Being that he's stubborn he would never take you fighting back as a final answer, he's far from the giving up type. He will persist.

Took him about three tries to get you in his grasp, he was never the type to use any sort of force on you and thats why it took him so long. But third times the charm and he unfortunately had to use force.

One second you were walking alone and suddenly your grabbed by your roots and now you're trapped his basement. You were so scared you had blacked out and can't remember half of what he did to get you there.

Definitely has a fucked up savior complex, he sees himself as your hero and the world as a force tearing you two apart. He was protecting you.

When you're finally in your new 'home', you spent an entire week crying and begging him to let you out, and for that week he would stand by the staircase and simply watch you get adjusted to your life.

At first he couldn't believe he had the person of his dreams in his home, thats why all he did was watch. He thought you were too good to be true, you were his angel in disguise.

Once he got more comfortable he started with small visits siuch as delivering food to you and then it escalated to forced acts of affection such as hand holding and kissing.

Forget about even trying to fight for your freedom, he can easily overpower you and he always reminds you of that.

i've been consuming tumblr content for over five years now (through pinterest) but it wasn't until like a month ago that i actually started using the app, and so i know the language but not the "etiquette", so to speak. and that mixed with my autism means i'm fucking lost here

so like i've just been liking any post that incites a positive emotion on me, like that's the criteria, if it made me laugh or taught me something or i think its important or interesting... whatever, i like it, done

that way i don't fall into the comfortability of the opposite, that is, i don't know when to like so i never do it

but sometimes there are posts that are personal to OP, they be expressing a feeling or talking about what they going through or smth, and i don't know what to do... but i like it, not because i get any positive emotion from it, but because when i see someone speaking into the void, i want them to know that at least someone in the void is listening, silently accompanying them, even if i have nothing to say or add or any way to help, i know i’d want to know that there is someone listening, so i like the post

I am now in LOVE with the 'murphys are secret vampires' idea. It sounds amazing, even from the short summary!

Well, I’m never gonna finish it, so, here, have the opening scene.

It is by sheer coincidence that Evan gets paired up with Zoe Murphy for the ancestry project in their history class.

It’s by sheer coincidence that Zoe Murphy is the girl who he’s had a crush on since he first saw her, in Freshman year.

It’s by sheer coincidence that she’s really fucking gay, and definitely not interested in him.

“Who’s this?” Evan asks, pulling an old, dusty photograph out of a box, its frame tarnished.

They’re checking out old stuff in her attic - Zoe had said there might be something there worth looking at, so they may as well check it out.

The picture is old, the brown kind of black-and-white, vintage. It’s a portrait of a boy, his hair cropped short around his ears, waistcoat half-unbuttoned, looking the most relaxed he’s seen anyone in those types of pictures. And he’s smiling. He has a nice smile. His eyes crinkle, and there are dimples in his cheeks. His eyes are focused on the camera, so the pure happiness in them is hard not to see.

Zoe leans over his shoulder and grimaces. “James Connor Murphy. That’s from 1912. Went missing two years later, I think.” She takes the photo from his hands and dusts it off on her shirt. “One of two children, and almost wiped out the Murphy line, altogether. Mom says he got drafted in the war, so he ran away.”

“Where to?” Evan inquires, leaning over her shoulder to get a better look at the picture.

Zoe’s perfume smells like jasmine.

“Who knows? They never saw or heard from him, again, and they never found a body, no matter how hard they looked.” Zoe drops the photograph back in the box, apparently uncaring about this intriguing part of her family. It smacks into a couple other picture frames. “He just disappeared off the face of the planet. Vanished. Poof. Gone.”

“That’s crazy.” Evan states, and goes to his knees by the box so he can keep looking through it.

Zoe nods, and starts digging through an ornate dresser, against the wall. “It is.” She agrees.

“They lived in town?” Evan asks, pulling a larger photo out of the box, this time a full family portrait. James Connor Murphy and an older man with grey hair and a styled moustache stand behind a chaise lounge, where two women are seated, sitting up straight. One of the women is obviously older, light hair pulled back in a stern bun. The girl sitting beside her looks a little more relaxed, and looks the happiest in the picture, which is curious, considering the last portrait. The girl looks a lot like Zoe. James looks put out.

All of the people in the photo look quite a lot like Zoe’s family.

“Yeah, man.” Zoe says, and Evan looks away from the family portrait, to looks up at her. She nods to the picture in his hands. “That was right after the town had been founded, actually, so there must have been a lot more wilderness then, than there is today. He could’ve easily died in the forest and been eaten by some wolves or something.”

Evan sets the picture down beside the box and rummages more. It’s clear Zoe doesn’t want to focus on that part of her family. “What if he didn’t, though?” He says.

“And what would he have done instead?” She closes the dresser and turns to face him, leaning on it. “Claimed a large fortune from a guy on a boat and hosted large parties in New York City, just to see if one girl would show up?”

Evan laughs and raises an eyebrow. “Are you trying to pass off a missing ancestor as The Great Gatsby?” He asks.

“Maybe.” Zoe says, shrugging, jokingly. She joins him by the box, and goes digging.

“Well, at least he’s not Huckleberry Finn.” Evan says, and Zoe pulls out another portrait. This one of the girl who looks like her from the family photograph. Like Connor’s it’s much more casual, and she’s laughing, a flush in her cheeks. Unlike the other photo, she’s wearing a dress that looks to be early 1920’s fashion, and her hair is snug under a close-fitting hat. Evan wonders if she and James were close. Wonders why they both look so miserable in the family photograph.

“True.” Zoe agrees, and pulls out a photograph of the other woman from the family portrait. “Now, let’s keep digging. There’s gotta be someone more interesting in my family than great great great uncle James.”

“Yeah.” And Evan tries not to focus on the similarities between James and Zoe’s older brother, Connor.
