A Diviner's Guide to James Potter
Chapter Fifteen: Repairo
James Potter x Fem!Gryffindor!Reader
Chapter Fourteen ☆ Series Masterlist
Description: Two diverging paths are presented to you: avoidance or intuition. Which one will you choose?
Word Count: 7k
Notes: as per usual, I know nothing about the divination that I use in this chapter, but I tried my best to make it accurate and also work with the story. I apologize if anything is super inaccurate!
You stayed in the Astronomy Tower later than usual, the early hours of the morning creeping up on you without you noticing. You were the last one left, ruminating over the meaning of the stars. When you finally became too tired to reasonably continue, you begrudgingly gathered your things and left. You appreciated the silence of your walk back, the castle appearing grander under the shadows of your lonely journey.
The common room was empty when you arrived, and while you ached for sleep, your mind was still restless. You watched the stars outside the windows from your spot on the sofa, twinkling in the black sky like little candles lighting an otherwise unseeable path. What it led to, you did not know. You turned away, balling up your pass and tossing it into the fire.
As usual, you were in out of your depth. The mistake of looking at James’s chart had been made, and there was no going back. Now, the insatiable desire to know more would always be there, urging you on and on until you had all the answers, the perfect reading. You needed help, though you had no one to go to.
As you stared into the dancing flames, the heaviness in your shoulders growing, the portrait hole opened. Your head shot over to see who it was at this time, praying it wasn’t James on one of his late night excursions. You weren’t sure if you were thankful or displeased to see Remus step through, his Prefect badge pinned to his muggle shirt. He seemed tired himself, though that was not unusual. He was always in a perpetual state of insomnia and aching joints, only making your problems seem childish by comparison.
“Hey,” he said as he neared you, “what’re you doing up?”
“Just not tired, I guess.” It was a bold lie, given that you were forcing your eyes to stay open, suppressing a yawn as you spoke.
Remus stood there for a moment, seeming to debate his options. He gave you a tight lipped smile, motioning to the spot beside you. “Mind if I sit?”
You shook your head, watching as he sat down on the other end. Neither of you spoke for a minute, each listening to the music of the crackling wood.
“I don’t know how you Prefects do it, having to stay up late all the time,” you said finally, keeping your voice to a whisper.
“I’d probably be up anyway. Besides, you astronomer’s do it just fine,” he answered, pausing as he turned to you with a mischievous look in his eyes. “So, I hear you’re in the dueling club now?”
You groaned, slumping down into the couch, your legs stretching out in front of you. “Maybe not for long. I’m the oldest one there, I feel like a freak.”
“More than usual?”
You only rolled your eyes, sitting up straight again. A log on the fire popped, sending sparks flying into the hearth.
“I know we’re not that close,” Remus began, “but I feel like I have to mention it.”
You sighed, knowing very well what he was referring to. “I figured it was coming eventually.”
“James won’t tell us anything. All I know is that whatever you guys talked about, it’s put him in a mood,” he said, smiling a fraction. “I think Sirius might kill him soon.”
“Glad to know we’re feeling the same,” you mumbled.
“It’s become rather annoying.”
You snorted. “He has a talent for that.”
Remus said your name, more serious this time. You looked away, wary of whatever he was about to say. It was unusual for him to butt in, a bad sign that whatever you had gotten yourself into was far more significant than just you and James. This was bleeding out into everyone else, slowly unspooling your tightly wound secret.
“I hope you don’t get upset with me for asking, but do you and James have something going on?” he asked hesitantly.
You let out a long, exacerbated breath, rubbing your hands over your eyes. “No. Why does everyone seem to think that? What could possibly give you that impression?”
Remus shrugged, smirking a bit at your discouraging expression. “Don’t get me wrong, I’d be a surprise. You know that James is shite at keeping secrets from us. But if it were true, I’d believe it.”
“That did nothing to answer my question,” you said, your voice flat.
“Well, he got pretty pissy when you said you weren’t shagging.”
“That's just how he is,” you grumbled.
“No, it’s not,” Remus said with a shake of his head, still amused by your annoyance. You raised your brows, unconvinced. “Sometimes he is,” he amended, “but most of the time it’s a joke. He’s not really upset when we call him a git or say his glasses make him look like Minnie.”
You snorted at the memory of the joke which once dominated all conversation. Peter had come up with it during the first quidditch match last year, though Sirius couldn’t let it go until it fully ran its course, thus becoming entirely unfunny by January.
“That one was true,” you chuckled. “That’s what he gets for trying out a different pair. Can’t reinvent the wheel.”
“Was that a pun?”
You huffed, rolling your eyes.
“Y’know,” Remus began again, “sometimes the way you look at each other is bloody disgusting, like we shouldn’t even be in the same room with you two.”
You didn’t respond, your chest growing heavy at the similarity between his and Marlene’s words. It was two for two, doubling the believability, though not enough to convince you just yet.
Remus laughed a bit, continuing despite your silence, “Any minute I expect you guys to start snogging.”
“Well, that’s never gonna happen,” you said, another pang running through your heart.
Remus sighed, standing up from his spot on the sofa and glancing down at you. His eyes were soft as you met them, his smile weak but nonetheless one of a good friend. “I won’t say it, ‘cause I have a feeling that's why you’ve been shooting daggers at Padfoot for over a week,” he paused, considering the shift in your expression, “but, I know…or at least I think I do.”
Again, you didn’t say anything. You didn’t even know if you had anything to say, your breath quivering a bit as your eyes shot back towards the hearth. Remus allowed you to stay mute, moving around the side of the sofa to head to the dormitories. Before he left, he came behind you, giving you a small pat on the shoulder, just like he would’ve done for one of the guys.
“Give it a shot,” he said, continuing towards the staircase, “you might be surprised.”

“Listen to this, ‘Merchum denies that Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry could be a target for any attack, violent or otherwise, despite rumors to the contrary. While agents of He Who Shall Not Be Named largely remain unknown, various high ranking Ministry officials have been ousted as part of their ranks. Other lower level Ministry employees have also been linked to a network of informants aiding in the recent attacks. When asked if it was plausible that Hogwarts has also been breached, or could be in the future, Minster Merchum stated, “...my faith in Headmaster Dumbledore is unmatched, as if my belief that our increased security efforts shall thwart—”’ bla, bla, bla,” Dorcas said, abruptly ending her reading with a groan. “Well, we know that’s a load of rubbish.”
In an act of solidarity, your friends were lounging about your dormitory Wednesday morning during your free period. Wednesdays were always slow days, even for Lily, who’s schedule was the most packed out of anyone you knew.
Lily put down her book, taking the Daily prophet from Dorcas across from her and scanning over the article. Her bottom lip pulled between her teeth, her head not lifting even when Marlene began to speak.
“I’m starting to agree with Sirius about Merchum, which is not a pleasant thought.”
Dorcas snorted a bit, shaking her head with a small, joyless smile.
“How many years is it going to go on? It feels like twenty by now,” you said, groggy from what felt like the longest three days of your life. Your DADA homework couldn’t have been helping.
“It just about has been,” said Marlene, her head falling in her hand. She looked to Lily, who finally glanced up.
“Another child was attacked,” Lily said, dropping the paper onto her lap. “It’s been a while since that’s happened. I’m starting to think Sirius may be right, as well.”
You rubbed your eyes as you tried will away the thought of someone like Remus, only five years old, asleep in bed while someone stalked just outside their window.
“I wonder what they’re doing with them,” you said softly. “The Slytherins and Zephyr, I mean.”
“Hopefully they’ve thrown them all in the tower cell,” said Dorcas with a sneer.
“They wouldn’t do that,” Lily said, beginning to fold up the paper, concealing the dreary article from view. “But I have no doubt Dumbledore is taking care of it. He’s been able to keep it all out of Hogwarts this long. It’s out there where they’re having trouble.”
Out there. You sat silently, letting the awful phrase ring out in your skull. There were so many reasons to hate it out there, to loathe its very existence. You thought you ought to write to your parents more often, even though you had no idea what you would even say. Maybe you’d just let them know you pitied them and their occupation of out there, the place where things occur.
“How many months till we’re out of here?” Marlene asked.
“A little over three,” Lily answered, her mind clearly elsewhere. She wasn’t looking at either of you, gnawing at her lip again.
“How exciting,” Marlene drawled.
“Yeah,” you said mindlessly, the threat of July looming over you like chimney smoke.
You shook your head as if to clear your thoughts, remembering an issue that somehow seemed far more pressing. You’d been itching to go to the Library to gather more materials on astrology, though you hadn’t had the chance yet. While your astrological talents were likely one the best out of the Gryffindor's, you were nowhere near skilled enough to get a full, in depth reading on yours and James’s charts just with a single reference book. However, if you went to the Library now, Lily would surely want to come along, forcing you to wait until all three of your dormmates left for Herbology.
When they had gone, you headed straight to the Divination section of the Library and grabbed as many relevant books as you could find. However, despite hours of work, your readings were still elementary at best. As lunch neared, you realized that all the books in the world were no match for a true diviner’s perspective. You lugged them back to their shelves with a sour huff, mulling over your options. There were only two, though neither of them seemed pleasant. You could either learn to be happy with what you had, or seek out the help of a professional.
Making up your mind quicker than expected, you plopped back down at your table, pulling out a couple new sheets of parchment. You made separate charts for you and James, devoid of your interpretations or any indication of who they were about. You slipped them back into your bag, safe until you’d need them. Professional, it was.
You and Peter walked together to Transfiguration after Divination, though it was not without its own awkwardness. It was a habit that felt odd to break, so ingrained in your routines that not doing so seemed worse than pushing through your sporadic, dull conversations. You made small talk about Quattlebaum’s new peacock-feathered cap, though Peter’s laughs were half hearted and strained. The relief you each felt when you reached the Transfiguration classroom was evident by your shared sighs and lack of goodbyes.
James hadn’t bothered you since yesterday morning, and by the look of it, it didn’t seem like he was planning on doing so anytime soon. You snuck a single glance his way, only to find his eyes glued to his parchment, scribbling down notes. Like before, the Slytherins and Zephyr were absent, though no word on their whereabouts had slipped past the tight lips of the professors. People had begun to talk, at least in Gryffindor, about their sudden disappearance, though not one of you had let the circumstances out. Everyone besides your group was completely in the dark, and you wanted to keep it that way.
“Mister Black!” McGonagall snapped in the middle of her lecture.
Everyone dropped their quills, the room growing dead quiet. You looked to Sirius, who had perked up in his seat at the sound of his name. He brushed his hair behind his ears, startled by her scolding.
McGonagall clasped her hands in front of her, still looking towards him with harsh eyes. “If you are so skilled in Transfiguration that this class has become boring enough to nap in, I suggest you come to the front and teach it yourself.”
“Sorry, Professor,” Sirius said, though his voice had a playful tilt, just the right amount to get him out of trouble without losing his reputation.
You rolled your eyes, sharing a look with Lily.
“Five points from Gryffindor,” McGonagall said, turning back to the class. “As I was saying…”
Just then, a fluttering scrap of parchment in the shape of a crane weaved through the feet of other students, moving under their desks before landing directly in front of you. You stared at it a moment before looking around, though all your classmates were either focused on McGonagall or their own papers. Even Sirius was staring at your professor, his head resting in his hand. You turned to Lily, who gave an equal expression of perplexity towards the paper. With McGonagall still speaking, her eyes roving across the class, Lily shrugged, going back to taking her notes.
Slowly, you grabbed the paper and pulled it under your desk, the sound of you opening it masked by the cacophony of scratching quills. You instantly recognized the chicken scratch, your heart hammering.
I’m sorry.
You shoved it into your bag, your shoulders tensing. You didn’t dare another glance towards him, lest you meet his dark brown eyes, enchanted with the strong will of a friend aching to be forgiven.
⋆☆⋆。⋆☆⋆。⋆☆⋆。⋆☆⋆。⋆☆⋆。⋆☆⋆。⋆☆⋆。⋆☆⋆。⋆☆⋆
You stood at the base of the ladder just before last period ended, waiting for the Divination class to leave for the day. When all was clear you climbed up, poking your head into the hatch and peering into the room, though Quattlebaum was nowhere to be found.
“Professor?” you called, climbing inside.
Suddenly, Quattlebaum came around the corner, his peacock-feathered cap bouncing with every step. “Miss L/N, is it Monday already?”
Unsure if he was joking or not, you shook your head. “I was wondering if I could ask for your help on something.”
“Oh! And what might that be?” he asked, flicking his wand towards the tables. Various cups and teapots flew through the air, their contents disappearing before they piled themselves onto the stack in the corner.
“I wanted to practice my astrology, so I decided to try interpreting the compatibility of these charts, but I’m a bit stuck,” you said, reaching into your bag for the charts.
He took the parchment from you, his smile widening. “How exquisite! I’d be delighted to aid in your extracurricular astrological studies. Please, take a seat.”
He took a seat at his desk, placing the charts in front of him to read further. You sat in the chair opposite, fiddling with the sleeves of your robes as you watched his eyes run along your drawings.
“Splendid penmanship,” Quattlebaum said with a joyful gasp. “Did you source your calculations through the Astronomy records?”
“Yes,” you answered, your nerves worsening when he paused over your chart.
He hummed, looking up. “How did you choose these particular dates?”
“Oh, um,” you stuttered, “I was working on a chart for a friend, so I was already on 1960. I figured I would just flip to two random dates for practice.”
“I see,” he muttered, smiling softly.
“I already made my own compatibility report on these two charts, but I wanted an expert's opinion to compare to my own,” you said, growing more and more certain he knew what was going on. You couldn’t recall if he knew your birthday or not, though if he did, it would be plainly evident that this was not an extracurricular endeavor but a personal project.
Quattlebaum made no further sign that he made this connection, taking your chart in his hands as he leaned back in his chair. His lips were still quirked when he picked up James’s chart, holding them side by side. He sat this way for what felt like an hour, his gaze darting between them. Soon, his mouth dropped into something meditative, a small crease forming between his brows.
You took a breath as he leaned forward, dropping the parchment onto his desk without glancing towards you.
“There is tension, much tension,” he began with another hum, “particularly in the Square Sun and Lunar node, as well as the conjunction of Sun and Lilith. Pluto and Saturn are also points of weakness…though not without hope. No! Such charts display a great deal of celestial attraction, harmony within differences. There is a circling, a twin orbit of magnetic power. They likely feel a great pull towards one another, an intense, possibly overwhelming connection which may take great adversity to sever. There is deep understanding despite their unique approaches to conflict, a longing to adopt outlooks which they do not naturally possess.”
He paused, his eyes darting to yours as he pointed towards your chart. “This individual grounds the other, offers an alternative to direct action which may prove impetuous. The other may encourage greater impulsivity, a reliance on the strong intuition which the first holds but does not employ. Such creates a degree of strain, a push and pull…though together they balance what is insufficient. However, an exact prediction of their compatibility is impossible, I’m afraid. As you well know, Miss L/N, our births are rarely our ends.”
You nodded, mulling over his words. Although he had given you a more thorough understanding, you were still desperate for more, grasping at anything you could find.
“Is there nothing more you can tell me?” you asked, hopeful he would oblige you.
He did not speak for a moment, his gaze distant. “If they were able to reach friendship, to find each other in commonality within the fog of our mysterious universe, then the stars tell us much. The Trine Sun and Mars point towards a prevailing kinship, and Venus and Mars to passion, though there is no way of knowing if such a thing did, or will occur. That passion may be in anger, their kinship unable to break through learned prejudices. These sorts of pairings have the possibility for extraordinary success or equal failure.”
Your chest felt heavy, as did everything. You wondered if it had happened in reverse: first came kinship, next prejudice. “I see.”
Quattlebaum was quiet for a few seconds, lost in thought. Finally, he made another noise of intrigue, his head cocking to the side. “However…if their initial meeting was positive, the outlook does appear far more hopeful.”
You sat up straighter, your heart leaping. “Really?”
“I believe so,” he began. “You seem rather invested in this pair, given they were chosen at random.”
“Oh, I just happened to get a similar reading,” you said, trailing off.
“A similar reading,” he repeated.
You swallowed, your hands still fidgeting.
“I can offer you no more, I’m afraid.” Quattlebaum stacked up the parchment, handing it back to you. “Though I hope I was able to be of some help to you.”
You slipped it inside your bag, standing up to leave. “Thank you, Professor—”
“Please, sit a moment longer,” he said, motioning towards the chair.
Slowly, you dropped your bag onto the floor, sitting back down. You sat stiffly, dreading whatever he was about to say.
“Your aura, I’ve noticed, has not been as bright as usual.”
“I’ve been told,” you said warily.
Quattlebaum smiled. “Yes, Sybill mentioned it to me on Monday, though of course I noticed myself. I believe she thinks it’s time for me to retire, and she may be correct,” he chuckled, the feathers on his cap bouncing again. “Is there anything you’d like to tell me? In confidence, of course.”
You looked down at your lap with a shrug. “Something happened with my classmates this weekend. I’m all right, though.”
“Yes, yes, all the professors have been informed,” he said, his voice laced with genuine sadness. “Such a dreaded ordeal, indeed. But this is not what I speak of.”
Your shoulders stayed slumped, still unable to meet his eyes. You pressed your mouth tight, unwilling to speak about your more intimate problems.
“Your aura shows you have been deeply shaken by a great change, one that is far larger than the unfortunate decisions made by your classmates. It is filled with uncertainty. Am I correct?”
You peeked up through your lashes, finding his expression softened and less animated than usual. You nodded, your mouth turning down into a frown.
Quattlebaum stood, walking around his classroom towards a tall, purple cabinet. He opened a drawer, taking out a deck of tarot cards and bringing it back over to his desk. He dropped them down onto the table, though before they hit the surface they spread out in a line, whizzing through the air creating various rings which circled around each other. You watched as this frenzy halted, once again forming a line before settling back down onto the desk.
“The forking paths, you learned it fifth year. A helpful spread when faced with difficult decisions.”
You sighed, pondering whether this was an excellent idea or an awful one. A professor learning about the fact you were in love with one of your friends was not exactly something you were aiming for. Though, even if Quattlebaum did learn everything, who’d believe him?
You reached out, pulling a card from the deck and placing it face down onto the table.
“Uncertainty presents us with two choices, decision and indecision,” said Quattlebaum, watching as you did the same to another. “The choice to act or not to act is always first. All others come after.”
With a flick of his wrist, the cards formed a pile again. He flipped over the first of your cards, an omen you had not stumbled upon but welcomed. However, this did nothing to prevent your anxiety from taking over as you saw what it was, Eight of Cups, reversed.
“Avoidance of the natural flow of life,” he began, his voice low. “Loss and lacking change, the great beasts in the way of growth. You have expected this much.”
You nodded, swallowing as you flipped over the second, the High Priestess, upright.
“Intuition, the truth that lives within us all. Some may see it clearer at first glance, though all possess this gift.” Quattlebaum moved your two cards to the top of his desk, grabbing the deck. “You have been shown your trailheads. Now, connect with your inner sight, choose the path presented by the Eight of Cups: elusion, fallowness.”
You closed your eyes, rooting your feet on the floor as you imagined it: throwing the crane into the fire, scurrying to your dormitory, hiding in the library, going back to the way things used to be when James was just some guy you saw around the common room…
Quattlebaum placed five cards onto the table below the Eight of Cups, motioning for you to flip them over. You did so, one by one.
He began to speak, explaining every card. Although you knew them well, you welcomed his assistance, your mind reeling.
“The Page of Cups, reversed. When reversed, the Page of Cups’ wonder and innocence is used against you, creating misunderstandings, hurt feelings and painful emotions. The Ten of Wands, upright. Someone burdened, struggling to uphold his responsibilities. This is beared alone, often in darkness.”
He followed this pattern for the rest of the cards, Quattlebaum explaining their meaning as you revealed them.
“The Chariot, reversed. The Chariot turns away from its celestial influence, allowing aggression to fester, giving up self-control and determination. The Three of Wands, reversed. Frustration, a lack of method and commitment. There will be unforeseen obstacles and a lack of foresight,” he paused as you flipped the final card, the air growing thick as you each gazed down at it. “The Tower, upright. The crumbling of a mighty structure, upheaval, a disastrous destruction…there is great change in life, a burning away of what was once known.”
Quattlebaum stopped, looking to you as if you had something clever to say. You did not, your thoughts filled with a blinding dread. A dark cloud seemed to hang over you, filled with the awful array of cards before you: painful emotions, burden, aggression, lack of foresight, destruction.
“You have seen the path of the Eight of Cups,” he said, picking up the deck again. “Now, choose the path of the High Priestess: the way of the Diviner.”
I wish you could see the way he looks at you…Give it a shot, you might be surprised…She’s the very best of us…
Slowly and with great purpose, Quattlebaum placed five cards in front of you, waiting as you began to flip them over as you had done before.
“The Knight of Cups, upright. A dreamer, idealistic, the mediator. There is calm, unlike the other knights, whose passion is explosive. There is drive, but not without purity. This often represents following ones heart. Three of Pentacles, upright. The apprentice who listens to others and offers their help. Collaboration, the coming together of minds.”
Your hand hovered over the next card as you flipped it over, momentarily suspended in an odd mix of shock and elation. When you realized your mistake, you quickly pulled your hand away as if the air itself had burned you.
“The Lovers, upright,” Quattlebaum began, moving on as if nothing had happened. “A pair, not the same and yet not entirely different, come together in romance…there is a purposeful choice to their union, for it is just that, a choice.”
You did not give a moment of pause before you turned over the next, unwilling to allow yourself to sit with it much longer.
As you did, Quattlebaum continued, “Ten of Swords, reversed. A survival of tragedy, rebirth through despair, a healing of deep wounds. Finally, the Four of Wands, upright. A welcoming reunion, a celebratory harmony of belonging, a time of stability.”
The air was charged with something, prickling on your skin. You did not speak, taking a long breath. You thought about what you had just seen: following your heart, collaboration, romance, rebirth, harmony.
“Miss L/N,” Quattlebaum said after a moment of silence, “you do not need my assistance in these readings. You know as well as I what they foretell.”
“Yes, Professor,” you said, your voice shaking.
Quattlebaum eyed you, almost wistfully. Something darkened in his gaze, foreboding and unexpected. “There is unmistakable turmoil beyond this castle. It is mounting, very soon to come to a head. In its face, we must all do what we think is right. It is unfortunate, but you must make your choice alone.”
You sat with his words for a moment, your palms beginning to sweat. Your breath was still shaky, though you did your best to calm it, breathing slowly through your nose. After a beat you nodded, moving to grab your bag.
“Thank you for your help, Professor,” you said, standing up to leave.
Quattlebaum didn’t answer, walking you to the hatch and offering you a somber look as you threw it open.
“You have a good heart,” he said as you began to descend the ladder. You stopped, looking up at his unusually stoic expression. “It would serve you well to trust it.”
You gave him another curt nod, hopping down the ladder as he closed the hatch above you. Soon you were alone, standing at the top of the tower staircase. You had received more than you came for, though it had yet to fully sink in. Your feet felt heavy as you walked back to the common room, Quattlebaum’s words punctuating your every step.
⋆☆⋆。⋆☆⋆。⋆☆⋆。⋆☆⋆。⋆☆⋆。⋆☆⋆。⋆☆⋆。⋆☆⋆。⋆☆⋆
Wednesday evening had been spent mostly in silence on your part. Lily had noticed, asking more than once if you were all right or what she could do to help. Every time you brushed her off, insisting it was just your usual lack of sleep. You went to bed early, feigning a deep slumber while you laid there, staring at the ceiling. Even with all the answers in the world, you still weren’t satisfied. It seemed as though things kept changing every hour, every minute, so fast you were in a constant state of trying to catch up. Now, you thought it may be worse than before. A small sliver of hope had begun to ignite inside of you, fed just enough by weeks of crumbs. When you finally closed your eyes, forcing yourself to rest, you could still see James’s handwriting, hovering within a sea of black.
On Thursday morning, his note was still in your bag. You had forgotten to take it out, carrying it with you when you went to speak with Quattlebaum, then back to your dormitory. You allowed it to stay there when you moseyed down to the kitchens for a late breakfast, having no place to be. You took a long time to finish your food, even longer to drink your tea, heading back up to your room just as second period was getting out.
Lily was there when you came back, hunkered down at her desk with a large stone in front of her. Books and parchment were scattered all around, her wand in her hand.
“Alchemy?”
“Yes,” she sighed, glancing up at you for a moment, “and I’m swamped.”
You chuckled, grabbing your own homework. “That's what you get for taking so many classes.”
She just shook her head, turning back to her stone. She pointed her wand at it, muttering something you didn’t understand.
You each worked like that until lunch when you forced her to leave to get something to eat. You weren’t hungry, giving her the opportunity to eat in the Great Hall for a change. You felt awful that she had spent nearly every meal with you in the kitchens since Sunday, save for the couple of times Marlene was able to bully her out of it.
Alone in your dorm, your eyes caught your scarf lying on your bedside table, concealing your broken wristwatch. It was still flashing between weather patterns, far too distracting to leave out in the open. Lily had promised to help you with it this weekend once she had some free time, for all your attempts to fix it thus far had been unsuccessful.
With a tightened jaw, your mind swirling with guilt over her continued kindness, you flew from your chair, throwing your scarf onto the floor as you grabbed your watch. You shoved it into your pocket as you left the room, in desperate need of some fresh air.
Eventually, you found yourself sitting on a stone bench in the courtyard by Gryffindor Tower, your watch laid on your knee. Trying a new, more advanced form of repairo used on complicated machinery, the watch seemed to mock you as it continued to flash between a snowstorm, a sunny day, and a monsoon. You had little practice with the incantation, which may have been why it had no effect whatsoever. You had absolutely no experience with these sorts of charms to begin with, much less with watchmaking. The possibility you’d be able to fix it yourself was slim, though not zero. You gave it another try, adjusting your wand movements in hopes that was your issue. Again, nothing spectacular occurred.
Suddenly, your head shot up as someone cleared their throat above you, your small jump causing your watch to tumble from your lap onto the grass. James stood with his hands stuffed in his jacket pockets, his mouth pulled into an awkward half smile as he looked down at you from a few feet away.
“Hey,” you said, still a bit stunned.
He shifted his weight, glancing down at his feet for a moment. Soon, his eyes found your watch, now flashing between a rainbow and a crescent moon. He knelt down to pick it up, turning it over in his hands as he stared intently at the broken face.
“What happened?”
“Broke it during the duel,” you answered, half of you wishing he would go, the other begging him to stay.
“Mind if I sit?” he asked softly, motioning towards the bench.
You shook your head, lacking the conviction to tell him to leave. You kicked yourself as you scooted over to make room, James sitting down beside you, still gazing on your watch.
You hadn’t been alone with him since he chased you out of Charms on Tuesday. It felt strange to be with him like this, like things were normal. You had been thinking about what Quattlebaum had said all day, despite trying your hardest not to. It had brought you out of your initial rage, leaving you mostly in mourning of what once was. It felt as though too much had been said to ever regain your former friendship, striking you blind as to how you were meant to talk to him or where you ought to look. You knew where you wanted to look, although that was certainly not an option.
“The mending charm won’t work?”
“No, not that I’ve tried,” you said, your head bent towards the grass. “Lily’s going to help me this weekend.”
“Huh.” His eyes darted over to yours, duller than you were used to, though still curious. “Where’d you get it?”
“Mallard and Rosman’s. My dad got it for my fifteenth birthday.”
Mallard and Rosman’s was the premier useless enchanted clothing seller in Diagon Alley. It’s where Sirius had gotten Remus his jumper that changed color based on the leaves. It had been earthy brown since mid-November, soon to turn a pale green.
“I remember when he sent it through the post. I could hear you from across the table,” James said with a small smile. “I can’t believe I didn’t notice you haven’t had it on, you wear it everyday.” He turned away, pointing his wand at it and trying repairo, though nothing changed. “I’m not sure why I thought that would work.”
You nodded, the warmth of him beside you like a bonfire, blazing on your cheeks. You didn’t realize how much you’ve missed him these past few days until now, even if you still held so much against him. But, then there were the cards: go back or move forward.
“Why aren’t you at lunch?” you asked, just to fill the silence.
He shrugged. “Wasn’t hungry.” He rubbed his thumb across the face of your watch, tender as if it was something precious. “I know I owe you an explanation for what happened” he began, his voice low, “but I don’t really have one.”
You glanced at him, taking in only a fraction of his face. “I don’t either.”
“You were right about my ego, but you weren’t about the rest,” he paused, looking out into the courtyard, his eyes running over the window panes. He continued to fiddle with your watch, his other hand coming to run over the straps. “I didn’t mean to make you think I’d be embarrassed over something like that.”
In all honesty, you weren’t either. You couldn’t pinpoint the exact thing he said that made you come to that conclusion, only that it seemed to make too much sense to be wrong. For four days you had tried to make peace with it, though it hadn’t been nearly enough time, the thought still eating away at you.
You tried to figure out what to say, preferably something that wasn’t a lie. “Thanks,” was all you were able to come up with, mumbling it so softly you were unsure if he could even make it out.
“I wish I told you,” he said, leaning forward to look you in the eye.
His mouth was twisted into something akin to distraught, though you pulled your gaze away from it before you could think too much about it.
“If I had a time turner, I’d go back and do it,” he began again. “Actually, if I had one I’d curse him right outside of Transfiguration.”
Your gaze ran along the rims of his glasses, down the bridge of his nose, stopping at his cupid's bow. You noticed that his hair was getting long, curling around his ears. You wished you could reach out and brush it away from his face.
“You sound like Sirius,” you said, a small smile pulling at the corners of your lips.
“He’s been making a lot of sense lately,” he said, matching your half hearted grin. His smile soon dropped, leaving him pensive and remarkably calm. “It’s selfish of me, but I really want to be your friend right now. I know you don’t need my help, but I hate not giving it. It’s the only thing I’ve ever been good at.”
“James—”
“Whatever happened before, I promise it won’t happen again,” he interrupted. “I’ll tell you every—”
“James,” you said again, sterner this time. He finally stopped talking, his eyes searching your face, wide and hopeful like they had been in the corridor outside the common room. “You’re relentless, you know.”
“And cheesy,” he said, smiling again. “I’ve got a few quotes stored up if you want to hear them.”
You looked away, your head drooping forward with a groan. “You’re going to make a great old man one day.”
“My mum says I’ll act like a child forever,” he chuckled. “Maybe it’ll even out at some point.”
You took in his expression, forgetting some of your heartbreak, even if just for a moment. “Fifty’ll be your year.”
James laughed again, though it wasn’t without a tinge of something else, things unsaid. More so than ever before, you longed to know what he was thinking.
“Hey,” he said softly, his humor gone, “are we gonna be all right?”
You heard Remus in the common room, his hand on your shoulder, “Give it a shot, you might be surprised.” Marlene, too, was urging you on, “I wish you could see the way he looks at you.” Then, there were the stars and the cards. The path was not without complication, but it was there, waiting for you to walk down it. It was the brave thing to do, you realized. It was brave to make a choice.
You bit your lip, offering him a small, encouraging smile. “Yeah, we’re all right.”
James threw an arm around your shoulder, pulling you into his chest. He held you tightly, wrapping his other arm to cradle you, still holding onto your wristwatch. Slowly, you wound your arms around his middle, allowing yourself the luxury of resting your head on his shoulder while avoiding the temptation of burying your face in the crook of his neck. He smelt like he always did: Sleekeazy’s hair potion, broom polish, and something entirely his own, earthy like moss, yet fresh like linen. It was better than a hundred fields of French lavender, sweeter than the little cakes at Puddifoot’s, warmer than a cup of butterbeer or your corner of the Library. You couldn’t believe how much you’d already forgotten, how much you were willing to give up.
Unthinking, you said exactly how you felt, murmuring into his cloak, “I love you, James.”
As soon as you said it your face began to heat, a jolt of nerves running down your arms. He squeezed you one more time before pulling away, a hand remaining on your shoulder.
“Love you, too,” he said, playfully tugging at you before taking his hand away. “That’s another thing you never have to say.”
“All this time you just assumed I did?” you teased, trying to forget the way your ears felt as if they were on fire.
“No,” he began, his smile bright again, the way you loved, “just for future knowledge.”
“Ah, I see.”
He pushed your shoulder with a laugh, glancing back down at your watch. He handed it back to you, standing up from the bench. “They’ll be able to fix it at Mallard and Rosman’s if Lily can’t figure it out. But if anyone can, it’d be her.”
You nodded, looking up at his face, more serene than you’d seen him in a while. For a split second, nearly short enough to make you question it, you saw something in his eyes. They sparkled like champagne bubbles, a hue of radiant, golden warmth. He was looking at you as if it were some sublime sight, like the mountains at dawn or the colored lights of aurora borealis. But like a shooting star, it was gone just as you caught it, taking your breath away.
“I have Potions,” he began, “but I’ll see you later, all right?”
“All right,” you said, your words caught in your throat. You watched him walk back towards the archway, dazed as if you were in a dream.
“I mean it!” he called, flashing you a smile as he disappeared into the castle.

Sorry for talking about four year old discourse but
Now that I’m on the topic of the old as fuck tommyinnit lesbian discourse and I went back and rewatched the clips and almost all of them are literally just like.
Yes they’re jokes but they’re all jokes about questioning one’s gender and sexuality and finding solidarity and community among queer people, and while, yes, they are most likely just jokes there are also moments in them that feel genuine, in the first one where his chat calls him a lesbian and he pauses for a second before deciding not to follow that train of thought on stream he seems to be seriously considering it for a moment before saying “no, let’s not think about that on stream, another quote he was cancelled for was (verbatim) “I don’t know if I’m a lesbian, I know it comes with time and you have to figure it all out but I don’t know if I could be, if I qualify, I sure hope I do”, and in the “I get lesbians” clip he immediately follows it up with “I love ‘em and I understand them”
Honestly from my perspective as a lesbian the latter two are really sweet sentiments to me and felt relatable
I want to make it clear I will never be a truther for any content creator I’m just saying this to make a point but if he had actually been questioning his identity like he jokingly implied through these clips what a fucking way to ensure someone never so much as thinks about coming out of the closet again, in that moment where he got that message in his chat calling him a lesbian something seemed to click for him, even if it was a joke or he played it off as one he was suddenly confronted with the possibility that he could just be a lesbian only to immediately be confronted later that day with thousands of people telling him he’s a terrible person for being a man and so much as thinking he could maybe be a lesbian. What if it had turned out that these weren’t jokes? What if in those moments he had actually genuinely questioned his identity, even if it was just for a moment?
We’ll probably never know but regardless the response to these moments are almost exactly the same as why I hid parts of my identity in queer spaces, for the longest time I hid my pronouns and gender identity on twitter and tiktok especially because you’re “not allowed” to be a lesbian and identify with boyhood or he/him pronouns, or further back I hid my lesbianism all together because lesbians and asexuals are opposites
There’s also something to say about how people in theory believe that you shouldn’t assume someone’s gender/sexuality, yet the possibility of a person online who isn’t open about their sexuality potentially being queer is a fundamental impossibility for them
Idk, I’m probably thinking far too much into this but the tl;dr is I don’t think we should be harassing boys en masse for wondering if they could maybe be dykes

BANG CHAN. It was finals week, aka your personal hell. You were always super nervous about tests and if you didn’t score over an 80% that may as well be a failure to you. You sighed as you opened yet another textbook to read, your dickhead professor thought it would be a good idea to pile more homework on top of the fact knowing you all needed to study. Your major was biochemical engineering so you shouldn’t have been too shocked by all this intense workload. As you were sitting on the bed you heard a noise come from the door, looking to the left of you to see Chan coming inside. You don’t really put much thought into it though since you see him literally everyday and you were just really focused on studying right now. That’s when Chan starts to come up behind you, rubbing your shoulders and planting a kiss to your cheek.
“Hiii y/n, I’m back!” He says cheerfully, “I couldn’t wait to see you baby,” he proceeds to try and pry the textbook out of your hands so you can give him your full, undivided attention but you pull it back.
“Sorry babe but I really, really need to study right now.” You tell him with an exhausted look on your face. You’ve been studying for only 2 and a half hours but it feels like the entire day.
Chan looks at you and puts his arm around you, “You look so tired sweetie, why don’t you let me give you a massage?” He asks, already starting by wrapping his hands back on your shoulders.
You loved this man dearly, he just came back home from an 8 hour shift at work but is still offering to give you massages and help you out when you’re stressed. You want to tell him no and that you seriously need to focus back on studying but the intrusive thoughts were slowly winning. Ultimately you gave in to Chan’s desires and he gave you a gentle massage. The massage started off pure at first with no intention of going any further but then his hands slipped a little too far and came in contact with your nipple. He noticed you weren’t wearing a bra underneath so he slips his hand through the opening of your t-shirt, light moans were now leaving your mouth from his touch.
“I’ve been thinking about fucking you all day babe,” Chan softly whispers while pinching your nipples, bringing his other hand down to your thigh and gently caressing it. Chan has always been good at being a distraction for you and his cock is definitely what you need instead of reading about the Principles and Techniques of Molecular Physics.
LEE KNOW. Saturday nights were the best, you had no work and got to do whatever you wanted for the whole day. You weren’t much of an outgoing kind of person so you chose to stay in and have your boyfriend Minho come over and be lazy with you. You were wrapped up in your cozy sherpa blanket watching your favorite kdrama season finale, you and Minho both loved kdramas but you got way too into them. Your eyes have been glued to the show since Minho got there and you only spoke about three sentences to him. He’s sitting on the couch next to you and he’s not as remotely interested in the show as you are, he keeps looking around the room and sneaking glances at you from time to time.
He can’t stop noticing how cute you look today, you were wearing very light makeup and had messy hair. He thought you looked so adorable in your current state, just in awe of your natural beauty. He wraps his arm tightly around you and tries to give you a kiss, but you quickly pull away from him so you can focus back on the TV, not trying to miss anything. Minho gets visibly upset by this, he wants to give you his affection yet you’re currently denying it. He tries one more time to kiss you but you continue to keep pulling away to watch the show. That’s when he decides he’s had enough and grabs the remote to turn off the TV, causing you to get frustrated with him.
“What the hell Minho?!” You say in confusion, you were getting so close to knowing who the girl’s father finally was.
He doesn’t say anything, instead he just starts roughly kissing you, pushing you down on the couch and hovering over your body. He pulls away leaving you breathless, then proceeds to nibble on your earlobe, dragging his tongue further down to lightly suck on your neck, touching a certain spot that makes you inhale sharply. He brings one of his hands to your stomach, rubbing it gently. Beginning to toy with the hem of your sweatpants and wants nothing more than for them to be off.
He was almost going to give in to that idea but a new one came to mind, an even more sinister thought. He grins as he continues rubbing down your thigh, you want him to wipe that smirk off his face so badly because you have no idea what he’s up to. Wondering what he could possibly be thinking about right now. Minho brings his fingers to your clothed heat, sliding them inside the sweatpants and starts rubbing your clit through your panties. You moan for him as you close your eyes, feeling the friction. You buck your hips in the air so you can feel more of him, but Minho grips your hips and holds them firmly in place.
“No, stop. No moving ‘til I say so,” Minho says sternly, giving your clothed pussy a little slap as he looks at you. “Since you’re so willing to ignore me, I get to tell you what to do from now on.”
CHANGBIN. You’ve been cleaning the entire house preparing for your parents to come over for dinner. You wanted to make sure that everything was perfectly spotless and the amount of cleaning you did today could account for your whole lifetime. You were cleaning the stove and just as you were about to grab another clean sponge you see Changbin with a whole box full of donuts from Krispy Kreme.
“How’s it goin’ babe?” Changbin asks while setting the donuts onto the table, he sees you wearing an apron and giant yellow gloves, “looks like you’ve been doing some serious, hard labor!”
“I’ve been cleaning for 5 hours now..” You say with an exhausted look on your face, “I haven’t even finished cleaning the stove yet.”
“Who cares about the stove y/n,” Changbin says, chuckling at your frustration about needing everything to be neat and tidy.
“I’m serious Binnie, I need to clean everything and make sure it’s all perfect!” You tell him while pouting.
“Why don’t you take a break babe.” He suggests out of concern, grabbing your hands to take your gloves off and sets them aside. He slowly brings your body up against the wall behind you, kissing you passionately. He must have been wanting you all day by the way he was hungrily kissing you, the man was sucking on your face for dear life, exploring the depths of your mouth as both your tongues were intertwined. He takes off your apron and grips his hands around your waist while your leg wraps around him, he held you so securely.
As things got more heated, and all your clothes were off, he aligned himself inside you. Your hands were snaked around his neck as you desperately move your hips to feel his cock, feeling every bit of his thrusts in you. Letting out a high-pitched moan as you grab a fistful of his hair and scream his name. Your legs grew weak with each and every stroke Changbin gives you, feeling like you’re going to faint. He continues pounding into you like no tomorrow and you hold tightly onto his shoulders for support. His skin was sticky and sweaty from all the work he’s putting into fucking you, his face looked super focused as he was hitting all the right spots. He was fucking all your stress away at this point and you were feeling so good. You feel yourself coming to your peak as he thrusts into your dripping heat, you’re seeing stars at this point. The harder his strokes were getting, the faster you were to reaching your climax.
“Mmm…gonna cum!” You cry out in pleasure, slowly losing your grip on him as you slip from his grasp. Changbin swiftly picks you up and pins you harder into the wall, making sure you don’t go anywhere by fully pinning his body up against yours. You feel so connected to each other in this very moment as you’re both about to cum, both letting out a string of moans in unison. You both reach your highs together, dizzy as your orgasm washes over you, feeling his cum leaking out of your cunt and dripping down to your leg. You just spent the whole day cleaning and now you have to get cleaned up before your parents come in approximately 30 minutes.
HYUNJIN. It was a long day at work, you were about 6 hours in and you already wanted to end it all. You work at a clothing store and on this particular day for some reason everyone and their mom wanted to come shopping. You’ve been working the register nonstop and you had yet to take a break, you were so busy that you forgot to even take one. You asked one of your coworkers if they could cover for you while you go on lunch and they said yes. You were so excited to finally be able to get to sit down and eat. As you sat in the break room you checked your phone for any missed messages, you see that you have a bunch of missed texts from the new guy you’re seeing. Hyunjin’s name is plastered on your phone and you check the messages straight away, eyes growing wide at what was shown before you. Hyunjin sent you a string of messages:
‘Hey y/n, what’s up?’ [1:15 pm]
‘Imyyy’ [1:25 pm]
‘Wyd? Are you at work?’ [1:42 pm]
‘Yea you’re prob at work :P’ [2:26 pm]
‘I’m a little horny lol’ [2:41 pm]
‘I want youuuu’ [3:02 pm]
He then proceeds to send you a couple shirtless pics of him in bed and a short video of him stroking his erect cock through his boxers. You quickly look around to see if anyone would be able to notice and you don’t see anyone else in the break room besides you. That’s when you open the video fully to see the rest, quickly get turned on as your wetness is only growing. You ran to the bathroom so you can send a photo back, snapping a quick pic of your boobs under your shirt and telling him how wet that video made you at work. You love that he now comes to you for when he feels needy, you like that he craves your attention while you’re gone. He sends you another message saying how much badly he wants to fuck you and he can’t to pick you up from work. You smile at that and tell him you only have 2 more hours to go.
You realize it’s time to get back to work and now all you can think about is that damn video Hyunjin sent you. The way he was stroking his cock all nice and slow made you want to be there to give him even more pleasure. You were walking around all day with wet and sticky panties since you came a little bit from fingering yourself in the bathroom to the video. You couldn’t wait to bounce on Hyunjin’s cock all night after you get off work.
HAN. This was now the fifth dress you tried on and you still haven’t figured out a style you liked yet. You were getting frustrated but you weren’t going to let your pickiness get you down from shopping. You were at the mall with your boyfriend Han and as much as he hated shopping he liked to see you try on the pretty dresses for him so it was a win-win. You go to a different store now and you check out those dresses, making a beeline for the pink ones since that was your favorite color. You check out all the various designs and ask Han which ones he liked best, he didn’t really give much input and just picked the shortest one for you.
You gave him a playful side eye and put the dresses you didn’t like back, heading over to the dressing room so you can try everything on. As you were trying on the dresses, Han was sitting on a bench outside the door, texting all his homies. He soon started to notice how long it’s taking you in there and although you were busy trying on dresses he was getting tired of sitting here and waiting for what seemed like an eternity. He sighs as he figures out what to do, but he ends up deciding to knock on your dressing room door. You don’t reply but he can hear stuff rustling from the inside so he knocks again and tells you it’s just him.
“Uh… I think I need help,” you tell him reluctantly, he’s not sure what you need help with but he comes in anyway. He sees you standing in the dressing room with your hands in the air and the dress halfway up your body, he starts to laugh at how you were stuck in it.
“This isn’t a laughing matter, please help get this damn thing off of me!” You whine, and he begins to unzip the dress from the back, releasing you from its tight grip. You feel like you can finally breathe once again and slip the dress off of you, now completely naked in front of Han. You were only wearing your skimpy g-string and you had your nipples pierced which Han loved about you. He looks you up and down, licking his lips as if he was about to destroy you. The only thought in his head right now was to kiss you, so he grabs your face and crashes his lips into yours, moving some of your hair out the way. You kiss him back but harder and even more passionately, letting him fondle your boobs and play with your piercing. As he toys with your nipples he looks at you with pure lust, his eyes were all hazy and he looked nothing but in love with you. He started kissing your chin and licked the side of your neck, making you get all wet and worked up for him.
“We shouldn’t be doing this right here baby,” you tell Han as he continues roaming all over your body.
“Doesn’t that make you wanna do it even more though?” He says mischievously, sucking on your neck and giving you small hickies. You knew the chances of getting caught were very high but at this moment, you didn’t really seem to care. All you wanted right now was Han and that’s all that was on your mind. His hands slid down between your legs, spreading your pussy lips with his fingers and coating them with your essence. Your wetness was leaking down to your thighs and it took everything in you not to scream from Han’s touch. He inserts two fingers in your tight little hole and goes in and out slowly, you press your lips together trying not to make a sound, so he covers your mouth.
“Shhh… quiet babe,” He whispers into your ear.
FELIX. It’s not secret to Felix that you were a workaholic, you often immersed yourself in your work a little too much. He knows you are an independent woman that enjoys the freedom of working but at the same time he really wishes you’d give that same energy towards him sometimes. You traveled a lot for work and although you two live together, it still puts a strain on your relationship being apart for long periods of times. Felix loves to be around his lover and the fact you are always so busy with work makes him want to shower you with even more love and affection when he sees you. You were gone on another usual business trip but this time it was for a week, that was the longest you’ve gone for work and it was driving him insane. Everyday he thought of you and he would text you little things that he saw randomly throughout the day that reminded him of you. You always appreciated how much Felix adored you and your work ethic, he loved you for you.
The day you came back home from work Felix came to you with open arms, he was more than excited to see you again and all he wanted for the past week was the attention of his beautiful lover.
“I’ve missed you so so much baby,” Felix says whilst giving you the biggest hug, his body was so warm and you melted right into him. You gave him a kiss and he moves you both over to the couch, pulling away from kissing you for a second with a weird grin plastered on his face.
“What’s with that look?” You ask, wondering what he’s thinking in that head of his.
“I got you a little something, I’ll be right back,” he quickly runs to your shared room and comes back with a black box in his hand.
“What’s this?” You ask curiously, holding the box up to examine what it could be.
“Just open it, you’ll be surprised.”
You do as you’re told and open the box, you see a purple velvet bag and you open to see what’s inside. It was a vibrator, it had multiple settings and looked very high quality and expensive. You instantly blushed as you held the item in your hand, looking up at Felix so he can explain what’s going on.
“I wanted to get something to relieve your stress..” he continues “because you’re always so busy and stuff, y’know.”
You smile at the naughty gift your boyfriend gave you, giving him another kiss and thanking him.
“Want to use it on me now?” You ask, knowing that he’ll say yes to you in a heartbeat. Felix’s eyes light up like a kid in a candy store and he agrees without hesitation. He sits next to you on the couch with the toy in his hand and you’re now making out. As one thing leads to another, you end up naked lying on your back with your legs spread wide out for him. He has the toy on one of the highest settings and you’ve squirted about three times for him already.
“Come on baby, you can give me another. Just one more,” Felix says demandingly, having too much fun with this toy.
You spring your head back as you feel the toy in your soaking wet entrance, you don’t know how much more of this you can take. Your legs were violently shaking and the couch was soaked with your juices, you felt like you didn’t have anything left in you. Felix keeps fucking the toy in and out of you making you scream out for him, he palms himself through his pants as he does it.
“I never want you to be away from me again y/n,” Felix’s deep voice rasps as he pumps the toy into you deeper, “I mean it this time.”
SEUNGMIN. You were laughing hysterically as you were scrolling through TikTok, you’ve been glued to your phone for hours at this point. You showed Seungmin, who was sitting next to you on his bed yet another TikTok that he probably wouldn’t think is funny. You put the screen up to his face to show him the video and he looks but doesn’t really seem that interested. You tell him how funny you think the video is and he just shrugs his shoulders.
“You know, I’d rather have you shoved in my face rather than a phone.” Seungmin says to you.
‘Ok boomer’ you think to yourself, not wanting to actually say it incase he gets offended. You decide to just ignore his comment and go back to watching hilarious TikToks. Seungmin starts to get bored and he when he gets bored he becomes bratty. You hear him whine a little bit, looking up from your phone to see him pouting and all you want to do is give him a kiss.
“C’mere,” You command for him to come closer, he quickly does so looking like a lost puppy. He plants a chaste kiss to your lips, then begins to leave a trail of kisses down your neck. He slips a hand under your tank top and lightly squeezes your boob. You sigh as you feel him innocently brush past your nipples, then he trails some more kisses down your stomach. Once he makes his way down to your lower body, he quickly takes off your pants with ease. Teasing your clothed pussy a little bit, watching as a wet spot starts to appear from the outside, he circles your clit and starts to sniff you.
“You smell good baby,” Seungmin compliments, finally taking off your panties and tossing them somewhere on the bed. He kisses the inside of your thighs and feels the warmth of your skin on his lips. He loves every inch of you and he wants to take his time with you. Flicking his tongue on your clit and you hiss at the feeling, you want him to fuck you with his tongue. He licks a nice long stripe across your wet folds, staring up at you while doing so, your phone still in your hand the whole time. Seungmin brought his head up more to face you, “keep looking at your phone while I eat you out babe, pretend like I’m not even here.”
You comply with his instructions, continuing to watch TikToks like normal and Seungmin goes back to devouring your pussy like the good boy he is.
JEONGIN. It was a very nerve wrecking day for you, you were meeting Jeongin’s parents for the first time today. You put on your most expensive Dior perfume and prettiest heels to meet his mom since Jeongin told you she was very into fashion and can tell when girl’s wear cheap perfume. You wanted to impress this woman as much as possible since this was definitely going to be the man you wanted to marry someday. Jeongin reassures you the whole day that she was going to love you regardless,
“Even if you wore perfume from the Dollar Tree she’d still like you!” He tries to give reassurance. You don’t believe that’s true but when you get to his mom’s house you meet her and the rest of his family. His dad was super nice and everyone was very welcoming towards you. You were actually shocked by how chill and laid back everyone was, you felt bad for assuming that they would be mean to you. Jeongin’s mom was the last person you met, when you met her she came off as a little timid but then she started to warming up to you once you started having a lot of things in common.
She was really sweet and super funny, you now know why Jeongin is such a charming guy. You see Jeongin come up to you so he can pull you away from his mom for a bit but his mom brushes him off to tell him she wasn’t finished talking. He walks away with a defeated look on his face and you continue talking with his mom. When the food is ready everyone gathers at the table to eat and you sit beside Jeongin, his mom was across from you both. You were busy for most of the day talking with his family and getting to know everyone. He wanted to be with you but he couldn’t even get the chance, feeling left out in the conversation. You feel your phone vibrate from the table and you pick it up to see who it is, seeing that it’s from Jeongin but you’re confused because he’s sitting right next to you. You turn towards him to ask him why he just texted you but he puts his finger to his mouth to tell you it’s a secret. You place your phone under the table to look at the message,
‘Come meet me in the bathroom upstairs by the laundry room ;)’
You instantly blush from reading that text and try to hide your flustered expression. You look at him and nod your head to signal that you understand. Jeongin shoots his head up and tells his parents who were across the table from him that he needs to be excused to go to the bathroom. You shoot yourself in the foot thinking about what excuse you can come up with so you both don’t look sketchy.
“Sorry please excuse me I have to take this important call for my job,” you quickly say to his parents as you head over to where you’re supposed to go.
You meet Jeongin in the bathroom where he told you to and you went straight to heavily making out. He grabs your ass and spanks it lightly, “How long you think we can be in here before they start to notice?” You ask, his lips now glued to your neck.
“I dunno, I honestly don’t really give a fuck.” He says bluntly, turning you around to face the sink and the mirror, pressing his bulge against your ass. He starts grinding his dick against you slowly, kissing your neck and running his fingers down your body. He lifts up your dress and drags his cock to rub against your clothed cunt, you lowly moan his name and he smiles. He’s about to fuck you so hard against this sink all the while his parents not having a clue where you two went.

ON A RANDOM TEUSDAY NIGHT
pairing: Ollie Bearman x F1 Academy Driver! Reader
word count: 1792
this was just super cute in my head i hope you guys think so too.
Ollie Bearman stood in the bustling paddock, his helmet dangling loosely from his hand. The familiar roar of engines and the acrid smell of tires burning against asphalt filled the air, but his mind was far from the track. His gaze lingered on her—YN, who stood a few meters away, animatedly chatting with one of their mechanics. Her laughter carried over the noise, light and carefree, and Ollie felt the now-familiar tightening in his chest.
She’d always had that effect on him. From the very first time he met her on a karting track years ago, her fiery determination and quick wit had captivated him. Back then, they were just kids with big dreams and even bigger egos, battling it out for podiums. He wasn’t sure when his competitive admiration had turned into something deeper. Maybe it was the way she celebrated her victories with unrestrained joy or the way she consoled him after a bad race without a hint of condescension. Whatever it was, it had only grown stronger as they climbed through the ranks together.
And now, as he prepared to step into Formula 1 with a rookie seat for Haas and YN geared up for her debut in the Formula 1 Academy, Ollie realized he couldn’t hold it in anymore. He was in love with her.
“Bearman, you’re staring again,” a familiar voice teased. Ollie jolted out of his thoughts to see his Prema teammate, Fred, smirking at him.
“Am not,” Ollie muttered, his ears turning red.
Fred raised an eyebrow, clearly unconvinced. “Sure, mate. Just try not to make it too obvious. You’re like a puppy following her around.”
Ollie groaned, shoving Fred lightly on the shoulder. “Shut up.”
“Hey, don’t worry. She probably thinks you’re just being your usual, annoyingly nice self,” Fred added with a grin.
That was the problem, wasn’t it? YN did think he was just being nice. She’d always been oblivious to the way his heart raced whenever she smiled at him or how he fumbled his words around her. To her, Ollie was just a good friend, someone she could count on in this cutthroat world of motorsport.
“Earth to Ollie,” YN’s voice cut through his thoughts, and he realized she was suddenly right in front of him, her helmet tucked under her arm.
“Uh, hey!” he said, a little too quickly.
“You ready for the simulator session, or are you too busy zoning out?” she teased, a playful glint in her eyes.
Ollie tried to play it cool, shrugging. “I was just... mentally preparing. You know, visualization.”
“Right.” YN smirked, clearly not buying it. “Well, if your visualization involves staring off into space, I think I’m safe to beat you again.”
He laughed, falling into step beside her as they walked toward the team’s trailer. It was moments like these that Ollie cherished the most—easy banter, shared jokes, the kind of connection that came from years of friendship.
But it wasn’t enough. Not anymore.
As they settled into the simulator room, YN shot him a competitive grin. “Ready to lose?”
Ollie grinned back, masking the butterflies in his stomach. “Not a chance.”
The session flew by, with both of them trading times and trash talk. By the end, YN had edged him out by a mere tenth of a second, and she celebrated with a dramatic fist pump.
“Admit it, Bearman. I’m just better,” she said, her cheeks flushed from excitement.
“Luck,” he retorted, though his grin betrayed him.
“Sure, whatever helps you sleep at night,” she shot back, ruffling his hair as she walked past him.
It was such a simple, casual gesture, but Ollie’s heart skipped a beat. He watched her leave, his resolve hardening. He couldn’t keep pretending that he was okay with just being her friend.
“Hey, YN,” he called out, his voice stopping her in her tracks. She turned, tilting her head curiously.
“What’s up?”
Ollie hesitated for a fraction of a second, the words on the tip of his tongue. I like you. I’ve liked you for years.
But all he managed was, “Good luck with the F1 Academy test next week. You’re going to crush it.”
Her face lit up with a smile, and she walked back toward him, giving his shoulder a reassuring squeeze. “Thanks, Ollie. That means a lot.”
As she walked away again, he let out a frustrated sigh. Fred’s words echoed in his mind—a puppy following her around.
He needed to tell her. Soon. Before they both raced off into their separate futures. Before it was too late.
But for now, he could only watch her walk away, his heart pounding in time with the hum of the engines around them.
Tumblr media
Ollie Bearman had a problem—a persistent, heart-thumping, words-stuck-in-his-throat kind of problem. And her name was YN.
Over the years, he’d tried everything to tell her how he felt. Subtle hints, not-so-subtle hints, moments that felt perfect in his head but fell apart the second they happened. It wasn’t for lack of trying; Ollie just seemed to have a knack for sabotaging himself whenever the opportunity arose.
There was the time he invited her to a supposedly "quiet dinner" after a long day at the track. He’d booked a cozy Italian restaurant, the kind of place with soft lighting and tiny tables meant for whispered conversations. YN had walked in, all smiles and obliviousness, and promptly started chatting about strategy for their next race. Before Ollie could steer the conversation toward his feelings, Fred and two other teammates had “coincidentally” shown up, loudly ordering pizza and plopping themselves down at their table. Ollie had glared at them, but YN didn’t seem to mind the sudden crowd, laughing and joking like it was the best night ever.
Then there was the time he suggested they “explore the city” during an off weekend. He’d imagined them walking along quiet streets, maybe even holding hands if he was brave enough. But YN had turned it into a full-blown sightseeing tour, complete with maps and recommendations from her social media followers. By the end of the day, they’d been joined by a group of fans who recognized them, and Ollie had spent the evening taking photos instead of confessing his feelings.
Even his teammates were in on it now. Fred and the others took every opportunity to drop hints.
“YN, you know Ollie’s been talking about you all week,” Fred had said one afternoon, not-so-discreetly winking at Ollie.
“Oh, yeah?” YN replied, raising an eyebrow at Ollie.
He’d panicked, blurting out, “Just about how fast you’ve gotten recently!”
Fred had rolled his eyes so hard it was a miracle they didn’t fall out of his head.
Tumblr media
It all came to a head on a random Tuesday night. Ollie hadn’t planned anything special; he was just dropping by YN’s flat with Chinese takeout after they’d both had grueling days at the simulator. It was supposed to be a casual hangout, like so many they’d had before.
YN opened the door in sweatpants and a messy bun, her face lighting up at the sight of him. “You’re a lifesaver,” she said, grabbing the bags of food from his hands. “I’m starving.”
They sprawled out on her couch, cartons of noodles and spring rolls spread across the coffee table. The TV played softly in the background, though neither of them was paying much attention.
“So,” YN said between bites, “how’s F1 prep going? Ready to be a big shot?”
Ollie chuckled, though his heart wasn’t in it. “Yeah, it’s exciting. Nerve-wracking, but exciting.” He glanced at her, his stomach twisting. “What about you? Academy’s a big deal.”
She shrugged, brushing a stray noodle off her lap. “I’m excited, but it’s hard not to think about how different things will be. You in F1, me still working my way up. Feels like we’re finally splitting off after all these years.”
Her words hit him like a punch to the gut. That was the last thing he wanted—to drift apart, to become just another chapter in each other’s racing stories.
He set down his carton, his appetite suddenly gone. “YN…”
She looked up, her brow furrowing. “What’s up?”
This was it. No more excuses, no more interruptions.
“I… I need to tell you something,” he said, his voice steady but his hands gripping his knees. “I’ve been trying to tell you for ages, but I always chicken out or something gets in the way.”
Her expression softened, curiosity replacing confusion. “Okay. Tell me.”
Ollie took a deep breath, his heart hammering so loud he was sure she could hear it. “I like you. I’ve liked you since we were kids in karting. And it’s not just because we’ve spent so much time together or because you’re an amazing driver, though you are. It’s… it’s everything. The way you light up when you talk about something you love, the way you always make people around you feel like they belong. You’re kind, and fierce, and you make me feel like I can do anything just by being there.”
The words spilled out faster than he could think, but he didn’t stop. “And I know I’ve been awful at showing it, and you probably think I’m just your dumb, overly nice friend who brings you noodles and crashes your sightseeing trips, but I—”
“Wait,” YN interrupted, holding up a hand.
Ollie froze, his heart sinking. This is it. She’s going to tell me she doesn’t feel the same.
But instead of looking shocked or awkward, YN was… laughing. Not a mocking laugh, but a soft, incredulous one.
“Ollie,” she said, setting down her food and shifting closer to him. “You think I don’t know how much you care? I mean, sure, I thought you were just naturally sweet, but…” She trailed off, her cheeks tinged pink. “I guess I never thought you’d actually feel the same way I do.”
Ollie blinked. “Wait, what?”
YN smiled, and it was the kind of smile that made all the failed attempts and awkward moments worth it. “I like you too, you idiot.”
For a moment, neither of them said anything, the weight of the unspoken finally lifted. Then Ollie broke into a grin so wide it hurt.
“So… does this mean I finally get to take you on a proper date?”
YN laughed, nudging his shoulder. “You mean not one that turns into a group hangout or a sightseeing tours?”
“Exactly.”
“Then yeah,” she said, her voice warm. “I’d like that.”
As the night wore on, the food grew cold, and the TV played forgotten in the background. But neither of them cared. For the first time, the words they’d left unsaid were finally out in the open, and everything else could wait.

You can be a sweet dream or a beautiful nightmare II Ali Krieger x Mewis!Reader
Tumblr media
masterlist I word count: 2599
The heat of the day was gone, and it started to cool down in New Jersey. The breeze made you shiver, so did the words of Ali Krieger with whom you had a love affair for the past weeks: “Y/n, you’re 13 years younger than me and I just go through a separation from my wife.” “Ali.”, you tried to soothe her doubting face. Sadness lay in the eyes of the defender while she was looking at you: “I can’t do that.” “But you kissed me first and you said that it meant something to you.”, the hurt in your voice was undeniable.
Regret was shimmering through her words: “I shouldn’t have done that. You’re way too young for me.” “I’m not that young, Ali.”, you interjected. Eyerolling Ali countered: “You’re 26.” “Yes, which makes me an adult.”, you protested. Softly the older woman replied:” I know you’re.”
This didn’t change the fact that you were 13 years younger than her, this much you both knew.  The defender made very clear that it was time to end the thing whatever you two had going on before anyone could get too hurt. So, you decided:” I should go.”
Meanwhile Ali’s daughter Sloane was standing right behind you and interrupted your talk, with big eyes she pleaded:” Don’t go, you promised me a good night story.” “No, she’s right. She should go.”, the dark-haired woman declared. The toddler looked disappointed at her mother: ”But-“ “It’s okay, Sloane. Maybe, we’ll do that another time in the future.” , you reassuringly hugged the little girl.
Audibly Ali cleared her throat: “Goodbye, I hope I’ll see you soon.” “We play in the same team, so I guess we can’t avoid seeing each other.”, you reminded her. Nervously the older woman went through her hair with one hand: “Yes, sure.” “Bye.”, you waved at them. “Goodbye.”
Were those tears shimmering in her beautiful brown eyes? But weren’t you the one who was allowed to grieve the possibility of what you two could have become when she ended it? Confused you left the home of the woman who broke your heart.
A worried Sloane looked up to her mother:” Why do you look so sad, momma?” “I’m not. I just have a hard decision to make. But it’s bad time for you now.”, Ali tried to shrug it off. “No.”, the toddler whined. “Yes, come on.”, the defender’s lips curled up into a tired smile as she knew all too well that her daughter would be soon asleep by the time her small head hit her pillow.
“Ali! Lynn! Doesn’t my little sister look super hot in this outfit?“, Kristie Mewis yelled a week later at Gothams next NWSL game. It has become kind of a ritual that the players took pictures of their outfits before the games for social media. You stood in front of the camera, rolling your eyes at your older sister; “Kristie, stop it.“ “Just admit that I picked it out for you!“, she protested with a laugh. You objected, frowning; “I picked it out. You just lend me the clothes!“ “I picked it out!“, Kristie insisted again. You could easily forget that she was the older one. “Whoever did it, I’m sure every queer woman would be happy to unpack her.“, Lynn interrupted your discussion with a wink.
Ali who stood next to her, waiting for her turn to be photographed, said flatly; “What’s there to unpack? She’s barely wearing anything.“ You could feel your cheeks heat with anger. Before you could answer, Kristie looked at the defender; “Don’t be mean, Ali. It’s a cute fit.“ She gave you a proud smile while Ali shrugged; “It’s true, Kristie.“ Your sister deliberately ignored her negative comments and walked up to you; “Come here. Let’s take some sister photos together to send to Sammy.“ “Sammy will pout forever about the fact that she wasn’t included in this picture.“, you reminded Kristie and immediately smiled at the thought of your other sister who currently played in Kansas. Kristie grinned into the camera; “Let’s be honest, she probably would have ruined it.“ “Still, you know her.“ “Yes, I do.“, she rolled her eyes.
You had taken a quick selfie with Kristie too and texted it to Sam. Now you held up your phone in Kristies face; “Told you. She’s already pouting in her text messages. We need to send her a good snack for when she’s doing her next podcast episode to make up for it.“ “Trust me, she’ll survive.“, Kristie replied with a dismissive wave of her hand. Lynn nodded in agreement; “Yeah, she’s already busy with other things. Sammy will forget about that photo by tomorrow.“ As her podcast partner, Lynn always knew what Sam was up to. “Yeah, you two are probably right.“, you shrugged but sent your sister in Kansas a heart emoji anyway. “We are. Believe us.“, Kristie winked.
After the match Ali was standing next to your locker, arms crossed in front of her chest: “Where do you think you’re going with this outfit?” “I’m going out.”, you shrugged with your shoulders. Although her reaction fuelled your anger. She did not have a right to react jealous. Curiously she asked: “Out? With whom?” “Oh, just with Kristie and some other teammates.”, you replied nonchalantly.
Bitterly the defender answered:” Go and have fun then.” Innocently smiling Kristie intervened: “Isn’t Ashlyn looking after your kids tonight? Come on, Ali. You should join us.” “I don’t think Ali is interested in partying with us.”, you told her. Much to both of your surprise the captain of the team replied:” You know what? Why not? I got nothing else to do.” “Great, this is going to be so much fun.”, your older sister chirmed. A small smile lightened up Alis whole face: “I’m sure it will be.” “We’ll see about that.”, you whispered frustrated.
The club Kristie chose was new and trendy and settled in Manhattan. The music was good, and you and your teammates enjoyed the night out. A stranger came up to you: “Hi, can I get you a drink?” She looked pretty and you could not help but to nod along: “Sure.” “No.”, Ali interrupted the talk between the two of you. “No? I think I can decide that on my own.”, you huffed. Determined the defender shook her head: “No, you can’t.” With these words she took your hand and walked off with you.
Furiously you glanced at her: “Seriously, what the fuck Ali?” “What? It’s impolite. You’re out with us.”, she pointed out. Annoyed with her actions you scoffed: We both know that’s not why you did it.” “Maybe not. But that doesn’t matter. The others don’t have to know.”, Ali admitted.  “Don’t worry, Kristie doesn’t know with whom I spent my summer.”, you disclosed. The mentioning of your older sister made the dark-haired woman smile in amusement:” “Kristie doesn’t seem to be bothered anyway. She’s on the phone with her girlfriend.” “And where are Kelley and Lynn?”, you couldn’t help but to ask. While Ali took you on to the dance floor without asking you: “At the bar.” “Oh.”
“Come on. You should have some fun.”, she smirked. As you were starting to move to the music you wanted to know from her:” Are you enjoying your parenting free night?” “I do.”, with that said you could feel her hands placed around your hips. You tried to keep your tone light: “That’s great.” “But I do miss them.”, the older woman answered. A sigh escaped your lips:“I miss them too to be honest.” “They miss you too.” Surprised you looked at her:”Really?” “Sure. You’ve met them quite a few times.”, Ali replied while her fingers touched your naked skin which made you shiver. Secretly you hated that your body still reacted to her like this.
Apparently, she had also noticed your reaction because she quickly pulled her hand away. “Yes, that’s true.“, you replied, trying to ignore what had just happened. Ali furrowed her eyebrows, looking at you intently; “Are you okay?“ “Yes, I’m fine… I think I’ll go home now.“, you explained, turning away from her. “Already?“ “Yes. Good night, Ali.“
You took your bag and were about to leave when you suddenly felt her hand close around your wrist. “Let me bring you home. Your sister obviously isn’t going to.“, Ali decided rather than offered. You followed her gaze to Kristie, who stood off to the side with her phone pressed to her ear and giggled about something her girlfriend must have said. “We should not interrupt her when she’s talking to her girlfriend.“, you had to admit. Ali finally let go of your hand; “I’m sure the others will make sure that she gets home safe. But now let me take you home.“
Your brain was constantly screaming at you while you accepted the offer and followed Ali to her car. The car ride was unusually silent but you were half expecting the awkwardness already. When the car stopped in front of your apartment building, you realized that Ali had gotten out of the car to open the passenger door for you. You gave her a tight smile; “Thanks for bringing me home.“ “You’re welcome.“, she answered politely. While pulling the keys out of your bag, you noticed that Ali hasn’t moved.
With a sigh, you turned to her, finally asking you the question that was bothering you the whole night; “Ali… did you already find someone new?“ The defender seemed taken aback by the question; “No. I’m not looking for someone right now.“ “I see.“ “It’s all a bit much right now. I thought I’d focus on myself and my children. What about you? Are you seeing anyone?“, Ali continued. You shook your head, your lips pressed together tightly; “No. I think I’ll focus on my career right now.“ “That sounds… reasonable.“ “I know.“ You were just about to turn the keys and unlock the door when Ali spoke up again; “You know I’m sorry, right? I didn’t think when we started this. Or else I wouldn’t have put us both through this mess.“ “So you regret us?“, you asked, your voice a pitch higher than you wanted it to be. “That’s not what I said.“, Ali retorted defensively.
You heaved a long sigh; “I guess it’ll be easier when the season ends.“ “Yes. I think it will be. That gives us more space.“, the defender agreed. “Right and we’ll never have to see each other again.“ Ali rolled her eyes at your remark; “You know, you can be a bit dramatic sometimes?“ “To be fair, I learned from the best. Kristie and you.“, you laughed involuntarily. “I’m not dramatic! Your sister is!“, Ali protested with a wide grin. “Yeah, she’s a little bit more drama.“
For a second, everything felt like the break-up never happened but then Alis’ face turned serious again; “See. I’m sure you’ll be alright. You’re an amazing soccer player, smart and pretty, and you have your two sister who always got your back. You don’t need me.“
“Ali, you know that’s not true. I do need you.”, you disagreed. Her expression was unchanged as she answered: “No, you don’t.” “I still don’t care about the age gap. I thought you should know that. Good night, Ali.”, you smiled disappointed. “I do know that. Good night.”
Yet she still did not move so you asked the defender:” Ali, why are you still standing here?” “What? Oh, sorry. I was just thinking.”, Ali blushed. “Thinking about what?” “Mistakes.”, the older woman truthfully replied. Sharply you shot back: “Well, I think you made very clear that we were a mistake.” “No. But apparently think that if you keep accusing me of saying that.”, she shook her head. You could feel your cheek turn red:” Sorry.” “ I don’t think this was a mistake. What was a mistake was the fact that I didn’t think about it before starting something with you. That would have saved us the trouble.”, Ali summed it up. Slowly you nodded:”Right.”
“But now I’m wondering if it’s a mistake to let you go.”, the defender cautiously looked into your eyes. The words left your mouth before you could think more deeply about them: “Don’t let go.” This said she closed the gap between you and pressed her lips onto yours while you replied to her kiss with an equally passion, running your hands through her dark long hair. All the emotions finally making their way out as you embraced each other. Needless to say, Ali did not leave that night.
After your now girlfriends last game where was a big party being held in her honour. All her friends were there to celebrate her long soccer career. Proudly you kissed her which made Kristie gasp out loud: “Oh. My. God!”
“Why are you yelling, Kristie?”, your other sister Sam Mewis asked amused because she was well versed in the older sibling’s talent to make everything super dramatic as if you were part of a reality show. “Our little sister is making out with Ali!”, the blonde shouted into her ear. Unimpressed the taller woman looked at her:” And?” “And seriously?!”, Kristie repeated playfully shocked.
That made Sam laugh out loud: “Yes?” “Why aren’t you freaking out about this?”, the smaller midfielder wanted to know. “Should I?” “Well, they look happy, right?”, the older sister observed as she glanced at Ali and you. Giggling the middle sibling remarked: “I don’t know. They’re about to eat each other up.”
Kristie grimaced in disgust; “Ew, gross.“ “As if you and were any better with your girlfriend.“, Megan Rapinoe interrupted the sisters, giving Kristie a smirk. Sam gasped with widened eyes, happy about the mutual understanding between her and Megan; “Don’t even get me started! You can’t even have a normal conversation without them making out!“
“Let’s try it with this new couple, shall we?“, Megans wife asked, a challenging look on their face. But before she could her plan to action, Ali took her lips off of yours for a second and yelled; “We’re busy here!“ “Get a room!“, Kristie answered. You eyed your sister with scepticism; “Coming from you?“ “Don’t talk to me in this tone, young lady.“, Kristie warned, playfully raising her finger at you. You cringed; “You’re my older sister, not my mum.“
Ali got up, taking your hand in hers; “Let’s leave, love.“ “Please.“, you answered, looking at your sisters with feigned disdain. “Bye, guys.“, Ali waved while gently leading you outside. Kristie watched you with her mouth open; “You can’t just abduct my sister.“ “This is consensual.“, you clarified with a laugh. “This better be!“, Kristie yelled after you. You smiled at her and Sam, waving them goodbye; “See you tomorrow.“ “Or not.“, Kristie added. Sam snorted; “Probably not.“ “Girls!“, you called. But Ali nudged you with her shoulder, giving you a wink; “They are not wrong though.“ “Go.“, Sam rolled her eyes, gesturing for you to finally leave. Sue smiled as she watched you two; “Seems like we don’t have to worry about Ali being bored after her retirement from soccer.“ “I was never worried about that.“, Megan replied, amused.
Kristie in the meantime had taken a step away from the group and was holding her phone to her ear. “Kristie, what are you doing?“, Sam asked. “Uhm, telling mum the news?“, her sister answered, looking at her like it was the most obvious thing in the world. Sam shook her head at her; “Oh my god, Kristie. That’s exactly why I’m mums favorite.“

Alcina Headcanons
Hii! I have a bit of a writer's block at the moment so I don't know when I'll post the fic I'm currently writing, but I did this meanwhile. I think I'll post ten more tomorrow. Love you <3
Tumblr media Tumblr media
1. How do they feel about people shorter/taller than them?     I mean… I think we all have the same thoughts about this. In my opinion, she LOVES being taller than her lover. Besides, she’s so tall that no one can be taller than her anyway.
2. Their sexuality?     She’s super duper gay. Like, we all know she hates men, so she’s definitely a lesbian.
3. Preferred weather?     I don't think she really cares since she’s she doesn't get out of the castle much. But she likes reading in the library when it rains, though.
4. What’s their sleeping schedule?     Before she has a lover: since she doesn’t need to sleep, I don’t think she actually sleeps every night but when she does, she goes to bed around 10-11pm (because of all the paperwork she has to do) and wakes up very early (5-6am).     If she has one: she tries to sleep at the same time as them, so that depends on when they are tired.
5. Favorite song?     My favorite romantic song is her favorite song guys. ‘At Last’ by Etta James. She also likes Frank Sinatra in my opinion (‘The World we Knew’ precisely). She just loves quiet and old songs (although I think she secretly loves Lady Gaga).
6. How’s their cooking?     One word. Terrible. As she never had to cook because she’s had maids and servants her whole life, she probably never learned how to cook properly.
7. What’s their sleeping position?     100% the (big) spoon. She loves to have her beloved close to her when they are both asleep so they know they are safe with her.
8. Something small that they enjoy?     I don’t know if it’s small but she looooves to know what her lover likes to do or what they did in the day. She’ll just sit and listen to whatever ramblings they tell her because she’s happy that they feel like they can share their day with her.
9. How do they feel about physical contact by others?     It really depends on who. She likes to hug her daughters and beloved but if Heisenberg asked one (which would never happen lol) she would absolutely kick his ass. But like I said, she’s heavy on physical contact witch the people she loves.
10. How well do they take care of themselves?            I’m not sure about this one. Like obviously she never leaves her bedroom without makeup on, but I don’t think she really takes care of herself. The only thing she does to “take care” of her skin is to take blood baths.

mornings with wednesday
i wrote this while super drunk so please bear with me. i love y’all so much i hope you enjoy 💕
Tumblr media
dating wednesday addams was a crazy experience. she didn’t quite know how to express emotions, but she tried for you. she held the door open, kissed your knuckles, allowed you to pick on her without killing you, etc. your favorite part, however, was mornings with your lovely, goth girlfriend. it was currently 5 am and you could feel wednesday trying to get out of your grasp.
“wednesday stop-“
“no. it’s 5, i need to get up. you should too.” you can see her braided hair was slightly messy and she didn’t have any makeup on. she looked beautiful.
“can we please cuddle for another five minutes?”
“why must you always ask this? you know i say no every time so just let me get up.” she sees your face turn a little sour so she sighs and leans in to give you a kiss. she finally gets up and leaves for the bathroom to take a shower. you stare at the door for a couple seconds before starting to close your eyes again, only to hear wednesday yell, “don’t go back to sleep,” through the door. you never understood how she knew you that well. so well she could tell your every move, even when she couldn’t see you. you disregarded her words anyway, and took a nap until she got out of the bathroom.
“i thought i gave you explicit instructions.” you simple smile at her and she deadpans back at you.
“i’m tired what can i say my love?”
“you can say nothing and get out of bed.”
“whatever.” you say while finally getting out of bed. you get dressed in your uniform while wednesday changes into the same uniform but all black. just looking at her made you fall even deeper in love. she always looked so composed. even when it’s 5:45 am and her hair is down and… wait. her hair is down. it was longer than you expected, very wavy. she looked absolutely elegant, but you knew she’d braid her hair again. it’s never not braided after all. why not make the morning just a tad bit romantic.
“wednesday?” you asked while conjuring up the sweetest voice you could find.
“yes mi amor?”
“can i braid your hair… please?”
wednesday paused. she never let anyone touch her hair. it was her thing. she always needed to look composed, it didn’t matter who she was with. as long as she was composed she’d be fine. she can’t act nervous right now because it makes her lose control of her body. and when she loses control of her body she loses control of her words. “you want to- what?… umm why may i… ask?”
“because i love you and i want to make you feel beautiful. and if doing your hair will do that then i must braid your hair.” you shrug. deep down your real reason was to be close to wednesday. you loved her. her shampoo, her hair, her face. not only that but her personality, her charisma, her style. you loved the girl in front of you with everything you could. and in return she loved you. she sat in front of you as you started dividing her hair and getting to work. she was nervous (though she’d rather swim through a pool of her own blood than admit that). she loved your gentle touches and how you can make her feel like a precious doll. now wednesday hated feeling weak, but with you she didn’t feel that way. she instead felt loved. every smile you sent her way was true love. every time you reached for her hand when you were nervous was true love. every time you apologize for pulling her hair a little too hard was true love. you both were so in love with each other and neither of you were scared to admit it. “oh mi amor, you did such a good job on my hair.” the goth praises while giving you a kiss of the nose.
“of course i did! i tried my hardest. now it’s 6:15 we need to get breakfast.”
“of course after you my love.” she says while opening the door for you and giving a false bow to show how chivalrous she is.
————————————————————————
i hope you guess enjoyed !! like i said i’m very drunk rn so i’ll probably delete this tomorrow morning or something. leave me more requests i’ll get back to them asap!!

Rodeo Clown
Tumblr media
a lyric fic inspired by rodeo clown by dijon

warnings: commitment issues, slight angst, teenagers being stupid
“Well I can't lie, I couldn't wait
But it's half-past eight and you're late again”
This is the fourth time this month miles has been late for one of your “hangouts”  if you can even call them hangouts. They’re more dates than anything. At the moment the two of you are at a stand still in the no man’s land between relationship and friendship but you can’t shake the fact that something is off. Ever since he became spider-man he’s been blowing you off but some of that is slightly expected. Now more than ever though it’s been getting worse. Like you can’t even get a hold of him and he’s always talking about this strange new friend who doesn’t seem to have any name. But you know he knows we all know everyone knows it’s Gwen. The girl he started being friends with right before all of this started. Before what you thought was a life long friendship with a completely unrequited crush turned into so much more.
“Well, I got those high heels on, and lace
And I spent two or three hours beatin' my face”
Tonight’s date was supposed to be special it was supposed to be something of an anniversary since the two of you started “talking” (as he called it) six months ago. You spent about two whole hours making yourself look as good as possible. Dressing up to the nines pulling out your favorite products to style your hair and maybe a bit more makeup than usual. But once again he was no where to be found. You whip out your phone and send the fourth text this hour.
you: hey miles is everything okay?
you: ur really late now
you: if you’re not coming can you js tell me that
you: don’t even bother anymore miles i’m going home. i hope wtv it was is important.
“So why? Could you explain?
I can't lie, I'm fed up”
Sick and tired were the only words to describe how you felt walking home alone. The ghost of him lingered on the walk as if he was right beside you. But he wasn’t he was undoubtedly most likely somewhere with Gwen. She seemed to be the only topic with him recently.
“Yeah me and my new friend we had such a fun time when we went there” “Me and my friend swung through here once it was like the highlight of my day.” “My new friend is a little quicker than you so I gotta adjust my pace when we walk together”. Though she was nameless for the past few months he used to address her by name. You never put the face to the name never even met her ,but you knew it was always her.
“I don't like being stood up
And hey, hey
What are you ashamed of?”
The only thought that could cross your mind was. “Why?” What was so wrong with you that you couldn’t be placed on the same pedestal as Gwen. It’s always Gwen this Gwen that but never you. Your name never graces the same smile that hers does. His eyes light up and his voice shifts a pitch when he talks about her. Like that’s his entire world. What is he so ashamed of when he’s with you. He hides you from the world and his parents haven’t even met you. Maybe they met Gwen though. One thing was for sure you couldn’t stand being stood up like this again.
“So what are you so afraid of?
'Cause you're missin' out
On good, good lovin'”
“You know what if he doesn’t wanna answer me i’ll just call him” You mutter under your breath sighing out of pure frustration.
After five rings and no answer you hear his voice “Hey it’s Miles” “Finally you’re gonna answer-“ “I’m not at the phone right now probably super busy with a bunch of cool stuff but you can leave a message. Peace” And a long aggravating beep. “If you never wanted something serious that’s all you had to say. You never had to lead me on or leave me stranded at that stupid fancy restaurant lookin all stupid Miles. Go be with that stupid Gwen girl or whatever her name is cause it’s obvious that everything we have ain’t as serious as whatever you have goin with her” Your voice cracks out of pure rage and a little (lot) of sadness. The heavy feeling in your chest returns. “All I wanted to do was love you man” You say to no one in particular just trying to put the thought into the air. Hoping and praying it would relieve some of the tension.
“You ride those rank bulls and get first place
Eight seconds is all it takes
You got those silver spurs on
And chaps 'round your waist
Calloused hands, and dirt on your face”
You knew all it took to be spider-man. The constant late nights and beatings. Miles would come crawling through the fire escape attached to your window. Bruises and blood seeping through the suit. Patch ups and crying sessions. Either you on his shoulder begging him to be safe. Or him on yours pushing all his problems into the safe atmosphere of your arms. You knew the tolls both mental and physical that it took on him. Never knowing if the scars you see will be the worst of it all. Trying to hold onto the memories the two of you made while he was out protecting the city and putting his life on the line.
“And hey, hey
I still wear the t-shirt that you gave me”
You finally made your way home unlocking the door and sighing before trudging to your bathroom and washing off all the makeup you took so long on stripping yourself of your cutest outfit. Putting on the shirt Miles left on the floor of your room one night. The one you thought framed him the best but he said it “look way better on you”. Pushed it on you to keep it and he could just wear his hoodie home. Reluctantly you agreed wishing you had something of his to keep you company when he was gone.
“So what are you so ashamed of?
Rodeo could kill ya”
He never really tried to bring up his spider-man duties to you. He thought it would bore you and you didn’t wanna hear some of the gory details of his day to day. You wished you could hear it all though. Just know he’s safe, know nothing out there is trying their hardest to kill him. The job is deadly and you both were fully aware of the topic yet he tried to dance around it. Never fully bringing up the whole word to you to keep you out of danger and him out of a strong headache. You were his safe space and he didn’t wanna invade that with spider-man. He didn’t want what the two of you had to be infected just like every other part of his life.
“I just wanna kiss ya
But you won't let me near ya
But I'm here all the same”
Lately though it’s like he’s been putting up these walls. Slowly but surely placing the bricks day by day it’s like you get less and less out of him. One week it’s long heartfelt conversations all night the next it’s short one word responses to all of your texts. You just wanted to be there for him more than anything but he won’t let you close enough to do that. All you wanted to do was hold him in your arms and kiss his forehead telling him everything would work out and this is just temporary. You’d be there in all the other ways he would let you though even the smallest ones.
“At the rodeo, I
Put my face on and smile
And you ride good”
Miles runs his hands through his hair trying not to rip it out of the roots. “Shit shit SHIT” He paces around his room trying to keep himself controlled. He was out on patrol once again forgetting about another date. He made his way home about five minutes ago with a proud smile on his face. He just defeated one of the sickest villains in Brooklyn and got him straight to jail. His smile dropped when he took out his phone and saw around seven notifications from you on his phone. “Oh fuck I’m so fucked”. He knew that keeping up with a “relationship” could be stressful especially as spider-man. But you, you handled it with such grace. Always knowing what to say and do. Being there for him without him having to say a word and nothing made him prouder than parading you around town. Telling all his friends about you and Ganke couldn’t go five minutes without hearing your name. He tried to keep up he really did but he just couldn’t. God he loved you he just really had a funny way of showing it.
“And I get scared watchin' you
And the crowd gets wild, run to you”
He runs out of his room as soon as he sees all the texts and listens to the voicemail. He barely has enough time to put on his coat as he rushes to your house. A few minutes later he finds himself sprinting up your fire escape. The knocks on your window scared you as you tried to fall asleep.
“Hey mi amor open the window please”
You make no efforts to get out of bed and unlock your window and he sees that.
“Please you gotta let me make this up to you. I’m sorry I swear just lemme explain myself”
He placed his head against the window as tears start to pool in his eyes. You finally open the window and quickly turn your back to him trying to make some distance between the two of you.
“So where were you Miles”
A sigh escapes his lips quickly. “I was out on patrol”
“With Gwen…” You cut him off quickly.
“What…No not with Gwen. Why would it matter if I was.” He cocks his head to the side trying to get a grip on what the problem really is.
“I dunno you just seem to be spending a lot of time with her that’s all.” She shrugs trying to make herself seem nonchalant even though this conversation was killing her on the inside.
“Is this what this is about. Gwen….Really?” He scoffs.
“Yes Miles I mean you seem to prioritize her over whatever this is. You never even asked me out yet you’ve been taking me on dates and sneaking through my window for months. It’s like this means nothing to you. You’re always so quick to talk her up though. If you really wanna be with her go do it.”
Miles silently crossed the room and wrapped his arms around you placing his head in the crook of your neck.
“I run to you, I run to you, I run to you
I love you, I love you”
“I’m sorry for letting these thoughts fill up your mind baby. It was never like that with her I swear to you. She’s just my friend someone I can talk to about all my spider-man stuff.
He runs his hands across his face sighing before continuing his speech.
“I love you mi amor. That’s why I’ve been acting like this. I didn’t know how to address it or if you would feel the same way and I was scared. I was so so scared. I’m sorry for letting my emotions get the better of me and not explaining. I’ll do better; I’ll be better. I promise”
He kisses you on the cheek gently holding you like you could break if he applied any more pressure.
“Will you let me be your boyfriend”
sorry for the long ahh fic 💀💀 anyway u should gimme requests and stuff. thankssss

I chose you (Julián Álvarez x Reader)
Tumblr media
**Got another Julián request recently and it’s always funny how easy it is to write for him. So hopefully it’s easy and enjoyable to read for all of you ❤️**
Word count: 1879
Masterlist
Wattpad
“Are you ok?”, asks my mum, and I can see the worry in her expression even through the screen.
“Yeah. Just not feeling 100% at the moment, you know?”
“Why? Are you sick or something?”
“No. I guess I’m just going through one of those moments where I don’t feel super confident or whatever. No specific reason. For all I know, it could just be the bad weather making me feel this way”.
“Is everything ok with Julián?”
I smile without even noticing. “Yes, mum. It’s nothing to do with him”.
“Well, I’ll still tell him to take better care of you so you don’t feel this way”.
“Mum, I’m a grown woman. I don’t need my boyfriend to take care of me”.
“We all need people to take care of us. Don’t forget that”.
I don’t want to admit it but I know she’s right. I’m always in my own head, not sharing how I feel and it can be a bit much sometimes.
“I’ll talk to Julián when he comes back”, I promise to myself before picking up my phone to waste my time on social media.
I see City have posted some photos, including one of Julián, so I like the post. Then I click on his profile and go to the tagged photos. I always love seeing all the photos of him that professional photographers take. I have an album full of them.
But I also see photos fans have posted. It seems like there are more girls taking photos with him after training. With him and all the others, but I only care about my boyfriend.
I’m not a jealous person. I’ve never been, honestly. It’s easy to say you aren’t but then your actions show the opposite. However, that’s not me. I don’t think I’d be able to deal with the stress if I was a jealous person and dating a football player.
So it’s not jealousy I feel while reading the captions they write for my boyfriend. Or seeing the videos where they try to hug him or kiss his cheek. But if it isn’t jealousy, then what is it?
I usually would just laugh it off. Julián himself tells me stories of these meetings whenever something funny happens, knowing how little I’ll care about their flirting with him.
Opening TikTok is probably the stupidest idea at the moment. Yet here I am wasting more time making myself feel ugly seeing all the gorgeous girls I follow for beauty and fashion inspo and getting annoyed at the edits Julián’s fans make for him.
“I’m so stupid”, I say, throwing the phone on the sofa before hiding underneath one of the blankets.
A couple of minutes later, Julián is back and starts to call my name. For a second, I think about pretending to sleep but he would notice the lie.
“I’m here”, I say in a small voice, getting my head out from underneath the blanket so he can see me.
“What are you doing there? Are you feeling alright?”
I nod, not wanting to worry him with my silly thoughts. “Just tired”.
“Well, I’m tired too. How about you move so I can fit next to you and we cuddle?”
“I’d like that”.
My promise to tell him about how I was feeling is gone the second I place my head on his chest. Because I have no reason to feel like this. I should be fine. This will pass soon.
                                    **
"So how was your day?, asks Julián while he sets the table for our dinner. We fell asleep on the sofa the moment we cuddled and didn't get to talk at all.
"Ok, I guess", I shrug.
"What did you do? You always tell me about the whole day. Come on, I want to know".
I'm usually excited to talk about my day. But not right now. "You know. Studied in the morning, face timed with my mum and then went to the sofa to nap".
"Everything ok with your parents?"
"Sure. Why do you ask?"
I can see him trying to find the right words. "I don't know. You seem a bit off. I thought maybe they gave you bad news or something".
"No. I'm just tired. I told you".
"Well, then you sit here", he says, putting his hands on my shoulders and guiding me to the chair. "And I'll finish getting everything ready".
"Thank you", I say, offering him a small smile. His is a lot bigger and after kissing my temple he goes back to the kitchen.
During dinner, he updates me on everything going on at the club and focusing my attention on someone else for a second helps me a lot.
"Feeling better?", he says, hopeful.
"Yes. I think I'll just take a shower before bed to help me relax".
"Go do that. I'll put this in the dishwasher".
I get up to go to the room and stop when I reach Julián to give him a hug.
"I love it when you're clingy like that".
This time the smile is bigger. It's easy to smile when he's around. It's when I'm alone with my thoughts that I struggle.
When I get out of the shower, I try to make a bit of an effort. It's not as if I have to impress Julián right now, but I need to impress myself, sort of.
Whenever I'm having these confidence issues or whatever they are, the first thing I drop is looking after myself. I struggle with simple things such as putting on moisturizer after the shower or picking cute outfits. And it only makes me feel worse in the end because I look worse. It's such a stupid cycle.
Julián is already in bed looking at his phone when I get back to the room. He puts the phone away the moment I get to the bed and puts one of his arms around my shoulders to bring me closer to him.
"You smell so good I could eat you".
I laugh. "You don't like coconut".
"Not the fruit. But I like it when you smell like this", he says, nuzzling his nose on my neck.
"Feel free to use the body butter if you want to smell like me", I joke.
"Wouldn't that make me too irresistible to other women?"
I roll my eyes at his bad joke. "I'll take the risk".
"Actually, I didn't tell you this funny story from today. These three girls asked for a photo when I was in my car and kept complimenting me, my clothes, my car …no subtlety", he laughs but I don't join him. "And then a kid showed up and they had to let him get closer and were so annoyed. They'll probably be there again tomorrow".
I don't say anything because what can I say? I already saw the photos and I thought the girls looked familiar. I guess they spend their days there.
"Hey, you ok?"
"Yes", I say, turning my back to him and pretending to get ready to sleep.
"What was that?"
"I'm sleepy. Good night".
"What did I do for you to react like…wait, are you jealous?"
"What?", I say, turning again to look at him.
"I told you about those girls and you got all weird. You have no reason to be jealous, you know that".
"I'm not jealous of any fangirls, Julián".
And I'm not, but my tone and my face make it sound like a lie. I hate this feeling.
I go back to my previous position and a couple of seconds later I notice Julián wrapping his arms around my waist and bringing me closer to his chest.
"It's you I want. Please know that".
"I know", I whisper. Maybe it's better if he thinks I'm jealous instead of having to dig deeper to explain everything else. "I love you".
"I love you too. Sleep well now. You'll feel better tomorrow after a good night's rest".
If only it were that easy.
                                      **
The next couple of days, Julián seems to be tiptoeing around my feelings and he doesn't bring up any meetings with fangirls. Actually, by checking Instagram, I've noticed one of them mentioned he didn't stop to attend them at all. I don't even know how I feel about that.
By the time he comes back from training, I'm back under the blanket and when he gets to the sofa, he moves it to see my face.
"You were worrying me so I spoke to your mum".
"What?", I say, sitting up.
"Well, you don't talk to me so I had to do something. I can't see my girlfriend hurting and do nothing".
"I just don't know what happens to me", I say, feeling the tears on the back of my eyes.
"It's not going to solve everything but sit here", he says, patting the spot between his legs. "So I can hold you while we try to make sense of it, ok?"
I nod, sitting there and letting him share his strength with me through this hug.
"It's just something that happens sometimes. I don't know if it's anxiety or something else. But I just feel like I'm not enough. Like all my confidence is gone. Like anything I have to do, no matter how small, demands too big of an effort from me".
"Ok. Does it usually take long for that feeling to go away?"
"It depends. It used to be worse when I was younger. Now it's usually a couple of days. Maybe a week and a half or something like that".
"And do you know anything that can make you feel better? Whatever it is, I'll make sure you have it".
"You".
He looks at me confused. "What do you mean?"
"I need you. You don't even notice how much you help me just by being you. It's when you're not around that it gets worse".
"That means a lot to me. But we need to find other ways to help. I wish I could always stay with you but I can't".
"I know", I say, hugging him tighter and placing my head on his chest.
"And you're sure there is no jealousy involved in this? It's ok if there is. I mean, I'm jealous of every man that talks to you".
I chuckle. "No, I'm not jealous. I guess what made me feel worse about those fans was their confidence. How they had no fear of going to talk with you guys and being so direct to you. I wouldn't be able to do something like that. Not in the state I'm in at the moment".
"You don't need to. Because I chose you a while ago. And I keep choosing you every day".
"But you didn't know all these issues were included in the package when you chose me. What if it gets too much for you? I don't want you to feel like you have to baby me".
"I'm not. I'm just looking after you like you look after me. Can you just let me do it? Let me look after you, please".
"Does looking after me include cuddles and watching my favourite movies while we eat ice cream?"
"Of course it does".
"Then count me in".

Hi! Could I request yandere venti, aether, xiao and diluc's reaction with a reader who is on hunger strike? :> (like, she is being hostage and whatever and she refuses to eat unless they get freed?)
Also, welcome to our comunity! Glad to be ur first request :D
Tumblr media
hello! thank you for being my first req!
Warnings: Yandere, stalking, murder(slightly, not described), hunger strikes (it’s not that serious except for Diluc), locking up, lmk if I missed any!
Tumblr media
Xiao
(p.s I got super out of prompt 😭)
Xiao is a stalker yandere. A lot of people said they don’t even see Xiao at all, even though you see him quite frequently. You barely know him, most of the time you pass by each other and give some simple greetings. But he would time his work right and arrive just at your window when you come home, he watches your step by step, he knows exactly what you do to your itty bitty habits like always making extra food and finishing it the next day, randomly cutting your hair or not drinking clearly enough water. You drop your bags down tiredly, he peered through your window and see you just doing things like everyday, cutting the meat and vegetables but you look way more agitated today?? Anyways, you cook your meal like always, plate it messily and left it on the table..? You didn’t even touch the spoon, mixing around or play with your food. You just left it there, right at where he can see it clearly. Xiao was very confused, did he get caught? But why would that stop you from eating? He snapped back by you glaring straight at him, then acting like nothing happened and just walking back in to your room. You didn’t notice him right?
Aether
He’s the oblivious type but wouldn’t accept it. Aether sees you all the time, somehow knows all your hobbies and would bring it up in a random way.
“Would you like a candy?” You brought out a bag of candies that you bought yesterday.
“I thought you didn’t like this flavor?”
“…How did you know?” The flavor you liked had ran out in the store yesterday, you settled for another flavor but didn’t really like it.
“…”
“Aether?”
“Yeah I’ll have one.”
He knows your favorite food. Aether knows when you crave for a certain dish, so he’s confused when you instead just order a drink and leave. You even just leisurely sipping on your drink, instead of finishing it immediately and getting to work. He walks behind you and catches up, striking a conversation but you replied with casual one word replies, he offered you some snacks you liked but you didn’t accept, you would have already eaten all of the food he brought by now but you aren’t even looking at the food. Days went by and the exact same thing happened, to the point that you lost so much weight and seemed so tired. Aether had to find another option to get you to eat again. Locking you up, force feeding, making you eat while you are unconscious
Venti
He’s super obvious, he even says it from time to time. If you call a mountain annoying he would probably cut it off for you and still be ( ^ω^ ) while saying “you said it was annoying!” He’s super clingy, every time he sees you which is planned he will cling on to you until you literally have to tell him to get off. Venti doesn’t know a lot about your habits since you do keep it a secret quite well, but he does know what you dislike very well, the moment you say you hate something it’s gone. As he’s clinging on to you again, you seemed very annoyed,
“Is something wrong?”
“Fucking hell Venti, stop it! You can’t just destroy everything just because I don’t like it!”
“Why not? If you don’t like it, then it simply doesn’t deserve to be there! Anyways, let’s go eat something!” Venti looks at the restaurant you always go for when you need comfort food.
“I’m not eating anything until you stop.” You said with a sigh.
“What?” He stops smiling immediately
“You heard me.”
He starts making a fuss, yelling and screaming about if you don’t eat he’s gonna make you eat, clinging on to you even harder to the point that your arm starts to feel numb. Each day goes by that you don’t eat, Mondstadt is suffering with wind and crops dying, Venti clings on you even harder and gets desperate for you to eat, he promises that he’ll do anything for you.
Diluc
Now he’s the Yandere people think of, locking up his lover and killing people just to please them. He keeps it really well hidden though, everyone just assumes that you two are just a couple that fights a lot like any other couple. He gets you the finest of the finest products you want, but you have to always be where he can see and never run off. He definitely has killed people before because they looked at you wrongly. You slumped down to your seat and lay your head on the counter, to which Diluc didn’t steal a look since you were always tired. He put a plate of the meal you asked for yesterday, but you didn’t want it. He got confused, then frustrated, then mad.
“What’s with you today?”
“What’s wrong with you?” You rebutted to which he seemed even more mad.
“I give you the best of the best and you act like this?!”
“I don’t want you to give me these fancy shenanigans. And definitely not to kill someone.”
“So this is what you’re fussing about?”
“Obviously??”
“Then fine! Don’t eat all you want and see how long you can take it!”
Diluc didn’t expect you to actually not eat for that long, it’s been a week and your health is severely disclining. He now has to lock you up, force you to eat himself, how annoying of you.
Tumblr media
I’m sorry it took so long!
Thanks for being my first req! It’s my first time writing and English is definitely not my first language 😓

I just realized while looking at your latest make me write post that your WIP list just got way smaller! 😆
Since you just posted TWATYTK and you’re under an avalanche of Dove, I’ll give you a reprieve and ask for something else 😝
🔼🔼🔼🔼🔼🔼🔼🔼🔼🔼
🧟‍♂️🧟‍♂️🧟‍♂️🧟‍♂️🧟‍♂️🧟‍♂️🧟‍♂️🧟‍♂️🧟‍♂️🧟‍♂️
Hahahah thank you! And yesss but just added three new WIPs that I am very excited about. Because apparently I can never rest.
30 for 🔼:
---
He doesn’t seem super present. He seems… Well, almost like the person he was before. And that scares Shannon a little.
Thankfully, the appointment goes well and she doesn’t need him to be a lot more. She doesn’t need the hype man she’d needed when they found out the sex. Jane is measuring within normal range. Seven to eight pounds is the estimate. Christopher was more than ten. She can handle this. Well, she thinks she can. If Jane keeps to her end of the bargain and doesn’t grow like a weed.
Nevertheless, Shannon is disappointed that Eddie seems spacy. She’s irritated. She wants the new and improved, sometimes annoyingly competent super-dad back. And maybe she’s also just seven months pregnant and the slightest bit cranky.
“Would it kill you to look interested or ask a question?” She practically snaps at him when the OBGYN leaves the room.
Eddie blinks, surprised. The venom in her words takes a moment to set in. Then, his face twists angrily.
“Sorry if I’m a little tired from a crap shit of work,” he grumbles back.
And like… That’s probably fair. It really, probably is. Except… It doesn’t feel fair. It feels like the same old shit.
“Well, god forbid your daughter occupy more space in your mind than your job for thirty minutes.”
Fuck. She knows as soon as she’s said it that she shouldn’t have said it.
---
30 for 🧟‍♂️:
---
“You smell like extramarital sex.”
Buck coughs.
“Taylor,” Shannon scolds.
“Not that that’s any of your business,” Eddie says. “But I didn’t know it was extramarital, at the time.”
“Not that we need to talk about it at all!” Shannon adds, looking at her friend. “Seriously.”
Taylor smirks. “Whatever. I’ll show you the showers and where you can leave your crap.”
“I’ll see if I can radio Lucy,” Abby says. “Maybe she can come back sooner.”
“Good idea,” Shannon says.
Eddie can’t help but agree. The sooner they leave, the sooner they get home to Christopher, the better.
▪️▪️▪️
They put Buck and Eddie in what was clearly an old guest kid’s room. There are side-by-side twin beds.
“This feels like a statement,” Eddie observes after they’ve both taken showers. Separately, obviously. It’s the first chance they’ve gotten to really talk by themselves.
Buck laughs lightly. “Yeah, certainly not the master suite from, uh… From last night.”
The way he says it, it's like he’s nervous to bring it up. Fair enough. It’s sort of awkward now, isn’t it? For so many reasons.
“Did you and Abby have a good talk?” Eddie asks.

Hey there, amazing person! I just broke my elbow and had to go in for surgery. I am now in a lot of pain and could use a pick me up. Could you do a fluffy Kol x reader where the reader is super freaked about the surgery and even though he doesn't know how any of the stuff works, he still stays as long as he can to comfort her. Then when she wakes up Kol is super sweet and stays the whole first night even though she keeps him up cuz she's in pain. Please 🙏 I need this in my life!
Tumblr media
I’ll always stay
You woke up in the hospital with immense pain shooting through your body, your face was stained with tears as you brought your hand to touch the source of your discomfort
“i wouldn’t do that darling, it’ll only hurt more” you whipped your head round to see Kol in the chair next to you, he was leant forward and looking at your arm
“it’s broken…you have to have surgery” your face paled as he spoke those words and tears spilled over your cheeks when you shifted and felt your elbow move. A choked cry left your mouth as you stared at your arm
“no no…oh it hurts Kol! it hurts!” He was on his feet in an instant and gently held your hand that wasn’t attached to your injured arm.
“We’ll get some more pain stuff okay? NURSE!?” he started screaming for the nurse repeatedly
“I NEED A NURSE! DOCTOR! SURGEON!??” you couldn’t hold in your little laugh as he waved his arm around like a mad man to capture the attention of a doctor
“YES! you. here now please, we need drugs so she feels better…like not in pain better not like high…unless you think that could help i mean-“
“Kol…i don’t think he’s gonna let me get high just cuz i broke my elbow” the doctor stood there in silence as Kol tap on the button that gives you pain medication
“sir, she’s at the max medication, I’m afraid you’ll just have to wait till the surgery, its very soon and then when you wake up it should start feeling a little better” you nodded and the doctor looked at your elbow
“you’re not going to be able to do some things for a while…”
“thats fine i can do everything for them, cook, clean whatever the need i got it, you can go now” he responded quickly and ushered the man out
he turned back to find you trying to get comfortable, Kol sighed and sat beside you and gently rubbed your legs
“well..surgery isn’t too far away…i can read to you? well i’ll just tell you a story…maybe from my past? i don’t have a book on me but, you know its fine i’ll wing it” you offered a smile and he kissed your forehead before beginning his story
———————————————————————
“okay we’re going to count to ten and we need you to just take deep breaths, you’ll start to feel tired, that’s normal and it’s a good thing. The surgery wont last too long and when you wake your pretty boyfriend will probably still be here okay?” you followed the instructions and fell into a sleep like situation
———————————————————————
Your head lulled to the side as you felt your body shift, you noticed an arm around your waist and then saw Kol snoring with his head on your stomach as he barely hung on the end of the hospital bed making you giggle and pet his hair listening to him mumble in his sleep. You went to move your other arm but the sharp pain stabbed through you again and you gasped a cry. Kol’s head snapped up at the sound of your stress and he fell of the bed
“what in the- oh crap- are you okay? does it still hurt you want me to go get-“ you cut him off by shaking your head while he scrambled to his feet and pulled the chair over to you
“no it’s fine i just, just stay please”
“i’ll always stay… i managed to download Netflix on my phone if you wanna pick something” his brows were furrowed and he tapped on the screen before shimmying over so you could both see the range of films and shows
you watched as he scrolled through the different genres with a concentrated expression and you found yourself smiling fondly
“you look cute when you’re serious” you told him and his eyes darted to yours as a smug smirk tugged at his lips
“mm and you always look cute my darling, could just eat you up” you laughed at that and leaned towards him, he entwined your good hand with his and pressed play on your favourite film. He would stay, you knew he would, he would always stay, for you.
(i know it’s short but i really hope it still lifts your spirits a bit, i hope the pain decreases and you start feeling better soon. I wish you the chance ti find your own Kol Mikaelson and a better rest of 2023 🤍)

Pairing: Stephen Strange/Reader

Word Count: 2.1k
Summary: You’re sick and thanks to a weakened immune system, having a hard time resting and fighting it off. It’s absolutely miserable but lucky for you, Stephen is more than willing to step into the role of caretaker and help you feel better.
Author’s Note: I’m back with another super self-indulgent fic featuring Stephen and a Chronically Ill Reader.
Because when sick and feeling miserable, why not hope for a strong, caring, also kind-of-an-asshole magic doctor to take care of you?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The knock at your door shouldn’t have surprised you.
Of course, Wong would have mentioned your absence to Stephen. Not just because he was your friend and cared about you, but because you were also one of the sorcerers who’d studied under him at Kamar-Taj, and he felt a lovely sort of protectiveness for you. Plus, Wong played dirty; if you were feeling resistant to his advice, he would send in Stephen who could easily sway the odds in the librarian’s favor. It was underhanded, annoying, and you absolutely respected it.
You tried to stand up so you could answer the door, but your overwrought throat had other ideas. A coughing fit started, one so bad you couldn’t even wince through it as your body tried to cough up whatever crud your weakened immune system was generating in its pitiful fight against the “upper respiratory infection” (re: common cold) the urgent care doctor had diagnosed you with. You couldn’t even call for him to come in, instead hastily grabbing your glass of water and sucking it down in an attempt to soothe the raw ache in your throat. Times like this had you almost wanting to take the risk of your immune system attacking you again if it meant a day and night without painful, hacking coughing spells.
He must have gotten tired of waiting because the sound of a portal opening echoed in your living room.
“You didn’t have to stop by,” you croaked out. “Stephen, I’m so gross right now.”
“You certainly look gross,” he agreed. He knew you well enough to know that any attempts to say you looked beautiful would be met with disdain. You hated platitudes - you heard too many of them all too often. They were well-meaning, yes, but annoying.
So, you weren’t even mad at him for agreeing with you. You’d showered, obviously, but your eyes were watery from the pain and your hair was a mess. You were wearing your oldest pajama pants with a well-used handkerchief stuffed in the pocket and a loose, ratty long-sleeved shirt. You looked - and felt - absolutely disgusting.
“I’m not worried about that,” he said. “Because you sound even worse."
You watched as the Sorcerer Supreme and Master of the Mystic Arts melted away and was replaced with Stephen Strange, MD. It was always a fascinating shift to observe. Your Stephen was a healer before he was anything else.
“How long as this been going on?”
You held up five fingers.
“Five days, okay.” He pulled out a pen light and a tongue depressor. There had to be something up with those pockets of his, there just had to be! “Stick out your tongue and say ‘ah’.”
Rolling your eyes, you did as he asked.
“Oh, that’s no fun at all. It’s all kinds of inflamed.” His fingers were gentle as they felt around your neck. He produced a stethoscope. You needed to learn that pocket-expansion spell.
Without prompting you breathed deeply and let him listen to your lungs. Then you breathed normally as he moved the diaphragm to your chest.
“Your lungs actually sound good.”
He checked your ears. “And your ears are draining properly, thank goodness. Have you been to see anyone?”
You nodded. “Urgent care,” you managed.
“Can you do me a favor and please stop talking if you don’t absolutely have to, Darling?” he asked. “There’s no need to make it worse and I know it hurts to speak right now.” He looked around and seized on a notebook and pen. “Here. Write down what you need to say. Do you have the discharge papers from the doctor on-call?”
You scribbled down Kitchen table, and wondered if this was your sign to seriously look into ASL classes.
He left and returned with the papers, reading and muttering to himself. “Benzonatate capsules… those are fucking useless. And… ‘gargle warm salt water and take ibuprofen for pain and fever as needed.’ Are they incompetent there?” He demanded of no one in particular once he was finished. “Did they even bother to read your medical history? When someone with your condition, on the mediction you take, gets sick, treatment has to be aggressive. Your body can’t fight it off on it’s own, otherwise, and you’ll just get worse.” He shook his head. “Do they want you to end up in the hospital with pneumonia?”
He was preaching to the choir. You’d heard this rant before from your care team, your support group, and others. But coming from him? It warmed your heart every time. He never made you feel helpless or unable to take care of yourself, but he had no problem stepping up to advocate for you.
You held up a finger and wrote out, They are a good clinic. I did my research before I walked in.
He nodded reluctantly. You continued to write.
You know why they’re so reluctant to just prescribe more aggressive treatments on a first visit. It sucks, but it can’t be helped. I can’t afford a DSB label in my records.
He looked like he wanted to say something, but wisely refrained. You two had been over this a few different times and ultimately he understood that the final say was, in fact, yours.
“I know,” he said. “I don’t like it, but I do understand.” He’d worked in a lot of emergency care as a medical student, intern, and resident, as well as in MetroGeneral’s walk-in clinic when he wasn’t in a high enough position to finagle his way out of it. He knew the realities of it as well as anyone.
He studied you, no doubt taking in your watery eyes, unhealthy pallor, and all-around miserable body language. Then you gave a loud, hacking, desperate-to-be-productive cough and he cringed. “May I please treat you?” he asked. “It breaks the three-percent of my heart that isn’t a black, iced-over exuse for an organ to see you like this.”
You nodded with an amused snort that thankfully didn’t devolve into another fit. Please! I can’t take another night without sleep.
“I know,” he soothed. “I’ll help you. Give me about thirty minutes and I’ll be back.”
Where else would I go?
He smirked. “Behave.”
Tumblr media
While he was gone you moved the many empty cups (all water you’d sucked down like it was elixir) to the kitchen and started loading the dishwasher. You chucked the icky handkerchief in with the laundry to be washed in the hottest water possible and grabbed a fresh one from your bedroom dresser. It was dainty and feminine but you found yourself missing your father’s all-purpose paisley ones and wished you could pilfer one from his dresser drawer. (You’d even return it. Or, you’d do your best to remember to return it. History was not in your favor in that regard.)
Feeling better about the state of your residence, if not your current health, you sat on your sofa and sipped some water. You kept your breathing calm and level as best you could, not wanting to provoke another painful coughing session. Knowing you’d probably be on your way to feeling better than you felt in close to a week, you finally let your body relax.
Stephen wouldn’t be able to magically fix you, you knew, but he would help you get more comfortable and to a point where you could actually rest and start to recover. Most importantly, however, he always asked for your permission before doing so. That alone meant more to you than you could adequately express.
His instinct was always to heal; it was in the core of his being. But he never pushed or browbeat you into accepting, even when you could tell that he really really wanted to. His respect for your autonomy was one of the greatest gifts he could give you.
Tumblr media
He stepped through another portal soon enough and he carried an insulated grocery bag and wore a leather messenger bag with a flat bottom. He set the grocery bag on the kitchen counter and brought the messenger bag with him.
Stephen?
He made a gesture and the Mirror Dimension shattered into being around you.
“Now,” he said with a pleased-at-his-own-cleverness smile. “As we’re in the Mirror Dimension, no can legally prove that I’m essentially committing a felony.”
He withdrew a tinted bottle with the screw cap you preferred. “This is an antibiotic. Take one pill once a day, preferably in the morning after breakfast. Speaking of breakfast, you’ll do well to avoid dairy for a couple of hours before and after taking this.”
Got it.
“And finish the entire bottle,” he added.
You saluted before writing Were these gained by legal means?
Stephen affected a dignified look. "Kamar-Taj is not beholden to Earthly legalities and our residents come from all walks of life. If they feel the need to use skills and knowledge previously learned for the betterment of our home, who am I to judge?"
Only slightly sketchy, then.
“I wouldn’t being you something that was neither safe nor effective, I promise. I would never harm a patient, especially one as precious to me as you.”
I know.
He withdrew a bottle from the bag, this one smaller but heavier. It wore the dosage cap like a little hat.
“The good cough syrup. This, you take right before bed. Once you take it, you need to lay down, because it’s strong.” His expression was serious, as it always was when it came to medicine. “I mean it, Darling. No cooking, no lifting heavy items, and definitely no going out and driving after you take a dose. The bottle is spelled to only administer the prescribed dosage in the provided cup, so there’s no risk of pouring too much or taking it before it’s needed again.”
What’s in it?
“An antihistamine and a very low concentration of codeine. I know you’d rather avoid narcotics and I want to agree, but Sweetheart, you need to be able to sleep right now. Your body can’t sustain this.”
Reluctantly, you nodded. Just because you needed to take it, didn’t mean you had to like it.
He pulled out a larger bottle of liquid with another dosing cup. “This isn’t quite the good stuff but it’s suitable for day use and is non-habit forming.” He set it next to the other bottles. “It’s also spelled to only pour the prescribed dosage.”
You smiled, happy at the compromise.
“And last but certainly not least, what is quite literally an ancient Kamar-Taj remedy: throat lozenges crafted by a team of Masters from herbs and honey harvested from our greenhouses and hives. I asked for their recommendation and they insisted I bring you,” he studied the bag. “Very Extraordinary Berry.”
Your eyes were watery again, but it wasn’t from pain.
Thank you so much.
“I love that you value your independence and I know that you’re used to being the care taker in most cases. But it really is my pleasure to help,” he said. “You know I’m not good with words but you’re always telling me I show you much I love you, so hopefully this counts as one of those times.”
You nodded. It's absolutely one of those times.
Stephen stood and checked his watch - a cheap novelty watch that featured Spider-Man and was better suited for a pre-teen. You’d gotten it for him as cheeky little April Fool’s joke but he swore up and down that he loved it and wore it every day.
“It’s close to nine. Why don’t you have a juice bar, take some of the good stuff, and go to bed? I’ll put the groceries away and take care of everything else.”
Bed - with proper sleep! - sounded wonderful.
Okay.
“I brought strawberry and lemon flavors, since you apparently have the palette of my elderly neighbor Estelle.”
Don’t be a hater just because you’re a wuss when it comes to the nirvana that is lemon flavor.
“And I’ll make you Estelle’s recipe for chicken soup.” He pulled out two notecards. “Exactly the way she made it because I’d rather face Dormammu than her ghost haunting me for messing up her pride and joy.”
Oh that sounds good! The instant stuff just doesn’t cut it.
You enjoyed the frozen juice bar more than you’d enjoyed anything since you’d gotten sick. Then you took your dose of “the good stuff” under Stephen’s watchful - but not patronizing - eye. He pushed some water on you and helped you to bed. He even refilled your humidifier and tucked you in.
“Sleep well, Darling. I’ll be here in the morning, okay?”
You nodded. “Love you,” you mouthed.
“I love you, too.”
He left and shut the door behind him. For the first time in days, you were able to sleep peacefully.

could you possibly do a scenario for either Jaemin or Jeno where their s/o scratches their back after a long day and they really appreciate it?
a / n :: omg hi my love !! thank u for this one. sorry it took a while to get back to u ! i think this is suuuch a cute idea so thanks a ton for sending it in ! i decided to go w jeno on this one because he's been on my mind lately. but let me know if u want something else for jaemin or have suggestions for anything else ! also if u found this from tags , a like & a rb is always super appreciated !! <33
jeno’s exhausted and you know it. he’s been doing his best to hide it - giving you the warmest smile when he’d come in from work , diligently listening to your entire detailed recollection of your day , and even offering to cook for the two of you without being asked. but when he doesn’t think you’re looking , you catch his fatigue slipping out - a little yawn every few seconds, rubbing sore spots on his neck , and walking around your shared apartment with a certain sort of tiredness you understood well.
and yet , even now , he sits on the couch , waiting on you to watch a movie with you as he’d promised hours ago , before he’d been wiped out by the long hours of work. you don’t intend on making him sit through the movie anyways , but his dedication to his word was enough to make your heart warm.
so wordlessly , you slip behind his comfy position on the couch , wedging yourself between your boyfriend and the soft furniture. jeno’s lazily curious , only muttering a small “ hmm ? ” as your hands trail his back. but the second he feels your nails gently digging into his skin , he’s quick to let out a hum of satisfaction , as the tension nearly immediately leaves his shoulders.
“ mm , baby - what’s this ? free massage ? you don’t have to - ”
“ no , no , i insist ! ” teasingly , you hit him softly on the back , already shutting him down playfully as the two of you laugh in unison. “ please , let me ! you look so tired. ”
you can tell he’s even too exhausted to protest , so within a few seconds he seems to oblige and lean into your touch. carefully , you dig your fingers into his skin , trailing down before slowly making their way up again. you’re sure to notice where he seems to have the most tension , and in between scratches you sneak in little massages. he seems grateful for it , given the little groans he lets out , as if to praise for a job well done.
“ wow … this is nice. and not because i’m tired or anything - i’m just always ready for some affection from my baby. ” you can’t help but chuckle at him , recognizing his denial as a clumsy attempt to make you aware he’s willing to stay up and watch the movie with you. his kindness earns your most gentle touch , fingernails absentmindedly spelling out his name across the indents of his back.
everytime he verbalizes his happiness with your touch you can’t help but smile. you know you can’t do much that sleep won’t for him , but you hope that maybe a couple of minutes of care from you will make the worries of his day just a bit lighter.
“ long day ? you know , you can tell me if something’s bugging you, ” you ask quietly , after a while.
“ i know , y / n. i’ve been okay , it’s just that my hours are longer than usual , that’s all. but honestly ? i’m just happy to be home with you. ” you know he’s probably not being completely truthful , downplaying just how tired he is as to not worry you. but , not wanting to push too much , you lean forward , poking your head around to give a gentle kiss to his cheek.
“ okay, jeno , whatever you say - just … don’t overwork yourself , okay ? ” as you talk , jeno goes to scratch a spot under his spine , but before he can , your fingers have already beat him to it. putting his hand over yours , he rubs circles over your knuckles before eventually moving his body to face you. when your eyes lock , he meets you with a sleepy grin , eyes barely managing to stay open but trying their best to keep themselves trained on you.
“ thank you , baby. ”
“ for what ? ” you ask genuinely , eyebrows raised. truthfully , you weren’t out for any sort of praise - in fact , you saw this as repayment for all his acts of kindness he’d done for you over the course of the day.
“ just - for everything. for being you ? ” the words are admittedly a little cheesy - enough to cause both of you to giggle at them. “ i don’t know ! i just - you make me feel so comfortable , and i’m really grateful for it , baby. ” he takes the moment to intertwine his hands with yours - and truthfully , they’re rarely anywhere else - and gives a firm squeeze to them. as if he can’t help himself , he suddenly leans in to peck your cheek , looking you over carefully as if you were going to fly away at any moment.
“ everything you do makes me safe , and make me feel at home. thank you for caring enough to help me unwind. ” you can’t help but feel both shy and flattered under his sudden gratitude , and don’t know what more to do than to smile at his compliments. that is , until a sudden light comes to his eyes.
“ wait babe , i completely forgot - the movie ! let’s put it on, ” he says suddenly , springing up to grab the remote from the nearby coffee table.
“ oh no , jeno , let’s just go to bed ! you already mentioned being slee - ” but before you can say anymore , you feel two strong arms grip your waist with ease. suddenly , you’re flying down to the couch , but jeno’s careful to make sure his body lands the full impact of the fall before you can. the two of you break out into a fit of laughter , and while you pretend to struggle under his grip you see him wrap a throw blanket over you two’s cuddling bodies.
“ no way ! the love of my life gave me the best massage of my life and thinks i’ll just let them go to bed !? no way ! turn the volume up and get cozy. you're stuck with me - it’s movie night ! ”

Constellations
“Did you know that constellations are different in the human realm?” Gus said, breaking the comfortable silence between him and Matt.
“No, I didn’t, cause I’m not a nerd,” Matt shot back, never one to pass up an opportunity to tease his friend. He leaned back onto the blanket they had laid out in the looking glass graveyard, shifting from sitting to laying down for a better view of the stars through the trees. He glanced sideways at Gus. “Tell me about them, though. So I can use your facts to impress everyone, obviously.” An absolute lie. He wanted Gus to tell him about human realm constellations because he could listen to Gus talk for hours. Gus shot Matt a crooked grin as he laid down beside him.
“Whatever you say, Matty. For starters, their sky isn’t as purple as ours at night. It’s more like a navy blue. And it’s absolutely bright blue during the day, which is weird. And you can’t really see the stars from most places anymore, because of all the lights in their cities.”
Matt frowned. “But we have lights in our cities, and I can see the stars just fine.”
“Yeah, but their lights work different than ours. It’s a whole thing. But that’s not the point! Anyway, we went camping while we were there, and out in the woods, you can see a crazy amount of stars. Luz taught me some of the constellations.
“The famous ones are the big dipper and the little dipper, which are called that cause they both look like spoons. And they’re also both part of bigger bear constellations, I think. And a lot of their constellations have stories, like this one called Gemini. It’s also called the twins, because it’s of two brothers that were put in the sky because one died and the other one was so sad that he asked their—well, this guy who was kind of like their Titan—anyway, he asked him to make him and his brother immortal, so the Titan made them a constellation. There’s lots of interesting stories like that, and I think I want to go back sometime so I can find a book at the human library about them. I want to know every story of every star.”
Matt soaked in every word of Gus’s rambling. He had long ago stopped gazing at the stars, opting instead to gaze at the boy beside him as he spoke animatedly. Somewhere in the back of his mind, he was aware that he must look stupidly lovestruck, but he couldn’t bring himself to care. It was true, anyway. Suddenly, Gus turned to look at him, and Matt felt like he couldn’t breathe.
“You should come with me.”
“What?”
“Back to the human realm,” Gus clarified. “You should come with me sometime. I can show you the constellations.”
“Oh,” Matt said dumbly. He could feel heat rushing to his cheeks. “Alright, loser, it’s a plan. Me and you. The human realm will never recover.”
Gus laughed, turning his eyes back towards the sky. “Yeah. Me and you. It’s a plan.”
Matt continued to watch him, unable to look away. He couldn’t help it; Augustus was magnetic, electrifying in an addictive way, and to be honest, he was downright gorgeous. Matt couldn’t get enough of him.
But what if Gus could get enough of Matt? Matt wasn’t stupid; he knew the chances of Gus feeling the same way about him were slim. What if Gus got tired of him, or found something—or someone—better in the human realm? Was Matt worth coming back to?
Matt chewed the inside of his cheek nervously, struggling to ask what he wanted to ask. Eventually, he bit the bullet, and softly said, “Will you come back?”
“What do you mean?” Gus replied. He again met Matt’s eyes, his brow furrowed. Matt cleared his throat.
“From the human realm. I know it’s full of all your favorite nerd stuff and you have friends there now, and their constellations are probably way cooler than ours, but… When you go to the human realm, are you gonna come back?” Will you come back to me?
“Oh.” Gus’s face softened. “Well…” He took Matt’s hand, and the older boy felt his heart beat wildly against his ribcage at the feeling of Gus’s palm pressed flush against his own. “There’s kinda this guy on the Boiling Isles… He’s annoying and rude and waaaaay dramatic, but I kinda…” Gus hesitated. “I kinda like him. So, y’know, even if I found everything I ever wanted in the human realm, I’d at least come back to see him.”
Matt didn’t know what to say. He was rendered speechless, his face bright red. Finally, he cleared his throat and looked back up at the purple sky, breaking their prolonged eye contact.
“Well, that’s super embarrassing.” His voice was too loud. “But… I bet he likes you too. And I bet he’d be glad to see you, if you did decide to visit.” Matt gave Gus’s hand a gentle squeeze. Gus squeezed back.
“Good. Cause I think I’d always come back for him.” He paused. “But I wouldn’t have to, if he came with me.”
“I think he’d go anywhere with you,” Matt said, almost too quickly. He didn’t mean to; it was just true, and the words practically fell out of his mouth.
“I’ll hold him to that.”

Fictober Day 16: "No, I'm not okay"
You can check it out on ao3 here if you prefer.
Summary: Shadow gets an unexpected visitor in the middle of the night in the form of Super. The hedgehog seems oddly tired.
Set in my Chaos Uncontrolled AU
Warnings: None
Word Count: ~800 words
Shadow stopped dead in his tracks as he stepped into the room. There sitting on his couch, something Rouge had forced on him after complaining he had nowhere for guests to sit, was Super. The golden hedgehog didn’t seem to notice him as he entered the room. What was he doing here? It was currently some time in the middle of the night. A time when most people would be asleep. Should be asleep. Shadow crossed his arms. “What are you doing here Super?”
That got a slight reaction. Super sluggishly looked behind him to lock eyes with Shadow. While typically direct eye contact like this unnerved Shadow, right now he felt nothing. “Sitting.” Super responded, voice dripping with sarcasm. He sounded tired though and Shadow couldn’t help but think about the time the two of them had gotten trapped in that cave together. Even the golden glow he gave off seemed dim.
“You know what I meant.” Shadow narrowed his eyes. Super didn’t say anything, just turned around and ignored him. Huffing Shadow walked up to stand beside the couch. Admittedly Super looked as tired as he sounded, and definitely out of it. The hedgehog has his legs pulled to his chest, his chin resting on them. “Should I be expecting any other visitors tonight?”
“Nah.” Super sighed. “Sonic and Tails are both asleep.” He shifted. “Tails shouldn’t even know I’m here I… disabled the tracker thing.”
That confession had Shadow feeling slightly more on edge but it was an easy feeling to push away for the time being. As loath as he was to admit it he had become rather good at reading Super and his moods. Hours spent together helping Super get a tighter grip on his chaos powers made sure of that. Right now he stood no threat to anyone, except maybe himself. “What happened?” Shadow glanced over at Super.
“Couldn’t sleep I guess…” Super was quiet, so unlike he usually was when Shadow interacted with him.
“Are you… alright?” Shadow felt as if the answer was obvious just based on Super’s appearance but he could gauge how bad it was depending on how Super answered.
“I-” Super growled and cut himself off. His ears pressed flat against his head. “No, I’m not ok.”
It was very bad apparently, if Super was admitting it willingly. “You came here and didn’t go to someone closer to you like Tails. Why?” Shadow kept his voice even. He’d seen how volatile Super could be when emotionally distressed.
“Needed to get out of the house. Get away from… everything as much as I could.” Super mumbled. It was a partial answer, but Shadow knew there was more to it. Though he would have to wait for Super to volunteer the information, pushing him very seldom worked. Shadow was willing to bet his patience would last longer than Super’s. After several quiet minutes he was proved right. “Just my stupid brain not letting me rest. Keeps making me think about stuff that either I know is not true or is not anything I can do anything about.” He huffed. “Got to be too much tonight so I waited for Sonic and Tails to fall asleep so I could… go clear my head I guess. For some reason first place I thought to go was here.”
“It’s a more… neutral ground.” Shadow frowned. “It doesn’t have a connection to whatever is going on probably. You’ve come hoping that the change in environment will get your thoughts to calm down.”
“I guess so.” Super hummed before glancing over at Shadow. “You’re not gonna try and kick me out?”
“Despite me wanting to kick you out I am well aware I would not be able to stop you from just coming back. It’s far too early to be getting into a fight. Besides, I'd like to keep my home undamaged.” Shadow huffed before walking off. Opening a nearby closet he grabbed a blanket out of it. By the time Shadow walked back over Super was watching him with mild interest over the back of the couch. Shadow got some satisfaction out of throwing the blanket at Super’s face and watching the chaos entity fall backwards off the couch. “Use that or don't. I don’t care. Just don’t break anything and you can stay for the night. I will not be explaining to Sonic what happened if you happen to overstay your welcome here.”
Super watched Shadow curiously as he picked himself up from the floor, collecting the blanket as he got back onto the couch. With one swift motion Super pulled the blanket around his shoulders. “Fine. Now go get some sleep edgehog.” Shadow gave Super one more glance before heading to his room. What an odd night.
