a helpful salve for feeling like you have failed for not being fully formed by the age of 30 is to hang out with elderly people because they are literally constantly starting new hobbies and making new friends with whom they form insane codependent friendships. half the women in my neighborhood became toxic ARMYs at the age of 65 and now they harass each other into watching mvs and kill each other over biases. you can do this too. you can become a new and more exciting form of unhinged at any age.
