i had the good luck to be in an "advanced" program for a year (grade 9) with one of the upshots being an excellent english/program teacher.
one of the first assignments was a short story where the protagonist was a guy about our age living in a small town. at this late stage (i've been out of school a very long time) i don't remember the plot really, other than it ended with the protagonist and his best friend sitting in a diner, ordering a hamburger or something from a waitress.
we all read it, we had to write one of our first essays of the class on what we felt the central theme of the story was, and then the teacher graded them and then read a couple of the 'best' ones out loud to the class the next day.
then he helped us deconstruct the entire story. blackboards and chalk and that meme of the guy with string going everywhere, only with drawn boxes and arrows.
dudes, that protagonist was lying through his teeth the entire time. everything he told us was distorted, warped like a funhouse mirror to suit HIS narrative, HIS feelings, HIS interpretation of the events. The diner scene at the end was where all of his lies were suddenly revealed for what they were, providing a lens to review the entire story for what it wasn't.
i'd been hoodwinked. i hadn't caught ANY of the underlying subtext, that the story-as-presented on the surface had very little connection to the story-as-it-probably-was. i was, in a nutshell, kinda blown away at the technical skill of the writer to DO that, as well as my teacher for being able to walk us through it, and the entire class got to discuss all the major points both for and against the protagonist's viewpoint. it was *fun*, as english classes never are.
then we had to do another essay on the same story, this time explaining a single plot point of our choice on why the writer had chose to present it the way they had, and how it reflected through and onto the character, putting our new knowledge to use of how what hadn't actually been said was the most important part to pay attention to.
it's stuck with me my entire life. i have a hard time with most media (television in particular) because most stories as presented are puddle deep and there's not so much motivation going on as there is the need to tell a story that has no intricacies; because we've largely seem to have forgotten that nobody *really* tells the truth, *especially* not to ourselves, but tv sure would like to pretend that we do.
"but the text never explicitly stated it!!!" hey, so that's actually what they tried to teach you in those english classes you barely passed 😁

friends, countrymen. if you feel the urge to go to the chiropractor because your body aches, you do not want a chiropractor, you want a massage.
“but fish” you may say. “that sounds. scary” it’s not. if you really have an aversion to people touching you, at all, ever, maybe this isn’t for you. but a chiropractor isn’t for you either, because they also touch you a lot. In the case that you think you’d be chill with it for an hour, im going to describe in detail more or less what to expect at a massage appointment.
-
why not a chiropractor?
we’re not going to get into it, but a chiropractor tries to put your bones back in alignment. This is functionally useless if your tight muscles are pulling on your bones in the first place! They’ll just go back to being achy and out of alignment within the week. You need to be addressing the root of the problem. a massage may not fix it (sorry. it takes work on your part), but it may help your muscles relax so you can train them to chill out and sit in their correct spots. plus it feels nice. if you feel like you need something more intense, go for a deep pressure therapy massage. it digs into your sore muscles without the danger of a chiropractor.
what does the room look like?
in most cases, when a massage parlor has an official building, the massage room is a small dim-ish room with one massage table, maybe a chair, and some cubbies or cabinets either for the masseuse's tools or for your clothes. there may be decorations, candles, fake candles, little speakers, a mirror, or pillows. the massage table looks like a little twin mattress with a donut pillow sticking out the top and blankets covering the mattress. The table is also usually heated, and you can adjust the heat by asking for it.
what stuff is also there?
smells there are smells in there, usually woody, floral, or natural scents like cedar, eucalyptus, lavender, chamomile, or peppermint. sometimes you get to choose your smells. if there's a smell you don't like (eg lavender, which makes me sneeze), politely ask not to use that one. very few massage parlors have no smells at all, but I've found that most places aren't nearly as overwhelming as, say, a bath and body works, which sucks to be in.
music or nature sounds. think stereotypical soft spa music. I've never encountered a situation where the music bothered me, but you can also request to change it.
lotions and/or oils they go on your body, because rubbing your hands against your skin for a long time without a buffer irritates your skin! they are where most of the smells comes from, if there's not a diffuser in the room. again, if a smell is bad, politely request to not use that smell. the oils may also get in your hair or on your underclothes, if you keep them on.
warm things sometimes the masseuse will use warm things, like warm towels or warm rocks, on you. they're usually nice in the same way a hot tub is nice - a little hot at first, and then warm. if they use a warm towel, it's probably going on your feet or back or neck. warm rocks will usually go on your back. I've never encountered warm rocks but they're in the promo pictures so, i suppose you'd need to do something other than a deep pressure therapy massage to get warm rocks.
some talking at the beginning, the masseuse may instruct you to take some deep breaths and relax, like the beginning of a meditation. she will usually not keep talking the entire time unless you're talkative. I often fall asleep.
what am I expected to do?
you'll enter the room, the masseuse will ask you what you want her to focus on, and she'll leave for a few minutes to let you undress. You can undress to your comfort level, but I usually at least decide to go topless, because it helps them reach my back better and my upper back hurts. once you're as comfortable as you can be, slide in under the blankets (both blankets if there's two) on the table and leave only your head poking out. if she doesn't tell you to start on your back or stomach, pick one, doesn't often matter.
you are fully expected to let her know at the beginning if there are areas you don't want her touching, and you're expected to let her know if she's going too hard or too gentle on your muscles. her goal is your comfort and relief!
then what happens?
chillax for a while. the masseuse will move around the table, addressing your muscles bit by bit. usually, they'll start with a scalp massage, and then move down. aside from massaging you, she will often move your limbs around, tuck the blanket around you, or put things like rolled towels or pillows under you at times. you are just supposed to lay there, relax, and let her do so.
good massage feels like anywhere from a nice backrub to that good sore you feel poking a bruise or moving after working out real hard. it should not actively hurt -- let him know it hurts if it does.
what do I do after?
when she leaves the room to let you redress, do that, and then go meet her in the lobby to pay her (if you haven't already) or for a brief touch base. if this is like, a fancy resort massage, they'll have a whole dressing room you're supposed to go back to, so you won't see your masseuse again. he's probably washing up.
drink water! often they'll give you some water afterwards. It's because loosening your tight muscles opens them up to water your body wants to give them anyways, so you might get a little dehydrated.
eat a snack with vitamins in it, like nuts or fruit. if you had a massage that really beat you up (I asked for this a few times while recovering from an injury), take an advil too. Normally, you won't need pain reliever even a little bit.
if it was nice, leave a little tip.
miscellaneous tips
if this is your first time, go for the shortest option so you can see if you like it or not. often, they'll have a first time client discount.
don't be afraid to fall asleep or snore or anything. they don't care.
they also shouldn't care about your body type. To be polite, take a shower at least the night before going in, but I guarantee they couldn't care less about what you look like, only that your muscles are stiff.
don't be too annoyed if you asked for neck and shoulders and the masseuse is hanging out at your feet. remember to specify exactly what you want at the beginning, but your muscles are all connected, and your legs are probably tight too.
try to find an independent company. massage envy might be good for a first attempt if you're worried about them pushing too hard, but they aren't as good or personalized as some guy who's been doing this for 40 years.
when you lay on your stomach, stick your face in the donut pillow in a way that lets your face stick out the hole, but try not to line the middle of your neck up with the edge of the bed. it's a little uncomfy.
you are fully within your rights to wear a mask during your massage.
please tell them your allergies! especially if it's to coconut oil!

5 Reasons NOT to Use Multiple Point of View (and What to Do Instead)
I've been meaning to make this post for a long time. As a developmental editor, I see a LOT of manuscripts that use multiple point of view (where each scene or chapter is from the perspective of a different character), when they really should be using a classic single character POV. Over the years, I've come to the conclusion that writers see multiple POV as a solution to problems that really shouldn't be solved that way. Basically, they're using it for the wrong reasons. And when that happens, instead of making the story more awesome, multiple POV can actually weaken it.
Here are five of the most common reasons writers choose multiple POV (and why those reasons might be a problem). Don’t worry—I’ll also share what to do instead.
1. You Don’t Know What Your Story Is About
Sometimes, when writers aren’t 100% clear on their story’s main conflict, theme, or plot, they reach for multiple POV. It feels like a fix—after all, why focus on one perspective when you can try out a little of this and a little of that?
Here’s the thing: multiple POV actually requires you to be more clear about your story, not less. Readers will naturally look for a thread that ties all the perspectives together, and if that thread isn’t there, the story will feel scattered or aimless.
What to Do Instead: Take a step back. If you’re feeling unsure about what your story is really about, try some journaling or outlining. Ask yourself:
What’s the main conflict?
Who’s the central character?
Why am I telling this story?
Often, writers discover they actually have one protagonist, and a limited third or first-person perspective would work better. If you still feel like multiple POV is the right call, go for it! Just be sure to periodically revisit your outline to make sure the story hasn’t “gotten away” from you. (Multiple POV has a sneaky way of doing that.)
2. You Haven’t Developed Your Characters
Multiple POV doesn’t work unless each character is fully developed. Every POV character needs their own voice, journey, and reason for being in the story. If they can’t stand on their own, readers will notice.
What to Do Instead: Before assigning a POV, ask yourself:
Is this character compelling enough to hold the reader’s attention?
Do they add something essential to the story that no one else can?
If the answer is no, it might be better to stick with a single POV. Sometimes less is more.
3. You Can’t Decide on a POV Character
This one is common, especially in early drafts. You’re still figuring out your story, and it’s hard to choose whose perspective should take center stage.
What to Do Instead: Experiment! Write key scenes from different characters’ perspectives. Often, the strongest voice will make itself known as you go. And remember: just because you write a draft with multiple POV doesn’t mean you can’t narrow it down later.
4. You Need to Share Information Your POV Character Doesn’t Have
Ah, the classic "But how do I show this thing the protagonist doesn’t know?" dilemma. This is probably the most common reason I see writers reach for multiple POV. It’s tempting to throw in a chapter or two from another character’s perspective just to share that extra bit of information.
The problem? Those chapters often feel disconnected from the rest of the story. Every POV character needs to carry their weight, and dropping in a random narrator just for convenience can leave readers feeling unsatisfied.
What to Do Instead: There are other ways to get information across. Here are a few ideas:
Educated Guesses: Let your main character speculate. (“Iris kept tapping her pencil on the desk. Was she nervous about the meeting earlier?”)
Show, Don’t Tell: Use actions, dialogue, or other clues to reveal what another character might be thinking.
Bring in a New Element: Introduce a third character, a conflict, or even an object that reveals something important.
Overhearing or Spying: Yes, it’s a little cliché, but when used sparingly, it can work in a pinch.
5. You’re Looking for an Easy Way Out
Let’s be honest: multiple POV can feel like a catch-all solution to tough storytelling problems. Need to fix pacing? Add another POV! Can’t figure out how to make the ending work? Add another POV!
But here’s the truth: multiple POV is actually harder than other POVs. You’re not just developing one character—you’re developing several, and you have to tie all their perspectives into a cohesive whole.
What to Do Instead: Focus on nailing the story with a single POV first. Once you’re confident the core of the story is solid, you can decide if adding other perspectives will truly enhance it.
In Summary
Multiple POV is a powerful tool, but it’s not a shortcut. It requires careful planning and strong execution. If you’re considering it, ask yourself:
Does every POV character bring something unique to the story?
Am I clear on the main conflict and theme?
Could this story be told just as well (or better) with a single POV?
Sometimes, the simplest route is the best one.
Hope this helps!

—Dream Blooms
"I've seen you there, before."
Tumblr media
This fic was born from watching Sylus's Abyssal Blossom card and watching my heart break into a million pieces. It hurt, but then I realized you know who hasn't been hurt by it? Sylus.
Based on the prevailing theory/my headcannons that the Abyssal Blossom card was just a dream, brought on by MC's yearning for a normal, quiet life after the events of Beyond Cloudfall chapter 7.
Synopsis: Sylus invites himself over to take care of you while you're sick. You tell him about a pleasant dream of yours and proceed to break his heart. (Or, you dream of something you've dreamt before, and Sylus hears about it for the first time.)
Contains: Spoilers for Sylus's Beyond Cloudfall myth and the Abyssal Blossom card, Sylus x MC/reader, gender neutral MC/reader, angst/hurt (the comfort will come later), current timeline Sylus & MC
Word Count: 1.7k
Tumblr media
“I had a strange dream again.”
“Another one, sweetheart?”
Sylus’s voice is a soft murmur above you. You open your blurry eyes to a darkened room and a pleasantly warm body under you, wrapped around you. Your head feels as hazy as the moonlight filtering in from the cloudy night sky through the window. Half-awake and half asleep, you can still feel the sensations of your dream like phantom memories. You hum an affirmation, shaking off the vestiges of a medicine-induced sleepiness.
You’re not quite sure how you found yourself in this position: sprawled out on your couch, nestled between a warm blanket and an even warmer Sylus, breathing in the scent of him through your admittedly stuffy nose. The last thing you remember was you laying collapsed on your bed, trying to convince yourself that you’re not sick, you’re just tired from a long week at the Hunter’s Association, and to muster up the energy to find something to eat. And then, suddenly, there was Sylus, filling your doorway as he had filled every part of your life, your thoughts, and now your dreams.
You’ve been having more of those recently, ever since you absorbed the power of another Aether Core almost a year ago. Reality intertwining with illusions, the people in your life woven intricately into a tapestry of dreams. Fragments of memories, glimpses of things that could never be, or never was. Flashing scales underneath glistening waves. Zayne, in a flowing robe you’ve never seen on him before, but looked so right on him. A silent forest, illuminated by starlight. You would wake up yearning for something just out of reach, hands outstretched to capture the essence of something that slips, incorporeal, through your fingers.
This dream was gentle, though. And this time, your hands didn’t need to reach far to grasp the heart of your dreams.
“You were in it this time, Sylus.”
“Oh?” he says, sounding intrigued. “Do tell, kitten.”
You hear him place something on the coffee table—his phone, probably—his attention shifting solely to you. He carefully moves to his side, extricating himself from under you, a large hand propping his head up so he can fully face you.
The soft moonlight illuminates on his face, throwing it into relief. Silvery hair threaded with shadow, a pale complexion half shrouded in darkness, eyes like banked hearths warming you with its glow. Through the haze of your fever, you can almost envision what you saw in your dream. You lift a hand pat his soft hair, as if searching for something that wasn’t there, before trailing your fingers down the side of his face.
“You had something on your head.” No, not exactly on his head. You can’t quite remember. The you in the dream was certain that the something was more a part of him than anything else. You frown slightly. The more you strain to remember the details of it, the more awake you became, and the more it danced out of your grasp. “Something sharp and twisting. Rough. It was beautiful, though. You were beautiful.”
Sylus stares at you with wide eyes you couldn’t decipher in your current state. There’s a spark of something foreign in his eyes.
“And?” he urges on, his deep voice uncharacteristically eager to your ears. He reaches to grab the hand that was holding his face, pressing it gently to him. His thumb rubs against the back of it in small soothing motions. “Can you tell me more about this dream of yours, kitten?”
You grasp at the cotton inside your head, stuffy from sleep and sickness. It takes so much effort, to tease apart the strands and find the wisps of fading dreams. It doesn’t help that you were also fighting off the drowsiness. You try, though, to give him what he’s asking for, as he always does for you.
“We were standing in a lovely field of flowers. They were breathtaking, Sylus. Such a vivid, dazzling red. There was a black spire in the distance, I think.” The spire had stood tucked away in the backdrop of rolling hills, but it was a small detail your mind was stuck on for some reason.
Thinking about that spire again, your mind can almost conjure a clear image of your dream. A lingering feeling of déjà vu washes over you, settling heavy on your chest. You’ve dreamt this before; you feel this with every bone in your body as an unshakeable fact. You’ve seen this obsidian spire before, this sprawling flower field. You know with startling certainty that you’ve had this exact dream before. But when you try to recall when, the feeling dissipates and leaves behind only a phantom sensation and an absence in your memory you cannot comprehend.
Sylus watches as you shake away the remnants of déjà vu. Your brow furrows. You’ve come to be accustomed to his intense stares through the months you’ve known him, but this one was… strange. It was as if he was trying to look deep into the fabric of your soul, even without the use of the Aether Core in his eye. His face remains a blank and indecipherable mask, leaving you with no indication of what he’s thinking of. You wanted to know what was going on in that unfathomable mind of his.
Longing. Trepidation. Yearning, a yearning that aches and makes you want to answer its call. You become distantly aware of emotions trickling into you that weren’t your own. You didn’t realize you were resonating with Sylus until he severed it, the hand holding yours shifting to catch your wrist instead. He leans down to brush his soft lips against it before letting your hand rest gently on your stomach.
“How about you recover from your fever first before you use your evol, sweetie.” He laughs softly, the red-gold brilliance of your evols intertwined fading from your hands.
“Oh, sorry.”
His presence in your mind and by your side was so natural that you weren’t even aware of when you began resonating with him. It seemed like your body responded to your desires even while your mind lagged behind. That brief glimpse into him enabled you to decipher that emotion in his eyes, though you struggle to make sense of it.
It was hope.
“Never apologize to me. What else do you remember?” he asks quietly, before you can puzzle over it further.
You close your eyes, willing the memories of the fleeing dream forward. The golden light of a setting sun. The crisp cold of mountainous air. The feeling of being the only two creatures in the world. And, inexplicably, the feeling of home.
“We were up in the air flying, somehow, before we landed in that blossoming. It was unlike anything I’ve ever seen before. I felt like I was in a whole other world. When I turned around to look at you, I saw you sitting there amongst the flowers. Red, like shining rubies. Red like-” you pause, the words at the tip of your tongue. A silhouette appears in your mind’s eye, before it sinks back into the void.
“Red, like rich wine,” you finish, though you know that’s not what you had wanted to say.
When he said nothing, you continued on. “I decorated you with those flowers. We were so carefree, unworried and relaxed. It was just us, no one else, in the valley that was our playground. I think I was teasing you, or maybe you were teasing me. You said something about seeing the other side of things, something taunting. We ended up play-fighting, rolling around and sending petals up in the air.”
You smile, the warmth of the dream enveloping you.
“It felt so real.” You wanted it to be real, this lovely lush field and this gorgeous, monstrous Sylus.
Monstrous?
Startled out of your reverie, you blink open your eyes. No, there is nothing monstrous about Sylus. Not anymore, not since those first few nights that you’ve met him so long ago. Shaking your head slightly to dispel the thought, you turn your head to glance at him, realizing he hasn’t spoken in a while.
His eyes are closed, brows furrowed and drawn tightly together. You’ve seen this expression on his face before, briefly, when he struggles to heal a particularly nasty wound. His body is so tense when you reach out to him, muscles taut and rigid beneath your fingers. You’re not quite sure he’s even breathing.
“Sylus?”
At your prompting, Sylus sucks in a breath through his teeth and exhales. He opens his eyes and your breath catches. Rich garnet eyes glow in the darkness, twin wine-dark seas drowning in sorrow, regret. Agony.
It is so at odds to the sweetness of your recounted dream that alarm shot through you, temporarily driving away the sleepiness. Seeing the pain in his eyes unsettled you; it didn’t belong on his face at all. Your sluggish brain tries to make sense of what you could have said to have garnered this reaction. Did you say something wrong? Your chest tightens at the thought of hurting him with your words, somehow. You begin to prop yourself up.
Sylus stops you with one gentle hand, pushing you to lay back down. He silently regards you, the silence between you stretching into something delicate.
There are so many things you want to say, to ask and to comfort. Sylus was never one to let his emotions show as openly as they are right now. You want to ask what was wrong, take back your silly little story if all it gave him was pain, even if you didn’t understand why.
But through the jumble of your fever, all that came out of your tired mouth was, “It was just a dream, Sylus.”
He quietly watches you for a few breaths longer. Slowly, he lifts a hand to gently caresses your cheek, holding you as if you were something as fragile as a memory. Leaning down, he brushes his lips against your forehead, soft as a butterfly’s wings, as the petals of a phantom flower.
“You’re right,” he says, with a grief you cannot fathom.
“It was just a dream, sweetheart.” His voice is barely a whisper. “It can be nothing more than a dream.”

taffy, do you have any tips on how to get motivation to draw when adhd makes focusing or even just starting on it hard?
youre one of my favorite artists and hearing you have adhd too made me feel a bit better abt my struggles with it
hmmm. I mean even after I started finally getting medicated for it I still struggled with this so I don't know if I have any GREAT tips lol, but here's some stuff that seems to help me:
- keep a list somewhere of ideas you wanna draw or techniques/styles you wanna practice or whatever, so you can add stuff to the list whenever you randomly think of it
- find ways to get yourself into Art Focus Mode, like a flow state or hyperfocus or whatever. for me that usually means making sure my water is full, eating a snack, wrapping my lower body in a blanket (my apartment is always a little chilly), and either joining a discord call with some friends (often screensharing so I feel sorta accountable if I get distracted and stop drawing) or just closing social media tabs and pulling up music/video essays/stream VODs/etc. the point of any of this is largely to make it harder to randomly get up and do other stuff if I don't actually need to. I'm at my desk and I'm drawing, it's happening, I'm locking in
- if you have something you NEED to draw (like me with commission work) and you can't find the motivation to just jump into that right away, this is where your list comes in. look at it and find something that currently interests you to draw (either fully or at least just starting it) and try drawing that first for a bit. then once you're kinda already in the art mindset, you can pivot over to the Art Task and it's usually a bit easier than jumping in raw. (setting a timer may also be helpful if you find your warmup drawings end up going on too long)
- this one might be a bit more of a me thing and specific to my workflow, but I also like keeping a little stopwatch app in the corner of my screen while I'm working so I know how long I've been drawing for. it's good for keeping track of how long I spend on commissions relative to how much I'm getting paid so I stay roughly within my "time budget", but it's more immediately helpful for just making sure I take breaks when I notice I've been working for a couple hours already. taking breaks often feels counterintuitive to the whole process of trying to induce hyperfocus, but you GOTTA take them or your bones will explode, so make them structured and make them count. get a snack, walk around, stretch, whatever you gotta do, and then restart the process and get back to drawing (and remember to unpause your timer lol)
that's all I can think of right now! hopefully some of this is helpful!

club tropicana | lando norris
summary: on an all inclusive holiday in ibiza, y/n finds herself falling head over feet for the charming british barman
pairing: bartender!lando norris x female! reader
warnings: reader has some crappy former friends, please do not get into a car with a barman at a shitty three star spanish resort (lowkey inspired by my 'benidorm' rewatch), cameos from carlos and fernando, im so sorry that this took me literally a month and a half to write.
club tropicana drinks are free / fun and sunshine, its enough for everyone all that's missing is the sea / but don't you worry, you can suntan
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
the sun beat down on the resort-goers, reflecting off the chlorinated water in the swimming pool. sunbeds were arranged around the large body of water. swimmers in the pool sat on mosaic stools underwater to order drinks at the swim up bar.
she was supposed to be on this trip with her friends. well, some friends they were. ending a friendship over text with about six weeks left in her second-to-last university semester before graduation.
and so she had gone alone, to the most affordable three-and-a-half star resort in ibiza. truth be told, she hadn't wanted to go to the party island in the first place. if she didn't leave the resort, it wouldn't even matter.
bookmarking her page, she sat her copy of dark sacred night down on the sunbed and strode towards the pool. the pool was crowded, but the swim-up seats at the bar were, unfortunately, the easiest way to get a drink at the resort.
she took a deep breath and ducked below the water, swimming over to where the bar was. she liked being underwater. all her senses were dulled, and the noise of the real world seemed to fade away.
"one vodka orange, please." her voice was quieter than intended when she sat down at the bar, and for a moment she worried that the barman couldn't hear her.
"coming right up, love." the barman was british, with a mop of curly hair and a pale yellow resort shirt that had the name 'lando' embroidered over the heart. he winked at her as he got the vodka down from a shelf behind the bar and began to mix her drink.
lando wasn't oblivious to the understated beauty of the girl in front of him, water running down her soft skin and dipping into the curve between her breasts. her wide, gentle eyes. the way the orange fabric of her swimsuit hugged her curves.
she was wearing a one-piece, a rarity in ibiza.
"so," he asks, setting the drink down in front of her. "what brings you to spain"?
he always asks, even if he doesn't care. but one thing he's noticed since he started working behind the bar is that everybody has something to say, and sometimes they just need a stranger to say it too.
kind of like the characters in that old billy joel song, the one about the piano and the man at the bar making love to his tonic and gin.
and she doesn't know what it is about lando that put her so at ease, but suddenly shes talking and talking and can't make it stop and now he knows all about the three years of friendships she forged at university and how all she had to show for it were two refunded ryanair flights and a text message saying that they 'needed space' and 'our friendship will not be continuing at this time' with no explanation of what she had done to push them away in the first place.
funny that.
"does that sound ridiculous?" she cringed. "it sounds really silly now that i've said it out loud."
"people come to ibiza for dumber reasons. i worked in benidorm for two years, and you should see the train wrecks that come through there." lando laughed, leaning against the tiled bar. "you're better off without them, if you ask me. they sound very catty."
"catty is saying it nicely." she laughed along, sipping her vodka orange.
talking with lando was easy. more so, it seemed like he genuinely cared, and that he wanted to listen. it had been a long time since she had felt like anyone wanted to listen to her. even still, the voices in her head were getting harsher and harsher.
"what are your plans for later?" lando asked, head cocked to the side. "i've got this friend, he owns a party boat company."
"lando, i'm not getting on a spanish party boat with a man i hardly know." she cringed, stomach flip-flopping. had she gotten the total wrong idea about him? he seemed like the kind of guy who would know just about everybody in ibiza, and probably half of benidorm as well. "does anything that i've just told you make you think that i would literally at all be interested?
lando raised his eyebrows. "you didn't let me finish, love. he also does nighttime stargazing tours. that far out on the water, there's nothing in the way of you, the sky and the stars. i thought that was much more up your alley. i could take you tonight if you wanted to."
she felt a pit in her stomach and cursed herself for jumping to conclusions. for a moment, the barman had looked genuinely hurt, right now, though, he looked at her with puppy-dog eyes, and expression that inevitably made her cave.
after all, she was on vacation.
and here she was, waiting in the lobby of the hotel in a low cut black halter dress. she'd done her makeup, which was a rarity. she was tempted to turn her location tracker on, but wondered who she would share it with. she could always tell the woman working reception to call her at a set time, and then the police if she didn't answer, she supposed.
lando pulled up outside in a little fiat 500, looking dapper in a collared shirt. his hair was visibly caked in gel, and he smelled like expensive cologne.
far more expensive than a barman should have been able to afford.
"are you ready for the night of your life, milady?"
she fought the blush, looking at his extended arm. no doubt he wanted her to link her arm through his. and they said that romance was dead.
"take it away, bartender."
the fiat should have felt cramped, but instead felt cozy. spanish synthpop music played on the radio, something uplifting and calming as lando drove through the cobbled ibiza streets. she looked out the window in wonder, eyes wide as the city nightlife passed them by.
all too soon, they had arrived at the dock, and lando was speaking rapid-fire spanish to another man who was leaning through the window. they laughed, and the spaniard clapped lando on the shoulder before taking a small handful of bills from him.
the barman stepped out of the fiat, crossing around the car to open her door and help her out of the little hatchback car.
"your carriage awaits." he grinned, cocking his head in the direction of the boat. "come on, i got us the best seats."
on the boat, an older dj was playing a wham! record, 'club tropicana' blaring out over the sound system.
"when does the bar open?" she asked quietly. "i'm craving something."
"in about twenty minutes, as soon as we leave port." lando replied, resting his hands on her waist. "in the meantime, can i tempt you to a dance?"
ah, why the hell not?
"hey, fernando," lando started before rattling off something in spanish. the dj nodded once before changing the record on his turntable.
spanish synthpop.
lando took her hands in his, pulling her closer for a spirited dance, his hips swinging back and forth with abandon. she fought the urge to burst out laughing as she let him pull her close. the sun was dipping low over the horizon, and down at the dock the deckhands were getting ready to leave port.
but with lando's hands burning into her skin as he lead her in something that might have vaguely resembled the tango, she had forgotten all about the fact that she was on a stargazing cruise, not a latin dance boat.
she only realized the song was over when the audience that had gathered around her and lando had started to clap. red faced and blushing, she dropped lando's hands and shyly pushed a strand of hair behind her ear.
"i think im ready for that drink now."
lando beamed, resting his hand in the small of her back. "of course, sweetheart. vodka orange?"
"you know me so well."
lando effortlessly slid behind the bar, hands flying as he grabbed glasses and bottles and shakers. she leaned against the bar, chin in her hand as she watched him work, muscles rippling in his forearms underneath the rolled-up sleeves of his white shirt.
he winked at her as he passed her the glass. by now, the sun had fully dipped below the horizon, and if one craned their neck up, they would be able to see a glimmering landscape of stars, uninterrupted by the muted lights on the boat.
lando came to stand behind her, his hands resting on her waist, protectively holding her body to his.
"so, be honest, this just made your trip a whole lot better, didn't it?"
despite herself, she laughed, relaxing into his touch. "yeah, it really did. thank you, lando."
"wait," he started, hand moving to her chin. "my job isn't quite done yet."
"what are you-"
she didn't get a chance to finish as the barman touched his lips to hers. they were soft. way softer than any barman's lips should be, well taken care of like the rest of the brit in front of her. she fell, no, tumbled into the kiss, feeling herself falling faster with every second that they spent lip-locked.
and she knew that there was no way that barman wasn't coming home with her. who needs return flights anyways? maybe she could just stay in ibiza and snog him for the rest of her her working life.
for now, though, she'd just settle with getting him into her hotel room.

A Little Break
Look, out of all the ways I expected my week to go, falling in love with the cocept of a sentient ball of Play-Doh that was made of three different children who were experimented on, that carries the weight of the world on his shoulders and has severe trauma and inferiority complex wasn't on my list. Doey was a great and tragic character, It's been very long since I've last seen some good and complex character. He deserved way better and we were robbed. Out of all the chapters to have different endings depending on your choices, this was the one that should have had that option. I really hope they bring him back if not for Chapter five, for the movie.
I just really had to write something for him, I couldn't get it out of my head. Reader is as gender neutral and as poc friendly as possible, can be interpreted as either platonic or romantic, whatever you wish.
━◦○◦━◦○◦━◦○◦━◦○◦━━◦○◦━◦○◦━◦○◦━◦○◦━━◦○◦━◦○◦━◦○◦━◦
It had all happened so fast. One moment Doey was there, right in front of you, being his cheery and goofy self, and the other he was groaning in pain as the freezing agents completely reduced his body to a giant block of ice.
Panic flowed through your mind. What had just happened!!??? Did he die??? What were going to tell to the inhabitants of Safe Haven?? Dread filled you at the thought of the Safe Heaven's protector having perished. Your brain went overdrive, brainstorming thousands of ideas to get yourselves out of this predictment.
And then you saw it. Old, heavy and metallic, a valve. Not thinking twice, you aimed your grabpack towards it.
The plastic hand attached itself to the valve with surprising ease, given that by that point it was a bit worse for the wear.
With great effort, the rusty valve, turned with a loud creak that resonated among the empty halls of that prison/laboratory.
"Hurts! HURTS HURTS HURTS!" The giant doughman lamented, panting heavily while doubling over. Your heart ached with sympathy. Slowly, you approached him as if the half a ton super strong and shapeshifting monster was some sort of scared little animal.
"Hey, are you okay?" You asked tentatively
"Yeah, yeah, just a nasty spook." It didn't sound very convincing, that freezing agent must had really done a number on him.
"Here, let's sit down for a bit, okay?." You encouraged, grabbing his massive hand with both of yours, ignoring his insistent reassurances that he was fine.
"I SAD I'M FINE." His free hand slammed against the brick wall, leaving a huge crater in the shape of his handprint, a harsh reminder that this creature in front of you wasn't really human, not anymore, and could easily tear you limb from limb with ease if he desired so. You thought you caught a glimpse of sharp red fangs in his usually empty mouth.
It felt like walking on eggshells, you had to measure very carefully your next words, as the usually goofy and kindhearted Doey seemed to be at his wits' end. Yet you couldn't just stand there and move to the next room as if nothing had happened and leave him to deal with his pain alone.
"No, you're not." You tried to keep yourself calm and composed, despite the persistent feeling of terror at his sudden outburst. "You're hurting, you can't keep going on like this. You need to rest."
"I. Can't. They are all depending on me, and time is not on our side. We need to end this now." His words were bitter, sharp, but they didn't have the dangerous edge they had before. That was good, you supposed.
"Please, I know that you carry a heavy burden on your shoulders, but I'd feel more at ease if we took a rest. Just a couple of minutes. Please." You knew it was wrong to take advantage of his Atlas complex and pathological need to take care of those at his charge to manipulate him into doing your bidding, but he needed to rest, no, he deserved to rest, and more so after that very painful experience.
He scrunched his eyes, having some sort of internal fight, before he finally relented with a long suffering sigh.
"Okay, but just a couple of minutes, nothing more."
Dragging his feet like a petulant child, he dropped to the floor, arms crossed, making the floor tremble slightly. You quietly followed and sat close to him, but still keeping some distance, just in case he decided to explode again. Even then, you could feel the coldness emanating from his skin as a result of the ice that had comoletely engulfed him merely seconds ago.
"You're cold." You stated.
"It'll pass." He tried to act nonchalantly, to rest importance to his own suffering, but the wince he let out while changed positions betrayed him.
You quickly disposed of your grabpack, possibly the only protection you had in this place, and quickly made work of your jacket and outershirt.
"Wha- what are you doing-"
"Shhh" You shushed him, drapping your pieces of clothing over his large frame, they looked comically tiny on him, like a baby blanket on a full grown adult. Still, you hoped they'd do the trick. "You said we don't have time to waste, maybe this will help you warm up faster."
He stood silent for a moment, his oval beady eyes made it impossible for you to know what crossed his mind.
"Oh... thank you..." You could tell he wasn't used to this, not being the caregiver. Having been used for so long to put everybody else's needs over his own it now felt awkward to suddenly be offered some comfort. Doey wasn't sure how to properly react to that aside from the obvious words of appreciation.
The two of you just sat in silence for the rest of your 'pause', afraid that if any of you spoke it would break that peaceful moment and bring you back into the harsh reality.
Doey had to reluctantly agree with Poppy on something.
You were truly special.

I'm thinking again about how Bells Hells repeatedly insisted they had "no choice" but to release Predathos in the finale, when they very much did have a choice even as they felt it was the best of a series of bad options. They might not have liked the choice, but they did choose to go into the Hallowed Cage instead of doing something else. And the thing is, this refusal of their own agency is something they've done the whole time. One of their most aggravating traits as an adventuring party has been repeatedly asking everyone they come across (gods, world leaders, Predathos itself) what they want as a way to avoid choosing what to do for themselves, to the point that the Raven Queen eventually calls them out on it.
And the fact that the larger political and theological implications of the finale were carried out largely without Bells Hells only further highlights their lack of acknowledged agency. It was in conversations between Vax and Morrighan and Deanna with their respective deities that the implications of the gods becoming mortal where dealt with and the question of whether saving them was worth it was answered (yes they were worth saving, because everyone is). The logistics of what to do with the Ruidians who want to live on Exandria and the establishment of diplomatic relations with the moon were settled by Vox Machina and the Mighty Nein, with Bells Hells taking pretty much no part. Bells Hells lack of involvement in either of these series of conversations makes it feel like these events occurred outside of them despite being spurred entirely by their actions and choices.
But what really makes this stick out to me, is that I've written about characters who actively defer their own agency to external forces before in regards to Moc Weepe and Jonas Spahr of Midst. But where I think both of their arcs work and Bells Hells falls flat is the narrative of Midst acknowledges their deferral of agency and directly grapples with it. Learning to acknowledge that he is making choices and those choice have consequences that he needs to take responsibility for is a key component of Spahr's character arc, which climaxes with him finally making a decisive choice for himself. Weepe in contrast continues to deny his own agency even in the face of the woman he loves begging him to take some accountability (on her deathbed no less!) and this ultimately leads him to his ruin. Whereas with Bells Hells everything worked out just fine in the end despite all their waffling and refusal of responsibility without any consequences that would make them take a good long look at what they did, or bite them for choices they refuse to acknowledge that they made.

Now hear me out, #10 on the room prompt with Bruce. I don't know just how to describe it, but something about him having to pay whomever checks the security cameras to stay silent after fucking our brains out is so scumptious. Or maybe not even fucking and just rubbing himself on our pussy to get himself off and leave us needy. Like you have no idea how badly I need this man to cum in my panties while we're at work and tell me to "deal with it."
Bruce Wayne/F!Reader, 1.4K words AN: I'm bringing back PA/Secretary reader cause they deserve to keep fucking after the whole pollen fiasco, and we’re going heavy on the Brucie charm for this one. Is this like the third thing in a row I've written that includes our dear old reader being denied? Yes. Am I upset about it? Hell no! Warnings: Semi-public | denial | power imbalance
Tumblr media
It doesn’t matter how many times your boss charms himself out of the consequences of being chronically late for every important meeting or event, it always rubs you the wrong way. Fortunately for him though, he’d lucked out, or perhaps planned on it, by wearing those trousers. They may seem like any other of his no doubt massive collection of black fitted trousers, but these ones in particular hug his sturdy thighs in all the right places.
You’re calming down by enjoying the view when the private elevator comes to a bumpy, unexpected stop. You lurch forward, letting out an embarrassing squeal as the lights go out until a pair of steady and familiar hands catch you. He has you comfortingly pressed into his chest when the emergency lights switch on, and he keeps you there, with a firm, soothing grip as he pulls out his phone. As his assistant, it certainly should be your job to be making calls at this point, assuring his investors that you’ll be there when the elevator is back in service and amending his future appointments to make up for lost time but Bruce is already on the line with the 20th floor receptionist and security personnel before you have the chance to beat him to it.
“I could have done all that for you.” You scold when he hangs up.
He shrugs, nonchalantly, chuckling as his hand starts to smooth its way further down your back, settling on your hip, just a half-inch shy of your ass. “Now you don’t have to.”
“Are we going to be stuck in here for long?” As you ask, you lean back to look at him, straightening his tie after your impromptu cuddle had brushed it askew. His baby blues wander upward as he considers his next words and actions until he looks back at you with a playful smile.
“Long enough that we might need to find a way to pass the time.” It’s obvious what he has in mind as his sneaky fingers slowly, but decisively start to gather up your skirt, exposing a little more of your thighs with each curl of his fingers.
Obvious, but not acceptable. “Mr Wayne, the cameras!”
His wrist is too thick for you to wrap your whole hand around but that doesn’t stop you grabbing it. Your objection doesn’t stop him, and when you turn your head to gesture at the aforementioned cameras, he only uses it as an opening to lay his lips on the side of your neck. He rubs his nose against the soft spot below your ear, breathing in your perfume before he starts to press tender and intoxicating kisses to your skin. It's maddening, and you want to melt into them but neither of you want news leaking about Bruce Wayne and his assistant making it to print.
“Sir! I really don’t think we should be doing this in here.” When you object a second time he gives pause, pulling back just enough that you can still feel the warmth of his breath.
“Relax.” His bass-like voice whispers in your ear before he starts to kiss along your jaw until you’re face to face. “Nobody is monitoring the surveillance room right now, and it won’t cost much to have the recording scrubbed. Nobody will know.”
He’s already won his case, he won the moment he started, and he knows to; he’s already wearing his victory look, that lopsided smile, hungry eyes framed by dark and pronounced brows that are begging you to challenge him. But you don’t challenge him, you succumb under his gaze, leaning up to put your arms around his shoulders a kiss him. Now that he has your official permission, Bruce wastes no time hitching up the last of your skirt, trying and failing to keep his amusement under wraps as you gasp and yelp when lifts you by the backs of your thighs, pressing you to the cold metal wall with your legs spread around his hips until you’re rested upon the railing.
“Keep quiet.” He warns with mocking sincerity, eyes fixed on your flushing face as he unbuckles those pants and reaches beneath his boxers. “Unless you want everyone on the 12th floor to get an earful of those dirty noises you make for me.”
“Easy for you to say. You’ve never had to take something that big before I’d bet.” You’re only half joking, and you know your words have stroked his ego just right by the way he shuts his eyes for a moment, suppressing his blush before he pulls out his half-hard cock. His fingers glide over it ease, bringing it to full attention without breaking his unflinching stare.
“You don’t have to take anything.” The fingers of his other hand hook into your panties, and your whole core clenches around nothing as it’s exposed to the air. He’s excruciatingly gentle he runs his finger along your slit, and you fidget on your precarious perch, desperate for more pressure as he keeps ghosting over your folds.
“I just wanna feel you.” He practically purrs, resting his forehead on yours as he lines up his crown at your entrance. “How wet you are for me.”
True to his word he doesn’t even try to push into your waiting pussy. Instead, driving his length between your lips, sucking in a breath and bucking up until his tip drags over your clit and down again, one hand cupping the base of his cock to stimulate any parts of him that doesn’t reach between your warm lips.
“Hah.” His jaw grows momentarily slick, lids heavy as he revells in the feel of your wet and puffy folds. “You’re a very accommodating PA, you know. Always ready for me.” His voice breaks as he tries to jest. “Is this okay?”
Though he would have gotten the same response from you where he not stroking your clit with every thrust, the fact that he is certainly motivates your dreamy reply. “Y-yes. Yes Mr Wayne, keep going.”
“Good.” His breath is already shaken and heavy. “Goooood.”
He’s careful as he tucks your panties back into place, covering his cock with it before he connects his lips to yours for a heated, frenzied kiss. A messy kiss, which you deepen every time he grazes your clit just right to make your toes curl in your pumps and your grip on his suit jacket tighten.
A kiss that’s only broken periodically, when Bruce needs a second to bury his face into the crook of your neck to muffle his ragged, whimpers.
Again when you pushed back against him too hard, nearly falling from your improvised plinth.
And once more when the elevator begins to hum back to life, nearly blinding you both with the normal lighting, and causing you both to jerk as it starts to move once more.
“Shit!” You tap at his shoulders, urging him to stop, growing more angsty with each floor that flies by, ignoring how your pussy aches to finish.
“Just. One. More. Second.” Bruce growls between pants, too close to stop, unwilling to stop. Still pumping his length between your folds, each roll of his hips growing harder and further apart. “Almost- fff.”
His voice breaks completely, hard muscles softening in relief as he as he releases himself. The heady feel of his hot cum spilling against your achy pussy makes your body long for more even though your brain says no. Unconsciously you ride against him, smearing his load all over. The sight of it seeping into and staining your underwear making you lightheaded.
Despite your warnings, Bruce is the one to move first, letting you down from the wall and pulling your skirt back down before turning his back to the door just in time for the telltale DING sounds, alerting you both that you’ve reached your stop. With record speed; he tucks himself back in, neat and tidy just in time for the doors to open where Sam the receptionist is waiting to inform you that the investors are still waiting in the boardroom but are getting tetchy.
“I’ll meet you in there.” You tell him, already veering toward the bathrooms.
“No, I need you there.” His voice is terse, but his eyes are knowing.
With as much subtly as possible you gesture to your lower body, where his cum is still warm and seeping into the crevices of your pussy. Your panties, unable to contain it all; are leaking, and with every drop that starts to gradually trickle down your leg, you can feel yourself growing simultaneously more needy and paranoid.
“You’re just gonna have to deal with it.” He’s already got his charming, Brucie Wayne can-do-no-wrong face on as he places an arm around you, just high enough on your back as to not cause suspicion as he guides you toward the meeting room. “I need my best girl.”

Personally, when I created the writeup I have on my blog giving a brief rundown of my blog in the description it was less of a "don't interact because I don't know how/refuse to use a block button" in the sense described here and more intended as what I originally thought a DNI was supposed to be:
"I don't tolerate actual bigoted behaviour so don't waste your time coming in here thinking we'll be friends only to spring some bigoted bullcrap on me later thinking that was a normal thing to believe/say/do. Don't waste your time and don't waste mine. Here's where I stand on these real life actual problem things so you can just bail if you're not ready to accept that. If you can't critically consume fictional media and don't have anything substantial to say in your critical consumption, I don't have time for you so save your breath and mine and go back to your purity cult. Also if you're under 18 this blog is not for you. I am an adult and don't wish to have minors running around pretending like we're all chill with having kids on a blog with adult-only content actually when I don't kmow you exist or haven't been told in some way that you shouldn't be here despite how clear I've made it that this is an adult-only space. Leave.
And if I find out you're any of these types of people I WILL be curating my internet experience by blocking you."
You know? There are different ways to use DNIs that aren't "fuck you no you put all the effort in to not expose me to you" and are instead intended more like "Hey look interact if you want but I'm warning you that you're wasting your time long term if you think you can be shitty to real life people right in front of my salad, so to save us both the hassle I'm leaving it up to you specifically because I have no idea you exist and can't block you until I do so feel free to take that first step since you know we won't gel and you know I exist while I have not yet had the displeasure."
That said, people definitely shouldn't put real life issues next to fandom preferences and gripes. It defangs serious real world issues by trying to take the fangs off them and slap them directly onto the fictional things to lend credence to them because the person doing it doesn't know how to express their discomfort well enough to feel heard about it/expect people to dismiss anything they say out of hand so they grab whatever closest thing from real world issues already considered serious which could kind of fit if you do a handstand and squint through a cloud of steam. Which has the opposite effect, because now people are (rightfully) angry at them for trivialising real world issues to make people treat their perspective on fictional media seriously.
If you know how to criticise media and/or make sure you know the difference between actually potentially harmful handling of a theme within fictional media vs something made you uncomfortable and you want to express it and feel heard as part of processing it but don't know how, then you probably won't feel as strong of - if any - need to play up what you have a problem with. Because a) you know how to express your position to get people to listen to you, b) don't need strangers on the internet to validate you to know you're right because you're versed in identifying and talking about how to fix this problem in media causing potential harm to a marginalised group or otherwise teaching potentially harmful perspectives and here's why... and c) you know when something is just bothering you personally and probably have some healthier copes for it, like ranting into the void on your own post without using any main fandom tags and/or ranting to your friends and/or writing fix-it fic and or- you get the gist.
The day we start doing more of that is the day this whole 'anti-shipper' and responding 'pro-shipper' thing will probably calm down a little bit.
i don't respect DNIs not in the sense i go out of my way to break them but in the sense that i don't respect DNIs as a concept and consider them to be something of a red flag in general.
i'm not sure how to explain it but it's the combination of usually putting very serious issues on the same level as fandom stuff, the fact that half the time people don't even know what they're against beyond 'the bad stuff' therefore even further watering these issues down, and the idea that other people are expected to manage your online existence for you.
there's a passiveness to it that i think is actually a problem and it does not surprise me in the slightest that people with DNIs tend to view what media they consume as activism. do you get what i'm saying.

This isn't some novel thought, but for me Fitzier begins in ep2, when Silna's father is brought onto Erebus
(a long-ish, GIF-heavy scene breakdown follows)
Tumblr media
I won't cover the violations of Silna's beliefs, feelings and bodily autonomy which happen in these moments - they are of course terrible and very important. Instead, I want to focus on how the scene kicks off a new dynamic between Francis and James, how it lays a foundation for their subsequent closeness and how it changes our view of who James might be as a person.
Let’s begin.
Sir John and James arrive in the sick bay to join Stanley and Goodsir. Stanley says: "nope, not touching this one". Goodsir asks for leave to save the shaman's life. Franklin, already looking deeply disturbed by what's happening, hesitantly agrees.
Francis arrives. The operating table divides him from Franklin, Stanley and James — he is literally not on their side. All three men glare up at him as one: How is this maudlin MF going to make this horrible situation worse for us?
Tumblr media
But while the three of them just stand there, Francis puts himself in charge. With a bit of help from McDonald, he takes hold of a distraught Silna and tries to explain what is happening, who they are, that they're not trying to do harm. It is in this moment that James becomes the only one on the opposite side of the table to step forward (to help Francis control the situation or at least to do something). He looks compelled to action but cannot act.
Tumblr media
Okay... so here we see that maybe this guy isn't just Franklin's poodle (we saw a bit of that earlier in the episode - more on that later).
Meanwhile Franklin, as soon as Francis takes control, BUGGERS OFF. Of course this can be justified by him already having given his orders and no longer needing to be involved, but we know that a) he sneaks off when the situation is clearly fraught and Francis is clearly better suited to handle it, knowing Inuktitut among other things and b) he actually ends up hiding out in his cabin, freaking out while listening to the howls of the dying man. This is too strange, too awful for him. Not to mention: oh god, I'm stuck in the ice, I've just lost a lieutenant, I keep losing men, what are they going to think of me?
Tumblr media
While Sir John is off having a lil meltdown.... James' eyes are firmly on Francis.
Tumblr media
We don't even see him acknowledge his captain's departure.
But why is James there? The obvious answer is: to report back to Sir John, to make sure things don't get weird and that Francis doesn't do anything stupid on THEIR ship. After all, let's remember the last scene before this one where James is focused on Francis:
Tumblr media
Here he was describing Francis as if he's got him pegged: he's a disappointed man, Sir John, he was no one's first choice etc etc.
I know what he is. Do you now, James?
(interesting framing the above scene, btw - James standing, active, Sir John focused on his creature comfort, the pipe, and questioning himself. James speaking in firm tones to his commander: "I will not allow..." — James is literally being reframed as a leader.)
Anyway, back to where we were.
While Goodsir sets about trying to remove the shot, we get a little glimpse of James: he looks frozen, uneasy, swaying in to stare at the wound (Oh Tobias, the actor that you are). Can we say flashbacks to the Chinese sniper? This must be seriously triggering for him. Something is shifting.
Tumblr media
(Another aside: James is standing next to Stanley, the man who dug out the shot when he was hit by the sniper. That same man is now refusing to help. Hm.)
Next, Goodsir says: I can't save this man. Here something important happens: James and Francis share a look.
Tumblr media
This is Francis, for the first time, acknowledging not just James still being in the bay at all — but that the two of them are in this moment together! Francis' eyes saying to James: I'm about to tell this woman her father is going to die and James acknowledging in return how awful that is. He presses his mouth, drops his eyes.
The little flash of connection doesn't last. When Silna starts to plead with her dying father, James once again reaches out across the table to Francis: what is she saying? But it's maybe too pushy, too "I need to be told what's going on" so Francis ignores him and it's McDonald who answers.
Tumblr media
Next, Silna launches herself at her dying father. Here, once again, James tries to take an active role, to "help" by following Francis' cues on what to do.
James has been watching, learning, asking questions and now looks desperate to be part of the solution to this awful situation: to be in this with Francis. Look how similar their gestures are, how James looks to Francis for direction.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
---
STOP - DOOM HAMMER TIME
The VERY first scene in which Francis and James become partners, take action together to keep something from happening, they effectively set in motion one of the biggest causes of their doom: Silna's father doesn't die as he should, Tuunbaq is not bound to anyone. Oh man. That's a whole other essay.
---
(Back to the scene....)
While they're wrestling with Silna, James, clearly emotional and upset by what is taking place, reaches out again, perhaps this time more sincerely: Look at me, Francis, I'm trying to help, at least tell me what's happening? This time Francis acknowledges him — actually SPEAKS to him for the first time.
Tumblr media
In response, James looks particularly vulnerable and distraught.
Silna's father dies. We see how different James' reaction is to Francis'. Poor James. Maybe he wants a little bit more from Francis in that moment, one more shared look. Francis doesn't give it to him.
Tumblr media
Aaaaaand here we are, it's almost over. Franklin swans in, the really bad, bloody stuff having already been dealt with. He re-asserts his command by giving an order to James to escort Silna off the ship. James… doesn't exactly spring into action. In fact, he doesn't even acknowledge the order verbally, unlike Stanley. What's going on in his head? What does he think about Francis in that moment?
Tumblr media
Anyway, let's wrap up.
So much of this scene is about the shift in James’ perception of Francis. He suddenly sees a man who is hands-on, who can take charge, who doesn't walk away from a terrible and unusual situation, even when it's clear there's no good outcome. And of course he knows Sir John skipped off at first opportunity.
Francis, meanwhile, only briefly appears to acknowledge James —but only as far as we can see. Francis of course knows that James was there, that he stayed behind, that he tried to help, that he tried to understand.
This knowledge and this changed dynamic become apparent immediately, in the very next scene.
LOOK HOW THEY ARE FRAMED!!!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Sir John is already receding into the background. James and Francis sit — still opposite sides of a table but in essentially the same pose. They are partners, mirrors, leaning into each other. The few glances here, small as they are, are NOT at Sir John, but between James and Francis.
Anyway, here you go, that's me done. I fucking love this show.

the concept of intentional boredom/tedium in video games is very much a "your mileage may vary" kind of thing and i go back and forth about it in different situations. where does it work? where does it feel earned/worth the mental toll? why am i gonna play a game that is trying to make me miserable?
i can understand this not being the case for everyone (ymmv, after all) but for ISaT i was so fucking fully on board with the repetitive tedium of it all. rubbing my grubby little hands together and going yesssss, yesssssss, make my immersive gameplay experience directly emulate the exact frustrations and anxieties and mind-numbing breakdowns of the player character. remind me, at every turn, the toll this would take on the person living it. make me live their inner monologue before it's ever verbalized on screen.
how strong you feel, compared to the party you're inevitably leaving behind, how weak they seem now. how annoying it is to cut down these same enemies again and again, always pointlessly getting in your way (oh, how convenient that Siffrin feels the same way so intensely that you can get an item that lets him scare them off by sheer force of will before they attack you!). since when was the King's battle--so terrifying, so impossible before--so easy? can't this go faster? you've heard this all before.
let me skip ahead, loop around, treat my character my body Siffrin as disposable, take the fast and easy way to reach the next goal when you're on the verge of an exciting breakthrough, this loop doesn't matter anyway. but ohh, this next loop might be The One, better do this one right and follow the script to perfection. make all the jokes and say all the right things to get the lovely bonding dialogue so you can carry the Best Version of Everyone through to the end. that'll give you the Good Ending, right? can't hurt to try, right? you don't really believe it but this time will fix everything, right?
how generous and wonderful to have so many shortcuts at hand! dissociating zoning out to skip repetitive dialogue, splitting your head open on a rock slipping on a banana peel in the town to loop right to the floor you need, suuuuurely all of this stuff is purely for the Player's Convenience and won't have any psychological impact on our dear protagonist such that it gets slammed back into the player's face as a stomach-dropping reminder that someone's moment-to-moment experience in this time loop still matters, still carries over, still gets riddled with scars even if they can't be seen!
i've played & watched enough games that trivialize/hand-wave game mechanics that it's pretty easy to detach myself from the minutiae of video game decision-making. "this input gets the Good Response" -> "i will continue doing this input." "this option will be more efficient" -> "might as well save some time then." but this game would not let me stop thinking about consequence.
picking Siffrin's favorite food makes them happy! :) it's also the option that makes Bonnie the happiest! yay! -> i keep picking their favorite food -> Siffrin gradually grows sick of something that once brought him joy -> oh. right. that...makes sense, huh.
okay i asked the King what i needed, mann there won't be any tears after the fight is over so i'll have to do the whole ending scene again and that takes a while and i reeeeally wanna talk to Loop, maybe i'll just lose on purpose this time -> OH. RIGHT. THIS IS MAYBE THE MOST PAINFUL WAY FOR SIFFRIN TO DIE BOTH PHYSICALLY AND EMOTIONALLY HUH. -> never gonna do that again actually!!!!! the ending isn't that long!!!!
banana peel time! we've got places to be and mysteries to solve! -> (you're a living comedy sketch.) (you wonder if you'll ever be able to smell bananas again without wanting to vomit.) -> i'm sorry i'm sorry i'm sorry i'm sorry
it's always cute to see Isabeau's reactions! pick the options that make him blush :3 -> (disgusting. manipulative. it's no wonder he thinks he likes you, you made him feel that way.) -> i'm sorry i'm sorry i'm sorry siffrin NO he liked you before any of this happened please don't think of yourself that way--
maybe it won't hit the same for every player (what game can expect to do that?) but holy fuck it hit for me. the way the mechanics let you fall into familiar gamey rhythms but constantly, constantly remind you that this is Siffrin's life you're playing with. the way you end up perfectly in step in the worst ways. muscle memory and habit built up so well that you both stumble when something changes. devastating and delicious

it's my time to shine, ayy 🫶🏼 'm on a whole mission, (you can see it on my blog), reader is cocky, smug, little-shit femme, her and Abby are friends with "benefits" (as: Abby and reader take care of each other, share a bed, kisses "as friends" using it as a stress relief, etc) yet every single time reader try to, like, DTR (define the relationship, duh!), Abby straight up ghosts reader on that convo, (she has major comphet vibes, but that's just a lil' headcanon, don't come for me) now, reader? she ain't no doormat, she's PETTY. Capital P-E-T-T-Y. so when they're both forced (forced proximity? oops...) for a mission, reader looks at Abby dead in the eyes when they're aline and hit her with: "girl, i've been wantin' to kick your ass all week"
OOOOOO THIS IS GOOD! I did my best, mini Drabble

Abby Run-Like-a-Bitch Anderson,
Manny cried laughing the first time he heard you call her that. But you weren’t joking.
Not when the last time you saw Abby, she was bolting out of your room like the WLF had just declared war. And before that? Her tongue was down your throat, hands gripping your waist like she never planned on letting go. That’s how it felt every-time.
That was how she always was touchy, needy, all over you behind closed doors. But you weren’t some secret, something to be ashamed of. Not when there were plenty of other people who’d proudly parade you around. But unfortunately for you, the heart wants what it wants. And unlike Abby, you actually listen to yours. So when the moans and cries had stopped bouncing off your walls, she said something that caught you off guard.
Abby’s breathing was still uneven, her fingers lazily tracing circles against your hip like she wasn’t ready to let go just yet. The room was quiet, save for the sound of your heart still thudding in your chest. And then, she said it. soft, almost like she didn’t mean to say it out loud.
“It’s— this, is different with you…you feel like home”
You blinked, turning your head to look at her. Her gaze was on the ceiling, brows slightly furrowed, like she was already regretting the words.
“Home..?” A slow smile crept onto your lips. “…Sounds long term,” you teased, nudging her side.
That made her freeze. The lazy circles against your hip stopped. Then, before you could react, she was pulling away, sitting up and reaching for her clothes like she’d just been caught doing something wrong. Afterglow or not, she meant it. And you had to push. You’d let her dance around the obvious for too long. For God’s sake, you were there when she broke up with Owen. Listened to her go on and on about how much of a bitch Mel was, how wrong it all felt. So the least she could do was be honest. not just with you, but with herself.
And like clockwork, she stiffened. Sat up. Started getting dressed like she hadn’t just spent the last hour tangled up with you, her face buried against your neck.
“Uht-uht. Hey. Where are you going?” you asked, watching her yank on her shirt.
Abby didn’t look at you. Just laced up her boots and muttered, “I gotta be up early.”
You sat up too, arms resting on your knees. The only thing keeping your sheets warm now was the disappointment. This couldnt keep going on. “Abby, can you stop for two—”
Thud
But the door was already closed behind her.
”—seconds,” you finished, to the empty room.
Tumblr media
That was weeks ago.
And wasn’t the first time she’s done that. You never pushed her to label herself, bi, lesbian, it didn’t matter to you. But with her, it went in one ear and out the other. At first, you tried to play it cool. If she needed time to sort through whatever that was, fine. But then she started dodging you. Switched up her gym schedule. Took shifts at different hours. Disappeared from the mess hall when you walked in. She was practically a ghost.
“Yeah, she definitely avoiding you chica” manny said turning back to his plate
“Wow Thanks manny” you huffed. Yeah, That much was obvious.
Tumblr media
The Abby you knew wouldn’t just run off. Or at least, the Abby you thought you knew. So when Isaac briefed you on your next mission and didn’t mention her name, you almost bought it. Almost. Until you showed up at the post and caught Abby mid-change, swapping out a sweat-stained shirt for a clean one.
She paused when she saw you, shoulders stiff like she’d already knew where this was going. You cocked your head, waiting for her to say something.
She didn’t. Of course she didn’t.
“You know what—” you sighed, setting your pack down. Then, dead serious, you looked her right in the eyes and said—
“Girl, I’ve been wantin’ to kick your ass all week.”
Abby exhaled through her nose, shaking her head like she knew this was coming. “Jesus.”
“Jesus? Oh no, don’t bring him into this now,” you scoffed, stepping closer. “He ain’t the one who ghosted me after weeks of—what did you call it? ‘Taking care of each other?’” You even threw up air quotes, just to be a little shit about it.
Abby’s jaw tightened. “I didn’t ghost you.”
You blinked. Then laughed at her, like she was doing stand up on stage. “Oh, right. So what do you call changing your gym schedule, eating at different times, avoiding me like I got the damn plague?”
Abby dragged a hand down her face, resting it on her hip. “I just—”
You held a hand up before she could choke something out. “Say some bullshit, I dare you,” you cut in, tilting your head.
She clenched her jaw. Looked away. “I just needed space.”
You stared at her. “Space? Call NASA for that shit. You were in my bed two weeks ago. Two.”
Abby shifted, muttering, “That was different.”
“Oh yeah?” You crossed your arms. “How?”
Silence.
You let it hang there, watching her fingers flex at her sides like she wanted to ball them into fists but knew that wouldn’t fix this. Like she knew you were right but refused to say it. You exhaled sharply, shaking your head. “See, this is exactly why I said what I said. You know what you want, Abby. You’re just too chickenshit to admit it.”
Abby’s head snapped up. “That’s not true.”
“Then prove it.” You stepped closer, tilting your chin up. “Tell me you don’t want me. Right here, right now.”
Abby just stared at you, jaw tight, breath a little unsteady.
The tension was thick. You could see it in the way her fists clenched, in the way her eyes flickered over your face like she was searching for something. some way out, some way forward. Anything.
“Yeah. That’s what I thought.”
But then, someone called both of your names, signaling it was time to move out. Abby exhaled sharply, grabbed her pack, and brushed past you without another word.
You just sighed , slinging your bag over your shoulder. Three days.
She’d have to deal with you for three whole days.
The mission was simple: track and clear a small group of Scars camping out near the old radio tower. It should’ve been easy. Would’ve been, if not for the unspoken thing crackling in the air between you and Abby. She was doing her best to ignore it, kept her distance, kept her eyes forward, barely said a word unless it was mission-related.
You? You were having the time of your life.
Every chance you got, you brushed past her, just close enough to graze her arm. Threw her smug little looks when she glared at you. Smiled real pretty when she clenched her jaw and looked away. Petty? Yeah. But so was avoiding someone just because they called you out on your own bullshit. Your own feelings that were right in front of her.
By the time the mission was over and you’d made it back to the safe house for the night, you could feel the tension rolling off her. Everyone else had turned in for the night, sprawled out across old mattresses and sleeping bags. But you weren’t done with her yet.
She was sitting near the window, legs stretched out, back against the wall. She had her arms crossed, fingers tapping against her bicep like she was still wound up, still caught up in whatever thought, feelings words even, she refused to let out.
So you moved over to her. You crouched in front of her, hands on your knees, and grinned. “Y’know,” you said, voice just low enough that no one else could hear, “if you keep runnin’ from your feelings like this, you’re gonna pull something.”
Abby’s fingers stopped tapping. Her eyes flicked to you, sharp and tired. “Not now.”
“Oh, so later then?” Your smile grew. “I’ll pen you in.” “How’s Friday? That work for you?”
Abby exhaled through her nose. “Jesus, do you ever shut up?
You leaned in slightly, dropping your voice even lower. “Mm, You used to like when I ran my mouth. What happened to that?”
Abby’s jaw tightened.
You tilted your head. “What, nothing to say? No pissy comeback? No ‘shut the fuck up’ ,” You reached out, lightly tapping her knee. “C’mon, Abs. Say something.”
And that’s when it happened.
Abby moved fast. One second, she was sitting against the wall, and the next, she was grabbing you by the front of your shirt and yanking you up until your back hit the opposite wall. The breath caught in your throat, but before you could recover, she was right there, her face inches from yours, eyes dark, chest rising and falling like she’d finally had enough. You’d finally pissed her off enough.
You could feel the frustration flowing off of her. And man, did you love it.
“You think this” she gestured between you two “is a game?” Abby hissed, voice low, rough.
Your pulse spiked, but you kept your cool, rolling your eyes at her. “I think you’re mad ‘cause you know I’m right.”
Abby’s grip on your shirt tightened. “You make everything so fucking difficult ” she muttered, shaking her head.
“Oh yeah?” Your voice was barely a whisper now.
Abby’s eyes flickered to your mouth. Then, finally. finally. she broke. “Yeah.”
Her mouth crashed into yours, rough and frustrated, her hands sliding down to grab your waist, pressing you firmly against the wall. You gasped into it, hands flying to her arms, gripping her tight as she kissed you like she was trying to shut you up for good.
Like she was trying to prove something, to you, to herself maybe.
But she’d already lost. Because when she pulled back, breathing hard, you just smiled before speaking again. “Atta girl. Knew you’d crack.”
Abby groaned, dropping her head against your shoulder. “I hate you.”
“Mmn, no you don’t.” You grinned, running a hand through her hair. “But keep tellin’ yourself that, baby.” Her hands tightened on your waist.
Yeah, you’d won this round. But she still had a long way to go.

You enjoyed being Spencer's first girlfriend, just because you loved the fact that you got to be the one to ever hold his hand romantically, the one to kiss him or spend the night at his place.
Now, this was not your first relationship, but it was the first time that you didn't have to worry about whether or not they genuinely liked you because sex was the last thing on Spencer's mind, at least as far as you could tell.
Tonight was just like any other night. Spencer had gotten home from a case pretty early and asked if you had wanted to spend the night in which you accepted and packed an overnight bag.
You'd spent the night eating takeout and some documentary that Spencer had put on, but you weren't paying too much attention, you rubbed Spencer's knee which then gained his attention.
Spencer smiled and hesitantly leaned closer to you, and the two of you began to make out on the sofa. It was just a small little moment but then it started to get heated and before you knew it, you were on his lap.
The two of your lips moved in sync, and his hands were on your waist, then you began grinding against him, which had then had caused a shaky moan to fall from his lips.
"Mhm...was that a moan?" You giggled.
Spencer realized the noise he'd just made, and his eyes widened a bit, and he placed his hands onto your waist to stop you from moving any further.
You furrowed your brows. "Are you okay? I'm so sorry, Spencer...I didn't mean to overdo it." You quickly climbed off of him and took a seat beside him, hoping you didn't make him uncomfortable.
The two of you had been dating a year now, and while Spencer was a lot more comfortable when it came to you, he still was hesitant when it came to talking or doing anything intimate.
"No!" Spencer quickly said. "You didn't make me uncomfortable, just...wasn't expecting it."
"I'm sorry."
"Don't be, I wasn't expecting that, but it very clearly had an effect on me." He said with a sheepish tone, and that's when you could see the outline of his cock in his pants.
You tried not to stare but you couldn't help it and you just simply said, "Oh..."
Spencer spoke, "I think I'm ready."
"For what?"
"For you to have me." He took your hand and looked into your eyes. "Completely."
You looked into his eyes. "Are you sure?"
"I am." Spencer nodded. "I trust you, and I don't want to keep you waiting for so long."
You placed your bend back on his knee, this time in an assuring way. "Spence, baby, you don't need to worry about keeping me waiting, I'll only want this if I know you're ready."
Spencer knew you wouldn't rush him into anything he didn't want to do and that was something he appreciated about you.
But now it was time, he needed you and wanted you.
"I promise, I'm ready."
You smiled softly and reached over to slip your hand behind his neck, pulling him into a kiss to which Spencer immediately reciprocated.
Spencer pulled you back onto his lap as you two made out, his hands found your waist, his fingers dug into your waist, digging into your soft flesh as he got lost in the feeling of your tongues dancing together.
With his trembling hands, Spencer trailed down to the blouse that you were wearing. His fingers fumbled quickly with the buttons on her shirt, and you couldn't help but giggle about against his lips.
You pulled back and replaced his hands that were on your shirt with your own hands. "It's alright, let me do it for you."
One by one, you began to unbutton your shirt until you were simply left in your bra.
Spencer's eyes didn't look away, the way your tits were pushing up in the bra you were wearing, it was just too mesmerizing.
A small groan left his lips as his hands reached out to cup your breasts. They were so round and heavy in his hands, and he couldn't help but squeeze as much as he could, and occasionally, his fingers would run over your already head nipples through your bra.
You reached behind you so you could unclasp your bra, and you threw it somewhere on the floor.
Your bare chest was now fully on display for Spencer, who looked like a kid in a candy store.
Spencer leaned down and wrapped his lips around one of your nipples which caused a moan to fall from your lips and your back to arch.
That sound, it was like music to his ears, and he continued to suck gently on your nipple. Your hands went to his hair, tugging a bit, which caused him to moan around your nipple and send vibrations throughout your body.
You tasted so good. You were a perfect mixture of sweet and salty, and Spencer couldn't seem to get enough.
You couldn't stop yourself from moaning and groaning as Spencer paid a good amount of attention to each one of your nipples.
"I think..." You took a deep breath. "It's time for me to give you a little treat." A small smile had played onto your lips as you helped him out of his shirt, Spencer got goosebumps with how cold the room had suddenly felt.
You climbed off his lap and dropped down to your knees, and Spencer's lips parted. He was already hard, but he now he was really hard knowing what he was about to do to him.
Your hands reached for the zipper on his pants, and you smirked. "Now let's see..." Spencer lifted up his hips as you had helped him out of his pants and boxer briefs.
Wow, that's all you could think as he cock sprung free, not wanting to waste anymore time your hand wrapped around him, you began to purposely stroke him slowly.
He gasped as she wrapped her fingers around him, feeling the softness of her skin against his.
"Do you like this?" Your hand twisted around him and went up and down in all types of motions, drawing relentlessly moans from his lips.
Quickly Spencer nodded. "I-I do, yes..."
You were barely doing anything, and already it felt like too much, Spencer's nails dug into the couch, and his eyes squeezed shut.
"Uh, uh." You stopped and looked up at him. "If you don't look at me, I'll have to stop, do you understand?"
Spencer opened back up his eyes and looked at you and answered. "I-I understand."
"Good boy." Those words made him twitch in her hands. "Your cock is so pretty Spencer and I'm so glad I'll be the first and only girl to see this."
Spencer gulped and sheepishly spoke. "Can you, um..you know?"
You knew what he was asking for but you wanted him to directly ask you.
"I don't know, what do you need?"
Spencer hesitated. "Do I have to say it?"
"How can I know what you want me to do if you don't ask me specifically?" You smiled softly.
"Can you...use your mouth?" He asked.
You chuckled, "We'll work on that." And then you leaned in closer, your warm breath against his skin as you had taken his cock into your mouth.
Spencer's eyes widened at the feeling of your warm and wet mouth around him.
You ran your tongue up and down him, licking his tip and trying to take as much as you could down your throat. Spencer's head back against the couch, and his eyes rolled back. You sucked him off with eagerness and whatever you couldn't take in your mouth, you just jerked it.
Spencer could feel the tension building up within him. With everything you were giving him, he could feel himself getting closer.
But he didn't want to come just yet, so he spoke up. "Wait- wait..."
"Whats wrong?" You asked.
"Nothing, I just...I don't want to come so quickly."
You smiled softly. "It's okay if you do, that just shows I'm doing a good job."
"You definitely are." Spencer said, breathless. "I just...want to return the favor, please?"
You rose to your feet so you could pull down your pants and panties and then took a seat down onto the couch. Now it was Spencer's turn to be on his knees for you.
He pushed your legs apart, and his heart raced at the view of your glistening cunt before him, he licked his lips and looked at you. "Let me know if you don't like it, okay?"
You nodded and gasped as he leaned down, and his tongue had flicked out to taste test her. A groan left Spencer's lips at how good you tasted, so sweet.
Your hands went to his hair as he began to lick her like she was his last meal.
While Spencer had never touched a woman a day in his life, he had done a lot of reading, waiting for this moment and he did not want to disappoint you.
Your hips bucked up to his face as he wrapped his arms around your legs, holding you close as he didn't let a drop of you go to waste. His tongue wrapped around your clit and he gently sucked.
"God, Spencer!" Your back arched. "So good, how are you so good at this?"
It was a rhetorical question, but Spencer still wanted to answer. "I've done a lot of reading, although reading about it isn't the same as doing it, you taste amazing." He said as he returned back to what he was originally doing.
Moans filled up the living room, and your legs began to shake. "Don't fucking stop, Spence!"
Your thighs tightened around his head as you got closer and closer with every lick and flick against your clit.
Within seconds, you were left shaking as Spencer made you come harder than any man.
It took you a while to catch your breath, but when you did, you looked down at him and helped him up. "Let's go to your room."
Spencer quickly stood up and the two headed to his bedroom. "Get in the bed, lay down for me." You had instructed.
Spencer climbed into the bed and laid on his back, watching in awe as joined him in the bed, straddling is hips.
His cock brushed against your clit which made the both of you moan. "I'm going to make you feel so good baby..."
Spencer whined, "Please do."
Your hands ran over his chest before lining him up at your entrance, your wetness dripped onto the tip of his cock as your lowered yourself onto him completely.
"Ah.." Spencer shuddered.
"Look at me." You said as you began to rock your hips against him, Spencer's eyes snapped up to you, holding eye contact.
You were so tight around him, and it made it so hard for Spencer not to come on the spot.
"Oh, baby..." His hands went to your hips.
Spencer's cock only got harder with the many movements against him. You moved up and down, your ass and thighs slapping down on him.
You spoke, "Fuck me back baby."
His grip on your waist got more firm, and he began to help guide your movements. Spencer thrusted upwards to meet your movements at the perfect time.
Your eyes grew wide as he managed to find the perfect rhythm. With each thrust, her tits bounced, and he could feel her walls tighten around him. It was such a magnificent feeling that, he could sense you were close
Spencer reached down to her clit, his fingers trembling with anticipation. He needed her to come before he did. His thumb circled the sensitive nub, applying just the right amount of pressure. Your eyes shot open, meeting his with a look of surprise.
Your hips began to move faster, your breath hitched in your throat as you felt the beginnings of your climax building. Spencer could feel it, too, the way your walls fluttered around him, the way your muscles began to quiver. He knew he had you, knew he could give you what she wanted.
Spencer's thrust started to become more and more deliberate with each movement. With every moan that came from your lips it caused him to want to give you more.
His head fell back into the pillow at the feeling of your walls clenching around him.
Then you leaned forward, your hands on his chest as you began to ride him with eagerness.
Spencer watched, his eyes glued to the sight of how well your pussy swallowed his cock, your clit grinding against his pelvis. It was a sight that made him feel like he was going to combust at any given moment. He then reached up, his hands cupping your breasts as he squeezed and pinched your nipples in time with the movements.
"Do you like this?" You asked. "Do you like how well I'm taking your cock, babe?"
In response to your question, he moaned. He was starting to feel his release draw near as you didn't slow down the pace. The pressure in his balls grew with every stroke. All he could do was moan at your filthy words.
You threw your head back. "I'm so close."
"Me too, baby...me too."
Your movements were becoming erratic. You needed to come, and you weren't about to slow down until you did. Spencer could feel you tighten around him, your pussy clamping down onto him.
And then, a loud moan and desperate cry left your lips as you came. Your body shook with the force of your orgasm. The sensation was like nothing he had ever felt before, his own cock pulsing.
Your pussy was so tight around him and he was ready to let go. Spencer looked up at you as you rode out your pleasure, watching you come did something to him, knowing that he made you come, threw him over the edge.
And then, with a final, desperate thrust, Spencer came. His eyes rolled back in his head, his back arching off the bed as ropes of cum shot from his cock, filling you up.
Never in his life had he ever come that fast and hard.
You moaned softly, feeling his release inside of you. Both his and your juices mixed together leaked out of her as she pulled off of him and dropped to lay beside him, catching her breath.
There was a long silence that made Spencer feel uneasy, so he turned to look at you. "Was that good?"
You looked at him. "Was that good?" She repeated. "That was more than just good."
Spencer smiled.
"You sure that was your first time?" You joked.
Spencer chuckled. "It was, I've just done enough reading and watching to know a good amount."
You raised a brow. "Watching, hm?" You knew Spencer was a man, but you never really thought that he might've watched porn.
"Only for research purposes."
You chuckled. "Right....Right"
You laid your head onto Spencer's chest, still trying to catch your breath, Spencer looked up at the ceiling, really pleased with himself.
"Can we do that again?" He asked.
You looked up at him. "Sure, just.. let me catch my breath."

hiiii!!! can uu make a fic abt first time getting help from softie bf anton cuz reader is struggling getting off for weeks and him teasing reader while doing it😓 thank you so muchhh (note: reader and anton just started dating hehe)
istg i struggle sm whenever im writing smtg softer but im trying i promise😭
The light in Anton's room was dim, casting long shadows that danced with the flicker of candles he had lit, creating an ambiance of intimacy and warmth. The air was thick with the scent of jasmine, mingling with the subtle musk of his cologne. You sat on the edge of his plush bed, the softness of the sheets under you a stark contrast to the tension knotting inside you.
"I've been struggling," you confessed, your voice a mere whisper, your eyes downcast, feeling vulnerable yet strangely safe in his presence. Anton moved closer, his fingers brushing a strand of hair behind your ear, his touch igniting a warmth that spread through you.
"Struggling with what, my love?" His voice was a caress, wrapping around you like a velvet glove.
With a deep breath, you shared your secret, "I haven't been able to... reach climax. For weeks now." Your admission hung in the air, a delicate thing, waiting for his reaction.
His response was tender, his eyes filled with understanding and a soft desire to help. "Do you want me to try and help you?" he asked, his tone like silk, his hand gently squeezing yours in reassurance.
Your nod was shy but eager, your heart racing with both nervousness and anticipation. He leaned in, his lips meeting yours in a kiss that was both a question and an answer, slow, exploring, deepening until you felt the world narrowing down to just the sensation of his mouth on yours.
"Let's take our time," he murmured against your lips, his hands going to the buttons of your shirt, undoing them one by one with a patience that was both torturous and beautiful. His fingertips grazed your skin, leaving trails of fire, his eyes locked with yours, seeking your comfort, your consent with each touch.
He guided you back onto the bed, his body hovering over yours, his movements deliberate and gentle. His lips found your neck, kissing, nipping lightly, his breath hot against your skin, sending shivers down your spine. "Is this okay?" he'd whisper, his voice a siren's call, his hands exploring further, always with that soft touch that asked rather than demanded.
As he helped you out of your jeans, his fingers danced over your thighs, teasing, drawing patterns that made you squirm with need. His touch was like a whisper, just there, promising more. He watched you, his eyes dark with desire but bright with affection, as he moved closer to your core.
His teasing was exquisite, fingers tracing around where you craved him most, his breath warm against you, whispering praises, "You're so beautiful like this... so responsive," each word a brush stroke on the canvas of your arousal.
When he finally touched you, it was with a reverence, his fingers slow, circling, learning every gasp, every arch of your back. "Tell me what you need," he coaxed, his voice a velvet murmur, his touch becoming more intentional, drawing out your pleasure with a sensual rhythm.
The room filled with the sounds of your breaths, the rustle of sheets, and his soft encouragements, "Let me see you," "Feel this with me." Each command was gentle, each touch a promise, building you up to a crescendo you hadn't felt in weeks.
When the climax came, it was drawn from you like music from a well-played instrument, long, deep, resonating through every part of you. Anton held you through it, his kisses on your forehead, your cheeks, his whispers of love and praise a soothing balm to your racing heart.
After, as you lay entwined, his fingers tracing lazy patterns on your skin, he smiled, his voice a low, sensual promise, "We have all the time in the world to explore this together." His words were a vow of more nights like this, where love and desire merged into something profound and beautiful.

Part one: The Club
Authors note: sorry this took so long to post. I was going through a slip in grades, a writers block, and just a general unhappiness with some parts of this story. I've rewritten a good portion but I'm still unhappy with the smut, so any tips or comments would be greatful! This is being divided into two parts as I don't know how long the second one will be. If it's anything like this one? It'll be awhile.
Wc: 6500+

Miami is home to many kinds of people. Average citizens, thugs, hookers; and then there's you: a crime boss. You had an iron grip on your assets, even had a good relationship on the side with your girlfriend, Rio. Although, I should say ex-girlfriend now that she had betrayed you and turned you into the police.
Six years in prison wasn't a light sentence by any means, especially when you were thrown into a literal concrete box with no light and no human interaction.
Your sentence was for life, but you only spent six of them thanks to this rookie looking for a mentor in crime, who would eventually turn out to be your friend.
He was the one to coax you out of your forced retirement. You should have been laying low, staying away from your life of crime, you had argued; but he wasn't taking it. There were people who had moved in on your turf, and you needed to take it back. As the younger guy was persistent as he was infuriating, the idea was tempting, so here you were four years later as you continued to rebuild your crime empire from nearly the ground up.
Tonight though, you were sipping a glass of wine from the balcony of your penthouse overlooking the Miami skyline. The sunset was like a Bob Ross painting. Streaks of orange and pink tangled in the clouds in a tango, the sun illuminating through them like stained glass in a chapel.
You never knew how much you missed it when you came out of prison and back into the world. Now, you never took another sunset for granted, as who knew which one would be your lazy?
“Ellie!!”
The out-of-world trance you were in from the skyline was broken by the sound of one nagging apprentice.
Your friend has been insistently bugging you about going out to a nightclub to blow off some tension, maybe hook up with someone as a bonus. There were certain things that required attention, you had argued, and they couldn't wait, as they had a time frame. Did your friend care? Hell no! He practically tuned you out and left you with no other choice but to go with him to the nightclub he had been raving on about.
It was dangerous to go out to just any nightclub in the bustling city of Miami without doing research on its owner. Hell, it's dangerous to go to just any nightclub period, no matter where it was. It could belong to a drug cartel, a narc looking for vulnerable prey, or even worse, her.
Agatha Harkness.
She was your biggest competition in the crime world, and she was always two steps ahead of you. When you had escaped from that concrete box, she was the main onr who had made moves in on your turf.
She was just as aware of you as you were aware of her. It felt like she knew more about you than you knew about yourself sometimes, like she was living in your mind.
At the scene of where your jobs and crimes should have been, is a nicely painted note on a wall or a piece of paper from her that usually says something along the lines of, ‘better luck next time, sweetheart’, with a purple heart attached.
Every. Single. Time.
Truth be told, you unfortunately came to admire her when it came to how she would work. But it also frustrated you to no end. It's as if she somehow knew your intricately prepared jobs beforehand. Almost like she was a psychic or a fortune teller. And the worst part? She would leave no trace of evidence it was her behind, except for the hand-painted notes she left for you after.
It irks you more the fact that nobody has seen her face. Ever. She was more incognito than a drop in the ocean. This information also meant that she likely disguises herself as an everyday Sue. And there were many of those around Miami. So you had no idea what she looked like, and your friend could be dragging you directly into her web tonight.
Only one way to find out, you suppose.
So, here you were now, putting on a flowing, black dress that went ankle-length, and held a sewn-in pocket on the off-white inside. The dress had a slit in the front that stretched from the bottom to just above your knees, making it easier to not trip from limited leg movement. It was also strapless to prevent irritation from rubbing against your shoulders all night.
You had debated not putting on a wig, because who would recognize you? But then it dawned on you that it maybe wasn't best to stand out with turquoise dyed hair, especially if there was a certain rival there to spot you. So, it was a natural-colored wig for you tonight.
You placed a pocket knife in the cushioned slip inside your dress for safety measures. You never know who or what you'll encounter in a crowded nightclub. Especially in a city like Miami.
Upon standing in front of the mirror in your bedroom, you realized that, wow, you'd certainly bat a few eyes, to say the least. The dress hugged your curves in all the right places like it was suffocated saran wrap. And between the makeup and your hair? Bellissimo! Anyone who would see you wouldn't be able to take their eyes off of you, and you didn't know if that was going to be a good or bad thing.
The voice of your friend from the other side of your door breaks you out of your self-admiriful state,
“Hey, uccella canterina! If you spend any longer in there the club will go out of business!”
His exaggeration elicited a chuckle from you,
“I'm coming, I'm coming! Go start your car!”, you call out to him.
The faint sound of the front door closing indicates he's gone, and so you make sure you have everything before giving yourself another look over in the mirror. Please don't attract the wrong kind of attention, you think before exiting your room and heading for the front door.
The cool air nips and flows across your exposed skin as you step out of the doors to the outside. They close behind you with a click and the sound of a car revving its engine breaks the near silence of the night. Your friend is waiting in front of his sports car, and once he spots you, he sends a whistle your way.
“Damn, girl! You'll have ladies all over you tonight with that outfit!”
His words are genuine and they hold no underlying intentions. You get into the car still putting on your coat before replying to his statement,
“You really know how to make a girl feel special. I could say the same for you, dude! You're dashing, and I think you'll definitely have guys and gals all over your dick tonight.”
He shakes his head with amusement before pulling out of the driveway and looking behind him before taking off in the streets.
“You're too much, sometimes, girlie.”
The wind battles your put-together hair as your friend sped through the streets to the nightclub. Nighttime air did wonders for calming your racing mind.
There was something about the crisp ocean air that brought a calm mood upon you. Maybe it was the smell of saltwater, or maybe it was the cooler temperature of the air at night. Whatever it was, it was able to calm you, unlike the stuffy, humid air of the daytime. The air had such a powerful calming effect it was lulling you to sleep, almost like magic.
You hadn't even noticed that the car had arrived at its destination until your friend gently shook you awake by the shoulder,
“Hey, we're here. Come on!”
His voice betrays the excitement and anticipation that courses through his body, but he still tried to be gentle with waking you.
Your eyes took at least a minute to adjust to the bright lighting of the outside of the nightclub you were at. To say it was blinding was an understatement. It was like a flashlight was being shone in your eyes, and it burned for a moment until your eyes fully adjusted from your power nap. Only then, did you realize the nightclub your friend took you to.
It was E11even. The most exclusive club in Miami.
Your breath was taken away by the beauty of it. In your entire time of clubbing and doing jobs, you had never made a stop at E11even before. You've heard stories, but never ventured in yourself.
And the fact you haven't been here before worried you.
Who knew what kind of people lurked here? It was downtown Miami, after all.
Your friend was next to your door and seemed to notice the worry etched in your brow. His hand finds its way to your shoulder in a soft squeeze of reassurance.
“Hey, don't worry. I've been here before, and I can say nobody will recognize you. You blend in like a basic bitch any- ow! What was that for?”
You punch his arm at the playful jest with a shit-eating grin on your face.
“It felt necessary.”
He huffs and shakes his head before opening your door for you to get out.
“I don't want any wrinkles in this suit, stronza. You're lucky you're my best friend.”
You step out of the car and he closes the door behind you before locking it with the button on his keys.
It's only about ten minutes you both are waiting on the line for the door when you get to the entrance. Expecting to pay, you pull out your phone, but your friend says his name to the bouncer before he guides you in with a hand on your back. Your head swivels back to the bouncer fading from your view and then back to your friend with confusion. He laughs when he notices your perplexed state and says,
“I'm on the V.I.P. list.”
A smile paints its way on your lips before responding in a mocking tone,
“Look at you, climbing up the rungs of the ladder. Maybe you aren't the amateur I met three years ago.”
His unamused side-eye tells you he's unimpressed, but he shakes his head before leading you to the bar and sitting down.
The dance floor to your right was loud and bright; the exact opposite of the bar you were sitting down at. Lights over your heads were so dim you could barely notice them. Maybe it was a contrast done on purpose, or maybe it was a coincidence. You'd never know, but it was a nice feeling to not be under all the hot and bright lights of the main floor.
The bartender comes over to order your drinks. Your friend orders a couple of shots of tequila and you order a shot of vodka. His gaze turns back to you as the bar keep pours your shots.
“Hey, I've come a long way since then. I haven't been an amateur since I convinced you to shadow me-
“More like you cajoled me, but same thing I guess.”
He kicks your leg under the lip of the bar with a smug smirk.
“Payback, huh? You always were petty”, you say as the shots come back to you.
Your friend watches from beside you as you gulp the shot in one swallow with high regard. He huffs with amusement before turning to his two shots of tequila.
“You still know how to keep the party going.”
“That's because I don't crash from the first sips of alcohol, like you”, you jest with a shoulder bump.
“I may have been in prison for a while, but it's been a long time since then. I still know how to live it up.”
He knew you were right, declared by his lack of words after, but he continued to down the last shot of his drink before placing the shot glass back on the counter. Your thoughts wander back to your paranoia for a moment, but thankfully you're pulled back when a guy approaches your friend and looks him up and down with a hungry gaze.
The guy is clearly inebriated as he flirts with your friend.
“Hey, the name's Ruben. But you can call me anything you like.”
A chuckle escapes your lips at the flustered state of the companion beside you. His cheeks were dusted a light red as Ruben holds out a hand to him to take.
“I think that's your cue, amico”, your voice takes on a teasing tone as the guy, Ruben, practically drags him to the dance floor. Both stumble and eventually blend in with the crowd so much you can't spot them anymore.
The minutes seemed to drag on with shot after shot of vodka as the effects started to settle in.
Only when an older woman sat herself next to you, were you temporarily broken from your inebriated trance. She was the most ethereal thing you've seen. Long, wavy, chestnut locks that flowed around her. High cheekbones that just screamed confidence and power. A deep purple tailored suit jacket hugged her shoulders tightly with matching slacks and a white dress shirt. And, to top it off, her eyes were a captivating cerulean, and they were pulling you in like quicksand.
She caught your lingering gaze and gave you a hungry look up and down with a smirk. Her eyes dragged from top to bottom before they finally settled on your own eyes. Time seemed to stop as this happens, everything around you feeling like it was slowing down. It's not often, if at all, a stranger can get you this flustered by a look alone, and it made you feel small… vulnerable.
“What's a pretty girl like you doing here? First time clubbing?”
Her voice is raspy, but smooth like butter. And, fuck, did it do things to you.
A fire ignites itself in your gut and it's heat spreads throughout your body, making the room suddenly feel hot. You shift in your seat slightly to try and center yourself and get a grip. A random woman's (who you literally just met) voice shouldn't be making you feel like this. It's a stark contrast to your usual bravado, and it scared you.
You couldn't tell if it was just her, or the vodka, or even both, but whatever it was, it was doing things to you.
The clearing of her throat brought you back to the present and out of your intense staring competition with the bar counter. It reminded you that she had asked you something.
“Just looking to alleviate some stress, I guess. As for first time…? It isn't my first time clubbing, but it is my first time here.”
Your voice shakes slightly as you respond to her earlier question. What the fuck was wrong with you? You were never this nervous or jittery when you drank. Did this woman have you under a spell or something? This isn't like the fierce, cold crime boss you are.
A sly-smile dances across her lips as she takes in your reaction, like she's cornered her prey. She leans an elbow on the bar counter and places her hand on her palm and looks at you with an unreadable expression. But it's almost like she's analyzing you, picking apart every tissue, every cell in your body and studying them. She brings her shot glass of tequila to her lips and takes a big gulp. As the burning liquid slides down her throat, it bobs and you didn't think she could get any more captivating.
Her eyes snap back up to yours in a heated gaze, pupils dilated and full of hunger and want. It sent shockwaves of heat directly to your core, and your breath was stolen away until she spoke again,
“Well, that makes sense. I haven't seen you here before.”
And your voice cuts through before you could think,
“You a regular?”
She seemed to contemplate her answer for a second.
“I suppose you could say that, sweetheart.”
You turned your head away from her to hide your burning cheeks, not wanting to show how open you felt at that moment. And the way she said the word sweetheart felt oddly familiar, and it sent chills down your spine. But before you could question it further, her hand comes up to the side of your jaw and tilts your face to turn back towards her. Her hands. God, they were so rough yet tender at the same time.
Your heart felt like it was about to beat out of your chest when she looked you in the eyes again. The beauty of her eyes were like a siren call, wanting to pull you into the depths of their ocean.
Her eyes flicker down to your lips as her face inched closer. Slowly, but surely, you found yourself leaning in as well, as you knew this woman had you in her web, and there was no escape from it. At this moment, it didn't matter enough who she was or even could be.
Just as her breath ghosts over your lips, she pulls away and you just about whine until she speaks in that honey-smooth voice of hers,
“Let's take this somewhere more secluded, shall we?”
She offers a hand out to you, and you took it almost immediately, desperate for any physical contact with her. It wasn't just the vodka talking at this point, it was her. She had you wrapped around her finger like a thread, and she fucking knew it too. You would soon be wrapped around her fingers quite literally.
The way her fingers interlaced with yours as she gently guided you to wherever she was going felt so intimate, making you feel so fluttery inside. You'd gladly follow this mystery woman to the ends of the earth if it meant you could have her.
She eventually brings the both of you to a small storage closet in a more secluded area. The lighting was dim, and it wasn't spacious, but it would have to do.
As she turned to face you, you brought your free hand, the one not intertwined with hers, up to her face and your eyes scrape over every line, every contour of her face as if you were trying to burn it into your memory.
“Has anybody told you that you are absolutely bewitching?”
You are now the one to catch her off guard, her resolve nearly crumbles at the sound of your voice and your words. But, she composes herself and shoots back another witty remark,
“I could say the same for you, sweetheart. You are enthralling, like an enchantress.”
Her free hand comes up to cradle the back of your head before she closes the distance and finally, finally, presses her lips to yours in a burning kiss.
It was tender and soft at first, but soon dissolved into a desperate need and hunger for one another. Your hand gripped hers tighter as she backed you up into a table, your ass pressing into the refined wood. The kiss deepened as she lifted you by your thighs onto the table, tongues dancing together in a heated tango, and your bodies bumped and rocked against one another.
You wanted to commit the taste of her to memory as best as you could. Because if this was just a fleeting one-night stand, then you'll be damned if you don't make the most of it.
The buzz of your phone almost breaks you from your heated interaction, but as you go to reach for it, the woman grabs your wrist in a firm grip.
“Live in the moment honey”, she let's go of your hands and trails it slowly up your thigh, teasingly.
“I can make you feel so good”, her voice is the only other sound in the closet besides your combined breathing.
“Do you want that? You want me to make you feel good?” You nod your head frantically, so desperately. It was embarrassing, so pathetic, but you could care less at this moment.
She has you under her control and willing to obey every command she gives you.
“Take off your jacket. I want to see that sexy dress of yours being hidden from me.”
Her voice is dominant and commanding action, washing over you like a spell. And like so, you immediately start shedding the outer layer that is your coat. It was almost pathetic at how fast you got it off and on the floor of the closet. A chuckle escaped her lips, but then her breath hitched as the sight of you in your form-hugging dress greets her.
Her cerulean eyes danced over your body that was fitted by the dress. It accentuated all your curves and dips so well, and it made the hunger for you by this woman skyrocket. If it wasn't clear she was pulled to you before, then it should be now.
She takes notice of how you slightly spread your legs, as if almost on instinct, and her hands are immediately on your thighs, spreading them further for her to get leverage.
As she speaks, her hot breath fans over your face,
“You really are a gem, sweetheart. I might just have to keep you all to myself, don't I? But then again, you'd probably like that.”
She runs her hands up and down your thighs under your dress before using them as leverage to pull you flush to her. The table scoots from the wall a bit at the sudden movement. As you come in contact with her crotch, you feel the outline of a strap under her slacks, and by the judge of it, it's big.
The stimulation against you clit leaves a hitch in your breath, and she smiles through peppering kisses on your jaw.
“Someone seems excited. I'll have to work you open first, baby”, she drawls, “bet you haven't had a good fuck in awhile by anyone, haven't you?”
You don't want to admit it, but it's been ages since you've felt this way, been in this position.
It's been too long.
Her lips graze your earlobe, gently nipping at it before moving slowly down your jawline, and eventually the junction of your neck. The feeling of her tongue and teeth marking up your neck was a sensation you were once positive you wouldn't feel again, but here you were, under this woman and she was giving it to you.
Embarrassment flooded through your veins at the prospect of admitting how long you've been denied an orgasm, but it was inevitable. So as you nod your head, she coos in an almost-teasing way,
“Poor thing. Seems like mommy will have to change that then, yeah?”
Holy fuck.
That word.
Mommy.
You think your soul just left your body and ascended at the way she called herself ‘mommy'. Normally you wouldn't fold like this for anyone. Anyone. But with her? It just felt so right. The tight resolve you always had crumbled away in an instant for her and you only met her not even ten minutes ago. She has you under her spell, and you wouldn't have it any other way.
You feel her lips graze a certain spot on your neck before biting down into it and sucking harshly. A gasp leaves your throat at the sudden sensation, but instead of it hurting like it should, it actually felt really good.
Fuck, you thought. Did you have a pain kink now?
The way her lips nipped and sucked at your neck felt heavenly, it was like she was staking a claim over you. Your friend would have questions come tomorrow, but you could care less. All you cared about in this moment was this divine woman hovering over you right now.
Her lips roughly pull away from your neck with a ‘pop’, a trail of saliva connecting her lips to a newly forming bruise on your neck. A satisfied smirk lit up her face, but something told you she was far from over.
Her fingers trailing on the inside of your thighs and inching closer to your core is what brings you back to earth. With this close-up, you might have a new thing to obsess over on her: her hands. They appear like they have aged like fine wine, with how taut the skin around her veins were, and the sheer power that exuded from them.
Her long, elegant fingers dance and stroke along your inner thighs so light it felt like she was almost tickling you. It was intentionally teasing, and it was driving you up the wall (almost literally!).
The teasing hand strokes along your thigh for a moment longer before dipping in the waistband of your underwear and pulling them straight down your legs. And you swear a moan escaped her throat as she caught just how wet you were through the widened slit in your dress.
“Fuck, baby you're dripping. This all for me? For mommy?”
If it was possible, her words made you even wetter. Possibly you also had a newfound voice kink for this captivating woman, amongst other things you'd discover tonight.
She gets on her knees in front of your core and her left hand was stroking along the inside of your folds, gathering your wetness as a lube for her fingers. Her hand stilled for a moment before she pushed two of those amazing fingers in your dripping hole, and the sudden action made you throw your head back with the most obscene sound you've made in your life. The pace was slow at first, but quickly built a crescendo as her lips attached onto your clit and began to suck on it.
It was intense the way she fucked and twisted her fingers into you, and every bump and ridge of them hit the right spots. Her lips were still wrapped around your pearl and continued their sucking motion while her tongue mapped something out, a word maybe. Her name? There was no way you could tell.
“You taste so good, sweetheart. Absolutely divine”, she all but groans out. The vibration against your bundle of nerves seems to stimulate it more, and it sends shockwaves throughout your core. A raging inferno pulsed through you. An unstoppable inferno, at that.
“Your pussy is so delectable. It tastes like it was made for me, and it's all mine.”
She soon added a third finger without you noticing, and the initial stretch burned so good.
“Oh! Oh, shit. Oh my god!”
Your breaths are coming out in ragged gasps as her fingers curl and uncurl into that one spongey spot inside of you, and she drags another sinful moan from your throat. She revels in every millisecond of it with a dark look.
Liquid fire felt like it was coursing through your body with every curl of her fingers, and every suck of her lips on your clit. It felt absolutely divine. Her lips and fingers combined were the eighth wonder of the world. The world you stood on and shared with her.
Her fingers played you like a violin. So intricate, but still holding great power behind them. Still so quick, anticipating the next second ahead. She was anticipating the next second of your approaching release like reading ahead in her sheet music. You were her sheet music.
Your release approaches quickly, and as you're about to tip over the edge, she rises up from her spot in between your legs and crashes her lips on yours, still fucking you in a harshly fast rhythm with her fingers.
“I'm so close. Please, let me cum!”
Your words seem to have a deep effect on her as she looks at you through hooded eyes.
“Go on. Cum for me, baby. I want to see and hear you as I bring you to the edge.”
Those words are what broke the camel's back, and it feels like a tsunami crashing over you with how strong your release was. Your entire body jerks and arches into hers as you grasp onto her shoulders, trying to steady yourself through what may be the most powerful orgasm you've had yet.
The aggressive waves of your high soon became shallow pushes against the shore as you came back to your senses. A soft brush of her fingers tucking your hair behind your ear was what eventually brought you back down from Mars.
Your new obsession stood over you like a statue, pupils dilated and a deep fire in her eyes as she raked over your disheveled state with pride. She gently withdrew her fingers from your cunt with an unholy sound, and a small whine from your throat.
“God, you're so beautiful, and you taste so good”, she moans as she sucks the residue of your orgasm off of her fingers, and looks you in the eyes as she does so. The sight of her licking and sucking your essence of her fingers could have made you cum again from how hot she looked doing it.
“I can't wait to see how well you fit around my cock, pretty girl.”
One of her strong hands comes up to caress the side of your face, her thumb stroking your cheek in a loving way almost, before pulling you upfor a quick, messy kiss. Her other hand trails down to her slacks and undoes the clip and zipper binding them together. She pulls away from the kiss and uses her other hand to push the slacks down her thighs and to pool at her ankles.
Around her hips and thighs is a buckled harness, and in the center of it was a large, purple dildo. It was definitely larger than any strap you've taken previously, and the thought of it stretching you out further than her fingers had made your mouth water like a starved woman. She caught you staring the strap down and with a knowing look, she simply tilted your chin up so the only thing you could see was her blazing, lustful eyes. Most of the cerulean of her irises was blown out by her pupils, and it looked like she was a feral animal in heat, but still holding some semblance of control. There was no way this was just a quick fuck in a closet, or at least you hoped.
“You're a big girl. You can take it, can't you?”
Her words were more on the teasing side, but, nonetheless, it was still a genuine question. All you could respond with is a nod, as words weren't coming to you at the moment. But this woman wasn't having it as she gripped your chin between her pointer finger and thumb as she made sure you weren't able to look away.
“I want words, sweetheart. You can take mommy's cock, can't you?”
Fuck, did her voice do things to you. You naturally had to obey her, like it was your job. Who knows what would happen if you didn't? Her alluring voice seemed to have a hypnotizing effect on you, pulling you further into the dark depths of her ocean.
“Yes, mommy.”
Your voice was still shaky from the remnants of your previous orgasm, but it still conveyed the point to her as she lined up the tip of her strap with the entrance of your cunt. Her eyes seem to glaze over with an unfamiliar look, like something has stirred inside of her. But it is only for a moment, because as soon as it appears, it disappears just as quick. She starts to glide in, and as she does, she groans in pleasure almost as if she could actually feel you clenching around her.
Of course, she can actually feel you, but where's the fun in telling the person, who is your rival, just exactly who you are? Why would she give herself away when she knows you'll eventually put two and two together. By the time you will, she thinks, it will be too late. The thought brings a smile to Agatha's face at the thought of the grand reveal to you. Not only is she your rival, who you've been fuming over (but also admiring), but she is also a witch. It takes everything in her to not let it show on her face, trying to gain some self-control over her thoughts. Once her plan unfolds, you'd be at her mercy and she would have finally won.
That self control is thrown out the window when she feels your walls flutter around her strap, and it draws a strangled groan from her lips.
The pace she sets is far from gentle, and it's partly because she felt you had enough preparation from her fingers and her tongue. So, why the need to be gentle? It wasn't necessary in her eyes. After all, it was your fault that she lost her control. But it was also partly for the fact she lost control in the first place.
Her hands fly to your still clothed breasts and gives them a firm squeeze as her hips plow into you relentlessly. The jarring motion of her rough thrusting keeps making the table you're plopped on hit the wall, like a metronome gradually increasing its tempo. As she starts feeling you slide backwards on the cool wood, her hands move from your tits down to your ass, and she grabs onto your cheeks and yanks you forward, holding onto you.
The force of her thrusts start to increase as she chases her high. It's far, but so near at the same time. In this moment, she needed you like the air she breathed. All your curves calling out to her like a prize to be taken, the platinum trophy for her hard work.
When she looks down at you, Agatha feels something inside her stir slightly.
Originally, her whole plan was to lure you into her nightclub and fuck your brains out, then blackmail you with the threat of going back to prison. But, looking into your fucked-out face, she begins to second-guess her motives.
Sure, you encroached on her hard earned territory, tried fumbling with her assets, and overall you were a massive thorn in her side, but she found a weird attraction to you. Sure, it was her who had stolen your territory and you were rightfully warning it back, but still. She wanted to cut you open and watch you bleed, like any rival would, but she couldn't find it right to do so.
What was wrong with her? Is she really feeling something for you, her rival? The thought is laughable. No way would she let one time fucking you into submission change her heart. She is still going to go through with her plan, no matter how much her gut is screaming at her not to.
Good thing she had Wanda, her second-in-command to get your friend excited to drag you along here, because now you were in her sticky snare with no means of escape.
One of her hands snakes from your ass, around your waist, and slips between your folds to find your clit. The slight graze of her fingers on your clit, while she continues pounding into you with bruising force, is enough to make your hips buck into hers.
You were still sensitive from the orgasm she pulled from you with her tongue and fingers just before, so your next was quickly approaching on the horizon. Agatha originally thought of torturing you, and dragging out your orgasm, but she decided against it as she was desperate for release herself. Also, she was tired from managing a nightclub while devising a plan against you, so she decided to go easy on you tonight.
The swipes of her thumb become faster and more rough as it presses harder into your bundle of nerves, which strangles a pornographic moan out from your lips. The sound did wonders to her own impending orgasm, and a low groan came from her as she felt her peak near closer. Her powerful thrusts were so jarring in their force that you were convinced you'd have bruises, alongside the ones on your neck.
Agatha found herself enamored with you, unable to get enough. Her glass would seem to never be full when it comes to you. She just wants more and more, and more; she was so greedy to drink in every last drop of you until there was nothing left.
The signs of her impending orgasm were clear as day when her thrusts started becoming sloppy and uneven; there was no set tempo and obscene sounds were coming out from both of your mouths. And they blended together so much so you couldn't tell who's moan came from who's mouth, and vice-versa. it was like an ideal choir; sounding like one voice.
Your voice was a pleading chant as you begged this goddess of a woman to give you what you so desperately craved.
“Oh- fuck! Mommy! Mommy, please, I need- I need to cum!”
‘Mommy’ came off your tongue like a sin never to be uttered. But if it was a sin, why did it felt so good? Because, with this woman, you found you'd commit any sin in the world for her.
Lips collided, tongues tangled, and hands flew anywhere they could find purchase to gain a sense of ground. They flew to hair, faces, and elsewhere they touched. It was a comboluded and tangled mess of limbs.
The messy drive of her hips falters for a second, before they resume their sloppy movement until stilling completely a moment later. A drawn out, pleasure-filled groan leaves her lips as her orgasm completely overtakes her entire body.
Agatha has never cum this hard or fast for any woman in her life, not even Rio, but you seem to be the outlier in this scenario. You're the unknown that she can't tell if she hates or is now genuinely interested in. Her plan was to blackmail you into giving all your assets to her, and leave you bleeding, but here she is second-guessing herself yet again. The thought of doing that to you isn't sitting right with her the longer it marinates in her thoughts.
Fuck. She needs to get a grip.
Her hair drapes like a curtain over her face, concealing it from all sides except facing your own face. Speaking of your face, yours was totally and utterly wrecked. Your cheeks and neck held a deep, crimson flush that spread like a wildfire. It was so hot it even felt like a wildfire.
Agatha's cerulean eyes travel and map your entire face, as if she was committing it to memory. There was a hint of desire still lingering in her blown out pupils, but there was a hint of something else; it was something you couldn't put your finger on.
The last thing you felt before you slipped into unconsciousness was a purple haze surrounding your mind like a thick cocoon.
