I really wanted to talk about my thoughts on Chain of Thorns BUT I JUST COULDN'T GET. THEM. TOGETHER.

(But I promised you I would) So I searched anti chain of thorns and then regretted it.

Overall, I LOVED ITTT!!

SO...Here are things I loved, I wanted more of ect ect, as less scattered as possible, anyway:

I am glad Jesse wasn't punished for being Tatiana's son but also (especially) Lucie for necromancy.

Also kinda sad that Lucie and James couldn't use their powers anymore. (Or well ,mostly, James his gun) but I get why (and now Kit will get to have the gun in TWP, if I remember the spoilers for SoBH I've read correctly, which is pretty cool)

WE DIDN'T GET CORDELIA AND LUCIE'S PARABATAI CEREMONY??? idc if it was completely uneventful I still want it. Cassie you let me down.

On the topic of things we didn't get, here are two more: Matthew telling his family about his secret FROM HIS PERSPECTIVE (and not just a mention through Cordelia) same for Will and Tess learning about the gracelet and more specifically I would have LOVED a Will and Cordelia scene (like Will saying "thanks for taking care of my son" and ruffle her hair like he wanted to in the wedding).

Oh and also Alastair coming out to Sona with Cordelia reacting the same way Eugenia did with Thomas would have been WHOLESOME.

I'd also like to say I'd have loved a scene where James and Cordie played chess and/or woke up in the same bed but fingers crossed that will be in the Better in Black short story (the book which I feel compelled to remind I am not getting but it will hopefully be published soon enough. Hopefully.)

I was SO SCARED Alastair and Thomas wouldn't end up together, THANK GOD I was wrong.

Arianna? Yeah ok pretty cool. Can't be the least bit mad at Ari for what happened at GoTSM.

I didn't mind Cordelia killing Tatiana. There was no one else who could have done it. Grace definitely couldn't have (except if she wanted to be as dead as Christopher or Tatiana to escape) and James already killed Belial so that'd be too much for one person. AND JAMES KILLED BELIAL!! James's will was as strong as a Prince of Hell and STRONGER which WE DON'T TALK ENOUGH ABOUT (and we do occasionally talk about it)!!!!

CHRISTOPHER DIED AND WASN'T GRIEVED ENOUGH. which isn't necessarily a bad thing considering it would have broken my heart much more. ALTHOUGH, I can't remember James grieving him, and that is. Other than that we saw the impact his death had on everyone, we saw Anna grieving, Grace, Matthew thinking about him and even Cordelia shedding tears and hugging James and that is enough.

Oh also, I find that I cannot hate Grace. She helped Cordelia A LOT by telling her about what she'd done considering James' was being a stuck-up "ahmag" at the time. (Which Thomas is pretty sure means idiot in Persian and I trust him)

Also, I feel like I want more of the characters as a group, you know, banter and meetings at the devil tavern.Like, they are SUCH a nice group. Their characters are AMAZING but I feel like (other than to fight) we didn't see them interact with each other enough. (Except ,obviously, the couples)

Other than that pretty content??

No hate, I am sad I finished the book these are just things I wished we'd gotten, but one can't have everything and this gives me content for daydreaming lol

I THINK ABOUT THIS A NORMAL AMOUNT (all the time) SO. would i survive if i was Dew… short answer: yes i’d basically become best friends with Anton right away because i’m insane.

long answer:

it depends on whether i Knew Anton beforehand or not (about to say the most unhinged shit and expose myself but idc), but either way, if i got kidnapped by a mad scientist who used me as a test subject but actually tried to be Nice to me and GAVE ME FREE TOP SURGERY AND WINGS… I DON’T THINK I WOULD WANT TO LEAVE. THINK ABOUT IT. if there was an autistic trans mad scientist who was best friends with a talking mouse and could give me wings i think i would choose to stay in sci-fi world instead of living on my own working at mcdonald’s and struggling to pay rent (that’s metaphorical, i don’t do that stuff (yet unfortunately)).

and i wouldn’t even be trapped there against my will for long either. i would literally Not last long as Anton’s test subject because the second we become friends and trust each other, he’ll just feel bad about hurting me and literally let me do whatever i want. we’d team up and become unstoppable. i would be free to do my own thing but like, still hang out with him obviously and i’d show him the beauty in the world and change his mind about the whole,, torturing innocent people thing. basically i can fix him. that’s what im saying here.

also not to spoil but Anton’s the type of guy where like, the second he’d form a genuine human relationship with someone, he’d just abandon the whole “kidnapping and (unethical) experimenting on unwilling human test subjects” thing. because there’d be no real point anymore. yeah, science makes him happy but so does having a best friend! and he’d still be a silly mad scientist!! but ethical!! mostly!! we’d team up, abandon the whole immortality thing because it’s stupid, and go hunt down Pierce and kill him!! it would just be fun.

if i was Dew, i would literally scrap trying to escape and instead focus on becoming friends with Anton because that Would Be one of the best outcomes. so yea :3 i may be weird but at least im honest about it (honestly though, i daydream about being friends with all my ocs :( they’re just so cool and we would get along so well. im normal. ignore me). this got long and rambly oops

OH YEAH about if i Knew Anton beforehand or not, like if it was a situation where the Present Me right now, like the person who is typing this and Knows everything about Anton because i created him, then that’d def affect things because i’d have access to all my prior knowledge about his character and backstory. it’d def make things faster and easier because like, i’d know who he is and what he’s capable of, and he wouldn’t be a complete stranger. but if i DIDN’T know Anton and if he was literally a stranger to me and not my oc, then it’d be scary at first but it’d still turn out the same.

i mean you guys don’t understand how deep this goes. before Dew existed, the daydreams i had with the unnamed scientist whumper (Anton) were all just,, Me as his test subject whumpee. i was Dew before Dew was Dew. OBVIOUSLY HE’S NOT A SELF INSERT ANY! MORE! HE’S HIS OWN COMPLEX FLESHED OUT CHARACTER COMPLETELY SEPARATE FROM ME! but that’s just how all my whump scenario daydreams started, and then i got attached and had to make characters and stuff.

this is a hard one i think,, like out of the tllr ocs the actual villain of the story would be Pierce (not rlly a spoiler because it’s pretty obvious i think) but he’s not the BEST villain because i hate his guts (but he’s like Actually evil and terrifying and thinking about him makes me Afraid and filled with despair).

is Anton really a villain? yeah. but i guess i see his character differently than u guys because i know his character development later on in the story, and i know his entire backstory too. so that def chances my perception of him compared to how everyone else views him i think? maybe? idk

6, 13, 22 for Fanfic writer asks 😉

I reblogged that ask post without even reading the prompts lmaoo I just realized that was for organized writers and not little chaotic me 😭

6 - do you have any kind of consistent writing schedule or do you hope for the best?

I'm so disorganized I never even attempted to create a writing schedule. I just write when I have time and feel like it. Whether it's at 4am or 4pm, 50 words a day or 5k idc one bit *whispers* it's usually 50 words at 4pm and 5k at 4am

13 - talk about writing experience that pleasantly suprised you

Hmm idk what to put here cuz nothing interesting rly happens when you're pressing keys on keyboard and trying to shut birbs up so you can concentrate. But here's one of lol moments I had. I was writing some porn per usual and character had to hold their legs stretched up and bent (without supported by anything, meaning mid air) for some amount of time; as biology isn't my strongest suit I had no clue if that's possible for person of average stamina and flexibility so I decided to try it out myself. Unfortunately I bent legs too far too swiftly, rolled over and fell down from bed lmaooo never trying anything again, they're all clamp characters any position is possible with their 2 metersong legs

22 - describe your writing process from start to finish

Brainstorming the general idea, gradually add details into daydream, beg my brain to let me write the skeleton plan, eventually write said skeleton plan, daydream about writing some more without actually writing, start writing a little bit, get writer's block, sob cry die, get an idea for one little thing that makes things perfect, get writers rush and write 5k in one sitting them edit the fic with help of red bull, post that little monster and then mentally and physical recover for next 24 hours - and then another masochistic repeat. Once said rush hit me so bad I managed to write 18k in 4 days, I don't think I'll reach that amount of insanity ever again

Yes, let’s circle back to the beautiful performance of Edge of Great. More specifically the BODY LANGUAGE, particularly Julie and Luke’s, which I will be analyzing with gifs.

Exhibit A

Jealous Luke looks over at Julie and Reggie vibing

Julie is aware that she’s avoiding Luke, which she is doing so bc she realized her feelings for him thanks to Flynn earlier in the episode.

Since Julie has put the task of ignoring Luke upon herself even though she has no obligation to, she ends up failing her own mission. She sees Luke’s reaction to the lack of her attention.

She literally FREEZES. She’s emotionally worried to confront what she’s feeling and it’s beginning to manifest physically.

Exhibit B

It gets better y’all. After Luke finally has even a crumb of Julie’s attention, he beckons her over with his signature head tilt. This is important bc he did this with his longtime bandmate during the soundcheck of what would’ve been their biggest performance. If he feels comfortable enough using that body language with a girl he’s only known for, what, a week and a half(?) then you know this puppy boy’s got it BAD.

Julie is well aware that Luke is getting jealous. But in classic Julie fashion, she will try to tune it out instead of addressing it. Our wicked beauty doesn’t like confrontation and would rather just deny and avoid than potentially make things awkward, especially when she knows Luke would ask her about it at a later time.

The look on Julie’s face. Her eyes widen and the classic tight-lipped awkward smile is present. She’s literally saying “ok enough of that let’s get back to work doo doo doo” with her face. The way her body SWINGS back into performance mode as she faces the audience again. It may have been a split second, but when you’re deliberately trying to avoid looking into the dreamy (dead) eyes of someone you shouldn’t be crushing on, any amount of time feels too long. Plus, she knows Flynn is watching and doesn’t want her to lecture her (but she does anyway bc Flynn is observant and knows her bestie too well to let any action slip past her).

Exhibit C

Keep in mind; NONE OF THE GUYS KNOW WHY JULIE IS AVOIDING LUKE. Flynn, Alex, and Reggie have noticed the Juke chemistry, but it’s still too soon for them to get past the “we like each other but we’re too clueless to notice that we reciprocate” phase, so even though their respective besties know, they are still denying. Besides, Reg, Alex, and Flynn know better than to keep pestering if they want to keep their kneecaps. In reality they’re both smart enough to tell by this point, but for the sake of the plot and to make everything more adorably frustrating, Flynn has the collective brain cell under lock and key, leaving Juke to be like *dog tilting its head and making that “a-roo?” noise*

Anyway, Reggie notices Luke being snubbed after realizing that his extra dose of Julie time was slightly out of the ordinary. Luke is clearly concerned (look at his eyebrows and how his eyes travel from Reggie, to Julie, then to the audience to trying and get his mind off it and bring his focus back to the main goal; the performance.) If he can’t have the moment of connection with Julie that he so desperately craves, he’s gonna fill that void as best he can by connecting with the audience. >:’)

But Reggie’s trying to help Luke brush it off by conveying his reaction as ‘look at julie coming into her own! i told you she was a star! and you thought you were the lead singer? think again buddy this girl’s got you beat!’

But since Reggie isnt a master at hiding his feelings yet, especially around Luke, —who was able to get under his skin earlier (“girls, am i right?”)—Luke was easily able to see through that and interpreted what Reggie was saying as “look at julie go, she all in the zone. you’re literally making heart eyes at her get a grip you’re slacking lmao” (hence luke’s right eyebrow quirking at reggie like ‘dude seriously gimme a break u know i need attention like tinkerbell’) even though Reggie’s true message was a bit less harsh and more lovingly teasing, but it’s Luke, he sees things through his eyes and at his intensity, regardless of who it’s coming from. (This is one of the reasons why Luke comes off as selfish at times.)

Poor Lukey boi can’t seem to catch a break today! Not only does Julie ignore him, then has a cute lil (platonic but it’s luke so it still makes him jealous >:P) moment, but now she has the AUDACITY to interact with Alex? The guy who was out learning Ghost 101 with this Willie guy instead of rehearsing with the band? What gives?! What’s he got that your moody ghost bf doesn’t? >:’(

He literally just watches, and even glances back in a way that, to me, screams ‘did i see that right? did i just see what i just saw with my own dreamy (but dead) eyes? say sike rn.’ \_(*_*)_/

Meanwhile, Alex pays no mind. I like to think that Alex is fully aware that Luke is an angry boy rn, but has learned to ignore it, especially this bc literally NOTHING happened. Either that or Alex has no clue and just truly thinks nothing of it and is having too much fun to think about Luke’s moody and childish behavior. Either way, Alex is just straight chilling and we love to see it *^_^*

Notice how Reggie is right there vibing with Julie and Alex. Luke feels a bit betrayed like ‘not you too! i know you were the first to turn on me but i figured since you’re such a golden retriever you’d be loyal and come back to my side!😠🥲’

Also; Luke approaches the rest of the group, wanting to be included in at least SOME of the vibing, but when Julie starts dancing and smiling with her buddy Alex, he backs up like

“you know what? nope. nevermind. not doin’ it.”

and the group’s like “i mean hey it’s your loss, but luke we want you to-”

“no, bc you chose to piss me off right in front of my face so no luke time for any of you! no cuddles, no hugs, no nothing! you made your bed, now lie in it and perish.”

Exhibit E & F: This is where it gets a bit interesting and theorized hehe...

Now we all know that this moment is just fucking ICONIC

Listen i know you’re probably thinking:

“Well uh Nicole, isn’t that kinda the whole point? It literally wasn’t planned until Charlie realized Madi was gonna be standing on the piano so he suggested the idea for the guitar solo to Kenny.”

And you’re right! But here’s the kicker:

What if Luke THE CHARACTER, just decided to do this as an “Alright that’s it! You wanna be like that? Well what if I just hit you with my super awesome radical totally cool wowza guitar skills & make a moment between us? Huh? What do you think about that? Hmm? HMMM???!!!”

He licks his lips & that to me read** like he was nervous (**read rhyming with bed just to clarify) so that means it could’ve been a spontaneous, spur-of-the-moment thing.

In the second gif, you can see that Julie’s head is tilted, as if she’s a bit confused, but she’s also delightfully surprised.

Julie is quick to smile and scrunch her nose at Luke, something she does often. It tells Luke his impulsive action garnered a positive response from his favorite girl. Julie also starts to shake her head, but doesn’t go through the motion in full, which means she’s still a bit nervous to let her guard down. This is probably because she doesn’t know what he’s thinking or what he will do next. The lopsided smile mixed with the suave, gliding steps towards her probably brought her back to her daydream lol.

Luke’s happy bc Julie’s no longer ignoring him. He smiles like a GOOBER bc this chump is simping HARD for our Julie. So cute! :’)

And hear me when I offer this:

What if Luke poofed the guys out???

I know, I know. It’s a bold claim to make. But the boys are special, considering they are a threat to Caleb (3 gay-variant himbos vs. a gay magician that could’ve been on broadway but decided to make some sort of deal with a devil so he just entertains capitalists who most likely sold their souls to get into the hgc which i will probably elaborate on in a future theory so dont do that bc im gonna lmao idc we all have big brains) So it’s not too crazy to think that they could share some ghost powers.

We know Caleb transported the guys during You Got Nothing to Lose. And the guys have left a place at the exact same time on more than one occasion.

And you may be thinking “well what if the guys poofed out to give juke a moment alone together?” And to that I say...

Look at Reggie. He isn’t looking back at Alex like “dude let’s give them some space.”

The timing of him turning around, at least to me, makes me think Reggie was surprised by Luke approaching the piano. (But also he lowkey was waiting for Luke to prove him wrong by doing something to get Julie’s attention so Reggie isn’t mad. Neither is Alex but he doesn’t like being told how or WHEN to ghost) Luke doesn’t even give his bandmates a warning eyebrow quirk, a hand signal, nothing. Reggie turns to Alex like ‘dude what is he DOING?’ And before he can even really convey that, they go *POOF*

This man had a plan and he was gonna do it, so he did. Whether it’s the power of love, they stopped performing, or Reggie and Alex actually poofed out, the odds worked in Luke’s favor so he and Julie could have a super special moment, a moment special enough to make an actual living person (Nick) wonder if a “hologram” has a better chance at connecting with Julie than he does.

Again, regardless of who made them poof or how they poofed, they mf poofed so Luke’s a happy hamster. (Idk it just sounded fitting instead of happy camper lol wait what if someone had 3 pet hamsters and named them alex reggie and luke🥺 someone buy some hamsters and let me be their godmother or their aunt and i’ll love them from afar.) Anyway, Luke’s thriving, flourishing, his crops are going to grow in time for the harvest.

You can see Julie lean back as she turns to see Luke. It’s... almost as if... She. Wasn’t. Expecting. Him. To. Be. There..??

with the funny answer out of the way... there’s simply no way that i could’ve shipped damira, i am sorry. it’s truly beyond me. nothing about their dynamic charms me or makes me think they’re better or any different than the superior option for a white/non-muslim love interest, aka amiris. i can even enjoy virihugo despite really disliking the way they got together and most of their clips anyway. (also this is a good post that explains why dani being amira’s endgame LI is a bit of a fucking joke)

however, there are a couple of ways in which i could’ve enjoyed damira narratively. and that requires heavily tweaking dani as a character as well of how their entire dynamic works. i’ve made plently of jokes of how i am Not an og purist but, if eskam had chosen at least one relationship to develop super closely as it was in og, then i would’ve wanted that relationship to be yousana. they’re my favorite pair in skam for a bunch of reasons and most of them have to do with yousef being so in contact with sana’s culture. one big example of that is the last clip of episode 9 where they go on that iconic date: it’s both a slideshow of their chemistry and sensual/romantic tension as a couple, and a showcase of the thing that makes me love them the most, which is their super long conversation about faith and their future. to me, those were the moments lacking in damira because they got too caught up on painting dani as this hyper-realized version of a LI which turned out to be a self-congratulatory asshole who disrespected amira in various ways. there were never instances in which they seriously discussed dani reverting to islam in the future, or actually conciliated their visions of their faith to really show where they were in sync and where they disagreed to start working on it. after watching the yousana date clip, i left with the impression that yousef reverting to islam was a real possibility, but i can’t say the same for dani. the damira ending in particular rewards dani for being the way he is, and the worst thing is that amira practically encourages him to never be a muslim because she loves him the way he is (what the fuck!). moreover, he never showed any interest in following amira’s conditions, never tried to familiarize himself with her culture and friends (he took her to a BAR to meet HIS friends but he’s never even shown bonding with las labass?), never really cared about anything that wasn’t to get amira to be physically intimate with him. see, when i think of the yousana dynamic i see the yousef as someone who can read the sana and therefore know what to say and do, not because he only wants to charm her but because he genuinely cares about her. even sofianne showed some of that on the earlier episodes of skamfr s4, but that’s completely lost on damira and dani in particular. and i’m not gonna pretend that this task is possible to do with a white, christian-raised love interest. for this to work, whoever sp!yousef is has to be way more in sync culturally with amira.

a way to partially solve that issue is to make dani be honest to amira throughout the season. i don’t doubt he’s genuinely into her but then he doesn’t communicate her his doubts about the relationships and lies to her about the whole “the only problem in our relationship is the haters <3″ bullshit that he spews out for three entire episodes. moreover, dani being honest from the start would’ve given amira enough hints (red flags) that dani didn’t really take any of her conditions seriously and he was just waiting for her to be less strict about the terms that he agreed on, and maybe there would’ve been a real critique to the character that 1) didn’t make amira look like an “annoying religious fanatic” (which she wasn’t at all lol) to most of the white audience who sided with dani when the relationship started falling apart, and 2) taught an actual lesson to amira about how would a relationship between a white dude who has no intentions to be muslim in the future would go like. i can understand why eskam still left the question pending on the air as they wanted to give amira an endgame and they probably didn’t want to make it seem like muslim/christian relationships don’t work in the slightest when this is the first mainstream show with a hijabi protagonist in spain... but eh. fucking cowards.

if it’s not obvious by now, to me, the ideal version of damira is the one where they’re not endgame by any means, even going to the point that i really dislike that dani even likes amira back. i would’ve really loved if dani stayed in amira’s daydreams throughout the season, where her idealized version of a childhood friends to lovers story is quickly replaced by a more realistic relationship with someone who actually makes efforts to be with her (cough cough bi!kasim anyone?). in that case, dani can be as douchebag-ey as he was for the entire season, idc, but now the show would really acknowledge that and drive the message that amira deserves someone who’s attentive and respectful and genuinely loving of her. and hopefully say that without making it seem like it’s impossible for muslims to date non-muslims: more like, it’s unlikely for amira to date dani in particular, and only because he clearly has no interest on following on the things that she values the most - which is a message that applies to every relationship, honestly.

if i had free reign on completely redesigning dani’s character and the damira dynamic, then i would make dani way more understanding and have his clumsiness be acknowledged and criticized instead of both the characters and the audience using it as a justification time and time again. he’d show genuine interest in islam, he’d thoroughly discuss boundaries with amira to assure that they’re both comfortable, he’d made sure to safely insert himself on her spaces and not just drag them to bars and basketball courts on every date, they’d have SO many conversations of faith that truly make him a nuanced character and also help flesh out the reasons of why amira loves being muslim. which i think are just ways of dani respecting amira’s agency and showing genuine interest on her besides his initual infatuation, as all the other endgame LIs of the show have done it. i’d completely erase the stupid “uwu islam won’t let me kiss dani/viceversa” plotpoint from existence, for SURE. with all of those changes i would be neutral on the existence of damira as i am with virihugo, i think. but also the thing that truly holds me back is that... just, the lack of characters of color in the show. with the way kasim was only used as a plot device and dounia was written out off her best friend role very early in, we truly don’t even have a significant presence of muslim people of color in amira’s season. whitewashing yousef is a big part in that too, and that’s why people were so eager to believe that kasim could’ve been amira’s endgame for this season.

💖 Have any of your WIPs helped you through a difficult time in your life?

Hmm.

Unlike my characters, I don’t really have a tragic backstory or anything, I’m kinda your average joe and all that. I will say that it tends to really help me to have something to work on, to focus my mind on, when I’m going through something stressful that nothing can be done about. My brain is kinda trash when it comes to dealing with certain emotions, so daydreaming scenes or stuff with my characters helps to get me out of those~

I mean, there’s also the whole fact of the matter that I know it’s all going to work out well in the end. Yeah, OSS has a happy ending. Most of my projects do. I enjoy hope in the face of a world that does all it can to stop that!

🧡 When a friend or family member in real life asks you about your WIPs, do you feel comfortable talking about them?

I kinda already answered this on my reply to your own! But, some elaboration~

Okay, I suppose that wasn’t really good elaboration. Writer friends, people who actually understand that there’s gonna be a lot of darkness and weirdness, some romance and a whole lot of queerness? Yeah that’s fine, I love having full on rants about my wips in front of them! ( @waterfallwritings can vouch for this. I am SO SORRY, MY FRIEND. AH)

But many of my friends (and especially my family) would either be really worried about my mental health or something, or like... yes I do have transphobic/homophobic friends and family, it’s trash but I can’t do anything about it. The only reason I’m still on good terms with them is because it would be absolute hell for me if I wasn’t, since I don’t have the ability to avoid them. What can you do? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

WOW i love sam & abby !!! everyone always talks about seb & abby’s friendship but henlo they’re SLEEPING on this combo?? conceptually they have such differing aesthetics and in some ways their personalities kind of clash. like even though they’re both silly, sam is way more outgoing and friendly and easy to talk to whereas abigail is a little bit of a shut in … hard to have a convo with at first … doesn’t have the highest confidence in the world … lowkey stage fright … etc. IT MAKES THEIR DYNAMIC SO INTERESTING bc they get along so well.

can u imagine the slowburn between these two. LIKE be it platonic oR romantic, bc either way it’d be a slowburn. haley doesn’t trust people and thinks they’re kinda beneath her in pelican town, whereas elliot is more of an open book who gets along with the other residents? he’d prob be perceptive enough to pick up rather early on that haley is kind of lost and actively just looking for reasons to hate where she is instead of trying to find smth to be happy about… which means her attitude would be likely go right over his head and he’d be able to put up with her, which means… very slowly… she’d start to warm up to him and the more he reached out to her, the more she’d start reaching back

ok i’ll be honest shy girl / jerk guy is a bias … esp since chase isn’t REALLY an actual jerk so much as he’s just a sarcastic deadpanned dead inside daydreamer i’m sobbing. with someone like candace, he’d actually have a bit soft spot like. he’s mean to girls like maya because they constantly tap dance on the last good nerve he has, but with how nice and Soft™ candace is, i can see chase literally being SCARED OF UPSETTING HER LIKE KJHNMKHJNM. there’s a line he won’t cross when it comes to being rude to people, and candace is on that line

i spent all night thinking about how i was going to answer this, i won’t lie to you. ahhhhh feels. if kaidina somehow got married ideally it would be bIG AND EXPENSIVE. with cristina’s upbringing and kaid’s somewhat complimentary uptight pretentious character, their wedding would have the best people, the best music (piANOOOOOOOO), the best caterers, best food, you get the point. cristina and kaid would also want their wedding to be memorable the way you remember the wedding of icons. since she loves music that would definitely play a major role in the theme and itenary. ig that means they’re at a reception huh. maybe they do a song together idk. i don’t think he can sing but he can learn pianooo and in this imaginery hullicination i like to daydream about, cristina sings while he plays even tho she is the pianist OR they can just play together idc. is this tacky? anyways. reception. big. beautiful decorations. tech worthy. that’s kaid’s input. lMAO. probably has all these cool gadgets for weddings that havn’t been invented yet. i went to a wedding a few weeks ago and it was SO intense. they started with this guy on a trumpet solo playing 'the business’ x as the entrance song for the bride and groom before they walked in and it really hyped up the crowd and that is something that would happen for kaidina. also smoke. confetti. bullets. i joke.  funny how even if he did live none of this would even happen LMAO bc we got a band of outlaws. ahhhhuhuhuhuhuuh.  realistically, if they had a wedding, it would be a small thing just between the olympians. they would end up wearing the dress and suit they stole LMAO thats what they get married in :’) it would be funny if it’s so rushed and like on the run. ok next.  wedddding cake. would be big and probably have one of these x decorations i saw on tumblr the other day whatcha thinking? it would be the take ‘ya garbage out’ one just bc.  it has to have many layers and they have to cut it together <3 and laugh and kaid swipes a bit of cream on his finger and pokes cristina’s nose and she is like D: grabs the whole cake and smashes it on him true luv realistically, they get no cake or brook last minute whips up one that no one wants to eat or maybe they do. it’s his belated bday cake tooo so next to the congratulations it says happy bday 

with both of them big in denial of their luv (classical enemies to lovers trope teehhee) idk who would make the first move. imma say kaid just bc he will be big simp and he knows he is dying so is like thinking he has to make the most of their time together. he probably keeps the ring with him for a long while before proposing. idk like he would buy it being like YES LETS ASK AND MAKE THIS OFFICIAL BEFORE I DIE FOREVA and then he would feels bad bc now he has a repsonsibility to be there with her and if he doesn’t have long it’s too selfish to expect her to say yes and is this character growth maybe so but if this happened then dumbos can :’) be great friends and im emo rn bc this wouldn’t even happen. maybe he’d buy the ring but never got to propose cos aise BUT HE WAS PLANNING TO FOR A LONG TIME AND ADAM AND JOON KNEW and cristina finds out like D:::::::::::: i coulda been married.  anyways if he did go ahead with it and actually propose it would probably be really blunt and awkward at first. think talon being like “she’s pregnant” like no beating around the bush. like typical mid convo just going down on one knee and saying “will you marry me” :) yo they could have been arguing about something petty and his vibe just changes and he seems distracted and then spins around and proposes and she is confused bc were they not just fighting? then they can do this bc for some reason he has it on him and it makes sense x. 

when the alter happens, ideally kaid would be waiting at the end as cristina walks down with her dad and he is just uwu for her and breathless and lose all Brian Cells TM realistically, (sadge i have to answer all this 2ce :pensive: ) one of the olympains would walk down cristina. i feel like it’s cute if all the girls do bc everyone so excited OR if you don’t like that, bc cristina’s best friend was thea it could be symbolic if tristan walked her down. but that means in rp they’d have to get more close. 

cristina strikes me as expensive but simple. like yk for decorations and colour scheme and flowers? it would all be expensive and great quality but it would be elegent and no overly flamboyant cos that can get too tacky. i see them sticking to just white, and maybe one other colour like flushed pink or blue. basically pale, elegent and simple colours. bouquet is the same. white and elegant.

VOWS TIME WOOOOOOHOOHOOHHO  kaid would talk about how even though he is meant to be the smartest man, he was such a fool for wasting time and not cherishing every trial and experience they shared together. he wouldn’t get too wordy or descriptive bc pride, but his eyes would say it all too. there were many things he regrretted (say killing thea) but cristina was not one of them and we would promise to be there for her even though she deserves more than what he could offer.  cristina would probably slap him playfully for being an idiot :’) joon and kaid can hoot and then kaidina kith and they hoot louder 🤷‍♂️

aise is just a little teeny bit late to the wedding brook gets lost and zoe has to ride her motorbike to pick him up so they are also late.

idk how wedding works but all olympians are in the bride/groom parties. specifically adam and joon are best man (i know there is supposed to be one but there are 2 now bc they dumbos and need to bounce off eachother) and cristina’s side is the gorls uwuwuwu

bride and groom side all have to understand the memo and match colours and theme and yes adam and joon wearing same suit thank you thats what i want. 

joon will probably do a speech LMAO on behalf of both parties. feel like he would make a lot of teasing jokes at kaid and embarrass him and talk about how considerably long it took for him to propose for being such a ‘smart’ man and how he knows kaid read books on marriage and how to be a husband and in a relationship and THEN adam jumps on the stage shoos joon off and makes a speech that gets everyone to cry bc lets face it: adam knows everything about everyone so he can make them cry. 

zoe catches the bouquet. no question about it. 

wedding photos are boooootiful and elegent and professionally done. definitely touchy forehead photos. they even get a wedding video. 

kaid and cristina crying LMAO it’s hard to tell who breaks first. i think with kaid, once it processes that he is actually married LIKE HE IS MARRIED he’d start getting teary and red eyed bc he knows he is sick and he is scared that they won’t have long together but he is grateful that they have this at least and he would worry about cristina and how she would be when he is gone and just that lost future, and if they had kids, he’d get sad over the kids he wouldn’t get to experience life with and yeah. 

dumbos get drunk together FOR SURE  i can actually see them going crazy on dance floor together holding their drinks. at one stage adam and joon lift up kaid on their shoulders and just jump up and down with him and they all happy. it would be so dope if dae was the best dancer. like imagine that, imagine him with his walking stick just bopping like the new michael jackson. flo would also get drunk and would definitely drag cristina drew and mia to the dancefloor. all olympians loosening eachother up uwuwu. brook and zoe are dancing together and in sync to the beat zoe’s face is shapeshifting. tristan is eating food.  for kaidina’s dance it’s the typical slow dancing with the soft music and the eye gazing and the spinning and the fog and the candles and the flames. and kaid holds her up fs fs on the chorus. this is the song x teehhee it’s so cliche ik, but i am a certified simp alternatively i love this song also x i think second one matches their dynamic more

their rings are cute. i don’t know what else to say. i feel like he could engrave latin in hers or something HAHAHA bc show off his latin skills idk. it would say te amo. i mean he would show off more latin :/ but he on limited space here UNLESS he gets tristan to make the ring :) and bam it’s a hidden astronomical ring (yk the ones on etsy that pop out into a ball) LMAO and he can write her hidden messages in it omg and she doesnt find it till like after he dies and the ring falls on the floor and it pops open and she like uwuw

favours is easy. kaid gets joon to hand out little self help books. most of them are actually dictionaries, but some are called “Denial: Self-Deception, False Beliefs, and the Origins of the Human Mind”, specifically.  i joke again. cristina reminds me of like having that beauty and the beast rorse theme. because it’s just an elegant look. so these things are cute x. kaid will probably sneak did you know facts at the back of the card, unique per invite. 

their honeymoon is at a beach house just because i think they’ve had enough of caves and forests and polluted air. like imagine a private beach and like the fresh sun overhead and pushing each other into the water :)

the memorable thing that happens at the ceremony is that kaiden gets so flustered he doesn’t even realise he said something gramatically wrong. cristina can correct him and never let him live it down. who knows he probably said dumbos should go on a six way date 😋

i feel like if anyone were to officiate the ceremony it would be adam just bc in my head he has that authoritive figure that can get everyone under wraps but also bc he is the therapiss, remember.
