Martin being a mechs fan headcanon is so funny to me.
He either listened only to the songs and skipped every song that has a monologue from Jonny. Or listened to them a long time ago and never ever he thought "huh... my new boss kinda sounds like Jonny D'Ville and his name is also Jon... what an odd coincidence."
It's even worse if you hc that he actually went to their concerts because like... now he also looks like his boss😭😭
#/pos btw#hcs are for fun you do not owe anyone explanation of how it works if you just wanna have fun#this is not a critique post in any way#tma#jon sims#martin blackwood#tmagpod#yoki thoughts

yeah u can put "i hate jkr" and "fuck terfs" in ur tumblr bio but. can u listen + reflect when a trans woman criticizes hp fandom without immediately getting defensive.....
#if a trans woman says 'my firsthand experience with hp fandom is that it's transmisogynistic'#in what world is the correct response to get angry at her and demand that she reassure u that not EVERYONE is transmisogynistic in fandom..#like either a) u have not been transmisogynistic in which case...just keep scrolling#or b) u have been transmisogynistic in which case. u should take such posts as an opportunity 2 reflect on ur own behavior#and whether or not a or b applies to u is a personal evaluation for u 2 make privately#but EVEN if u feel the post does not in any way apply 2 u. it's still good 2 reflect!!! we are all participating in a fandom#that is tied inherently 2 a virulent transmisogynist#the least we can do is be vigilant in our personal circles + spaces abt transmisogyny.....#also personally. i think trans women can say whatever they want about hp lmao#especially on their own personal tumblr blogs that u can very easily just block if it's so upsetting 2 u....#anyway. valid critiques and criticisms of hp fandom exist + part of being in this fandom in 2023 is accepting that imho#txt

I wonder if the discontentment some people have with their gender stems from the contradictions in expectation for their gender.
I mentioned this in passing, but as a man, I've found there's this simultaneous expectation to be hyperindependent and hyperindividualistic while also being concerned about if the people around you accept your masculinity or manhood. It's an interesting paradox to both be expected not to care but also to care so deeply that it alters how you see yourself. It's the contradiction of hyperveneration and hyperscrutiny and, even, hatred of manhood.
This isn't even touching on the intricacies of nonbinary and intersex experiences with the way people enforce these (cissexist) contradictions of what you "should" be.
#gender#queer#lgbt#lgbtq#i find it funny to see people critique these ridgid and contradictory ideas of gender with the idea that it proves trans people dont exist#if anything the hyperscrutinization of all gender to the point that trans people 'dont exist' is a symptom of exactly what i mean#at the core it isn't about a set of ideas but more like a set of rules that will be enforced through any means necessary#and in that way trans people often face the brunt of that force#i know i've faced that sort of attitude by general society even *pretransition and pre coming out*#and obviously not all trans people share in that experience but it also is not an uncommon situation to have had#shoutout to my phone for softlocking itself and deleting this original post#see like i'm also not binary (also not nonbinary) but i functionally live as a binary man irl which is why i speak as a man versus as a man+

see my take is that i dont condone caits actions at all however she matches vis freak too much to not ship them in my eyes. and also i feel like the show wanted to give more depth & time to cait's "redemption" arc but it was so rushed that we never actually got to see that arc of cait realizing the consequences of her actions. i think its something thats implied to have happened off screen given the way caits already challenging ambessa but we never got that backstory so we dont actually know what was going through her mind or what led her to change her mind about ambessa.
#this is all to say i think caitvi critiques are valid and me shipping them does not condone my support for cait#i just think they look too hot together to not be together#and i also fully think that cait regretted everything she did we just never got to see that due to the rushed writing#also one thing i see is 'cait has been classist since day one' which isnt a lie#but also the person i saw who posted this was like 'even as a kid' and its like#i think the main point of this show is that so many of the younger people (jinx vi cait ekko etc) are products of the environments#they grew up in. which isnt to excuse caits actions but shes obviously grown up thinking this way about the undercity#but we also know that in s1 she really started to change her mind about the undercity!!!#which again brings me to the point of how the writing was rushed because s2 honestly just threw her entire s1 arc away i think#like fine i can understand shes angry about her mother but she changed her mind up about the undercity SO fast. like almost comically fast#which felt so werid to me#so i guess tldr is that i just think the show wanted to show caits arc but the writing got too rushed to achieve any of that in a#realistically timed manner#arcane#caitvi

jay not asking coach about letting lonnie onto the team bc he doesn’t want to do anything coach might disagree with…….
#‘coach trusts me…’ like what if i cried#man i wish they made more of a thing of jay being TEAM CAPTAIN#<- i’ve made a post before abt how easily he gives it up & jay not liking positions of power etc etc#but i do think he treats the role like it could be taken away at any moment#coach TRUSTS him. holy shit coach trusts him#the first positive adult figure in his life trusts him to take care of the team#train them and critique them and lead them to victory#and coach probably wouldn’t have cared abt lonnie being on the team#but jay is sooooo hesitant to ask#coming from the ‘if you want it take it and if you can’t take it break it’ guy#like this is the one thing he doesn’t want to risk breaking…….#and then obviously he gives it up!!!!!#he gives up the thing coach TRUSTED HIM WITH bc it was the only way to let lonnie on the team#& mr ‘my only dislike is women being unhappy’ was like I CANNOT REST UNTIL LONNIE IS ON THE TEAM#it’s suchhhhh a sweet gesture not only from a hashtag feminism standpoint#but also character wise for jay#like this precious thing that coach has trusted him with but didn’t really want that much anyway…..#it’s going to mean more to lonnie if she had it. even though it means everything to jay#oh it makes me crazy#damn my mum was right. i think too deeply about things#im like i analyse things a normal amount and then i’m writing essays about 1 line from descendants 2#I AM UNWELL#anyway. jesus christ#descendants#jay son of jafar#EDIT i’m not finished actually#do you think jay fears the repercussions? what would happen if he went against coach’s word?#bc sure. he knows coach is nice. he knows auradon isn’t like the isle#but. ‘you don’t want to be at my house at dinner time’…….#he is still scared of his dad. you know. he can never get the lamp he can never do anything right

I will forever maintain that Jason would've been fine and Not a vigilante without Bruce making him Robin
#''bruce never recruited any kids for his mission/war'' falls apart immediately when u consider jason's backstory im ngl#jason todd#my dc posting#his whole character to me is breaking the conventions of the medium#batman#like i hate how ppl treat others like theyre ridiculous when they even dare to critique bruce in any way#i am capable of suspending my disbelief and accepting some things in fiction as okay even if they wouldnt be irl#its the viewers responsibility to meet stories whre theyre at#but its also the story's responsibility to upkeep that yknow?#''child/teen sidekicks are okay n not morally dubious'' okay :D yay :3#then one of them gets brutally murdered by a villain and im like. yeah uhh no. cant do that anymore 👍sorry#''they all became vigilantes on their own bruce couldnt have stopped them'' yall under the impression bruce hates kid heroes n wants them#properly safe n is just doing damage control/harm prevention#when hes more the lines of encouraging them#difference between ''i cant stop u from doing this so ill make it as safe as i can'' and#''im actively going to encourage you to do this dangerous thing''#i have many opinions n im ngl theyre constantly shifting n they depend on a lot#im not gonna hate on lego batman for robin thats a goddamn childrens movie who tf gives a shit#comics are fair game tho. have u seen what gows on in there.#bruce couldve stopped jason from being a vigilante n instead encouraged him is the hill i will fucking die on#the victim blaming of jason has Got to stoppp its the worst thing ever#also just to remind everyone. Is CloverWorks entirely at fault for TPN S2's mangled production?
I see so many people default to blaming CloverWorks for being the sole arbiter of S2's horribly disappointing production (sometimes Shirai is added into the mix too, especially by anime-onlys), but every time I do I'm genuinely asking the question of whether that's true and where they're pulling their information from.
I'm not involved in the animation industry at all so I'm interested in receiving input from people who are more familiar with it, but my understanding is the people in charge of the decision to truncate S2 would be The Promised Neverland Committee listed at the end of the opening credits.
(I could not find a single video of the English dub that aired on [adult swim] for the English credits of S1, so a screencap from the Japanese credits)
TPN Committee is comprised of the following entities: Aniplex (Distributor), Fuji TV (TV Station), Shueisha (Manga Publisher), Cygames Anime Fund, Dentsu (ads)

(Sources 1 | 2 | 3)
kViN from Sakugabooru details what a production company is in this post:
"I personally find it enjoyable to see who is involved in a show, and as you’ve seen there is plenty of information to draw from that. Animation production studios are listed in the credits for each show, so it’s understandable why audiences would imagine they have a ton of influence over a production. It’s even natural to think that the company that is actually manufacturing something would have great input! If you start paying attention to these committees though, you get a clearer picture of the finances of production and how each show is actually made rather than assume that studios that often don’t have much of a say are in charge of everything."
And CloverWorks is the more prominent name, especially for English speakers watching the subbed version of the series.
This is also something that Geoff Thew brings up in the last seven minutes of this video around the 18:50 mark:
youtube
"I'd bet good money that the last credits were supposed to roll right after that big stone door slammed shut, and I'd further wager that a combination of fan reactions to and dipping ratings for early episodes is what caused the production committee—who are the ones who actually have final say in this, not Cloverworks or even Shirai—to cut their losses and turn that cliffhanger into a skeleton of a conclusion."
I disagree with him on them making the call to retool the series during the clipshow episode between S2e05 and S2e06 though. It doesn’t seem like they had enough time to do that when a single episode of animation takes on average nine months to complete, even with the ridiculous crunch they seemed to be in. My guess is it was made back in early 2020 after Shirai made everyone involved in production aware the manga was ending that year, with the pandemic potentially factoring in to a degree.
He also mentions this a bit earlier:
"It's just such a slap in face to anyone who ever gave a shit about any version of this story. Including the people telling it, apparently, since neither of the anime's screenwriters nor mangaka/series composer Shirai wanted to take credit for the last two episodes. They probably didn't have much say in how it all went down. That's important to keep in mind before you start yelling at animators or even studios on twitter. I guarantee that every adaption that hurts you personally was ten times harder on the people who actually had to make it. As hackishily slapdash as this finale is, a lot of people probably slept under their desks to get it out the door, if they slept at all."
I always come back to this tiny addition toward the end of S2 episode 2 as an indication that on the creative side of things, in storyboarding and animation at CloverWorks, the care was still there at some level.
It was just squashed down in order to cut and condense 146 chapters into 11 episodes for a production that, as ZersEditor puts here, was "bleeding money."
But CloverWorks is less to type out, so they get the majority of the ire over a tragically butchered production in casual conversation.
#The Promised Neverland#Yakusoku no Neverland#TPN#YnN#約束のネバーランド#約ネバ#Kaiu Shirai#CloverWorks#TPN Committee#FSS Chatter#TPN S1#TPN S2#TPN S2e02#Long Post#I'm not trying to portray CW as a saint of a studio because again I'm not involved in the industry so I don't know all the nuances to it#and this production of theirs is the one I'm most familiar with‚ with the other one being S×F for comparison#and like Ruby's pointed out in another post I can believe they're complacent in the lightening of skin tones for characters of color#as part of a larger industry-wide trend which is still shitty and should be critiqued#but I don't think they're the only ones guilty of this#so it kind of deflates me a bit when I see people comment on my posts taking a dig at CW#because it feels like a pithy comment of misdirected ire when the body of people actually at fault#get to continue on with their business of utilizing stories as investments to build up portfolios#instead of any genuine interest in a series' story or artistic merits#so then I kind of zone out even if I agree with the spirit of the sentiment of grieving over a series you care about#like “is it their fault? is it? are we talking about the same thing/on the same page here?”#tbf people are probably making more productive use of their time than I am#after delving into this for a sense of personal closure on how S2 turned out the way it did lol#but if anyone has any further reading on the subject or personal insight and feels like sharing I'd be interested#either in CW's favor or against

hiiii no one asked but pt 1 of a billion to my last unicorn au where marc is not a unicorn it will be marcnaia but not u gotta be patient im sry. anyways intro ily
about 1.3k
Casey sighs as he and Enea step carefully through the loose, winding path the forest grants them. They had been looking for a viable lake to fish at for a while, and despite the beauty of the greenwood that surrounded them, Casey knew this was not the place for them. It is far too quiet for comfort, Casey thinks, far too peaceful for him to truly enjoy—he is quite a modern man, as he considers. The trees stand tall and foreboding but plentiful and lush; the ground without leaves or brambles—not a prickle of snow has seen the ample soil beneath them—each blade of grass stands just tall enough to tickle the hairs on Enea’s naked ankles; each critter and creature they saw met them with curiosity and childlike wonder but leaving enough distance where Casey would not have to prevent Enea from taking something home; the birds sing sweet melodies into their ears, each note seeming to lead them closer and closer to where they would like to be; and Casey gets the lucky remnants of delicate and decadent speckled fur in the corners of his eyes—bright specks flitting in his vision to-and-fro.
Casey puts his hand on Enea’s shoulder, forcing his attention from the beauty enveloping them. “We must look elsewhere, Enea. This is no place for us.”
“What do you mean?” Enea’s eyes sparkle as he asks, mesmerized by the twisting leaves in the reaching branches above them, shining sparse but angelic light onto the two—kissing each curl on Enea’s head and spinning them to gold.
“There is magic here, my friend, learned slight by those that dwell in the cerval’s forest.”
“Cerval?”
“You are too young to have seen one, Enea, for the one here is lone in this world.” Casey declares, looking into the deep brush of the forest, where two bewildering moon-slit eyes follow him intently; he knows better than to stay here now. “We must think better than to fish here, lest we remove the world of any more magic.”
“Tell me of it, since I have not seen one—not heard of one,” Enea pleads with shining eyes, his boyish charm much more apparent now than even when they first met those fair months ago, in a small pub far from where the sun sets on them now. “Tell me, Casey.”
Casey hums, feeling tiny, near minuscule ants crawl up his calf with no care, and he grants them such privilege. “My great-grandmother—maybe even great-great-grandmother—told my mother, who told me, of her meetings with one. It came to her, rather than her to it—as most seem to do—and–”
“Did she capture it?” Enea’s voice trembles slightly.
“Of course not, dearest Enea. She simply sat near it, with the barest of a smile upon her lips to perhaps bring it close to her, and it did. It laid its head in her lap and licked the small sprouts of blood that flourished from her hands, healing the cuts that may have wounded her. Then it fell asleep, bringing her along with it—she only woke when she found it had gone, leaving her clothes barren of blemishes and bruises.”
“What did it look like?”
A smile floats onto Casey’s face. “Its eyes reflect the moon, and its fur is as soft as a well-loved cat’s.”
“Where did they all go, my love?”
Casey shrugs, his face flaring from the title Enea bestows him with. “Things change. There are things greater than us that haunt the Earth—it is no place for grand creatures such as he.”
There is a pregnant pause from Enea, bare of his usual thoughts and questions and mistakes in his speech that Casey finds ever so endearing. He looks around the forest for what they both come to know will be their last, the floral air kissing him sweetly. “Yes,” Enea says, determination set on his brow. He adjusts the rod and bag that lay upon his back, taking deep steps into the forest floor as if running towards the outer world beyond them. “Yes, let us fish someplace else.”
They reach the forest’s edge quickly—the blinding eyes following each move with careful precision—and Casey turns towards the poor creature, knowing its presence despite his decided lack of vision about it. He frowns as his voice cracks on his tongue, teeth clicking together reluctantly with each word.
“Do not leave here, dear wolf, for the world out here will ensure your end; keep in your forest, keep it lush and bright, with each creature protected by your grand stead—for no other can do as you do, for you are the last.” Casey can feel his eyes fill with salt and glistening pity. “I wish you luck, my friend; beware of men and girls that will only become bitter, old, and silly.”
The two take their leave, their packs full of nets, rods, bait, and gear gone along with them, and the cerval wolf’s gaze falls from them with a slow, dreary sadness. “Is it true?” He asks the forest he habits, his voice hoarse and crackling from disuse—it would frighten him if he allowed himself fear. “Am I really all that is left?”
He does not prance like the deer that follow his horrified sprint. He throws himself to the ground, twisting and crying in the dirt and gravel, biting at his tail and bowed legs for some poor sense of comfort.
“How selfish they all are!” He growls through his mournful yelps. “My brother, my beloved brother! How could I live if he has left me, too?” The sprawling roots and sagging blades of grass hug at the poor creature’s shivering and solitary bod. The cerval drags itself up to lay by the river bed, its water akin to a mirror—clear and unwaning—if the pitiful beast had ever seen the latter to compare the two. He weeps once more, his tears mixing deep into the minute waves that come from the small waterfall nearby. He takes a drink, kissing the surface of the water with his speckled fur and padded nose, only to replenish himself of the tears he lost so he may start anew.
The heavens fall to darkness, the only light coming from the moon and stars shining through the trees’ fair leaves and branches overhead, and the heart-rending wolf has stayed in its tragic state for—to him—what felt like days. “Maybe,” he thinks out loud to the fish beneath the quivering ripples of the river beside him, “maybe I am to leave this place. What do men know? I could find them with ease, with pride. I am a great beast like no other; men tremble before me, and thunder calls my name—it would be with great ease, yes.” He swats at the brown trout taunting him from below, catching one by pulling it to the edge—where the water and soil meet in hopeful embrace—lifting it with his claws and peering at the poor thing with deep, bright, curious eyes. “Or maybe I should stay,” he concedes, pushing the rather dull trout back into the glistening waters. “I cannot really leave.” He stands to walk the river’s stream. “If I am truly the only one, I cannot leave for selfish reasons as they all have.”
He laughs to himself, “The forest will make fun, they will make me cry on return, and I will never leave again.”
“Yes,” he decides. “I will not leave. There is no possibility for it.”

just saw interstellar in imax. love this movie so much. literally any critique of it that i see just shows that the person critiquing it didnt actually watch the fucking movie or havent seen it in ten years and think they remember it perfectly still
#‘why didnt they just not grow crop monocultures’#are you fucking stupid the whole first act of the movie is about how theres a disease that infects all living plant life#and year by year it completely eradicates crop by crop until corn is all that they CAN grow#and even THEN corn is still set to go extinct within a few years too#‘why do they have to leave the earth instead of saving it’ bc they HAVE NO FOOD#you can critique WHY the movie necessitates space travel over saving the earth. like why its written that way#but any critique of the setting that leads up to the space travel in te form of ‘why didnt they just do x’ is so stupid#especially when all those other options were already discussed in the film itself !!#anyway and dont even get me started on the 🤓 erm actually nerd physicsbros who hate this movie because#OHHH THE TIDAL FORCES ON MILLER’S PLANET WOULDNT BE THAT EXTREME#THIS RUINS THE WHOLE MOVIE FOR ME#FUCK OFF!!! have you even HEARD of artistic liberty BY GODDDDDDD#would the tidal forces be that strong? NO. DOES IT MATTER WHEN IT MAKES AN ICONIC CINEMATIC SCENE? NO !!!!I#its science FICTION. FICTION !!!#brot posts#or ‘the movie literally proves itself wrong because they fixed the earth in the end without needing a new planet’#ARE YOU STUPID. THEYRE LIVING ON A GIANT SPACE STATION#THEY STILL HAD TO LEAVE THE EARTH TO SURVIVE.#or the physicsbro who hate on the wormhole paper analogy scene because oh thats such a cliche analogy#i'll admit i always kind of agreed. i thought it was a necessary evil because these are high physics concepts for most audiences#but upon rewatching it now? i realize it was not an analogy to explain wormholes. they literally admit in the scene that its a cliche#bro literally uses it instead as an analogy for DIMENSIONS. he says the common wormhole analogy presents wormholes as 2d holes#but we live in 3d hence a 3d hole is not a circle but a sphere#he literally does not use it as a tired cliche analogy for wormholes he uses it as an analogy for dimensionality !!!!#all you bitches who throw these critiques around havent even watched the scene you're critiquing !!!

ok don't get me wrong, i love the disney+ show and while I haven't enjoyed all of the changes, I have liked or at least understood a majority of them
but i'm so sad that all of the changes pretty much cut out how purely childish and twelve the trio were in the book
like i understand the changes, they do make the plot feel less like the series of coincidences I'm beginning to see the book as
but i miss them going to aunty em's because they were just kids who wanted something unhealthy to eat and staying in the lotus because they just wanted a bit of fun
i get it makes sense for annabeth and grover to figure out aunty em is medusa and the lotus casino is related to the lotus flowers but I'm so sad it meant sacrificing them being dumbass little kids
#pjo#pjo disney+#pjo disney+ spoilers#not really any spoilers in this but just in case#i've learned by now comparing the book to the show is only gonna lead to critiquing every little thing that's changed#and i'm not trying to do that in this post#but there's something so fun about a 12 year old character actually feeling 12 and that's something rick had really captured in the books#in the tv show they feel like kids because their actors are kids and they are acting like children#but the book portrayed them as children in a way that i don't think many other middle school level books have#like both versions of the trio are adorable but they're adorable in very different ways yknow#people have been talking about the 'drowned in the bathtub' line a lot#and at this point i wouldn't be surprised if that line isn't included#little sad about it but again i understand the changes

Hate to be bring negativity but i wish everyone arguing about bucktommy vs buddie would go to twitter
#im so so sick of going thru the tag to get hyped for the upcoming episode only to be bombarded with posts talking about how#buddie shippers did this bucktommy schippers did that#and a most cases it seems like theyre talking about something said on twitter anyway so like.. great. keep it there#both ships are good! they have different dynamics that work in their own ways! if you like one better or less thats fine#and most importantly that doesnt make you any better or less than someone who enjoys the other ship more#i just want to enjoy celebrating and theorizing and and headcannoning and everything fun in fandom#even critizing! well thought out critique is great and fun to engage with! even relationship comparisons are good!#but the way some of you guys choose to ‘critize’ and compare… go to twitter#sorry for the rant. like i said i was just trying to get hyped and im so sad my joy was slowly crushed post by post

okay so like. mymusic is about internalized transphobia. right. we can all agree on this. right.
like, i know that curtis's arc is meant to be allegorical for coming out as gay, but it makes a lot more sense for him to be trans, which means that the music genre(s) you like are akin to genders in this universe, or at least at mymusic.
following this logic, flowchart doesn't like music, making him nonbinary.
which two employees does indie resent the most? flowchart and nerdcore, both for their inability to conform to his rules of music taste gender. we know that indie puts a lot of effort into being a proper impassive hipster, which theoretically he shouldn't have to if that was truly who he was (not to mention that he does this to please his father, which, oof.) we also know that indie can envision himself becoming a nerd, which is specifically the subculture/stereotype most explicitly presented as being "trans."
#rachel rants#mymusicshow#one of my coworkers (l) is writing a story rn#and she's been bringing in spinets of it every week for another one of my coworkers (a) and i to critique#and it's about this princess whose father wants her to marry the king of a neighboring kingdom but she doesn't want to#so she runs away to follow in her late mother's footsteps of being a witch#and all the witches are unwed women who live out in the woods together#and the men in power in this society fucking hate them but there is a certain level of pride that comes from “taming” these witches#and taking one as a bride despite their magical past#and anyway. at one point when reading this i just started autoreplacing any mentions of these witches with “lesbians” bc. well.#and the other day we got to the part where the main character properly confronts this man she's betrothed to and she tells him:#“i doubt you'd want me now. i'm a witch.”#and i told l that i fully read that as “you wouldn't want me bc i'm a dyke”#and a was like "you know when you're in english class and there's always that one person who says every story is about being gay?#“i feel like that's rachel”#anyway. y'all after this post#btw i'm deffo not that way about every story i just call it like i see it

"you can't put alicent in a mother's day asoiaf comp because she's not a good mother and that's okay :)" but you have no problem with cersei fucking lannister in it when half her affc chapters are just about how abysmally she fails as a mother to her children so i think you're just a cunt
#personal#anti hotd fandom#'um cersei loves her children' yeah so does alicent#but you're not gonna convince me that cersei is a good mother#it's like a huge part of her that she kinda can't be because of how narcissistic she is and all her other issues#she loves her children yeah but she's way too permissive of them#(which leads to disaster like we saw with joffrey)#and she can be downright cruel to tommen to keep him under her control (cuz she doesn't want him to die yes but still)#if alicent can't be in something as inconsequential as a fucking mother's day post because even tho she loves her children#(and has to deal with a much more precarious political situation and her extreme youth when she became a mother and no support)#then be consistent and acknowledge that those same critiques also very much apply to cersei#(personally i think that cersei is more of a Bad Mom than alicent for a wide variety of reasons)#(but i don't restrict female characters to their roles as mothers cuz i'm fucking normal)#honestly you can make a case for rhaenyra not being allowed on any good mother list either because of her lies about her sons' parentage#and how that actively contributes to making their lives difficult and screwing them over and also her war leading to their deaths#anyway today is my day to be absolutely petty about fandom bullshit that doesn't mean anything cuz man sometimes team black pisses me off#it's just another version of those 'i wish alicent was the evil hag bitch from the books that i totally loved i swear' disingenuous bs post#'it's okay to admit alicent is a bad mother and bad person guys' yeah it's okay for YOU to admit you just don't like the character#big 'we loved cersei for the villain she was even tho we actually all hated her guts and harassed lena heady about it' vibes tbf

I changed my mind. Hater behavior is undeserved, when it comes to works, & idgaf about holding creators accountable when their games are mid, anymore.
#em.txt#now i only care about how you treat your workers tbh#so there are still series i hate. but now I don't want to be mean to people who put time & effort into making shit#this is about post shift 2. people were too fuckin mean to Rjac for a game he made for free#& as a bitch who loves that game a lot i see your criticisms i understand. but you're not gonna be mean to him abt this#that fucking teen that held that interview & told him he needed to be held accountable for his mistakes. god#he made this shit for free across four years. what can happen in four years? what did he work through?#to deliver you a free game. even if you don't fucking like the game if you invite a creator on to talk about their works#you don't fucking talk to them the way uyeah did. shit was cruel & uncalled for.#this game is fucking good but it's forever going to be burried as a game that's complicated with weird tutorials#ps2 is fun. you should try it. if you don't get it -- ask. I'll answer any question at any time#i will vc you i will write a text doc -- whatever you want. more people need to experience this fucking game#it's compelling in a way few games are to me.#i can homestly only compare it to rain world but not for a reason that's overt & easy to explain. more in how it feels to play#rather than what you do.#man. idk. i gotta learn how to talk about shit i love without being mean now#this started because i was talking mad shit to my friends & it asked me to stop because i was downtalking something she loved a lot#& i realized this isn't fun for people. i thought we were having fun but tbh? I'm just a mean negative bitch#& that's not fun. that's mean.#i have to redo this character arc from when i was 13 because i guess I didn't learn it the first time around#cynicism doesn't make you funny or cool. it makes you mean & unfun to be around. finding kind things to say is tougher.#if you can present your criticism nicely then maybe you can criticize too#but that alone does not a good critique make & it definitely don't make you fun at parties#listen. i am still gonna be a bitch. but i am going to be less of one.
