Current sims 3 household ramblings
I recently got back into my current household (which for me is whatever household I'm doing multiple generations with and not my newest save). We started of with Ryab, a typo of Ryan but it was too funny to not keep, and Danica Leone. The only rule for this household was that every time either of them had the want to have a baby they'd, well, have a baby. The name theme for the kids was alphabetical and nature. They had 6 kids before they got divorced.
They got divorced because Ryab got abducted and impregnated by an alien and Danica couldn't deal with that (it's been awhile so I dont fully remember the story telling of it all). They got divorced, Danica kept the five kids (their eldest Aspen was an adult and already moved out) and Ryab took his daughter Geranium.
Ryab had enough lifetime wish points and got a genie lamp. I think he wished for wealth, I dont remember the second one, and then the third for the genie to be freed. In this time Ryab and the genie started dating apparently. Ryab got abducted for a third time and is pregnant with another alien baby.
And Geranium wants to kiss her sisters boyfriend which is a different beast entirely

obsessed with the woman on you, me, & my ex who cheated on her husband with their nextdoor neighbor, divorced her husband, married that neighbor, and is clearly in love with her now-husband's ex-wife

Not sure how widely recognized this is but it’s fucking wild to me that miss kui just quietly snuck in the fact that most (if not all) of the differences between races only exist because of wishes they made to the Winged Lion.
Dwarves being strong? Lion wish. Elves being good at magic? Lion wish. All lifespan differences???? Lion wish, babey!
Not that the elves superiority shtick isn’t already BS, but it’s even funnier with the context that the only difference between them and humans is that, thousands of years ago, their leaders made a greedier wish to the demon that wanted to eat them.

What do you think of Rook's savanaclaw card? <333
I didn't get him (and I need to save my keys for Silver's birthday, sob) so I looked up his groovy, and I'm not over how incredibly dramatic and epic and cool it looks in direct contrast to the absolutely ridiculous context. just look at that dynamic action and his majestic sparkling tears and keep in mind that this is pretty much right after a bunch of characters have been dance battling for his soul.
and then even the actual moment of the groovy is just like
this is NOT a negative in the slightest, I love it all, this truly was an incredible update in so many ways

Do you think I'd give up?
That this might've shook the love from me
Or that I was on the brink
How could you think, darlin', I'd scare so easily?

i’m forever going crazy over the fact that Zelda used to think she was nothing as a person bc she couldn’t awaken her sealing power when every eye of hyrule was on her and she couldn’t protect them and her own father even had her believing that. so when she met sonia and rauru (even true with urbosa) and they gave her the guidance and comfort she needed to freely use her powers on her own schedule that when she was able to blast away those moldugas with ease that she was in disbelief of herself bc she didn’t think she was capable of doing that. so when she made the choice to turn into a dragon to restore the master sword, it was her final message to herself and the future of hyrule that she wouldn’t let herself be nothing (like she was always told she was) by that final selfless act of love for her kingdom and im a mess about it
