’s a good vibe! Anything that makes me think of gravity falls is a win.) 

I love love love your ideas for a softer portrayal with the aliens; it’s kinda hilarious to me that they might have just yoinked the children with barely half a plan and now they’re stuck babysitting for the good of the mission. The villain decay from Ambiguous Threat to Bonus Uncles is immaculate. Headquarters is phoning in to find out how weapon testing is going only to find all three of their best soldiers losing at smash bros, rip 

(Oh god, don't get me started on Viz and Diz as a crack ship. Every. single. time I write them they get more divorced and I... do not know how they're doing it. I am staring at them in incomprehension. 'You’re not a couple? You’ve literally never been a couple?? I wrote your species to have no concept of marriage, how the fuck did you get divorced???' They have yet to answer me; they’re too busy missing each other while stood in the same room.)

Questions! What do the aliens do about the kids parents in this? (Super curious about this one cause it was something I never considered until I started writing the Kidnapping Phil scene and fell into the plot hole face first.) Are the enemy forces on Earth as well? Do the kids get tangled up in the Everything, or do they successfully avoid that fate in exchange for low-risk shenanigans? I remember you had a few OCs you talked about last time; are they still part of it? Do you think you’ll write it out as prose or did you have something else in mind? What are the aliens like in your story and (because I found this one fun to answer!) who’s your favourite?

Also surprising I haven’t used more broadway lyrics, but here we are. My absolute favorite musical which, in part, is about hunger driving you to do desperate things. This piece was so largely focused on food insecurity for me. Every chapter revolves around food to some degree, and even the metaphors and similes Angel uses to describe the world around them are tied to food. It’s something that those of us who grew up with food insecurity can relate to; when you’re hungry, everything reminds you of food. When you live hungry, it consumes your every thought. When Noblezada as Eurydice delivers the line “it’s my gut I can’t ignore / Orpheus, I’m hungry,” you can hear it in her voice. It’s worth a listen for that line alone.

This song explores the deep hunger within the singer, countered by the lightness she feels within herself. Angel, in this piece, is haunted by their hunger and treats David poorly because of it. The light that he shows them helps them to reach for the light within themself. We love healing in this house!!!

Oh boy I could go on for ages about Hozier. His songs are on almost all of my Redacted playlists and so I listen to his work pretty much every time I write for Redacted. His lyricism and prose are evident in my work, I think. This piece, one of Angel’s first indications of how protective David is, fits so well with this song. Swinging wildly between protectiveness and possessiveness, David mirrors the song’s progression throughout the piece. I think “Belongs to me” is the operative part of this title.

Alright so… for real… this piece should have been named “is it wickedness? is it weakness?” after the first (or last, depending on how you play it) track on Kendrick Lamar’s “Damn.” That entire album is a work of art, and it can be played cohesively forward or backward, each play telling a different story. Forward is Kendrick’s life as it is, and backward is how it might have gone had his father died when he was young.

In this story, the inciting incident for Sweetness to be so different from the Sweetheart that we know is their mother dying when they were young. I’m positing here that Sweetheart in the main universe still has their mom and that’s why they’re kinder.

Anyway. I stand by “Venom” being a banger. It’s themes don’t run as cohesively with this story as Damn.‘s do, but I can live with it. For now.

Hozier’s work has always connected with me deeply, all the way back to when I was a repressed queer kid listening to “Take Me To Church.” Now, as he’s putting out this big push of music, I’m finding myself connecting with the core of his music again. This song, a song about surrendering to the impossibility and incomprehensible nature of love, is perfect for William and Alexis. Will’s love for Alexis isn’t healthy, and it doesn’t lead him to sound choices, but he feels he has no choice. So he surrenders to it.

Pairing 1: Emasculateshipping(Professor Cronos de Medici | Dr. Vellian Crowler/Napoleon | Jean-Louis Bonaparte)

Propaganda: As the Funny European Team Rocket Men of GX, the two are almost too obvious-- not just in how much time they spend together or how much of that time seems a bit too intimate for men who are supposedly just work buddies. The ship, with its participants being based on historical figures (obviously, Napoleon Bonaparte and the Medici family respectively), the ship therefore has a real-world historical precedent of sorts (Napoleon was Italian; two Medici women married into French royalty); the two have similar and compatible priorities (Cronos being first and foremost concerned with his babies-- ahem, *students*, while Napoleon is mostly worried about his own son; the step-father potential in Cronos is Immaculate) and, of course, the ship is very funny-- not in the least because you have two men, one single in his mid-thirties while the other is divorced in his fifties, thereby trying to navigate their relationship like a pair of stupid teenagers. But of course, there is also serious potential in the ship as well. After all, Napoleon's divorce means that he's going to be extremely anxious about screwing up a good thing again, while for Cronos it's a potential red flag that their relationship will end in disaster. The plot of season 3 also gives them both immense pain to work through, after all that they've been helpless as their respective kids suffered. It's easy to overlook them both, especially Napoleon (I promise that's not a joke at the expense of his height, he's just kinda mainly remembered for how he's introduced in season 2 as French Cis Cronos and has little unique character of his own until Martin's introduction), but there's absolutely something to engage with both in the characters themselves and in the interactions between them. Propaganda: It's my absolute favourite !!! Two emotionally messes up goths together !!! Not only is it funny for Judai to be the 3rd wheel between his rival and his soulmate, but I also think Jun and Yubel can vibe together in their own weird way. A lot of the comics I read are less self-indulgent/wish-fulfillment/slice of life/romance and more "make me ponder about the thing I am reading on an obsessive level" and "I want this story to rewrite my life and make me question everything". However if I'm needing a mental break I will enjoy a good comfort comic!

Space Boy by Stephen McCranie (currently on hiatus)

Do you love space? Do you enjoy colorful comics with intriguing casts of characters with a dash of existentialism and the complexities of life and what it means to be human? Then you'll definitely want to read this one. Also, it baffles me that Stephen has essentially improvised the majority of this story--it's incredibly cohesive and very well-written.

Nevermore by Kate Flynn and Kit Trace (updates regularly on Fridays)

This is the definition of disaster lesbians--toxic yuri, even, but that's why I love it! Very fun concept of limbo as a gothic academic setting where everyone is out to get everyone for a second chance at life. The main love interests have a recently-divorced vibe that is so messy and I eat it up every time they interact with each other. The supporting cast is also very fleshed-out and dynamic and play very well off of each other to make for interesting scenarios.

Suitor Armor by Purpah (updates on Fridays)

A comic that questions what it means to be human/have a soul and the complexities of life and the moral ambiguity! I feel like there's a pattern here... anyway, I really enjoy the world-building in this one and while I'm not usually a fan of plot-twists for shock value, Purpah does them VERY WELL and I was indeed very shocked and surprised several times.

Castle Swimmer by Wendy Lian Martin (currently on hiatus)

I do love my gay fish boys. Castle Swimmer is one of those comics I could picture as an animated series and if that happens I want to be on that animation team so bad (Wendy I'm on my hands and knees). The world building is immaculate and feels so vast that every time a new setting is discovered it feels like the world map is being filled out as you go. Main characters defy predestined-fates after falling in love with each other and I'm a sucker for that trope. Gender-fuckery and many representations of sexuality is also a normal occurrence so that's very refreshing. AND Wendy incorporates a lot of facts/biology/conservation awareness for marine life into the story and after episodes and I love that very much.

On Hiveworks:

Novae by KaiJu (Jen and Kate) (updates on Mondays and Thursdays)

Historical fiction with romance, more gender-fuckery, magic systems and astronomy (more space!! I love space!!). I eat up all the cultural references and have learned more from this comic than most of my history classes. Beautiful, beautiful art style and overall very well-written. Cant' wait to get my heart broken over the next few chapters (something just happened but you'll have to read it for yourself).

Tiger, Tiger by Petra Norlund (currently on hiatus)

My friend recommended this to me with the general pitch of "noblewoman cross-dresses as her twin brother to escape the responsibilities of high society and study sea sponges aboard the stolen ship of said-brother" and let me tell you I wish I read it sooner. I need to re-read it at some point but from what I can recall there's also a lot of queer pining and will-they-won't-they but also we can't worry about that right now because world-ending things are happening and one of the world-ending things is very hot and cool.

Barbarous by Ananth Hirsh and Yuko Ota (currently on hiatus)

I recently discovered this comic but I devoured it within hours; not only is the magic portrayed in such an interesting way (literally weaving magic/needing physical conduits to cast spells) despite being in a modern setting. Percy/Chiaki hits home being down on her luck and how her desperation to be perfect and powerful has made her do questionable things and I love that for her. All the characters are messy in their own way and it really breathes life into what could be considered a slice-of-life.

Namesake by Megan Lavey-Heaton and Isabelle Melançon (I'm actually unsure if there's a consistent update schedule?)

Man how do I even begin to explain Namesake?? I can't, that's why you should read it for yourself. Get ready to take notes because it is so dense with magical systems, character and setting history that I felt like I was studying but it's fun studying. This is also one I've followed for yeeearrrs and it's just gotten better with time.

Countdown to Countdown by Velinxi/Xiao Tong Kong (updates on Wednesdays)

This is actually a re-release of Xiao's previous comic by the same name; it had a similar format to Ava's Demon with painterly single panels (you can still read the original here), and now it's a paginated-format with a very fleshed-out story and world (and the art style slightly simplified but still gorgeous). I love the changes Xiao was able to make because it really helps the story and characters shine compared to the earlier version. I'm pretty sure that she had likened it to Tangled such as: generational trauma, escaping a tower, MC discovering the world while love interest grows to love their passion and joy despite struggling in said-world and they are both boys and they are kissing (I added that last bit it has been the slowest slow burn of my life).

Daughter of the Lilies by Meg Syv (currently on hiatus)

High fantasy/Dungeons and Dragons setting with incomprehensible beings and a girl without a face that just wants to be accepted by the family she has found within her adventuring party. I adore the character interactions and I don't want to say too much about the world because of very cool spoilers, but I really love this one.

STANDALONE COMICS:

Ava's Demon by Michelle Fus (updates fairly regularly now? but can have some hiatuses)

One of those OG webcomics I've been read since forever ago, but I still love it and am excited to see where the story goes. Sci-fi fantasy setting where most of the inhabited planets have been overruled by this one asshole who might be a god? Either way it follows Ava and a rag-tag group of friends/enemies/frenemies as they try to battle Titan's rule with demon pacts and untapped, unknown powers. I haven't re-read it in a very long time but I do remember enjoying the story and characters and the art style is absolutely gorgeous.

Lackadaisy by Tracy J. Butler

Oh my god please read this comic if you haven't already (or watch some of it as it's now an animated pilot on YouTube and has been recently funded for a full season!) I'm a complete sucker for 1920s/1930s prohibition stories and the underground businesses of rumrunners, not to mention the added bonus that they're all cats! The art style is gorgeous both in the earlier chapters and the later chapters, and the writing is so incredibly well-constructed and intricate that my baby brain could hardly keep up when I first started readying back in uhhhh 2010/2012?). It has a wackiness and charisma that Tracy has only honed since first starting and I can't recommend it enough.

The Meek and Mare Internum by Der-shing Helmer (The Meek is on indefinite hiatus, and Mare Internum is completed)

I honestly don't know if The Meek will ever be finished? Which is a bummer because I was hooked from the start. Granted I haven't revisited it in a long time so I can't recall a lot of details, but I remember it being wonderfully rich in world building and all of the characters were complex and shared interesting dynamics with each other. Fantasy setting with dangerous god-like beings playing sandbox with the politics and fates of the human world. There is also most definitely a green-haired girl in the story and she's really cool. Again, my memory is a tad fuzzy on this one so current opinion could be different from previous opinion.

Mare Internum is fully completed and is a sci-fi story that explored the dangers of an alien-inhabited Mars with a reluctant main lead. Proceed with caution as the very first page depicts an attempted hanging by the main character (there are warnings but it is the first page so it can take you a bit off-guard). I actually just realized as I was writing this that I never finished the story and that's very silly and goofy of me, but that just means we can experience it together haha.

Off-White by Jessi Derenthal, Anna Podedworna and Katarzyna Redesiuk (unfortunately discontinued, but who know what will happen in the future?)

I have to recommend the comic that indulged my wolf-girl era, it's only fair. But it's also because it's a beautifully painted comic and the team is so talented. I haven't caught up with them recently but I hope they're all doing well wherever they are. The setting is heavily inspired by Norse mythos, and the main characters flip between humans and wolves struggling to survive the spiritual collapse of the world as humans wipe out each respective spirit for total power. I remember being absolutely entranced by this comic and would get so excited every time it updated so my friend and I could read it. It's currently available on the Internet Archives and Wayback Machine, as the site was too expensive for the creators to sustain.

WOW I guess I was holding onto that for a while. Thank you so much for the ask! I can't promise I'll have the same energy for future asks but I really hyper-focused on this one since comics are one of my Special Interests. From personal experiences;

Uranus in the 7th house- yes, have met many people divorced with this aspect, or just out of nowhere break ups, despite being with X person for a long time. Most of them haven't seen this coming.

Mars to Pluto - yes, plus look at their house to see from whom you should expect aggression. Say you have an opposition with one or the other in the 4th and 10th house, expect relatives or even caregivers being aggressive with you. At work, expect it not only from colleagues or supervisors but also from clients, I wouldn't be surprised if you have to become some sort of bouncer at the workplace.

Saturn in the 7th house - somehow it's their own karma and consequences of their behaviour. Some are too superficial or vain, and when they meet the right person, are immature or too childish and then lose it and understand it only later when it's too late. Others are too serious and anxious, and they end up appearing distant or disinterested. Most of the time, it's their own fault.

8th house stellium - never seen one being happy. Failing to master their own experiences, or tame their fears and traumas. Usually succumb to them and attract even more crappy events, like a self prophetic nightmare . Usually has to face issues with loyalty, trauma, money, loneliness, accidents, health issues etc. Signs and planets will give detailed hints on the issues.

12th house stelliums - yes and no. They're more like a mirror, that you just can't control. They can be selfless yet selfish, giving yet greedy, it really depends on who's their target. Probably the most confusing house to have planets in. Sometimes they're their own target. Wild dreams for sure. (don't romanticise them, they're suffering in their own world)

I'll also personally add, if the author of the post doesn't mind it (I could also remove it if it's not okay):

Saturn - Personal placements harsh aspects: like square, opposition and conjunction. Not a wild ride, just a depressing one. Insecurities, hard obstacles to overcome, overall low energy and will, "why me" moments, depressive in general (lol), it can even calm down wild horses as fire signs, even an Aries placement will have a "tired and frustrated" outlook.

Moon - Pluto/Mars harsh aspects: like square, opposition and conjunction. Those planets don't really vibe, it gives the moon an aggressive core, sometimes intrusive thoughts, memories or disturbing moods. More prone to be addicted to sex or totally repulsed (usually steams from trauma or lack of love from caregivers). Rollercoaster of intense and explosive emotions. Paranoid.

Scorpio venus (sometimes moon too) - (mostly males) being cheated on, one sided love, sexual trauma, divorce, domineering partners/spouse, child support or alimony, or partner/crush using you for money.

Neptune in the 7th house - what everyone thinks or expects from Venus conjunct Neptune/Venus in 12th/Pisces venus. Extremely idealistic and naïve of their relationship, self sacrificing, easily deceived, probably loves more the immaculate image they created in their head than your real self. Will deny the reality at any cost, just not to lose all their efforts and your "toxic perfect" relationship. Codependent, truly romantic at core, you're their priority. WARNING TRIGGER! Bonus points if they have water placements, literally the type of person jokingly saying they'll kill whoever touches you, or that they will kill themselves if you leave them etc.

This is controversial so if you don’t believe astrology can tell these type of things just scroll. I personally have witnessed through many patterns in the Etsy readings I used to do that it can tell us pretty much everything

Of course your whole chart matters though so one placement/aspect/degree cannot dictate your entire life. Take this with a grain of salt

Uranus in the 7th house: This placement is extremely common among people who have a hard love life or get divorced at some point. Uranus = chaos/independence and the 7h = relationships/marriage

Mars to Pluto aspects: This is mostly about squares/oppositions but i’ve noticed these people tend to attract a lot of conflict into their life and are constantly getting into fights with people which I don’t need in my life so I feel blessed not to have this one

Saturn in the 7th house: Every relationship is a karmic lesson for these people. I don’t think it’s a “bad” placement but it is definitely a challenging one. I wouldn’t be able to handle it

8th house stellium: I have two 8th house placements as well as my chart ruler in the 8th house so I do have a lot of this energy already but I feel as though people with an 8th house stellium really do have such constant hard transformation in their life and usually lots of trauma

12th house stellium: I know this is a cliche one that no one really enjoys but this isn’t about trauma or anything it’s actually just because I’ve noticed these people tend to be very selfless and constantly sacrificing things for others without getting the same treatment in return

Pluto in the 11th house: They often are changing friend groups left and right and get betrayed by their friends due to jealousy. They tend to attract the type of friends who never seem excited for you and your achievements (unless they have other benefic 11th house placements). I have Mars in the 11th house which is the lower octave of Pluto so I semi experience this energy sometimes but not as deeply as I’ve seen Pluto in the 11h people experience it

19 degree planets: This degree is common among people who experience lots of negative karma in their life I’ve noticed

so, originally (I believe it was around either 2017 or 2018, cannot guarantee on that I’m afraid) this was a side-blog spurred from my need to compartmentalize and gush about my experience of re-reading a few of my favorite fics from the hobbit fandom. back then, in fact, I was in a slump and needed to pick myself up. so I decided to revisit fandoms who had brought me joy in the past, one of which was the bagginshield ship. hence a “nostalgia” blog!

coincidentally, one of the authors of a particular fic among those would have later on (in 2020) influenced my decision to try reading mdzs since they were considering writing a fic about it. they were (and still are!) one of my favorite fic authors, so I trusted them completely on that and that’s how I stepped into the world of danmei!

now. in regards of your second question.. thank you for letting me ramble about my new shiny interests! :D

so here’s a handy list:

1. hotd & r//haenicent :

oh, where do I start! that’s a tough one bc I’m mostly vibing in here?? like. don’t get me wrong, I love the show as it is and I do enjoy the lore behind it a great deal. I’m mostly absorbing the content and let it either shock me or impress me depending on what’s on screen. I do see the flaws but I honestly don’t care about them. I’m just vibing, as I said. but I do like to see people posting meta about the reasoning behind each character! and I love reading about the actors’ ideas behind their back stories and motivations!

my ship of choice is mostly based on the fact that I do like me some toxic-ladies-twice-divorced energy in the room and I should add that I haven’t probably been able to watch killing eve yet just so I could prepare my tastebuds with the hotd female leads first. I especially love the modern!au edits I’m seeing floating around and for now that’s enough to keep me from starving until the new season arrives.

2. the devil judge :

honestly, my focus would be gone on all planes of existence wasn’t it for @/amethystina’s fic (I don’t want to bother her with me tagging her on this, but do trust me and go read it bc it’s gonna change your life!) Who Holds The Devil. seriously, my anxiety has been so bad recently but there she glows, the most massive brain in the universe, bringing us frequent updates despite her busy schedule (and, apparently?? she wrote an entire 100k words fic in the strangers from hell fandom on a whim?? so if that’s your vibe you can go feast on that baby and have a fucking party while you’re at it. thank me later)

no but for real. it’s almost camp. almost. the drama, I mean. all it needs is a feathered boa and it checks out. outlandish villains that do be sounding a little too similar to IRL egotistical capitalist pigs, dangerous pretty ladies, rich bitches (Kang YoHan included), mysteries™️, boytoys and sassy teenagers. there are a few complains I have, ngl, but the vibes are immaculate imo. I would also offer, in a similar vein, kdramas like little women (a recent favorite of mine!), beyond evil (a classic at this point) and, on a bigger scale, the glory (which I have yet to watch, contrary to the first two).

3. helluva boss :

this one caught me off guard, ngl. I used to see it trending on tumblr often but thought it was just the most recent western brand of animation that people get hooked on for the witty dialogue and vaguely philosophical themes being explored (as u can see idk anything about these things, I thought it was similar to adventure time or smth, the fool that I was!). what I got instead was great animation and complex three-dimensional characters overall. now I’ve rewatched the entirety of the available episodes perhaps ten times. honestly, my anxiety really needed that.

as with hotd, I’m just vibing.. but I’m very engaged. I felt almost euphoric at the thought that animators and artists could just.. have fun with it? I’m sure there’s an enormous amount of work involved in the production of every single episode, so I’m just leaning back and enjoy the show. bad gays are hella entertaining and I’m here for it. coincidentally, around the same time I started actively watching the series I found out about a new queer short film that is being developed called the lovers! it’s gonna be a long wait but it’s gonna be worth it :D

4. don’t hug me I’m scared :

this was a fun one. when it first came out (idr when tho) I remember being very uncomfortable with the material. it reminded me of Flat Eric, a yellow puppet used in dance music videos of some artist or smth: it used to terrify me as a child and dhmis evoked the same reaction out of me in the beginning. but then I watched some video essay on the matter and I grew more accustomed to the feel of it and became interested in the though process behind it instead. first video I watched on the topic was about an interpretation of the show through an autistic perspective and the other was a.. I believe a 3 or 4 hours video making an overview on the whole lore behind it.

I’m not very interested in “finding out what does this all mean” or anything of the sort. I’m just here for the cosplays xD no but really, people are so inventive! and they make merchandise and dolls and drawings and full on costumes all on their own! that’s creative as fuck! and it’s unsettling and evocative at the same time. I’m baffled by everyone’s talents and I’m merely wishing to be as good as them ahah.

5. dune & the hunger games :

not sure how this happened. I have read the latter series but not the first, I don’t have time for that. but I can digest a movie or two and the visuals are very interesting to me! also I am a bene gesserit simp and I hate them and their ways in equal measure. idk why but that’s how it is. similarly, I want to see how the cast for the prequel of hunger games does! I’ve heard the lovely viola davis is in it and I’m thrilled to see her being unhinged :D

but mostly, I re-evaluated the entire hunger game trilogy by reading meta posts and fics exploring the story from different perspective in the past and this new movie reignited the interest for the time being, so I’m excited to give it a try! dune, on the other hand, is new for me and it’s helping me bond with my dad on our shared love for sci-fi. what’s not to love??

6. succession :

I’m honestly not sure about this one. I plan to look more into it but idk when I will have the time ahah. if nothing it will entertain me with rich people drama which is always obnoxiously fun to tap into when capitalism fucks me over one way or another. we will see!

Distant, quiet, and timid at first making people thought I'm a demure, modest, and self-effacing that looks "immaculate" or "one of a kind" (due to my protective mom, a reason why I've never been in a relationship) but the truth is, dunno how to initiate a conversation, but a total opposite if I open up---friendly, ambivert, witty, laughing loudly on a daily basis---like my happiness is too shallow, super talkative, eats a lot (yeah I can finish a huge slice of cake or a meal in one sitting), awkward, daydreamer (I got embarrassed from knocking at the door even I'm inside the classroom 😂), EXTREMELY CLUMSY (mostly gets bruises from hitting, bumping my head somewhere, walking into something on my way, and being careless to my belongings), secretly likes affection, easily overwhelmed, prone to melt over wholesomeness, flusters on compliments, lightly blushes on cheesy banters, eager to share what I know (especially about Catholic Church---my past teacher joked that I'll become a saint because of it 🤣), oftenly speaks full of sarcasm with a lowkey crackhead energy citing meme references, and talented girl who can be your no.1 supporter and unashamed to be true to myself but can be awkward to strangers. In terms of leadership, I only educate and guide than being a prefect (I might take the role seriously), will lift my group when there's lacking/incompleteness. About doing projects in school, I become too extra and prepared for efforts, but I'll forget the process in the end.

The extent, I'm expressive, warm-hearted, willig to help, kind, intelligent, supportive, nice, creative, enthusiastic, laid-back, determined, tough, competitive, and feisty outside, but a real softie that can be childish and dramatic that cries so easily (but will enlightened real quick by smallest things that makes me smile) filled with doubts, frustrations, and insecurities with fear of failure that pushes off the limits to to please everyone because they might get dissappointed from expectations---I simply can't stop proving myself too much because I'm a survivor of bullying. But I still managed to be stronger than ever after I stumbled, even it's a slow burn process. I can be blunt, intimidating, harsh, and a douchebag if I receive ends or I got interrupted while doing something. Immature, headstrong, perfectionist, demanding, hesitant, jumpy, forgetful, overthinker, quick-tempered, sensitive, and anxious (no joke, my nervousness makes me think worse scenario will arrive). Though can be procrastinator and arrogant, I raised as a religious 𝖺𝗇��� diplomatic youth, willing to fight what I believe (including my dreams and what's important to me) and what is right. In addition, I have a habit of staying up late and doing sign of the cross to ease nervousness.

My hobbies are singing, drawing, roleplaying, listening to music, chatting/browsing on social media, conceptualizing, writing, and reading some stuffs. I'll include making corniest jokes/puns, sleeping, and dancing when nobody's around or walking like a model if I feel so bold (even I'm terrible at both xD). I also used to learn Italian language a bit.

Things that I hate are stereotyping, HUGE creepy crawlies (spiders, toads, snakes, and cockroaches), firecracker sounds, thunder and lightning, being left out, loneliness, heart break, blackout, and judgemental people. If I found out that someone hates or backstabbing or being rude to me, I won't hesitate to throw offensive criticisms, leaving them with a "I don't give a f" attitude. One random fact about me is, I 𝗐𝗂𝗅𝗅 vent out EVERYTHING I despise in my entire existence---from bad soap operas to toxicity, worse scenarios in real life, and how terrible is my love life from unrequited feelings that I got, because it's a big deal for me, and I consider forcing me to do what I'm not into and manipulating me as my major pet peeves.

In terms of triggers...I only have two which are ta𝖨king about divorce/annullment/separation because I came from a generational broken family (it sucks that some people I knew assumed that the reason why I'm overly unaware that someone is interested in me in secret, is I have "high standards" looking for a partner, but the truth is I'm strict and I have a personal preferences...I know my worth and I don't want settle for less!) and religion/beliefs discrimination, cause' there are reasonings that doesn't makes sense because some, sounds too hypocritical, like as if you're a morally good person.

𝗥𝗢𝗠𝗔𝗡𝗖𝗘 + 𝗟𝗢𝗩𝗘 𝗟𝗔𝗡𝗚𝗨𝗔𝗚𝗘𝗦

My love languages are quality time and gift giving, but I actually swoon over physical touch (especially cuddles and cute kisses) and words of affirmation when it comes to having a partner, though I get attracted so easily, matured but can be a goofy person who's nice, friendly, kind-hearted, loving, faithful, and excels in academics is my cup of tea. Whenever I have a real life crush (which is rare), I act the same but deep inside, my heart is about to explode and will eventually share to my trustful friends how I highly admire that person, however if they spilled the beans out, I'll obviously deny it and will cry if they like someone else, it will take some time for me to move on, now I don't care for them anymore.

Best Friends to Lovers is my ideal trope because I find it very cute since you already knew each other before dating (which happened to my 2nd cousin, she married her best friend!)---perfect balance for romance, laughters, comfort, and tears when it comes to sharing your vibes, being there through thick and thin, safe with embraces, and helping each other to grow.

My best assets are smile, eyes, personality, singing voice, artistic skills, writings, intelligence, oratorical skills and I have potential in hosting...so I can consider myself as a singer, artist, orator, speaker, and a top student who's a former active campus ministry member with three roles (choir leader, psalm singer, and reader).

May sounds different but I'm passionate for helping people through my talents and sharing my story to inspire everyone. I may look selfish, but I have a different way on how I show that I actually care also I have a biased sentimental value

Currently a college freshman, learning how to cook. I have so many interests, to the point I don't know what I'm into because of my dreams to become a popular Filipino YouTuber, a novelist, and being part of a successful chorale competing internationally...I also consider joining pageants at school too once the pandemic ends, but maybe.

HP: Remus!

- Remus is also quiet and a bit reserved when he's not in a familiar situation, so your own first impression on him would be a good one, as you'd seem similar to his own personality. He's sweet and is able to start up a conversation if he notices the other person is having a hard time doing so, so hopefully he'd be able to bring out your more extroverted and friendly self after a while so he can be around the more open you. He wouldn't mind you being a bit awkward-he's very much the same way-honestly, the comradery that would come from that would be more positive than anything else. He loves sharing knowledge and learning about new things, so your eagerness to talk about what you know would work really well also! He does a lot better when he knows someone has his back too, so your extra supportive nature would endear him to you as well.

- Your nicer and more helpful personality would balance out Han's more standoffish vibes when first meeting. You might get on his nerves a bit first, but you'd quickly grown on him and, in turn, make him a bit of a better person. Your ability to be blunt and a bit harsh would serve you well if you ever needed to stand your ground on an issue that two of you have, as he can be quite stubborn.

VLD: Lance!

- Lance can be a bit immature from time to time as well, especially when it comes to trying to be funny or cheering up those around him-he's also headstrong and typically firm in what he wants to do, so your own determined personality would attract him to you a lot as well. He often puts off things he needs to do if they make him anxious too, but if you both recognize that you share that problem, helping each other might be a good solution!

Disney: Flynn!

- Flynn is quite a sarcastic and teasing person, so your own humor would match well with his. He's also quite a hopeless romantic as well, even though he's certainly not one to admit that right off the bat. He enjoys singing, and as he gets closer to someone he feels more comfortable doing so in front of them, so a partner he's been with for a long time would get to see him be more and more open with it. That also applies to activities like dancing.

anya tran can’t remember living anywhere but her little cul de sac in strawberry, nebraska. her entire life, it’s just been her and her mother.

her mother is a divorce attorney, a noncommittal hardass who catches onto anya’s shit before she even realizes she’s doing it. she’s good, so anya had to learn to be better. it’s not that her mother is a bad parent, she’s damn good honestly, they’re just two incredibly strong and conflicting personalities. anya wants to run straight in the ocean, her mother wants to soak in the sun. needless to say, some rules were bullshit from her perspective.

most of anya’s whole getup is for image, honestly. sure, she enjoys the leather and dark makeup, and has a lot more fun taking her motorcycle to work than her mom’s shitty car, but she’d really rather jam out to the spice girls, or watch something pleasant and not so fucking scary she can’t sleep. tough as she may be, she wishes she had the capacity to be proudly soft as well.

Harry promised himself as soon as you stepped foot into his classroom that he would resist all forbidden temptations that creep through the dark corners of his mind. After all, the mess that could result from these taboo temptations would end with him jobless and most likely behind bars. Though Harry may come off strong and condescending, he gets weak like all others too. He's human, after all.

Harry recalls the first session of class you appeared in as a new student. He taught high school literature: both AP (advance placement) and CP (college preparatory.) You appeared in his CP class, but between all the open class discussions Harry had and your test performances, he was fully convinced you belonged in an AP setting. He felt you were wise beyond your years, and he saw so much potential in you from the moment you spoke. You don't believe in yourself though, and you've never gone above and beyond just to do something involving school.

Though many around him believed his doctorates degree and outstanding teaching were meant for a group of mature college kids, he believed he was meant for a high school classroom. He liked the idea of giving high school kids knowledge that would help them get a head start on their college classes. He always made his classes think like college students. A majority of his students passed, but there were always the few who claimed they could care less about school. It upset Harry to see, but he never gave up on them once.

The first interaction you both had was when you so clumsily spilled your iced coffee on the floor after class ended. He hates the sticky mess, and normally would scold kids for even bringing coffee into class before making them clean it up themselves, but Harry reassured you that it was okay, just an accident, then helped you clean it up. That's when he knew he'd have such a major soft spot for you.

He could hear your soft voice in his head so clearly. "I'm so sorry sir. I'm sorry, really. I didn't mean to drop it, I just lost my grip and it fell before I could catch it." 

"It's alright, darling. Don't stress. Accidents happen, yeah? We can clean it up." Harry reassures, sending a wholehearted smile her way.  

The brief conversation resulted in something beyond both your wildest dreams. 

As the days went on, there were more brief conversations that appeared in both your schedules, whether that be a simple "hi how are you?" type of conversation or talking about your days together. You often found yourself sitting in his classroom everyday at lunch just to talk about anything and everything with a man very much older than you. You learned a lot about him during the time, vise versa. You found out he was once married, but got divorced last year when he found his wife out having affairs with men much richer than he is.

Your talks went from innocent and casual to a more romantic and sexual theme. You both always flirted, whether it be playful tickling each other in ways you're not supposed to, or the both of you going on about each others beautiful smile. Both parties were well aware of the situation at hand, along with risks and consequences, but they chose to ignore all of them. The two of you are reckless, feeling as if you could conquer the world side by side with no repercussions; maybe you do in a dream world.

Your love story was a tale destined to end horribly.

You approached him, hands locked behind your back and an innocent smile widespread across your face. 

His eyes met yours, and he slouched back slightly, spreading his legs a bit for you to stand between them. He thought you wanted something sexual, but instead you tapped his shoulder and yelled "tag!" before dashing off into the pool.

To this day, he always asked himself why he'd played such a childish game, but he didn't regret it. 

He chased after you, diving into the pool then swimming your way until you were trapped in a corner with no way out. He finally made the move and stole your first kiss like it was treasure. Your lips molded into each others like they were made for one another, and it's then you knew no one could make you feel this way like Harry has. It was a passionate kiss, but not demanding or rough.

It was blissful, and he recalls to this day never being able to take his eyes off of your immaculate beauty. 

The day was vivacious and fun. You played games in the pool: like Marco Polo. You would always end up being a fish out of water, so Harry would end up climbing out then tossing you back into the pool. You got into silly splash fights: you always starting them and him always finishing them.

That day took Harry back to more refreshing times, when he would do these things as a kid with his friends. Maybe that's why Harry longed to be around you so often: you remind him of better times. 

As the sun began setting and the air washed over with a cool breeze, you both climbed out of the pool together and made way to his steaming jacuzzi to warm yourselves up. Neither of you had sex on your mind all day until you sat down in the hot water. There was comfortable silence looming in the air, and all you could do was stare at the man looking back at you. 

"Why are you staring at me?" You speak up, shyly looking down at the bubbles forming all around the small circle. 

"I can't seem to take my eyes off you bunny," He whispers, inching closer to you until he was crouched between your legs. "You're just so beautiful."

Your faces were only inches away, and he could feel your uneven breathing hitting against his damp skin.

"Sit down." Your principle motions, an unpleasant look on his face. You both glanced each others way, unsure what to expect. 

"Mr. Styles, Miss y/l/n. We were informed by a person who would like to remain anonymous that the two of you are having sexual relationships outside of this campus." A policeman speaks up.

You looked over to Harry, unsure and scared what to say. Harry didn't look your way, instead, he kept his eyes on the police officers. 

The principle turned his computer around and played the clip of your intimate moment last Friday. It sent fear throughout your body, and you felt humiliated. Harry felt defeated, knowing the fate that awaited him. 

"That was fully consensual," you blurt out, earning the rooms attention. "I consented. Mr. Styles never, and would never force me to do that. I made that decision myself." You ramble, tears glossing over your eyes. The last thing you wanted was for Harry to be jobless, but he became just that.

“It might’ve been consensual darling, but I have my mind made up. We can’t grant permission to any student-teacher relationship here on this campus.” He says in a condescending tone.

“But Harry didn’t do anything wrong! He doesn’t deserve this! He needs his job.” You defend. You were well aware he was going to lose his job, and it’s all because you two became so wrapped up in your imaginations that you confused reality with dreams.

"And this school has a reputation to uphold. I’m sorry, but this is not up for discussion, y/n. The decision we've made is final," your principle informs with a stern tone. "Mr. Styles, you are an outstanding teacher, and I would've never dreamed of having to do this, but we can't have you on our campus anymore with a situation like this." 

You couldn't remember much from the conversation because you tuned most of it out, but you remembered so very well your painful heartbreak after school. 

School had come to an end when you were released from the principle's office, so the campus was empty. 

"Harry, please look at me. Talk to me. Say something to me." You practically beg, following him to his classroom. 

He hasn't said a word to you, nor has he even looked your way. You wanted to blame yourself for this predicament you both got yourself in, but it’s a two way street, and it would be wrong to say Harry had no part in this when he was well aware of what he was doing. 

"It's best you leave, y/n. Now." He says lowly, unlocking the door to the classroom then walking in. 

You stubbornly followed him in, not giving up just yet. You can’t give up.

"Why? Harry, I-I don't want to leave you. I can't leave you." You whisper, swallowing a lump in your throat. The only thing you wanted was for him to hold you in your arms and tell you everything would be okay because your world felt like it was falling apart, as did his.

"Why? Because this, us, is wrong. It's all fucking wrong." He seethes, turning to finally face you for a brief moment. In that moment, all you could do was let out quiet tears. He was flushed, painted with anger, sadness and regret.

To this day, he still regrets the way he made you cry and hurt, but there was nothing he could do to go back and change things. You never knew it, but he loved you too. More than life itself. 

"You and I were bound to fall apart, y/n. We weren't meant to be. It was only a matter of time." Harry says, gathering his briefcase and coat from behind his desk. 

He attempted to walk past you, but you grabbed his arm and held on for dear life. You felt like an obsessed little girl, and maybe you were. "Don't walk out on me like this, please," You beg in desperation, tears soaking up his shirt. "We have to do something! We can't just give up like this. Lovers don’t just give up.”

He snatched his arm away from you, watching you stumble back a bit in shock. "I don't want you to contact me, ever again." He says, leaving the classroom then quickly making way to his car. 

You were tempted to run after him, but all you could do was watch the man you love walk away. You were frozen in place, and you knew that if you ran after him, he'd crush your heart more than he already has. If you ran after him, he would still be walking away from you like he is now.

"I love you Harry." You whisper, but by the time those words came out, he was gone.
