DP x DC: The Most Dangerous Card Game

Ok so Danny has essentially claimed earth as his. And he is fully aware that there are constant threats to the planet. Now he can’t stop a threat that originates on earth (that’s something he’ll leave to the Justice league) but he can do something about outside threats. Doing some research on ancient spells, rituals, and artifacts, he cast a world wide barrier on the planet to protect it from hostile threats so they cannot enter. This will prevent another Pariah Dark incident. However, barriers like this come at a price. You see, there are two ways to make a barrier. Either make one powered up by your own energy and power (which would be constantly draining) or set up a barrier with rules. The way magic works is that nothing can be absolutely indestructible. It must have a weakness. The most powerful barriers weren’t the ones reinforced with layer after layer of protective charms and buffed up with power. Those could eventually be destroyed either by being overpowered, wearing them down, or by cutting off the original power source. No, the most powerful barriers were the ones with a deliberate weakness. A barrier indestructible except for one spot. A cage that can only be opened from the outside. Or that can only be passed with a key or by solving a riddle. So Danny chooses this type of barrier and does the necessary ritual and pours in enough power to make it. And he adds his condition for anyone to enter. 

Now the Justice league? Find out about the barrier when Trigon attempts to attack, they were preparing after he threatened what he would do once he got to earth. How he would destroy them. The Justice league tried to take the fight to him first but were utterly destroyed, so they retreated home to tend to their injuries, and fortify earth for one. Last. Stand. Only when Trigon makes his big entrance…he’s stopped.

The Justice league watch in awe as this thin see-through barrier with beautiful green swirls and speckled white lights like stars apears blocking Trigon and his army’s advance. The barrier looks so thin and fragile yet no matter how hard the warlord hits, none of his attacks can get through and neither can he damage said barrier. That’s when Constantine and Zatanna recognizes what this barrier is. Something only a powerful entity could create. For a moment, the league is filled with hope that Trigon can’t get through yet Constantine also explains that it’s not impenetrable. And clearly Trigon knows this too for he calls out a challenge. 

And that’s when, in a flash of light, a tiny glowing teenager appears. He looked absolutly minuscule compared to Trigon and yet practically glowed with power (this isn’t a King Danny AU though).

And that is when the conditions for passing the barrier are revealed. And the Justice realize that the only thing stopping Trigon and his army from decimating earth. The only way he can get through….is by beating this glowing teenager in a card game. 

Not just any card game though. The most convoluted game Sam, Danny, and Tucker invented themselves. It’s like the infinite realms version of magic the gathering, combined with Pokémon, and chess. And Danny is the master. So sit down Trigon and let’s play.

After Danny wins, this happens a few more times with outer word beings and possibly even demons attempting to invade earth, yet none have been able to beat the mysterious teenager in a card game. Constantine might even take a crack at it and try to figure out how to play. He’s really bad though. Every time this happens, the Justice league worry that this might be the time the teenager looses. Yet every time, he wins (even if only barely). 

Meanwhile, Danny, Sam, and Tucker have gotten addicted to the game and play it almost daily. Some teachers might seem them playing the game are are like ‘awww how cute’ not realizing this game is literally saving the world. Jazz is just happy they aren’t spending as much time on their screens playing Doomed.

I made a new Irken OC. His name is Diz and he's a security guard.

Overall, he's a pretty chill guy, although he takes his job pretty seriously. He's never left Irk, but his friend, Vee (whom I have yet to properly draw), works on the Massive and she tells him about her travels whenever she and the Tallests return home.

Yes, that is a gun holster on his belt. He has a stun-gun thing that immobilizes Irkens by overwhelming their PAKs with an electric pulse. It makes his job a lot easier. Still figuring out what it looks like; having trouble finding in-universe stuff to use for reference.

Having never been off-planet, Diz has also never actually seen a non-Irken before. I'm sure that won't be a problem in the future.

Whipped this together in a night to get used to painting again and, while I’m a bit rusty and it’s not my biggest or most complicated work, I’m still really pleased with it! It’s also got the honour of being my first fanart since I was 14, so that’s giving it bonus points in my book (Riddle School stays winning in my brain ig.) Although, technically, it counts as an illustration for Riddle V.I.Z.ion more than fanart, seeing as I’ve fucked off somewhere far into the distance as far as actual RS canon is concerned XD

Ace Trappola

Initially, Ace enjoyed having Stitch join the two of you, having fun as you all laughed, played, and hung out together with the other students at the island. But as he watched you grow increasingly attached to Stitch, and the way the blue furball kept clinging to you in return, a sense of irritation began to gnaw at him.

Ace tried to brush it off at first. As one of your first and closest friends at school, he’d been around you long enough to know your kindness extended to everyone and that you had a soft spot for small creatures like Stitch. But the feeling persisted, growing stronger with each passing day. He'd always been confident in his ability to captivate you, to make you smile and laugh with his silly jokes and antics. But hearing your constant giggles caused by Stitch, seeing you completely captivated by the alien's boundless energy and goofy charm, caused jealousy to stir within him.

Despite his efforts to act nonchalant, he couldn't help but secretly glare, his eyes narrowing slightly as he watched you and Stitch engrossed in your own little world. He would constantly find himself making excuses to be near you two, subtly inserting himself into your interactions. Although he wouldn’t admit it to anyone, he was jealous of the attention Stitch was receiving from you, jealous of the laughter that now echoed around you—a laughter that didn't include him. He was jealous of the little alien beside you who could effortlessly steal your attention and openly show his affection to you without getting embarrassed or teased by others.

Floyd Leech

Floyd didn't like it one bit. Sure, playing with the alien Stitch was fun and all, but seeing you constantly fawning over the little guy, ignoring Floyd in the process, sent a flicker of discontent across his face. Floyd got easily jealous when others stole your attention away from him. You were his precious shrimpy, after all.

Like Ace, he would try to wedge himself between you and Stitch to draw your attention. One moment he’d join in the fun with forced enthusiasm, only to get bored and withdraw the next due to his unpredictable mood swings. When his attempts to capture your attention failed and you remained engrossed with Stitch, Floyd’s mood darkened further.

He felt a suffocating sense of possessiveness, yearning for your undivided attention and affection. He wanted you all to himself. As he watched Stitch snuggle into your side, resting his head on your lap while you gently stroked his fur with a tender smile, his scowl deepened, his heart burning with jealousy. Unable to bear it any longer, he stormed over, yanking Stitch away. Then, grabbing you by the waist, he settled you onto his lap, wrapping his arms tightly around you in a possessive embrace. He buried his face in the crook of your neck, whining that you should play with him too. He snuggled even closer, ignoring the growling blue alien glaring daggers at him.

Riddle Rosehearts

From a distance, Riddle watched as Stitch playfully perched on your shoulder, nuzzling your cheek with his big, round nose, drawing a soft giggle from you. This playful interaction sparked an unfamiliar pang of jealousy within him. Though he tried to maintain a composed exterior, his eyes betrayed him, narrowing, and a faint frown would crease his face as he watched the cheerful duo.

Every now and then, Riddle would find an excuse to interject, gently scolding you for spoiling the little creature too much. His tone was stern, but deep down, he knew his disapproval was driven more by envy than genuine concern. He couldn't bear to watch you so happy together, knowing that he longed for that same closeness, though confessing such feelings wasn't easy for him.

Under the pretense of keeping an eye on them, Riddle would stay close, claiming it was to prevent any potential trouble Stitch might cause. His true motive, however, was far more personal. He wanted to be near you too, to share in the moments of joy you experienced with Stitch. He would stand nearby, arms crossed, his gaze unwavering as he watched you and Stitch bond. As he watched, he would often tap his finger on his arm or his foot on the sandy beach in silent frustration, his jealousy growing. Yet,  he kept his emotions tightly in check, not wanting to make his feelings obvious to you or anyone else.

Saw Ivan!Azul again today (alien stage) and got an idea - Would the boys ask for a permission for kiss? And mini stories to them~

Triggers: Ooc, smooching, grammar issues (cause I started to write this at 7am with 4hs of sleep, and continued with brain error of Rook's bday card...), can get a bit angsty (looks at Leona)

Riddle Rosehearts

- Look at him, and what do you think.

- Of COURSE he would ask.

- Pretty sure there are even rules about that in place.

- So, let's go with "Kisses are allowed" in Heartslabyul

- Riddle would be so incredibly polite about it, just as the rules say you should be ("you must always ask for permission!")

- When he asks, he is so flustured, his grayish eyes uncertain of what you will say - but he will respect your decision.

- The second you give him permission, his eyes light up, potentially even rivaling the stars themselves.

- He has the softest smile you have ever seen, on him, on anyone!

- The kiss is sweet, perhaps maybe a bit too short for your liking. His flushed face is so incredibly worth seeing tho.

- Sadly, Queen's rules are simple - one kiss per day! (Oh you can see Riddle being so upset and gazing at your lips for reminder of the day...)

- After a week, he sadly turns into a little rule breaker... He can't help himself...

- If kisses are illegal, you have Riddle gazing on you, his eyes so often looking at your lips.

- Oh he wants to kiss you, but... Rules! He is a housewarden, he has to listen!!

- It gets so bad that nearly everyone can see it! (And then there's you, being blind.)

- Actually, it's so bad that poor Riddle even hears "Just break rules Goldfishie~" in library, but he always fails to find the oversized mer who's voice he is hearing (seriously, where is he?!)

- Eventually, Riddle gives in, and asks you, breaking the rules!

- The kiss becomes your favorite memory, and Riddle tries to keep it a secret (stealing kisses when... "noone" is looking)

- Eventually, he gives up, and decides to make a special day in which the rule gets lifted! That day, you get a lot of kisses (if you allow.)

- I think, Leona, as much as he wants to be cool, he knows consent is sexy.

- The issue is - It's Leona.

- You think he will actually ask? No.

- He will look at you, wanting to kiss you so badly.

- But why should he. What's the point? You are probably already dating someone else. If not, you are smitten by someone else.

- This time, it's not you who's blind. This giant cat is too wrapped in his own self-doubt.

- He was resting on your lap and you were gently playing with his hair. Watching his ears occasionally flicker. It was adorable to see his ears act like that...

- Without knowing, your hands ended up playing with his ears.

- "Cut it off Herbivore." He complained, looking up at you. That smile of yours was... so.... precious. He adored it. So much.

- Not like he would say it.

- "What's on your mind?" You asked him, noticing of how his eyes weren't looking into yours, but rather... at your lips.

- "Do it." You said, voice confident. You believed you knew what the lion wanted.

- And you were probably right as his eyes snapped wide open. A breathless "What?" escaped his lips.

- You didn't say anything, just gave him an encouraging smile.

- Leona's ears flickered once again. He was quiet. His eyes staring into yours. Trying to find a lie, deceit.

- Instead he saw you looking at him with so much love.

- "Fine. Can I kiss you, Herbivore?"

- You barely started to nod, when you felt his lips against yours. It was passionate... but you felt all his love and adoration poured into that kiss.

- Wait, how did you end up on your back....?!

- Sadly, in the end, you were turned into a cuddle buddy... Actually, is that bad?

- If you fell asleep before Idia, he returned those kisses (on your cheek... nose... forehead... just not on your mouth.)

- In the morning, you saw a message 'can i kiss u?' on your phone from him. You chuckled as he was on his phone, sitting on his chair. You responded with a thumbs-up, and that's when he kissed you, for real, this time!

- It takes Lilia's encouragement for Malleus to lock in...

- So you and Malleus were in the library, the moon already in the sky, but neither of you rushed. There were no morning classes!

- And what were you two doing? You were Malleus's number 1 assistant in Gargoyle Crafting!

- You have no clue how, but your Gargoyle crafting ended up in a small dance (in which you struggled, and the pretty dragon fae said he would teach you personally...) and now the faces of you two were so... close...

- Your heart was beating so fast... You could feel your cheeks practically burn. His green eyes staring into yours... "Can I kiss you?"

- You noticed his cheeks turn slightly red, as you nodded. Then you closed your eyes... and felt his soft lips against yours.

- Poor Gargoyle remained unfinished, as you two ended up getting distracted with kisses.

- The next day, you just heard a loud an extremely loud gasp - as you and Malleus happened to hold hands when Sebek saw you.... Don't tell him how many times you two kissed in a single day....

i had a haze against phil eggtree lastnight, i got so happy to see him i wanted him dead
