Jinx is funny as hell tho. She tries so hard to stray away from genuine connections and deeper emotions so she tries to make these big jokes but just. No one ever goes along with her bit.
I can see her thoughts when she's waiting for Vi to sober up like "ok so we're not gonna acknowledge that several months ago I almost killed her/tried baiting her into killing me. I'm gonna write my name on my cheek and it's gonna be so damn funny that Vi won't be mad at me and I can tell her about Vander."
or the fucking "it's me! Your big, fat hero!" met with nothing but quiet sincerity and gratitude. it catches her off guard bc she's not getting the theatrics that she expected from people that would follow someone like her, she just gets genuine acceptance.
#part of me is like ''yeeessss make her acknowledge her emotions and act more sincerely with people''#and another part is like ''can ANYONE just riff with her??? Just for ONE joke???''#this is why she kept Isha around#Isha loved to go along with the bit#arcane spoilers#arcane s2 spoilers

Just random random headcannons about my wife <3
She makes lots of noises; grunts, sighs, groans. Itâs basically a language that only you can understand at this point.
âHmph,â she grunted with her usual grumpy expression. âYou want cuddles?â She nods her head in response.
Snores but denies it. Itâs like when youâre sharing a hotel room with your family and your dadâs snoring keeps you awake; staring at the ceiling. Youâve told her multiple times but she just doesnât believe it.
âYou kept me awake all night,â you said in disbelief as your utterly exhausted eyes met hers. âUh-huh, how? Do NOT say because I was snoring.ââYou were snoring.â
But in all seriousness, she started sleeping on her sideâthe snoring was due to her sleeping on her back.
Doesnât care for public affection, not that she wonât slip her arm around your waist or have her hand on your thigh once in a whileâbut it isnât often.
(Saw someone else say this)âabsolutely loves dad jokes. She wonât laugh at anything else but dad jokes.
âHey babe,â you slid next to her on the couch. âHm?ââWhat days are the strongest?â you asked. âI donât know,â she shrugged. âSaturday and Sunday,â you started to smile. âWhy?â She was slightly curious. ââCause the rest are weekdays,â she couldnât even hold it before she burst out laughing.
Takes her mechanical arm off before she goes to bed because she doesnât wanna hurt you.
Tough with everyone else but you, Jinx and Isha (theyâre alive and well).
Isha made a cheerful noise as she raised her tea cup. Sevika sat across from her, hunched over the small table, teacup in hand. She pretended to drink from it, âMm, nice.â
Perfers actions over wordsâfor example, her version of an apology is by doing more of what she shouldâve done in the past. If she wasnât spending much time with you before, sheâd immediately take it upon herself to fix her schedule.
VERY protective, especially when youâre at The Last Drop, nothing escapes her vision.
Once, this guy attempted to flirt with you but before he could get a word out, he was immediately met with a deadly glare from her. She pulled you closer towards her with a raised eyebrow, âYou got something to say?â That sent him babbling in fear, âUh-no, no, of course not!âââGet out of my sight.â
Claims sheâs not an animal person but will come home with a kitten she found on the street.
âIt wouldnât stop following me,â she said while avoiding eye contact with you. You knew she was lying.
Sometimes when she comes back from work sheâll just collapse on the couch. Sheâs a busy woman, alright?
Jinx cut her hair then made fun of her afterwards.
Jinx cackled after she looked at the final product, âSweetcheeks ainât gonna love you now, are they?â The older woman simply grumbled under breath, âYouâre the one who cut it.ââYeah and I made it ugly on purpose.â
You ended up loving her hair anyway.
Secretly likes when you lay on top of her; loves seeing how comfortable you are
Sheâs always warm; your personal heater
Somehow gives the best hugsâbear hugs, but is so awkward with it
Takes the longest showers known to mankind; once she gets in, be prepared to wait about an hour. Meanwhile, half the time itâs just her staring at the wall.
Will let Isha climb her on rare occasions; sometimes the girl gets insanely hyper and is moving all over the place.
Says sheâs ânot fond of kidsâ but has a soft spot for them.
A little boy with blue-dyed hair walked up to her while she was outside one day. âH-hi, can you please sign this?â He asked in a soft-spoken manner, showing a drawing, offered with a crayon. She didnât respond but took the paper and signed her name on the back. Internally, she was in disbelief that this boy looked up to her in some way. âThank you!â He gave a big smile before running back to his group of friends, happily showing them the signature. A twitch edged at the end of her mouth.

"I think the cycle only ends when you find the will to walk away."
Got a lot of Q's for this in my inbox. Figured I'd just address them here.
tw: mentions of suicide, suicidal ideation
Re: the ending of S2:
Jinx did not die.
She symbolically killed her old self, and with it, her last ties to the past that imprisoned her. She understood that for her sister to move on and live her life - be happy without guilt - she'd have to renounce the bonds that held them together.
Her talk with ghostly Silco was the 'sign-off' she'd been waiting for, ever his dutiful daughter. Throughout S2, she kept hoping he'd haunt her, and in doing so, offer some impetus given her aimlessness. Maybe just straight up boss her around, and tell her how she's supposed to exist now that he's no longer there to be a (subversive if loving) guiding hand.
But it was the promise of time (as represented by Ekko) healing old wounds, and the courage to feel, as she once had - a hopeful child with a hopeful future - that allowed Jinx to commit impetus to action.
Her blimp-ship in the climactic battle is a tribute to Isha - but also to the child in Jinx's own fractured psyche: Powder. She's letting both little girls have one last hurrah before she takes care of business - and cuts off the last oaths, duties and commitments that bind her to a past whose parameters she's outgrown.
Better still, she knows she's got the capacity to outgrow them.
That was the point of Jinx's arc with Isha, and why, no matter my misgivings on Isha's character herself, I found Jinx's trajectory towards a more nurturing and fun-loving figure more life-affirming and positive than the straightforward 'Daddy's Villain Goes Postal' shtick.
It's even why there's a minigame titled Jinx Fixes Everything. It's Jinx, struggling and stumbling, as she tries to rewrite her narrative, and finds in herself the capacity to do good.
To fix things that seem irreparably broken.
And to understand why she's reached this stage, we've got to let go of our tendency to project our own stuff onto Jinx (precious meow meow, unrepentant terrorist, manic pixie crazypants, edgy hot psycho) and acknowledge the purpose she plays in Arcane's thematic structure.
Jinx's character comes off as a death-seeker, and that's no shocker. She is hounded by terrible guilt and loss. She's got blood on her hands, and ghosts on her heels, and no matter what she does, she can't seem to be rid of them. Her inner mind's fractured, her mannerisms ooze pure chaos, and she seems a creature of pure feral impulse and no mercy.
That's the Jinx we're accustomed to seeing in S1 - except that's also both the front she's most likely to put on during that timeline, and the persona that is necessary for her to inhabit to survive, as Silco's daughter and his top enforcer.
Then Silco kicks the bucket, she symbolically fulfills his dream by shooting at the Council HQ, she accepts that she must inhabit this path of shadows and loneliness (as symbolized by her starkly decorated chair in the tea party scene), she accepts the fragmented push-and-pull between past and present, and...
And now what?
Silco's given her a semblance of direction for six years, and he's gone. Vi, the sister she'd hoped would return, and whom she'd hinged so many childishly idealized hopes on, is herself traumatized, and afraid of what her sister's become.
Jinx has her shadows and her loneliness. Jinx is traumatized. Jinx is suicidal.
But Jinx is still, whatever else, alive.
And all living things need connections.
That's why we as the audience enjoy her little found family dynamic with Isha and Sevika. It's Jinx, taking the first tentative steps to reach out to people beyond Silco and Vi, and realizing, wow, she enjoys the pay-off.
And all throughout S2, we see Jinx growing more and more comfortable in this newfound space - even jealously guarding it at the expense of Zaun's liberty, and Silco's wishes, because she can't bear to lose what she's found.
And what she finds empowers her enough that, when Warwick shows up, she's actually willing to reach out to Vi, and call upon their family connection, because Jinx is learning the value of bonds, not as baling hooks of guilt, but as buoys to carry her forward.
That's the story Jinx's relationships serve to tell in S2. Each one shapes the choice she makes in the finale. Until she learns to accept the past (Vi), to lay the monsters to rest (Silco and Vander/Warwick), forgive herself (Caitlyn) trust that time heals all wounds (Ekko), and hope for happier new beginning (Isha), she'll never trust herself enough to just seize the chance.
Jinx's culminating arc is not about death, much less self-erasure. It's about resurrection, and embracing the sublime chaos of a freed mind, and a lightened spirit. That's what she craves beyond simple death, and what her baptism by fire, blood and riverwater, has been about.
Each trial grinds her down into someone else. Someone new.
Someone closer to who she is meant to be, rather than who she's expected to be.
That's why she's so glad to make the sacrifice for Vi. She's not dying as an act of self-immolation. She's giving her sister - the one who's proven she'll never give up on her - the ultimate gift, and showing Vi that she deserves to live.
She needs Vi to live, so Jinx, the persona, can finally die.
"He (Silco) didn't make Jinx. You did."
She's basically saying, "I love you, I will always be with you, but you are no longer responsible for my actions. Please move forward with your life, and grant me the choice to do the same."
It's two sisters embracing everything they've meant to each other, acknowledging the pain weighing them down on both sides, and welcoming the new so they can each slough off old paradigms and live life as a whole person - or at least take steps to remembering what wholeness feels like.
That's the reason the show's final shots linger on the Hexgate tunnels, Jinx's monkey bomb, and the aircraft.
It's the show's way of reminding us that Jinx has ascended to a different version of her identity - one removed from the past that haunted her. It's Jinx, finally striking out alone, away from the sister whose memory she clung so desperately to, and who was, in turn, horrified by her hand in making Powder a monster (perceived guilt or real, fandom may debate ad nauseum) due to past mistakes and abandonment.
The ending of Arcane isn't tragic. It's deeply hopeful, and serves as a reminder that no matter how damaged you think you are, and no matter how monstrous the world finds you, there are still ways to come back to yourself - or to walk the path toward a new you.
Jinx is symbolized by crows. Jinx is shown with firelights emerging from her mouth. Jinx is depicted holding a torch like Janna ushering in the winds of change.
Thematically, Jinx is change.
And the best way she can embody that change is to write her story, and make it her own.

I think one of the many things wrong with Jinx this season is how like, half of her personality was cut off and thrown out.
Like her reaction to grief. We see her suicidal after Silcoâs death and sheâll be again very suicidal after Ishaâs death. Makes sense. Donât have notes on that part. However I have so much notes on her rage. In s1 we see Powder sometimes responding to bad situation by being shy and sad, but sometimes she reacts in a more adversarial way, like complaining they should try fighting Piltover or trying to stand up to Mylo. But we also get these moments like when sheâs left behind and has an absolute meltdown and starts wrecking shit but more importantly her reaction to Silco. He says theyâll show them all and she throws the audience the most rage fueled look youâve ever seen. When really pushed beyond her limits this is Powderâs emotional reaction to tragedy/being wronged. We see that all throughout acts II and III and we see it when she blows up the council after Silco dies. And thatâs the problem cos thatâs the part thatâs missing from s2. They cut her personality in half and only kept one half. Anger as part of her personality and reaction to grief was discarded when writing her in s2. Even tho she goes through a lot of grieving in s2.
Another example is Isha. Jinx prioritizing family and just chilling? Wanting affectionate interactions with family? Having an easier relationship with a younger family member cos there arenât any expectations or need to prove anything or gain anyoneâs attention? No fear of abandonment/betrayal? She just has this kid who hero worships her and follows her around like a puppy so no stress? No notes. However I have a lot of notes about Jinxâs paranoia and how not normal and possessive and toxic she is about relationships. And I have notes on the generational trauma. Where did all that go? Thatâs not how ppl work. Living in a messed up society and Silcoâs parenting wonât just evaporate like that cos Isha is just so overwhelmingly cute. Itâs more likely that Jinx would corrupt the kid. (which you could argue on paper she does cos the kid in the end thought that suicide was dope but why did the narrative frame it as this beautiful thing lol)
And on the topic of fighting Piltover where did âwe beat the enforcers with just the four of us imagine what the whole Lanes could doâ go? Jinx definitely prioritized family more but she wasnât neutral or indifferent on the Piltover matter. The enforcers wrong her/hurt her/threaten her family yet again, they kidnapped Isha, and she just acts panicked and sad, but also jokes and quips while on the mission. Whereâs the rage and hatred and desire for revenge on the ppl who wronged her? Sometimes itâs just ppl around her being mean or lying or smth, anyone could be her enemy, like Sevika, Silco or Vi, but a lot of the time itâs Piltover, they killed her parents, they were her fathersâ enemies and drove them to hate each other, they chased them as kids and tried to arrest them, they kidnapped and abused Vi in prison all her adolescence, they would have killed Vi so she blew up the whole blockade, Council tried to turn Silco against her and now heâs dead so she bombs them, all her life she can see that the quality of their life is bad bcos of Piltover, sheâs in Jayceâs apartment and immediately goes for the sandwich. Jinx doesnât come off as a very politically/ideologically motivated character but what happened to all her personal beef with Piltover?
They also inexplicably just ceased to write her fucking up all the time. what about her yâknow, being a jinx? In s1 even in acts II and III when she is proficient in fighting and bomb-making they still constantly show her being more of a burden and fucking up in other ways. While never explained (which was good) to me it came off as a symptom of trauma and being neurodivergent, like how ADHD kids canât escape the allegations that theyâre lazy, but on a meta level it did make it feel like she was supernaturally cursed. Part of what felt so profound and empowering about s1 finale and her embracing being jinx it that it was her embracing that sheâs different (and âwrongâ in some ways) and can never live a happy life in the society she lives in and so she lashes out. Now she just chills and nothing ever doesnât go her way (ig until Isha died but that wasnât even directly her fault, Isha just acted on her own choice and agency). Suddenly her mental issues donât exist or get in the way of her socializing and being a part of society. This bigoted, violent and unfair society.
Donât even get me started on her mannerisms. Remember how she would bite her lip? Iâm not sure if she does that even once in s2. âSister, thought I missed herâ??? let Jinx rhyme sometimes and in general say weird shit, not one-liners.
So the only way for the writers to have Jinx do nothing, heal up completely and just chill with a kid in her lair (and really everything else she does (or doesnât do) this season) is to get rid of half of her personality, the traits that would dictate she take action and feel wrath and lash out/hurt her loved ones in the process.
All of her tragic traits from s1 that made her Jinx were just erased, not changed throughout the course of an arc, absent from the get go, so that they can have her say that Jinx is dead and have it make sense in the context of s2 cos from her very first appearance is s2 this Jinx was devoid of pretty much all of her jinx-y character traits from s1.

Hey chat...
I literally have so many scenarios in my head it's killing me
Could you do a scenario where the reader shields Isha from the blast (or whatever) which results in her on the verge of death. How will jinx deal with it? And how will she save her
(I'm trying to cope with the loss of my baby Isha đđ)
Sure! Here ya go but probably sucks, havenât wrote one of these in a while! Enjoy!

Sacrificial

You could only process what the girl was thinking when her small feet started running past you helping Jinx off the ground.
The familiar act was so hard to miss. It was like watching Powder all over again all those years ago the night everything went wrong.
You couldnât handle it again.
âJinx? Jinx- Iâm so sorry.â You apologized to your lover on the ground. Jinx looked at you, confused with her face having splatters of blood drops. But she was so confused. What were you sorry for?
It only clicked when she saw you running after Isha into what she knew she would never get you back from.
âNo- no!â Jinx cried out, getting up with the look of horror on her face when you ran. She tried reaching for you like you did her all those years ago, only to fall short. She lost you.
She lost you before you even got to the girl.
Isha was right within your grip, tears falling from your face as you knew you wouldnât be coming back home to your lovers and your bed.
âIsha!â You yelled, reaching for her as she kept running, shoving gemstone after gemstone into Jinxâs gun.
â(Name)! Isha! No!â Jinx cried, trying her best to get to the both of you as Isha slid to the ground, moving just like Jinx taught her to as she finally got to Vander.
Jinx was caught by Vi, crying and blubbering as her heart and chest constricted at the thought of you leaving her with her mind.
What was she gonna do? She couldnât fix this once it was done.
Isha had barely mimicked Jinx back at her, the little finger gun motion breaking your head. Isha wasnât dying. This wasnât how she was gonna say goodbye.
Isha lifted the gun to Vander, and by the look on his face as he saw you nearing you could tell he had no control over this. Just like back then.
Isha had barely closed her eyes, and you saw the smile on her face. She looked almost content to die. Like it was a release. You felt bad for taking it from her.
She barely pulled the trigger when you grabbed her, pulling her to your chest and curling around her.
Ishaâs eyes shot open, panicked for a split second as she tried to push you away and out of there. But you were older. Stronger. The way you wished when you were younger to be like Vi.
You barely managed a smile to Isha as you held her, and even years later she could still hear your voice and see your smile as you whispered in her ear.
âYouâll be okay. Take care of her for me, will ya?â
The gun went off.
And you were gone.
The reaction was immediate. Isha didnât feel you anymore. She was cold, your arms around her gone as she finally opened her eyes after praying to whatever god there was that you were okay.
Nothing.
Not anything of you was left behind.
All she heard was Jinxâs wailing, and her little heart dropped to her stomach at the realization.
You were gone.
Because of her. Isha took you from Jinx.
âIsha! Why- why would you do that?!â Jinx cried, even though she knew youâd hate to hear the words coming from her mouth but she couldnât stop herself.
She pushed Vi off of her, running to Isha out of relief and anger as she searched for you to come up with nothing.
She grabbed the girl by her shoulders, crying and blubbering as she sobbed.
âWhy would you- (Name)?! (Name)!â Jinx cried, yelling it out as she searched for you.
Isha had no idea what to do with Jinxâs anger but cry with her as she felt your absence.
Jinx wasnât able to process this, and Vi could only watch as the one thing her sister held dear to her heart from when they were kids, you, was gone. Just like that.
Jinxâs sobs turned to wails as she felt her heart being ripped from her chest. This wasnât how it was supposed to be.
You were supposed to be okay. Vander was supposed to come back. They were supposed to stay and be happy. Vi could even be there.
Jinx had her family back, and now it was all gone.
Her wails kept going, she gripped onto Isha cause she would be damned if she let her out of her sight for her to be taken to.
Her head fell to Ishaâs shoulder, the girl's cries mixing with her own as Ishaâs little fingers gripped onto her.
Jinx and Isha crumbled together on the floor, crying and sniffling and sobbing. What happens now? What comes next?
How can anything come nextâŚwhen youâre gone?

Beauty Created in the Strangest Way
(amab) Sevika x (afab) Harpy reader headcanons
Men and minors DNI
Warnings: fluff, dead dove content, dead animals, depression, smut, breeding, breastfeeding
Jinx and Isha cammeos
SFW
âYou and Sevika cuddle and sleep every night in your makeshift nest. She's completely forgotten her own bed exists.
âIsha has been teaching Sevika American Sign Language and cues you use to communicate with the lack of hands, while Jinx has been teaching you to speak. You couldn't get it right the first few times, but slowly, you mimicked her. And to Sevika's dismay, you occasionally go on cursing tangents.
âYou hide any feathers you take off into her hair. Sometimes, you come to her with any old flight feathers and bring them to her as a gift. She now has a box dedicated to all the feathers you give her or that she finds herself.
âSevika noticed something strange about you. Recently, you had become more motherly and protective towards Isha when she and Jinx visited and stayed over. You nearly suffocated Isha trying to incubate her and always kept her in your makeshift nest. You would follow her around to make sure she was safe, even to the bathroom- outside, of course. Even harpies understand privacy.
âWhen Isha wasn't there, you'd baby Sevika. You would chew her food and try to regurgitate it back to her. You'd bring her any rats or mice you caught in the apartment and tried getting her to eat them. Sometimes you'd leave them on her pillow as she slept, scaring the fuck out of her when she woke up.
âThe feathers around your chest and inner thighs were falling off. Some you pulled yourself. Your intimate areas were becoming more visible. Sevika had to slap some clothes on you so you wouldn't scar Jinx and Isha by accidentally flashing them.
âShe's begun doing more research on harpies. She's read on behaviors, diet, anatomy, and mating habits and rituals.
âShe learned that the change in behavior was due to the upcoming mating season. You were getting ready to raise a baby, explaining your treatment towards Isha, a child.
âYou've stood in your nest for days, not getting up for food or water. Sevika had to get it for you. To lessen the load on you, she would take turns on keeping the nest warm. She wanted to get an understanding of what she might get into.
âThen, one miraculous day, you laid an egg. The egg was as large as an emu's, with brown freckles scattered around the white shell. You were so proud of your creation that you brought it to Sevika the moment she returned from work. She could see the joy in your eyes as your feathered tail wagged. She placed a gentle kiss on the egg before handing it back to you.
âShe watched as you kept the egg warm under your feathers for 2 months.
âShe also watched as the disappointment and sadness glossed over your eyes when month 3 hit and your first egg never hatched.
âYou became depressed after your first egg didn't hatch. You wouldn't eat or leave the nest, not wanting to leave your precious egg unattended. Sevika had to fight you to get the egg out, which resulted in several scratches and bites on her attached arm and repairs needed on her mechanical one.
âYou hadn't eaten in a few days. You refuse to eat. Not even your favorite food, thawed rats, tempts you. Sevika doesn't know what to do.
âShe brings Jinx and Isha over; she needed some help.
"She won't eat, Jinx! I'm terrified! What if I lose her?" Sevika rambles.
Isha is currently combing through your hair and feathers in comfort.
"When did she stop eating?" Jinx asked.
"After I took her egg away."
"Why would you take her egg away? It's like kidnapping a baby. Even I wouldn't do that," Jinx crossed her arms. "You practically took her baby away."
"Damn it, I know. But her egg didn't hatch. She wouldn't leave her egg. I had to take it."
"What if you get her a fake egg?" Jinx proposes.
"Where in the world am I going to get an egg the size of Isha's head?"
"I dunno," Jinx shrugged. "Wait, did you say the size of Isha's head? Damn...Which side did she push it from?"
"Jinx!" Sevika scolded.
"What? Geez, I can't ask?" Jinx puts her hands up in defense.
Sevika huffed as she looked over at you. She saw how motherly you were with Isha. She didn't know what to do. She felt helpless, and that was her most hated feeling.
âOne night, as she lays in the nest next to you, she thinks back on the research she did. She remembers a page she read on mating rituals and habits. Female harpies have been known to force humans into mating and becoming sperm donors, resulting in female offspring. Then, an idea popped into her mind; she could willingly mate with you.
âThe next morning, she caresses your face, her calloused hands running over your skin. You let out a small tired trill as you're awaken with rare gentleness.
"Morning, Birdie. You okay?" She asked, her thumb running along your cheek. You shake your head, resting it against her chest.
"I can make it better."
NSFW
âSevika kisses you with passion and sweetness. She puts all her love in the way she kissed you, the way her hands roamed your feathered body.
âHer hands slip off the tube top and boxers she lended you, revealing your fully naked parts to her. She worshipped your nipples with her mouth as her thick fingers ran along your slip.
"You want this, my good girl?" She whispered into your ear. You nod, letting soft moans slip out.
âHer fingers start at a low pace inside you at first but speed up when you beg her to.
"P-please, fuck, fuck," you choke out.
âWhen she makes you come, you waste no time in struggling to take her pants off, but damn these wings.
â She's huffing and panting as she thrusts her hips up as her cock drives deeper into your tight pussy. The sounds of skin slapping echo throughout the room. Your gummy walls gripped her like a vice, sucking her in further, the tip of her cock hitting your cervix. Your wings wrap around her as she brings you closer to another orgasm.
"Co...come..ing!" You squeak as your walls spasm around her.
"Fuck!" Sevika groans, her hips thrusting up a final time, her hands holding your hips down as she shoots thick ropes of cum into your womb.
âShe peppers kisses all over your face after coming down from her orgasm. She gently lays you down against the pillows, allowing you to relax before moving her hips again, fucking her cum more into your womb. Your tits bounce with every impact of her hips against your thighs.
âShe lifts your hips up, angling them, her shaft rubbing against that special spongy spot that makes you see stars. The friction quickly brings you to your third climax. She slows her movements.
â The next thing you know, she's folding you in half, knees to your chest, into a mating press, roughly pounding herself at the delicious angle. Her heavy balls, churning copious amounts of cum, slap against your slightly feathered ass.
âShe's whispering sweet nothings into your ears as she gets close.
"Gods, I love you so much. Good girl. I can't wait to have a baby with you."
âHer hips deliver the final blow as she busts more seed into your womb, holding you close. Her cum drips out with her cock inside, your womb and pussy filled to the brim.

SFW (again)
âSevika is happy when you begin eating again.
âShe's awoken in the middle of the night by you shaking her to show her the five new eggs you finished laying. She smiled, a tear slipping out her eye.
âIt's been two more months. Any day now, the eggs should hatch. Sevika has called in sick with food poisoning and is staying at home. She wants to be there when her babies are born.
âYou two are asleep when the sounds of cracking break the silence of the night. You two immediately perk up at the noise. You lift up your feathers to the sight of cracked shells. As you move for Sevika to get a better view, your eyes light up.
âTwo of the eggs hatched successfully. Two baby harpies are born, naked wings and small yet sharp talons. Their skin is light brown, and they have small tufts of hair and feathers covering spots on their heads.
âYou hold one baby girl to your breast, helping her latch on, your daughter hungrily feeding. Meanwhile, Sevika holds your other daughter in her arms, looking in adoration at her two daughters.
"They're beautiful."

SMOKE & FOG
0.1 Red Smoke
pairing: jinx x reader (romantic) , isha x reader (siblings)
synopsis:Â Your entire life has been dictated by a debt you owe to Smeech, one that grows with every move you make. He holds your sister and you on a tight leash, one mistake leads to your sister being taken and your only option is to fight or die.
word count:Â 2.7K
warnings: villainous activity, murder, oppression, mistreatment, blood & gore, hurt/comfort, drugs & drug use, canon violence, suggestive themes, angst, spoilers, cursing, fighting !!
Red smoke filled the air, perhaps it was the blood dribbling that mixed with the air around it, or it was the suffocating rage from every child who watched as their parents, cousins, siblings and friends were torn to shreds by the flying bullets. There was no one who could save the poor souls on that bridge, there was barely anyone left alive except for Vander, his grunts of pain and adrenaline could be heard through the bridge, screams and cries of pain and terror came from those he faced off against and yet after a moment, it just stopped. There was nothing. Just silence. My body was hunched under a rock, shielding my little sisterâs extremely frail body in my arms, she was a baby, still wrapped up in a little blanket that we could barely afford, her cries came from every loud noise and all I could do was attempt to shush herâ fear and adrenaline being the only reminder of why I was still under here with her. However whenever the loud noises stopped and shooting gave out, what replaced it were footsteps. The relief that coursed through my body was unimaginable. Finally, it was over, win or lose. I didn't care, I just wanted to escape back home with Isha and our parents.Â
There was a silence that raged over the bridge as I climbed out, bodies piling on top of others, eyes wide open with dread still stricken upon their face, they all looked scared as if they werenât ready for death and yet here their lifeless bodies laid. It was sickening, a soft cry escaped my lips as tears welled up in my eyes, where were our parents? Where did they go? They were on this bridge just like everyone else so where were they? I couldnât run, as much urgency was in my body, I couldnât move my legs fast enough to form a sprint, I just walked. Shielding the little girl in my arms from all the pain and terror, I wouldnât let her see this, I wouldnt let her remember this, I wouldnât let her grow up in a time like thisâ it was all gonna change, it was gonna be different whenever she was growing up. Those thoughts in my head were the only thing that kept my head up high as I walked past the bodies. The bodies of friends and our parents, the bodies of those who fought so hard for something that should be a human right, whether they were from Zaun or from Piltover. The bodies of those who fought for Respect.Â
The rain is riotous, beating down on the small covers and hoods of those walking the streets of the undercity, no man or woman laid safe. One foot in front of the other, donât look around. My gaze held towards the floor, looking around would only drag me into the reality I live in. Children on the streets without parents, working for scammers and con artists, insufferable and disgusting but we had to make money somehow. Not everyone was gifted with a silver spoon in their mouth and a warm bed to sleep in, not everyone was given private dance lessons and piping hot food that could feed an entire village for just one meal. Not everyone was born in Piltover and the price? Your life. There was no respect in the city of Zaun, at least not anymore, Vander was killed by Silco in some raging fight that took place in a warehouse and he was the peopleâs last standing symbol of peace. After Silco took over, shimmer raged through the streets and took over like a disease, even after his death it still runs rampant thanks to his goons. I am one of those goons, I am someone keeping it on the street, money is money and a job is a job, it hurts so many people but I do what I have to do to keep my family safe.Â
A small groan of annoyance escaped my mouth. I was only 17 years old but I had the weight of another human laid atop my shoulders. She could be no older than 7 but definitely not younger than 5 years of age, Isha, my sister. I donât really know when her birthday is, not like we could celebrate it anyways, there are no birth certificates or calendar here, so we just assumed that it's sometime during the end of the year because that's whenever our parents would say happy birthday. 11/16, that is the birthday I have written down for her, the only one we care to acknowledge. My mind filled with grief as I entered the booming building, music blaring from the speakers and the cacophony of deals being made by every wall in his building was overwhelming and sickening. I turned my nose up in disgust (not like I was any better than them), as I turned towards the office building, a high rise, with glass windows to watch over the place as if he was some ghost. Smeech, one of the worst men I have ever met in my entire life, he had no good qualities, I would have rather he not offered me this job at all then let me watch as people waste their lives trying to get even a sniff of shimmer. Good and bad news was that the selling rate was down, more people were getting snatched off the streets while trying to find buyers and the production rate was too high to keep up with the missing sellers so whoever was left had to pick up the pace.Â
Caitlyn Kirammanâs enforcers were running circles around us, she made us look like chickens with our heads up off, which wouldnât have mattered to me if it wasnât for the fact that I couldnât keep up. I had too many boxes on me at a time and too many lurkers and followers while trying to do my job, if he kept pushing me like this then Iâd certainly get caught. With a heavy knock on his door, I pushed it open without waiting for confirmationâ this was important. The rat creature moaned in annoyance upon even seeing my face.
âWhat do you want, child?â The sickening smoke of shimmer made its way out of his mouth while he smoked, filling the room with its pungent smell. Had it not been such an addictive drug I would have been turned away but something kept my feet from moving, a small inhale was all I took before turning my head away from his nonsense. âLess materials on my person. Iâm carrying way too much cargo with not enough people to give it to. All my regulars are in hiding because of the enforcers or have already been grabbed! I have no one to sell to and walking around with even a drop of shimmer will get people arrested nowadays. What do you think theyâll do to me with eight vials full of it?â Despite the urgency in my voice, I didnât raise my volume or lose my cool, I knew better than that, I knew my place, I wasnât gonna be killed over such a trivial thing. I couldnât be killed, I had to make it back home to raise Isha and make sure that she wasnât alone, if I didnât do it then no one would. âYouâre a smart enough kid, you can figure it out. You sell the product, you get the money and you give it back to me. Youâre already behind on repaying this debt of yours, donât make me charge you an annoyance fee.â My debt.
I owed him my life because he was willing to take me in and promised that as soon as I paid him off he would let me and Isha go however every time I got even remotely close to freeing us, he would charge me some random out of the blue fee and added it to my tab making it once again out of reach. I knew it was on purpose, I knew he was never truly going to let us go but there was a small hope in that mind that maybe one day I could make enough money so that he doesnât expect it, so that he has to let us go. A whine escaped my throat as I tried to reason with him, as I pleaded. âBut sir-â âMake it a stupidity fee, how are you this incompetent? Itâs just business sweetheart, and youâre behind on your dues anyways, there isnât much room for you to be arguing with me. Out.â
I didnât say a word after that, I couldnât, I took whatever strength I had that would carry me out of the room and pushed until it led me out of the building.Â
Two hours later and Iâve only sold two vials, one to an elderly woman who looked like she was well on her way to deathâs door, I tried to convince her that it wasnât actually worth it to buy but she didnât listen, something about being glad that she didnât have to spend another moment down here was freeing to her and the second vial to someone from Silcoâs old crew. They could buy plenty more but they chose not to directly interact with Smeech himself so they went through his buyers and even though we arenât supposed to sell it to them, I did anyway. I tossed the gold coins up into the air with a smile, I completely overcharged him but who cares? âWhen did we say selling to Silcoâs crew was back on the table, blighter?â Debt collectors, they roamed the streets while we were making deals, my head wasnât in the right place, I completely forgot. Stuffing the coins into the small bag across my waist, I shrugged. âWhatâs it to you? Weâre all charlatans, are we going to bypass the fact that you guys are charging children for crimes they didnât commit to keep them in your debt? Or the old people you trick into owing their entire lives to you knowing that they wonât be able to afford it?â
My teeth clicked in arrogance, I held nothing over them but calling them out felt good to roll off the tongue, they needed to be checked every now and then too. âYouâre just blood thirsty animals.â They scoffed at me, scoffed, my presence to them was insignificant, that I was aware of but seeing it play out in front of me still stabbed at my heart a little bit. âYou forget yourself blighter. Perhaps we should.. remind you? Yeah?â The confirmation wasnât for me and yet I couldnât stop my head from shaking. This was going to end in bloodshed, there was no avoiding it but I wasnât scared, I couldn't be scared of them. One thing went through my mind, I have to get home to Isha. My hands raised to cover my face, eyes peeking out behind my clenched fists to stare them down, I was ready for a fight.
I shouldnât have been so naive to think that I could fight all three of them at once, however it was the only option. The taller gentleman rushed towards me first, swinging his arms in whatever way they would move towards my body. I looked like a child compared to them, they were unnaturally tall and buff and their suits didnât hide it at all. My body dipped towards the floor as his hands rammed into the wall, I swore I could feel the ground shake, but that didnât waver my spirit. I struck his chest with every force in my body, it wasnât a lot but enough to knock him back up against that very same corner, not even a second to breath as I was bombarded with another man racing towards me, his palm struck my side, launching me into the wall. It cracked upon impact and my body felt like it shattered, every limb hurt to move, with a split second I moved to the right, his second punch landing into the wall right next to me. My eyes expanded and my pupils dilated and I pulled away from the wall and steadied my body and stance once again, but arms wrapped around me, a crushing weight that stayed on top of me and kept me in place. A scream erupted from my throat as I tried to escape, struggling in every direction as the weight on top of me only got worse, it got tighter, more restricting until crack. The vials. The shimmer, it was still in my bag, how many vials did he crush? Was it seeping into my skin? My mind went blank, the weight was no longer crushing me but I didnât know what was happening? My face connected with the floor, was I dropped or did I hurt him? I didnât mean to hurt them, even though they probably could have killed me. The intention wasnât to get anyone hurt besides a simple warning.Â
When my eyes opened again all of them were on the floor, blood spilled out of wounds I didnât remember making and my hands were covered in it. I tried wiping my face but it only smeared the blood already there, what have I done? Before I could make sense of anything the screeching from an enforcer came from the other side of the alleyway. I shook my head, this wasnât me, I didnât do this! I was innocent! Why wouldnât my mouth open to explain? I opened up the pouch and raised one of the vials, I still had four safe but two of them were cracked, those were probably the two affecting my mind, my heart, my body. I could hear my heart in my ears, the thumping and beating as if I was inhuman, was I still human at this point? As soon as I raised the vial of shimmer, their guns were out? Panic was sewn into my nerves, I couldnât get shot, were they gonna kill me? Leave my body for dead? Would I ever be found? Isha. My mind went blank and my eyes were bloodshot, I couldnât think straight, I couldnât see straight, I blacked out.Â
When I woke all I could feel was crimson dripping down my hand, the puddle beneath me only growing wider, spreading through the cracks in the small alleyway. Enforcers. Dead. Three Enforcers were dead and three debt collectors right next to them. The topsiders would hear news of this soon and my boss would hear about his debt collectors being missing but I couldnât worry about it, what was the last thing I was thinking about? Isha? Isha. Where was she? Where is my sister? I couldnât care less about the head I bashed into the wall just a moment ago or the knife I plunged into another manâs throat or the Enforcerâs gun that I lodged into a manâs side as a distraction before his untimely death. Smeechâs debt collectors would probably be after her especially if they were after me, they knew where I was so they certainly had to know where she was.Â
I needed to get back to my sister. My sister. My sister, Isha, I need to get back to her. Ichor running down my arm no longer bothered me, the ever growing pain in my abdomen only lingered as I ran and yet I didnât stop. I couldnât even remember how I got that injury but I couldnât stop, my legs carried me to the last place I saw her. Three more dead debt collectors (this seemed to be a brand), shot straight through the head. Clean. Not a single mistake, completely intentional, whoever made the shot knew exactly what they were doing. A waft of pink smoke wavered from the body, it was fre- pink? shit. Jinx. There was only one person in town creating such imagery and also being such a great shot, no enforcers were in town (not anymore) and to be honest none of them were this great of a shot even if it was close range. The wanted posters of her face made her look psychotic, terrifying, right on brand to what the topsiders thought everyone looked like. I couldnât let this go, I was still alive and the dead men meant that my sister was still out there too.Â
A/N: I hope everyone enjoyed the very first chapter!

G!P Jinx x Fem!Reader
In this part I am gonna add two requests I got. First is morning wood with G!P Jinx and second request is Vi meeting her niece.
Mentions of smut, fluff, G!P

You woke up the next morning in the arms of your lover, still sleepy as you nuzzled closer into her chest. Last night was amazing and you still couldnât believe how lucky you were. Jinx probably thinking the same as her arms tightened around you, pulling you closer into her embrace. âGood morning my love.â You heard her mumble as she nuzzled into your hair, loving her sleepy voice. It really was attractive.
âGood Morning Jinx.â You said but still you didnât make a move to get up, you even got more closer, feeling her bulge press against you which made you chuckle. âI guess your friend down there says good morning too huh?â You teased, making her grumble in a sleepy way as she turned on her back. âYeahâŚthatâs called morning wood if you didnât know that by now.â Jinx said and you chuckled even more. Of course you knew what it was and that it was normal. âIt will go away donât worry.â She added, still having her eyes closed but you couldnât help but feel turned on by the view of it poking against the bed sheets. You were still naked since last night after you both just fell asleep after you shared some intimacy with each other.
You couldnât help but reach down for her cock, grabbing it and moving your hand gently up and down, stroking her cock. âMhhnâŚwhat are you doing?â She asked, still sleepy, not sure how to react yet. Of course she loved your touch but she wasnât prepared to wake up like that. âI am helping you getting rid of it. What else?â You giggled, removing the bed sheets to have a better look and you loved it so much.
The little sleepy moans and messy hair, it just had a special effect on you, feeling your crotch tingle. âUghhâŚbabyâŚâ She whined and all you could do was smirk, biting down on your lower lip before adjusting yourself on top of her. âItâs okay, just relax my love.â You whispered close to her ear, making shivers go down her spine, both of you moaning as you let her slip in. There was nothing better than starting the day with slow, sleepy morning sex, moving your hips as you rode her. Your lips found hers, kissing each other deeply, Jinxâs hands grabbing your hips, helping you with your movements.
It didnât take long for both of you to reach your orgasm since you were very sensitive this morning, you felt your whole body shiver as her warm cum filled you up, clenching around her cock. Soft moaning escaping your lips in between soft kisses. âI love youâŚâ You mumbled against her lips, making Jinx smile into the kiss. âI love you too.â
// later that day //
âWhy are you dragging me to your hideout? Is that another kind of your pranks? I really donât have time for that shit I hope you know that?â Vi groaned as she followed Jinx, still not trusting her fully after everything that happened in the past, knowing her sister loved to make âexplosiveâ jokes. Little did Vi know, this time she had a beautiful surprise for her.
âI told you before you will see what I have to show you I wonât tell you.â Jinx said as she ignored Vi and kept on walking happily, they both being interrupted by Isha greeting Vi with a little hug as she rushed to her, hugging her leg.
âOh hey Isha.â Vi greeted the little one with a smile. Their relationship got better by time. Isha slowly learned by time that she should not be scared of Vi and since you and Jinx adopted her, Vi became like a aunt figure to the girl. That Vi actually had a non adopted niece, was the surprise Jinx wanted to show her. The pink haired woman noticed that Isha was excited but she let Jinx show her the little surprise and kept herself quiet in the background.
You were sitting in the couch in Jinxâs hideout, having your baby in your arms which was peacefully asleep, snapping your head up when you heard their voices, chuckling to yourself as you heard them argue again. âSome things never changeâŚâ You mumble to yourself. The second Vi saw you, she froze in place, her gaze immediately fixed on the little, fragile thing in your arms. âIs thatâŚyours?â She spoke softly and Jinx gave her the widest smile possible, nodding proudly. âYep! I made that with my girlfriend. Thatâs your niece!â She cheered happily, being her usual quirky self, the total opposite of Vi.
âYou can come closer, I am sure we donât bite.â You mentioned as you smiled happily, Vi approaching you slowly until she stood right in front of you. âWoah I-âŚI didnât knowâŚhow did you both do that? I mean-âŚdidnât you need help?â Vi clearly felt bad for not being there for Jinx and you during all of that, first the pregnancy then birth. She felt guilty for being busy all the time up in Piltover with Caitlyn and not noticing what was going in down here in Zaun.
âOh come on sis! Itâs okay we know you were busy and had a lot of things to do up there. Me and my girlfriend made it without help. I mean-âŚokay Singed helped with the birth part but yea.â The blue haired woman said before pushing Vi closer to you and made her sit on the couch next to you. âJinx is right. There is nothing to feel guilty about. We both know about your responsibilities up there and that you want to be there for Caitlyn. Jinx would do the same for me.â You mentioned with a soft smile, there was no hate in this moment, only peace.
âSo? You wanna hold little Powder?â You asked, Vi glancing up at you before looking at the baby again. âP-Powder?â She asked with a little shaky voice, Jinx immediately nodding. âYea! We decided to name her Powder. So we finally connect the name with something beautifulâŚespecially me.â Jinxâs voice got lower mid sentence, clearly feeling emotional about that.
âI meanâŚsure I want to hold her. If I am allowed toâŚâ Vi felt emotional as well, she didnât expect this at all, to see her little niece, to even have a niece. Of course she had Isha which was like a niece to her already but this was something else. It was her sisters real own child.
You shifted a little bit closer before carefully handing Vi the baby and the moment she held Powder, the always tough looking woman shed tears of happiness. âHello my beautiful little nieceâŚâ She whispered, admiring her like she never saw something so beautiful before. Jinx sat down next to you with Isha crawling up into her lap. The picture all of you created was beautiful, the whole family was there now.
You felt your girlfriends arm wrap around your waist, all of your eyes focused on the baby as you smiled like crazy.
âYou better take good care of your little sis Isha.â Vi said with a chuckle, her heart breaking at some point when she remembered what she did to Jinx when they were younger. âAlways stay with your sis and never let her down.â She mentioned, more tears running down her cheeks. âAnd you little PowâŚthank you for being here. For making this family whole. I promise I will be a good auntie for you and Caitlyn too.â She continued, making your eyes water as well.
âViâŚitâs okay please donât feel guilty anymore for what once had been.â Jinx broke her silence as she stood up, Isha already gone into her playing corner, drawing something on a piece of paper. âWe all do mistakes in our life, purposely or not. Things like that happen, I learned that we can all be better. Thanks to my girlfriend, I learned that I can be good as well and not only causing chaos.â Jinx looked at you for a second as she mentioned you before walking towards her sister, wrapping her arms around Viâs neck to hug her, you watching the scene with a happy smile, wiping your happy tears away.
âWe can still be a happy little family can we?â You mentioned, Vi and Jinx nodding in response.
Your emotional little moment got interrupted by Isha rushing towards you again, showing her drawing of Vi, Jinx, Powder, you and herself on it and a lot of hearts on it, making all of you chuckle and appreciating the little girls work.
No matter if Piltover or Zaun. The conflicts between those two nations have come to an end after everything that happened in the past. Sometimes you and Jinx visited Vi and Caitlyn up in Piltover and sometimes they visited you in Zaun. And the most beautiful part for you was seeing how Jinxâs personality had changed. Of course she had her moments but most of the time she was calmer when she was around you or the kids. You noticed she discovered happiness for the first time in so long and finally arrived where she always wanted to be. In a life where she didnât have to suffer.
âŚ
(Little fluff bonus)
Little footsteps echoed through the room, you and Jinx being all cuddled up in bed, barely noticing what was about come next. Isha and Powder crawled up into your bed and each of them hugged you both, making you wake up with a little soft groan, followed by chuckles.
âAh there they are, little shark attack huh?â Jinx mumbled with a little laugh, opening her eyes to see how both of your little ones had joined you. Powder could already crawl and with Ishaâs help it wasnât hard for her to get up here in bed as well.
âUgh yea this will continue for a long while I guess.â You chuckle as well, especially when you opened your eyes to look at sleepy Jinx having Powders little hands squishing her cheeks, you couldnât hold your laughter back at the cute and funny sight.
âWhatâs so funny?â Jinx said, sticking her tongue out at you. âNothing. I think she likes squishing you though.â You replied with a laugh before Isha did the same to you which made both of you laugh in the end.
Both of you suddenly froze in place as Powder fumbled with Jinxâs open long hair and tried to say something. Everything went silent and you finally heard it. She said mama, she literally called Jinx mama and you couldnât help but cry in happiness. âYes Pow I am your mama.â Jinx smiled widely, hugging the little one and placing kisses on her cheek. âAnd I love you so so much.â She continued, you having Isha cuddled up into your side, she fell asleep again since it was early in the morning. You sniffed softly, watching the cute scene before you. âThatâs her first wordâŚI am so happy. Yes we are your mamas.â You mentioned.
Both of you were so happy, no one of you could describe it into words.

My Dearest Sevika...
Authors note: thank you so much for the reactions to this lil story. I honestly don't really write much. Mostly because I'm a bit of an in the mood type of writer but this particular story stayed in my brain for a few days and decided to share. Hope you like this next entry. You didn't think I would keep her away did you?
(two Years later)
You hum as you walk towards your car. Buck next to you taking in all the sights of the plaza. It had been a bit of a drive out to the only plaza that was pet friendly.
You had needed the distraction, plus you knew that buck would enjoy the trip.
It was getting close to your wedding anniversary with Sevika. It had been two years without her but you had kept up with your journal. At first you mostly wrote small entries. Lil things you thought that Sevika would like to know about or even should know about.
As time passed the entries became longer and more detailed. It helped to be able to pour your emotions and thought into the journals. it made you feel close to Sevika in a way.
After two years you had filled many journals. At first you thought that you would just finish the journal that you had after Isha encouraged you to write to Sevika again. But by the end of that first journal you found yourself with no more blank pages and your mind full of things to write about. so you bought a new one then another and another. and its how you find yourself on this lil trip with buck with just the goal to buy a new journal.
searching through your purse for your car keys when you hear your phone go off. Grabbing it you see a few missed called from Ran. you pick up the call
"Hey-"
"Where are you !?"
"I- Yes hello Ran how are you?"
"Yeah, hi, hello, good, Where are you?"
"Umm Piltover plaza why?"
"I'm picking you up."
"What? Why?"
" THEY FOUND HER."
Your breath hitches " What...?"
"They found her y/n, she's alive!"
Your mind goes blank. turning away from your car you look around in a daze. Sound ceases to exist except for your pulse like a couple of years ago when you got world changing news. You drop your phone Ran's voice fading.
Alive. How? where has she been these past couple of years? is she hurt? and how bad?
Your knees start to buckle and you drop to the ground leaning against your car. Buck is immediately at your side sniffing to check what's wrong with you. He nudges you with his nose and it makes you look over to him. Tears start falling down your cheeks as you look at him. Slowly sound comes back to you and now you can hear the whines coming from him as he tries to lick away the moisture on your face. You nudge him back a lil bit to make him stop and he ends up staring at you as if waiting for something. Reassurance that you are ok.
That is how you, while looking into his deep brown eyes, come to terms with two words that simultaneously make you happy, hopeful and scared.
"she's alive" you whisper

Jinx x fem reader first kiss leads to make out pleasee
Coming clean (Jinx x reader)
Warnings: suggestive.
Genre: slight hurt/comfort, suggestive
Word count: 1.1k
Reader has no set pronouns!
You and Jinx had been yearning for each other for a while now, it was evident to anyone who saw you two interact.Â
Youâd met in Zaun, when you were trying to catch up with a little girl that was being chased by some men. You lost track of the girl for a bit, and when you finally found her you saw her with someone else, both sat on the ground.Â
You knew who she was -everyone did- but youâd never actually seen her before, and you honestly didnât think you ever would. But there you were, and there she was. Jinx; right in front of you. She was prettier than youâd imagined, beautiful even, despite her tired and sad eyes.
âShe a friend of yours?â You heard her. You made eye contact with the kid and she smiled at you.
âActually, no,â you began saying. âI just saw her being chased and wanted to help her.â
You noticed that the little girl kept looking back and forth between the posters hanging on the wall and the blue-haired girl in front of her.
âYep, thatâs me. You ever need to curse a sibling or a family or a society⌠my card.â After that, she left, leaving you and the young thing alone, who insisted you on following Jinx.
And with that, your life changed forever. Youâd found a family of your own, they were a light amongst all the darkness that invaded the world.
From the very beginning you were attracted to Jinx, how couldnât you, really? With every passing day, it seemed like she was being brought back to life, and soon that anguished girl you first met was pretty much gone. Your relationship became stronger in time, and in you she found someone she could rely on; so she started opening up, letting you in when things troubled her and she needed a clear mind.
It wasnât long until she fell for you, pretty evident to anyone, especially Sevika. She never said a thing, but would always give suggestive looks to both of you, which you disregarded and interpreted as her just messing around.Â
However, when you laid alone at night, you couldnât help but let your mind wander, and it always ended up fixed on someone, a certain girl who always wore her hair in two long braids. At first, you tried to ignore those feelings growing inside of you, but it was beginning to be more difficult every day, especially when all you wanted to do was kiss her every time you saw her.
Sheâd noticed you were acting strange all of a sudden. Youâd get jumpy when she was around or youâd trip over your words whenever you spoke to her. Had she done something wrong? Were you offended by something? Soon, doubts filled her head. Instead of letting them cloud her judgement, she decided to vocalize what was worrying her. She just wanted things to be good between you two.
It was a quiet day; Isha had gone outside to wander around, and Jinx found you in her hideout. She knew it was now or never, she needed answers and most importantly, she needed you close to her.
âHey, there you are. Iâve been meaning to speak with you.â Your heart sank just a little bit, already beginning to feel anxious about what she could possibly say. âAre weâŚokay?âÂ
Her question caught you by surprise, not imagining that those words would be the ones to come out of her mouth. Youâd assumed the worst, her kicking you out for acting weird around her, for having feelings for her and not knowing how to handle them. âI- Of course, why wouldnât we be?â
âYouâve been acting strange,â she responded. âDid I do something to upset you?â She asked in a sad tone, and you couldnât help but look at her, and realised that tears were forming in her eyes. You quickly ran to her and cupped her face in your hands.
âNo, no, you didnât do anything wrong,â you reassured her.
âYouâve been so distant lately, keeping me at arm's length and I just have no idea why,â she adverted your gaze, ashamed even of the tears that were now running down her cheeks. âI just- I don't want us to change, tell me what I can do to fix things.â
âItâs not you, Jinx, I swear.â You closed your eyes, taking a deep breath before finally voicing what was troubling you. âI like you, as more than just a friend and I really tried to make those feelings go away so things wouldnât be awkward between us, and in doing that things did end up being awkward. I didnât know what to do because I donât want you to feel weird around me and-.â
You were cut off by her lips against yours, catching you by surprise. She quickly pulled apart to get some air and looked at you with a playful look. âYou talk too much.â And with that, her lips were back on yours, and her hands were on your body, as yours were on hers.
The kiss was desperate and passionate. Your hands were on her waist and hers were on your neck, pulling you so close to her that you could practically merge together. She was taller than you, not by much, but right now she seemed to tower over you and you could practically hear your heart beating in your chest.
Things escalated quickly, she pushed you to her desk and you sat down on top of it, with the girl standing between your legs. Soon her lips were on your jaw, going down your neck and back again to your mouth; her hands exploring your legs, your chest, your back, everywhere. She rested her hands on your thighs, squeezing them at times, paying attention to your neck once more. You couldnât help but let out a little moan at her actions, pulling her closer.
Adrenaline and excitement were taking over you, feeling your body on fire every time she touched you and wanting nothing more than to stay like this forever. But soon, you were interrupted.Â
You practically jumped when you heard Sevika come in, not giving you any time to even think about pretending to do something else. She looked at the state of the two of you, cheeks flushed, parted lips, and messy clothes. She smirked before speaking, âJust came here to look for something but I guess Iâll just come back later.â
You and Jinx looked at each other and smiled nervously, looking at the woman just a few meters away from you. âIâll leave you both to it,â she said before walking away, leaving you both alone once again.
âI guess it goes without saying that I like you too,â Jinx said.
i really liked this request, i love writing for jinx âşď¸
You simply smiled and pulled her close once again.
thank u anon for the request, hope you liked it!

Ok, I need to get this off my chest, because it really annoys me when people blame Vi for having sex with Caitlyn because they think she should have known that Jinx was suicidal and gone after her. And it also annoys me when people say that she is "stupid" if she didn't realize that Jinx was suicidal. Because no. She is not stupid for not realizing it.
People severely overestimate the amount of time that Vi spent with Jinx after she got out of prison. She reunited with her sister in that tower and spent less than five minutes talking to her before the Firelights attacked. Then, she meets Jinx on the bridge and they don't talk, Jinx only shoots at her. Then Jinx kidnaps Vi, and when Vi wakes up, they spend around 10 minutes talking before Jinx kills Silco and blows up the council, and Jinx is gone again. The next time Vi sees Jinx, it's in Janna's temple and they only exchange a few words before they start fighting. Before Act 2 of Season 2, Vi didn't even have half an hour to talk to her sister and get to know her again. She didn't get the chance to know her sister beyond the simple fact that her sister has changed into a terrorist that needs to be stopped, but she couldn't possibly know all the details of Jinx's mental issues from such a short time she actually had to spend with her sister. The longest time Vi actually got to spend with Jinx after being released from jail was when they went to get Vander and spent a few days in Viktor's commune. And during that period, Jinx was in a much happier and healthier mindset, so it would not have been obvious to Vi that she had been suicidal.
I've seen people give some arguments that Vi should have known because of a few reasons, but I really disagree with all of them. The reasons I see people give as for why they think Vi should have known are: 1) Jinx blowing up herself and Ekko; 2) Jinx telling Vi in the tea party "you're the reason I'm still alive"; 3) Jinx telling Vi to kill her by saying "Go on. I'm ready. I'm glad it's you. Had to be you"; 4) Jinx's grief after Isha's death; 5) Jinx saying that she will break the cycle. And I don't agree any of these are enough for Vi to know for sure Jinx is suicidal:
1) Jinx blowing up herself and Ekko - Vi didn't see what happened in that bridge. She was carrying Caitlyn and only turned around to look back after she heard the explosion. She didn't see that Jinx deliberately tried to kill both herself and Ekko; she only saw an explosion, but that explosion could have happened for any number of reasons during the fight. Jinx could have tried to kill Ekko and got caught up in the explosion by accident. Basically, Vi didn't know what happened.
2) Jinx telling Vi in the tea party "you're the reason I'm still alive" - this line doesn't have to be interpreted as someone being suicidal. Vi says pretty much the same thing to Jinx ("I spent so many nights in that shitty prison [...]. The only thing that kept me going was the thought of getting back to you"), but that doesn't mean Vi was suicidal, only that Powder was the reason she kept going, kept hope. Vi probably interpreted what Jinx said the same way: she was the reason Jinx kept going, but that doesn't automatically mean Jinx was suicidal.
3) Jinx telling Vi to kill her by saying "Go on. I'm ready. I'm glad it's you. Had to be you" - Again, Jinx being suicidal isn't the only possible interpretation that Vi could have of this line. Jinx says this after Vi has her defeated and pinned down, so she could very well just be saying this as a way to accept death with dignity, not because she is suicidal.
4) Jinx's grief after Isha's death - a person can grieve and be sad without being suicidal. You don't jump to the conclusion that someone is suicidal just because they're sad.
5) Jinx saying that she will break the cycle - how exactly is Vi supposed to know what is this cycle that Jinx is talking about? Sure, we as the audience saw her conversation with her Silco hallucination, but Vi didn't. And even if Vi knew that Jinx was talking about the cycle of killing, breaking the cycle doesn't mean "killing yourself", it could simply mean walking away and leaving. Hell, when I watched the scene, I actually didn't think Jinx was going to try suicide, considering that right before that she had said to ghost!Silco that "killing isn't mercy", so I actually thought that she wouldn't think that killing herself would break any cycle. So if it wasn't completely clear that Jinx was going to kill herself even to me, who was privy to the whole conversation in Jinx's head, then I hardly blame Vi for not knowing.
I know some people might still argue that Vi should have remembered what Jinx said in (2) and (3) and pieced things together, as well as Jinx saying the line "doesn't matter what I do, I just can't seem to die" (this one does seem more concerning). However, not only they are not conclusive evidence that Jinx is suicidal, Vi probably doesn't even remember that Jinx said those things. Both were extremely stressful situations for Vi. During the tea party, she was focused on trying to apologize and get through to her sister, then she was panicked that Jinx might kill Caitlyn or that Caitlyn might kill Jinx. With all the stress Vi was under, I very much doubt that months later, Vi remembers the specific line Jinx said that might maybe suggest that she was suicidal. The same goes for what Jinx said in Janna's temple. Again, it was a highly stressful situation for Vi, and again it's highly likely she doesn't remember every detail of what her sister said after so many months.
So to sum things up: Vi had around half an hour of actually speaking with her sister between the time she gets out of prison and the time they fight in Janna's temple. She didn't have time to actually get to know her sister and her mental problems beyond the surface level, and yes, while it can be argued that Jinx said some concerning things that might indicate that she was suicidal, many of them can be interpreted in different ways, and Vi might not even remember exactly what her sister said after months have passed. The next time Vi does manage to spend more than 30 minutes with her sister while looking for Vander and in Viktor's commune, Jinx is in a much happier and healthier mindset, so again, it would be difficult for Vi to see that she was suicidal before. So no, Vi is not "stupid" or "bad at understanding mental health" for not knowing that Jinx was suicidal, she simply never got the opportunity to actually get to know her sister again.
And as we see in the sex scene, it's clear Vi didn't know. She tells Caitlyn "I was an idiot to trust her", which suggests that she believes Jinx simply betrayed her, that she was wrong to believe that Jinx had changed for the better, and Jinx is yet again probably going to do something violent. She clearly didn't realize her sister was suicidal.
And I wish people had a little more empathy for Vi in this scene. Think about this from Vi's perspective: she spends 7 years of her life in prison, being beaten up, with the only hope of reuniting with her sister. Then, when she gets out of prison, that very sister that was her hope is working for and killing people for the man that killed her family and is ruining Zaun; and then her sister also tries to kill her, kidnaps her, emotionally tortures her with the idea that she might have decapitated her girlfriend, and then asks her to kill her girlfriend. Jinx hurt Vi a lot. Vi has many feelings of betrayal and resentment towards Jinx that many people in the fandom don't really recognize. But because Vi is Vi, she is very loving and forgiving towards the people she loves, and as soon as she sees Jinx showing empathy towards Isha, she is eager to believe that Jinx has changed and wants to forgive her sister. Only for her sister to punch her, lock her in a cell and disappear when Vi tries to help. Think about how betrayed Vi must have felt here. Jinx hurt her so much, and when she gives Jinx yet another chance, Jinx betrays her again.
Yes, Vi is wrong here: Jinx didn't really betray her, Jinx did change for the better and is actually thinking about Vi's happiness when she locks Vi in that cell. But from Vi's perspective, this is yet another time where she tries to reach out to Jinx and gets burned in return. So of course Vi is feeling hurt and betrayed. Of course Vi is not immediately thinking about whether Jinx is suicidal or not, because right now, Vi is actually focusing more on her own feelings of hurt. And I wish the fandom would have some empathy towards Vi and allow her to have her own feelings, allow her to feel hurt because of Jinx's actions, instead of demanding that Vi should be paying attention to Jinx's feelings instead.
When Caitlyn arrived and told Vi that she allowed her to free Jinx, that Vi didn't lose her, that Caitlyn didn't blame Vi for what she did, think about the emotional relief and happiness Vi must have felt. In Vi's mind, she felt hurt and betrayed thinking that she lost not only her sister, but that she would lose Caitlyn as well for having chosen to help Jinx. So learning that she still has Caitlyn's love and support? No wonder she was so overwhelmed with joy. No wonder she needed to seize that moment of happiness for herself and let herself enjoy it. Because just like Vi had said before, that she was done blaming herself for her sister's mistakes, she is now also done chasing after her sister if her sister refuses her help. So she chooses to stay with the person who, despite also having hurt Vi in the past (though not to the extent Jinx has), is choosing to stay with Vi and support her. After everything Vi suffered, and after all that she has sacrificed for others, especially for her sister, she deserves to have a moment to focus on her own happiness without having people in this fandom pointing fingers at her for not martyrizing herself and going after her sister yet again.
#arcane#arcane meta#vi arcane#caitvi#caitlyn kiramman#vi#my meta#my post.#jinx#i'd argue that at this point in her life after spending so long in prison vi knows caitlyn better than she knows her sister#simply because she spent more time with caitlyn and didn't have the same opportunity to spend time with jinx

I do not want to make assumptions.....but since Season 2 Arc 1 of Arcane, I've had a sneaking suspicion that the Piltover vs Zaun plot isn't going to be tackled well- as in they are not going to actually address the class issues and the exploitation in a direct manner for long. Caitlyn's redemption arc and propping up Jinx as the saviour over Ekko was what made me even more suspicious.
By making it Jinx instead of Ekko who is clearly in the right, who is reasonable and from the Undercity, they make Caitlyn look more reasonable. The implication that Firelights are part of the division between Zaunites is adding insult to injury with Ekko's complete disappearance in Act 2.
I actually like Jinx's arc but she shouldn't be the leader of Zaun's revolution. It should be Ekko.
I have seen a lot of media dealing with systematic issues and exploitation. I don't remember a single story made by a large corporation which kept dealing with the problem start to finish and properly condemned the oppressors. A nice shortcut I've seen, is introducing an even bigger threat than the "warring factions" of Rich v Poor or Exploiter v Exploited.
This seemingly resolves the conflict because the bigger threat unites the two fronts and forces them to set aside their differences, but it doesn't actually solve the pre-existing problem in the slightest.
I was hoping Arcane wouldn't, but it is barreling towards the same mistake by making Viktor the big bad of the story (and Singed as side character big bad). By highlighting Singed as someone who is especially heinous, it is playing into affirming the biases Piltover's people have about the undercity. Caitlyn's justified in throwing this guy into an inhuman hellhole because he's especially evil. Forget about how it was under Caitlyn's rule that Isha got put in there, it was actually Ambessa's fault! Don't blame the Pilties they're being manipulated!
Caitlyn by Ambessa
Salo by Viktor
Viktor being a villain is fine because....because why? Why is Viktor the villain now? I appreciate a good villain arc and descent into villainy- Caitlyn's S2 Arc 1 story did it perfectly. But Viktor's makes no fucking sense. One conversation with Singed is going to make him horrible? The Arcane is specifically making Viktor worse? Viktor was the only character in season 1 who focused on bettering people's lives, he continues to do so in season 2 and he's rightfully upset.
Even Jinx's redemption arc hinges on Caitlyn seeing the human in her, it ends with Vi asking Caitlyn to trust Jinx. And actually this time around Warwick killed Isha so it's fine don't be mad at the enforcers who set up camp to invade a commune.
In-story, Viktor running a cult is bad, Caitlyn defying Ambessa is in fact good. But why make these decisions. Why make Caitlyn the Enforcer, the upper class, the good guy when she gassed the undercity? Why make Viktor, the scientist from Zaun who directly suffered from The Grey, who wanted to help people and has never intentionally hurt anyone up until Arc 2 the villain? Why are the writers making these decisions? This is a bit of a Doylist perspective on things but I need to examine things this way because end of the day, this is Riot Games, this League of Legends and a show made by Netflix. At every step is a monopoly and it influences the stories being told, the stories being kept.
I will reserve complete judgement until Arc 3, but I am not particularly optimistic.

Upon rewatching Arcane S2- Act 1, there are a few things I wanted to point out that could be up for discussion đĽSPOILERS AHEADđĽ
Episode 1
The theory about Mel wearing armor and thatâs why she wasnât hurt or dead
Caitlynâs dad tone when he asked why was Vi still there. As if she was to blame for the deaths of the counselors and I donât like how itâs emphasized about how Vi is âone of the good onesâ compared to the people of Zaun.
When Mel explained how it had to be someone from the inside who let the chembaron assassins in and thereâs a quick cut to Ambessa. Like we all knew she was a warlord who wanted to cover up her crimes, but the fact that she was actually pulling the strings was the kicker.
When Ekko was talking to Caitlyn about how enforcers would hunt people down like animals back in S1, and then Caitlyn was having that dark thought of hunting down Jinx like an animal before Jayce came to see herâŚâŚ
Episode 2
Now that Silco is dead, Zaun has rapidly gone worse to the point it got really dark when you see children getting kidnapped to go do labor or worse. As the henchmen who are trying to grab Isha have numbers on their forehead. I donât know if itâs easier for them to be identified but theyâve been offed by Jinx.
Smeech pokes fun of Sevika mywife for being a funny-looking rat because sheâs not the right-hand who kept things in order and doing dirty work. I honestly think Sevika is fine being that right-hand and getting in the field to fight for her people than to step in and take Silcoâs place like some people would expect. She knows how much work it is to be the boss and itâs frustrating when the current chembarons are fighting each other than the oppressor whoâs the real enemy and why the people of Zaun are surviving off horrible conditions.
This is actually one of the few times we see Sevika become more vulnerable as sheâs was struggling to fix her arm, clean up the mess that Silco left behind, and no plan on what to do next. We see how (valid) she is being hostile to Jinx before they get on a familiar footing about Silco, making them do his dirty work.
Ekko's character is very much alike to Miles Morales as this comparison has been on my mind for a while. They're almost the same person. Especially when it comes to wanting to protect their family and people while taking on hard decisions at a young age.
How was Sevika gonna defend against Smeech and his men if Jinx's gun wasn't kicked out of her hand? Since she followed Jinx and she was clear that she wouldn't sell her out.
I do like how Jinx added the gambling part to Sevika's arm from the little games she made when she was a kid. It's something that they connect to from the little games Jinx created and it being from Sevika's gambling. The new arm is unexpected, and she doesn't know the outcome, yet Sevika starts to grow into the gambling bit.
Episode 3
Salo pointed out that the Kiramman name bewitches people, and Ambessa is putting Caitlyn in power. It is not because she is qualified for the job, but she is easy to manipulate, just like the Kiramman name is easy to persuade other rich families and counselors to follow.
Despite Caitlyn being good with a gun, she wasn't in the right head space to even take the shot. She claimed she wasn't gonna miss, but Isha was trying to protect Jinx and clinging to her tighter, moving around. A small part of that scene, you can see her little head blocking Jinx, so I don't believe she had a clear shot.
The guy who looks similar to Vander left being an enforcer as I'm curious to know what he knows from experience. He knows this isn't gonna end well.
Idk what ya'll think so far?

Quiet Regret :Arcane Oneshot
*Imagining of what Sevika was up to in beginning of S2 A3*
Sevika sits quietly in a stitched and taped old armchair in the darkness of her private room, the only sound the soft swirling of the amber liquid in the thick, heavy glass in her hand.
Isha is gone⌠Vi almost died saving Jinx, and she still hasnât woken up⌠Jinx surrendered. She is in custodyâŚ
She had received word a week or so ago⌠she wasnât really sure anymore. She paid the messenger, tipped him with instructions to ensure he kept his mouth shutâit didnât matter if Jinx surrendered; if her âfansâ found out she was behind bars, they would be washing Trencher blood off that godforsaken bridgeâand sent him on his way. The information played in her head over and over in a loop. She stared straight ahead, swirling the glass slowly, not realizing she was squeezing until she heard that whisper of destruction before it cracked completely and white-hot pain lanced through her palm.
âFuck!â She threw the shards across the room, casting blood with them, and stomped angrily to the sink, her breath heavy and ragged with anger as she ran the wound under the dingy water creaking from the faucet. Her jaw clenched, and her eyes stung as memories, unbidden and unwelcome, forced their way into her mind.
âDonât ask me to take care of them, Vander. You know why I canât.â âI know... and Iâm so sorry that happened to your daughter. But these girls, and Mylo and Claggorâthey donât have anyone else. I donât know what else to do,â Vander sighs. âDo whatever you need to, boss⌠but Iâm a soldier. Not a mother. Not anymore. So if you want me to stick around, donât expect otherwise.â
She turned off the water, grabbing a thick strip of cloth and, using her teeth to assist, looped it around the cut and tied it off with a grimace. She walked back to the chair and sat down, heavy with exhaustion that had nothing to do with sleep, as another memory crept in.
Her lungs heaved, her muscles burned, her eyes stung with sweat. She grinned and threw a quick combo: jab-jab-front teep-cross! Her opponent crashed into the mat, groaning. She grinned. âBetter luck next time, Grimes,â and slipped easily out of the practice ring while those in attendance laughed and cheered. Vander raised a glass from behind the bar in salute, and she returned it with a grin. She walked over and plunked down in a chair in the corner, only to see a shock of pink hair staring at her from around the corner. âItâs rude to spy, Vi,â she said curtly. The little girl peered slowly around the corner and walked over, her eyes too intense for only ten years of age. She stood straight in front of Sevika. âWill you teach me that?â she asked. Sevika scoffed and looked away. âVander is already teaching you.â Vi tapped her knee firmly. âI know, but... I want you to teach me that,â she said insistently. Sevika turned and looked at Vi square in the face. âBeat it, kid! Youâre too weak for anything I got!â she scowled, expecting Vi to haul ass away from her. She turned her head for only a moment when a small but surprisingly strong hand punched her right in the chin, followed by a clumsy attempt at a follow-up, and Viâs high voice roared in childish outrage, âDonât call me weak!â Sevika grabbed Vi easily and held her out as the whole bar came to a stop. Vander started to come around, his face stern, but Sevika held up a hand, stopping him. She looked at the ferocious eyes, far too heavy with the weight of the world in the childâs face in front of her, and sighed. âFirst thing, kid,â she set Vi down, âyou gotta learn some patience.â
She would never forget the way Vi lit up with a smile that day. It was that same smile that haunted Sevikaâs nightmares on days when she remembered the sound of her blade sliding into Viâs body...
Jinx and Isha were, of course, more recent regrets. All around her small home was the evidence of their presence. Bits and bobs of various bombs and traps, all inert... she hoped. Ishaâs coloring pages were plastered onto the walls, doors, really anything the feral little gremlin could get her hands on.
She hadnât wanted to let them in that day. Jinx had come by and said they were going to get Vi out of the pit but wouldnât explain why, and that they should be back soon. Sevika had tried to come, but Jinx had strangely refused. She said they would all be back in a few days. But before they left, Isha had a gift. The young girl grunted and heaved, dragging a comically large sheet of dark metal up the steps and into the main room, levering it up and leaning it against the wall. Sevika walked forward and stopped. In bright, lively colors, rough silhouettes showed a day Sevika recalled all too well. Jinx and Isha huddled low with a large figure crouched low, covering them both as smoke enveloped them. In rough scrawl over the figure representing Sevika was one word: Guardian... Jinx had leaned in close, whispering, âI had to teach her to spell itâdonât be too impressed,â making Isha scowl as Jinx signed it to her as well with a wink. Sevika looked at the little girl, emotions warring in her, and went stiff as the little girl flew across the room, hugging her leg tight. Sevika barely strangled down a tear and allowed a small smile. âT-thanks, kid...â she leaned forward and patted the little girlâs back. Jinx laughed and grabbed Isha as they headed out the door. âCome on, any more emotion may kill Lefty. We better beat it.â As she stepped out, she turned back. âYou and Vi be nice to each other when I bring her back... sheâs been through enough...â she smiled sadly. Sevika nodded and watched as they vanished into the dark. Remembering a fierce and bright-eyed little girl and thinking... Maybe I can do better this time...
Now she sits alone, staring at Ishaâs gift in the shadows. Guardian...
Isha gone... Vi may not survive... Jinx surrendered and behind bars...
Tears of bitterness and loss finally slither past her iron defenses there in the dark. And in that quiet, she allows herself, for only the briefest moment, to remember looking down into beautiful deep brown eyes, the most beautiful thing sheâd ever seen, as she rocked her little girl for the first time...
She stood, angry at herself for allowing the memory to slip through, when out her window she saw the night sky erupt in an orange glow from the direction of The Last Drop. And although she couldnât be sure... she thought she saw a trail of green light streaking that way in the clouds..
"What. The Fuck. Is That?"

Personnal opinion on Arcane Season 2.
This is my opinion on what went wrong in Arcane and why, after three years of waiting, I am mostly disappointed by how it ended, despite a strong season 1.

Ambessa was introduced way too early in the show, back in season 1. We already had so many complex plots going on and adding this heavy subplot in addition to the rest made the scenario messy and more complicated to follow.
Now donât get me wrong, I loved all the lore around House Medarda and the development of Mel, but for me it deserved its own season or, quite simply, its own show. Focusing first on the conflict between Piltover/Zaun and â after itâs resolved â introducing Ambessa so we can switch to another huge plot while also introducing a new region, Noxus.
Making the show about how Hextech corrupts Viktor and Ambessa coveting this power was wrong, and it shouldâve been kept as a subplot instead of being the main topic of season 2. Personally, I Â am tired of âmagic things corrupt people, people coveting this power, two cities initially fighting each other uniting their forces to defeat this evilâ trope. It has been done a dozen times, and given how the first season was about Zaun being oppressed by Piltover, itâs not even bad writing or clichĂŠ, but wrong on so many levels.
Now what I think wouldâve made season 2 better is if the writers had focused on trying to find a solution to make Zaun and Piltover coexist, without any discrimination, as equals. We needed the writers to address Vi's traumas; allowing her to be vulnerable around the people she loves the most; having actual meaningful conversations with Caitlyn or Loris. It would've been great to have Vi deepen her relationship with Loris, to see how they became close after their first encounter, and how come he became so loyal to her toward the end. Caitlyn should've made herself accountable for her actions; making a public apology toward Zaunites people about how she used police brutality to achieve her goals while blinded by grief, hatred, and vengeance; also, making a more personal apology to Vi in private, talking about how she felt, being honest with her. We needed Cait and Vi to have an open-hearted conversation in addition to the sweet physical touch. Them being finally a couple is great, especially when it comes to representation, but alas it was to the detriment of both charactersâ development. Itâs as if writers forgot characters can exist outside of their relationship.
Vi not pursuing Jinx when she was clearly suicidal is such an out of character moment that made no sense to me. Same for the fact that Vi apparently doesn't care about Maddie being Caitlynâs side-chick. But as long as people have what they wanted the most (CaitVi sex scene), oh wellâŚÂ
Please spare us all from the nonsense that so and so was clearly hinted at by this or that. Or worse, the condescending âdo the writers need to spell out everything for you to understand?â. You canât excuse lazy writing by calling everyone else dumb. And look at Christianâs interviews â is this who youâre trying to defend?
Surprisingly, the writers did an amazing job at the start of season 2 with Jinx. She was way more interesting than she had been in season 1, and she is one of the best characters of season 2. Unfortunately, she was inconsistent throughout the whole season.
The writers shouldâve treated Jinx, Isha and Sevikaâs relationship better and developed it more. Isha sacrificed herself and this wasnât addressed at ALL during Act 3, which is crazy given how she had a huge impact on Jinx. It made her death unimpactful, practically useless, and it shouldn't have happened at all given how the situation has been handled. Tragedy can be really good, but you have to commit to it until the end or else itâs going to be ridiculous.
We also needed more of Vi and Jinxâs reconciliation; an actual dialogue on screen. Many important conflicts â such as Caitlyn and Viâs reconciliation and their joint plan to trick Ambessa, or the reunion between Vi, Jinx and Vander â have been settled outside of the screen, which is clearly proof of lazy writing and that the characters have been underwritten throughout the whole season.
Jinx shouldâve stayed a symbol of Zaunâs resistance against Piltoverâs oppression, and her relationship with her followers shouldâve been more developed as well. The story shouldâve addressed how Sevika went from trying to unite Zaun as much as she could, despite the mess following Silcoâs death, to people turning on her, even ignoring her, and only following and listening to Jinx.
(One minute of silence for this blue haired dark skinned diva that didnât deserve to die as an enforcer, you were destined to greater things than what happened to you).
Speaking of Sevika, the fact that she didnât utter a single word in Act 3, despite having a seat on the council, is absurd, especially considering the importance of her character. Having her seat on this council is even more insane given her history with Piltover. Teasing Act 3 on Twitter with a thirst trap poster of Sevika doesnât sit right with me either when this is what happened to her character during it.

Arcane Season 2 Poster for Act 3
The characters were deeply underwritten, with wasted potential for some, all for the sake of fanservice. There were too many complex subplots added to the main story, which was already heavy. It feels like the writers completely lost the plot and couldn't understand their own characters, itâs disappointing.

Arcane could have been a perfect 2 seasons.
But everything feels rushed this season because we have
- expansion on silco/vander/vis mother that isn't needed
- Mel and her link to the black rose which just conveniently takes her away from the conflict, enabling caitlyn to have no mediating voice (the one that would have slotted perfectly in to what Maddy was supposed to be)
- Maddy for no reason
- Random character introductions that serve no purpose but to waste screen time
- Skye??? Viktor did not care about Skye so why is she with him? He referred to her as "Miss Young" when she was alive.
- Isha is a character created just to die to further Jinxs character which imo didn't even need to be furthered, unhinged irredeemable Jinx is what the character deserved and it would do it justice, this is a tragedy after all.
- Warwick walking around in broad daylight just chillin when he had been teased as this foreboding terrifying creature that was hardly a man, triggered by any blood... but nope he hugs Vi and all of a sudden he's lovely and sweet and ??
- Vi had NO ROOM for development, I am so fucken angry at how shafted Vi has been, Warwick was a chance for Vi to develop, HE was her mentor, their relationship was so important to VI and then they pushed any importance of it for Vi onto Jinx.
- Caitlyn fist fighting? Why? Why do we need this, Caitlyn is the brain, the anti Jinx, she analytical and articulate. SHE PICKS UP WHAT VI LACKS Why build this physical strength? Why? The scene where her and Ambessa are fighting took me OUT like ?? What blue eye samurai garbage is this???
- mels brother introduced? ANOTHER CHARACTER WE DONT KNOW OR CARE ABOUT GIVEN THE PRECIOUS SCREEN TIME WE NEED TO WRAP THINGS UP.
- literally ekko and heimerdinger have loose ends and they aren't even AROUND!?
- Viktor was some Doctor Who type shit... like I couldn't believe what I was watching, I'm not even a big Viktor person but this was just ????
- Caitlyn captures Vi and Ambessa considers it a big deal but as far as we are all aware DID AMBESSA EVEN KNOW VI????
This is just such a mess and really wish people could take the rose coloured glasses off and really understand what they did here, I'm not saying don't enjoy it but we got CW level writing this arc, this was fanfiction and the minute Jayce Talis showed up and fucken killed Viktor I was relieved.
Jayce kept his promise to Viktor, the only thing I can say that was in character in this arc.
BUT ALL IS NOT LOST
Act 3, they can bring this back, they have Mel out of the black rose pit (???) And she's back, Jayce is back, Isha is gone, Warwick is gone and Jesus AU Viktor is gone.
We have the main cast and 3 episodes for them to pick up these pieces.
I'm coping so hard I'm coping so hard I'm coping so hard
