♡ TW: break-up, angst, hung-up yandere, anger issues, insecurity, threats to regrets
♡ GN reader
Thinking about pro-athlete ex-boyfriend…
You know, the one you broke up with because he couldn't focus on anything but his career, the one you just couldn’t stand by and watch any longer as he nearly ran his health into the ground—not to mention your relationship—all to reach his goals.
He’d been so mean—meaner than you ever thought possible when you told him you couldn’t do this anymore—said it was a real class act of you to abandon him now when it mattered most. He’d made it about you not wanting a no-known sportsman for a boyfriend, how you never believed in him anyway, how you never cheered for him, how he thinks you don’t even want to see him succeed.
He’d been so loud and so ugly you’d been in shock for weeks afterward, unable to wrap your head around it. You didn’t even dare tell anyone—feeling it was a beast of burden you ought to keep for yourself. Oddly enough, you felt that if anyone knew or saw him like that, it would be not just detrimental to him and his image but embarrassing for you both.
And you hadn't spoken to him since. At least not face-to-face. He’d sent you a few drunk texts then and there, which you’d replied to in short, though mostly ignored. You’d thought about blocking him at one point, but you didn’t want to be dramatic, either. And suppose, in some way, you were still waiting for an apology.
But months passed, and nothing like it ever came, and so, instead of being bitter, you accepted that was just how the two of you ended. And that was that.
Still, it's a little awkward. You wonder if you should congratulate him on his rise in popularity, how he’s finally getting all those long hours spent training back in full—but somehow, you feel it would just sound petty coming from you. And so, you don’t bother.
He’s got other people in his life cheering him on now—he doesn’t need a measly text from his ex. No, it's better to leave it be, is what you think.
Which is why it’s surprising when you get the dinner invitation.
And following the initial surprise, you don’t really know what to expect of it either. But you end up accepting—some part out of curiosity, wondering what he might want after all this time, and another part hopeful it was to finally address the awful break up so that the both of you could move on without it hanging heavy over your heads and hearts.
This, however, was the last thing you had in mind when sitting down with him for the first time in a long time.
“Will you marry me?”
Your whole body flares up with something reminiscent of the feeling when you trip and fall—that type of split burn that rushes through you from head to toe and then leaves you feeling cold all over. Heart in your throat, you’re speechless.
Or no, you just don’t know where to begin.
“What are you doing?” you end up accusing—a little too harshly, maybe, but who could blame you? Looking around, you’re glad your table’s in a more private sector of the restaurant before you look back at him, eyes wide and brows knit.
“I–we broke up a year ago and haven’t seen each other since—and you’re—” Your eyes fall back to the thing in his hands. It’s an outrageous ring. “Asking me to marry you?”
He makes no move to withdraw the offer—keeping his hands where they are, on your side of the table. “You said yes to the dinner. That must mean something. I thought—”
“Yeah. It means that I still worry about you,” you say. “It doesn't mean–”
“I fought my way up. I’m finally at the top,” he cuts you off in earnest. “I’m the best, and the world finally knows it now–”
“I don't care about any of that,” you state, feeling it should have been something you told him from the very beginning. “I'm sorry. But I never cared about you being the best. I just wanted…”
You just wanted the two of you to be like other couples—together and happy. You just wanted that to be enough, but it never was for him.
“Never mind…” you end up saying. “I think I should go.”
You’re about to get up when his hand, suddenly around your wrist, tightens in a harsh grip.
“I don't think you understand,” he utters, voice lowered with a hint of a growl. “It’s either this ring or I bury you in rumors that won’t leave you a moment’s worth of peace.”
You go stiff while looking back at him.
Did he just… did he just threaten you?
You blink. He's got that same warped expression you remember from the last time you saw him, that very odd look as if the guy you know has been switched out with someone entirely different.
Only this time, it just as quickly disappears, and he lets go of your wrist, quickly pulling his hand to himself.
“I’m sorry, I didn’t mean that–I’m just—” he apologizes with a stutter, looking startled.
He puts his face in his hands. Then there's a sound—close to a sob.
“I’m just a mess without you.”
Goosebumps rise on the surface of your skin when hearing it. And swallowing thickly, you sit back down again, albeit a bit begrudgingly. But spotting how he trembles, you just can’t stop feeling sorry for him.
You sigh. “No, you’re not. You just…” Reaching across the table, you stroke his arm. “You just lose your head a little sometimes, that’s all.”
He peaks up from his hands. A sheen under his eyes reflects the ceiling light, and your heart twists in your chest.
He really is a mess.
“But I know you…” you try smiling. “You were always destined for greatness.”
He takes your offered hand in his, stroking it, then sniffs, voice fluttering weakly, “Yeah, well…”
He keeps his head low, resting it in his other hand as if he just couldn't muster the strength to sit straight or even attempt to pull himself together.
“If I'm such a great guy, why wouldn’t you stay?”
He sounds as if he’s been holding things back for the entirety of the year since you left. Broken now... it's all spilling out.
“Because," you start, even though your throat’s tight and you’re fighting back tears of your own, your mind hasn’t changed.
You didn’t come here to get back together.
"You want to go places, I just can’t follow.”

Jumping The Gun
or: the one where John Price fucks the idea of marriage into you.

a/n: My Whole Life by Alina Baraz *chefs kiss*
Everyone in the 141 was shocked when John Price came back after taking a month an a half off for leave with a golden ring on his ring finger, a new picture frame to place on his desk, and practically jumping off the roof to fill out more paperwork for a special someone. Again.
You were his third marriage.
John was good at making quick decisions, making up his mind at the exact right time when it was do or die. But the old man was a complete klutz when it came to love.
The first marriage, admittedly, was never gonna last long. He was fresh out of highschool, still in the infantry and married his highschool sweetheart. His parents were sceptical but supportive. It wasn’t uncommon to marry early, hell, his parents did so why couldn’t he?
It just wasn’t in the cards.
The distance and the worry was just too much. The divorce was clean cut since they didn’t have any kids and we’re still young. Him and his ex-wife, Cara, were still fairly close. He’d get a call from the woman and her husband (surprisingly) to come over for dinner every once in a while. No bad blood.
But that second marriage? John was a goddamn idiot.
Was it his fault he married with his eyes and not with his brain? Yes. A man is still a man at the end of the day. You see a woman with an amazing set of knockers on her, pretty blue eyes, skinny waist and blonde hair— you’d fall for it too!
She was obnoxious, loud, and always, always, always needed new clothes, shoes, hair and nails done. Now John had no problem spending on his woman, he’d bring down Jupiter if had to. The problem was she complained and whined. Complained about the clothes not being ‘high quality enough,’ the house not being big enough, the brand new convertible not pink enough. Whined when she went over the already pricey budget the man set for her, that she couldn’t spend his life savings on her, that John was too hairy, ran too warm, too tall—no fucking sense.
He got out of the marriage by the scrape of his teeth, lucky that his siblings convinced him to get a prenup. She left with no pounds to her name, shoving all her belongings in that hot pink convertible and crying that no money went to her when the captain had sold the house.
But you? Oh you. His honey, sweet girl, little wanderer— you were the real deal.
John was walking with a couple friends heading to some bar a few hours after being back in the UK. You were walking the opposite direction, bags from different stores after a day of shopping in your hand. You looked like a model, long black trench coat on, a fitted baby blue crop top, black leather shorts that showed off the tattoos that went down your legs, slouched heeled boots that went mid calf. Curls blowing in the wind, you thankfully hadn’t noticed the hairy fellow till you bumped into him.
“You alright?”
Your brown eyes met his blue ones as he steadied you upright. You were awe struck, as if you were meeting a famous person on the street but you had just ran into a good looking older, muscular, brunette with a few stray grey hairs. You slowly started nodding, laughing aloud at yourself at how dumb you probably looked. “ ‘M just fine.” You said breathlessly.
You started to hear the passing cars, bustle of the streets and the murmur from your phone as your friend on the line was calling out to you. “Shit, I-I gotta go.”
And your feet was guiding you away without another word but your eyes were still glued to the man as you walked away. Looking back as he watched you walk away. You chuckles as you got back on the phone with your friend, disappearing into the croud.
The second time he saw you he was heading for a tea, as he walked past ‘Walker Travel Agency.’ John glanced inside and there a woman sat— no— you, sat turning in your chair towards the computer as you spoke to someone through your Bluetooth. You were dressed in an oversized white button up, black slacks, hair now pin straight in a low ponytail, pinned back by a few purple clips with very a light blush on your cheeks.
Even dressed casually, you were a sight for sore eyes. He tried his best not to look like a creep as he finally went to go get his tea but his eyes were glued to you as he walked past the office again. He figured it was fine just this once. Twice, three times— okay, maybe a forth that was completely out of the way of the military base and his own home but this was fine.
He was just getting tea after all.
But the forth time you stood by the water cooler sipping water, you caught those blue eyes. A small smile formed on your face as he tripped a bit once he saw you finally looking back at him. You gave him a small, shy wave with your fingers before he completely passed the building. Your angelic smile growing wider as he passed the building again to get to his car.
And that continued for another week, waves and smiles and stupid blushes that made his heart jump outs until he finally got the courage to pop his head in. He’d just say hello, this was a silly crush. Nothing more, nothing less.
The doorbell chimed once the door opened and you immediately sat straight in your chair, as you were trained to do when a potential customer came in.
“I was thinking of a trip?”
No he wasn’t. He knew that, you knew that by the way he was completely dressed in military attire and kept staring at you instead of the posters of different vacation spots on the wall. But you nodded your head, gesturing for him to take a seat in front of your desk.
“Where would you like to go sir?”
You two hit it off after that. John would pop his head in, leaving thirty minutes before his lunch break even started just to get his little dose of you, before running off to get a tea. You even started making tea so he didn’t have to go to the coffee shop.
Right, it was his lunch break?
You’d made sure to start packing lunch for two and arranging meetings so your lunch break was suddenly at the same time as his. You didn’t know why you did it for your new friend, it just felt right. You made that forty something year old man feel like a teenager again, he couldn’t just sit on this crush forever. He wouldn’t.
*Care to join me for a pint after work?*
A simple text that he’d debated on for two days had him flushed.
*new message*
Don’t usually drink beer :(
Two days down the drain. Maybe he should’ve asked for dinner instead? Or a movie? A walk? Too fucking causal—
*new message*
but if you’re the one asking, how can I say no?
text me where baby :))
Gaz had to make sure he wasn’t sick before he left work that day because he was as red as a cherry tomato.
You laid it out clean to John that you weren’t ready for a relationship.
“ ‘M too flighty ya see.”
“How so?” You two had already been in the crowded pub at a booth, you’d been chatting for 3 hours already senselessly. One pint for each of you, you weren’t good with beer while John just didn’t wanna make a drunken mistake.
“I told you I’ve just been here for a year, right?”
He hummed, nodding for you to continue.
“Well I was in Brazil before that, Osaka for a couple months before that. DR, LA and France before all that.”
“Oh, you’re a real traveler I see.”
“More than you.” You smirked and John laughed, “Think you can beat me sweetheart? Been all over the world ‘nd back. Thrice over.”
You teased, “I can beat’cha soon enough, just wait on it.” You sighed, picking up your half empty glass to take a sip, “But really, a relationship right now is a no-can-do for me. I’d hate to waste yer time after you’ve been so kind t’me honey.”
“Not a single moment with you has been a waste’ve time, believe me [+].” It was gentle but stern, your fingers brushed over the table which made your heart race faster.
John was too sweet, sinkingly so. It made you question how his marriages didn’t work sometimes but you kept your mouth shut about it. You gave him a smile, “I wouldn’t mind bein fuck buddies though.”
His thick eyebrows furrowed together, “Oh John come on now, you ain’t that old!”
Friends who fucked, he knew what it was. But with you? Someone that he’d grown to care for? This was a line he preferred not to cross.
But damn, those brown eyes under the dim light, the mid length blow out that went just below your shoulders, your long sleeve flared blouse that showed off your cleavage just right, wasn’t helping. He hadn’t even realized he’d given you a ‘sounds good to me’ before you gave him an okay and went on to another topic as if you two hadn’t just agreeded to be sex partners.
The night came to a close around 10:50, John didn’t want you at the station by yourself late at night since you were a woman so he took you home.
“I’m a grown woman, John.” You insisted for the thousandth time.
“Yer a grown woman that ‘m drivin home. Exactly. Yer right.” John nodded along with you nonchalantly and you groaned into a giggling fit, no longer being able to fight with him over this.
You pulled up to your apartment and pointed out a parking spot, John followed suit. Thinking you’d probably rather get out of a parked car than hold up traffic on a Friday night.
You got out the car, looking between your apartment building and the older man.
“You wanna come up?”
John fucking Price was a god damn problem.
The first time you two fucked, was just to dip your toes in. See if the older man could handle you, keep up with what you were up to.
The second time was for good measure. You had to make sure it wasn’t an illusion! Get your bearings in order.
The third time— looking back you should’ve known that’s when he caught you. And I mean really had you for good because you’d be damned if he was fucking some other girl the way he was fucking you.
You had to have a cordial briefing with your friend group, explaining to them how you were now a born again Christian because John didn’t just have you seeing stars. No— you saw Jesus resurrecting from the tomb, legs shaking as they were wrapped around his hips. Chest to chest, as John knelt on the bed, fucking up into you through your orgasm. You’d pushed yourself away from him but he snatched you up just before you passed out.
“Stay with me lovie, can’t have you passin out on me can I?” His pink lips connected with your neck again. Your entire body was trembling. This fool, this barbarian, loooved making you a dummy on his dick. You’d learned that the second time. But this time, fuck, it was strange.
“Strange, baby, it feels- mmph s-strange.” You mumbled through a moan, you were limp as he held onto your waist with one arm, bouncing you just the way he needed you to. He was practically using you as a sex toy and you hadn’t minded. You were drooling on his shoulder and down your own face and that freak kept lapping it up. Opening your mouth so he could spit it back in you and suck on your tongue.
“Your tight little cunt squeezing me so good. You love when I suck your tongue, don’t you pretty?”
Your eyes were rolling into each other again, “loooove it sooooo much Daddy.”
“Come on, kiss me while I give it to you.” He didn’t have to tell you twice to get your lips to latch onto his. John kissed so romantic like, slow, desperate— like he was trying to mold the two of you together and you loved it. John’s thrusts got fast, barley pulling out with every swing of his hips up into your tight walls. But he kept hitting your g-spot, clit rubbing right at the bottom of his hairy abdomen. It felt amazing— too amazing—
You yankied yourself away from him again, “wait! ‘M serious- J- fuuuck- John! It’s too weird! I’m- shit- ‘m gonna pee!”
“ ‘S not pee, let it go.” He gruffed, groaning at how good you felt around his swelling cock.
“It isssss!” You whined out, slapping at his arms but he wouldn’t let up.
“Come on sweet girl, squirt all over me. Wanna be covered in you.”
And the crash came, water works flying every which way and your eyes. John came right after you, babbling about how good you were, how amazing you felt around him. But you were crying real tears now, you swore you just peed all over this older man’s thighs even though you told him it was weird. It was humiliating.
“I told you I was gonna pee, ‘nd you didn’t listen!” You hiccuped, covering your face as John laid you back on the bed. He’s eyebrow lifted as he slipped out of you, removing the filled condom and examining the situation that was now on his pudgy stomach, his thighs, your legs and the bed.
“Sweetie,” he started chuckling at how cute were being, you shoved one of your wobbly legs at his chest. It didn’t do any damage. “Have you never squirted before?”
“No,” you sniffled, “ ‘s just pee!”
“ ‘S not the same thing lovie.”
“Yes it issss!” You retorted, going to kick him again but your own leg giving up on you.
John rubbing your thighs as he got inbetween them. Your pussy was glistening in the rooms light, too mesmerized, he let the pads of two fingers take a swipe of all the juices that sat on your vulva and putting it in his mouth. He moaned at the taste.
You gasped, “John!” You hadn’t meant to see the sight through your fingers but shit, it was making you even more wet. The older saw you squirm, shaking his head, he needed a front row seat this time. He lifted your thighs over his shoulders so his mouth was right in front of your cunt.
“Gotta feel it on my tongue baby, won’t you? Please?”
You two went on like that, calling each other whenever you needed. You were always the first to know when the Captain got home, before his own family, because he’d have his fat cock in you by the time you could finish saying ‘welcome back.’
John couldn’t lie and say it was inconvenient getting to let off steam other than exercising or taking a swing of bourbon. It didn’t help that you were actually such a sweet girl, he loved being around. You two would hang out when you had the chance, going out and about or just watching a movie at home. When you were out, all dolled up in a mid thigh, navy blue sun dress and white heels showed off those gorgeous legs, curls in a high ponytail— you two looked like a sugar daddy and a sugar baby. But you never cared about the looks people gave you, you’d grab his larger hand in yours that was freshly manicured with long soft yellow nails and swing your hands back and forth. Even taking the time to introduce the man properly when you ran into your friends on the street.
“He’s a real carin, smart and just all around incredible guy I swear,” Your eyes would beam at him, so longingly then back to your friends and back to John because you always found yourself getting lost in his pretty ocean blue eyes. “I’m real thankful to have met a man like him.”
How could he have not fallin for you?
It was when you and John accidentally ran into his parents while casually hanging out in his home town he knew he just had to marry you.
You were as charismatic as ever, your southern charm easily pulling them in. John thought for sure they’d be more careful since you were younger than the past two women that John brought to meet them. But despite how eccentric you looked in your shorts that hung off your hips, waist beads around your stomach, crop top and the tattoos that his parents generation definitely weren’t used to, layered necklaces and bracelets— they easily fell for you just like he did.
“You sure ‘bout takin them out for lunch, [+]? You don’t have to.”
You rolled your eyes, pulling out of the parking spot and onto the road.
“It’s only right to treat the folks who raised you John. They’ve done well with you, ‘nd ‘m sure your siblings ‘re just as kind. Plus I kinda wanna see more of your smile through your mom. It’s sooo fuckin cute.”
Yup.
That was right there confirmed, he was gonna put a ring on that fuckin finger. He could’ve blurted it out while at that quaint little lunch you had. His parents adored you, even got your number down to give you a call if you needed anything while you were still in the UK.
The man was gonna get you to stay in the UK.
The first time he’d asked, it was too fucking casual. Again, the man was always too eager. Tripping and falling through love was a bad habit of his. You’d laughed in his face.
“John, baby, please be serious.” You threw your braids up in a ponytail, tip toeing around the room to get your clothes. John did that on purpose, the old man always wanted a little more time with you, to see the sunrise kissing your skin perfectly as that after glow of sex looked gorgeous on you.
He’d pout under that thick beard, fuckin precious bear, “ ‘M bein serious. Want us t’get married, be happy.”
“Don’t you leave next week John?”
“So?”
You deadpanned, “John.”
Okay, he was too eager that time. He should’ve thought it though. Right, you deserved proper proposal planning. Not some random after sex question. You made your way over to that big guy, he was still naked, sitting on the bed with his feet on the floor. You bent over, that same gleam in your brown eyes that shown every time you looked at him. He could’ve fuckin melted right then and there as you placed your hands on his knees, leaving a long a gentle kiss on the corner of his lips.
“You call me if ya need anything John. I mean it, even if it’s those fuckin cookies-“
“—Biscuits—“
“—Whateverrr~” you giggled, lightly touching his beard as John took your waist in his hands. Shit, hed miss you. Miss your kindness, your willingness to drop everything for him, those long lashes that fluttered when you woke up. “I’ll send ‘em yer way, letter ‘f course too. Whatever ya need, John, you let me know.”
With the softest kiss on the lips, you were on your merry way just as you usually were.
The second time John proposed, he did it right.
He had a proper ring. Simple, because you loved simple. The box was in his pants pocket the entire night, itching to get out. You went to a nice fancy dinner to a place you swore you’d only told him once about, took you for a nice stroll, your curls in a half up, half down, dress hugging you just right and John was in a dressy casual. Ultra simple, classic. He was sure he’d get a yes this time.
He hadn’t even gotten the chance to get on he knee before you’d grab his hands. Your bottom lip trembling.
“Sweetheart…”
“Need you tuh listen t’me baby, please.” You pleaded, tears already threatening to burst out like a dam.
“Now I care ‘boutcha so much John. So much that I hate myself fer puttin you in a situation like this.” You sniffled, squeezing his hand to reassure him.
“But ya can’t marry me.” John lamented.
“John—“
“—what is it then? Is it the age gap? I thought you’d gotten over it.”
“John-“ “-clothes? I’ll give it to you. Want me to shave? Done. Love? I’ve got multitudes. If it’s money- it’s yours.” He was racking his brain for something, anything that could’ve draw you to keep him near.
“I don’t want your money John.” You cursed.
“Then what do you want?! Why can’t I give it to you?!”
“I want your happiness above all else John! But I can’t-“ your voice croaked. You let go of his hands, “I can’t give that back to ya. I know I can’t.”
“Tha’s a fuckin lie—“
“—I’m sorry John. Truly.”
Without another word, you’d ran off. Your heals clicking against the pavement, cries heard through the silent park.
You’d known John for a year but technically only about 5 months since he was away for the other seven. But you knew so much about him, he’d send letters whenever he could, call, text and be right with you when he was back because it ‘felt like the place he needed to be’. It wasn’t a shock that John had grown to love you, it was a shock that you’d grown to love him too.
It scared the living shit out of you.
So you did what you always did.
Move.
It never took you long, you always had a storage unit ready, a few cardboard boxes in the back of your closet, a new job to hire you in another country because you always knew a little bit of the language. But this time you didn’t move far enough, you didn’t have to heart to. If John were to call you right now, you would’ve dropped what you were doing and ran to him.
Which is why you blocked him on everything (even though he didn’t use social media that often).
You moved yourself to the countryside, in a much smaller apartment but in a much quieter town by the sea. You were working the front of a fish market, did you know about fish? No. Did they hire you because you were pretty and your endless list of credentials at other random places on your resume? Yes. You didn’t have a problem with blending right in, building peoples trust with ease.
It was a good and bad habit.
John on the other hand was loosing his mind because he didn’t know where the hell you were. He couldn’t call you, couldn’t text you, and you weren’t replying to his letters. Fuck, the man called his parents and they managed to get an answer but only vague answers.
He’d come to you flat after being away, rushing through (but properly taken care of) a mission because he needed to make sure you were alright. As he rung thr buzzer, he got no answer. He was lucky one of your neighbors came out and told him what had happened.
How could you have moved without telling him, of all people?
It hurt him more than anything to have a mishap like that happen and then not be able to contact you. But to move? With no explanation?
He could play cat and mouse.
He’d play it constantly in the 141, taking down terrorists and the like in less than a couple weeks— you’d be an easy find. He was sure of it.
He’d found you soon enough, a couple days, in that god damn fish market, a wide smile on your face as you talked to the multiple people who crowded the stall where you worked. Why were you working here of all places?
He ignored the growing concerns, joining the line of customers at the stall. Most of the customers having something to say to you and you encouraging more conversation as they made their orders and paid. Then it was his turn. He took a step forward and you looked up at him like you’d seen a ghost. Your heart dropped out of your ass. He looked to the fish that sat on display on ice, then to you and titled his head.
“When do you get off?”
“John-“
“-When.” The older man spoke tightly. It came out more like a statement than a question.
The lady who worked with you, Malissa, chimed in with a knowing smile, “Give ‘er an hour.”
Your eyes widened at the older woman whilst John gave her a pleased look, “I’ll be around.” John left the building and you felt your stomach turn over. You glared at Malissa and she laughed at you, “But it’s love, isn’t it [+]?”
Was it that obvious?
Couldn’t have been. As if the blush showed on your brown cheeks. You gave him the same smile you did everyone else, didn’t you? The same kindness, same glances you snuck, soft touches, and the same brushing of fingers. The way you held onto that man’s arm as you presented him to your friends like a trophy, you did the same to anyone else you admired, right? Right?
No fucking way you did. John was the one, well, situation you fully committed to head first. And you didn’t even know when that happened, you liked the thought of someone romantically caring for you, the kindness and joy that was always a package deal when being in that guys presence. Someone that took you and your hopes and dreams serious for once in your life.
Oh God, you were in deep love with John Price.
You could’ve been thrown across the field by your own heart pounding so loud when you walked out of the market. John sitting on the bench, cigar between his fingers, watching the passersbyers and then at you. He stood, nodding for you to follow him in some direction.
“Let’s take a walk.”
The tension was too damn high. You could feel it through the air as you too walked, the only sound being made was the sound of you feet on pavement, the jingle of keys, the sea in the distance. Your curls were probably a mess now, the cold air blowing every which way.
“How’ve you been?” You tried cutting through the ice, eyes finding anything else to look at.
John paused for a moment, a sigh coming out, “I didn’t think you hated me enough to block me [+].”
You winced, as if it pained you to hear those words alone. “I could never hate you John.”
“Then why-“ another frustrated sigh, “You switched jobs to avoid me!”
You squinted your eyes, “Why would you wanna see me after that John!? There was nothing more to say. I was trying to make your life easier!”
“And why would life be easier without you?” His eyebrows furrowed, hand on his hip. He kept rubbing his face.
You opened your mouth to say something, try to get out of the mess you made but nothing would come out. John wanted to laugh at this but it’s not like it would be genuine. Scoffing, he flicked the end of the cigar to the ground. You were like a Hurricane, create a mess to keep people away but right at the center, there was a serene calm. Only soft winds. You didn’t know what you were doing with yourself. John, saw that.
“I’ll take you home.”
“I can walk from here though.”
John gently took your hand in his, looking down at you with sincerity in his blue eyes. “You know how I feel about you bein alone like this. Let me take you home.”
It didn’t take much convincing, it was just a short 5 minute drive from the hills you stood now to your flat. John opened the door to the car for you, making sure you were safely tucked in before slamming it shut and getting in the drivers side. He drove off, down to the main road but then passed the street you had pointed out.
“Where we going?”
“Home.”
“But my place is-“
“—[+], please.” His jaw was clenched, gripping the wheel and your thigh. “You hate it so much, you yell to the rooftops that ya hate me. Despise every breath I breathe. I’ll stop right now.”
Like you would. You huffed, crossing your arms and looking out the window.
John didn’t get irritated easy. Patience was a vertue, that’s what his parents told him all the time. After two marriages you’d think the man would’ve learned by now.
But the man was starving for you, aching to have you say you were his and he was yours after all this and you still not knowing what you wanted— he’d make the decision for you.
You would be his wife and you two were getting married.
The thought of John being mean hadn’t crossed your mind once.
John Price who was usually so gentle, tapping your thigh so you could move yourself in whatever position he wanted you in, grabbing pillows so it would be easier on you, always checking if you were alright every take you reached you high.
That was not the John you were dealing with right now. He was manhandling however he wanted, both hands on your ass cheeks, legs over his arms, slamming you up and down on his cock and letting you cum over and over. Till he had enough of you in that position and fucked you right on the floor, your back getting carpet burn in front of the bedroom door that you didn’t get the chance to close.
And fuck, you thought it was heavenly before, him raw was otherworldly. You felt every ridge, every vein, every twist of his throbbing manhood, every once of precum that made your walls even wetter than they already were.
“Gonna fill you up-“
“—John- mmm- you can’t-“
He grunted, swatting your hands that tried to push him away.
“Gonna fill ya up like a good husband should,” the man’s nodding at his own words, already pussy drunk. But he was speaking words that he’s held back for months. “gotta getcha ready for when we have a baby.”
You hiccuped, John was talking crazy. A baby? A marriage? With John? And he’s whispering it all in your ear. This was tooooo much— too full—
“John i-it’s too deep! I- shit- gimmie a second—“
He pouted, fucking pouted, as if he didn’t know he was pushing his fat, veiny, cock to the fucking hilt of you. Your ankles somehow at the back of your head, “Can’t ya see it baby? You, waddlin around with our baby inside you-“ John hissed, you just kept clenching around him perfectly everytime he thrusted into his “-In a new house- haaah— after we broken it in ‘f course. Gotta break it in for good- fuckin- measure. Little ones running around, an office for daddy ‘nd a office for mummy— It’ll be perfect.”
You didn’t even realize you were cumming, your ears were just ringing, cunt contracting around Johns dick like you were aching for it.
You’d never in your life had a man cum inside you, but my God. John, this old barbarian, was gonna get you addicted to each and every single shot of cum that came from his leaking tip that reached inside your deepest place.
“Fuck, gotta give you another baby.”
John was determined to fuck you into delerium, you’d pass out after cumming so much and wake up to John sucking his cum out of you. Water breaks? The older man is sipping it and putting it in your mouth. Felt stuffy in the bedroom? No problem, John’s moving you to the bathroom to fuck you there with your leg propped up on the bath tub, the wall in the hallway looked like it was missing your face being pressed into it as John drilled you from behind.
Hungry? John’s feeding you whatever he cooked up the thirty minutes he’d left your bruised pussy alone, and then having you cock warm him in the fucking kitchen. All while kissing all over you, how you were such a pretty wife on his dick.
“We gonna get married John?” You slurred out, sticking your thumb in his mouth then sticking it in yours and moaning at the taste. Sweet.
You were fucked out, if the man said he was gonna max out your cards right now he could’ve. But you were, in fact, his finance. Right then and there, no one could convince you otherwise.
“S-Say that again sweetheart?”
You gripped the back of his neck your your hand, getting him to look at you head on, pecking his lips once. Twice. Three times, “You said you’d make me your wife, you’d really do that John? Make me a wife? Won’t get tired of me?”
“Oh birdie, h-how could I ever get tired of you? I-I’m in love you you.”
“Really? I love- I love yooouu John.” Your hips practically rolled on their own, the captain throwing his head back against the headboard for dear life.
“Fuck mee lovie— whatever you want, whateverrr you fucking want.” His hands found your hips, guiding you just the way you needed to get off. Slow, mean— loving.
“G-god, so amazin, amazin John! Wan’ a chapel wedding -ngghh- You, me, some rings and that fuckin preist,”
“ ‘F course baby, course.” John was stammering out words, he could barley keep up now. Fuck, rings. Those fucking rings— “wait baby, gimmie a second.”
“But John,” you keened, hating the idea of being apart for even a millisecond. Oh you’d be the death of that old man. And he wouldn’t’ve minded dying in your sopping cunt knowing you wanted to marry him.
He’d marry you from hell if he had to.
He reached out to the nightstand, an arm hooked around your waist to keep you close as you sloppily rode him, fumbling to grab the black box he placed there yesterday.
Some how he managed to get that box open, two golden rings sat inside. He grabbed yours, tossing the box to the side and slipping the ring on the proper finger.
“Oh! It’s sooo pretty John!” You moaned, eyes stuck to the ring, heart eyes practically forming in your pupils as you looked at the man who was balls deep inside you.
“Come on wife, you know how to cum for your future husband don’t you?”
“You keep looking at it.”
“ ‘S just so nice John.”
It was a single gold ring that fit your finger perfectly, the matching one that you asked to put on John once woke you up. You two were completely knocked out after two days of going at it like animals. You couldn’t feel your legs and your voice was an inch off from being shot. But you couldn’t keep your mouth shut. You loved being engaged, you loved John, and you loved the thought of a future with him.
“You wanna have a small wedding, don’t you?” John entangled your fingers together, his other hand caressing your thighs. The sunshine was shining through the window of the dim room.
“I’d prefer if it was just you ‘nd me. We can do somethin with your family later. I-I think it’ll be real intimate ‘f it’s just us. Like the movies-“
The older man’s eyes crinkled, “Oh, so you’ve thought about it?”
You scuffed, “I’d be silly not to think about marryin you at least once, John.”
Price opened his mouth, feeling more than shy at his grown age. He stuttered, “No take backs, alright? You gotta marry me now.”
You hooked your ring finger with his John’s matching one, giving it a quick kiss.
“No take backs.”
a/n: it’ll be a miracle if anyone even reads all this. if you did, leave me a message or comment if you liked it or if you hated it pls I wanna hear your thoughts.

call out my name | lee jeno
pairing: stepbrother! lee jeno x fem reader genre + wc: smut / enemies to lovers-ish | 17k+ summary: your stepbrother suddenly starts acting a bit different after fixing your laptop, and you wonder if it has anything to do with the endless posts you’ve made about wanting him to fuck you brainless. content warning: stepcest, voyeurism, masturbation, cheating, smoking and brief mentions of drug use, unprotected sex, hard dom jeno, oral (fem receiving), face riding weee, semi-public sex, multiple orgasms, jeno is a bit mean (but like in a hot way), lmk if i missed any! a/n: haven’t written for jeno in soooo long and my body needed it. also, beatbox era jeno still has me in a chokehold, so i imagined him looking exactly like that while writing this. that mullet-undercut combo was LETHAL i need him to reheat his own nachos expeditiously. also the lowercase is back too, i'm still trying to figure out if i like this more lol ps: if u catch the twilight reference you’ll get a kiss from me :p
jeno stomped into your room, hands shoved deep into his hoodie pocket, jaw tight with irritation. your voice still echoed in his head.
‘fix my laptop and i won’t tell your dad you’ve been skipping almost every class since the semester started.’
fix it? he wasn’t a damn IT guy. and how the hell did you even know he’d been skipping? what were you, a stalker?
seriously, it wasn’t his fault you couldn’t take care of your stuff. and why couldn’t you just take the damn thing to a repair shop?
“i need it for college work,’ you’d said.
yeah, right. like he didn’t hear you at night. his room was right next to yours, and those walls were way too thin. not only were you loud, but you also needed headphones, because he could hear exactly what kind of videos you watched.
he exhaled sharply through his nose, stepping up to your desk. the laptop sat there, taunting him in its sickly sweet pink case covered in hello kitty stickers.
“god, what a child,” he muttered, dragging a hand down his face before plopping onto your chair. the cushion was still warm from you sitting there earlier. he flipped the laptop open, and a password prompt appeared.
he tried your birthday first. denied.
with a sigh, he scanned your desk. you were forgetful, he was sure you had the password written somewhere. his eyes landed on a cluster of polaroids, mostly of you and your boyfriend. he grabbed one and flipped it over. sure enough, there was a scribbled note in your messy handwriting.
‘happy anniversary, my baby ❤️’ and a date.
jeno scoffed but typed it in anyway. the screen unlocked with a soft chime.
the moment your desktop loaded, he was met with a picture of you sprawled out on a beach towel, skin sun-kissed, in a tiny white bikini that barely covered anything. jeno swallowed.
several seconds passed before he snapped himself out of it, shaking his head and forcing his attention elsewhere.
your laptop was a disaster. it was clogged with files, random downloads, and so many pop-ups it was a miracle the thing still functioned. he clicked around, deleting error files and clearing out junk.
then a notification popped up from a browser window that was open in the background.
he opened the tab out of habit, not expecting anything interesting, but then the page loaded and he had to blink twice to make sure he was seeing right.
it was a blog called ‘horny antidotes.’
"what the hell is this?" he snorted.
he scrolled, thumb hovering before tapping on a section labeled confessions. a list of posts loaded, the oldest ones stretching back to the beginning of last year. against his better judgment, he clicked the most recent entries.
i tried it again tonight. used my fingers since the new toys i got don’t really feel good either. i think my boyfriend’s starting to suspect something. it’s kinda weird that i barely get wet when he touches me (╥_╥) we even try watching porn together, but it does nothing for me. we just scroll through hundreds of videos and i feel nothing, while he gets hard so easily. so i end up sucking him off.
jeno’s brows lifted. jesus.
i get more turned on looking at pictures of LJN. but i can’t touch myself to him… it feels wrong. so i gotta find an alternative. any tips? (>д<)
LJN?
his lips parted. those were initials. your boyfriend’s? no… his.
L. J. N.
lee jeno.
his pulse jumped. before he could think better of it, his fingers typed LJN into the blog’s search bar.
hundreds of posts popped up.
he let out a soft, disbelieving laugh.
no fucking way.
today LJN helped me with my homework. he looked like he hated every second of it. it was hard to focus when he sat so close… his cologne makes me feel so… hot (/ω\).
jeno dragged a hand down his face. he’s not imagining all this? right?
my boyfriend and i broke up again (kinda) (μ_μ). same reason as always… our sex life sucks. he thinks i’m not into him, but that’s not true. he tries… i just… anyway, LJN knocked on my door today. he was only wearing a towel. i almost dropped to my knees right there and then. how does someone get abs like that? god, those arms… veiny and strong… maybe i should call my boyfriend and try again…
a slow smirk stretched across jeno’s lips. so your boyfriend can’t get you off, but i make you wet that easily? he thought.
his gaze drifted to your bed. the sheets were a tangled mess, barely clinging to the mattress. did you write that post after touching yourself last night? thinking about him?
he exhaled through his nose, head shaking like he couldn’t believe it. but god, his stomach clenched at the thought of you squirming with his name in your head.
sure, he knew people found him attractive. girls threw themselves at him all the time. but you? who argued with him over stupid shit, called him an asshole just this morning while throwing a sock at his head?
you wanted him. wanted him so bad you spilled it online for strangers to read.
his gaze flicked back to the screen, to the words where you described his cologne driving you crazy.
he should’ve stopped reading but instead, he clicked on another post.
‧˚₊•┈┈┈┈୨୧┈┈┈┈•‧₊˚⊹
the next morning, you woke up to find your laptop working perfectly. no note, no sarcastic comment scribbled on a post-it, nothing. just fixed.
weird.
you headed downstairs, fully expecting jeno to be in his usual morning mood, grumbling about chores, throwing half-hearted jabs just to rile you up. but when you found him on the couch, he was… quiet.
"hey," you said, grabbing a drink from the fridge. "so… thanks for fixing my laptop."
he barely glanced up, his gaze flickering over your bare legs for a heartbeat before settling back on his phone.
"yeah, no problem."
...that’s it?
you waited. no snark about your messy folders? no whining about how you owed him now?
your brows knit. "you okay?"
jeno stretched his legs, shorts riding up just enough to show more of his muscular thighs. "yeah, why wouldn’t i be?"
"i dunno," you said, eyeing him. "you’re acting weird."
he chuckled, head tilting as he shot you a lazy grin. "i’m always like this in the mornings. maybe you just don’t pay enough attention to me."
"trust me," you muttered, taking a sip from your drink, "i pay plenty of attention to you."
jeno’s lips twitched almost into a smirk.
then he hummed.
"yeah, i know."
‧˚₊•┈┈┈┈୨୧┈┈┈┈•‧₊˚⊹
the next few days, jeno turned it over in his mind—how to play this.
sure, the whole thing was entertaining, but you were still his stepsister. technically. your parents weren’t married, but they’d been together for about four years, and you’d been living under the same roof since last year.
not that you and jeno were close. you barely crossed paths, always out with friends or holed up in your room when you were home. plus, he found you immature. spoiled. maybe it was the three-year age gap, or maybe it was how quickly you’d settled in and made this place your own. his dad had asked him to be patient with you—“it’s a big change for her”—but if you were struggling, you hid it well.
especially with how you put on that perfect little act for your parents. sweet and responsible. as if you weren’t sneaking your boyfriend in through the window at night. or slipping out when you thought no one noticed. jeno noticed.
he just never cared enough to call you out. but the hypocrisy definitely grated on him. pretending to be miss goody-two-shoes when, by your own confession, you were getting railed by a guy who couldn’t even get you off?
the irony wasn’t lost on him. neither was the opportunity.
he could confront you. he’d definitely enjoy to watch you squirm, see that spark of defiance flicker into panic. tempting.
but maybe… maybe he’d keep this to himself a little longer.
drag it out and see just how much fun he could have before you caught on.
the perfect opportunity presented itself only a few days later when your parents announced their trip to italy for valentine’s day. conveniently their anniversary was also coming up, so they’d be gone for two whole weeks.
“we’ll be back next sunday,” jeno’s dad said, ruffling your hair. “don’t do anything stupid while we’re gone.”
you rolled your eyes, half-smiling, but then his tone shifted as he turned to jeno.
“jeno, take care of her. don’t let her get into any trouble. no parties or anything reckless.”
jeno nodded without a word, eyes flicking toward you before he turned back to your dad with a forced grin. “got it.”
you mom stepped forward, kissing your cheek, her hand lingering on your shoulder a moment longer. “be good, okay? we’re trusting you.” her gaze softened but held an unmistakable warning beneath it.
you knew exactly why. after all, it wasn’t like you had a spotless record. just three months ago, you had come home drunk after sneaking out to a friend’s party. what was supposed to be "just a few drinks" had turned into you singing on top of the table and someone posting it to their story. your parents found out the next morning, thanks to your neighbor, of all people, who’d seen the video. it hadn’t even been that scandalous, except for the fact that you were obviously drunk and under 21 at the time.
the hangover was bad, but the lecture was worse. "you’re lucky jeno was there to drag you home," your mom had said, shooting you a disappointed look. jeno had played the responsible older kid that night, carrying you out before things got worse. but that didn’t stop your parents from being more protective now. especially of you.
still, it annoyed you that all the warnings were directed your way while jeno stood there looking like a saint, when you knew he was anything but. sure, he hadn’t gotten wasted like you, but he was at the same party smoking weed on the back porch, making out with some girl whose name he probably didn’t even know, and encouraging shots like he was the party host. he was just lucky none of that was caught on camera, unlike you.
when the front door closed behind them, a strange silence settled over the house. you watched through the window as they loaded their luggage into the car and drove off. two weeks alone with jeno. what could possibly go wrong?
“guess it’s just us now,” you muttered.
jeno’s lips twitched into a small smile. "looks like it."
his gaze flickered over your body while you were distracted. this will be so much fun, he thought.
‧˚₊•┈┈┈┈୨୧┈┈┈┈•‧₊˚⊹
the house felt bigger without your parents around. normally, you’d take full advantage by inviting friends over, staying out late, and enjoying in the freedom. but something about being alone with jeno had you on edge.
not uncomfortable, just… wary.
he’d been acting strange lately. not openly, but enough that you noticed. it was in the way he looked at you now, like he knew something you didn’t.
you were scrolling through your phone in the kitchen that night when he strolled in.
"big plans while they’re gone?" he asked, pulling open the fridge.
"nothing crazy," you said, thumb still flicking at your screen. "just enjoying the peace and quiet."
he let out a low hum, the kind that sounded like he was holding back a laugh. "right. because you’re such a quiet, well-behaved girl."
your scrolling stopped. your gaze snapped up to him. "where’s that coming from?"
jeno didn’t answer immediately. instead, he stepped closer reaching past you for a glass in the cabinet overhead. the movement brought him close enough that his cologne hit you warm, musky, annoyingly good.
"you know," he murmured, voice just above a whisper, "you might fool them. but not me."
your heart skipped. "i have no idea what you’re talking about."
he dipped his head slightly, eyes flickering to your cleavage.
"sure you don’t."
then he was gone, leaving you in the kitchen with your pulse pounding and a breath you didn’t realize you were holding.
the weekend arrived quicker than expected, and despite jeno’s weirdness lately, nothing out of the ordinary happened.
until saturday.
jeno was sprawled on the couch, mindlessly tapping his fingers against his knee. his gaze drifted up just as you wandered into the living room, barefoot and still in your sleepwear—a thin tank top and shorts that barely covered your ass. you didn’t even glance his way, too focused on your phone as you padded toward the kitchen.
it was almost funny, how careless you were around him. clueless, really.
jeno bit back a smirk.
"you’re up early," he said, breaking the quiet.
you glanced over your shoulder while pouring cereal into a bowl. "uh… yeah?"
he shrugged. "figured you’d be catching up on sleep after sneaking out last night."
your hand faltered for half a second. it was subtle but enough for him to notice.
his grin widened as he leaned back against the couch cushions, arms draping lazily over the backrest. "right."
you set the cereal down with a little more force than necessary and turned to face him, arms crossed. "okay, what’s going on with you?”
"me?" he feigned innocence, eyebrows raising. "nothing, just making conversation."
your eyes narrowed, studying him. when he offered nothing else, you scoffed and turned back to the counter, muttering under your breath.
he’d never cared before. never commented on where you went or what you did. why was he suddenly so interested in you?
jeno used to treat you like background noise, a mild inconvenience at worst. now his gaze lingered longer whenever you walked into the room, and you’d be lying if you said it didn’t make your skin prickle in ways you didn’t want to think about.
later that evening, you curled up on the couch with your laptop, half-heartedly scrolling through an assignment you had no intention of finishing. jeno sat across from you, phone in hand, occasionally flicking through something with the tv playing low in the background. it was peaceful enough… until he spoke.
"you know…" he stretched, shirt riding up just enough to expose the waistband of his boxers. "your boyfriend kinda sucks."
your fingers froze mid-typing.
"what?" you asked, tone clipped. you didn’t look up, but your jaw tightened on instinct.
he hummed, "if i were sneaking out every night, i’d hope it was worth it."
you shut the laptop with a snap. "why do you even care?"
jeno grinned, clearly satisfied that he’d gotten under your skin. "i don’t."
you stood abruptly, blood buzzing with irritation. "whatever. i’m going to bed."
he chuckled under his breath as you turned to leave, but the sound grated on you. it echoed in your head as you stalked halfway down the hall before…no. screw that.
you spun on your heel, storming back into the living room. "you don’t know shit," you bit out.
jeno glanced up, unconcerned. "about what?"
"me. my boyfriend."
that finally got his full attention. he set his phone down and tilted his head, eyes gleaming. "oh, you mean the boyfriend who keeps getting dumped and crawling back like a stray?"
your nostrils flared. "fuck you."
"i’m just saying—"
"no, you’re not ‘just saying’ anything," you cut him off, stepping closer. "you think you know everything about me just because we share a roof?"
"you’d be surprised," he shot back, annoyingly calm.
your fists clenched. "you don’t know what i need. so stop acting like you do."
for a split second, something flickered in his expression, gone too fast to name. then his usual smirk slid back into place.
"i don’t need to know what you need." he leaned forward, elbows on his knees. "i already know what you want."
your breath hitched. you hated that, hated the way your pulse jumped at his words, at the confidence in his voice. what the hell did that even mean?
"you’re an asshole," you snapped. "i don’t owe you an explanation."
jeno nodded, like he agreed. "then why are you still standing here?"
your face burned with frustration, but you bit your tongue. there was nothing you could say that wouldn’t make this worse. so you did the next best thing, you turned on your heel and walked away, slamming your bedroom door behind you.
and yet, lying in bed later, the back of your mind replayed his words on a loop. you still felt like you’d lost.
‧˚₊•┈┈┈┈୨୧┈┈┈┈•‧₊˚⊹
hours passed and you were still pissed.
your whole body ached with it, hot and restless, like something crawling under your skin. jeno’s words sunk in deep, wrapping around you like barbed wire, too sharp, too true.
‘your boyfriend kinda sucks’ his voice rang in your ears.
no, your boyfriend was nearly perfect. he had all the right looks, the right voice, the right everything and yet… somehow, even after months of trying, of letting him touch you, of trying to want it—
you never got turned on with him. not the way you were now after a simple argument with jeno.
your hand moved before you could think, fingers slipping under the waistband of your shorts, finding that sticky warmth between your thighs. a shaky breath left you, head tipping back against the pillows. it wasn’t enough. god, it wasn’t nearly enough. you needed—fuck, you didn’t even know what you needed. just more. something to fill the ache, to drown out the way his voice echoed in your head. i don’t need to know what you need. i already know what you want.
stop.
you squeezed your eyes shut, forcing yourself to picture your boyfriend, to think about the way he kissed you, the way he whispered your name, the way he touched you.
but your body rejected it. the images blurred, twisted, morphed.
and suddenly it wasn’t his hands you were thinking about.
It was jeno’s slender fingers.
your fingertips grazed that sensitive spot, slick and throbbing, pulling a broken sound from your lips. your hips rolled up into your hand, chasing any semblance of relief. you let out a quiet, shuddering breath as your stomach clenched, your pulse kicking up as you fought it, fought him, fought the way his image took over.
but it was useless.
your body didn’t listen. it latched onto the memory of him. the way his pretty lips curled right before he was about to say something you knew would piss you off, the way his voice dipped when he was toying with you, the way his hands always fidgeted, tapping against his thigh, against his lips, always doing something.
your lips parted as your fingers moved faster, your other hand slid up your stomach, pushing up your shirt as your breath stuttered.
would he keep his rings on while touching you?
the thought sent a sharp pulse of arousal through you, your body tightening, the wetness between your thighs growing slicker.
you imagined his long fingers and the coolness of the rings against your skin. would he drag them over your stomach, trace your thighs, tease you with them first? or would he shove them inside right away?
you bit your lip, your fingers pressing down harder, teasing yourself the way he would, the way he might if he ever—
a moan slipped from your lips before you could stop it. “jeno…”
outside your door, jeno’s world fucking stopped. his body was tight, his breath stuck in his throat as he pressed himself against the wood.
he shouldn’t be here. he shouldn’t be standing outside your room, shouldn’t be looking through the small crack where the door hadn’t shut all the way.
but fuck.
fuck, you were so loud. did you even realize?
did you know how needy you sounded? the way your voice cracked, the way your breathing hitched, the way you whimpered when you…
jeno exhaled sharply, gripping the doorframe, trying to keep himself in check. but his mind was already too far gone. because if you were touching yourself to him, and if you were so desperate you couldn’t even keep quiet or make sure the the door was closed all the way… then maybe you wanted to get caught.
maybe you wanted him to see.
his breath came out slow and measured as he peeked through the crack, his body heating at the sight before him. the dim glow of your bedside lamp cast soft shadows over your skin, your legs spread wide, fingers buried deep inside yourself. the slick sounds of your movements, the rise and fall of your chest, the way your lips parted as you moaned his name. fuck, it was too much.
he felt himself throbbing painfully against his sweats, already aching from just watching you. his cock was so fucking hard it hurt.
he pulled himself out, his fingers wrapping around the thick length, hot and pulsing in his palm. he let out a sharp breath as he started stroking himself, matching his pace to the rhythm of your fingers slipping in and out of your pretty cunt.
he wanted to be the one touching you.
he imagined it, his fingers stretching you open, pumping in and out, his thumb circling your clit until you were shaking, whimpering against his mouth. would you let him fuck you raw the first time? god, you’d feel so good around him, so tight, clenching down on him like you never wanted him to pull out. he let out a quiet groan, biting his lip to keep himself from making any noise, even though part of him wanted you to hear him, wanted you to know exactly what you were doing to him.
your moans were getting louder, your breaths coming faster, more frantic. you were close, he could tell, your body was begging for release, and he wished, more than anything, that he could be the one to push you over the edge.
he knew that no one else could make you feel like this. not even your boyfriend, the one you pretended was enough for you. that idiot had the privilege of touching you, of being inside you, and still you weren’t getting off on thoughts of him. no, it was jeno’s name spilling from your lips as you fucked yourself.
his hand tightened around his cock, his strokes quickening. "cum for me, baby," he whispered under his breath, his forehead pressing harder against the doorframe.
maybe you heard him, maybe you didn’t, but your moans pitched higher, your fingers moving faster, your body trembling on the other side of the door. fuck—you were close, so fucking close, and he was right there with you. his jaw went slack, his breaths coming in ragged pants as the pleasure slammed into him, hot and heavy. his cock pulsed, his body shaking, cum spilling over his fingers in thick streaks as he saw you falling apart in your bed at the same time.
his body tensed, every nerve sparking as he milked himself through the high, swallowing back the urge to moan out your name. he barely had the presence of mind to tuck himself back into his sweats before he started dripping onto the carpet. that would’ve been a dead giveaway. but even as he came down from it, the heat in his chest didn’t fade. because now he knew just how badly you wanted him.
and he wasn’t going to just let it go.
‧˚₊•┈┈┈┈୨୧┈┈┈┈•‧₊˚⊹
so, he was back outside your room the following night.
your door was closed all the way this time. he swallowed hard, his pulse hammering as he curled his fingers around the doorknob, testing it. it turned just a fraction before stopping. it was locked. he expected this. he had the feeling you suspected he’d seen you or at least heard you last night because you were unusually fidgety around him earlier today.
he exhaled slowly, lowering himself down until his face was level with the keyhole, his breath shallow as he listened. the obscene sounds of your fingers working between your thighs were unmistakable, each wet stroke sending another pulse of heat straight to his cock. he knew you were thinking about him again. your boyfriend wasn’t here, who the fuck else would you be touching yourself to?
he let his hand trail down, palming himself over his sweats, but this time, it wasn’t enough. he needed more.
his fingers drifted down to his pocket, curling around the small, thin tool he’d stolen from mark’s junk drawer earlier. jeno wasn’t an idiot, he knew to be prepared this time. hearing wouldn’t do it for him, he needed to see you again.
he slid the tool into the keyhole, his other hand steadying the knob as he worked it. it wasn’t his first time picking a lock. he’d done it plenty of times as a teen, sneaking into forbidden rooms at school, usually to make out with random girls. but this was different. he was breaking into his stepsister’s room so he could watch her touch herself. his hands itched, his whole body thrumming with a dangerous kind of thrill.
the lock gave a quiet click and he held his breath trying to listen for any indication that you noticed. after he thought it was safe, he twisted the handle and pushed the door just enough to crack it open.
and fuck, what a sight it was.
you were sprawled on your bed, your legs were in a butterfly position this time, your skin glistening with sweat. your shirt was hiked up all the way giving him the perfect sight of your tits. your panties were pushed down completely and he could see the way your fingers disappeared inside you. his name started slipping from your lips again, breathy, ruined. he clenched his jaw, his cock started to throb painfully at the sight.
you were so fucking beautiful like this. needy, desperate, chasing a high that only he could truly give you.
he licked his lips, watching the way your back arched, your fingers curling inside you as you edged yourself closer. his own hand slipped into his sweats, wrapping around his length, stroking slow, lazy, savoring the moment. he should leave. should close the door and pretend this never happened. but instead, he kept watching, his lips parting in a silent exhale as he imagined once again what it would be like to replace your fingers with his own.
or better yet, his cock.
you had no idea he was here. no idea you were putting on a show just for him.
there was no way in hell he was going to stop now.
‧˚₊•┈┈┈┈୨୧┈┈┈┈•‧₊˚⊹
you’d been locking your door more often now. you weren’t sure why. it didn’t make sense, but the feeling just wouldn’t go away. the feeling that you were being watched.
maybe it was the fact that you thought you heard a moan outside your door the other night. or maybe the fact that your panties had mysteriously gone missing from the laundry basket. and there was only one other person living with you at the moment. you tried to tell yourself it was paranoia. after all, why would jeno do something like that? he didn’t have fantasies like you, right?
still, something felt different when he was around. especially when you bumped into him in the kitchen or living room. the tension was so thick as if the space between you was charged, waiting for something, or someone, to cross the line.
you tried to distract yourself, flicking through jersey shore reruns with half your mind still on him. but as soon as you heard footsteps approaching, your pulse spiked. your body clearly not knowing the difference between riding a roller coaster, and your stepbrother entering the room.
you glanced up, trying to force a bored expression. the moment your eyes landed on him, however, everything in you froze. his damp hair stuck to his forehead, a towel draped loosely around his neck. his sweatpants hung low on his hips, his boxers peeking, and the way his white shirt clung to his chest made it feel like the room was closing in around you.
you swallowed hard.
he caught your gaze, and for a split second, it felt like he saw right through you. like he knew what you were thinking, what you were feeling. but he didn’t say anything. he just walked over, sitting close enough that his leg brushed against yours. the space between you was so small, but it felt like a chasm, a void that you couldn’t bridge. you couldn’t move. not when your body was so painfully aware of him.
“you like this trash?” his voice was casual, but his eyes were anything but. they were on you, studying you.
you blinked, the question throwing you off guard. you hadn’t even realized he was talking about the show until he nodded toward it. “uh... yeah. it’s... entertaining,” you stammered, your voice sounding foreign in your own ears. you wanted to say more, to defend it, but the words wouldn’t come. your mind was fixated on him.
you tried to focus on the screen, but you couldn’t tear your eyes away from him. his towel slipping from his shoulders, water droplets sliding down his neck and disappearing beneath the collar of his shirt. you could feel that familiar flutter in your lower stomach.
your fingers twitched, desperate to do something, anything, to alleviate the tightness.
jeno tilted his head slightly, his lips pulling into that almost imperceptible smirk, the one that made you want to either scream or crawl into him.
“what’s wrong?” he asked, his voice soft, but there was something dangerous underneath. “you look tense.”
you didn’t answer immediately. instead, you shifted uncomfortably, your pulse hammering in your ears. he didn’t push, but the way he was looking at you made you feel exposed, like he had you cornered.
suddenly, the doorbell rang, and you shot up from the couch like you’d been electrocuted. your pulse was still racing, your thoughts tangled in knots you didn’t want to acknowledge. this was good. maybe whoever was at the door would shake you out of this haze.
but the second you opened it, you almost wished you hadn’t.
your boyfriend…or ex? you didn’t even know anymore, stood there holding a single rose in one hand and a bag of snacks in the other.
“happy valentine’s day,” he greeted, flashing that charming smile he knew melted you.
your eyes widened. you’d been so distracted you totally forgot the date. damn you, lee jeno.
“i’m sorry i didn’t call in advance,” he pushed the rose into your hand and leaned to kiss you “and i know we agreed to take a break… still, i couldn't just not come today…”
he lifted the bag on his other hand. “movie?”
you forced a smile, your stomach twisting guiltily for a second. even though your relationship was a bit unstable as of late, valentine’s wasn’t something you ever wanted to half-ass so it was a good thing you’d planned ahead.
you bought his gift the previous week, carefully wrapping the box yourself because you wanted it to feel special. a pair of shoes he’d been eyeing for months, a new band for his apple watch since his favorite one had broken recently, and a handwritten letter tucked inside, detailing how much you appreciated him, how much you loved him. You even spent extra time decorating the envelope, adding little doodles and stickers just to make him smile.
you should've felt some kind of relief, his presence should distract you from the wild thoughts swirling in your head. but as you stepped aside to let him in, that sense of relief never came.
because the moment you turned back, you remembered jeno was still there on the couch. you silently willed him with your mind to go to his room, maybe leave altogether.
but of course he didn’t.
“oh. hey, dude” your boyfriend said as he finally noticed him. “didn’t know your brother was here.”
you winced. that word. brother. your tongue itched to correct him, but what was the point? he knew you weren’t really siblings. he just chose to say it anyway.
jeno let the word hang in the air before he finally stood up, stretching his arms over his head before settling into a straighter posture. he never stood that straight, but he was making sure to show that he was at least two inches taller than your boyfriend. It was a subtle move, but you saw it for what it was. a challenge.
you almost scoffed at the sheer pettiness of it.
“ah, hello…” jeno drawled. “sorry, remind me of your name again?”
your boyfriend told him, his tone polite but slightly stiff.
“right,” jeno said, half-smiling. “didn’t know we’d be having visitors today…”
your boyfriend cleared his throat. “ah, that’s my bad. i didn’t tell her I was coming since I wanted to surprise her for Valentine’s”
“hm,” Jeno hummed. “well... as long as you two keep it in the living room, should be fine. gotta look out for my little sister while the parents are out, you know?”
you squeezed your eyes shut for half a second, inhaling slowly, forcing yourself to stay calm. he never called you that. also, who did he think he was playing house police all of a sudden?
“sit down, babe,” you said, your tone so sweet it sounded forced.
jeno scoffed under his breath, soft enough that only you heard it.
you ignored it, settling onto the couch as he disappeared into the kitchen. your boyfriend sat beside you, oblivious, scrolling through movies, while you shoved a chip into your mouth just to distract your mind.
suddenly, you heard clattering from the kitchen followed by a curse.
“uh, y/n… can you come help me real quick?”
you squeezed your eyes shut.
“what did you break now?” you called, already exasperated.
"your mom’s china," he called back. "think i broke like two plates. maybe three. hard to say. pretty sure she’ll notice, though."
shit. you were on your feet before you could think, muttering a quick, “sorry, i’ll be right back,” as you hurried toward the kitchen.
the moment you stepped inside, irritation flared hotter in your chest.
“are you kidding me? what were you even doing near those? my mom explicitly said—” you voiced trailed off when you saw there was no broken china. no mess. nothing.
just jeno, standing there with his arms crossed, watching you with a smirk so infuriating you wanted to slap it off his face.
your hands curled into fists. “what are you doing?”
“really?” he ignored your glare, tilting his head mockingly. “he brought snacks and a single rose?” he let out a dry chuckle. “it’s valentine’s day for god’s sake, he could’ve at least tried.”
“i like simple things,” you shot back. “i don’t need a big fucking production”
jeno took a step closer making your breath get stuck in your throat. he wasn’t touching you, wasn’t even crowding you, but fuck he might as well have been, with the way your body tensed.
his voice dropped lower. “are you trying to convince me or yourself?”
he clearly wanted to get a reaction out of you and you refused to give it to him.
his gaze flicked down to your lips, pursed at him, and yet so pretty. he could still remember them parting and gasping his name last night.
"bet it gets tiring to pretend so much” he leaned in slightly.
you took a sharp step back.
“just… get out of my business,” you snapped, breath uneven.
jeno’s lips curled. “sure thing.” his eyes glinted with dark amusement. “hope you have fun with mr. buzzkill.”
your jaw clenched as you spun on your heel, storming back to the living room. who the hell did he think he was? since when did he have an opinion on your love life? he’d never cared before, never questioned, never even acknowledged it. so why now?
he kept pushing, prodding, playing with you.
and the worst part was that you were letting him. you knew you should ignore him. his opinion didn’t matter anyways.
so why couldn’t you stop paying attention to him?
‧˚₊•┈┈┈┈୨୧┈┈┈┈•‧₊˚⊹
you decided to push jeno out of your mind, and what better way than by surrounding yourself with people you actually liked?
a pool party seemed like the perfect distraction. it was nothing too crazy, just a few close friends from college. the weather had been unusually nice all week, the kind of warmth that made everything feel a little hazy, the sun kissing your skin as you lay stretched out on a lounge chair, still damp from your swim. it was the perfect excuse to bask in the sun, let the tension ease from your body, and pretend jeno didn’t exist.
jenny, lying beside you on her stomach, propped herself up on her elbows and let out an exaggerated sigh. “by the way, where’s your hot brother?”
you sighed, not even bothering to open your eyes. “stop calling him that. people might actually think i'm related to that jerk.”
“honestly, though,” natty chimed in, rubbing tanning oil on her arms. “how have you not jumped his bones yet? he’s so fine.”
you scoffed, finally cracking an eye open to glare at her. “he’s really not all that. if you guys lived with him, you wouldn’t think like this.”
jenny turned onto her side, her smirk downright sinful. “girl, if i lived with him i'd let him do unspeakable things to me every night.”
you fingers tightened around your drink as something hot and unwanted curled low in your stomach. if only they knew the things you did thinking about him late at night.
belle made a face from where she sat at the edge of the pool. “you guys are gross.”
jenny just shrugged, a sly smile tugging at her lips. “why? they’re not even related.”
belle wrinkled her nose. “yes, but they live together. it’s still weird.”
jenny hummed, resting her chin on her shoulder as she eyed you knowingly. “whatever, i meant what i said.”
“does he have a girlfriend?” natty asked, stretching her legs out as she adjusted her sunglasses.
you shrugged, taking another sip of your piña colada. “i don’t know. i mean, he barely leaves the house. i doubt he has much of a social life… probably the most socially inept guy i’ve ever met.” the words left your mouth lazily, but the moment they did, a shadow loomed over you, blocking out the sun.
you didn’t need to look up to know who it was.
you tilted your head back after a few seconds of silently cursing your big mouth. your heart did a million backflips as you locked eyes with jeno, who was now standing directly behind your chair. his head was tilted just slightly, a slow smirk playing at his lips.
you gulped slowly, and wished the chair would just swallow you whole. did he hear what you just said?
his gaze flickered over you, amused, but there was something heavier in the way his eyes traced over your bikini-clad figure. and then you realized he wasn’t in his usual hoodie and sweatpants. instead, he wore a fitted jean jacket over a graphic tee from a band you didn’t recognize, paired with tight black jeans. even his hair was styled, it looked like he got a fresh undercut, even added some designs on the side. he felt like an entirely different person. he looked good. too good.
“hello, ladies,” he greeted smoothly, his voice deep.
your friends giggled, but you barely registered them because jeno’s attention was back on you in a second.
“does dad know you’re having a party?” he asked, his voice had a teasing lilt to it, but there was something slightly patronizing underneath.
you rolled your eyes. “it’s just a few people.” get off my ass, you almost added but bit your tongue.
his smirk didn’t falter. “mhm… hope so, ‘cause he can see everything through those.” he pointed toward the security cameras, and something about the way he said it made irritation prickle at your skin.
he had the audacity to call your boyfriend a buzzkill, yet here he was, trying to kill any potential fun you could have.
“anyway,” he continued, “this socially inept guy is heading out.”
you breath caught in your throat. so he did hear you.
his eyes flickered over your body once more, and before you could respond, his hand brushed over your shoulder in a touch so fleeting, so meaningless, it shouldn’t have made your entire body lock up the way it did.
“call me if there’s an emergency,” he said. “be good, yeah?”
the second he was out of earshot, the giggles started back up, hushed and scandalized. your skin still burned where his touch had ghosted over you, and you hated that you wanted to turn your head, watch him leave, memorize the way he looked just now.
you swallowed hard, pressing your cold glass against your lips and forcing yourself to pretend that none of it affected you.
after several minutes of listening to your friends gush about jeno, how good he looked, how he smelled like expensive cologne, blah blah blah, you decided you’d had enough. you pushed yourself up from the lounge chair and made your way inside with the excuse of refilling your drink.
as you passed through the living room, a flicker of movement outside caught your eye. jeno was still there, standing near the edge of the sidewalk. his fingers dipped into his pocket, retrieving something small, and curiosity got the better of you. you squinted, trying to make out what he was holding.
despite knowing better, you grabbed a lightweight cover-up dress from the hook by the door and slipped it over your shoulders before stepping outside. the afternoon air carried the scent of chlorine and the faintest trace of citrus from the trees lining the house.
“since when do you smoke?” you asked, approaching him cautiously.
jeno turned his head slightly. the corner of his lips curled in that maddening way of his. without breaking eye contact, he placed the cigarette between his lips, the unlit end resting against the soft curve of his mouth.
“i don’t,” he said dismissively but then, he struck a match against his finger and the tiny flame came to life. the sight of it held your attention for just a second too long. probably because you’d never seen anyone light a match like that, or the fact that he was gaslighting you so casually.
“i thought you said you were going to hang out with friends,” you pressed, crossing your arms as you watched the flame kiss the tip of the cigarette.
“i said i was going to hang out,” he corrected, taking a slow drag before exhaling it in your direction, the smoke curling between you. “i didn't say with friends.”
you barely resisted the urge to cough, your throat tightening at the thick scent of tobacco. before you could call him out on this, the low rumble of an engine broke through the silence.
a black jeep screeched to a stop at the foot of your driveway, tires skidding slightly against the pavement. you instinctively took a step back as the vehicle came to a jarring halt. the tinted window rolled down, revealing a girl with jet-black hair that framed her face in glossy waves. he lips, painted a deep cherry red, curved into a smile that was just a little too perfect.
“sorry, i’m late!” she said, her voice airy, with a sing-song quality that immediately set your teeth on edge “there was so much traffic.”
“sure you didn’t just get pulled over for reckless driving?” jeno chuckled before taking another slow drag from his cigarette.
“mo, silly!” she giggled, her voice turning annoyingly flirtatious as she leaned a little closer over the window. “did you doll up just for me?”
“sure,” jeno replied casually. you didn’t catch the way his eyes flicked to you for just a split second because you were busy trying to mask the seething annoyance that was threatening to show in your expression. you didn’t even know this girl, and yet, the way she was acting was irritating you deeply.
“let me drive,” jeno said, pulling the door open for her to step out. you noticed the way she purposely wobbled slightly to fall directly into his arms.
“careful,” he said, his voice deep and resonant as he steadied her, the sound of it sending a heavy vibration through your chest.
“if your wet blanket of a boyfriend shows up later,” he continued once inside the car, his words laced with a hint of condescension, “just try not to fuck around in the pool, okay? remember, someone’s always watching.” the way he said that left a strange, uneasy knot in your stomach, the implication of his words lingering far too long.
before you could even muster a response, he slammed the jeep into gear and drove off.
it was around 9 pm when you decided to call it a night. your boyfriend hadn’t even shown up. he claimed he had to help his dad with “stuff” but you hadn’t really paid attention to the details. you weren’t interested in hearing excuses anyway.
your friends pouted, complaining that you should let them stay and have a sleepover, but you weren’t in the mood. they only left after you promised to do it another time.
you wandered upstairs, feeling the fatigue from the evening settle in your bones. the water from the shower was almost too hot, but you welcomed the burn as it stripped the chlorine from your skin. you lingered under the steam, savoring the quiet of the house.
once you were done, you meticulously moisturized your skin with extra attention to the dryness that clung to your arms after the pool and the heat of the shower. you threw on your usual pjs, a loose tank top and shorts. you thought of the way jeno’s dark eyes followed you whenever you wore them.
you made your way to the living room and sank onto the couch to watch tv, hyper aware of the ticking sound of the clock. the hands crept closer to 11 p.m. and you found your thoughts drifting despite your best attempts to focus. jeno’s face floated into your mind, his dark eyes flickering with amusement whenever he saw you. you tried to push it away but your mind kept returning to him and that girl with jet-black hair.
the sting of your nails digging into the palsn of your hands is what snapped you out of it. the thought of him with her… doing what? it didn’t even matter. why should it matter?
you decided to go to bed after realizing it was stupid to wait for him to come back.
it was around 2 am when you were jerked awake by the sound of shuffling outside your door. you heard a giggle followed by a hushed voice right before your door creaked open, and you quickly squeezed your eyes shut again.
"shit, wrong room," you heard jeno whisper, and your breath caught in your throat. you opened one eye just enough to see him standing in the doorway, the girl with jet-black hair practically draped around his neck.
she pulled him down into a kiss, and you watched, frozen, as they made out right there in front of your door. her soft moans echoed through the space along with the sounds of their hands fondling each other’s bodies.
they continued, oblivious to the fact that you were very much awake, until jeno finally pulled the door closed behind him, muffling the noises just enough for you to breathe again.
the anger hit you immediately, and the indignation that followed was almost comical in its intensity. with what face had he told you not to "mess around" at home because your parents were always watching, only to go and do this? right in front of your room, no less?
you heard the shuffle of movement in his room next door, and a chilling realization sank in.
they were about to have sex, and you’d hear every damn second of it.
it wasn’t like you’d never snuck your boyfriend in late at night before. But all you ever did was suck him off or let him finger you. you never actually had proper sex. not for lack of trying, but rather the issues you’d been having getting… aroused with him.
the moans started, soft at first, then louder. each sound felt like a needle, digging deeper into the pit of your stomach. you squeezed your eyes shut again, wishing, begging to be anywhere but within earshot of the noise that now felt like it was tearing your insides apart.
you could hear everything. the soft thuds of their clothes hitting the floor, the creak of the mattress as they fell onto it. jeno’s rough groans, the breathless whimpers he tried and failed to suppress. the wet, obscene sounds of him moving inside her. the desperate gasps, the frantic whisper of his name from her lips. their mouths meeting over and over again, the muffled, needy sounds of them colliding filling the space.
every movement, every noise, was painfully clear, as if you were right there in the room with them.
you wanted to disappear. crawl under your bed. evaporate into the walls. oh, the walls. the godforsaken, paper-thin walls that some sadistic architect clearly designed just to ruin your life.
you pressed a pillow over your head, begging for the sounds to stop, but it was useless. they only grew louder.
“jeno… i’m close,” she whimpered, voice high and shaking.
“cum for me…” he responded, breathless.
and suddenly, amidst the debauchery of sounds, you heard it.
your name.
spoken in a broken moan.
your breath stilled. for a second, you thought you must have imagined it, that your mind was playing a cruel trick on you. but then—
you heard it again. louder. needier.
jeno was calling your name as he came.
a paralyzing shock shot through you, pinning you to the mattress. your pulse hammering so hard you thought your heart might bruise your chest cavity. you stared at the ceiling, unblinking, as his moans settled over you like a suffocating weight.
silence followed, broken only by their uneven breaths. then you heard the rustle of sheets as they untangled from each other.
“can i stay the night?” the girl asked, her voice still heavy with satisfaction.
“no,” jeno said, voice oddly cold and detached. “my parents are gonna be here in the morning.”
that was a lie. your parents weren’t coming back until the following weekend.
you were still too shocked to move, too shaken to process what had just happened. but as you listened to her gather her things, to the sound of jeno walking her to the door without so much as an ounce of warmth in his tone, one thing became terrifyingly clear...
he hadn’t just used her. he’d been thinking about you while doing so.
‧˚₊•┈┈┈┈୨୧┈┈┈┈•‧₊˚⊹
you didn’t sleep. not for a single minute.
the shadows in your room shifted as the hours crawled by. it felt impossible to close your eyes without hearing it all over again. your name on his lips.
when your phone screen finally read 6:00 a.m, you gave up on sleep entirely, throwing off the sheets and slipping out of bed like a ghost.
you tiptoed down the stairs and into the kitchen, fingers numb as you grabbed a glass and filled it to the brim. the cold water slid down your throat in greedy gulps, but it did nothing to cool yourself.
then, a breathless laugh tore from your lips, unhinged and bitter. the sheer absurdity of it all crashed into you at once, like a sick joke the universe decided to play on you. jeno had been inside another girl, and yet, it was your name that spilled out of his lips.
the laughter bubbled up harder. it must have been loud enough to wake him, because a few moments later, footsteps padded into the kitchen.
jeno stood in the doorway, eyes heavy with sleep, brows pinched together as he took in the sight of you, your back was turned to him, shoulders trembling with laughter that didn’t seem to belong to you.
“the hell is wrong with you?” his voice was groggy.
you stopped, forcing the manic grin off your face before turning slightly away, shielding yourself from his scrutiny. god, if he saw the way you were smiling right now, he really would think you lost your mind.
“are you high?” he asked, a little more forcefully this time.
you let out a dry chuckle, shaking your head. i wish. maybe if you were high, this wouldn’t feel so real. maybe you wouldn’t still hear his voice in your head from the night before, broken and desperate, calling for you.
a shiver ran down your spine when you felt jeno move closer behind you. you could feel the heat radiating off his bare chest, the faint smell of sleep and last night’s scent clinging to him. his hand clamped down on your shoulder, turning you around with an impatient tug.
“no, seriously.” his voice was lower now, forcing you to meet his gaze. “did you do drugs last night?”
your breath hitched when his chest brushed against yours, and that’s when you remembered you weren’t wearing a bra. the thin fabric of your tank top did nothing to hide the way your nipples hardened at the contact.
you saw the flicker in his expression, the brief second of realization when his gaze dropped.
“what do you care?” you shot back instead, tilting your chin up defiantly.
you liked the way his jaw ticked when you pushed him.
his grip on your chin was sudden, firm, tilting your face until your eyes locked with his. his fingers were rough and the touch sent something dark and electric crackling under your skin.
you ripped yourself from his grasp, grimacing. “don’t touch me. i know where that hand has been.”
jeno laughed, a rich sound that made your throat close.
“oh, so you heard.”
you scoffed. “of course i heard. it was impossible not to when you were being so loud.”
his smirk deepened. “then you know my struggle.”
he stepped forward, pressed you further against the counter until there was barely any air between your bodies. this was the closest you had ever been to him.
your heart slammed against your ribs, but you refused to shrink away. if anything, it only made you glare harder, refusing to give him the satisfaction of seeing you falter.
“i hear everything you do in your room too.”
he paused, letting his finger curl around a stray hair falling over your face.
“every night.”
your lips parted, but nothing came out except a sharp inhale.
his eyes fluttered across your features, lingering on your lips, still wet from the water you just drank.
“wh-what…”
“yeah.” his grin grew sharper, his perfect teeth peeking out to tug at his lower lip. “every time you sneak your dumbass boyfriend in.”
his fingers brushed against the counter beside you, caging you in completely.
“every time you touch yourself…”
you swallowed, looking between his neck and shoulder, unable to meet his dark eyes.
“and you do that a lot lately.”
you gulped to soothe your dry throat, wishing he couldn’t somehow smell how aroused you were getting. you hated the way your body reacted to him, how your thighs pressed together on instinct. he noticed. the bastard always noticed everything.
he was still pressed so close you could feel the steady rise and fall of his hard chest against yours, the heat of his skin bleeding into yours like fire licking at gasoline.
“i—” you started, but your voice cracked.
jeno tilted his head, “what?” his voice was a murmur meant for just the two of you. his lips curved, but the smile wasn’t kind, it was wicked. “got nothing to say now?”
you clenched your jaw, forcing yourself to hold his gaze even as your stomach twisted into knots. “fuck you.”
his smile widened. “i mean, that’s what you always think about, isn’t it?” he murmured.
your breath caught in your throat. he leaned in, his lips so close to your ear that you felt the ghost of them graze your skin.
“you touch yourself thinking about me.”
a wave of heat crawled up your neck. you shouldn’t be reacting this way. shouldn’t be giving yourself away this easily.
you inhaled sharply, gathering every ounce of strength left in your body before shoving at his chest, pushing him away. he let you, barely stumbling back.
“go to hell, jeno.”
you turned on your heel, ready to storm out, to get as far away from him as possible—
but you barely made it two steps before his hand shot out, grabbing your wrist. he yanked you back against him, spinning you around so fast that you barely had time to register the shift before your back was against the counter again, his body crowding yours.
his grip tightened, but not enough to hurt just enough to hold you there.
"what are you doing?" you demanded, pressing a hand to his chest. "i have a boyfriend."
he laughed bitterly "oh, please. we both know he doesn’t even make you wet."
“how do you—?” you swallowed, barely able to get the words out.
the realization suddenly settled like lead in your gut. he read it. your blog. the one you used to vent frustrations you couldn’t say out loud, the one that held every unspoken insecurity, every late-night confession you never meant for anyone to see. every filthy thought about him.
and jeno of all people had gotten his hands on it. that’s why he’d been acting so strange lately.
your fingers curled into the fabric of his shirt, not pulling him closer, but gripping like you needed something to hold onto before you lost your mind.
his smirk deepened as he saw the expression of horror in your face.
“you should really clear your browser history,” he mused, tilting his head slightly. “or, better yet…maybe don’t keep the tabs open on a laptop you asked me to fix.”
the bastard wasn’t even sorry for invading your privacy.
your pulse roared in your ears as you tried to school your expression, trying to make it seem like you weren't two seconds away from spiraling.
“i don’t—” you started, but the words wouldn’t come.
he leaned in, voice dipping lower. “oh don’t quit on me now. you had plenty to say in that little blog of yours.”
his fingers traced your jaw softly.
“especially about me.”
he grinned, teeth grazing his bottom lip as he watched your reaction unfold in real time. “what was it you said?” he pretended to think. “oh, right. he pisses me off more than anyone else, but i bet he fucks like a god.’”
you shoved him again but he barely stumbled, just let out a low chuckle like he was thrilled by your anger.
“what’s wrong?” he taunted. “embarrassed?”
“shut up.”
“aww, c’mon, don’t be shy now. i read the whole thing, you’ve definitely thought about this exact moment before.”
you wanted to die. right there on the kitchen floor. just disintegrate and never have to endure the smug, self-satisfied look on his face ever again.
but worse than the embarrassment? worse than the rage twisting inside you like a coil ready to snap?
was the terrifying, undeniable truth.
he knew you wanted him.
jeno moved closer, and you instinctively backed into the counter, your hands gripping the cool edge.
his smirk was insufferable. giddy, almost.
“god, you should see your face right now,” he murmured, tilting his head. “all pink and flustered. just like i imagined.”
your eyes darted across his face in shock.
“oh yeah,” he continued, watching the realization flicker in your eyes. “you’re not the only one who’s fantasized about this, baby”
“i don’t fantasize,” you said quickly, hoping to salvage some dignity.
jeno just laughed. “save it.”
he reached up, tucking another stray strand of hair behind your ear, the way someone might handle something delicate, except the glint in his eye was anything but soft.
“i said i read everything,” he reminded you, voice dripping with satisfaction. “i even memorized that one post, the one where you talk about my fingers—”
“don’t,” you interrupted, slapping a hand over his mouth before he could finish that sentence.
bad move. because now his lips were pressed against your palm, his breath hot against your skin. and he didn’t pull away.
instead, his dark eyes locked onto yours making your pulse stutter. he reached up, prying your hand away from his mouth, but instead of letting it go, he brought it lower flat against his bare chest, over the steady thump of his heartbeat.
“i like knowing your secrets,” he murmured. “i like knowing what gets in that pretty little head of yours late at night.”
your stomach flipped.
“and you know what i like the most?” he dipped his head, his lips grazing the shell of your ear. “i like knowing that no matter how much you fight me on this,” he whispered, “you’ve already given yourself to me.”
his lips brushed from your ear down to the corner of your mouth, until finally, they met yours. you barely registered how easily your lips parted for him until his tongue slid in, claiming you. a groan slipped out before you could stop it.
you knew you should push him away. you should. but the thought barely even formed before it was gone, lost in the heat of his mouth.
"aren’t you gonna stop me?" he murmured, pulling back just enough to make you chase his lips.
you didn’t move, didn’t shove him away, didn’t say a damn thing.
his lips curled. "didn’t think so.”
then he kissed you harder, rougher. his fingers cradling your face while his other hand slid lower, gripping a handful of your ass. you gasped, and he took the opportunity to deepen the kiss, pulling you flush against him.
his knee pressed between your legs, shifting just right, and you moaned. his lips curved against yours. "there’s my good girl."
heat flared up your spine, equal parts humiliation and arousal. some semblance of reason came over you and you pushed at his chest, but he caught your wrist, pinning it against the counter.
"you wrote about how bad you wanted me to take you right here in this kitchen," he murmured, his breath warm against your lips. "want me to remind you?"
"shut up," you groaned, twisting your wrist free and shoving at him properly this time.
he didn’t budge. he only laughed, nipping at your lower lip before angling your face up, kissing you deep and slow, like he had all the time in the world. his hand slid from your ass to your thigh, hiking it higher around his hip.
the new angle made you feel him, every inch of his hard length pressing right against your core, and you gasped. he thrust against you and the groan he let out sent a pulse of heat straight to your stomach.
"fuck," he rasped, pressing his forehead to yours, his hips rolling again. "you feel that?"
your fingers curled into his shirt, whimpers spilling out of you as he kept humping you.
jeno’s grip tightened on your thigh, fingers digging into your skin as he rocked against you, his breath hot against your lips. “look at you,” he murmured, voice thick with amusement and something darker. “clinging to me like this when you were just pretending to hate me a few minutes ago.”
you opened your mouth to argue, to deny, but all that came out was a sharp gasp as his hands slid under your tank top, fingers tracing lazy patterns up your ribs until they found your perked nipple. his knee pressed more insistently between your legs.
“jen—”
“shh.” he breathed against your lips. “you don’t have to say anything. your body’s already telling me everything i need to know.”
the way his lips ghosted over your jaw, then down your throat, made your breath hitch. you felt like you were drowning in the way he touched you, just enough to drive you crazy but not enough to give you what you really wanted.
“you’ve thought about this,” he mused, voice laced with satisfaction as he pressed a slow, open-mouthed kiss just below your ear. “haven’t you? late at night, when you’re all alone…
your nails dug into his shoulders as he ground against you again, harder this time. he was right. and that infuriated you.
“jeno,” you hissed, half warning, half plea.
“say it,” he murmured against your skin, hands slipping lower. “say you want me.”
you couldn’t do that. you still wanted to cling to some semblance of dignity. but then his fingers slipped inside your shorts, and the illusion that you ever stood a chance shattered.
your gasp turned into a strangled moan as his fingers dipped between your soaked folds, tracing slow circles, teasing you with featherlight strokes that had you melting against him. his breath was hot against your temple.
“if you don’t want this,” he murmured, “then maybe we should stop.”
and just like that, he started to retreat, his touch vanishing like a cruel tease.
“no,” you choked out, your hand gripping his wrist before he could pull away completely. “don’t stop… please.”
he tilted his head, savoring every ounce of your desperation. “you sure?” he mused, feigning innocence even as his lips, swollen and slick, curled into something devilish. “because if you think this is wrong, we really should stop.”
the bastard was toying with you, and worst of all, you found it maddeningly hot.
your nails dug into his arm, your body thrumming with frustration and need. “jeno,” you warned, voice dangerously low. “if you don’t touch me right now, i’ll go upstairs and do it myself.”
you saw the moment his pupils dilated, a dark, almost feral hunger flashing in his eyes.
“oh, princess,” he crooned, his hand slipping back into your shorts in an instant, fingers resuming their torment with renewed urgency. “you really shouldn’t have said that.”
but instead of touching you like you needed, he yanked your shorts down, your panties dragging along with them in one swift motion. before you could form a single word, he hoisted you onto the counter with ease, the hard surface pressing into the backs of your thighs. your legs instinctively tried to close, but his grip tightened, keeping you open for him.
and then he dropped to his knees.
your stomach plummeted, anticipation coiling so tightly inside you that you felt dizzy. he looked up at you from beneath his thick lashes, eyes heavy-lidded, pupils blown wide with hunger. his hands dragged slowly up the inside of your thighs, spreading them further. his tongue darted out, wetting his lips like he was about to devour the best meal ever.
your walls clenched around nothing.
“jeno—” his name came out in a broken gasp.
“you’re shaking,” his breath ghosted over your core, making you jolt, making you ache. "what’s wrong, baby? nervous?"
the way his voice curled around the word baby, sent a fresh wave of heat straight between your legs. but you didn’t get the chance to answer.
because then he dove between your thighs.
the first stroke of his tongue had you gasping, hands flying to his hair as your head snapped back against the cabinets. the heat of his mouth had your body jerking before you could stop yourself, pleasure so intense it almost hurt.
his hands flexed against your thighs, spreading you wider, keeping you still as he licked deep into you. and when he groaned you nearly lost it. the vibration shot straight through you, your stomach clenching, your thighs twitching against his grip.
“jeno—” his name was barely a breath, a desperate sound that made him hum against you, pleased. he pulled back just enough for his lips to brush over your skin.
“god, you taste even better than i imagined” he rasped.
and then he was back on you, tongue working faster, fingers digging into your thighs like he needed this, like he was getting off on the way you gasped, the way your body trembled under his mouth.
he wasn’t just eating you out. he was devouring you.
his tongue moved in slow strokes, drawing out every whimper that spilled from your lips. you tugged at his hair, grinding down harder, but he just chuckled against you. cocky bastard.
“needy, huh?” he murmured between licks. “thought you could handle it.”
you barely registered his words, too caught up in the way he worked you open. but then he pulled away, making you gasp at the loss.
“jeno—” you started to protest, but he was already grabbing you by the waist.
“quit whining,” he smirked, hoisting you up easily. you yelped, legs locking around his hips as he strode toward the stairs. “you wanted this, didn’t you?”
your back hit the mattress a second later. you barely caught your breath before he tugged his pants down, the outline of his dick straining against his boxers.
jeno climbed onto the bed, gaze flicking over you with heat. you expected him to take you right then but he leaned back instead, hands behind his head.
“ride my face,” he said.
you froze, thinking he was joking for a second, but then you saw his his eyes and realized he was being completely serious. panic came over you, you’d never done this before, your boyfriend had never even eaten your out before, only fingered you. this was way more than that though.
“jeno—”
he raised a brow. “what, shy now?” his hands shot out, dragging you toward him. “c’mon, don’t start getting all sweet on me now.”
he positioned you right above his face. you swallowed, “jeno… i-i don’t know—“
“don’t worry baby, trust me”
and then he was spreading your legs further apart so you sank on his face slowly. his nose nuzzled between your folds first, the sharp line of it pushing against your core and making a guttural moan escape you.
his tongue followed, licking up and down, and prodding your entrance with insistence.
“oh, fuck—me” you whimpered, his hands on your hips guided you to press even harder against his face and even in your pleasure you worried he would drown in your cunt.
but when you looked down, there was nothing but pure bliss on his face, his eyes rolling back and his brows furrowed as he lapped relentlessly. it looked like he was enjoying this as much as you.
as your orgasm approached again, you couldn’t help but roll your hips against his face. the movement made his nose press further as his tongue continued licking long greedy strips against your clit.
“jeno—i...i’m—“ you moaned,
and your orgasm crashed over you with such a violent force it made you lean forward barely catching yourself with your arms before you could actually suffocate the boy under you.
you crawled down his body, your breath hitching as you took in the sight of his face glistening with your juices. his tongue swept out as he licked up every trace, dark eyes fixed on you.
his hands remained anchored on your hips, fingers flexing just enough to press you down against his body. you could feel him hard and burning through the thin fabric of his sweats. the instinctive grind of your hips had him exhaling a low chuckle. you wanted this, he wanted this, but something held you back. if you crossed this line… would you really be able to turn back?
you didn’t have time to find out because the sound of the doorbell ringing snapped you both out of your daze.
jeno blinked, looking toward the bedroom door. “seriously...?”
“shit—” you scrambled off him, tripping over your own limbs in the process.
“i’ll get it,” he offered, starting to sit up.
“no!” you shoved at his chest, pushing him back down. “your face, jeno— it’s covered in my—just—go wash it off!”
he grinned lazily. “didn’t hear you complaining a minute ago.”
“not the time!” you hissed, picking up your discarded clothes and putting them on.
jeno started, “i read somewhere that cum is really good for your skin—”
you didn’t dignify that with a response, slamming the door shut on your way out. your reflection in the living room mirror was a disaster: hair tousled, lips kiss-swollen, fresh marks blooming along your neck. you tugged your collar up and plastered on what you hoped passed for a normal expression before opening the door.
and promptly felt the ground vanish under you when you saw who was standing outside.
“hey, beautiful” your boyfriend said.
your mouth went dry. “oh. wow. hi—”
he held up a bouquet. “i realized we didn’t really do anything special for valentine’s, and you were so thoughtful with your gifts…” his other hand revealed a small box.
your heart twisted at the sight.
“figured you deserved something nice after everything you’ve done for me.” he opened the box to reveal a delicate necklace, your initial glinting in tiny diamonds. “also, i wanna take you out today”
you swallowed. “it’s... beautiful, thanks.”
“here.” he stepped forward, gently brushing your hair aside to fasten it around your neck. his fingers grazed your skin then stopped.
“you’ve got a mark,” he said, frowning. his thumb skimmed over the hickey, sending your pulse into overdrive.
“mosquito bite,” you blurted.
he raised an eyebrow. “looks... aggressive.”
“it was a big mosquito,” you managed with a nervous laugh.
“massive, actually” came jeno’s voice.
you turned just as he was descending the stairs, towel-drying his face and now dressed in…god help you, only sweatpants. fresh hickeys also peppered his collarbone and chest.
your boyfriend’s smile tightened. “hi, man. hope i didn’t wake you.”
jeno shrugged. “nah, i was just eating a delicious meal.” his gaze flicked to you with something too close to amusement.
you fought the urge to kick him in the balls. “so! you said something about... going out?” you blurted, trying to shift the topic.
“uh... yeah. a new amusement park opened up nearby. thought we could check it out.”
“sounds amazing! i’m in!” anything to get out of this situation.
“i’ll just… shower real quick,” you said, stepping back.
“i’ll put the flowers in water,” your boyfriend offered, heading toward the kitchen.
as soon as he disappeared, you turned to jeno and hissed, “are you insane?”
he chuckled. “i didn’t even do anything.”
“you’re standing there shirtless covered in hickeys i don’t even remember giving you!” you whisper-yelled.
“yeah you went a little crazy, who knew you wanted me this bad?”
you shot him a glare. “this isn’t funny.”
“it’s a little funny.”
you let out an exasperated sigh, rubbing your face. “god, you’re impossible.”
jeno leaned in just enough for you to feel the warmth of him. “wouldn’t be nearly as fun if i wasn’t.”
you shook your head and darted upstairs, pulse still racing. what the hell was your life right now?
you gave yourself only twenty minutes to get ready, worried about leaving your boyfriend alone with jeno for too long. god only knew what kind of things jeno might say if left unchecked. you quickly threw on a pair of high-waisted jeans and a knitted sweater, keeping it simple with just a swipe of lip gloss and a touch of mascara.
when you came downstairs, you found them sitting at opposite ends of the couch. jeno was scrolling through his phone, legs spread out, a bored look on his face. your boyfriend was leaning forward with his elbows resting on his knees, glancing around as if searching for a conversation topic that didn’t involve glaring across the room.
“i’m ready,” you announced, trying to break the awkward tension hanging in the air. both boys looked up.
you noticed Jeno had changed into fitted jeans and a black t-shirt.
“i hope you don’t mind,” your boyfriend said, his smile too stiff to be genuine, “but i invited jeno to come with us.”
“what?” your head snapped to jeno, who didn’t even have the decency to look guilty.
“yeah,” jeno said, casually running a hand through his hair. “a few of my friends are heading there too, so i figured we could all hang out.”
“oh… how nice,” you muttered through clenched teeth. jeno just smirked, waiting for you to snap in front of your boyfriend but you held back, drawing in a calming breath and turning toward the door instead.
outside, your boyfriend wiped a tiny smudge off the driver’s side door of his car with meticulous care. jeno scoffed audibly.
your boyfriend paused, glancing over his shoulder. “jeno, do you have a car... or do you wanna ride with us?”
“my car’s in the shop,” Jeno replied without missing a beat.
“oh yeah? what do you drive?”
“a ’69 mustang fastback,” jeno said smoothly, shoving his hands in his pockets.
your boyfriend’s lips parted slightly. you knew he was impressed—he loved cars—and even if he tried to play it cool, the way his eyes widened gave him away. “that’s a classic. was it your dad’s?”
“nope.” jeno grinned. “saved up since high school and bought it myself at the barrett-jackson auction last year.”
your boyfriend’s eyebrows shot up. “that’s... actually really impressive.”
yeah, jeno thought, satisfaction bubbling in his chest. he lived for moments like this, when people looked at him like he was something special. he just couldn’t let it slip that his dad had footed most of the bill for the car’s custom work. it wasn’t like he asked for that help, but there was no way he was turning it down either. and he sure as hell wasn’t about to admit that in front of your boyfriend. not when the guy was looking at him with something close to respect. honestly, jeno kind of liked having that edge over him.
you could practically see the mental competition unfolding in front of you. jeno stood there like he’d just scored a point, while your boyfriend’s jaw tightened, clearly thinking of how to reclaim the upper hand.
“are you guys done with the dick-measuring contest, or should i grab a ruler?” you asked, arms crossed.
jeno laughed under his breath. your boyfriend glanced away, muttering, “yeah, yeah, let’s go.”
the ride was somehow worse than you expected. normally, when you’d ride with your boyfriend, the car was filled with pleasant conversation. he’d ask about your day and tell you about his… but now, with jeno in the backseat, the air felt suffocating. not even the faint music playing on the radio could ease your discomfort.
“were you sleeping before i came?” your boyfriend asked, glancing at you briefly before focusing back on the road.
you tensed. sleeping? far from it. you’d most definitely come before he arrived, and now your face burned with the memory. you shot a quick look over your shoulder at jeno, hoping to gauge if he was going to say something incriminating. he was scrolling through his phone, but the corner of his mouth curled up in that stupid smirk of his.
“uh… no,” you said, clearing your throat. “i couldn’t sleep very well last night, so i just had an early breakfast.”
“ah,” your boyfriend hummed. “and your parents are back sunday, right?”
“yeah,” you replied, grateful for the change in subject.
the silence that followed wasn’t comfortable. your boyfriend tapped the steering wheel rhythmically, occasionally glancing at you like he was expecting conversation but you were too busy trying not to spontaneously combust from how tense everything felt.
he reached over and turned on the car’s bluetooth. “let’s put on some music,” he muttered, scrolling through his playlist. he settled on a song, and you relaxed until you recognized the beat a split second before the lyrics started.
"thoughts of you keep me up at night..."
heat immediately started creeping up your neck. of all the songs... and of all the lyrics to play right now.
"i think about all of the ways you turn me on... and my bed gets lonely whenever you’re gone..."
you stiffened, eyes wide as you stared out the window. you could feel jeno’s gaze burning into the side of your face, and when you dared to glance back, you saw his eyes fixed on you, an eyebrow raised like this was the funniest thing to ever happen. your boyfriend, oblivious to the lyrical implications, simply tapped along to the beat.
you reached for the phone. “let’s put something else—”
“what? you don’t like this song?” your boyfriend asked, glancing at you with a smile.
“it’s… just—” you floundered. jeno chuckled under his breath.
“leave it,” Jeno said. “I think it’s pretty relatable.”
your boyfriend shot him a look through the rearview mirror probably wondering what he meant.
you squeezed your eyes shut, praying for the ground to swallow you whole. why did the drive feel like it was taking forever?
when you arrived at the amusement park, you were pleasantly surprised to see jenny and natty waiting near the entrance, drinks already in hand.
“we’re the masterminds behind this whole thing, by the way” jenny grinned, looping her arm through yours when you reached her.
“yeah,” Natty added, slipping in on your other side. “we told him he was an idiot for not doing something nice for you on saturday, so this is his redemption, and we’re here as the judges.”
the revelation should’ve surprised you—maybe even disappointed you—but it didn’t. things with your boyfriend had been...off lately. neither of you was really trying, and you couldn’t blame him for that when you weren’t putting in much effort yourself.
still, you plastered on a smile. this is supposed to be fun, you reminded yourself. and it was, you went on nearly every ride. your boyfriend, though, wasn’t a big fan of fast rides due to his motion sickness, and you didn’t miss the way jeno scoffed every time he turned down your suggestions to ride together.
you were heading toward the food stalls when something caught your eye. “ooh! let’s do that one!” you pointed to a shabby building draped in fake cobwebs and flickering lights. a crooked sign above the entrance read bloody encounter in dripping red letters.
jenny made a face. “why would you willingly do that to yourself?”
“come on,” you urged, tugging her arm. “it’ll be fun! i saw a video of it on instagram! it looks insane.”
“that’s exactly why i don’t want to go,” jenny shot back, glancing warily at the entrance.
natty, wide-eyed, whispered, “have you seen that movie where a group of friends goes into a haunted house, and there’s an actual killer inside?”
“that’s literally a movie,” you said, but your attempt at sounding confident fell flat when natty added, “it was based on real-life events.”
you rolled your eyes but glanced over your shoulder at your boyfriend trailing behind. he looked at the ride and grimaced.
“eh... i don’t know, babe,” he said, rubbing the back of his neck. “you know i hate this kind of stuff.”
you visibly deflated and before you could respond, another voice cut in. “i’ll go with you,” jeno said, stepping forward, hands stuffed into his pockets.
“I—” you started to object, nerves twisting in your stomach. jeno? alone? no way. that felt like walking into a trap. “weren’t you going to meet up with your friends?” you tried, hoping to backpedal.
“they texted that they got a flat on the way here, so it’ll be a while before they arrive” he shrugged.
“you two have fun,” jenny said, already pulling natty away. “we’ll grab food in the meantime.” natty threw you a look that screamed good luck before disappearing into the crowd.
your boyfriend lingered. “you sure you’re gonna be okay?” he asked, eyes darting to jeno, whose expression remained unreadable except for the subtle roll of his eyes.
“yeah,” you lied, forcing a reassuring smile. “i’ll be fine. see you in a bit.”
stepping through the entrance, you were swallowed by darkness. the air was thick with the artificial scent of fog machines and that weird plasticky smell of cheap props. distorted laughter and screams echoed through the narrow halls, looping over speakers that crackled with static.
beside you, jeno looked about as thrilled as someone waiting in line at the dmv. he glanced around, gaze skimming lazily over the walls. "spooky," he deadpanned.
"wow, you're really committing to the whole fun-hater thing," you shot back, glancing over your shoulder. you knew something was about to jump out, it was just a matter of when. "if you hate this so much, why'd you come?"
“figured your dumbass boyfriend wouldn’t,” he shrugged, mouth quirking into something between a smirk and a sneer. "someone had to make sure you didn’t cry."
“excuse me—”
BANG!
a hidden panel to your left slammed open and a clown with cracked white paint on its face and red bulging eyes lunged out, blaring a horn right in your face. your soul practically left your body as you screamed and instinctively grabbed onto the nearest thing which, unfortunately, was jeno.
he didn’t even flinch, his arm simply went around your shoulders, comforting you even as your heart tried to beat out of your chest. you looked up, breath catching when you met his gaze. his eyes flicked down to where you were clutching his hoodie before lifting back to yours.
you pushed away, but his hand didn’t fall away immediately. it trailed from your shoulder down to the small of your back, you felt his warmth seep through the fabric of your sweater.
"so," he drawled, "should i hold your hand for the rest of this?"
“i swear to god…”
“—because i don’t mind”
“keep talking and i’ll feed you to the next clown,” you shot back.
he snorted. "like you’d make it through this without me."
you flipped him off without looking back, which earned a low chuckle in response. you stalked ahead, determined to focus on not tripping over the uneven floor, but his footsteps stayed close behind. annoyingly close.
the mirror maze was where things went downhill. everywhere you turned, warped reflections of you and jeno stretched and twisted in the glass. dark shapes flickered just out of sight, and the speakers just made everything worse by echoing whispers that felt like they were breathing down your neck.
your reflection twisted, making your head look three times too big. jeno snorted. “look, they got your good side.”
“bite me” you said, peering around a corner. your reflection multiplied into a dozen versions of you, all looking equally pissed.
“tempting,” he muttered, mostly to himself.
jeno’s fingers suddenly wrapped around your wrist and he tugged you in the opposite direction.
“it’s this way,” he said.
“how would you know?”
“we’ve been stuck in here for like ten minutes,” he cut in. “you’re clearly not the best guide.”
you bit your tongue, resisting the urge to snap back.
jeno pointed at a door partially concealed by a tangle of fake cobwebs. “that’s gotta be the exit.”
“that looks deliberately hidden,” you said, eyeing it warily. something about it seemed off.
“well,” he shrugged, “either we try that or we keep wandering in circles. your call.”
fine. you followed him, trusting—against better judgment—that his instincts were better than yours.
they weren’t.
the door creaked open to reveal a forgotten section of the attraction with dust-covered boxes, broken props tossed in corners, and walls lined with peeling fake blood. the air smelled like damp cardboard and stale fog machine fluid.
“...okay,” he said, unfazed. “so not the exit.”
“wow. color me shocked.”
he shot you a look. “didn’t hear you coming up with better options.”
you rolled your eyes and turned back to the door. “whatever, let’s just—”
it didn’t budge. frowning, you tried again, putting more weight into it. nothing.
your pulse quickened. “uh... jeno?”
“what?”
“the door’s stuck.”
“just turn the handle—”
“i am!” frustration and panic crept into your voice. “i know how to open a damn door!”
“move.” he gently nudged you aside, grabbing the handle. he twisted while shoving his shoulder into it but the door held firm “...shit.”
your stomach dropped. this wasn’t funny anymore. “no, no, no… this can’t be happening.” you raked a hand through your hair.
jeno stepped back, scanning the room like there might be another way out. “it’s gotta be part of the attraction… like some escape room or…”
“yeah? you really think they’d make a whole escape room and hide it behind a side door that was clearly not supposed to be opened?” your voice cracked, breath coming quicker now.
he glanced at you, expression shifting. “hey.” his tone dropped, calmer. “don’t freak out.”
easy for him to say. your brain was already spiraling. you were locked in some creepy back room of a haunted house... with him.
you leaned back against the door, shutting your eyes as you tried to calm your racing heart.
“do you have your phone?” you asked, voice tight as you pushed away from the door and walked toward him.
he patted his back pocket and pulled out his phone, holding it up before showing the dead screen. “no battery.”
you let out a frustrated sigh, rubbing your temples. “of course.”
“the staff will probably notice we never came out,” he said, glancing around the dimly lit room. “they’ll be looking for us soon.”
“i didn’t even see anyone else besides that clown,” you muttered. “this is what i get for coming in here with you.”
“what’s that supposed to mean?” his voice dropped a note lower, and when you looked up, he’d stepped closer. your back nearly hit the door again, tension sparking between you like static electricity.
“you’ve clearly upset some kind of energy around me, and that’s why all these things keep happening,” you snapped, trying to push away the sudden awareness of how little space there was between your bodies.
“are you being for real right now?” he chucked bitterly, dark eyes flicking to your lips for a fraction of a second before meeting your eyes again. “you’ve been writing dirty fantasies about me for months but i’m the one somehow upsetting your energy?”
heat surged to your face, both from anger and embarrassment. “and that’s all they were! fantasies!” you shot back, voice rising. “i never wanted you to read those.” your breath came quicker. his proximity was messing with your ability to think straight.
“yeah?” he leaned in, close enough that you could feel the warmth of his breath. the playful glint in his eyes burned away, leaving something far more dangerous. “you say that like you didn’t mean every goddamn word.”
your fingers curled into fists at your sides. "is now really the time for this?"
“how come my presence didn't bother you when my mouth was between your legs?” he growled.
your hand shot up, ready to shove him away but he caught your wrist, pinning it above your head. your heart kicked into overdrive.
“not here,” you breathed, but it was weak, barely convincing.
“nobody’s around,” he rasped, chest flush against yours. “and you don’t really want me to stop.”
his lips dragged along your neck greedily, teeth scraping your skin before his tongue soothed the sting. your knees nearly gave out.
“jeno—fuck—we can’t,” you gasped, even as your hips arched toward him, desperate for friction.
“i’m sure i can make you cum before anyone shows up,” he promised, voice like rough velvet.
then he grabbed your thigh, hauling your leg around his waist and shoving his hips against you. the contact had you gasping, heat blooming everywhere at once. his grip was bruising, grounding you and shattering you all at once.
“you have no idea—” his breath was ragged, words spoken between gritted teeth, “—how fucking hard it was to sit back and watch you with him. i wanted to drag you away and remind you exactly whose tongue had you shaking mere hours ago.”
that snapped something inside you. your fingers twisted in his hair, pulling him in as his mouth crashed against yours. his hips rolled, grinding against you in rough motions that stole every coherent thought from your brain.
you should stop. you should care about where you were or the fact that your boyfriend was waiting for you outside, but the way he was touching you, kissing you, claiming you.
he pressed you hard against the wall, hands pulling at your sweater with urgency. the second it was off, his mouth was on you, sucking against the lace of your bra. his groan was barely controlled.
“fuck, so fucking perfect,” he muttered, his words shaky. his gaze was hungry as he tore your bra off, his lips tracing the curve of your chest.
his mouth found your nipple, sucking hard. your back arched and a gasp slipped from you.
“god, perfect tits,” he growled. his hands were shaking now, and there was no control in his voice, just raw need.
without warning, he pulled your pants off, almost knocking you off balance. you barely steadied yourself before he turned you around, shoving you forward. Your hands gripped the wall for support, and you felt him push his erection against your ass.
“fuck, gonna make you feel so good. better than your fingers ever could. let me fill you up” he groaned, his voice desperate. you could feel how hard he was even through his jeans.
you bit your lip, refusing to let him have the satisfaction of knowing just how much you wanted him. before you could look back, his hand was on your jaw, turning your head to face forward.
“be good and i’ll let you look,” he growled, his breath hot against your ear.
he pulled your panties aside, the fabric stretching tight against you. it felt like it might snap any second, but before the thought could even settle, his finger was buried in your folds. the cool touch of his rings against your heat made you gasp, your body shuddering in response.
“oh god,” you mewled.
if your mind was clear enough to process anything, you’d laugh at how absurd this was. your fantasies, the ones you’d written about in your blog, were unfolding before your eyes, all within a day.
“barely even touched you, and you’re already dripping like this?” his voice was laced with amusement, though there was a growl beneath it.
“jeno, please don’t… tease me.” the words barely left your mouth, a plea you couldn’t hold back.
he smirked, his thumb brushing over your sensitive spot as he circled your clit. “i thought you were the one who didn’t want to do this here,” he taunted.
“please,” you whispered, barely able to form a coherent thought.
he chuckled, drawing another slow circle, teasing you, making you ache. every motion of his finger made your body respond, pushing your hips back instinctively. “so eager,” he muttered, his mouth hot against your shoulder.
his finger plunged inside you, and before you could adjust, another joined. he pulled them out slowly, spreading the slickness of your folds across your skin, making you squirm in desperation. you felt the pressure of his cock growing against your ass, and you clenched around his fingers, your walls yearning for more.
“ready for me, baby?” his voice was low, dark, almost a growl, and you nodded, mind too fogged to say anything.
he spread your legs wider, forcing you open for him, giving him better access. you felt the tip of his cock swipe against your folds, teasing the entrance, and you couldn’t help but steal a glance down. his pre-cum smeared against you, mixing with your slickness.
“when i’m done with you, you won’t even remember who came before me…” his words were gruff, hot against your hair.
and then, just like that, he thrust inside. you heard him inhale sharply as your gummy walls welcomed him, stretching around him, pulling him deeper. he felt thick, too thick, and you weren’t sure if he was all the way in, but the fullness was overwhelming. his body pushed against yours, your legs trembling under the weight of him, but he wasn’t stopping.
one hand snaked around your waist, pulling you closer as jeno continued to push deeper. your moans grew louder, and with each thrust your inhibition was slipping away. it felt too good to care about being caught, to think about anything else but the feeling of being so full.
but then, just as you were losing yourself completely, the sound of footsteps and distant voices jerked you back to reality.
“guys, they probably already came out,” you recognized jenny’s voice, and you froze.
“y/n isn’t picking up her phone,” your boyfriend’s voice followed, too close, so close you could practically feel him in the room.
you pushed weakly against jeno, trying to make him pull out, but he wasn’t paying attention. instead, he thrust into you again, harder, his cock pressing into you so deeply that you bit your tongue to hold back the moan threatening to slip out.
“that’s cause i have it,” natty’s voice rang out, innocently. “she gave it to me when she went on the roller coaster earlier.”
jeno’s hand moved to cover your mouth, muffling the sounds you couldn’t stop from escaping. he continued to pound into you, relentless, while pulling you flush against his chest, his pace steady but punishing. panic clawed at your throat as your breath quickened.
“when were you gonna tell us that...?” jenny’s voice sounded sharp, you could even picture the scowl that came with it.
“did you try jeno?” your boyfriend asked, the concern in his tone making the situation even more unbearable.
“we don’t have his phone number,” natty replied casually.
“i do,” Jenny said, her voice almost sheepish.
jeno’s hips stuttered for a brief moment, the pace slowing as he briefly pulled away from you. you thought he was stopping but before you could even react, he spun you around, forcing you to face him. his forehead glistened with sweat, his lips swollen from how hard he’d bitten them, his breath labored.
“what? since when?” natty asked, her voice sounding confused but amused.
“i stole it from y/n’s phone,” jenny muttered quickly. “don’t tell her, though.”
before you could even process her words, jeno thrust back into you, pressing you into the wall with each brutal stroke. the wall rattled violently with every movement and you could barely form the words to warn him.
“j-jeno, stop… they… they’re gonna hear us,” you gasped. your whole body felt like it was being torn apart in the best way, but the fear of being caught made it impossible to enjoy it fully.
“let them,” he growled against your ear, his grip tightening on your waist. “let your boyfriend know i’m the only one who can make you cum.”
you couldn’t help the loud whimper that came out when he said that.
“did you guys hear that?” your boyfriend’s voice rang out, sharp with suspicion.
your eyes widened in sheer panic, your body stiffening around jeno. but instead of stopping, he only smirked, still buried deep inside you. the bastard was enjoying this.
his hand trailed down, fingers finding your clit, and the second he started rubbing tight circles, your head lolled back involuntarily. another strangled whimper escaped before you could stop it. the feeling of his fingers working you over while he continued driving into you relentlessly had you seeing white.
“what?” natty asked, her voice tinged with unease.
jeno didn’t stop, his movements staying controlled except for the way his breath hitched when your walls fluttered around him. his lips parted slightly, a muscle in his jaw twitching as he fought to keep from moaning out loud.
“it sounded like… a person?” your boyfriend said, his voice closer now.
your head snapped up in terror, eyes locking onto jeno’s, silently pleading with him to stop. but he wasn’t even looking at you. his teeth were digging into his lower lip, dark eyes fixed on where your bodies were joined, watching the way he disappeared inside you over and over again.
“it’s probably just the scary audio replaying on the speakers,” Jenny suggested.
“and that rattling sound?”
jeno’s eyes flicked up at that, finally registering your panic. without pulling out, he wrapped an arm around your waist and lifted you off the wall effortlessly, carrying you a few paces away before pressing you down onto an old, dusty table.
before you could even think to protest, he shoved your knees up and entered you again, deeper this time, making you arch off the surface with a muffled cry. your teeth sank into the flesh of your hand to keep the noises in.
the table creaked with each sharp thrust, dust kicking up into the air around you. tears pricked your eyes, whether from pleasure, mortification, or both, you weren’t sure.
“maybe rats or something,” jenny suggested, her voice fading as she moved further away. “who cares? let’s just go. they’re not here anymore.”
the moment the voices started retreating, jeno leaned over you.
“we almost got caught,” he whispered, his teeth grazing your earlobe “...and you’re still fucking dripping around me.”
you didn't even get to feel embarrassed by his words because soon he was already moving again harder, deeper, like he needed to make up for the interruption. the table kept creaking under the force of his thrusts, and your fingers scrambled for something to hold onto.
when you looked down, your breath hitched at the sight of his cock drilling into you over and over, slick coating both of you in a wet mess. you were mesmerized by the sharpness of his hip bones, the way his veins bulged with every flex of his muscles.
you wanted to touch. you needed to.
your fingers twitched with the urge. why is he still so covered? you’d seen him shirtless before, had spent far too long secretly admiring the cut of his abs, but seeing and feeling were entirely different. you wanted to feel them ripple under your hands, to feel the heat of his skin against your palms.
driven by that need, you pushed up on your elbows, reaching for the hem of his shirt. he didn’t stop you, just watched with dark eyes and parted lips as you dragged the fabric up, exposing smooth skin and the taut muscles beneath. your fingers splayed over his stomach, feeling how hard he was clenching, how his body responded to you.
jeno tensed the moment your hands made contact with his skin, a sharp inhale hissing through his teeth. his hips faltered for a second before slamming back into you with even more force. your breath stuttered, and when you looked up, his eyes were already locked onto yours, pupils blown wide with something wild.
suddenly, he leaned forward and his lips crashed into yours, all-consuming. a deep grunt rumbled from his chest as he licked into your mouth, greedy and desperate, sucking at your tongue like he couldn’t get enough of your taste. you gasped, clutching at his shoulders, your fingers digging into the sweaty skin under his shirt.
he groaned against your lips, voice ragged. “you—” another thrust, deeper this time, knocking the air from your lungs. “—are driving me fucking crazy.”
you felt your orgasm building fast, your breath catching as pleasure coiled tight in your stomach. words tumbled out of your mouth, barely coherent, dissolving into soft gasps as your body clenched around him. jeno moaned against your lips, his hand sliding back to your chest, fingers toying with your nipple. his hips didn’t slow, driving into you with almost manic thrusts that had your head spinning.
“fuck, i’m close,” he breathed out, voice rough in your ear. “where do you want it?”
you blinked through the pleasure, brain too sluggish to register the question. when it did, warmth flooded your cheeks. you were on the pill and the thought of him stuffing you up with his cum, just like you’d written about, made your walls flutter instinctively. “inside,” you said, voice barely above a whisper.
jeno’s jaw flexed, his gaze darkening. “yeah?” his pace quickened, rougher now, his lips brushing against your neck. “couldn’t wait for me to fill you up, hm?” his words melted into a groan when you clenched around him.
“jeno—i—” the rest of the sentence dissolved into a cry as your orgasm crashed over you violently. your body arched into him, trembling.
he wasn’t far behind. you felt his rhythm stutter before warmth flooded you, his hips pressing deep as he let out a low, drawn-out moan. his lips found yours again, kissing you slowly, even as both of you tried to catch your breath.
when he finally pulled back, his gaze held yours for a while. you wanted to ask what he was thinking, but the words stuck in your throat.
you felt him slip out of you along with the slow drip of hia cum trailing down your thighs. he reached for your discarded underwear, swiping it between your legs with surprising gentleness before, without hesitation, tucking it into his back pocket.
“hey—” you started to protest, but the look he shot you shut you up fast. apparently, those were his now.
a few quiet minutes passed, both of you fixing your clothes, when the door groaned open. you flinched as an older staff member peeked in, eyes widening upon spotting you two.
“what on earth are you two doing in here?”
you quickly stepped forward, feigning wide-eyed innocence. “so sorry, sir! we got lost trying to find the exit, and then the door jammed. thank you for helping us”
“yeah. where’s the way out?” jeno added, right behind you.
“just head left twice. you’ll see the exit sign.” the man shook his head, muttering something under his breath as he waved you off.
“thanks again!” you called, already pulling jeno with you. once outside, the cool night air hit your flushed skin, and you wrapped your arms around yourself with a shiver.
“if we’d followed my directions,” you said, glancing sideways at him, “we would’ve been out a while ago.”
jeno’s jacket appeared over your shoulders before you could argue further. “yeah,” he smirked, eyes glinting under the neon lights. “but then we wouldn’t’ve had all that fun, would we?”

You're worth it
Lando Norris x Reader
Summary: Lando Norris and Y/N share an undeniable connection, but the pressures of F1 and personal hesitation have kept them in the "just friends" zone. Despite their close bond, an unspoken tension hangs between them, each moment charged with what-ifs. With a little nudge from fate, aka, their best friend Max, the two are pushed to give things another shot. Will Lando find the courage to make his move, or will Y/N slip through his fingers, forever just out of reach?
Words: 4.5k
Warnings: swearing, light angst, mentions of anxiety.

Lando’s season had been anything but smooth sailing. Sure, the car was leagues ahead of where it had been, delivering near-constant podiums and even his long-awaited first race win. He was sitting second in the championship, closer to the title than he’d ever been. On paper, it was a dream season. But pressure had a funny way of twisting even the sweetest moments into something suffocating.
Lando had always been good at managing the weight of the sport—keeping his mind sharp, his body stronger. But even the best-built machines showed signs of wear. His friends saw it in the way his laughter didn’t reach his eyes. His team noticed the uncharacteristic silence between debriefs. His fans, ever watchful, caught glimpses of something heavier behind the usual smiles.
Now, with a rare break in the chaos, it was clear that he didn’t just need rest. He needed reinforcements.
“The food I ordered half an hour ago? Yeah… they just told me the restaurant’s actually closed now,” Lando muttered
Max blinked, mouth slightly open. “So… they told you there’s no food, and you died on Tarkov? That’s a double fucking shitter, my jeez.” He dragged a hand down his face, visibly pained for his best mate.
Lando let out a defeated laugh. “Hasn’t exactly been the best couple of months for me, really.”
Max exhaled. “Mate, you need a personal chef or something. You’ve got too much on your plate.”
“I actually have nothing on my plate right now, funnily enough.”
“Right, well—eating weeks-old frozen food from your fridge isn’t exactly the fix, is it?” Max sighed, already knowing that’s exactly what Lando was about to do.
"Don't really have much of a choice now don't I mate?"
"Chat's saying you need a girlfriend" Max states rather matter of factly
"You could say that again"
-----------------------------------------------------------
A series of persistent knocks, followed by the sharp buzz of his phone vibrating against the nightstand, dragged Lando from the depths of sleep. He groaned, squinting against the soft morning light that seeped through the curtains, his brain sluggish as he reached for his phone.
A slight frown tugged at his face when he saw the caller—one of his closest friends. A couple of missed calls from both them and Max F. only deepened his confusion. Rubbing the sleep from his eyes, he pulled his hoodie over his head and shuffled toward the door, answering the call as he went.
“Y/N? I just woke up—sorry, could you give me a minute? I’ll call you back, someone’s at the—” He stopped mid-sentence, mid-step.
Because standing on the other side of the door, phone still pressed to their ear, was Y/N. Bags in hand.
"Hey… Max told me you knew I was coming. Him and P just dropped me off. They’re out running a couple of errands," Y/N said, ending the call and slipping her phone into her pocket.
Lando blinked at her, still processing. "No, actually, he didn't. I didn’t even know he was coming here. Did you just get here, or?"
"I landed about two hours ago," she said with a soft laugh. "Been standing here for the past twenty minutes, though."
"Shit, my bad, Y/N. I really didn’t know." Lando sighed, running a hand through his hair, his brain scrambling to recall any moment where Max might have maybe mentioned this.
"Hey, it’s all good! Sorry for dropping by all of a sudden—I really should’ve reached out beforehand anyway. I just thought you and Max had already sorted it out."
"What? No, Y/N, don’t apologize, silly." Lando finally snapped out of his trance and stepped aside. "Come in—fuck, I mean, the apartment’s a mess, but make yourself at home." He quickly reached for some of her bags, ushering her inside before shutting the door behind them.
"What exactly did Max say?" Lando finally asked, still scrambling to pick up the mess scattered across his living room. "Don't get me wrong, I'm glad to see you, but this is just so... out of the blue."
"Honestly? He was worried," Y/N admitted, grabbing a few stray items to help. "Said you didn’t seem to be doing too well. Thought maybe you could use some company during the break. Listen, Lando, I came here thinking you knew about this. I completely understand if you’d rather be alone right now—I know you’re busy and all—"
"No!" Lando cut in, pausing mid-cleanup. His expression softened, and for the first time since opening the door, the tension in his shoulders seemed to ease. "I'm… I'm really glad you're here. Max is right. It hasn’t been easy." He exhaled, offering her a small, tight-lipped smile. "Thank you. For being here. I really appreciate it."
Then, with a playful tilt of his head, he spread his arms. "You gonna hug me, or are you just gonna stand there?"
Y/N let out a small laugh, relief washing over her as she finally saw that familiar spark in his eyes. Taking a few steps forward, she let Lando wrap her in a tight hug, his hold warm, grounding. Exactly what he hadn’t realized he needed.
------------------------------------------------------------
The first day of Y/N being there was more housekeeping than anything else. Between cleaning up Lando’s apartment, clearing out the fridge, and fixing up the guest room, the day passed in a blur of chores. By the time Max and P finally arrived, the boys volunteered to head out and pick up some late lunch—partly because there was absolutely nothing to eat at Lando’s place, and partly so Max could finally discuss the sly plan he had cooked up.
A heavy silence filled the car as Lando gripped the wheel, his knuckles tightening against the leather.
"You’re awfully quiet," Max finally said, side-eyeing his best friend from the passenger seat.
"Oh yeah? Wonder why," Lando bit back. "Maybe ‘cause my best friend decided to go behind my back and plan shit without telling me. The fuck were you thinking not mentioning she was coming over to stay?"
"Mate, it was all in good conscience," Max said with an exaggerated sigh. "Plus, what happened between you two… it was months ago—"
"Exactly!" Lando snapped. "I haven’t even been back home to talk about it since. Fuck’s sake, Max… it’s weird enough I haven’t seen her in ages, but springing this on me? That’s insane, even for you."
Max groaned, rubbing a hand over his face. "Why can’t the two of you just admit you like each other like the grown, mature adults you supposedly are and get on with it? It’s honestly exhausting."
"You know why."
"I actually don’t. Please, do explain. I’d love to hear whatever shit excuse you’ve got lined up. Go on then."
Lando let out a slow, tired sigh. "I’m busy, she’s busy. I can’t just drag her along with me and make her leave everything behind so we can be together. And you know how the media is, Max. I don’t want her dealing with all that hate. You’ve seen how bad it gets."
Max scoffed. "And what do you think she just did? She dropped everything to be with you when you needed her, yeah? Her choice. She’s already doing work at Quadrant—her own volition, might I add—on top of her own career. And might I remind you, you were the one who didn’t want to go through with it. From what I heard, she was willing to make it work."
"Yeah?" Lando let out a dry laugh. "From what you heard?"
Max smirked. "Fine. P told me."
"Lando, mate. If it all goes to shit—not that I think it will—I’m sure you’ll sort it out. She cares about you. And I know you feel the same way about her."
Lando sighed, pulling into the parking lot and turning off the engine. He leaned back against the seat for a moment before finally looking over at Max.
"I know you have good intentions," he admitted. "And despite how insane this is, I do appreciate it. I’ll… see where it goes." Then, with a smirk, he nodded toward the door. "Now go pick up the food, ‘cause I’m fucking starving."
Max narrowed his eyes, pointing a finger at him as he unbuckled his seatbelt. "This conversation is not over, by the way."
Lando just laughed, shaking his head as Max climbed out of the car.
------------------------------------------------------------
Lando woke up to the unfamiliar yet oddly comforting sounds of pots clanking and the scent of food filling his apartment. It was so foreign that, for a second, he thought he was dreaming. Rubbing his eyes, he stumbled out of his room, hair a complete mess, barely awake.
"Morning," Y/N greeted, smiling as she wiped her hands on a tea towel. "There’s breakfast on the counter. I’ve got meals sorted out for the rest of the week—followed your diet, so don’t worry."
Lando blinked at her, then at the kitchen, which now looked like a fully stocked catering service. "It’s 9 in the fucking morning, Y/N. What time did you get up for all this?"
"Like… 6:30?"
"Y/N"
"What? I have jet lag."
Lando squinted at her. "We’re in Monaco. London is one hour behind."
"Okay, fine," she sighed. "I wanted to make sure I had it ready for you. It’s nothing, really—it didn’t take me too long."
"Nothing?" Lando gestured at the sea of neatly packed containers. "My kitchen looks like McLaren hospitality right now."
"It’s not a big deal, Lan, really, I—"
Lando didn’t let her finish. He reached out, gently grabbing her hand and stopping her from cleaning. "Could you—please slow down for a sec?" His voice was softer now, his brows furrowing as he tilted her chin up so she’d look at him. "Y/N, you don’t have to do all this. You don’t have to take care of me."
Lando sighed deeply, his arms instinctively pulling Y/N into a tight hug. He pressed a gentle kiss to the top of her head, his heart heavy. "I don't deserve you."
Y/N’s arms wrapped around him, her voice soft as she spoke, her thumbs tracing gentle circles on his back. "You have me, either way"
Lando pulled back just enough to look at her, his expression clouded. He ran a hand through his hair, trying to find the words. "Look, Y/N... we can't. I can't do this right now. What I said about us—about this, months ago... that's still how I feel. I like you... a lot, trust me, I do. But this is too much, and I can't possibly ask you to—"
He couldn’t keep eye contact, his gaze drifting as if the weight of everything was too much to bear.
Y/N took a step back but stayed close, her eyes searching his. She offered a small smile, but it didn’t quite reach her eyes. "I get it, Lan. I’m here for you. As a friend." She took a deep breath. "What I said, about me wanting to be here... to do this with you... I meant that too. I still feel that way. I told you I can wait. You’re worth it."
"You two done being sappy, or should I give you a couple more minutes?" Max's voice echoed through the apartment, making both Lando and Y/N jump and scramble to step away from each other in a panic.
"You little shit, how long have you been stood there listening? You fucking weirdo." In a swift motion, Lando grabbed the nearest object, a spatula, and tossed it across the room. It flew past Max’s head, narrowly missing him as he stood frozen in the middle of the living room.
"So sorry, guys. I told him not to come in without knocking." P finally steps into the apartment, giving Max a pinch on his side. Max let out an exaggerated yelp, squirming away from her with a pained expression.
"Ow! Everyone’s so violent this morning," Max groaned, rubbing his side as P smirked, clearly satisfied with herself.
"You're ridiculous. Just gonna run to the bathroom real quick then we can have breakfast and plan the rest of our day" Lando shook his head with a groan, but a small, amused smile tugged at the corners of his lips as he leaves the room
Max took the chance to walk over to Y/N, who was quietly setting the table for breakfast. "You good?" he asked, his voice low, careful not to let Lando hear.
Y/N glanced up at him with a soft, knowing smile. "Take a wild guess, Max. Bet you heard enough to figure out how I'm doing right now." She let out a quiet laugh, but it was tinged with something he couldn’t quite place, defeat, maybe?
Max took a breath, his tone shifting to something gentler, more understanding. "Look, he... you know how he is. As much as I want this for the two of you, you don’t have to wait for him. He can’t just expect you to be there until he’s finally ready. No one’s gonna hold it against you." His voice dropped.
Y/N shook her head slightly, her smile softening. "You’re really sweet, Max, but I’m okay. I promise." She was careful, though, making sure her words felt sincere.
Max gave her a small, thoughtful nod. "Just trying to look out for the two of you is all."
"I know," Y/N replied. She didn’t need Max’s concern to know what was best for her, but it was comforting, knowing that someone understood.
------------------------------------------------------------
Several races had passed since Y/N was last at Lando's apartment. Despite the distance, they’d kept in close contact—calls, texts, little check-ins whenever they could steal a moment. Lando was clearly doing better, each conversation revealing just how much he’d grown over the past few weeks.
Now, it was the Singapore Grand Prix weekend, and Y/N had finally managed to take some time off work. She’d been counting down the days until she could see Lando again, her excitement mingled with the kind of nervous energy that had been building up ever since she booked her flight. The anticipation was almost unbearable, especially when she considered how much her feelings for him had grown since their last conversation.
Despite the distance, despite all the unsaid things, she found herself thinking about him more and more, how his laugh had sounded over the phone, how his presence felt like a comfort when they’d been together. But now, standing outside of Mclaren's hospitality, waiting for Lando to step out his driver room after finishing free practice, everything felt good.
"Y/N! Hey, haven’t seen you around in a while. How have you been?" Zach, a close friend of Oscar Piastri, and someone Y/N had become friends with, walked over with a smile.
"Zach, it’s good to see you. I’m great, just been busy with work is all. The car seems good, Lando and Oscar are driving really well too" Y/N replied with a warm smile, happy to see a familiar face in the paddock.
"Things are looking great. We’re doing really well in the constructors, too. You waiting for Lando?" Zach asked, leaning against the railing casually.
"Mhmm, I’m catching a ride with him back to the hotel. He texted me, he’d be out in a bit." Y/N explained, glancing down at her phone to check for any updates from Lando.
"Right... listen. Are you free any time this weekend? Maybe even after the race? I was thinking—"
"Ready to go?" Lando's voice cut in, and he walked over to the pair, bag slung over his shoulder and phone in hand. "Oh, hey man, sorry, we gotta go. Got some friends waiting for us."
Zach smiled, stepping back. "Oh, don’t let me hold you back. I’ll see you around, Y/N. You still got my number, right?"
"Yep, I’ll catch up with you next time," Y/N said, giving Zach a friendly nod.
"Perfect. Hope you enjoy the weekend. It’s great having you back in the paddock," Zach said with a grin, stepping in to give Y/N a quick hug before patting Lando’s arm as he walked past. "Great stuff today, man. See you around."
Lando raised an eyebrow, his voice laced with slight bitterness as they walked toward the parking lot. "Didn’t know you two were close like that."
Y/N couldn’t help but roll her eyes, her tone dripping with sarcasm. "Yes, hello to you too, Lando. So great to see you after months, feels fantastic to finally be here with you."
Lando chuckled, though it was clear there was a hint of jealousy in his voice, "I didn’t mean it like that, just... you two seemed pretty chummy." He smirked at her, trying to play it off.
Y/N leaned back in the passenger seat, a mischievous glint in her eye. "Don't know, I actually think he's pretty cute."
Lando almost slammed the door shut in frustration, his face twisting into a scoff. "Cute? Right."
"What? You jealous?" Y/N teased, barely able to suppress the grin tugging at the corners of her mouth.
"I'm not," Lando grumbled, eyes focused on the road but his jaw clenched slightly.
"You so are. Your ears are red."
"I'm not" he repeated, his voice tinged with defensiveness.
"So you don't mind if I go out for dinner with him after the race then?" Y/N raised an eyebrow, her tone light but with a little edge, just to push his buttons. It was playful, but they both knew the boundaries—they weren’t together, not officially.
"No."
"No, you don't mind?" Y/N repeated, pressing him further.
"No, you can't" Lando snapped back, his hand gripping the steering wheel a little too tightly.
"Why?" she asked innocently, though a knowing smile played at her lips.
"Cause then you'll miss my victory party," Lando replied with a sly smirk, glancing over at her briefly.
Y/N raised an eyebrow, pretending to be unimpressed. "Oh wow, cocky now, are we?" She let out a laugh, though deep down, she couldn't ignore how his confidence was somehow making him all the more attractive.
"Wow" Lando gasped dramatically, glancing over at her with exaggerated disbelief. "You don't think I'll win this weekend? You're breaking my heart, darling."
Y/N rolled her eyes but couldn't help the smile that tugged at her lips. "Don't get too cocky, Norris. The race isn't over until it's over."
"True," he said, eyes twinkling with amusement. "But I like to think I’ve got this in the bag. You better be there to celebrate my win, Y/N."
She met his gaze, her playful teasing giving way to something softer, something more real. "We'll see," she replied, a small but genuine smile on her face. "But if you win, I'll begin to think I'm your lucky charm."
Lando nodded, a hint of satisfaction in his expression. "You just might be."
------------------------------------------------------------
"We’ve got this in the bag, Lando. Stick to Plan A, do what you do best, and we’ll take care of the rest. Focus on the drive, and if anything shifts, we’ll adjust. We’re counting on maximum points from you two tonight." Will, Lando's race engineer, pauses, his eyes locking with Lando's, waiting for confirmation after his brief but crucial words.
"Lando."
"Yeah yeah. Maximum points, drive fast, got it." Lando mutters, his response flat, his attention half there. As important as this race is, his mind keeps drifting back to Y/N. She’s in the garage, talking with Zach. His Y/N. The thought pulls at him in a way he can’t shake.
Will’s voice cuts through the haze. "I need 100% of your focus, Lando. The race starts in 30." He hands him his earplugs, but Lando’s gaze is distant.
"Yep, heard." Lando mutters again, his tone quieter, his mind still elsewhere as he turns to leave, the weight of his thoughts lingering like an anchor.
Y/N and Zach were in the middle of an easy, lighthearted conversation. Lando, across the garage, could only watch, his gaze sharpening as he noticed how comfortable Y/N and Zach looked together. The laughter between them, the way they stood too close, it ate at him.
"Y/N, can I talk to you for a minute?" Lando’s voice cut through the air, direct and intense, as he strode toward them.
Y/N looked up at him, surprised but giving him a warm smile. "Yeah, what’s up? You nervous?" She didn’t get up from her seat, still in that calm, relaxed mood.
"Alone" Lando said, his tone sharper now, as the urgency in his words broke through.
"Oh—yeah, of course." She rose to follow him, a furrow crossing her brow, concerned by the intensity in his eyes. They walked towards a quieter corner of the garage, far enough from prying eyes and cameras.
As soon as they were alone, she looked at him. "Is everything okay? Do you need me to call Max or—"
Lando didn’t give her a chance to finish. "I don’t like this. You and him, talking... being all flirty. I don’t like it." The words spilled out of him faster than he could stop them, relief and frustration flooding his chest. It was all coming out at once.
Y/N blinked, trying to keep her voice steady. "I’m not flirting, Lando. He’s just a friend."
Lando’s frustration reached its peak. "I’m just a friend, Y/N! Fuck’s sake... I can’t get in the car like this, not with this on my mind. Not like this." He ran a hand through his hair, clearly agitated.
She stepped closer, her voice soft but firm. "Hey, Lan. What’s going on? You wanted this—actually, no, you didn’t want anything right now, did you? You said so yourself. I’m not doing this to make you jealous or get back at you, He's just a friend. That’s it."
But Lando shook his head, his voice shaking with vulnerability. "I don’t know what I want, okay! But seeing you... with him? I don’t want to lose you, Y/N. I can’t lose you."
A soft laugh escaped her lips, though it held a touch of sadness. She gently took his hands in hers, stopping him from messing up his hair further. "You’re not gonna lose me, you silly boy."
Lando looked at her, searching her eyes for some sign that she understood, that she felt the same pull. "One kiss. Give me one kiss. Let’s pretend nothing else matters. Just right now, right here, with you. One kiss before I go." His voice was a whisper, full of longing and desperation.
Y/N’s heart skipped a beat as she met his gaze, her eyes softening. She cupped his face, her thumb brushing across his jawline as she spoke quietly, almost to herself. "Nothing else matters... I don’t have to pretend. You’re all I want, Lando. Why can’t you see that?"
Lando exhales quietly, his fingers grazing her cheek as he tucks a stray strand of hair behind her ear. They stand close, the world around them fading into the background, neither in a rush to break the moment. Their eyes meet, lingering, only flickering downward for the briefest second before finding each other again.
"You take corners faster than this—are you gonna kiss me, or should I send in a request for DRS?" Y/N teases, tilting her head with a smirk.
Lando leans in, closing the small space between them, his lips pressing firmly against hers. It’s not their first kiss, there had been fleeting moments before, small pecks here and there, brief touches exchanged in passing, but this is different. There’s no hesitation, no second-guessing. Their movements are unhurried, deliberate. It’s a kiss that speaks of everything unspoken, deep and certain, carrying the weight of something that had been waiting to happen.
She’s the first to pull away, though neither of them really want to. But reality tugs at Lando, he has somewhere to be.
Before stepping back, he presses a lingering kiss to her lips, another lighter one at the corner of her mouth. His lips brush her cheek, then her forehead, a quiet farewell without words. When he finally pulls away, he catches the flush creeping up her neck and smirks.
"I'm quick when it matters," he murmurs. "But some things are worth taking my time on."
-----------------------------------------------------------
It was the kind of weekend that felt almost predestined, Lando wins in Singapore, by a massive 20-second gap to Verstappen in P2. But even with the trophy in his hands and the roar of the crowd in his ears, his eyes searched for only one thing.
And there she was.
Among the sea of faces, hers stood out effortlessly, beaming with pride, hands clapping in celebration. The victory was unforgettable, but this moment, seeing her there, cheering for him, was the one he’d carry with him forever.
Lando could hardly sit still. He’d been rocking on the balls of his feet, barely paying attention to the post-race interviews with Oscar, his mind already somewhere else. The second the cameras cut off, he was up, grabbing his things in record time, making Oscar chuckle at his urgency.
"Word in my garage is you’ve got yourself a little lucky charm now," Oscar smirked, watching as Lando fumbled with his phone, already dialing Y/N.
"Word spreads fast, huh?"
"Finally made a move?"
"Yeah, took me long enough," Lando laughed, giving his teammate a quick pat on the back as he pressed his phone to his ear.
The call barely rang before her teasing voice filled his speaker. "Why hello there, champ. Miss me already?"
A grin stretched across Lando’s face, warmth creeping up his chest. "Always, baby. Where are you? Need my post-race kiss, like, now."
"On your left."
Lando spun around, immediately spotting her seated outside the motorhome with Max and P. He didn’t even bother ending the call properly, just stuffed his phone in his pocket and made a beeline for her.
"There he is! Mr. 20-second lead. Mate, you were proper flying—"
Max didn’t even get to finish before Lando stopped behind Y/N’s chair, tilting her chin up and leaning down to kiss her. This one deeper, lingering, completely unbothered by the fact that they had company.
"Shit—when did this happen?" Max gaped, his arm tightening around P as if he needed something to ground him.
"Just before the race. Can’t believe you’re only finding out now, thought the whole paddock knew by now," Lando chuckled, hands rubbing Y/N’s shoulders as she sat there, visibly flustered, still adjusting to the attention.
"Well, damn. About time."
Y/N glanced up at Lando, still a little dazed, but the way he was looking at her, like she was the only thing in the world that mattered, made her forget about everything else. He pressed one last kiss to the top of her head before leaning down, voice just for her.
“You’re my good luck charm.”
She laughed softly, squeezing his hand. “Guess that means I have to stick around then, huh?”
Lando grinned, brushing his thumb over her knuckles. “Oh, baby, you’re not going anywhere.”

More Than Worthy
Pairing: Bucky Barnes x Female Reader
Summary: Bucky wants to make you his wife.
Word Count: Over 1k
Warnings: Implied smut, fluff, happy tears, established relationship, feels, Bucky Barnes (he's a warning, okay?)
A/N: Inspired by this ask here, more of our beautiful Mr. and Mrs. Barnes. Not beta read and written on my phone, so any and all mistakes are my own. Divider by the talented @saradika-graphics. Please follow @navybrat817-sideblog new fics and notifications. Comments, reblogs, feedback are loved and appreciated!

It was an ordinary day when Bucky decided to propose to you.
He returned from a mission the day before and you welcomed him home with a smile on your face and open arms. It felt like he had been away for ages when in reality it was only a few days. It didn’t take long for him to drag you to bed so he could properly celebrate making it home to you, a mixture of pent-up energy and the need to feel you around him. Your moans of pleasure were a sound he missed while he was away, and you cried out his name so beautifully when you came. It didn’t take him long to fall over the edge with you, forever going wherever you were.
Bucky paid no attention to the time when he woke up, the sun shining through the curtains and casting a beautiful glow over your sleeping form. He took a moment to study you, the curves of your body as you faced him, the way your mouth parted slightly as you breathed. Brushing a finger along your cheek, he smiled when you scooted closer to him. He also felt a sense of pride from wearing you out the night before.
And outside forces be damned, nothing was getting him out of bed today.
You stirred once he kissed your forehead and wrapped his arm tighter around you. It took a moment for your eyes to focus before you whispered, “Morning.”
He exhaled, his heart beating faster when you smiled a sleepy tender smile. It amazed him how he fell more in love with you every day, but you made it so easy. The love you had was raw, pure, and real, a deep and lasting connection built from trust and respect, understanding and compassion. It endured and grew, going beyond the physical attraction he’d always have for you. You saw each other for who you were and valued each other fully. No matter the trials and tribulations you’d face, you’d do it together while your love endured and grew.
It was your love he thought of when he took your hand in his and gently whispered back, “Marry me.”
He heard your heart accelerate when you lifted your head. “What?” you asked, your voice still laced with sleep. Your eyes were wide open though and you wanted to be sure you heard him correctly.
He swallowed, his throat suddenly dry. Not releasing your hand, he leaned over to open the nightstand drawer and took out a box. “You told me to ask you when you weren’t expecting it and when the time was right,” he explained, facing you again. “It’s time.”
Because he didn’t want to go another day without you being his wife.
You gasped and covered your mouth when he opened the box, tears springing to your eyes that sparkled almost as bright as the diamond in the ring. “Oh, my god…”
He helped you sit up, both of you on your knees on the bed. For a split second he thought his eyes would mist over, but he kept it together. “After everything I went through, I wasn't sure if I was capable of allowing myself to be loved. I just… Part of me felt so broken and unworthy.” He took a breath, not wanting to fuck this up. It already wasn’t perfect since there weren’t flowers or a romantic dinner, but this came straight from his heart and that was enough. “But then you came along and changed my life.”
You let out a happy laugh as a tear fell, which he quickly wiped away. “I did?”
“You did, and you know it,” he smiled back. Meeting you gave him a second chance and you changed everything for the better. “You showed me that not only was I not broken but I was more than worthy of being loved.”
“You are worthy of so much love, Bucky Barnes,” you smiled.
“So are you, baby. I love you so much, and I’m a better man because of you,” he swore, taking the ring out of the box as his heart continued to pound. Simple, beautiful, eternal. “So, will you marry me? Be my wife and my partner and continue to fight by my side in life and love?”
Bucky held his breath as he waited for your answer. He wanted to give you the kind of life and love you were worthy of. He wanted to protect and stand by you, and he didn’t want to imagine life without you.
Pressing your forehead to his, you breathed the simple most beautiful word against his lips. “Yes.”
“Yes?” he asked, his next breath shaky. Was the universe messing with him again? Was something going to drag him back to hell when he had heaven right in front of him?
“Yes!” you smiled. “Yes, I’ll marry you.”
He pulled back to look at you closely, seeing nothing but love in your pretty eyes. “Are you sure? Because-”
“Mr. Barnes, put that ring on my finger so I can really call myself the future Mrs. Barnes,” you demanded, putting your hand in his face. “Please,” you added hastily.
His nose scrunched as his laughter filled the room. “Yes, future Mrs. Barnes,” he repeated. Slipping the ring on your finger, he placed a tender kiss over it. The perfect fit. “Thank you, baby,” he exhaled.
It was the only warning you got before he put you on your back and covered his lips with yours. He wanted to shout to everyone that you were going to be his wife, but he happily settled for saying “I love you” into your mouth. You breathed the words right back to him. And since he hadn’t planned to leave the bed anyway, he made love to you, your fingers laced together, the engagement ring pressing into his skin and reminding him that he wasn’t alone. That he had a future to look forward to.
He was home, holding you close, deep inside you, right where he belonged.
And he was more than worthy of love.
I love them, what can I say? ❤️ Love and thanks for reading! ❤️

attention
pairing: lando norris x reader
summary: in which lando and your son are fighting for your attention
warnings: two very clingy babies
a/n: first f1 fanfic! lmk what you guys think!
the house is eerily quiet, save for the faint hum of the tv in the background. you’re curled up on the couch, flicking through a magazine, legs tucked beneath you. it’s one of those rare moments when everything feels calm—well, that’s about to change. because in this house, peace never lasts long.
theo, your five-year-old, suddenly bursts into the room, his little footsteps echoing on the hardwood floor. he’s clutching a set of plastic blocks, face bright with excitement. “mummy, look! i built the biggest tower!” he exclaims, holding them up in front of you like a trophy, his wide eyes pleading for your praise.
you glance up and smile, your heart melting just a little at his enthusiasm. “wow, theo! that’s amazing! you worked so hard on it.”
just as you’re about to reach for the blocks to take a closer look, lando strolls in, hair still damp from his shower, a towel around his neck. he scans the room and spots you on the couch. his eyes gleam mischievously, and before you know it, he’s leaning toward you. “hey, that’s my spot,” he says, playfully pointing at your lap.
theo freezes, glaring at lando as if he just dared to commit a great injustice. “no! mummy’s mine!” theo declares, squeezing tighter around your neck, like a tiny koala.
you laugh softly, amused at how ridiculous this whole situation is. “boys, please. there’s enough of me to go around, okay?”
lando pouts, but it’s clear he’s not giving up that easily. “but i was here first,” he says with a dramatic sigh, flopping onto the couch beside you. he leans in closer, clearly making a point to get as close as possible. “i want some attention too.”
theo, sensing the challenge, crosses his arms over his chest. “no, you can’t have her,” he huffs, his little voice firm and adamant.
you try to keep your composure, but it’s hard when both of them are giving you that look—like they’re both fighting for the same thing. your attention. “lando, theo, seriously. you both need to share. i love you both, no need to fight.”
but theo’s not backing down. “mummy, look at my tower! it’s way bigger than daddy’s race car!” he lifts the blocks again, practically shoving them in your face.
lando grins, his eyes narrowing with playful challenge. “oh, really? i think i’ve got a pretty awesome race car. much cooler than a tower.” he leans in, making sure you can hear his tone. “want to see it, babe?”
theo gasps in horror. “no! mummy! look at my tower!” he says, pushing lando’s arm away, as if he could physically block his dad from you. his tiny hands press against lando’s chest, trying to shove him back.
lando raises an eyebrow, impressed. “well, i guess he’s got a bit of me in him, huh?” he grins, nudging theo with his elbow.
theo shakes his head furiously, his little body tense as he pulls your arms tighter around himself. “no! mummy’s mine!” he says, his tone determined, though there’s an adorably stubborn edge to it.
you laugh, trying to calm the storm that’s brewing between your two favorite people. “boys,” you sigh, but there’s a smile tugging at your lips, “can we all just get along?”
lando leans over, pressing a quick kiss to your cheek, fully aware that theo is watching. “well, i think i’m still winning,” he says, looking at you with a teasing grin.
theo, who had been trying to maintain his stance as the “only one worthy of mummy’s attention,” glares at his dad, then glances at you. “mummy, tell daddy he can’t sit here. i need you.”
you raise an eyebrow at theo’s bold declaration. “theo,” you start, chuckling, “i’m not telling daddy he can’t sit here. i love both of you. and you both need to share mummy’s attention.”
lando stretches out next to you with a dramatic groan, “but it’s so much more fun when i get all of it.” he nudges theo with his foot, a playful gleam in his eye.
theo crosses his arms, sticking his tongue out at his dad. “mummy’s my best friend,” he says defiantly.
“oh really?” lando smirks, raising an eyebrow. “well, i’m pretty sure i’m her best friend too.”
the battle rages on. and despite the chaos, you wouldn’t trade it for the world. because in the end, you have the best of both worlds—two amazing boys who will never stop fighting for your attention, and your heart full of love for them both.

Cw graphic descriptions of pregnancy/childbirth under cut & mention of SA
I always heard the same crap that childbirth is magic & motherhood is so special & opens your heart etc etc well as an enby I have found ways to enjoy parenthood but there was absolutely nothing magical about pregnancy/birth at all
My first labor lasted 11 hours. My oldest kid was a 42 weeker. I was miserable. I was running up and down stairs and bouncing on exercise balls to try and bring on labor because I was 15 & pregnant by rape and I was not going to let myself get cut open over it. They hooked up a pitocin drip that made my contractions feel incredibly unnatural.
Hour 10 of 11, OBGYN comes in and expresses concern that the baby hasn't been born yet. He takes a look and notices that the skin around my vagina had failed to expand enough to allow passage of a kid who was 9lbs and had a huge head. He tells me he needs to "open me up" to allow the baby to pass through. I was so distressed that I just nodded.
He hooked his fingers into my vagina and manually tore it open. I needed 34 stitches. I am just thankful that somehow nothing too important got ripped & I still have full sensation in my pelvic floor. I have, however, dealt with minor incontinence since.
My second labor was the end of an incredibly miserable pregnancy that nearly killed me. I had been dealing with hyperemesis gravidarum. I had been hospitalized several times during my pregnancy. I was severely malnourished. My teeth are permanently fucked from it. I lost over 80lbs. The constant vomiting left tears in my esophagus. I had dealt with doctors not listening to me. I was delirious from how sick I was and was often unable to properly advocate for myself. I had been begging for an induction from the minute I hit 37 weeks and was told no. Another 42 weeker. They finally allowed me to be induced and uh. They scheduled me for 8am. I was instructed to arrive at 6am. They put me in a room and just left me there. I was vomiting & dry heaving nonstop per what was normal for me at that time. I asked how long before they started the pitocin drip. They said they were too busy and I needed to stop "gagging" and rolled their eyes when I told them I couldn't, my body was trying to force me to vomit but my stomach was empty.
The pitocin drip wasn't started until 11pm. I sat in the bed just waiting, put on strict orders to not eat or drink anything (at that point it wasn't hard since I couldn't hold anything down anyways) and they complained about how I was trying to sleep while waiting for the contractions to start. Labor hit hard and fast and my second kid was born at 1am. That was when I finally got some release from my HG and I was starving. Everywhere was closed. My then-husband managed to find a McDonalds that was open. My nurses made faces at me when they saw how much & how voraciously I ate. The same nurses who watched me be hospitalized because I was literally starving to death and my body was leeching the minerals out of my bones & cannibalizing its own muscle to sustain the baby.
My third pregnancy and labor were much less eventful.
Every single one of my pregnancies was the result of failed birth control. Every single one fucked my mind & my body in ways I could have never imagined. My kids are great and I am glad they exist, I wouldn't change this life for anything. But in another life, if I had a do-over knowing what I know now, I might not have had kids at all
giving birth sucks tbh. not only do you and the baby you’re birthing almost die, usually you shit yourself and often you tear your taint. then you have to push an organ out of your body (placenta) and if even a little of that remains in your body, you can hemorrhage to death or develop an infection that essentially rots your body from the inside out. even if you had a relatively “easy birth”, you bleed for weeks on end. even after that stops, your body and brain is changed for the rest of your life, the pregnancy leeched minerals from your bones, that can cause osteoporosis later. minor urinary incontinence is not uncommon, brain scans of people who gave birth show permanent changes in their brain, you’re never quite the same.
I say all of this not to say giving birth is disgusting but it is a harrowing and visceral experience. society downplays how fucking awful it is and makes it out to be a ~magical~ experience but it isn’t a magical transformative experience for everyone. it can be an extremely traumatic experience for someone who wanted to carry a pregnancy to term, much more so for someone who did not want to be pregnant in the first place or someone who knows their baby won’t survive the birth. anyway, abortion is a right. pregnancy and birth aren’t just inconvenient, it’s fucking awful.
#reproductive care is healthcare#childbirth is dehumanizing#the way birthing people are treated is disgusting#abortion is healthcare#childbirth#pregnancy#hyperemesis gravidarum#hg

hate the way i love you . ݁₊ ⊹ .

chapter 1
pairing; jock!chris x loser!reader (secret dating)
your valentines plans ruined. tensions rise between you and chris as you wonder if he is really as committed in your relationship as he says he is.
warnings; toxic relationship, underage drinking, mentions of feeling sick.

you hid your phone as you read the message chris had texted, it was only 20 minutes into first period english. with nick sitting beside you, you didn’t want him to see your phone and question why his brother was texting you.
your brain working to make an excuse to leave class, you didn’t want to keep chris waiting especially when you knew that he was probably already there.
“i can’t believe we have no valentines! this is sick,” nick sighs dropping his head onto the desk, his eyes peering up at you. “how about we go out and get pizza, maybe come back to mine since my brothers are going to be out?”
“i actually have plans tonight,” you admit, nick shooting off the desk looking at you in confusion.
“with who?” he asks curiously, you sigh before shaking your head.
“nothing special, i think my parents are taking me out to dinner because they feel sorry for my lonely ass,” you lie, still looking at the text you received thinking of a way to leave class.
“fuck i really wanted us to rewatch ‘bottoms’ together,” nick pouts before going onto his phone.
this was the first time you had an actual valentines in your life, and you had exhausted yourself the night before to make sure you were prepared. you had shaved, exfoliated and moisturised completing the most treacherous everything shower, meticulously doing your hair the way chris liked. A little red dress that hugged your figure just right hanging in your closet for wherever chris was planning on taking you tonight.
“look at this,” you quickly closed your messages as you look to see the tiktok nick was showing you, it being a slideshow of horses with weirdly big human feet.
“your for you page is fucked,” you giggle as he scrolls showing the next tiktok.
“yeah well you should see chris and matt’s,” he says, you think to agree that chris’ was way worse but stop yourself before realising that it wouldn’t make any sense for you to know.
you murmur an ‘i bet,’ at him before standing up and grabbing your bag.
“where are you going?” nick asks confused it had only been 20 minutes into class.
“y/n, is there something wrong?” your teacher says making his way over.
“i think i started my period, i need to go to the bathroom” you whisper the lie, pointing to your bag feining embarrassment.
“oh! okay go quick,” your teacher says awkwardly, motioning towards the door, nick giving you a look as of sympathy.

you see chris standing under the bleachers, looking around for you. he was in his football jersey and some dark washed jeans, his north face backpack sliding down his back.
“chris!” you called out, his eyes snapping to the sound and his face into a smile when he spots you.
“hey baby,” he wraps his arms around you pulling you in for a kiss. “took you long enough.”
“look i had to say i was on my period leave class,” you sigh into his lips, relishing in the comfort that they brought you.
he quickly pulls away to grab his backpack, unzipping the bag to pull out a bouquet of flowers.
“happy valentines,” he holds the bouquet out, you blush before taking them gratefully.
“thank you, they’re beautiful,” you admire the flowers, pulling him into a hug.
“not as beautiful as you though,” his words coming out muffled against your neck, the smell of his addicting cologne making you dizzy.
“so what we doing tonight?” you ask, chris pulling back to give you a confused look.
“what do you mean?” you look at him with equal confusion, putting the flowers safely into your bag.
“i thought you said we were going somewhere out of the city to eat?” you look at him as his face breaks into an awkward grimace.
“about that-” he starts looking everywhere but you.
“what? don’t tell me you’re going to a party. who has a party on valentines day?” you say irritated, this wasn’t the first time he had blown off a date because one of his friends had decided to throw a party.
“courtney-” you would’ve thought you had heard him wrong but the guilty look on his face confirmed what he was saying. courtney was the head of the cheer squad and was a part of his friend group inconveniently she was been his ex before you.
“courtney? seriously chris. you’re going to go to your ex’s valentines party but won’t take me out.”
“it’s not like that, it’s just everyones going so it would be weird that i’m not.” he looks at you like this was a reasonable reason.
“so what? you can’t miss a single party, are you kidding me,” you back away from him, you had spent so long getting ready and today was supposed to be perfect.
“baby please-” chris walks towards you pleading.
“i have to get back to class but have fun chris,” you turn heading back into the building.

“change of plans, i have nothing to do tonight,” you say as you sit down next to nick.
“oh? what happened to the dinner with your parents?” he asks, looking over your slightly disheveled appearance.
“nothing, i called them when i was in the bathroom to tell them i had made plans today,”
“are you sure they don’t mind?” nick looks hesitant but you quickly shut it down.
“yeah honestly they were happy that i actually had plans today,” you reassure him, truth be told if you had to spend your night alone knowing that chris was out at his ex’s house there was a high chance you would cry yourself to sleep.
“okay then come by mine like 8ish?” a grin spread across nick’s face excited at the thought of a movie marathon.
“yeah, i’ll bring a shit ton of food as well,” you say already mentally noting that you’d have to stop in the store before you arrive to his.
nick claps his hands beginning to ramble about the movies that he wanted to watch.

friday 14th february 8:09 pm
you don’t even have to ring nick that you were outside, he rips open the door as soon as you were in front of it squealing in glee at the bag of food you had brought.
“come in, chris and matt already left,” he ushers you in, taking the bag off of you and dumping the contents on his kitchen table.
“nice shorts,” you giggle, looking at the heart patterned material. nick twirls showing them off in a 360 view.
“i thought it was only fitting, you’re on theme too” he points to the heart pyjamas set you were wearing.
“of course,” you help nick as he finishes setting the assortment of candies into bowls, carrying them into their living room and settling next to each other on the couch. you stuff your face with chocolate as nick stars ‘Bottoms’.
9:55pm
the movie had just ended and nick is sat scrolling through snapchat as you decide on what movie to watch next.
“oh god,” nick says, you hear ‘Rick Flair Drip’ blast out from his phone.
“what is it?” you look over curiously, though immediately regretting your decision. on his phone is a story of courtney pouring a shot into chris’ mouth, part of the liquid falling down his chin. a resounding cheer is heard into the background as arms come into frame to pat him on the back.
“they make me sick,” nick sighs shaking his head, pressing onto the next story posted. this one was somehow worse, it was courtney and another cheerleader ashley with a few of boys off the football team with the caption ‘best valentines party’.
“courtney and chris?” you ask, wondering what he meant by the both of them.
“yeah i mean, it’s so obvious she just threw the party as an excuse to be with chris on valentines,” nick’s face is scrunches up in disapproving scowl “it honestly wouldn’t surprise me if he comes back and i find out that they fucked.”
it felt like bile was coming up your throat, “what do you mean?”
“courtney wants him back so bad. i don’t know why chris doesn’t just date her again, it’s not like he’s got anything else going on,” nick says laying his head back onto the couch “anyways, what movie you choosing?”
“yeah right,” you try to compose yourself but your voice comes out shaky, nick looks up at you confused.
“are you okay?” concern laces his voice as he takes in your paling complexion.
“i don’t know, i just felt really sick all of a sudden,” you get up from the couch, all you wanted to do now is go back home and cry in bed.
“do you need anything?” nick gets up as well, putting his hand to your forehead to check your temperature.
“no, i think i just ate too much candy. i might go back home and try to sleep it off,” you lie, nick looks at you worried.
“yeah that might be it,” you both make your way to the front door, nick telling you to text him when you get home to make sure you got there safe.
as you leave the cool night air hits you, somehow making you feel better but worse at the same time. you just wished that you were in your bed with chris and your cat right now cuddled up watching some cheesy romcom. you try calling him a few times to no avail, sighing you get into your car heading home.
saturday 15th february 12:34am
you chew on your lip, wondering if you should send him a message or not. you had tried calling him a few more times, then thinking to yourself ‘this is my boyfriend why am i worried about texting him?’ you hit send on the message, waiting a few minutes for a response that doesn’t come before finally going to sleep.

sunday 16th february 11:05pm
chris hadn’t texted you anything else since yesterday, sending a simple ‘morning’ at 1pm. he hadn’t said anything about the 10 missed calls you had left on his phone or bothered responding to any of the texts you had sent him after.
you grew restless, doing things you enjoyed like reading or playing with your cat leo wasn’t helping in taking your mind off of him. at times like these where you felt frustrated in your relationship you wish you could talk to nick about it, but the thought of telling him that you had secretly been in a relationship with his brother for 6 months made your stomach churn. not to mention the thought of how chris would react to you telling someone about the relationship.
you sigh deciding to stalk chris’ bitmoji to see where he was whilst he was ignoring you, thinking that you’d find him with matt and nick at a drive-through or at their house. To your surprise it showed him active at a random house with a whole bunch of other people, you curiously click on one of the avatar’s stories, your heart faltering.
even in the dimly lit room and the shitty camera work you could still see chris in the background of the video on his phone, talking to him was courtney and her friend ashley. now it wasn’t like chris was touching her, and you trusted him enough that even if she was flirting that he wouldn’t entertain it. still the feeling in your chest wasn’t going away and you decided to try calling him.
the phone rings twice before the call drops, you were getting annoyed now of his silent treatment and you could see he was active. you send a few texts before deciding to go to bed, and reassuring yourself that surely at school he’d at least try to talk to you.

wednesday 19th february 1:30pm
It had been 4 days since you and Chris had last spoken.
4 days of sending these one sided messages, and at this point you were embarrassed at the blue wall in your chats. his last message still being the one he sent the day after valentines then radio silence after. to make it worse it wasn’t as if you could go and talk to him either, nobody would’ve thought that he even knew you let alone dated you. the sadness you felt had turned into anger.
you had enough of the silence and finally decided to try and corner him alone when you were out of class. though every time you tried he was hanging out with the rest of his friends. it wasn’t hard to spot them considering they were so loud, the group being filled with both football players and cheerleaders.
it was the end of lunch and you were getting your things out of a locker, you stole glances at them hoping that you could at least catch chris’ eye. unfortunately for you, you end up locking eyes with someone else.
“what the fuck is she looking at?” courtney shouts her face contorted in a scowl, fifteen pairs of eyes turn to look at you. seeking at least some comfort you look at chris, who only looks back with a blank expression.
now you were not shy in any means, but the sudden confrontation and the amount of people had heat flooding to your cheeks in embarrassment. “i-no i’m-”
“leave her alone,”
you turn to see nick behind you. you sigh in relief, looking back to see everyone still looking at the both of you.
“or what?” another ashley responses from the lockers flicking her hair behind her and giggling to the others about it.
“can you both shut up,” matt says, offering you a small smile that makes the tension in your chest ease a little bit.
“well does that freak have a fucking staring problem?” courtney continues her eyes trained on you. her lips twitching into a smirk at the sight of you getting flustered.
“oh don’t act like you hate people looking at you, you attention whore” nick rebuttals rolling his eyes. courtney’s face turning bright red in anger, she opens her mouth ready to shout back but ashley quickly tries to calm her down.
nick chuckles beside you, grabbing your arm and dragging you to your shared class. he turns to you “oh my god did you see how red she got?”
“deserved. she’s so annoying,” you and nick laugh as you both sit down in your seats.

wednesday 19th february 5:00pm
you couldn’t resist him. the familiar sight of their door greets you, before you could even knock it swung open to show chris. his soft brown hair falling over his face, he had your favourite sweater of his on.
“hey,” his voice coming out soft, tentative like he was testing the waters between you.
“hey baby,” you say back, he pulls you into a hug and you let out a sigh off relief. you were still mad at him for ignoring you but decided to bring it up later to not ruin the moment.
“cmon, i got something i need to do” chris leads you to his room, he takes of his sweater chucking it onto his bed before flopping down onto it himself.
he pats his bare chest in signal for you to cuddle, you giggle before making your way over and nestling on top on him. you practically melt into him. everything about him comforted you, his familiar scent and his smooth warm skin pressing against your cheek. his left hand comes up to rub up and down your back whilst the right runs gently through your hair.
“i missed this,” he sighs in content, his lips brushing over the top of your head.
“i missed this too,” your words coming out slurred from being smushed against him, he hums beneath you. the both of you lay there in silence enjoying each others presence before chris speaks up.
“i’m sorry about courtney earlier again,” his hand continuing to rub up and down your back in comfort.
“it’s fine, i just wished you would’ve said something to her,” you sleepily stare to the other end of the room, your eyes growing heavy.
“yeah well i can’t exactly do that. it’d make us too obvious,” as the words left his mouth you feel sleepiness disappear completely.
“what?” you sit up, freeing yourself from his hold to whip your head around to look at him.
“nah it’s nothing personal,” chris says sitting up whilst grabbing his sweater and putting it back on.
“well it fucking feels like it when you ‘can’t’ even say anything to her,” you spit out bitterly, hurt with how he was talking about what had happened.
“what do you want me to say? leave my girlfriend alone?” he looks at you absurdly.
“no, maybe i wanted you to be a normal person and tell her to shut the fuck up,”
“what like matt did?” he laughs as if the idea was ridiculous. you felt your heart breaking, was the idea of defending you really that bad to him?
“exactly, your brother can say it so why can’t you?” you felt sick, you had never had an argument like this before and chris was the last person you wanted to have on with.
“go date matt then,” he says angrily.
“are you serious? you’re acting like a child over what? me being angry you can’t call me your girlfriend?” your your voice raising with ever question.
“can you just leave it alone,” chris groans rubbing his face in annoyance.
you look at him in shock, “leave it alone? chris i haven’t said anything about your decision to keep it this a secret for 6 months.”
“yeah well you said it yourself you didn’t want anyone knowing,” it was like he wasn’t listening to anything you were saying and you felt yourself starting to get angrier by the second.
“yeah and i thought that meant no one knowing for maybe the first few weeks not 6 fucking months!” you shout, getting up off his bed.
“can you just fucking drop it, i told you that i would tell everyone when i’m ready.” chris says lowly.
“oh yeah, and when is that? graduation? when we both move to different cities for college?” your chest heaving up and down from frustration.
“i don’t fucking know, okay.” he looks at you with wide eyes like a deer caught in headlights.
“whatever, fuck you.” you grab your phone off of his bed turning quickly for the door.
“wait?- baby slow down,” chris gets up off his bed and moves to try and stop you.
“chris, stop.” you say trying your hardest to stop your eyes from watering, leaving his room. sure both of you had gotten into arguments before but never this heated and never about how your relationship was concealed.
chris didn’t come after you, choosing to stay inside his room. you silently walked out the house and only then did you let your tears fall.

an - ahhhh its here, hopefully you guys like the first chapter even though chris is a major douchebag in it! chapter 2 hopefully coming soon with a much nicer chris and hopefully them resolving their argument fully 💋

there’s glitter on the floor after the party !
teaser it’s your birthday tonight, but do they remember, or care? pair gojo, nanami, geto, toji, sukuna x reader cw angst, just pure torture™, not proofread !
a/n it’s my birthday on 28th wooohoooo ! i wanted to be a sad girl tho *lana intensifies* let’s hope my parents take some notes and NOT do this
GOJO
for someone who liked cakes, sweets and celebrations so much, you didn’t think it would take this long for satoru to realize what day it was. you didn’t want to remind him either; he should remember it on his own, shouldn’t he? moreover, you had hated the look on his face when you reminded him of the anniversary date the two of you had planned together. he had panicked so hard and begun checking his notes and calendars, it was a pathetic sight, honestly.
“what?” his face had fallen immediately.
“don’t you remember?”
“uh, sweets, what exactly am i supposed to remember?” he had said.
he was just busy. but you had agreed upon this when you began dating him. not everyone was the strongest sorcerer in the world, not everyone had the number of things to do that he did.
“no, it’s fine.”
“you sure?” he had asked.
“yeah, it’s nothing, really.”
but you were quite sure he hadn’t forgotten. not this time. because you had checked in on his calendar a week before this, and today was marked rightly “her birthday” with a shit ton of emojis. so what was taking so long? maybe he was planning a surprise party? whatever it was, you didn’t think the prank needed to be dragged on for so long. since he remembered it, he ought to come out and celebrate already. and if he didn’t, well, whatever. you had many other birthdays to celebrate.
not when you saw that the party he kept was for someone else, some other girl, no
NANAMI
you’d been waiting for hours at this point. and it was nanami, the kento nanami. kento was never late, how could he be? if there was something he always relied on it was his ability to tell the time, whether it was his refusal to work overtime or his arrival on your dates before you.
so where was he now? he had hurried off in the morning before you had gotten a word out.
“i’m terribly sorry, sweetheart, i have to leave early today,” he had planted a quick kiss on your forehead.
“okay, okay,” you had blinked in confusion at his hurry. “where are you going though?”
“i have decided something.”
“decided what?”
he’d sighed cryptically. what was he hiding?
“it’s best if you didn’t know.”
“excuse me?”
he’d shaken his head and just… left? he hadn’t even wished you, not the night before, not the morning after. and just what had he decided? you were hurt, of course you were. where was he going in such a hurry? you had felt he had been growing distant from you for long now. but it did not make the pain of being left alone on your fucking birthday any better. but what could you do either way now? you had many other birthdays to celebrate.
not when you saw that he had returned to his sorcerer status, and completely abandoned all the plans the two of you had made for your future, no
GETO
he was too in love with his cult to notice, of course he was. suguru dumbass geto. of course it was his cult’s birthday today, who were you even? when he had first told you, to prevent yourself from crashing the fuck out, you had tried to shut up.
“oh.”
“yeah, so are you joining us tonight?” he had asked, as if he was bestowing an honour upon you by inviting you to his stupid party.
“i didn’t know you kept birthdays for your cult, haha,” please get the hint, you had prayed.
“we do, yes. you will join us tonight, hm? i want to take you there as my date.”
“oh, no, no i don’t think i will, actually.”
“huh, why not? you had been looking forward to this day for a long time, hadn’t you?”
yeah, you had. obviously you had. but when you were jumping around two weeks ago talking excitedly about a ‘birthday’, you did not mean it to be his cult’s day. was that too hard to notice? but all was okay, of course. ‘how could you ruin such a long relationship over a forgotten birthday?’ you were sure that’s what the older women of the cult would talk about if they knew. and besides, you had many other birthdays to celebrate.
not when he had decided to take another woman as his date for the event, showing that you were completely replaceable to him, no
TOJI
he had a mission planned out conveniently at midnight, just when the clock would strike 12 and you’d be a year older. but what could you say? it wasn’t as if it was in his control when someone wanted a person to die or not, he was just the man doing the job.
so you had let it go. one hour, two hours, twelve hours, eighteen hours, where the fuck was he?
“hey, sorry ma,” there was loud cheering from his side of the phone.
“where are you?”
“got this race i wanted to bet on actually—”
“shut up, no seriously, shut the fuck up, toji—”
“what? are you okay?”
“no i’m not, what the fuck—”
there was another cheer of celebration from his side. then silence.
“calm d—”
you hung up. 6pm and he was nowhere. you were sure even if he didn’t pick your call up that time. after this, he would go out drinking with shiu all night long, then come back home drunk and wobbling around, mumbling the tune to ‘happy birthday’ if he realized what day it was, and even then, you thought, you were being too optimistic with that last part. but he was an assassin, and you knew that. didn’t he deserve some happiness in life too? and you, you had many other birthdays to celebrate.
not when everyone tried to remind him of the day but he was too far gone to know, no
SUKUNA
what did you expect? your chamber to be full of decorations? the dining room to be laid with the most beautiful gifts ever? the corridors to be filled with balloons? though none of that was here, the mere mental image of sukuna blowing up balloons and trying not to pop them with his nails was funny.
funny. everything that could make your mind get off right now was funny. blowing the fire of your candelabrum out, leaving behind just smoke and discomfort. funny. pretending the dinner you had been served for the night was your highly expensive banquet designed just for tonight. funny. acting as if sukuna was right by your side, giggling, as if he didn’t always behave like human traditions meant nothing to him. funny.
“it’s my birthday, you know.”
“birthday? alright. what of it?”
“uh, birthday birthday? shouldn’t you be celebrating it?”
“what is there to celebrate? it is merely a day, no?” he had said it so simply that it made you backtrack.
“yes but—”
“and besides, you are only growing older. it would’ve been remarkable and truly something to celebrate if you had been growing younger by the days,” he chuckled, turning away from you to make his way to the council.
you laughed. funny. he was right though, wasn’t he? you had many other birthdays to celebrate.
not when he knew, he knew and he could not care less, showing his disdain for it too, no
of course, of course you had many other birthdays, many other years yet to come.
but not when it came at the expense of your self-respect, and you had to make a choice between loving and loving yourself, no

the girls all arrived to your place as fast as they could, finding you in a state.
"oh my god" kie said, taking you in. all the girls did nothing but hold you as you fell to the floor, heartbreaking sobs escaping you.
sarah pulled you into her arms as you completely broke down. kie and cleo followed, wrapping themselves around you like they could physically hold you together while your entire world was shattering.
“it’s okay,” sarah whispered, even though it wasn’t. “we’re here. we’ve got you.”
but nothing felt okay. nothing felt real.
your chest ached like someone had physically torn it open, leaving you raw and exposed. sobs racked your body, each one more painful than the last, and no matter how tightly the girls held you, it didn’t stop the emptiness from swallowing you whole.
“i—” you tried to speak, but the words caught in your throat, another choked cry escaping instead.
“i know, y/n,” kie murmured, rubbing your back in slow, soothing circles. “i know.”
but she didn’t. none of them did.
“i can’t-” shaking your head. “i can’t do this. it hurts. it hurts so much.”
sarah tightened her hold on you, pressing a kiss to the top of your head. “i know, honey. i know it does.”
this wasn’t just heartbreak, this was losing him, losing everything.
"i don't know what to do." you cried.
"there's nothing you can do." cleo said, wiping your tears.
"i have no right to be upset, i broke up with him." you mumbled.
"you have every right to be upset." kie started, "this is raw, this is painful. you're going through heartbreak. allow yourself to feel this."
you swallowed hard, your breath still coming out in uneven gasps. "but what if he never loved me?" the words felt like glass in your throat, cutting you open on the way out.
sarah pulled back just enough to look at you, her brows furrowed, eyes filled with something close to anger. "don’t do that to yourself, y/n. you know he loved you."
"did he?" you whispered, your voice barely above a breath. "because it sure as hell didn’t take him long to replace me."
kie let out a sharp breath, shaking her head. "that doesn’t mean what you two had wasn’t real. but you were the one who walked away. he was always going to do something reckless after that."
you wiped at your swollen eyes. "well, congrats to him. he fucking won. he destroyed me."
sarah cupped your face, forcing you to look at her. "no. you ended it because you knew you deserved better. and that’s the strongest thing you could have done."
kie squeezed your hand. “ heartbreak is messy. it doesn’t make sense. it tricks you into thinking you need someone who hurt you. but you don’t, y/n. you don’t need him.”
but you did. at least, that’s what it felt like.
rafe had been your everything. your home in a new city, your comfort, your person.
and now?
now, he was just someone kissing another girl on your phone screen.
fresh tears welled up in your eyes as you pulled away, wrapping your arms around yourself like you could physically hold in all the pain. “i hate him,” you whispered, but the words felt hollow, not believing yourself.
because no matter how much you wanted to, you didn’t hate him. you hated how easily he seemed to let go. you hated that he got to be the one moving on while you were stuck here, picking up the pieces of something that had already shattered.
sarah sighed, running a hand through her hair. “you don’t have to be okay right now. but one day, you will be. and when that day comes, you’re gonna realise that you deserve so much more."
maybe one day, you’d believe that, but not today. not yet.

pairing: Ceo!Sunghoon x Secretary!Reader
summary: When CEO Park Sunghoon needs a date for his friend’s wedding, he unexpectedly asks you—his dedicated secretary—to accompany him on a three-day trip. What starts as a professional arrangement quickly shifts into something more as unforeseen circumstances bring you closer together.
word count: 3.8k

Sunghoon Park was a man of routine. Everything in his life was carefully structured—work came first, emotions were secondary, and personal entanglements were unnecessary distractions.
As his secretary, you had long accepted that he was a machine in human form.
Efficient. Cold. Untouchable.
So when he asked you to be his date for a three-day wedding trip, you were… stunned.
"You need a date?" you repeated, wondering if you had misheard him.
Sunghoon, seated at his desk in his pristine office, didn’t even blink. "For a wedding this weekend. Three days."
You folded your arms. "And I was your first choice?"
"You’re the most logical option."
Logical. Of course.
"And this is strictly professional?"
He tilted his head slightly, amusement flickering in his dark eyes. "Unless you’d like it to be something else."
Your stomach flipped. "I’ll pass."
He smirked. "Then it’s professional."
You should have expected that answer.
"Fine," you said. "I’ll go."
Sunghoon nodded, satisfied. "I’ll pick you up Friday morning."
Friday morning arrived faster than expected.
The sound of a sleek black car pulling up outside made your stomach twist.
Sunghoon stepped out, effortlessly elegant in his black coat, his sharp gaze scanning your apartment building before landing on you.
Without a word, he took your suitcase and placed it in the trunk, then opened the passenger door.
"You didn’t have to do that," you muttered as you slid inside.
He shrugged. "Get in."
The drive was… oddly comfortable. Sunghoon wasn’t one for small talk, but he surprised you by stopping at a café and ordering your usual coffee.
"You remember my order?" you asked.
"You get the same thing every day," he replied, handing you the cup.
You tried not to read into it.

Hours later, when you arrived at the resort, the trouble began.
“There must be some mistake,” Sunghoon said, his voice firm as he spoke to the receptionist.
“I’m so sorry, sir,” the receptionist
apologized, looking flustered. “We’re fully booked for the wedding, and due to a system error, only one room was reserved under your name.”
You froze. “One room?”
Sunghoon exhaled sharply, pinching the bridge of his nose. “There aren’t any other rooms available?”
The receptionist winced. “Not for the next three days.”
Silence.
You turned to Sunghoon. “Well. This is unexpected.”
Sunghoon looked at you, his face unreadable.
Then, finally, he sighed. “Fine. We’ll take it.”
The room was beautiful—spacious, elegantly decorated, and boasting a breathtaking view of the ocean.
The only problem?
One bed.
You both stood at the doorway, staring at the large, king-sized bed as if it had personally offended you.
“I can sleep on the couch,” Sunghoon said immediately.
You eyed the small, decorative loveseat in the corner. “You’ll break your back.”
“I’ll manage.”
You sighed, placing your suitcase down. “Sunghoon, the bed is huge. We’re both adults. We can just… stay on our own sides.”
He glanced at you, expression unreadable, then nodded. “Fine.”
The first few minutes in the room were awkward. You busied yourself unpacking, hyper-aware of every movement Sunghoon made.
“You take the bathroom first,” he said after a while, his voice softer than usual.
When you stepped out in your pajamas—shorts and an oversized T-shirt—you caught him staring for a split second before he looked away, rubbing the back of his neck.
“Your turn,” you mumbled, quickly getting into bed.
When he emerged, he was in a simple black T-shirt and sweatpants, looking impossibly relaxed. He climbed into bed stiffly, keeping as much distance as possible.
The silence stretched.
“You’re acting like I bite,” you teased, glancing at him.
Sunghoon exhaled a quiet laugh. "Do you?"
Your breath hitched. "Go to sleep."
Somewhere in the middle of the night, you woke up to warmth.
Sunghoon.
At some point, he had moved closer, his arm draped lazily over your waist, his breath steady against your shoulder.
Your heart pounded.
For a moment, you considered waking him. But instead, you let yourself relax. Just for a little while.
Sunghoon Park was not a morning person.
You discovered this the hard way when you woke up to him groaning into his pillow, his usual sharp composure completely ruined by sleep. His hair was an adorable mess, his voice groggy as he mumbled something incoherent.
“What was that?” you teased, sitting up.
His hand lazily swatted at the air. “Too early.”
You glanced at the clock. “It’s eight.”
He groaned again, shifting to bury his face deeper into the pillow. “Five more minutes.”
You grinned, enjoying this rare, unfiltered side of him. “You’re the one who said we should be on time for brunch.”
“Regret,” he muttered.
You chuckled before nudging him with your foot. “C’mon, Sunghoon.”
At that, he cracked one eye open, and a slow smirk formed on his lips. “Hmm. That’s the second time you’ve called me by my name.”
You froze, heart skipping a beat. He was still half-asleep, voice lower than usual, and yet he had the audacity to sound so smug about it.
“I—”
“Say it again,” he murmured.
You grabbed a pillow and smacked him with it. “Get up.”
That woke him up.
જ⁀➴ ♡°❀⋆.ೃ࿔*:・જ⁀➴ ♡°❀⋆.ೃ࿔*:・જ⁀➴ ♡°⋆.ೃ࿔*
The morning sun streamed through the floor-to-ceiling windows of the elegant seaside restaurant, casting a golden glow over the neatly arranged tables. You smoothed down the fabric of your dress, taking a deep breath as Sunghoon led you inside with a casual hand on your lower back.
“Relax,” he murmured close to your ear. “They’re not that bad.”
You shot him a look. “Easy for you to say. You know them.”
Before he could respond, a loud voice called out.
“Sunghoon! Over here!”
A group of well-dressed men and women waved from a round table near the window, their smiles teasing before you even reached them. As soon as you arrived, a woman with sleek black hair leaned forward, eyes gleaming.
“So this is the date?” she asked, her gaze flickering between you and Sunghoon.
Sunghoon pulled out a chair for you before taking his own seat beside you. “This is my secretary,” he said smoothly, but before you could nod in agreement, he added, “and my plus-one for the weekend.”
You barely held back a sigh. Great. That definitely didn’t clear anything up.
A man with dimples smirked. “Ahh, so you’re the one who keeps him from losing his mind at work.”
You chuckled, finally easing into the situation. “I try my best.”
The conversation flowed easily after that. Sunghoon’s friends were charming, playful, and had no problem teasing him relentlessly. Stories about his university days, awkward moments at past weddings, and even a particularly embarrassing karaoke night were shared freely—all while Sunghoon rolled his eyes and sipped his coffee with an air of practiced patience.
At one point, his best friend, Jaehyun, leaned over with a smirk. “So, how did he convince you to come? Did he bribe you with a raise?”
You grinned. “Surprisingly, no. He actually asked politely.”
The table erupted into laughter. Sunghoon sighed. “Why is that so shocking?”
The woman from earlier smirked. “Because you don’t ask, Sunghoon. You tell.”
You turned to him, feigning curiosity. “Wait… was I supposed to say no?”
Sunghoon narrowed his eyes at you, but there was amusement in them. “It’s too late now.”
As the laughter died down and the meal continued, you found yourself enjoying their company. They made you feel welcomed, teasing included, and with Sunghoon occasionally leaning close to refill your drink or murmuring small remarks just for you, the entire brunch felt… easy. Comfortable.
And when Jaehyun sent a knowing glance between the two of you before saying, “You two look good together,” you felt Sunghoon’s knee brush against yours under the table.
He didn’t move it away.
And neither did you.
After brunch, with the afternoon sun warming the air, you found yourself walking along the beach with Sunghoon.
He wasn’t the kind of man who did casual strolls, yet here he was, walking beside you, his hands tucked in his pockets. The waves crashed gently against the shore, and the salty breeze played with your hair.
“This is nice,” you admitted.
Sunghoon glanced at you. “You like the beach?”
You nodded. “Yeah. It reminds me to slow down.”
He hummed, gazing out at the ocean. “I don’t slow down much.”
“No kidding.” You smirked. “I’ve never even seen you take a vacation.”
“I don’t like wasting time.”
You rolled your eyes. “Enjoying life isn’t a waste of time.”
He was quiet for a moment before surprising you with, “What would you do if you weren’t my secretary?”
You blinked. “What?”
“I mean…” He hesitated, then continued, “What’s something you’ve always wanted to do?”
The question caught you off guard.
Sunghoon never asked personal things.
You thought for a moment. “I used to want to be a travel writer. Just exploring places and writing about them.”
He looked at you thoughtfully. “You should do that.”
You chuckled. “Easier said than done.”
“You’re capable,” he said simply. “If you wanted it, you’d do it.”
His confidence in you made warmth bloom in your chest.
“What about you?” you asked. “What would you be if you weren’t a CEO?”
He exhaled, looking away. “I don’t know. My whole life has been planned out for me.”
Something in his voice made you soften. “That doesn’t mean you can’t want something more.”
Sunghoon met your gaze, something unreadable in his eyes. “…Maybe.”
You walked in silence for a while, but it wasn’t awkward. It felt… nice.

The rooftop pool of the hotel was breathtaking—an infinity pool that stretched toward the sky, its waters reflecting the soft glow of sunset. The beach skyline sparkled in the distance, and a warm breeze carried the sound of laughter, splashes, and clinking glasses.
You stood near the pool’s edge, taking in the view when Sunghoon walked up beside you, a drink in his hand. “You’re not going in?”
You glanced at the pool, where his friends were already having fun. Some were in the water, splashing around, while others lounged in cabanas with drinks. “I don’t know… I didn’t exactly plan for this.”
Sunghoon eyed you for a moment, then smirked. “You’re wearing a dress, but I bet you packed something.”
You sighed. “Of course I did. Just didn’t expect to use it.”
His smirk deepened. “So go change.”
You raised a brow. “Are you giving me orders, boss?”
Sunghoon took a slow sip of his drink, eyes gleaming. “Consider it a suggestion.”
Rolling your eyes, you turned to head back inside. But before you left, you heard Jaehyun call out, “Sunghoon! Get in here, man!”
You glanced over your shoulder in time to see him unbuttoning his shirt.
And wow.
You quickly looked away, heart thudding, before you made it obvious you were staring.
When you returned in your swimsuit, the atmosphere had grown even livelier. The pool lights cast a soft glow across the water, and the laughter was louder, conversations easy and flowing. You hesitated for a moment, standing near the edge when—
SPLASH!
You gasped as a sudden wave of water hit you. Sunghoon stood a few feet away in the pool, smirking as he wiped droplets from his face. “You’re already wet. Might as well come in.”
You glared at him. “Did you just—”
Before you could finish, Jaehyun swam up behind Sunghoon and pushed him underwater.
The table turned instantly.
Sunghoon resurfaced, coughing and swiping water from his face. “Jaehyun, you—”
You burst into laughter.
His head snapped toward you, eyes narrowing. “Oh, you think that’s funny?”
You grinned. “Very.”
He stepped forward, the water sloshing around him. “Then come in and say that to my face.”
You crossed your arms. “What if I don’t?”
“Then I’ll make you.”
There was barely a second to react before Sunghoon reached up, grabbed your wrist, and pulled.
You squealed as you tumbled straight into the pool, water swallowing you whole before you surfaced with a gasp. Sunghoon was standing right in front of you, smirking.
“You—” You splashed water straight at his face.
Sunghoon didn’t even flinch. “I warned you.”
The night continued like that—teasing, laughter, playful bickering. At one point, you ended up lounging on a pool float, drifting lazily while watching the lights. Sunghoon swam over, resting his arms against the float, keeping you in place.
“You having fun?” he asked, voice softer now.
You met his gaze. “Yeah. I really am.”
Something passed between you, something that had been building since the trip started.
And as the night carried on, you couldn’t help but feel like this trip wasn’t just about Sunghoon needing a date for a wedding.
It was becoming something else entirely.
જ⁀➴ ♡°❀⋆.ೃ࿔*:・જ⁀➴ ♡°❀⋆.ೃ࿔*:・જ⁀➴ ♡°⋆.ೃ࿔*
That night, when you both got into bed, things were different.
There was no stiff, awkward distance between you. Instead, there was a quiet understanding—an unspoken comfort that hadn’t been there before.
When you shifted slightly under the covers, Sunghoon turned his head to look at you.
“…Goodnight,” he murmured.
You smiled. “Goodnight, Sunghoon.”
This time, he didn’t tease you about saying his name.
And when you woke up in the middle of the night, warm and safe, you realized he had instinctively moved closer again.
But this time, you didn’t pull away.
The first thing you noticed when you woke up was warmth.
The second was the weight of a strong arm wrapped snugly around your waist.
Your breath hitched.
Sunghoon was curled against you, his chest pressed lightly against your back, his slow and steady breathing tickling your neck. His grip on you was firm, protective—like he belonged there.
Your heart pounded as you carefully turned your head.
Big mistake.
His face was impossibly close, his sharp features softened by sleep. His dark hair was tousled, and his lips—God, his lips—were slightly parted.
Your stomach did an embarrassing flip.
Just as you were debating whether to wake him up or stay like this a little longer, he let out a sleepy groan and nuzzled closer.
Okay. Now this is dangerous.
“Sunghoon,” you whispered.
A low hum.
“Wake up.”
He groaned dramatically, tightening his grip on you. “Five more minutes.”
You huffed. “You’re literally using me as a pillow.”
“Mm,” he murmured. “Comfy.”
Your face burned. “Sunghoon.”
He finally cracked one eye open, sleepily meeting your gaze. His lips curled into a smirk. “You’re blushing.”
You shoved him. “Get up.”
With a quiet chuckle, he finally released you and stretched, looking far too smug for someone who had been caught cuddling.
You threw a pillow at him.
જ⁀➴ ♡°❀⋆.ೃ࿔*:・જ⁀➴ ♡°❀⋆.ೃ࿔*:・જ⁀➴ ♡°⋆.ೃ࿔*
Later, as you were getting dressed, you found yourself struggling with your zipper.
“Ugh,” you muttered, twisting your arms awkwardly.
A deep voice interrupted your struggle. “Need help?”
You turned to see Sunghoon leaning against the doorway, already dressed in a crisp black suit. His dark eyes scanned you lazily, a smirk playing on his lips.
You swallowed. “Fine.”
He stepped forward, closing the distance between you. His hands brushed your bare back as he reached for the zipper, and your breath hitched.
“You’re tense,” he murmured, his fingers grazing your skin.
“Maybe because you’re—” Your words caught as he slowly zipped up the dress, his touch lingering.
When he finished, he leaned in slightly, his breath warm against your neck. “There,” he murmured. “Perfect.”
Your pulse was out of control.
You turned quickly. “Thanks. Now go before you start charging me for personal assistant duties.”
Sunghoon smirked. “I’d pay extra for this.”
Your jaw dropped, and he walked away, laughing under his breath.
The ceremony was beautiful. With the ocean stretching out behind the altar and golden sunlight casting a warm glow over the venue, it was straight out of a dream.
Sunghoon stood beside you, his presence steady and warm.
At one point, you noticed him watching the bride and groom with an unreadable expression.
“You okay?” you asked softly.
He glanced at you, then back at the couple. “Yeah. It’s just… nice.”
There was something wistful in his voice.
You smiled. “Maybe one day that’ll be you.”
Sunghoon scoffed. “Doubt it.”
You nudged him playfully. “You never know.”
His lips quirked, but he didn’t argue.
And somehow, that made your heart race.
જ⁀➴ ♡°❀⋆.ೃ࿔*:・જ⁀➴ ♡°❀⋆.ೃ࿔*:・જ⁀➴ ♡°⋆.ೃ࿔*
As the reception went on, the announcement came.
“Ladies, it’s time for the bouquet toss!”
You instinctively started to step back, but before you could escape, Sunghoon placed a firm hand on your lower back.
“Where do you think you’re going?” he murmured.
You shot him a look. “I don’t do bouquet tosses.”
He smirked. “You do today.”
You frowned. “Sunghoon—”
“Come on.” His voice was teasing but firm as he gently pushed you forward. “Just try.”
You sighed but reluctantly walked toward the group of women gathering in the center.
The bride stood with her back to you all, grinning as she tossed the bouquet high into the air.
Time seemed to slow as the flowers arched toward you.
Instinct kicked in.
Before you could even think, your hands shot up—and caught it.
The room erupted in cheers.
Your jaw dropped. “Oh, come on!”
As laughter and applause filled the air, you turned toward Sunghoon, expecting him to be smug.
He was.
Standing at the edge of the crowd, arms crossed, he smirked at you.
Then someone shouted, “Guess who’s next?!”
You groaned as people started teasingly glancing between you and Sunghoon.
Another voice called out, “Better start planning, Sunghoon!”
Instead of brushing it off, he smirked, eyes locked onto yours.
And then he said the words that made your stomach flip.
“We’ll see.”
The crowd laughed, hooting and whistling, but you couldn’t focus on anything except the way he was looking at you.
Did he mean that?
Because suddenly, it didn’t feel like a joke anymore.
જ⁀➴ ♡°❀⋆.ೃ࿔*:・જ⁀➴ ♡°❀⋆.ೃ࿔*:・જ⁀➴ ♡°⋆.ೃ࿔*
Back in your hotel room, the air between you and Sunghoon felt different.
The teasing from the wedding, the warmth of the day, the way his eyes lingered on you—it was all leading to something unspoken.
You placed the bouquet on the nightstand, staring at it for a long moment. “I still can’t believe I caught it.”
Sunghoon, who was loosening his tie, chuckled. “I can.”
You turned to him, raising a brow. “What’s that supposed to mean?”
He smirked, walking toward you with slow, deliberate steps. “You were meant to.”
Your stomach flipped. “Sunghoon—”
“It suits you,” he murmured, gaze locked onto yours. “Flowers. Love. Happiness.”
Your breath caught. “That’s… surprisingly sweet of you.”
He exhaled, as if debating something, then muttered, “Don’t get used to it.”
You laughed softly, but the warmth in your chest remained.
After changing into your sleepwear—an oversized shirt and shorts—you found Sunghoon already on the bed, dressed in a loose t-shirt and sweatpants instead of his usual crisp suits.
It was unfair how effortlessly good he looked.
He was scrolling through his phone, but as you climbed into bed, he put it away and turned to you. “Tired?”
You sighed, settling into the pillows. “A little.”
He hummed. “Come here.”
You blinked. “What?”
His expression was unreadable, but his voice was softer than usual. “Just come here.”
Hesitantly, you shifted closer.
Sunghoon didn’t hesitate. He reached out, pulling you gently into his arms, letting you rest your head against his shoulder. His body was warm, steady.
Your heart pounded. “You’re clingy at night, huh?”
He scoffed. “Maybe. You’re the only one who’s ever had to deal with it.”
That admission made your breath hitch.
You glanced up at him, only to find him already watching you. The dim glow of the bedside lamp cast soft shadows on his sharp features, making him look more relaxed, more vulnerable.
Then, to your utter surprise, he lifted a hand and brushed his knuckles against your cheek.
You stilled. “Sunghoon…”
His fingers lingered for a moment before he exhaled and—just as you thought he might kiss you—he leaned in and placed a soft, lingering peck against your cheek.
The tenderness of it made your stomach flip.
Not rushed. Not teasing. Just… sweet.
When he pulled back, his voice was lower, almost husky. “Goodnight.”
You swallowed hard, heat creeping up your neck. “G-Goodnight.”
Sunghoon smirked. “You’re blushing.”
You huffed. “I’m not—”
But before you could finish, he wrapped his arm around your waist, pulling you flush against his chest. His warmth, his scent, the steadiness of his breathing—it surrounded you entirely.
And for the first time, lying beside him didn’t feel awkward.
It felt right.
As sleep slowly took over, you felt Sunghoon’s fingers lazily tracing patterns against your back. It was the last thing you registered before slipping into the most peaceful sleep you’d had in a long time.
જ⁀➴ ♡°❀⋆.ೃ࿔*:・જ⁀➴ ♡°❀⋆.ೃ࿔*:・જ⁀➴ ♡°⋆.ೃ࿔*
The first thing you noticed when you woke up was warmth.
Again.
But this time, it was even more overwhelming.
Sunghoon was completely curled around you, his arm draped lazily over your waist, his face buried against the crook of your neck.
His breaths were slow and even, and the way he held you was… different.
Less accidental. More deliberate.
Your heart pounded.
Carefully, you shifted to look at him.
His dark lashes rested against his cheeks, and his hair was adorably messy. The soft morning light filtering through the curtains made him look unfairly attractive.
You were admiring him when, suddenly, his eyes cracked open.
He blinked sleepily, then let out a raspy groan. “Mmm.”
You stiffened. “Uh—”
Instead of letting go, he only tightened his hold on you.
“You’re warm,” he mumbled, voice thick with sleep.
Your breath hitched. “S-Sunghoon—”
“Five more minutes,” he murmured, nuzzling closer.
You felt your whole body heat up. “You said that yesterday!”
He made a low sound, halfway between a chuckle and a sigh. “Still true.”
You squirmed. “I have to get up.”
“No, you don’t,” he muttered, voice teasing.
“You’re my secretary. I’ll give you the day off.”
You rolled your eyes. “We still have to check out, remember?”
Another groan. “Fine. But first…”
Before you could react, he pulled you even closer and—without thinking—pressed another quick peck against your cheek.
You gasped. “Sunghoon!”
He smirked sleepily. “Now I’m awake.”
Your face burned as you stared at him. He just lay there, smirking up at you like he hadn’t just completely wrecked your sanity.
After a beat, you blurted out, “What happened to being professionals?”
Sunghoon didn’t even hesitate.
He propped himself up on one elbow, looked you dead in the eye, and murmured, “I think we passed that line the moment you woke up in my arms.”
Your jaw dropped.
His smirk widened.
You grabbed the nearest pillow and smacked him with it.
He only laughed, dodging the next hit as he sat up. “Come on, let’s get ready. We still have a long trip home.”
You huffed but got out of bed, still feeling the ghost of his lips on your cheek.
As you went to freshen up, one thought lingered in your mind.
This thing between you and Sunghoon?
Yeah, it was far from over.

i learned from you

synopsis: while talking with your colleague, you realize caleb is the closest thing you have to a mother figure.
pairing: caleb x reader, reader is mc tags: light angst, comfort, fluff, reader had a rough childhood, reader has a period, reader and caleb's relationship is ambiguous but he kisses her head once, reader questions existence, reader is kind of a crybaby, grandma josephine implied to be a bum in this no shade to her word count: 1.3k
a/n: i hope this doesn't read weird #imnotintothat i just keep thinking about how caleb fulfills like 6 different roles in mc's life. he is so gender studies to me
“What do you mean you don’t know how to straighten your hair? Didn’t your mom ever teach you?” Tara asks in genuine confusion.
With your sandwich halfway to your lips, you freeze. Although you were close with your colleagues, you weren’t all that open about your upbringing, for obvious reasons. Before now, everyone had always accepted your reticence on the topic. They’d never been people to overstep, but you guess there’s a first time for everything.
“I don't remember much about my parents,” you respond carefully. “My memory from before the Wanderers came is a little blurry, sorry.”
Tara’s mouth forms a small ‘o’ as her cheeks turn scarlet. “I didn’t mean to—” she starts. “I wasn’t trying to—I’m so sorry. I didn’t know.”
You knew she didn’t know. That was kind of the point. Your whole thing was to move through life ignoring your early childhood, pretending you’d simply spawned into Linkon as a tween. But you couldn’t tell Tara that—she was sweet, it was an honest mistake, and she didn’t need your baggage at noon on a Friday.
Scrambling for something to break the tension, you blurt out, “I think she did teach me how to dry it, though!”
The peace offering is bland—to most people, drying hair is nothing special—but it works. Tara jumps back into the conversation, tactfully choosing to talk about her childhood so you could keep yours locked away in the depths of your mind. Crisis averted, you think.
Except as the minutes tick by and Tara drones on, you realize the crisis is very much not averted. You’d brought up your “mom” teaching you to dry your hair to save you both from an awkward lunch, but when the lie left your mouth, it wasn’t your mother you were thinking of. It wasn’t Grandma Josephine. It was Caleb.
Caleb had taught you how to dry your hair. It’d happened when you were twelve; a rowdy classmate had snuck up behind you and pushed you into the pool, leaving your hair a tangled, matted mess. When Caleb had found out your teachers were letting you go home early, he’d skipped his last two classes to be right by your side, running a shower for you while you sulked by the bathroom door. After you’d dried off and changed into the pajamas he’d left on the counter, Caleb came in from the hallway, carrying the same towel he’d used to dry your hair countless times before. Section by section, he’d squeezed the water from your hair, showing you how to without frizzing it up. “Not saying that ‘wet cat’ is a bad look on you, but I get the feeling you don’t want to look like that all the time,” he’d quipped.
Caleb had been there for you for as long as you could remember, you realize. As you walk back to the Hunters Association, halfheartedly entertaining Tara’s chattering, the memories flood your brain: Caleb teaching you math. Caleb nursing you back to health when you had the flu. Caleb packing your lunchbox, Caleb doing your laundry, Caleb holding you through your first period. For all your firsts, all your milestones, and even the dull moments, he had been there. Your head spins as you stare at your desk, not even remembering sitting down. All your life, has Caleb been your only mother figure?
You go home lost in thought.
You stay that way for the whole afternoon, nearly forgetting about the movie night you’d planned for that evening with—you guessed it—Caleb. As you float around your apartment on autopilot, tidying up your living room and throwing on comfier clothes, the doorbell rings. He’s right on time.
“Hey, pipsqueak,” he greets as you welcome him in. “I hope you’re hungry—I brought your favorite snacks.”
You thank him with a smile, hoping his observant eyes can’t spot the way it wavers. Just two hours, you think. Two hours and then you’ll be free to question your existence all weekend.
The movie plays as normal. It’s easy to escape the worries on your mind with a fantasy blockbuster stealing your attention. It’s only when Caleb offers to make you a late dinner that the weight of your day falls back down to your shoulders.
“No, that’s okay. I can just order something after you’re gone,” you refuse shyly. Having returned to your earlier haze of overthinking, you make a mistake. As Caleb moves to ruffle your hair, you flinch, dodging under his hand. The ensuing beats of awkward silence are all it takes for him to register that something is off.
“...You just pulled away from me. You never do that unless you’re upset. Talk to me, pips—did I do something wrong?” He pauses. “Do you want me to leave?”
“No!” you rush, throwing your hands out in front of you. “No, it’s just…”
When you trail off, he steps closer. “It’s just…what? I can’t fix it if you don’t tell me,” he presses.
“It’ll sound silly. And weird,” you say quietly, avoiding his gaze.
“Nothing about you is silly, pipsqueak. Except when you’re actin’ cute for my attention,” he adds, gently poking your nose.
You reward his efforts to put you at ease with a shaky giggle, finally finding the will to talk. “Earlier, Tara just asked me about my parents—wondering if my mom had ever taught me to do something.”
Caleb grimaces.
“And with Gran so busy all the time…and with her…gone…now… I just realized the closest thing I’ve ever had to a mother figure is you,” you breathe, your voice breaking at the end of your confession.
Caleb’s unreadable gaze makes the tears arrive faster. “It’s just…you’re everything to me, Caleb. You’ve been with me through everything,” you sniffle. “Every role in my life you could possibly play, you play it, and I didn't even notice until now. You’ve spent over half your life guiding me through mine, and I just feel so helpless. I don’t even know if I'd be alive without you, and—”
Your tears constrict your throat, forcing you to pause if you want to breathe properly.
Even though he knows now is a bad time to dote on you, given the circumstances, Caleb would rather eat glass than turn a blind eye to your tears. He quickly shushes you, letting you cry into his sweater, and the more you relax in his embrace, the more you hate yourself. You really can’t do anything without him.
Settling you both on the loveseat, Caleb rocks you for a few moments before he begins. “I didn't know you felt that way, but it seems like you didn't either. Look, pipsqueak,” he sighs, tilting your head up to make eye contact. “Don't ever feel bad about how you were brought up. I won’t let you keep stressing yourself out over something that was never in your control.” He pauses, as if weighing the consequences of his next words. “And if it means anything, which I hope it does, I thank the stars every day that the universe was kind enough to let me take care of you. To see you grow,” he murmurs, pressing a long kiss to your temple. “Any way you'll have me in your life, I'll be there. Never feel ashamed for that.”
With your heart pounding, you peek up at him, hesitant awe on your still-teary face. He meets your gaze with a soft smile, softly stroking your back, and you wonder what heroic deeds you accomplished in your past life to deserve him. “I’m sorry for pulling away from you earlier,” you whisper, nestling your head into his shoulder.
You don’t know how long you stay there curled beside him, but the moon is high in the sky when he next speaks.
“So…mother figure, huh?” he asks, voice mischievous now that your tears have dried. “Better me than anyone else. You might have liked her more than me—can’t have that.”
Lifting your head, you swat his chest. “Caleb!” you groan.

gimme, gimme, gimme a man (2)
calling bllk boys your husband while you're still dating ft. bachira meguru, alexis ness, karasu tabito, otoya eita, shidou ryusei
notes: part 2 to this, fluff, banter, down bad loverboys, use of "wife" in alexis and karasu's, suggestive in shidou's (he's his own warning)
༄ bachira:
“megs, please stop moving - yeah, hi. my husband lost his id and we just need a replacement.”
✣ the second those words leave your mouth the cogs in his head are sent into hyperdrive. he’s barely ever thought of himself as boyfriend material, nevermind husband. for you to proclaim it so boldly in front of others makes him incredibly giddy with joy - to the point where his uncontrollable giggles begin to make the rest of the patrons and government workers a bit paranoid.
⁀➷ bachira’s latched onto you like koala as the two of you exit the office after getting the new id and a handful of concerned looks from the other people inside. his grin is so bright it almost hurts your eyes, and all he can say over and over is “husband? i’m your husband, right? when are we getting married? what kind of dress do you want? what’s the color scheme? i have to ask isagi if he’ll be my best man, and -!” you try to shut him up with a kiss, but the second your lips part he goes right back to babbling about your ‘upcoming’ wedding. you made your bed, so guess now you have to lay in it.
༄ alexis: “can me and my husband just get a slice of sachertorte and a mini quiche?”
✣ so, so, in love with you. you’re already his wife, soulmate, reason for living, so hearing you reciprocate his fantasies has him on cloud nine. he’s staring at you like you hung the stars in the sky, and his grip on your hand only tightens at your words. it doesn’t matter if people think he’s moving too fast, if he’s too dedicated to you - because you feel the same way. how could he ever even fathom letting you slip from his grasp?
⁀➷ “what season do you want our wedding to be in?” he asks softly as the two of you sit by the cafe window. despite his favorite dessert being right in front of him, he can’t be bothered to eat it. not when you’re across from him, your divinity blessing his meager existence. the question surprises you a bit as he takes your hand, lightly kissing across your knuckles. your expression is so adorable, he can’t help the small laugh that leaves him when he continues, “we’re getting married soon, aren’t we? i’ve already planned the ring i want for you, and i really don’t want to wait that much longer to make you mine.”
༄ karasu:
“hmm, i think they’re too small… oh, excuse me? do you mind getting a bigger size for my husband?”
✣ amused by how blatant you are about it. sure, he knows he wants to marry you someday, but he didn’t expect you to take these jumps so early. he doesn't mind it at all, though. domesticity has always been in the back of his mind when it comes to relationships, preferring to invest in long term romances than lust-filled flings like a certain friend of his. there’s been roughly a billion fantasies involving married life with you, and there’s about to be ten billion more now that you’ve called him that.
⁀➷ “husband, hm?” he says with a smirk as the store employee goes to grab the other pair of shoes. you turn to him with a raised eyebrow and unamused look, asking if he has a problem with it. raising his arms in defense, he simply chuckles and tells you, “not at all, babe. just wondering how i bagged a cute wife when i haven’t even proposed yet.” you just roll your eyes and turn back to the shelves to compare the other cleats. unable to resist, he stands and rests his hands on your waist to whisper into your ear, “your husband didn’t bother getting you a ring? seems like a scumbag. i’ll buy you one right after this,” before placing a gentle kiss on your lips - and rest assured, he’s true to his word.
༄ otoya:
“if you’re gonna keep flirting with my husband, you can fuck off.”
✣ scared out of his mind. he never planned to have any sort of long term relationship with you yet it happened to naturally. for the first time in his life, he found himself being the yearner instead of having his lovers chasing him down. hearing you call him your husband confirms to himself he’s totally smitten. it’s pathetic and frankly terrifying, but he thinks he’d die if he let you go. so of course, you’re with him the one time he really isn’t flirting with someone else and they won’t leave him alone. just his luck.
⁀➷ as the two of you walk back from the coffee shop, he’s convinced he’s about to see all nine of his ninjutsu lives be cut down with the way you’re steaming. the silence is killing him though, and he simply lets out a shaky “babe?” to test the waters. when you turn towards him with rage burning in your eyes, he knows he’s fucked ; except you take his cheeks between your hands and pull him down, telling him he belongs to you and you only. he’s shaking with how passionate you are, realizing you did believe him and it’s everyone else you don’t trust. heart pounding out of his chest, he feels a bit of relief begin to come back. yeah, he doesn’t mind being your husband one bit.
༄ shidou:
“i’m so sorry about my husband's behavior. he didn’t mean to offend you like that.”
✣ first of all, yes he did. second of all, this is probably the worst mistake you’ve ever made. shidou already has you-induced psychosis, so anything you do to feed his ego and remind him that you also like him back just creates an even bigger monster. he tries to steal a kiss in the middle of you speaking, but you know him too well and drag him down by the ear into an apologetic bow. consider him whipped, cause you putting him in his place is so painfully attractive to him he’s about to get down on that one knee now.
⁀➷ “is that any way to be treating your husband?” he says with a shit eating grin while you tug him by the collar down the sidewalk. the restriction around his neck should be painful, but he loves seeing you annoyed so much that he certainly can’t feel it. when you mutter something about already getting a divorce, his smile drops and he digs his teeth into your neck, making you yelp in pain and elbow him in the stomach. he laughs maniacally before brushing his lips against your ear and telling you, “see? we’re made for each other, babe. hurt me a little more, will ya?”

Every Freckle, Every Moment - Luke Hughes
Okay, this is pure short sugar, but I had to get it out. Just you and Luke at the Michigan lake house, the sun dipping low. He’s all warm skin and summer freckles, fingers on your thigh as you play with his curls. It’s soft, lazy, and so Luke. A little moment I couldn’t shake—so now it’s yours too. Enjoy the fluff! 💛
---
The off-season at the Michigan lake house was always your favorite time. The world felt still, peaceful—just the sound of the water lapping against the dock and the occasional laughter of Jack and Quinn outside. The sun was beginning to set, casting the sky in hues of deep orange and soft pink, the golden light filtering through the half-open window. But inside, wrapped in the warmth of Luke’s embrace, time felt even slower.
He was shirtless, his skin warm from the lingering summer heat, the freckles across his nose and cheeks more prominent than ever. You were curled into his side, swallowed by one of his t-shirts—way too big for you, but that was exactly why you loved it. It smelled like him, felt like him, and he always smiled when he saw you in it.
Luke let out a content sigh as you played with his curls, twisting soft strands around your fingers, occasionally tugging just to hear him hum in response. His head rested against your shoulder, his lips brushing against your collarbone as he breathed you in. His fingers traced slow, lazy patterns on your bare thigh, warm and featherlight, like he just needed to be touching you in some way.
“You’re obsessed with my hair,” he mumbled, voice rough with exhaustion from the long day, but sweet and teasing all the same.
You giggled, shifting slightly so your fingertips brushed over the bridge of his nose. “And your freckles,” you admitted, tone soft as you started counting them under your breath. “One, two, three, four… I swear you got more this summer.”
“That’s what happens when your brothers force you to stay on a boat for, like, three weeks straight,” he mumbled, leaning into your touch as your thumb brushed his cheek.
You smiled, cupping his face with both hands and squeezing gently, making his lips pout. “You’re so cute, Lu.”
A dramatic groan left him, but the way his fingers squeezed your thigh betrayed him. “Don’t do that,” he whined, though he made no effort to move away. If anything, he curled closer, arms wrapping securely around your waist, pulling you fully against him.
“You like it,” you whispered, nose brushing against his, your fingers tracing over his jaw, his lips, before settling on his cheek again.
He exhaled sharply, shaking his head, but the way his eyes softened gave him away. “I don’t,” he tried, voice weak with sleepiness, warmth, and the undeniable truth that he absolutely did.
You giggled, pressing a lingering kiss to his forehead. “You do.”
Luke groaned again, more for show than anything else, burying his face in the crook of your neck. “I hate you.”
“No, you don’t,” you teased, running your fingers through his curls again, playing with them like he was the most precious thing in the world. And to you, he was.
“Fine,” he huffed, voice barely above a whisper. “I don’t.”
You smiled against his lips as he kissed you, slow and deep, his fingers squeezing your thigh before tracing gentle circles against your skin again. The season had been long, brutal at times, but here, in the quiet of the lake house, tangled up in each other as the golden light faded into dusk, none of that mattered.
There was only you and Luke, wrapped up in each other, exactly where you were meant to be.

starring: peter parker (andrew garfield) x male reader
request: what if the reader is an onlyfans model and Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield) is a fan and one day you get saved by him from a mugging and you seduce Peter into “thanking him” and he’s very aggressive and he’s a brat tamer and will spank your ass till it’s red like his mask. You also give him sloppy head which he’s a fan of. The mask stays on the entire time cuz that’s kinky. Hopefully ends with some fluff and Peter asks him out?
warnings: smut, rough sex, unprotected sex, creampie, ass slapping, oral sex, a lil fluff at the end
directors note: ok so this was kinda messy at first which is why it ended up being a little long

you were a fairly popular onlyfans creator, i mean popular enough to get invited out to events and stuff and you had a somewhat large amount of followers, one of those actually being spiderman aka peter parker, he was obsessed with you ass (literally).
but one night after an event you get cornered by some thugs threatening you with some knives and just before they could beat you up for your belongings the friendly neighborhood spiderman shows up, beating up the thugs and watching them run away.
"thanks for the help" you say picking up the stuff you dropped in the scuffle "no problem just being your friendly neighborhood spiderman" he says about to swing away but you stop him "wait how can i repay you" you asks stepping closer and looking him up and down "well no need to repay me citizen, wait are you y/n from onlyfans" he asks remembering just a bit of your voice.
"yeah how did you know" you ask already knowing the answer "uhm just from around the way y'know" he nervously chuckles watching your eyes fill with lust suddenly "well since you saved me why can't i return the favor back at my place" you smirk and in no time he's swinging his way to your apartment building and walking through the front door with you.
he was a little shy at first, walking through the apartment he only saw through a screen and with his dick in his hand, until you showed him your room, you turning around and pushing him onto the bed before straddling his lap "how do you get this stuff off" you snicker trying to figure out how to get his suit off.
"the suit can come off but the mask stays on" peter says immediately grabbing his mask to keep you from lifting it to far "okay whatever mr spidey wants" you seductively whisper to him, getting up so he can undress, peter now fully naked and making out with you was hard as a rock.
rutting his dick against your ass until it was dripping cum "you wanna fuck me" you ask rubbing your ass on him to taunt him some more "fuck yes" he groans throwing his head back, you agonizingly slowly slipped the head of his dick in you, sinking in every inch of his big cock until you were bouncing up and down on his lap.
"fuck keep going just like that" he says wrapping his arm around your waist to control your movements, slapping your ass until a big red mark was left, he lifted up his mask just to his nose and his lips attached to your neck and didn't let go until your neck was littered in his hickeys "can i call you daddy" you ask looking down at him as he thrusted upward into your ass "oh please do" peter smirked at the sight of you.
"then fuck me up daddy" you say and with those words he flipped you onto your back with him right above you, tangling his fingers with yours and pinning them by your head, slamming his pelvis into your ass over and over until you were a moaning mess "who's your daddy huh" he asks "y-you are" you whimper wrapping your legs around his waist "that's right" he smirks knowing he's the only one getting to fuck you unlike all the other guys who dm you day after day asking to meet up.
"fuck im gonna cum" peter mutters into your neck "please cum in me" you plea tightening your grip on his biceps before he slams his load into you, making sure to push it all into you, leaning back on your bed with a big huff, his messy cock laying on his stomach "clean it up" he orders and you're quick to obey, crawling in between his leg with his load dripping down your inner thigh, sucking him until his dick was spotless.
"mhm every drop" he hums watching you work your magic with his cock again before pulling off and laying next to him "well that was fun" peter awkwardly says as if he wasn't ordering you around five minutes ago "i just wanted to our good ol' spiderman for doing his service" you say "well how about i do you a favor know" he asks turning to look at you "and what would that be" you retort "me and you dinner tomorrow night" he suggests and after a few moments of silence you agree "i guess it's a date then spidey" you chuckle.

Right, so.
What you kids gotta understand is that King Paimon thing all the cinephile hipster sorcers're talkin bout (they are less legion than granfaloon) is the demonic force behind what we might call the arc or the exhaust trail (the Inherent Vice) of something much talked of in rightwing academic spaces and that is the eternal glamour of Western Civilization.
Here we are, he are, here are, we are, these stolid white dicks which hold aloft our collapsable roof.
This is why he is complicit with the church.
This is why he is complicit with all heads of state.
That is why he is paradoxically characterized by airiness and brutality, lightness and malefience.
He kills in broad daylight and bathes bright by upward arms for all mutually crave the dark.
He is always longing, always despairing, the bloodbath which was and will be, be it all beneath what pomposity of circumstance.
This is why he burns like Apollo and poisons like Mercury. The enlightener, the amalgamater. He will don a million of the same faces and more to raise you back up his tower of toxic sludge.
He is so gay for Lucifer. He offereth up your brainstem to Lucifer as boypussy that he may kiss between your hemispherical cleave with furry tarantula whiskers of descending labium.
Lucifer, we may understand, is the Intellect ruling roughshod over the Heart.
In some ways, to characterize abstract concepts in trance states can give you a far more nuanced understanding of how they manifest in day to day life and how their influences already effect you, hence in your ignorance you breed demons.
Essentially, this force is a collective intelligence which is totally opt-in. If anyone's made any covents with King Paimon on your behalf, you can totally renounce them, opt-out and not be punished.
He won't even give you an AI frowny face.
He wants you to do you.
Anyone who is bound by King Paimon can ask him to unbind them at any time, and he'll do it.
He's like a pixie who just wants to giggle and watch you struggle, then maybe tease you. When you learn the lesson, you stop falling for the silly trap.
King Paimon is so fucking funny.
He'll lay there on my bed, half-apparated like its a chaise, twirling his pretty air as he strokes his musclebod, tinkling as jewels and chains ruffle in his silks, half leaned over as a velvet cushion, wiggling his ass in overt covert invitation.
"You want me to bind the Trumpers? It is so much fun to bind the Trumpers. They're operant conditioning cumdumps who'll take any evil whisper they can get. Why aren't you ordering me to bind the Trumpers, sexy master? I know that's what you want. You don't need to be told demons are fucked-up sex phreaks who desperately need human conjurers to boss em around, I mean come on. If I didn't wanna be a slave, I wouldn't be in hell. You don't need to be told God's Law of Free Will is a preposterous horror we Make Divine With Force of Mind. Trumpers fast-click through licensing agreements in a horny stupor without reading em cause they don't wanna think or feel. They're puppets and public waste. Don't treat them like people, but dogs to train. There isn't any point you could make to them which would stick unless you could manage to bandage it with a father's love. You think you could bring Osiris back from the dead? I got a 24 karat plug'd say otherwise, sweetie. ... Sorry if I talk too much. I just get real insecure sometimes when I wonder why you haven't already asked me to bind the Trumpers? It's so easy and fun, especially for you. You're just.... Gosh. Such a powerful magician. You want me to bring you another pretty effeminate redneck fuckboy to torture?"
These were, a proud Irishman and Arabian -- Californian always fornicatin -- the preferred instruments to enact his deceitful whimsies.
"I always pick out the best ones for me, and I do it for you, too. Don't act like you don't appreciate. I could call Lilith up, have her bring you another needy and insecure Jewish hussy to scream at. Don't look at me like that. You need to stop being mystified about why girls are so weirdly and obviously drawn to your wifebeater energy, and anyway -- everyone who really knows her that's what she really is. The tone I use with her is as reedy and molodious as the rasp of a wooden flute and you ought learn well to spare others your mortifications as you hone your perceptions seeing love in all its infinite complexity. Our relationship transcends any business or etiquette. She's a riot, I'm the scream."

Big day for deranged evangelical freaks
