It’s just so classic. Kate has been a major part of their narrative for 2 years and all of a sudden they’re sending her well wishes like they actually care if she’s well or not… I’m not saying they wish any physical harm on her because they very clearly do not, but come on. AND, if they’re going to insist on wishing her well, that’s all fine and dandy, but no need to leak it. It makes them look bad, and they don’t need to look any worse than they already do when it comes to their relationship with Kate.

secret invasion spoilers this ending is complete bullshit. i can't even express how FURIOUS i feel. it makes no sense and completely betrays maria hill's character. i know the mcu takes liberties with the comics they're based on, but this goddamn scene is just nonsensical. in the comics, maria played a crucial role in the skrull invasion. fucking hell, she even killed her own skrull impersonator and became the director of s.h.i.e.l.d. while fury was on the fucking moon. marvel and the writers are nothing but cowards for killing her off in the first episode. it's clear they don't understand her character and never even tried. they just got rid of her so they wouldn't have to bother including her in future projects. a bunch of fucking cowards.

So after the patch and updating all the mods that are confirmed viable and available, 3/5 of my saves have gotten corrupted 🙃

Fortunately I regularly back up my saves and have one from right before the For Rent patch, but now I’m scared that the game is going to somehow corrupt those as well.

2/3 of the corrupted saves are the Orsons. This happened with my Strand family saves as well, after the Infant update IIRC. Just every save I’d try to load got corrupted until I just stopped playing altogether for most of the rest of spring.

So yeah, I’m carefully going through everything and the second I find an Orson save that will actually load all the way, I’m gonna back up the household in their current state so that if worse comes to worst I can just upload them in a brand spanking new save file.

Got liiiiike 2 more weeks of Orson posts in the queue in the meantime but I’m going to be so mad if what happened to the Strands happens to the Orsons.
