AMAZING!!! I'm a huge fan of both wing!kink and the underage romance trope, and this hits the spot. I read this from when it was a WIP (on chapter 12), and it was so worth it.

This was so sweet and charming I'm going to cry. Castiel's gentleness and pure heart is really explored in this fic, and I LOVE it.

Said list kept growing and growing as I decided to start sorting my fics.

So what should I do today? How about the fics I ALWAYS re-read when I feel like I just need something familiar and oh so delicious? Would that be okay? Fics that I never hesitate to read again? Note that this list will probably change in a few months’ time as I re-read newer fics I’ve recently bookmarked; if I’m in a certain mood, a fic will get added and another removed, LOL. In fact, I’ve had this sitting in my drafts from quite awhile before I finally posted it, LOL. Waited a week, because my “feels” kept changing, HAH!

I have WAY more than 30 of these, but I had to stop somewhere! So here’s the criteria for these ones today:

A story set somewhere else.

Starting off with a bit of a silly one, this is a multichapter Statement fic that I swear if only Jonny himself would voice it would make it complete. I can actually hear their voices when I read this fic, whoever wrote this nailed their general voices to a T. On the other hand, this is crack taken seriously with a heavy emphasis on “the boys be doing shenanigans to their alternate universe selves”. The whole series is in the same vein and if you're looking for the most ridiculous post-200 jonmartin action/fluff.

But the Capitol holds more than death; something entrenched in its core, a secretive president, familiar faces and new bonds, and a flicker of hope.

So, really great slow burn, if unfinished atm. I am waiting to see where it goes, if they decide to do a series or not, but as it stands it's almost done and as expected for a Hunger Games AU, really heavy on the angst and h/c. Still some really good Jonmartin moments tho, so I def give it a high recommendation.

“Ow, fuck!”

Liam’s shout makes Isaac drop his hammer and hurry over to Liam’s side. Liam is sitting on the floor next to a half-assembled Ikea cupboard, sucking on his thumb and glaring at his own hammer lying next to him innocently.

“Did you hit your finger?” Isaac asks, kneeling down in front of Liam, and checking that he isn’t seriously injured anywhere.

Liam nods, pouts, and mumbles around the thumb still in his mouth:

“It hurts and it’ll probably turn black and blue and my nail will fall off.”

Isaac bites his lip to hold back a grin, but doesn’t even try not to roll his eyes. It’s definitely not the most sympathetic response, but he’s pretty sure his boyfriend has an ulterior motif for all of this unnecessary whining. And sure enough, the corners of Liam’s mouth are turning up and by the time he pulls out his thumb with a wet pop, he is outright grinning.

“Kiss it better?” he asks and Isaac rolls his eyes again but ducks his head down to kiss his boyfriend’s thumb. It doesn’t even look hurt anymore; there’s just a faint red discolouring around the nail that’s disappearing even as Isaac looks at it.

“There, all better,” he says, grinning at Liam and then leans in to press another kiss against his blushing cheek and whisper into his ear:

“Did you forget that you’re a werewolf?”

I was wondering if you knew of any really long fics (like 25k or more) that are only one chapter, I travel a lot sometimes and some places don't really have good enough internet for multi chapter fics. Anyway, so yes, I can definitely rec you some fics! BUT I should also offer you two suggestions you can totally do to read ANY fic!

On Ao3, you can click on the “Entire Work” button to load ALL chapters of a fic (it’s the very first button along the top) and in turn you can then just read it all there!

And the very last button along the top, you can Download copies of the fic to your phone or computer with eBook file types (AZw3 for Kindle, ePub for iPhone’s Books app, and MOBI is for other mobile devices and e-readers), the HTML if you want to read it as-is in a web-browser, or the PDF format which is a universal file format that is supported by everything, even web browsers, so it’s a good one to download if you don’t know what format you need :) If you read on an eReader, though, I can’t recommend enough just downloading the format for your device. You get to keep a copy of the fic AND the eReader keeps it nicely formatted. It’s a BRILLIANT, BEAUTIFUL feature that Ao3 gave us, because I like downloading all my fics and read them later in iBooks. Once you start that, Nonny, you can’t do it any other way. AND at the VERY END of the fics, it links BACK to the original post so you can bookmark, kudos, and comment on it!! <3
