Every time I see someone earnestly say that Carver hates Hawke, I have to exercise such restraint to not scream.

Every day I get closer to writing a deep dive about him because that's my guy. He's so interesting. He feels so much. He tries so hard when talking to the other companions and some of the dynamics he has with them are so good. He can be so fucking funny and sweet and awkward. He so badly wants to be wanted and appreciated and to protect everyone he loves.

Dr. Ratio may or may not have something to do with Amphoreus, but the similarities are obvious and undeniable (the aesthetics, baths, all these conversations about spreading knowledge, and so on).

These similarities should be obvious to the Trailblazer too, right? Considering that we are canonically in a good relationship with him, there is no way we saw everybody wearing sandals, togas, and golden laurels, and it didn't remind us of a certain someone.

So when the dust settles a bit, I would at least appreciate a remark about this. Or maybe even sending him a message asking about his connection to Amphoreus.

Thirteen: Well, I've told you about my time when I was still a apprentice reaper, right? It was christmas season and Candy and I were in the human world. Believe it or not, there wasn't much work at that time, so I was bored out of my mind. I took advantage of a moment when she was distracted to go for a walk, at one point I couldn't help but stare at the Windows of a store that sold christmas stuff, I couldn't help but stare at the snow globes, I thought they looked pretty. It wasn't long before she came up to me angrily, "You don't know how much I've looked for you," "You know you're not allowed to leave without me," "What do you think would happen if people found out you're not human?" Ugh... I can still hear her nagging in my head. I guess she realized I wasn't paying attention, because without asking me she went into the store and bought a snow globe and gave it to me. In my opinion, there were prettier snow globes than this one, but Candy isn't the person with the best taste out there.

Ok so update on the whole 'in the french translation of bg3, every npc, from companion to foe to lover, uses "vous", the polite pronoun for "you" that you usually use for like teachers, elders, colleagues you can't stand...ect... Giving it all a feeling of every person you surround yourself with keeping you at arms length'

Well I have found ONE (1) exception to this and I'm baffled ???? Tav's guardian angel uses "tu" ?????? Meaning it's a *choice* that everyone else uses "vous" not a weird translation ????? WHAT
