Hi, old follower here from before you had 100 followers. I've got a semi serious question for you.

When I first followed you, I got the impression that you were a RP blog, in the case where you would RP with your "brother" (bettertwin9000), so I followed the rules as such. But later on it seems that this blog is your persona? In terms of everything said to this blog is a personal question to you? It's a weird situation where people asking those intrusive questions make sense for a RP blog, but in a normal blog situation it makes it intrusive.

Tldr, I think many are confused if this is an RP blog or you having Leo as your persona, so can you confirm what this blog actually is?

At the start of the blog <- in which we were advertising it as a roleplay blog, it was being run by our host and partially by me though I had no clue what I was doing at the time and bettertwin9000 was being run by our partner <- (which btw, made for some strange asks)

We continued advertising it as a roleplay even when we began suspecting and having full breakdowns over the idea of being a system due to some little things and some big things and lots of research and therapy and blah blah BUT we kept going back on it cause tbh DID is a hard thing to accept and we didn't want it <- still don't

SO now I was trying to run the blog more all the while trying to keep us grounded, IGNORING the possibility of DID and thinking, nah, this is just a really bad cause of delusions and we NEED to get reality checked NOW.

But I ALREADY KNEW i'm not REALLY Leo from rottmnt, but I am him, I was formed from that guy, created? Idk. He made me in his own image type reference audio. WOW IM NOT EXPLAINING ANYTHING 😭😭 did I mention we have a tendency to overexplain <- but specifically for me in the case of explaining things that are hard to explain, ANYWHIZZLE.

We kept going back and forth, confirming and denying the conclusion "we have osdd" cause that's terrifying and while this was happening I was still trying to force us to post and interact and involve ourself in arcs for the sake of distraction from EVERYTHING happening irl and the blog kind of made it worse but in a light hearted way cause suddenly the asks became really gross, and I felt really gross.

Sure, maybe someone who was roleplaying Leonardo would have no trouble answering asks about dead relatives or near death experiences or villains that have physically harmed you and your 'siblings' or about my crippling inability to speak about feelings and whatever else people diagnosed me with on here but I was having trouble answering it, I was getting uncomfortable and I was feeling genuinely overwhelmed because everything that definitely would be great material for a roleplay account was making me just feel, bad. <- which wasn't great considering at the time, feeling bad was not something i could have been affording to do

SO at some point, I started putting boundaries, didn't explain why, just continued under the guise of hey, roleplay guy here, the intruvsive invasive asks about my family and my mental health and my anatomy is making me want to die so please stop andbonly ask fun stuff like idk, if i put salt in donnie's coffee sometimes and everyone was like, yes leonardo in unison.

Then I slowly started getting more adamant on pushing the narrative that I am LITERALLY Leo from the show cause pushing that seemed to really help with the questions, and then the roleplay blog became more like. A personal blog for some dude who happened to be a ninja turtle alter and it'd unfortunately gotten so out of hand that explaining this now kind of made us even more exhausted cause oh man, we might get fake claimed huh <- we had worse things to deal with, internet drama didn't need to be added to this.

Anyway, if you read through all that junk, i'm sorry 😭, but i think it helps explain why the impression of the blog is so confusing cause it was being run by two ppl, a host and an alter who were constantly trying NOT to be those things until pretty recently when we started accepting the fact that we have Osdd

SO TIMELINE.

The blog starts off as an rp blog by our host and I unbeknownst to us both

The blog is fun and we start gaining traction

We also start gaining more mental health problems and have a full breakdown multiple times on many different social medias

We push through to cope

We talk to the other blog runners who are systems <- (Mikey, Raph and at the time when their account was apart of this, April) and they kindly answer and guide us through some things

We start adding boundaries for my sake

We talk to other systems on other social media and they help us with more stuff

We talk to our therapist

We do a ton of research on top of old research we'd apparently already done before <- suddenly we have a long document with so much information

We tell no one about the discovery when we start accepting the possibility

More funny stuff ensue and personal life things happen <- #ONLYTHEREALONESKNOW!

The only announcement I ever make that i'm an alter are one off comments in tags or answers that I never address again until I make an intro post that says I'm an alter in a system

The blog is still a roleplay account. Sometimes, canceled arcs that we would have done would have been considered roleplay <- a canceled christmas arc. But usually, this is just a blog. Like, this is just a blog I use to entertain people and to get some of my thoughts out like a singlet would. It's both i guess, it's whatever I want it to be and whatever you guys consider it to be.

The blog is just, my blog, I don't know how else to explain it 😅😅

Also, Bettertwin9000 was pretty much going through the same thing at the time and fun fact, he is actually my "brother" cause he's a Donnie alter <- (yay!)

while i do get the sense that jason is also more of a listener and observer, that just makes for better conversation! it’s like he’s almost expecting you to disappear the next moment with the way he hangs onto every single word you speak. his gentle gaze switches every few words from your eyes to your soft lips and sometimes you struggle to maintain his earnest eye contact. it’s even worse because jason’s not even purposefully trying to make you feel so flustered, so he’s worried when you stop midsentence to compose yourself.

jason’s literally the best conversation maker too! he knows just the right things to say, whether it be simple input or advice. with experience from his previous role as praetor, jason’s picked up a knack for conversation. there’s never a dull or awkward moment with him because he can so easily keep conversation flowing! 

you and jason have an ongoing monthly tradition where you two swap annotated books for the other to read! at the beginning of each month, you guys select a book, read and annotate it, and then swap books at the end of the month! 

he always loves when you choose a romance book because your annotations are basically a combination of little doodles and some form of “that’s so us babe!” 

compared to others, jason is definitely more confident with giving others words of affirmations than receiving them. again, as a praetor he was responsible for so many people that it became natural for compliments and such to leave his mouth. but the second any sort of compliment comes back to him, especially from you, it’s almost like he short circuits. 

you love how your boyfriend can so naturally whip up a compliment akin to a shakespeare sonnet, but the moment you even make a simple comment about his hair looking good, he awkwardly stumbles over his words as his cheeks flush pink.

FIRST OF ALL WAAAH THANK U!!!! Idk how to feel about having fans but it's definitely not a negative emotion haha! Also I decided I'm keeping the million dollar box name now, ill just use it along with the villain mikey tag lmao.

Overall, the main idea of the story is already out there, it's just an unedited ramble of when I first created it. The fic will be those ideas but more cleaned up.

Broke a Million Dollar Box specifically is going to be before the "Extermination" section of his timeline, coming in around the point where Donnie drops the ball so to say and joins in on Raph and Leo's arguments, effectively giving Mikey no in-house positive outlets, seeing as Splinter is neglectful of the problems as per usual.

Mikey starts getting unhealthy coping mechanisms and his brothers (semi unknowingly) and up feeding into them until it's too late to fix things and Mikey does something really bad called murder!

Now (extermination arc) he hunts the multiverse to kill alternate versions of his brothers if they fuck up in hopes to protect other Mikeys! He also imagines a "perfect" Leo, Donnie, and Raph when he's lonely on his journeys and to keep him motivated!

He is TOTALLY not a hypocrite and TOTALLY not making things worse and TOTALLY not traumatizing people with human flaws because he never resolved his own problems!

After I finish it, I might focus on his extermination arc w more various oneshot style stories, since there's a whole multiverse situation going on.

Personalities -

Donnie - He's very quiet (selectively mute). He only speaks when he really wants to. It's even rarer for him to do so w/ strangers. Probably speaks the most w/ April?

He cares about his family a lot, emotions are just ,, hard. And showing them is harder. He actually doesn't really mind physical touch? It's just. normal. to him. even though often times hes not the one who initiates it. He tends to just stand by and listen to what others want him to do. He protects, and he listens. Thats what he does best (which has led to a lot of self-dehumanization !)

Leo - She always appears calm and put together, but shes always up to do something fun. In general, shes very charismatic. People love her charm. She bounces around a lot; shes not often in one place.

She loves dressing up (something she shares w/ Mikey)! She also loves ballet and gymnastics. Wanna blow something up? Shes up for it. Wanna go watch someone do something stupid? Always. Shes the "face" of the group, one of the most social, and the most charming. She uses it to her advantage . obvs :)

Mikey - Everyone loves Mikey. Hes the favorite. The sweetest, the kindest, the most loving. Hes actually a menace, but. yknow. its easy to not realize that when he looks how he does.

hes so sweet !! (he pushed someone into a ditch) So kind !! (he is pointing his middle fingers at u behind your back). He gets away w/ EVERYTHIIING. splinter insists hes not the favorite but that is a LIE. he does actually care abt his family (and his friends) ! and he is actually genuinely kind at times ! but. he is a troublemaker at heart (he gives raph heart attacks every other day).

Raph - he is a very tired teenage mom. very tired. he gets fed up quickly, and he has a habit of jumping to conclusions.

Hes impatient, grumbly, and snappy, but he gets very anxious very quickly (w/ mikey it is 10x worse). he tends to catastrophize, and he is Very protective and overbearing at times. he doesnt even realize hes doing it sometimes. Hes trying his best to be there and keep them safe, but his best isnt enough even if he wants it to be.

April - Shes fun and energetic !! she loves to join in on Adventures and bring trouble where she goes <3 she cares so. SO. much abt the turtles. theyre everything to her (lowkey she cares abt them more than her own family).

she can be a voice of reason, but most of the time she is Not. shes carefree and she loves to do anything and everything!! ... around the turtles, that is. Around her family, shes quiet. withdrawn. she has a very complicated relationship w/ her family, and thats caused many many issues w/herself. She sees the turtles as a chance to be free, but even then she uses a facade. Girlie is going through things.

Vibes -

Donnie - Chillest guy ever. can be intimidating due to,, lack of emotion and How Fucking Tall he is, but hes quiet and like. never aggressive. just a guy u can depend on tbh.

Leo - Shes like. So cool. Calm, charismatic, charming,, she attracts people like flies. shes got v good vibes :] coolest older sister ever.

Mikey - BABY. BABY BOY. he could not do anything wrong ever (ignore everything wrong hes done ever. heehee hoohoo). little sibling vibes to the max LITTLEST GUY...

Raph - have i mentioned Teenage Mom. hes so tired man. mikey keeps pulling on his leash :( (he had to put a harness on him).

April - the gifted child syndrome and the eldest sibling syndrome are strong in this one. oh ! but dont worry, shes very good at repressing it. yknow, for other peoples sake :)

Relationships -

Donnie - Close w/ Leo, eldest siblings (though leo is v close in age w/ raph). He lets mikey come into his room and do whatever as long as he doesnt touch anything super dangerous. He respects raph a lot for everything he does. Besties w/ April :) he loves her a lot. shes family

Leo - She admires Donnie a lot just for,,, who he is. hes dependable and she appreciates it. Mikey is her little brother !! she loves him!! she loves doing things w/ him - like clothes shopping. theyre v close! She makes fun of raph but she doesnt rlly mean it, she just thinks hes fun to annoy LOL. April is also her bestie!! she always loves being w/ april and she talks abt her (april) all the time (and later they become gfs)

Mikey - He rlly loves watching donnie work. its fascinating to him. Watches Donnie a Lot and admires him. he loves leo so much!! shes his big sister! she gave him her bow and goes shopping w/ him, and she taught him how to make bracelets :) thinks shes literally the best. so sweet w/ her. Hes the closest w/ raph, though. theyre almost always w/ each other. hes usually dragging raph to places (by force, typically). he is a menace when around raph bc 1. he knows raph hates it 2. he knows no one will believe raph >:)

Raph - Mutually respects Donnie. they understand each other. leo he bickers w/ a lot, since they have such different mindsets. he finds her annoying, but shes still someone he can trust when it really comes down to it. mikey is A MENACE and he HATES HIM. (its a lie. he loves mikey very much. and he cares for mikey so so much). mikey always gives him trouble everyday. no one else seems to understand how much trouble mikey causes, to his disdain. hes always w/ mikey because hes paranoid and afraid of letting smth happen to mikey. April is someone he tends to talk to a lot, and they exchange information a lot abt their siblings. They understand what its like to have younger siblings and have to worry about them.

April - Donnie is HER BESTIEEE. she tells him everything !! she trusts him more than anyone (a title shared w/ Leo). shes almost always hanging around him if not w/ leo, and shes learned a lot abt donnies expressions and his characteristics. she knows a lot abt him. Leo !! leo is the best! theyre just girls who love each other a lot,,, platonically, of course, hahahaha. unless ... ? :) She tends to be similar to how Leo acts around mikey-- hes literally perfect 2 her. shes most calm w/ raph, and she knows he appreciates it. they sip tea together and talk abt everyday things

okay, leonardo 2x01 and 2x02

first of all, piero is the biggest mindfucking bastard ever, i don’t remember how bad uther was or if he was worse, but piero is pretty fucking bad (yeah i’m comparing to merlin because the shows are in the same era/age range (lol) and uther is a bastard and lorenzo and arthur are sorta dumbasses)

the final scene in 2x02 where piero explained why he did the things he did, i feel like that explanation could be better/more dark. like, he did it to turn lorenzo back to him, and so that leo would be indebted to him, and he did it because he’s a sadist and he totally got off on seeing leo beg lmao lbr 

(i don’t entirely feel like i’ve got a handle on leo’s character, not enough to write him)

btw OMG his dad showed up, i thought he was forever gonna be a myth lmao. i wonder if he’s gonna be a regular. but oof, harsh that his new girlfriend/fiancee still doesn’t know leo exists

i totally get why leo didn’t let lorenzo back into the fold, although i think he should’ve, because this is just gonna drive the wedge between them further and lorenzo’s gonna side more and more with his dad

okay so i spent like ep 1 missing the original actor for piero, but then the content in ep 2 was like... i don’t think i could see the original actor pulling off some of that. this current piero is darker than s1 piero. i preferred watching s1 piero though because the actor for s2 piero reminds me of motherfucking bates ewwww haha

anyway so what’s the plan for s2? does piero keep fucking them over? honestly the playing field is a bit unfair, we have a rich 40-50 y/o man with a fucktonne of henchmen going up against 3 or 4 kids (they’re supposed to be 15 but lmao they/the actors are clearly not), of COURSE the rich bastard is gonna be like 5 steps ahead and win

What are some of the drawbacks of the bionics in your "half a human" au? (if you haven't already answered that.) always love a good bit of angst >:3

Ohohoho-ho, good question! The show doesn't really show us any medical problems the kids might have due to bionics which is a pity, it would make for a good episode(s).

But this question is about my AU, where I can make things better (or worse), so (btw most of these stem from canon even if none of them was ever mentioned in the show)-

Adam has dry eyes and has to always have some eye drops on himself. This is the result of his laser vision and sometimes when he overdoes it he also gets a headache. Growing up was a hell on him, it just hurt everywhere, he had it much worse than his siblings in this regard since his bionics (and Bree's too to an extent) directly affect his muscles and bones. He has to exercise often to keep his muscle mass constant.

Bree has a very sensitive skin. Growing up also wasn't easy on her, but at least it was just legs. Her knees would hurt almost constantly and she would get horrible cramps in her legs way too often, still gets them sometimes. Her heart beats so quickly Mr. Davenport had to make a special digital blood pressure monitor (as english is not my language I don't know how is it called in english so I googled it, if this isn't the correct name I'm sorry) just for her. She has to do a lot of breathing exercises because her lungs work differently from normal human. (I'm actually so angry they gave Adam the, idk how its called, super breathing, because it would make so much more sense to give it to her, but no let's not give Bree any cool power- anyway we are getting off the topic)Her throat also hurts when she talks in a different voice for too long and sometimes she even loses her voice.

Chase - suffers from sensory overloads and migrenes. He probably has it the best out of the three of them, but it still isn't great. He is extremly light (he's underweight) despite eating as much as his siblings (Mr. Davenport stoped worrying about it years ago), but it means it's very easy to throw him into the air or at villains. He hates how often his siblings (and later the elite force) use this fact to their advantage. Some medical equipment doesn't work on him (MRI).

Leo - he got his bionics late which means he avoided most of the bad stuff. However, he still gets cramps in his arm (and later his leg). He also feels really cold after he throws that ball of light out of his hand (I forgot how it's called).

Most of the students at the bionic academy have been given bionics as babies, but they weren't design for it so they had to go through several surgeries to make using bionics more comfortable for them.

All of them aren't able to go through a metal detector without triggering it. Electricity is a huge weakness for them because it really messes with their bionics, so they try to aviod it as much as they can. Parts of their body are metal (at least the chip ports) and as we all know metal doesn't grow, but babies do. It hurt a lot.

Jaxon, volunteering at the library the day the twins came into town, for better or for worse, met Leo there. Upon realizing that the people Leo is trying to find is his adoptive siblings, Logan and Lily, Jaxon helps Leo discover long-kept family secrets. Elliot seemed to be the only one who didn't know what had happened to him. His brothers are keeping a secret from him, the twins refuse to tell him something, and he doesn't know whether to trust Logan or Jaxon or Lily or Dylan, either. When he finds out the truth, everything comes undone.

first off , leo is the same. his fear of letting the team down ( and by association his brothers ) is very real and i love that they dived into that in this ep. i felt like they could’ve done the same amount of character development for the others too tho. or at least address it. like raph’s greatest fear is COCKROACHES ???? nah. there’s more angst to b had here. so here we go

going by order of who gets infected first, the first one on the chopping board is raph. i get that his fear of cockroaches is BIG, but i don’t think that’s his BIGGEST. that’s an irrational fear, not one that plagues his day-to-day life

taking some inspo from rise raph , i think he has a DEEP anxiety of losing his brothers. Separation anxiety ahoy ! so i think it would’ve been better if his hallucination was based more on that. keeping the cockroaches would work actually ! like he sees everyone as cockroaches and freaks out , but on top of that , he’s all alone. the people he loves r gone and he doesn’t know where they r bc all he sees r giant bugs. so it’s a wombo combo. having him become increasingly more angry towards these “ cockroaches “ is also an idea. he gets so worked up when he doesn’t know how his brothers r doing and if theyr ok, so he takes it out on the only thing in front of him. poor guy

next is donnie. of course it’s april. we all saw it coming. siiigh. i do think it’s interesting how he begins to cover his ears and shout “ i don’t wana hear any more ! “ so i think we could expand on that

his biggest fear isn’t APRIL hating him, it’s ppl that he ADMIRES hating him. having this fear expressed verbally is especially a nightmare for him. there’s no leeway when someone straight up says they hate u yknow ? so boom , he freaks out. he’d begin pleading to everyone , hoping that they’d forgive him for being himself. he doesn’t want the ppl he respects to look down on him. very much “ PLEASE like me , i’ll change my whole personality JUST so u can like me “ type beat. maybe even “ just lie to me and say that u like me so it doesn’t hurt “ type rhythm

it’s mikey time ( b prepared hes my fav ). this is the one i’m real disappointed in. like i get his whole thing is being scared of smth “ stupid “ but … cmon. im the president of the take mikey seriously club and i will NOT stand 4 this !!!!!

he’s constantly being looked down upon and treated like a little kid , never being taken seriously bc he’s “ the dumb one ,” being made fun of 24/7 , etc. i don’t think mikey is immune to this , i think he’s just good at hiding his true feelings. without a doubt , it bothers him , but he doesn’t ever bring it up bc he doesn’t think his feelings matter as much as anyone else’s. so having that b the focus would b neat instead of funni comic book monster he scare mikey haha teehee. how would this b achieved ? well , he’s used to everyone putting him down , so having a donnie hallucination situation ( i’m a lyrical genius ) wouldn’t work. i think the only way this could b represented is by honing in on mikey’s self esteem. have smth that rlly digs the nail in that he’s not that important in his eyes. honestly i don’t think he needs to hallucinate for this , bc him trying to help out his brothers and failing no matter what he does would b enough. maybe those thoughts just get worse as he fails to snap everyone out of the trance theyr in. i think taking that approach would b rlly cool !

TMNT 2012 Queer Headcanons Thread

This is primarily for @neromia but y’all can do all the interacting, mkay? Mkay. (Just please be nice.)

I’m gonna keep this fairly shipless and canon-compliant but I have Other Theories that go with my fics, so let me know if another thread is wanted (those other ones would probably feature nsfw hcs, btw, fair warning).

Let’s start with the boy scout: Leonardo

Long post, so headcanons under the cut!

First of all... I subscribe to the Tiny Leo headcanon trend where our Blue Boy doesn’t get past 5′5″ and is thus the Short One by the time they’re 20-somethings, and it just stays that way. Forever.

Onto queerness!

I usually headcanon Leo as either transmasc or intersex (think Plastron's fics, if you can, or ChickInRed 's story "Call Me What I Am;" it really depends on what kinda mood I’m in lol), but for me he's also very feminine. He gives me "I double check my nails before leaving my room every morning to make sure I got all the paint off" and "I wonder if makeup would look okay, or if it would just cake between my scales?" type vibes. Very "I don't subscribe to gender roles or put much stock in societal norms but I'm a People Pleaser and don't want my brothers to bully me." He/him pronouns but might use feminine names/titles later when he's more comfortable with himself (e.g., jokes about being a queen or lady). I wouldn’t go so far as to call him a femboy, but Mikey and April could probably coax him into a nice dress if they felt like it. (He’d love it, too.)

Leo is bisexual with a preference for people who can kill him with their bare hands. He's totally Weak for cuties that are batshit fucking FERAL but will get defensive if called out on it. (Also, if they're strong enough to throw him around like a sack of potatoes during training, it's even better. Or worse if you're the onlooker watching Fearless flirt-fight.) After he comes out, he gets teased about probably having a crush on characters like Steve Rogers or Thor because of their strength, but in reality he'd rather Bucky (though he still drools over all three of them). Wolverine was probably his queer awakening but he had a thing for Mulan way before that. Girl can Fight.

He's always a little awkward/shy talking about gender or sexuality with Splinter, especially if it's HIS gender or sexuality they're talking about, but it has less to do with Splinter's views or reactions (he’s a little confused about how gender expression, but he’s got the spirit and will to learn!) and more to do with Leo just being insecure and holding his dad's opinion to an almost detrimentally high regard (which is a whole other list of hcs). He answers everybody’s questions as well as he can but he stops talking to Raph and Casey if they’re drinking because one time Raphael called him a “twink brat” and Leo still hasn’t gotten over that level of embarrassment (he wasn’t exactly wrong, but still. It didn’t need to be pointed out in front of the entire clan, Raph, come on.)

Overall, Leo’s just a disaster bi running from the toxic-masculinity police.

Next one’ll be Raph! And boy do I have some shit to say about him!!!

You sulked home in the rain, leaving behind the warmth and comfort the lair provided in favour of the cold wintery rain of New York. Cars and bikes splashed past you as you shuffled along the sidewalks, not daring to get remotely close to a manhole cover where they could easily drag you back down.  

You could still hear his voice, feel the emotions bouncing around the room as his brother stood witness to your fight. You couldn't believe what a fool, moron, idiot he had been, to do something so stupid and for what? To pull off a cool skateboarding trick that only four other people would see? Sure, some might argue that the fight was pathetic, but you valued his safety above your own most nights and seeing him fall from the height scared you.

Sure, he got back onto his feet with a few scratches covering his body and a gash on his knee, but he still held that toothy grin. You shared the same look of concern as his brothers, however, unlike you, their fear washed away rather quickly; too quick in your opinion. 

Yet, that was only the start of this brewing flame within. A few days later the boys were out on a mission, something about sneaking into Big Mama's hotel for some dumb dog tag. You hadn't paid much mind because it was under Splinter's guidance, you knew he would never let any harm come upon them. But, when the days turned to nights too many times without them you became worried. Yes, they got back fine. But the stories they had told about their time in the building sent shivers up your spine, it was so dangerous and all they could do was laugh and eat pizza.

Someone could have got seriously hurt, or worse. 

A few days after that you and Leo had been walking along the rooftops, desperate for some fresh air and time together. You and Leo had been best friends since the moment you had met, the first time you had ever crossed eyes there had been this silent click of friendship. You could easily tolerate Leo and all his Leo-ness, while he happily indulged with you on all your nerdy superhero stuff. You had a great friendship, although you always wished it had become more.

Maybe that's why you cared so much when he went into dangerous situations with such swagger, maybe that's why you yelled your lungs out to him just moments ago for everyone to see.

They had just come back from patrol, something about fighting those Foot guys again for the tenth time this week. It hadn't been anything new, just light laughs and high threes. Donnie had mentioned something about this massive Foot soldier they had taken out, Mikey quickly comparing it to Godzilla or Kong. You smiled as they proceeded to squabble over who was the bigger bad, "What do you mean Godzilla is better than King Kong? That movie's a classic, have you no respect for the art of cinema!" Donnie huffed, arms crossed over his plastron.

"But Godzilla is a massive dinosaur, D! How is that not the most rad thing you've ever seen?" 

You had drifted away from the thrilling debate, opting to go into the kitchen to see where the turtle in blue resided instead. Bouncing on the tips of your toes as you approached the red-eared slider, you gave him a hearty pat on his shell, knocking whatever he was holding to the ground.

"Hey, Lee. Watch ya doin'?" you mused, still staring at the back of his head as he bent down to retrieve his item. Grumbling under his breath at the obvious reference, he pasted on that stunning smile and finally turned to you. Your smile faltered as you took in his appearance, so caught up in seeing your best friend you had failed to notice the shape that he was in.

His iconic blue bandana was laying limp on the kitchen counter, his arms and legs were littered with little paper cuts, but more prominently, he had a massive black eye with bruises forming all around that area. Gasping quietly, you continued to study his appearance much to his annoyance "Leo, what happened?" He rolled out his shoulders, a small popping sound emitting from the laboured joint, "S'nothing," he mumbled.

"Leonardo Hamato, don't stand there with a bag of peas in your eye and tell me it's nothing." you rasped. Leo looked almost shocked at your commanding attitude, but it was expected from you he supposed. Shrugging off your harsh gaze, he turned to face the fridge, shell resting delicately against the counter, "Fine, you wanna know what happened?" he spat out.

His tone alone sent shivers down your spine, he had never spoken to you before with such malice in his voice. He looked back at you with a glare, a warning that blared 'Don't mess with me'.

"We were on patrol like normal, goofing around and all that jazz. We got to the docks and saw those Foot goons with a bunch of shipping containers and did our hero thing. You know, punching and kicking, quipping." he chuckled at the end, a hint of a smile forming on his lips. He shook his head, promptly hissing at the pain from his blackening eye, "Anyway, we pretty much defeated their paper army and was about to call it a day. But these guys had other plans and made this like huge guy, we couldn't shake him."

You took timid steps towards him, your hand shaking as it landed on top of his own. "Leo, what happened?" you repeated more urgency in your voice this time. Leo wrapped his hand around your own, savouring the warmth that crept in from your skin "I got caught up with...well it doesn't matter now, I'm ok aren't I?" 

"Clearly you're not, if you were you wouldn't be stood here with a black eye. And what about your arms and legs, you look like you got chewed up by a paper shredder."

"If anything I was the paper shredder," he joked, you looked at him as though he had lost his mind. "Is this a game to you?" you whispered, now looking down at your muddy trainers. Leo's eyes traced your face looking for any sort of humour or smile, but he found nothing, "What?" 

"You and your brothers go out every night and act like the world is a bouncy castle, when you fall you'll spring right back and everything will be fine-"

"(Y/N)." Leo warned, pulling his hand away from your own, his full attention on you. You walked away from him, pacing back and forth in front of the fridge as a way to cope with your upcoming anger. "No Leo, you can't tell me you take your missions seriously when you're always cracking stupid jokes. God, do you know how much I worry about you when you do dumb shit like this!"

Leo stepped closer to you, his eyes squinting harshly at you "It's not your job to worry." 

"Yeah, well I guess I just like you too much to see you dead on the sidewalk!" you shouted, strutting out of the kitchen to grab your stuff and leave. Leo trailed behind you, hot on your heels, his hands waving around as he spoke "Oh, so just because you like me that justifies that you can boss me around? Tell me what I can and cannot do, huh?" You turned around to him, your head in mere contact with his heaving plastron "No Idiot, it means I actually care about you enough to not see you dead. But I guess I made the wrong choice, huh?" you mocked, side-stepping him to grab your coat; moving to the exit, you didn't look back behind you.

It was funny to think that was only a few hours ago, since then you had just been wandering the streets of New York in hopes to distract your aching heart. You didn't want to return to your apartment, knowing that's where he'll show up to apologise to you. It had got darker in the city since you first came up from the sewers, the breeze becoming more prominent as the cold nipped at your fingertips. Walking past an unsuspecting alleyway, you shrieked as a hand tightened itself around your arm and dragged you into the shadows.

Blinking your eyes open in panic, they rested upon an angry slider. His blue bandana was wrapped loosely around his head, probably not to put too much pressure on his eye, his arms and legs had been covered in plasters no doubt Mikey's doing. "What? Come to yell at me some more?" you snared, Leo only growled in response "You didn't even give me a chance to argue back."

"Oh, I'm sorry I didn't know we had to be civilised during a yelling match. Please, ladies first," you scolded. Leo's grip on you tightened, although in the end, he let you go. Deciding to back away to create distance between you both "You're a real bitch, you know that right?" he spits out, his gaze never leaving the grungy concrete. "Why do you always do that?" you hissed.

"Do what?"

"Make dumb jokes and stupid quips, who are you impressing?"

"It's who I am, I'm-"

"Who you are? I'm sorry, I didn't know to be on a ninja team you needed a funny guy."

"Well someone's got to lighten the mood!"

"Yeah, when it calls for it!"

"So what? You saying I'm not funny or something?"

"You're doing it again! Always ignoring the real problem-"

"Then tell me what the problem is!"

"You want me to tell you the problem, fine I'll fucking spell it out for you! You're irresponsible, clumsy, attention-seeking, childish, loud, lazy, competitive, a sore winner, a sore loser, you shove pizza in your mouth so fast I'm surprised you don't choke, you-"

"Oh, I'm sorry Mr/Mrs perfect! I forgot you do everything so right all the time, there could never be anything wrong with you!"

You stared at him blankly, during your argument the two of you had crept closer and closer together. Your laboured breaths panting out into the darkness of the night, you could faintly feel his pants hitting your face. Looking down towards your feet, your mind finally processed what was happening; you were losing him. Blinking back up at him, tears flurrying down your cheeks, you mumbled: "I chose to love you, that was my problem."

Leo looked shocked, his clenched fists had parted, he felt his raging shoulders deflate with guilt. You loved him? Why? How? Since when? His brain had broken, surprisingly not the first time when his thoughts had drifted to you. "You love me?" he muttered, still in awe. You stepped away from him, wiping away the small trail of snot leaking from your nose. Heading back to the entrance of the alley, you gave him a small glance back. 

Leo leapt forward, his mind making brash decisions as he fought to keep up with you. Lucky for him barely any New Yorker was out on the streets, perhaps fate was real after all. He threw himself in front of you blocking your path, "You love me." he repeated. You groaned, eyes rolling to the back of your head, stepping around him you marched on. Although, Leo was quicker. The teenage turtle again jumped in front of you repeating "You love me." like a mantra, "I wish I didn't." you seethed moving around him again.

However, on the third time he jumped in front of you, you were about ready to slap the red stripes off of his face, "Will you stop?" you huffed. Leo's grin doubled after seeing your bemused frown, "I love you too." he beamed, anger seemingly gone from his system. Your frown deepened "Ha ha, funny." 

"I'm not lying."

"Leooo," you moaned, becoming tired and frustrated by his behaviour. Leo took a timid step towards you "You don't believe me do you?", you couldn't answer him, instead choosing to trace the brick tiles on a nearby building. Leo gently placed a finger under your chin, angling your head so he could beam into your eyes "Here, let me show you." he trailed off. Before you could respond his lips were pushed firmly onto your own, engulfing the plump flesh within seconds. His other hand found comfort on your cheek, while your hands found home around his neck.

You were disappointed that you melted into his embrace so easily, your brain simply ignoring your disagreement for the sake of your heart. You pulled away first, choosing to glance into his eyes for any hint of a lie; all you found was love. "See," he whispered, leaning in again "I never lie." Leo smoothly pushed his lips back to yours, both enjoying being like this together than arguing. You both hummed out "I'm sorry" although neither of you gave the other time to part. You'd apologise properly eventually and you think you had found the perfect way to.

One Piece Chapter 1026 - Initial Thoughts

And we return The weeks always feel longer without it but One Piece is back from its big 3-part colour spread and a well-earned rest for Oda

But now we return to the Dragon Action, taking it by the ball Z Or something along those lines

A sweet Nami cover this time, making a fashion line with Leo in the style of Bell-mere's Sunflower/Lion design - which tbf could've been Thousand Sunny foreshadowing now that I think about it

Man, the Flower Capital is just a big bowl for Onigashima isn't it? I wonder if Onigashima was originally where the Flower Capital was, and when it was thrown into the ocean they built the Flower Capital from the remains

Hitetsu's worrying about Tama, even though he could've easily been competent enough to fight, but I guess someone has to look after Toko - where's Onimaru btw?

Even more ominous is that Onigashima isn't too far from the Flower Capital now

One of the eye print spies who can broadcast seems to be at the scene of the dragons, able to confirm that there are two dragons, one's being rode by Luffy and Yamato has been fighting Kaido

Luffy does want to encourage Momo to do Dragon Things but he's still being unsure about himself, deciding to dodge the Blast Breath rather than fire one of his own

Quietly, Luffy tells Momo to do something, something he's not entirely sure about, but Luffy's already off to hammer down a Gear Third Elephant Gun

Bite Kaido!? That's a Luffy and a Goku move there, when in doubt bite your enemy

Momo's reluctant, but then memories of Oden Castle steel his nerves

Crazy sonofabitch did it, Kozuki Momonosuke just bit the Yonko Kaido, and boy did Kaido not see that coming

Though it's not doing as much damage as hoped, but when Kaido stares him down Momo stares right back

Yamato looks to come rescue Momo but Luffy's back with the conqueror's punch

Ah shit, the dragons have clouded up the Moon again, meaning that Inu and Neko have been pushed back to their normal forms at the mercy of Perospero and Jack

Oh man Jack's hybrid form just keeps looking worse, he has a whole mammoth's ass

Pero you should really not gloat about having luck

Carrot honey you need to contribute more in this fight please, it hurts to see you go to waste

The performance floor still is getting the broadcast from the transmission guy, where Momo's name is clearly heard to identify the safety of the young lord to the allies

Luffy got a point, if Momo can bite a Yonko what's he scared of now

Yamato is just enjoying the ride at this point

As Luffy encourages Momo to stop Onigashima, Zoro and Sanji show disbelief that they're talking about Momo

Once more Luffy stands his ground, declaring he will defeat Kaido

I wonder if BM lowkey respects Luffy at this point, or if she's just laughing it all off

Kid's 'fuckin' better' gets me though XD dude went from wanting to take Kaido's head to letting Luffy do it

Law too just pulling his passive aggressive comments

For the rest of the alliance, spirits are high, mainly out of relief that Momo and Luffy are indeed alive

Kaido though is back in his hybrid form, ready to challenge Luffy once again

Apt that Luffy says 'anything can happen' because the two Conqueror's clash parts the skies just like WB/Shanks and Kaido/BM did, the transmission guy is KO'd and the clash parts the heavens, letting the moon shine in

I'd say Perospero is about to eat his words but with that fatass tongue of his it's a surprise he can eat anything

Citing Oden Nitoryu, though clearly not using Nitoryu, Inu and Neko defeat Pero and Jack. I think Pero's candy arm has shattered too

Orochi get your bitch ass out of hiding so we can finish that last head off!

So we're back to Luffy vs Kaido now, which is great, I'm curious though what Yamato will now do though, maybe help Momo with stopping Onigashima from falling? Dunno how but it could work out.

Luffy definitely should get props for sparking confidence in Momo, telling him to bite Kaido was childish on the surface but it also served as a motivation for Momo to act his newfound age.

While I'm not surprised that Inu and Neko won, I am still let down that Carrot doesn't get the final blow on Perospero, since she was most affected by witnessing Pedro's death. I dunno I think I just want more from her, especially since I think she'd be cool in the Nakama. Considering that in Whole Cake she successfully outwitted and defeated 3 of BM's children including Daifuku, plus Randolph a high ranking Homie also plus any of Kaido's gifters during their skirmish at Zou, she deserves some props.

Orochi's return to the field could spell bad things for Inu though, I still think he's gonna die but it's gonna suck if it's thanks to Orochi rather than in combat. At the moment though he seems to want to keep his distance, probably looking for a safe way off the island, but we should definitely be wary of him for the time being.

- i actually liked drew. im so sorry to everyone who hates her but full offence, why. think about it this way ok, first of all drew became hc because silena died. silena was the traitor, the one who betrayed chb, yet after she died campers celebrated her as a hero? and then drew suddenly has to replace her and live up to idk that legacy she left behind,, when all of a sudden this girl named piper swoops in and takes her place. idk abt u but i wld be salty abt that too. not only that, but as an asian, the chances of drew having faced racism/bullying as a child is pretty high (she studies at brooklyn academy). which means that when she finds out shes a demigod, and arrives at chb where most of the campers are white (this is an assumption btw), she’d obviously be scared of being bullied for her skin color right?? so the first thing she wld do before the campers get to bully her is to bully them before they can do so. (sentence structure here is wack i apologize) ofc this might not even have happened, drew could have had a perfect childhood && was a b1tch for no reason, BUT EVEN THEN HER ROLE AS A BULLY WAS PRETTY VITAL BECAUSE THAT FURTHER SHOWED THE CONTRAST BETWEEN HER AND PIPER,, HIGHLIGHTING PIPER AS A HERO//GOOD CHARACTER,, AND THEREFORE MAKING READERS LIKE PIPER MORE. anyway stop hating on drew please. - travis and connor stoll r way too underrated. the two have been head counselors of the hermes cabin since luke was revealed as a traitor, can u imagine the stress? luke, the person they probably looked up to as a brother, betrayed them. and they didnt even have time to process this when they were  thrown the roles of being hcs. that would have been so stressful and i would probably have broken down if i were them. the stoll brothers taking turns to wake up at ungodly hours because a new camper is crying and homesick and terrified, the stoll brothers having to comfort and take care of new campers, having to deal with the amount of people in that cramped space because not enough campers are being claimed fast enough. having to resolve issues between campers in the hermes cabin all the time. the stolls arent just comedic relief, and we need to stop treating them as such

- demigods of the demeter cabin arent talked about enough and i love the fact that meg was demeters kid. like she isnt the child of one of the big three yet shes so powerful.

- we need to hype clarisse up more her character arc was phucking amazing 

- rachel is overhated. sis found out greek gods exist and regularly come down to earth to fuck around and went “ok cool”. queen shit behavior methinks

- the floor 19 crew of mcga is srsly underrated. like do u even remember halfborn gunderson, mallory keen, tj, etc??? bc i feel like we only remember samirah, magnus, alex, and sometimes blitz and hearthstone

- sadie (tkc) was kinda annoying at first. i like her more now tho but i rmb not liking her for a phat while

- tkc and mcga need more love

- carter kane and jason grace arent boring. theyre just really sweet boys who are too good for this world and yes yes yes 

- hazel and frank (especially frank) need to be hyped up more. i hardly ever see anything about them. also yall seem to forget that frank was literally made praetor and that even hecate admired hazel and was willing to fight beside her because of how powerful she was

- frazels age gap is kinda sketch but i still think theyre really cute

- nico definitely had trauma from going to tartarus on his own

- GROVER IS PERCYS BEST FRIEND

- annabeth isnt smarter than leo but neither is leo smarter than annabeth. ive seen a lot of discussions about who is smarter and heres my hot take on it: neither. theyre equally smart, just in different ways. leos a genius mathematically speaking. he has no issues solving math problems meant for people much, much older than him. annabeth on the otherhand, is great at strategies etc. she can make an army of 1000 more powerful than the enemy, even if theyre outnumbered. so in my opinion, both are equally as smart//u cant compare their intelligence, because their talents lie in two different areas.

- while i do agree rick riordan isnt a god and that hes bound to make mistakes,, AND that hes given us a lot of representation,, if the representation offends the people its sposed to represent, then theres a problem. im talking about piper as a poc and wearing feathers in her hair. im not a poc, so i cant speak for them on whether or not its wrong, because i dont know either. HOWEVER, i have seen multiple posts BY pocs talking about how they didnt really like rick’s representation of piper, and thats an issue. pocs have been and are still oppressed and discriminated against by many. as a white cis man, we cant really blame him for not knowing (tho he could have done a research,, asked some pocs,, idk), but by representing pocs in that manner, hes influencing impressionable kids/teens into thinking “oh pocs wear feathers in their hair all the time” etc, which isnt true. the pjo/hoo series is extremely successful, and kids who read the books will probably start forming inaccurate opinions on pocs. the amount of fan art that depicts piper with feathers in her hair dont help either. “but rick said so in the books, so its canon” yeah well rick isnt a god and he can get some things wrong at times. im not saying we should cancel him, im saying we should start educating ourselves and not spread false info like pocs wearing feathers in their hair all the time. also that snake song shit where she sang Summertime was just- yeah. bc heres the thing you can be racist, and still include minorities, but portray them in a racist way. And even then, ignorance isn't a thing to admire. Getting those facts wrong still has a major impact. It continues to perpetuate racist stereotypes.

Johnil Synastry Astrology Analysis

for the lols

To all my Johnil shippers, in the light of recent events:

I decided to make this, now I am not a shipper of no pairings in NCT (romantically cos I think it is strange, but if you ship them romantically, you do you boo. I am writing this post to cater to the platonic shippers, the romantic shippers and the sexual shippers) but I thought it’d be interesting to look at the synastry of Johnil since John John keeps saying Taeil is his soulmate (but then again he said so was Jaehyun so Johnny u whore) and I honestly love their friendship.

This is going to be just a basic synastry reading, for fun. Please do not take things too seriously, astrology is meant to be taken lightly and this was made with good intentions, again, for fun. 

Let’s begin then:

Sun trine sun (Gemini & Aquarius)

This is BFF culture and you can’t tell me otherwise. Sun trining another person’s sun is just so positive, these two are very similar in terms of ego, basic personality or maybe not necessarily “similar” as in completely alike but rather as in “in harmony”. They share a similar perspective, and probably identify with each other in some ways, or if you want to use millennial terminology: “they vibe with each really hard”. Taeil and Johnny’s basic personalities compliment each other very well, Geminis x Aquarius reminds me of this sentence: “your weird matches my weird so that’s why we are friends”.

Sun trine Moon (Taeil’s sun trining Johnny’s Moon)

This kind of aspect is often said to be one of the strongest (Conjunction would be stronger than a trine, but a trine is mre harmonious) synastry aspects two people can have in synastry, it is just works you know. There is understanding, there is a true care between the two and there is attraction. What more do you need? The sun person (Taeil) depends on the support from the Moon person (Johnny) and and Johnny (moon) generally comes to rely on Taeil for wisdom and probably really trusts him. It is a very naturally flowing aspect with a lot of emotional understanding. It reminds me of when Johnny said he now knew what it was like to have a big brother thanks to Taeil.

Moon sextile Moon (Taeil’s Leo Moon x Johnny’s Gemini Moon)

Personally, I love sextiles, they have the same easy-flowing energy as a trine except it is different, as in the there is more differences between the two signs but it works. It is the best of both worlds. Leo Moons are children at heart, they are playful, and fun-loving and Gemini Moons bring the fun, they are witty and funny. Of course, there are differences between the two but that’s what makes it more interesting. Another BFF aspect. I dont know why but air and fire signs always remind me of friendship, even in romantic settings, these people are friends first lovers second. It is your typical friends to lovers AU. 

Johnny’s Sagittarius Jupiter trining Taeil’s moon

This is too cute, it is such a positive aspect to have in synastry: Jupiter is essentially the Moon’s happy pill, their anti-depressant. The Jupiter person (in this case Johnny) always tries to make the moon (Taeil) person happy, Taeil often might be resist but probably quickly warmed up tp him and harmonised with his ideal and positivity. Whether Taeil is aware of this or not, I can see Johnny being a very important influence for him, a comforting ball of light in a way, when he is having a hard time and is feeling a bit emotional, he might turn to Johnny and Johnny probably gets him to open up more than other people would.

Mercuries quincunx/inconjunct (Cancer VS Aquarius) BUT then Taeil’s mercury opposites Johnny’s Capricorn Venus BUT then Taeil’s Gemini ass trines Johnny’s Aquarius Mercury

First of all, I want to fight the person that made the word “quincunx”. It’s ugly. This aspect is also call inconjunct but ya know. 

The reason why I am writing these aspects together is because they sort of cancel each other out (at least in my head). So mercury quincunx/inconjunct mercury is literally what it says, if conjunct means “joined together, combined” then you can guess what INconjunct means right? With this aspect, the two epople (in this case Johnil) don’t share the same intellectual or educational background, nor the same way of thinking or communicating. It is a case of, these two mercury signs are literally like an apple and a giraffe, there is nothing that connects the two. Communication is difficult because of this, their sense of humour is nothing alike, their ideas don’t match, it is a mess. One person could tell a joke and the other is like ?????? what 

But here is why, synastry, my friends, is complicated as shit, more often than not there will be other aspects that will either make aspects worse or better, or soften it or make it more chaotic. So here is the tea:

(Taeil) Mercury opposite Venus (Johnny): this turns the exchange of ideas exciting, these two tend to open up with each other a lot more, communication ofte has a flirty subtext (probably from Johnny’s part ngl) no matter if it’s a romantic or platonic relationship, and these two are also more likely to talk to each other basically. So it kind of cancels that awkwardness of the inconjunct. But because opposites are a double edged sword ready to fucking attack, even tho the exchange between mercury and venus is fun and exciting, it is also likey it will source some conflict, but isn’t that every human interaction ever? With this aspect there might be TOO much excitement, you might accidentally cut each other off and there might be a slight competition, there might be small misunderstandings. These are all things that can be subconscious. 

(Taeil) Sun trines Mercury (Johnny): THIS gives the relationship easy understanding, talking to each other is as easy as breathing, they love talking to each other and the communication flows freely, they are often eager to listen to each other and work together. It is such a positive aspect to have, Taeil (as the sun person) probably really admires Johnny’s intellect and how he communicates. I think they really get each other and work very well together, probably finish each other’s sentences. This is a complete platonic aspect btw (on its own), it is great for friendships because there is a real sense of understanding. And this just shows me that those two are probably really good friends outside “NCT”/work. You can tell even in front of the cameras that they are very comfortable around each other. I haven’t checked the degrees to see which ones of these mercury aspects is the tightest (meaning: the strongest) but judging by the way they act, I am going to say it is this one as it cancels the awkwardness of the inconjunct and the lowkey tension of the opposite. 

So you see why this shit is complicated?

Venus Opposite Venus (Cancer vs Capricorn)

Johnil and their soulmate aspects, ffs. Venus opposite Venus is chaotic soulmate aspects, that’s what I’m going to call it. As the name suggests, the two Venuses are the exact opposite, except this kind of opposite is the kind where you complement each other. You might be completely different, yet you are so alike. In astrology, Cancer and Capricorn are dubbed the “mother & father” of the chart, Capricorn is ruled by Saturn which represents your father figure whilst Cancer is ruled by Moon, the planet which represents your mother figure. Cancer’s stereotypical character archetype is very ‘Motherly’, they are sensitive, caring, loving, nurturing and honestly just want to care for you and love you while Capricorn’s archetype is more of a stereotypical masculine fatherly type of character: they are work/goal oriented, reserved, hardworking and guarded with their emotons which is a complete 180 turn from what Cancer is (in the sense that their emotions are way much more on the surface than Capricorn). Both signs are very traditional in a sense, and value relationships. I honestly think this is the cutest thing, Venus in Cancer wants to provide an emotional blanket for you and nurture you and Venus in Capricorn wants to provide for you in a more physically tangible way (like money for example, but they also want you to work hard for yourself), they work very well together despite the differences. 

On a more platonic note, I can see Johnny and Taeil possibly discussing relationship or their ideals and agreeing on a lot of things. Their ideal types are probably the complete opposite and their approaches to love are also different but there might be a lot of similarities, they are both old souls when it comes to romance, both want to protect and provide for their partners, and both being a cardinal signs makes them great initiators. The main difference is that Capricorn (Johnny)’s approach is more practical, logic and calculated whilst Cancer (Taeil)’s approach is more emotion oriented. 

This is funny cos Johnny (Venus in Capricorn) is usually seen as the father figure of NCT while Taeil (Cancer Venus) is seen as a mother figure. 

Mars Square Mars (Taurus x Leo)

shut up I LOVE THIS, as someone with a Taurus Mars who has almost exclusively dated Leo Mars men (because I’m actually cursed and am fucking doomed to end up with a leo mars’ trash ass) let me tell you. This shit is M E S S Y, but hot. Also I love that Taeil has a Taurus Mars, like yes representation! We good uns

Hard aspects like a square more times than not cause tension, but it highly depends on the individuals. If the two mars in question were to be less developed (as in the mars signs being less developed versions) these two would barely be able to stand in the same room without actually wanting to punch each other cos the other person somehow manages to rub you in every wrong way possible. You can be the calmest person (which usually Taurus Mars are) and just this person BREATHING will irritate you. 

But if the two mars signs in question are developed versions, like two mature individuals, you can actually benefit from being in relationships (of any kind) with someone whose mars squares yours. With a square, your drives, your passions and the way you deal with anger, are completely incompatible, these two couldn’t be any more different in their basic impulses and instincts. But this allows for personal growth, this person will challenge you, even provoke you and push you, this all could be negative or positive it depends on you. It is easy to get overwhelmed, become irritated and impatient with this synastry aspect, but it can also be rewarding as the other person usually helps you discovers sides of your Mars self you probably did not know you had. In the case of Taurus and Leo, Taurus tend to hold onto their anger, on the outside they seem to be calm and collected but in reality they are just holding in their anger and holding back, that is why they seem “calm”, Taurus has an immense amount of patience because they are so used to biting their tongue instead of lashing out. Leo’s chaotic loud energy ticks off Taurus in the way no other sign manages to do, at first this relationship could be extremely chaotic, full of fights and arguments until they start to understand each other. And when that happens, they can actually balance each other out: Taurus could learn to stop holding being so reserved and “fake calm” and Leo could learn how to control their temperament and calm tf down.

This is the kind of relationship where there is just constant teasing, things like "I love you but you are literally so irritating” might be said, actually a very loving relationship if the individuals get their shit together. I don’t mean to keep fueling you weirdos but all I’m going to say this is known as both an indicator of strong attraction (both physically and emotionaly) but also a baby maker aspect so you do whatever you want with this information... 

When mars and the moon come together, it tends to create fascination and attraction but also mars can sometimes unintionally hurt the moon’s feelings by being a little too aggressive, it is definitely an emotonal aspect, with its ups and downs. Often the moon person needs to be nurtured and cared and the Mars person can be a little too insensitive and oblivious, but at the same time this aspect can indicate the mars person is quite protective of the moon person like “this is my baby, hurt it and I’ll fight”.

The Mars person is probably very turned on by Venus’ loving persona/nature, here sexual feelings and romantic feelings blend very naturally and not aggressively, overall it is very positive and it can be th indicator of a fulfilling relationship.

Lilith represents a few things in our chart, it shows you the darkest parts of your psyche and self (this is the kind of person you are at your worst), but also can show you your deepest darkest desires. Traditionally, in astrology, in a man’s chart Lilith can be the kind of woman he desires yet fears. We can also interpret this as just the kind of person you desire but fear, you are inivitably attracted to them but the idea of being attracted to that person can make you uncomfortable, nervous even but you are still aroused somehow. 

Not to go into TOO much detail, but this is a strong indicator of sexual attraction, the Lilith person usually is too scared to persue the Sun person, but the chemistry is there. In a relationship, this would be definitely intense and challenging, the Lilith person usually does not react to the Sun person very well (I think this aspect would be felt if the relationship was of a romantic/sexual nature, if it is just a friendship I don’t think it would be as prominent and it would possibly manifest in other ways).

King of Prism SSS episode 1 commentary!

....I ended up talking about the Crunchyroll subs way more than I meant to. But you see this is the first time ever I have read a King of Prism translation that was not mine. So that was kind of a big deal for me. 

Please note when I mention things that have happened “so far” at this point episodes up to 9 have aired in Japanese theaters. So I have seen everything but the Shin/Louis episodes and ending (Part 4). 

It blows my mind how much Shin actually EXPLAINS in this episode. I have been waiting for so long to actually have someone (outside of supplementary material) to actually explain the difference between academy style and... wait....

....THE FUCK..... (we’re not off to a good start with these subs maybe haha...)

Seriously what the hell. 

Shin’s house is just so plain! And NORMAL! His parents just look so.... NORMAL.................. (t... to...o.... nor... mal.....)

AHHHH I have been waiting to pause on Leo’s house for weeks! There is so much to see. In Leo’s episode they say his dad is a character designer, which is the reason why Leo is always surrounded in the pair tomos. (Except wait pair tomos are supposed to be real in this universe so wait huh--)

I HAVE ALSO BEEN WAITING FOR THIS. I can’t get over how perfect this picture is and how perfectly it shows everyone’s relationship. I especially like the gay left corner where we have Bell claimed by Otoha, and Hiro standing NEXT to Bell, but his hand is on Kouji’s shoulder.... ahhh these kids....

There is a lot of foreshadowing for future episodes when Shin introduces everyone, but I won’t be pointing out what ahah....

As soon as Over the Rainbow goes into their jump you can pick out any first timers in the theater audience ahaha.

Good lord this scene killed me and everyone else in the midnight showing, and for several showings afterwards. Despite not being cheering, just seeing that turtle in the hot pot and we were DYING. And then it got WORSE. 

I really wonder how much farther they can push the envelope with Kouji. At this point it’s too late to go back. No life rafts to abandon the Kouji ship. 

My ad-lib for this scene in theaters is “DIAGONAL” btw

But a lot of the time most of us are laughing too hard to say anything. 

The translator thought “Boys’ Prism Show” was a specific event or something? Why is “Boys’” capital?

Oh come on this is the best translation they could come up for this. Wait.... wait how did I translate this again when it was on Prism Rush? I think I went with something like “Do you want to enJOY yourself with me in Takadanobaba” or something like that because this pun DOESNT WORK IN ENGLISH nnnrgh

TWINS AND NIKKANEN ANIME DEBUT

Did you see them!? Because I sure didn’t the first couple times I saw this episode. I couldn’t even get a proper screenshot with Ukyo’s face in it. Sorry Ucchan ahhhhh. 

This is literally their first and only anime appearance so far. 

But I’m so glad they sneaked them in. They’re real!

And like I mentioned in the comments of one of my posts before, they are probably still living in the new Edel Rose building. 

So like..... Jin looking at Louis and seeing him change into Hijiri or other characters is actually an ongoing trope in SSS. It happens several more times. And I have been debating whether it’s something Louis is doing on purpose, or if Jin is just that far gone. It could so easily be either, or a combination of the two. 

I have been waiting for WEEEEEEKS just to pause on this stupid piece of paper and read it to find out what is going on in this scene and why Edel Rose is in debt again. But now I’m kinda more confused, because they introduce another reason for Edel Rose doing the Prism One later. But maybe that’s just on TOP of this, I don’t know........................

In this scene when Hijiri says they have to talk, everyone in the theater is like “HERE?!” 

When I was at the theater greeting with Junta-san, Igarashi-san, etc., the boys talked for like 10 straight minutes about Minato cooking in this scene and Kouji just going ahead and tasting it. They were so stocked on this scene it was ridiculous. I could barely tell what they were saying hahah...

This line right here might be my favorite voiced line in the entire show. Even though it’s just “thank you for gathering here today”... the way he says it, especially with what you know he’s going to do next. It’s like insincerity wrapped in sincerity wrapped in sarcasm wrapped in sincerity again. I swear it leaves a slimy residue in the air. 

So if you haven’t figured it out the Prism One is basically the framing device for SSS. The character episodes skip around and take place at different times (Some seem to take place months in the past even. I think Leo’s episode for example takes place before he meets Nikkanen as there is something in it that I think dates it I won’t say what. Since they all move back into the old school it’s hard to tell), but it all ties back to the Prism One tournament which slowly progresses over the series. 

I like how they put one of the series biggest spoilers just in the opening but at the same time I am also kinda glad they did. People need to know. Hopefully seeing this kind of stuff encourages people who haven’t yet to watch Rainbow Live before the end of this series.

Episode 1 is the only episode that has this random, out of place foreshadowing. I think they specifically put it in episode 1 to warn you that things are all fun and games now, but serious shit is gonna go down in the Part 4 Shin/Louis episodes................ huhhhhrrrh......... 

And to add up to this, in the upcoming episodes one of the themes they keep coming back to is how much Shin entering Edel Rose changed things for everyone and how much he means to them......

~ My son Mikey I can't let anybody hurt you. (Btw, Leon call him Miguelito). He struggles a little with puberty, mostly with ocasional acne. His brothers constantly remind him of being careful to not get scars from pinching the pimples obsessively.

~ MIXED BRAH U CANT' TELL ME OTHER WISE, 1/2 cups of african-american and 1/2 cups of latino spice and PUFF yOU GOT CINNAMON ROLL THAT COULD ACTUALLY KILL YOU.

~ Cocoa skin (with that yellow undertone, you know?). Thin hair, curly, natural and the most bouncy-est(?) hair, a little above the chin lenght, tied up in a bun when he's busy making art.

~ Button nose, surrounded by some freckles. With really big, almond eyes. His face gets pinkish when it's to damn hot, he's doing to much work or is REALLY angry.

~ I think I gotta bring up how nice his smile is, he got that smile, that shows up just his upper teeth row, the upper lip disappears and it goes way up his cheeks and then it sinks in his dimples. Art.

~ Mikey ain't that young but his height, complexion and even facial features makes him look a lot younger in comparison to his brothers, he could be like 25 and ppl would still think he's in highschool, never aging ppl.

~Had this beautiful dreads, with the tips colored differently once in a while. Now he's growing his hair to have larger dreads, so he can paint em a different color each and have em in high up-do, like a rubberband ball.

~ Mikey would wear every fucking color, get the fuck away with toxic masculinity p l e a s e. Fits anything 10/10. But loves sports clothing (Matching ones are the BEST) he find's it refreshing and really comfy since Miguel is really active, so if he's needs to go usain bolt he GOES OFF and you can imagine sneakers don't last with him. Probably, every single piece of clothing he owns has at least a minor stain from some sort of paint.

~Wears headbands, sometimes really neat designs and then straight out "what the hell is this vomit stain garbage Mikey?" (from Donnie, mostly).

~ Has fake piercings. He's got several in his ears. He wants to have em for real, older brothers just keep telling him that "when he gets older".

Plus: We all know how the turtles are sneaky sneaky, tricky tricky and rad skillyz skillyz being ninjas but in this human AU his brothers got nothing on him like he's flexible as hell, he comes down the stairs like the exorcist bitch or that other bitch on the ring and scares the shit out of Leon and Raph, can touch his calfs with his neck that kind of stuff. And he doesn't run, he travels back to 1955 to save Marty McFly ass.

~Has a lot of scars. Leon is very active as Miguel but he is a troublemaker. Got several scars from fights: face, knees, knuckles, arms, legs. And that one time he came running to get his juice, slipped and smashed into the stove glass.

~Has wavy thick hair, keeps the top messy and fluffy and the rest shorter, undercut typo.

~LEON. USES. GLASSES. Period. But don't use em regulary, mainly cuz he's so active and sometimes clumsy and would rather not buy glasses everytime he goes out.

(Donnie, probably): "Leon, why don't you use your glasses? You are making your eyes even smaller trying to read that sign"

~Loves stripes in his clothing. In any shape and thickness.

~Low-key uses Donnie button up shirts because he does think Donnie looks so well in em, but he's a little more broad than him (Thicc bacc, bicc arms) so he had tear some up, or pop a button or too.

~Guy who would wear anything and don't give a shit if he doesn't have a defined style. One day he's with that graphic tee, flashy bermudas and some sandals and the other day using some jeans, saggy big sweater, a beret and some fine boots.

~ Loves boots more than sneakers. Got good traction with em. But no one can replace las CHANCLAS i'm telling you, he's so comfortable flipping & flopping.

~ He's hairy. Really hairy. Don't shave, except the faice. He's got that baby face and the trace of where the beard could be. It ain't that thick sandpaper beard aftershave tho, Raph taught him the tricks to the silk road.

~Them sideburns tho, neAT-O.

~He ain't got former training, just some random stuff he's learned from Donnie and Raph. Nontheless, he's the trickster and can go dirty on fighting just to save his ass. But sometimes, his big mouth saves his dumb ass from trouble. (2/100 times, the other 98 times it makes it worse)

~Plus: He's into parkour a lot. Takes Mikey out so he can tag some walls uphigh. These trips are the reason he gets in fights more than his other brothers, he's gotta stick out for his brother in case shit goes down, but mostly because he's a loudmouth and sometimes he deserves it cuz he starts the fire tbh.

The thing goes RAP - PHA - PHA

~ Raph, my soft boy. He still BIG™, ain't ripped like a physiculturist, gotta admit, abs are in fact chocolate abs but got a chunky yet funky tone to it. Big ass arms, to strong to carry my depression and smash all my worries.

~ Obviously African-American, I just imagine this warm undertone to his skin. Thick eyebrows (plucks out his unibrow, and nothing more, that natural angled eyebrow perfect as it is).

~ Hairy complexion (but not as hairy as Leo) to pull out a balbo beard, faded to his hair, then starts the faded high top, (not that high tho) with that cotton natural hair (raph is just my dream tbh).

~ My boy rocks denim everything. But got this particular worn off denim jacket he treats like one of his extremities. It's kinda saggy, old, several splashes of god knows what substances... But he wears it like the most precious thing, his brothers got him for his birthday, selling candy bars and other sweet goodies. Made him cry like a bitch.

~ Snaggletooth fang. I got this random HC that Raph got it in a fight with one of his brothers when he was younger. His first tooth after his decidious teeth, he was so happy, finally "maturing" in his words. In his younger years he struggled a LOT with angry issues, (mainly, as the oldest, he understood a little big more about the rejection above the city for mutants, and built up this feeling of despite).

One day, one of his brothers made him really fucking angry, they got in a physical fight, that ended with his crooked fang, but yet, Raph is BIG and he can't measure his strenght sometimes. Then, his brother is crying in pain, screaming how bad can he treat his brother, as if he didn't love them, just as the people above.

He wasn't angry cuz the teeth (cuz he showed it off, like it made him an adult already), he broke down because he was always feeling so damn angry, being the oldest and yet he was beating their younger siblings over some dumb shit and treated them like people in the surface would. Raph is challenged each day, when he sees his face in the mirror, with the tooth projecting outwards as reminder of all the rage he had to let go to protect their brothers, to make a change on his perspective and emotions, to keep their family and himself happy.

I think this mind set change was the thing that settled Raph as a leader. He got stronger, not physicially, but mentally and emocionally, for the sake of his family.

This HC can be translated somehow to the Human AU but i'm not sure the origin of Raph's rage yet.

~ Would wear any shirt that has anything he likes, PLUS if it is in red. He just loves red. He's the only one obvious with their color preference. Red caps, shirts, jackets, pants and tons of sneakers.

~ Likes jeans but loves that kind of bermuda cut shorts and not all the way down pants. He's got some C A L F S with capitals.

~ Luckily, he does wear matching socks. (We can't see Don's most of the time but Raph shows more leg so).

~Wrist wrist wrist wrist wrist wrist. Loves wrist accesories and probably would wrap around anything on his wrist.

~He's got that classic™ Rock Lee from Naruto bandages from training and work out and sometimes he's just to tired to take off the shin pads.

~Don't show em much but got some big ass brass knuckles in his pockets in case someone messes the fuck up with his brothers. (He would easily let go if it was just him, he's a master of templance, but be warned: not with his family)

Plus: Got one tatto, in his back, below the neck, this celtic rune (we know that celtic runes have several meanings, so he took one with various that would fit him) a Gebo, that can mean partnership, generosity and sacrifice.

DONNA TELL EM

~ For starts, Donnie is my asian bean. Creamy pale skin, monolid eyes, with that puffy under eyelid, of course noticeable dark circles, but he got that EYESMILE BOI. (You know that people who kept straight face but the eyes are just screaming happiness??? That kind of eyesmile)

~ Hair black, thin, straight cut (his hair is kinda wavy) at his shoulder's lenght, got that fade styling in the back tho, usually wrapped in a high ponytail/bun. (Mikey loves to mess with his hair).

~ He's got that thin eyebrow hair, so, he fills em up to make them thicker, so gives him more of an assertive feature. (Also he is jealous of Leo and Raph eyebrows, nontheless edge so sharp to cut a bitch) Got that hairless complexion so not much about facial hair.

~ Obviously keeps them THIGHS™. (So far, to me their complexion on the show is the same as in the human AU so... ) Jeans were invented to the sole purpose to fit Donnie so well.

~To wear, jeans are a go to, but damn sweatpants comfy AF. Big old sweatshirts, swearters and hoodies. Underneat, digs button shirts, short or long, never with flashy prints, yet some minor deco, (to him is all in the elegance....). Raph and Donnie share an interest on sneakers, so he can wear like 1 hoodie for 10 days straight but a different sneaker each.

~But wears missmatched socks like the fuck out of here BOI, looking neat and clean and you come out with this yeeyee ass bullshit.

~ Donnie hides the fact that he's riPPED under the hoodies and sweatpants often, (he's tall as shit and his brothers calling him spagethi bOI don't help much) so people make the assumption he's the weakest of his brothers. He's the only graduated on black belt on Karate and knows his shit on MMA. On his younger years he was indeed saved many times by Raph's strenght, Mikey's swiftyness and Leon's cunning. This "being the weak" complex got to his head and started training solo. His brothers are amazed of Donnie's self-improvement and he often disguises it as the "i did it so i wouldnt be the weakest, you better watch out when i supass yall" but they all know he suffered inmensely seeing his brothers hurt because of him, so if they go down he does too, to protect them.

Plus: Complementary headphones with neon designs, blasting nightcore, dubstep and DnB songs with every Donnie purchased.

BG:

In my AU, these kids grew up really poor. They learned the value of hardwork since they were really young. Like in the Teetle Universe, people see them as misfits. Especially, because they are a "patched up family" (they are not blood related) and being looked down by the economic factor, mostly.

They got some real internal issues. But, the only thing that keeps them sane is how tight their brotherhood is.

Donnie and Raph have a job and go to college. Struggle a lot with their younger siblings rebellious stage.

Leon and Mikey go to highschool and do some baked goodies or art comissions to have some sort of income. Ain't fond of school that much, real troublemakers.

April it's a freshman in college and has much more accomodated life, but somehow, she's always felt she doesn't belong to anywhere, until she meet our boys. April learns a lot of life hardships while hanging out with em.

This would be, basically the series:

April meets this guys, this is sort of a slice of life anime, with lots of comedy and fun shots, however it develops around April learning valuable lessons that will help her as an adult, about friendship, loyalty, respect, empathy and kindness, after all the things the boys are going through.

I'm not sure how am I gonna accomodate Splinter in this, but eventually I'll figure it out.

I'm not got at drawing but i'm gonna try to make some of their designs.
