This hurts, but also, it's not the kind of thought we like to acknowledge.

I'm so glad this line is in the film. It hurts, it's not a good thought, but these thoughts exist and it's so important to let people know that they are not alone.

Hi it's @clone-anon and I thought I'd leave a story

You sat and sighed on the couch, feeling a little lonely. You received a comm from Tech, asking if you were available. You replied in the affirmative and soon he was at your doorstep. You couldn't help but smile at each other.

"Do you need help with something," you asked.

"Ah, no," he replied, coming in. "I was simply looking for companionship."

You couldn't help but let your smile broaden.

"I'm glad you're here," you responded, inviting him to sit.

The evening was immediately better. You talked about what you had both been up to and shared some food. Hours passed, but it didn't feel that way. Tech was able to talk about complicated subjects, but always wanted to learn more about you and the way your mind worked.

You got up to put some things away in the kitchen and came back to find him lying on the couch with his eyes closed. Your heart soared to see him so comfortable. You thought he might be asleep, but when you went to turn out the lights, he moved and gestured for you to come over. The gears in his head turned as he considered how to word his question.

"Would you, perhaps, like to cuddle?"

You nodded and joined him. Tech pulled you close, letting you lay your head on his chest. He gently ran his hand through your hair. You could feel him move a little nervously and gave him a reassuring squeeze.

"This is nice," you said.

He let out a more relaxed breath and added, "It is indeed."
