🎀30 Day Glow Up Challenge 🎀 - day one

♡ Mindset : I’ve been reading “The Power Of One More” and honestly it is a life changing book I definitely recommend. The author did a interview with Jay Shetty and he immediately got me I found his book the same day lol. In the first chapter he speaks about how you have to let go of your past identity to get to who you truly want to be no amount of skills you learn and book you read will help if you don’t change your identity. In this 30 day glow up challenge I am working on the things I want to change to get closer to my higher self. I haven’t journaled in a long time and today I picked up my journal and journaled 3 things I’m grateful for. I forgot to say my affirmations sadly<333

♡ Health : I didn’t get to meal prep so I went to key foods and picked up lunch I kept it on track with my meal . Im so dedicated to getting to my best self before summer I want this body to be teaaaa lol. I don’t workout on Mondays and Fridays but I did a HIIT workout at home after work I felt so good after.

♡ Self Care : I applied my morning skin care products, I was so lazyyy to do my nightly skin care but I did it anyway which I’m proud of and I’ve been doing research on hydrafacials I def plan on getting one soon. I’ve also been interested in red light therapy for my skin as well. I’ll update you girliessss<333

♡ Experience : I’ve been working on some of my hobbies and I’ve been growing new friendships I’ve met a lot of really nice girls especially on campus and becoming social was apart of my goals this semester and I’ve been putting myself out there.

Overall today was super good very relaxing and the weather was amazing which added to the mood I posted day one of the challenge but these posts will be weekly instead of daily because of my schedule<3333

Ray is more hardworking, no denial! He leaves no stone unturned to make his precious redhead feel like a Goddess. Since he's good in cooking too, Salima often remains unperturbed and relaxed regarding the household chores. Ray always gives her a princess treatment (But it doesn't mean that Salima is veryyyy lazyyy). She also helps Ray a lot in the domestic chores and others.

A mushy, bubbly, round-eyed, round-faced......baby tiger! Since they both wield tiger-type bit-beasts, so a tiger (I know that it's a wayyyy exotic pet) will suit them both as a pet.

Anyways no I don't hehe. When I write I just fire up old reliable 48HR long playlist I've been adding to since I was 14, playing super quietly, just skipping around for songs that fit The Vibe. My favorite music is sad lo-fi that makes me feel like a dead person so it fits most of the time.

I have some specific songs that really make me think of IPH tho... Goodbye to a World by Porter Robinson (A LOT of his songs would probably fit tbh) Gemini by Evergreen, Milk by Jack Stauber, Happiness by Starry Cat... I should probably just make a playlist but I'm lazyyy XDDD

I also really dig those moody electronic instrumentals... this feeling and distorted memories by øneheart come to mind. They're like realizing you're alone for the first time in your life. I love ambiance that makes me feel like I'm decaying. Yeah. Y'know???

Hey, sorry, I was just rereading one of the roblogs we did (the one with the Shadow Soldiers) & was reminded that you needed a reason for the Wolfbred to be in the Depths.

And I guess that I forgot to tell you about my Liminal Depths theory, because I think that that would be a dang good way for you to explain it.

This theory revolves around how I believe it is that the 3 timelines were able to re-merge. It takes information from Wind Waker & Hyrule Warriors mostly. And I use this information as a way to piece things together & explain why the Depths are the way that they are.

But I believe that you said that you haven't played Wind Waker yet, so I'm hesitant to talk about it.

Something about the Depths being the flooded Old Hyrule and the Hyrule in BotW being the land the Deku Tree successfully recreated?

We talked about it a little bit when we talked about the location of Ordon Village, but not super in depth.

But yeah, I either need to make a reason for Wolfbred ghosts (Midna Marie and Ordon specifically, but others will work too) to be gallavanting in the Depths, or write in that all the Wolfbred's afterlife beliefs are incorrect and that they get sent to the Depths after death, not to Hylia or the Twilight Realm. (The latter I don't really want to do because a) depressing to say the least b) I'd have to redo a bunch of the historical/mythological worldbuilding stuff I've done behind the scenes for the Exile Era and I'm lazyyy 😂)

"AHHHHH" you heard from the bathroom that your sister was in,your mom and dad both turned to look at the door Ming your mom,rushed to the door and knocked "Mei Mei is everything ok? Are you feeling sick??!!" She worriedly questioned both you and your father locked eye contact in worry some, "did the..did the red peony bloom..?" You heard your mother say as your father and you crept closer to the door where your mother was "uh maybe?" You heard Mei say, your mother quickly pulled away and ran to get a box "Jin! It's happening!" She said panicked.

You stood their in udder shock not really knowing what to say, you quickly went to the kitchen to grab your breakfast and take it to your room,if their was one thing you knew it's that when your mom was mad,or even freaking out it was best to stay out of the way, especially when her 'favorite' kid was having a moment.

You ate breakfast in your room while getting ready for school,you heard alot of everything that was happening with Ming and Mei and your father,you just stayed out of it.

But there was definitely a favorite twin, and it wasn't you.

Your dad loved you no matter what, it didn't matter what Mark you got on a test it didn't matter to him what grade he just wanted to see you happy and doing what you loved..you were close with him,you always helped him cook,that was something both of you enjoyed! You sometimes spend time with your mom but it felt like she always judged you you could tell she wasn't proud she tried to act like she was but it was kind of obvious..

"Mei..you in here?" You asked going in to your sisters room,she was in there..but,there was a huge PANDA "Mei Mei??!! Is that you??!!" You said going in her room and going up to the creature that was wrapped in the blanket "*sniff* yeah.." she said sitting up, she was HUGE "Mei Mei..what happened???" You asked going over to her and touching her arm that was covered in red fur "well Uhm, apparently our ancestor blessed us with the ability to turn into red pandas with emotions..and,and the only way to get rid of it is with the red moon and that isn't for another month and I don't know what to do!!!" She said crying while talking to you,you hugged her as you felt bad..but you were shocked,why hadn't your parents told you guys about this red panda curse!! It didn't make sense... "It's gonna be ok Mei.." you said hugging her "no it's not y/n! You don't know that because your not a panda!" She said with irritation in her voice, it stung a bit but you knew she was struggling with herself right now.. "I know Mei Mei,but look at you,your so fluffy!" You said pulling away and playing with her tail, "no!it's not gonna be ok, I'm a gross red monster! Just leave!!" She said with slight poison in her voice, you looked at her shocked but she showed just anger.. you moved your hand and left..you walked to your room,not before turning around to see her go back to crying.

You sighed closing the door in her room walking slowly to your room "oh y/n! There you are!" Ming said quickly walking up to you "how was school y/n!"she said smiling at you as she hugged you, you were a tad bit shocked and a bit weirded out since most the time she never asked you how your day was she always assumed it was you never did your work or you just did nothing.. She never really asked you.. you sat on your bed and pulled out your book you were reading,you sighed and started reading.

"Y/n! Mei Mei! Dinner!!" Ming yelled from the kitchen, "ok!" You said marking your page in your book and leaving the room, you walked out and saw dad and mom sitting at the table getting ready to eat, "ah y/n! Here,I dished you up already!" Mom said putting the plate on your part of the table that you usually sat at "thank you..Uhm,Is Mei going to join us?" You asked getting some food on your fork and putting it in your mouth "ah no..she's not feeling well.." Ming said sitting down along with your dad as they both started eating,it was quite, usually mom and dad always talk to Mei Mei about her classes and what she's doing in class and her marks she got etc.. "so y/n,fill me in! What did you do in your classes today!" Mom said looking at you with sweet eyes "Uhm,it was good! I had art..math.. science.. gym..and oh! I had a band test today!" You said remembering the test! "Oh? How did you do!" She said sounding proud.. "I got a b+!" You said smiling..then dropping the smile after you said b+,it wasn't an A but, mom and dad both looked so proud! "Oh y/n that's amazing! I'm so proud of you!" Your mom said putting on the worst fake smile ever.

Your father tho seemed proud! You were stunned tho,Ming lee,your mother,who always had a word or two to say when you didn't get an A, but this time,she was she's proud! You knew she wasn't,but it felt good to hear her voice say that.. coming from her made you feel good..even if it wasn't real,it wasn't negative.. "oh! What about math,how's that going???" She asked "Uhm..fine" you said,not saying the truth,you got your test back it was a -D you even studded for it!! But you didn't get a sharp mark.. "any new test scores??" She asked genuinely curious with a bit of Hope in her voice seeming that you did better than your band test "Uhm...yeah..uh,I got it back today.." you said looking at your plate in shame.

"Well!" She said pushing you to say.. "it wasn't a good mark.. -D" you said in shame.. you looked to see your mom faking the biggest smile she could "oh y/n dear,you did better then the last test! Good job!" She said in a sharp voice, trying to seem proud but not at all..

"Oh y/n there you are!" Mom said pulling in for a big hug, she had been so touchy with you this past week since thing with Mei happened..in fact,she pulled away from Mei.. she didn't even look at her the same way she did.. "yes mom?" You said hugging back.. "I was just gonna say I'm proud of you.." she said drawing her words picking what to say, trying to be proud trying to become the proud mother she was to Mei, "mom.." you said pulling away,you had enough,it was only one week,but you didn't like it,she was showing you the love she never really gave,Mei was getting mad at you all because you were getting praised and she wasn't,Mei felt like her mother hated her and moved on to you.. Mei Mei even started to pull away from you,she didn't say good morning,she gave you a stink eye when you said good morning, she gave you the death glare during supper,she didn't like the taste you had put in her mouth "why are you doing this.." you said looking at Ming in the eyes.

"Why?? Because your my child! And I'm York mother,I'm supposed to love you!" She said smiling "then why did you never show me it before.." you asked feeling a lump in your throat,she went quiet.. "is it because Mei is a panda?" You asked looking up at her "is it because she isn't the same?!" You said raising your voice "is it because you realized that you have another kid??!!" You said, tears falling from your eyes as the lump in your throat had been released, Ming looked at you shocked at your words.. "I have never been good enough for you..but now, just starting to realize that I try..you still aren't proud..you wanna be but Mei has set the standards so high that not even Einstein himself can reach it!" You yelled as your face became red with tears "I always wanted you to say you were proud,and that you loved me,but now,all because your little Mei Mei isn't all perfect now you move to me!" She looked at you with sadness in her eyes..she knew what she did to you..and wanted to apologize for it.. "so,mom,stop trying to act like you are proud of me..I know your embarrassed of me.." you said with anger and poison in your voice you walked off to your room,not before throwing open Mei's door and yelling "HEY MRS PERFECT! COME GET MOM I DON'T WANT HER" you said as Mei looked shocked at your words you walked quickly to your room before closing the door, leaning on the back of the door sliding down into the floor,you brought your knees to your chest before you started crying.. "I'm not gonna pretend your proud when your not.." you said in between sobs..
