I still can’t get over this last chapter I love this story so much , I cried over it

I don’t know what to say definitely gonna reread this story again sometime it’s literally been a whole journey and it was worth it that ending and the fact that u had it in mind since the beginning is just amazing, I wanna know ur thinking and writing process during that last scene , the protest and the birth scene playing simultaneously and the way u wrote it was just perfect , how u captured all that chaos , I was literally on the edge of my seat reading it ur writing making me feel many emotions all at once I don’t know how u do that

I started reading this story mainly for EM not really thinking much since it was the first work of urs that I stumbled upon but I was wrong , the way u treat various subjects , how u did every single character justice and wrote about their struggles , if I could write an essay about this masterpiece of a story and how it deserves all the recognition i totally would but this is when I curse my limited English vocabulary, also the fact that u have such dedication and how every time u deliver a 20 pages chapter for each update with the outmost of perfection is worth talking about , no wonder this process must have been stressful , yet u still outdid ur self every time and wrote the best ending for this story can’t imagine it any other way .

I’m so glad that I stumbled upon RJ it’s been a long time and I can’t believe that it’s over ,this story left me with a book hangover and a void I don’t know how to fill , nonetheless I’m glad I found it and even though we won’t get new updates anymore who knows it might be ur novel that I read next in which I wish you the best of luck with and for ur original writing as well , I know it will be outstanding and I will definitely read it if u choose to share it with us , u deserve all the recognition , success and happiness in the world , I can’t thank you enough for your contribution and for choosing EM out of all the fandoms in the world to bless with ur mesmerizing writing and presence, thank you so much dear , and take care of yourself 💜

About the ending, I'm actually thinking of doing a post about how I conceived it! Because I had it thought in the beginning and the last sentence changed over time, I think it would be interesting to talk about it, but at the same time I don't want to give a lot away because I really like the idea of how I did it hehehe I'll just talk, in the post, about how I came to the ending and decided to change the sentence, but for you: everything in the ending was pointed out to make you breathless as a reader, so it was important to maintain the rhythm, hence I relied a lot on the different chunks and sizes of the paragraphs. The last chapter has four parts: the Eren/Mikasa resolution, Levi/Erwin breakfast, Friends gathering/Deciding what to do, Protest/Birth. In those four parts, only the first two are "traditional" narrative. The third relies on the bodies and the plurals, and the fourth relies on the difference of rhythm... (Well, maybe I'll do a post, yes!).

...I am almost tearful about what you say in delivering pages and following the story through. It's been stressful sometimes, but god, I absolutely love writing. And there was also a sense of reward every time I got a comment. So I didn't write for the reader, but I definitely knew that even if I got one comment or one kudo more I would be happy. If I didn't, I would have been happy anyways—some chapters more than others, because I'm prouder of some of them—but I think the beautiful thing about fanfiction is interaction, so whenever I felt strained, I decided to keep on pushing.

BOOK HANGOVER??????? that's... amaziinngggg! if you want to read a very good book, give "Tomorrow, tomorrow, tomorrow" by Gabrielle Zevin a try. I have not felt that compelled by a book in a LONG time!

WEAKNESS VERSUS STRENGTH by Rogue Solo. Listen here folks. This is A VERY SPECIAL REC. Of course Andromeda wasn’t as popular as the previous ME games. And though most people chose Peebee as the wlw option for female!Ryder, the romance with Suvi was super cute and wholesome. But this fic right here? This masterpiece?! RED by waldorph — A wonderful study on Natasha, closer to the comics than to the MCU. Maria is also more comic-inspired. And it’s just so wonderful.

A HILL CALLED HOME by BadGoose — An unfinished retelling of the MCU with Blackhill, a lot of comedy, a wonderful and teasing slow burn and better plot than the MCU itself. Updates regularly.

Wonderful friendships the MCU didn’t give us like T’Challa and Nat. Food. Therapy. A special kind of series and, with time, a classic for its own merits.

Sometimes I feel like my writing is a bit bland and boring, which I’ve said before. But at the same time I keep telling myself that’s just baseless doubts of myself. Which you are proving right telling my imagination is playfully beautiful and sharp. Which Im going to reread this post when I start to doubt myself.

Now onto the fic, when I writing just a little drunk on you. I was thinking of a world where Suguru didn’t go off the deep end, Au idea, everyone gets therapy.

I feel like the best set up for a poly ship where you become their friend and Suguru being the direct one and not being scared of commitment would date you in a heartbeat. Then Satoru has realizes that he has huge feelings for Suguru which he expected. But you that’s as a harder pill to swallow. Satoru would be a bit toxic in showing that he is jealous towards you since your with Suguru.

Suguru would that down since he would be able to read Satoru well. And he can see that Satoru is just feeling left out. He also knows you see the white haired man as more than a friend which is why upsets you that Satoru doesn’t like you. I can see Suguru trying to gas light you out of believing Satoru hates you.

Satoru after a while figures out that you think he really hates you. So he fails it back, he accepts that he is hopelessly in love with Suguru and You. And that soon enough the two of you will be married while he goes from partner to partner trying to find within what he sees in his two best friends.

I’m going to stop here because I don’t know where I’m going with this I’m just rambling about satosugu which I’ve been sadly neglecting in favor of other things on my blog. Those two together are one of my favorite ships with my other favorite being Eremika. And I love to imagine a world where both ships get to be happy together and if I just so happy to slip a third member in there because happy non jealous poly ships that everyone makes sure they get proper attention is just uggggh 😫😫

I adore how you broke down my fic and told me just about it that you love. When people point out certain parts about my writing they like I always get so excited I feel like imma explode in a ball of happiness.

There is no one in this world that could tell me that Satoru wouldn’t talk to your pussy. He hears it getting loud and sloppy for Suguru and Him so he just has to. Even if this means a personification of your pussy as he attaches she every one in a while. Satoru would mainly want to talk to you and your pussy when you haven’t said the safe word but your crying that you can’t cum. “Do you hear your sweet pussy? She is just begging for more.”

Also reader who encourages Suguru and Satoru to love on each other because she could tell that Satoru has feelings for Suguru. And you would give Satoru more chances to be dominate which with Suguru mainly taking that dom role for yourself it leaves Satoru and You as subs a lot for him. Suguru would love seeing his two favorite subs working together for his praise.

Oh yeah Satoru just helping himself. If he walks in unless you tell him to leave if he likes what he is seeing then he will test to see if he could join. And Suguru and You look too beautiful making love to each other.

Say that I was to make a part two to just a little drunk on you. I could see Suguru wanting Satoru and You to fool around in front of him but he would make both of you edge yourself until he joins. What is something Sokka only ever did and does with and for Azula? I'm not talking about his love but an act. The hairdoing question was because I like the first time he does Azulas hair lots It is a particular thing and the imagination him only doing Azulas hair is individual. I did not ask because of jealousy rather of particularity. I can't find anything he only did does for with Azula

... Right. So, in about 200 chapters worth of story, you haven’t seen anything Sokka has exclusively done for Azula? I... do advise you read more closely. But if you don’t want to...

Represents her as her personal fighter, at first because of their deal, after their relationship blooms he does it because he’s 100% devoted to her in every way that counts. To him, their bond is one of a kind and he does his best to grow stronger so he can continue to fight with and for her, so she may be granted all the respect she deserves. He outright rejects being sponsored by anyone but her, and even when they had no choice but to have Zuko sponsoring him (chapter 56), Sokka said it wasn’t the same because he wanted HER. So her role as her sponsor is one of a kind for him, and he absolutely would never have that kind of bond with anyone else.

Protects her with his body whenever they’re falling off places, something Azula has remarked on more than once. He takes the worst of the impact every time, shielding her however he can. To this day, I’m pretty sure he hasn’t done that with anyone else? (chapter 38, chapter 77).

He opened up to her when he was troubled (chapter 50), sharing some of his innermost turmoil and suffering, letting her help him when he usually would rather not burden anyone else with what plagues him. Further proof of how deeply he trusts her, enough to start putting aside his bad habit of bottling up his troubles for her.

Refused an opportunity to go home AND reconnect with the first person he truly felt comfortable with in the FIre Nation (Piandao), choosing to stay by Azula’s side instead and protect her from people who would most likely harm her (chapter 54).

Nearly killed two gladiators whose sponsors were attempting to marry Azula against her will (chapter 70, chapter 169).

Put aside every shred of his dignity and accepted all punishments Azula forced on him, enduring everything because he thought he deserved it for wronging her (the ENTIRE Rough Rhinos arc).

Gave her the better portions of food during their accidental trip through the forest (again, Rough Rhinos arc) AND saves food for her (chapter 124), meaning, prioritizing her needs over his own. We all KNOW how much Sokka loves food, Azula more than anyone, and the implications of him not eating so she could have more were pretty clear regarding how much she means to him, as far as I can tell.

Cooked for her, sometimes to catastrophic results, but he still tried :’D (chapter 131, chapter 151 to a fault).

Writes haiku for her, and it’s SPECIFICALLY STATED that he only manages to complete proper poems whenever he’s writing about her, as everything else he writes he leaves incomplete or adds too many syllables (chapter 38, chapter 104).

Controls his strongest impulses very often when it comes to physical affection throughout Part 1 (namely in Ember Island and Giving In arcs), always privileging her needs above his own. He’s willing to stop before outright penetrative sex in chapter 97, for Azula’s benefit, and only goes for it when she directly asks him to. Her comfort and happiness are the priority, not his own.

Embarrasses himself willingly just to make her laugh (I’m sure there are many possible examples of this, but right now I can’t find them, but I found one instance of it in chapter 130, at least).

Challenged a nobleman (Kuan) for behaving disrespectfully towards Azula, by dismissing her interests and choices, yet Sokka restrained himself when Azula demanded it of him (chapter 36) and accepted the punishment Kuan forced on him without further protest or causing any more trouble for Azula.

Looked after her when she was sick, no matter if she was really mad at him at the time (White Lotus Attack arc).

Cheered her up after the first ball in the Festivals, after listening to her personal plight with Admiral Zhao (chapter 94)

Offered to teach basic swordsmanship to a kid so that the kid’s father would be on good terms with Azula, helping her craft stronger political allies (chapter 133).

Defends Azula constantly before anyone who may try to undermine or insult her (outright punched Zuko for saying thoughtless things about his sister in chapter 64, lashed out at Iroh for talking shit about her in chapter 95, attacked Rhone as soon as he spoke against Azula in 114 and threatened him in 160).

Comforts her often whenever she’s troubled, especially in matters pertaining her parents and the unpleasant strife they’ve caused her, both in the past and in current times (Ember Island arc, The Fire Nation Festivals arc, The Fire Lord’s Shadow arc). He’s also not judgmental, doesn’t tell her what to think, he mainly listens and helps her deal with her conflicted feelings.

Gladly agrees to change their original deal so he can stay with Azula for good instead of returning to his family, as he intended (chapter 107, Whaletail Island arc).

CRAFTED A BETROTHAL NECKLACE FOR HER??? :’) (chapter 131)

MARRIED HER. TWICE (Return to Shu Jing arc). I mean... really. The very logic of marriage says it’s something absolutely special you don’t do with just ANYONE? And they certainly live by that logic, completely. That something so obviously unique to his relationship with her happened so recently and yet you still sent this ask is... weird to me. Very weird.

In a slightly more intimate note: Sokka has never slept through the night with anyone but Azula. He has never woken up with someone beside him other than Azula. She’s literally the only one he’s ever done that with, and the only one he ever wants to do it with. Started in chapter 64, has happened many, many times since.

Endeavors to become a better painter because she inspired him to keep trying. They’ll start making collaborative art together starting in chapter 201 :’) and in 221 they will make a veeeery special artwork that’s basically their masterpiece.

Climbed a volcano to find a flower to give to her as a token of everlasting love? (chapter 125) :’D

Nearly died at the hands of Jeong Jeong’s schemes all be it to stay loyal to Azula (also chapter 125).

Got her a Fire Lily in the Festivals, something no one else had ever done for her, cultural connotations of it demand I single this out because it’s a big deal in the Fire Nation, he’s never done that for anyone else and never will (chapter 146).

Constantly asks for her lychee wine, her favorite drink, whenever they go places. The fact that Azula’s heart seems to grow twenty sizes every time he goes out of his way to find her perfect drink should be pretty telling...?

Overworked himself to make her dragon’s perfect armor as a birthday gift for her (Azula’s birthday arc), then still managed to win a fight for her sake despite his body was in bad shape.

Told her being without her feels like sleepwalking through life, waiting until she’s around again so he can wake up and feel like himself once more (chapter 86).

Offered his services and support in helping in the fulfillment Azula’s dream of offering women in the Fire Nation bigger opportunities and roles to make a difference in the world, by training the Enforcers in swordsmanship (Whaletail Island arc).

Accompanied Azula throughout her investigation in The Fire Lord’s Shadow arc, offering her all the support he could in that endeavor, day and night if need be, no matter how dangerous things got he was always there with her.

Trusted Azula so much he allowed her to BEND THROUGH HIM :’) I can guarantee that there’s no way anyone else can do that with Sokka other than Azula.

Sneaks out of his house, or his cabin, to spend nights with her whenever they can afford to, seen all throughout Part 2.

Changed his entire worldview to understand hers, just as she changed hers to understand his. Developed genuine empathy with someone who should have been his enemy, and saw through her to understand her humanity, something NO ONE BUT HIM had done before, and something he’s certainly not willing to do for many people he started out hating, or that he hated at any point in time (literally seen all through the story).

So... 33 items not enough yet, I wonder? Then stick around. The last arcs of Part 2 pack more than a few punches and many unique Sokkla interactions and situations that MIGHT just serve for you to finally see that their bond is actually one of a kind? Despite I’m pretty sure the story that already has been published proves it completely already... but I guess you may have gone too long witthout reading it in full detail? Eh, whatever the reason may be, you can see for yourself there’s a ton of unique things Sokka and Azula have only done with each other.

I remember when I first got into Berserk, around 2017, my friend had convinced me to try Bloodborne despite being pretty put off by dark souls. I found it too frustrating at first, it was challenging for me mechanically and I kept hitting barriers and not knowing how to progress. I was doubtful that I’d enjoy Bloodborne, but he thought that I’d enjoy it more, mainly because of the world, design and tone of the game, and he was right, I loved it, and subsequently the mindset I learned on how to approach bloodborne made playing through dark souls much easier, and I was able to appreciate that a lot more. He then recommended that I check out Berserk, a cool series that has had a lot of influence, especially on soulsborne stuff, like the skeleton wheels, classic, and I thought sure, I’d heard a bit about it before and I enjoy reading manga a lot, though my friend wasn’t a manga reader, he had only seen the 1997 anime.

When I first read the Black Swordsman arc, I really thought “I’m curious about the world and story, but I’m not sure I could like Guts, he’s just too much of an asshole for me to like, I’m not sure how he can change that would make me like him” and now I want nothing more than to see Guts get the happiness he deserves, and see him smiling again.

I had no idea that Guts would become one of my favourite characters of all time, a unique and complex character with so much depth and who has struggled through a difficult and dangerous life that has left him scarred. But he still stands. Seeing almost all of Guts’ life, a hostile and threatening world from the very beginning to the joys of the golden age, his most pained and darkest time, and then his slow but gradual progress to once again find companionship and share his path with others, and grow beyond his past self.

And my love of Guts is only the tip of the iceberg, never have I read a story as powerful as Berserk, and I think many would agree when if I said it was a masterpiece. Kentaro Miura was such an incredibly talented artist, writer and storyteller, crafting an exceptional work that would be widely influential, inspirational and insightful for so many reasons, something so fantastic in vision with incredible spectacle and designs, but also with such personal themes that it resonates with so many us. I’m truly heartbroken at Miura’s death, such a tragedy when an artist dies before they can finish their life’s work. In a message from George Morikawa, he says that Miura had the ideas for Berserk from when he was 18. It is terrible that we will never get to see Miura’s rendition of the ending, however, of all the places for Guts’ journey to end, things could be far worse off. Things aren’t perfect, the future is uncertain and there will be struggles until the end of our days, but with our friends we can still make progress, and even if it can’t offer resolution, Elfheim can give refuge, and give our characters a well needed rest in their journey.

I know I’m not the only one who was moved by Berserk, it changed how I view myself and helped me realise just how powerful stories can be, and each of us find our own joy in reading it. Reading it changed my life, as it has for many of us, and in memory of Kentaro Miura the least we can do is keep struggling onwards. Rest easy, struggler, you deserve it.

Re-watching Lizzie Mcguire: Episode 2.8 (Inner Beauty)

Miranda and Lizzie making detention fun

- Gordo wants to expand his filmmaking repertoire and so, he wants to shoot his own music video for the song, ‘Us Against The World’ by Play, starring his best friends, Lizzie and Miranda whom are both practicing their dance moves in Lizzie’s living room:

“Britney, Britney, Janet and J Lo” vs “ Brtiney, Janet, Janet...”

- The both of them then take a snack break to which Gordo get all concerned about because he thinks they’re not taking his new venture seriously. Relax Gordo, there’s nothing wrong with taking a break lol.

- In school the next day, we see Miranda being upset about getting a B on a recent Science test. She basically feels like she’s coming up short, which I can totally relate.

- To make matters worse, she now thinks she’s fat after looking at the stills Gordo took of them from rehearsals the other day. It’s sad to see her nitpick every single body part on that photo. Anyways, it’s pretty clear what direction this episode is going to take and what issues that are going to be tackled, which are body dysmorphia and eating disorders. I definitely have my own personal opinions regarding how Miranda’s storyline was handled in this episode but I’ll save it for the ‘Overall Thoughts’ section.

- Lizzie and Gordo are clearly shocked to hear how negatively Miranda views herself and she also declares to them that she’s going on a diet.

Crash Diet Woes

- At lunch, Gordo notices that Miranda isn’t having anything to eat. Miranda gives the excuse that she had a very heavy breakfast in the morning. Even after Lizzie tries to offer her some of her own lunch, she strangely acts like she just got a paper cut and has to go to the bathroom to run her finger over cold water. Girl, we know you’re not a good actress...stop it!

- After leaving in a hurry, both Lizzie and Gordo are even more concerned now because it’s obvious that Miranda is forcing herself to go on a strict diet. Lizzie even points out that Miranda is not that kind of person to starve herself like that.

- After school, Lizzie and Miranda are going through another practice session and this time around, they’re showing their moves in front of Lizzie’s mom, Jo. Jo is super impressed with the girls and asks Gordo if she can be in his MV (music video) too. but he kind of indirectly shot her down lol. But worst of all, she was trying to act all cool despite being disappointed about being turned down:

- Anyways, throughout the rehearsal, it’s very apparent that Miranda is starting to feel woozy based on her facial expressions. Despite this, she still insists that she and Lizzie continue practicing. Big mistake here because a few seconds into their next run-through, she becomes lightheaded and drops to the floor. They all rush over to help her up and they ask her what’s up. Miranda lies again and says she had a really heavy lunch when she definitely did not. Lizzie is definitely concerned about her best friend’s wellbeing.

Defensive Miranda

- Some time after Miranda’s fainting spell, Lizzie and Gordo are discussing what they should say or do with regards to Miranda’s problem. Well, it’s mostly Gordo who’s talking because he’s not giving Lizzie any chance to give her two cents. But I got to say this; It’s unfortunate that Gordo thinks that just because Miranda is a girl, he feels like he can’t talk to her about the issues she’s facing with her body image. As her best friend, I feel like he should at least hear out what's going through her mind. But again, I need to remember that Gordo is just a teenage boy and he can’t help but to feel awkward in this type of circumstance.

- Next, we see Lizzie at the mall with Miranda to shop for new outfits for their upcoming MV shoot. As I’ve predicted, Miranda feels dejected going through the rack of clothes she thinks she won’t look good in. Lizzie tries putting things into perspective with Miranda but she just gives off this nasty and defensive attitude towards Lizzie.

Again, what’s with the attitude?

- Lizzie decides to come clean and be honest with her best friend by saying that she’s making a bad decision by going on all these crazy fasts. I generally feel like what Lizzie said to Miranda was appropriate, especially after reminding her that they’re best friends and she should feel comfortable being able to open up to her.

- Miranda is just not having it with Lizzie and says something really passive aggressive and in the end, she just storms off. I feel like being Miranda’s friend is exhausting at times.

- At home, Lizzie is feeling down about what just happened and she explains to her mom about the problems she’s facing without revealing Miranda’s identity. Poor Jo first thought that her own daughter was the one with body image issues. Also, who is Lizzie fooling when she tells Jo that she’s talking about a friend? It’s pretty clear that this friend she’s referring to is Miranda lol. Well, at least to me it would have been obvious.

- Well, Jo is just as shocked to find out that the person is actually Miranda and she freaks out about it some more after connecting this to the fainting incident in their living room a few days ago. Luckily, she calms down and tells Lizzie that if the situation doesn’t improve in a few days, she will have a sit down with both Miranda herself and with Miranda’s mom. Daniela.

Opening Up

- It’s the day of the actual music video shoot and Miranda surprisingly shows up. Gordo tries apologizing to her for the comment he made about her eating too much but Ms. Sanchez is still upset at him for who knows why. Lizzie then steps in and apologizes to her for butting into her life and her issues at the mall. But she also tells her that she’s very concerned about her wellbeing and it’s actually scaring her. Aww poor baby.

- In my opinion, I feel like Lizzie doesn’t have to explain her concern over Miranda. I think it’s very obvious that Lizzie only has good intentions. But I guess sometimes it’s good to break it down to the other person who is going through the motions. Fortunately for all three of them, Miranda opens up to them about all the issues she’s facing at school and the pressure she feels coming from her parents regarding what she wants to do in the future.

- Because of the overwhelming pressure she’s facing, she feels like she needs something in her life that she is able control, which are her eating habits. I think this is a very common feeling to have amongst people who suffer from eating disorders or body dysmorphia. And I like how Miranda explains that it’s something that she really feels deep within even though it doesn’t make sense on paper. It’s just how our brain works really.

I wonder if that look Miranda is giving to Gordo is a good one or a bad one lol

- Lizzie explains to Miranda that she relates to her struggles as well because she too, feels pressure to fit in. Even Gordo shares the same feeling for being non-muscular and probably short lol. She then reassures Miranda that being her best friends means that they will support her through this no matter what. And in the end, Miranda thanks them for having her back. I'm glad she came around lol.

Rock those flips Hilary!

The teacher definitely has some moves of his own too!

- The episode ends with our favorite trio watching the fully-shot iconic MV of Miranda and Lizzie dancing incredibly and looking amazing together at the same time. But most importantly, they look healthy and happy.

B-Plot: Matt’s 5687th Career, An Artist

The resemblance is uncanny

- In this episode, Matt’s storyline centers around him being an artist, to which his school apparently thinks he’s a very talented one at that. They notify Jo about his ‘newfound talent’ and she wants to nurture that in him. I can already tell this whole plot is going to be campy. At least Sam is questioning this whole thing:

“Sensitive? Matt eats mud!”. ICONIC

- We then see Matt creating a portrait of Lanny in the backyard using the splatter paint technique, if I’m not mistaken. As expected, he makes a mess outside because he got his paint all over the patio, the plants and even Lanny himself. I don’t get why Jo is encouraging this given all the shenanigans he pursued in majority of the past episodes. But most of all, I wonder who is the teacher at his school who thinks he has this talent? I could be wrong though; He might actually have a gift....

- Later, they decide to take Matt’s work outside and both Matt and Lanny are now going through pieces of junk outside to see what can be used for his next masterpiece. I smell disaster in the horizons for sure.

- And I was right! The Mcguire home is ridden with all the trash Matt and Lanny brought home with them from the junkyard. Jo and Sam sees this and they are just shocked. But I’m very surprised to see that Jo is still trying to encourage Matt. I thought she would put her foot down by now.

OK. This should be the trigger lol

- Matt pretty much butchered poor Sam’s car. Jo finally sees that Matt has crossed the line (when she should have reeled him in days ago) and tells him to stick to creating art on paper. This boy needs to be restricted, which come to think of it...it’s not really an appropriate word to use given the main storyline of this episode but I’ll just leave it at that lol.

Overall Thoughts

- I feel like this is the first episode of Lizzie Mcguire so far that dealt with a very serious topic, apart from maybe the bullying situation Matt was facing in the season 1 episode, ‘Sibling Bonds’. Episodes like this one really stood out to me over the years till today because it was mainly on an issue a main character was facing both physically and internally. And it had nothing to do with relationship drama or girl drama. So naturally, the episode was very memorable.

- In terms of the execution of Miranda’s eating disorder storyline, I had issues with it but I also have some positives to say. Let’s start with the negatives; I just feel like the show kind of made it seem that Miranda’s body image issues went away within a week of it popping up. You can see by the end, Miranda was happy with how she looked in the music video. In fact, she was even praising herself. And that’s just not the reality of most people’s struggles with ED and body dysmorphia. These things just don’t go away so quickly. That being said, I definitely don’t think Miranda had an eating disorder based on what I’ve seen in this episode. But because things are shown through the lens of a children’s TV show camera, things might not appear to be so clear cut.

- But I could view them having showed the viewers that Lizzie and Gordo having Miranda’s back no matter what means that they will continue to be there for her in case the issues she’s facing do come back. Moreover, I wish that the show would’ve added a separate conversation between Miranda and her mom or at least show Jo talking to Miranda because I think including adults in this would add more seriousness to the situation. Again, this is a TV show that is targeted towards kids and young preteens. So, there’s bound to be some problems here and there.

- As for the positives, I recall myself pointing out earlier in this review that Gordo should feel like he should be able to talk to Miranda about her issues. And so, I’m very glad that he was included in the scene by the school staircase with Miranda and Lizzie. If it were just the two girls, I would honestly be upset because Gordo is supposed to be Miranda’s best friend too and differences in gender shouldn’t dictate the conversations best friends should have with one another. So, that made me feel really glad.

disclaimer: art is subjective, so are people’s opinions, and my choices are based on my perception of the boys’ personalities. you may not agree with me, therefore the paintings might not correspond to what you had imagined… still, i tried to shed a light on my own thoughts, which is something i rarely do on tumblr — i tried to remain as objective and positive as possible!

+ louis —

louis is so fiercely good! supportive, loyal, brave… i’ve never seen someone so witty and intelligent, caring and sensitive. louis shines, louis sparkles!!

but he also tells stories like no else. it is truly fascinating how louis can turn the smallest life experiences into masterpieces!! the raw emotions he’s able to convey in just a sentence: we’re sleeping on our problems like we’ll solve them in our dreams…. it’s easy getting lost into louis’ ocean blue eyes but it’s even easier falling for his talent — through storytelling, louis always shares a positive message and i’m in awe of the way he goes through life despite everything that’s been thrown at him. passionate and driven, louis is authentic and unapologetically himself!

i decided to associate louis with gustav klimt — the artist received a conservative and classical training and began his career painting churches and theaters, following the traditional and historical style popular at the time. quite similar to louis’ mindset at the start of his solo career, klimt focused on what the upper class expected of him! however, he kept developing a more meaningful personal style. one that relied on symbolism and the extensive use of the ornamental gold leaf. his paintings were highly decorative and it is the aesthetic of klimt’s work that made the connection so easy ♡

gustav klimt painted many women in erotic positions, embracing their nudity and a celebration of sexuality, which was controversial at the time. but more than that, the artist depicted loving embraces, abandonment and passion. tenderness. and by coating his paintings in golden powder, klimt created a warm cocoon around his subjects! 1. adele bloch-bauer I - 2. judith I (details) - 3. le baiser (details)

louis is so often associated with the color yellow and it’s easy to understand why — yellow is the most luminous color and is the symbol of happiness, optimism and enlightenment. as a warm color, yellow represents light and creates a sense of hope: it is radiant! gold shares many of the same attributes. it is bright, cheerful and is often associated with love, courage and passion. gold illuminates our world and so does louis!

+ zayn —

zayn is very creative, expressive and imaginative. i’d say he’s cautious and overall very intelligent about his privacy! society will often describe quiet people as mysterious, and it romanticizes anxiety in a way that makes my blood boils�� it’s a dangerous culture where people with mental disorders are seen as edgy or cool when in reality they are deeply misunderstood. at times defensive, i believe zayn is strong-willed and values his freedom more than anything!

associating zayn with street art was a given. is there anything more liberating than leaving your trace into the world, anonymously and illegally, without knowing if your work will be painted over in the next few days or a couple of years?

artists such as roa, bansky, kobra, invader or shepard fairey have now made a huge impact, and street art has been popularized. many paintings are known worldwide but before then, you had the travel the world to seek out the artists’ works!

and even if some murals can be seen from afar, they draw you in no matter what. like an invisible pull, some are forcing you to cross the street or climb a few stairs to get closer — zayn draws you in! whether people are affected by his quiet personality, his looks or the sheer quality of his voice, you can’t help but want to learn more about him!

i chose behind the curtain by martin whatson for that very reason! at first cold and unreachable, zayn is full of qualities and life experiences deserving to be uncovered.

martin whatson is a stencil artist working in oslo. looking for beauty in decayed and abandoned urban spaces, he developed his style using grey tones as a basis and adding vibrant colours to bring a splash of life. i also love pull back and behind the wall ♡

+ niall —

to me, niall is the type of person who’s enjoying life as best as he can, and fully appreciating everything there is to offer. whether it be passion, irritation, love, fun or distress. mainly because of his cheerful and bubbly personality, he’s seemingly going through life as if it was a big fest! but don’t be fooled, he knows heartbreak too and there’s more to him!!

niall’s albums feel warm, nostalgic and intimate. we’re being let in into a part of him without any flourishes. a melody strummed on his guitar and here we are, transported into the past and reminiscing about an old lover. niall definitely is a romantic! listening to heartbreak weather, there is so much tenderness into his songs…

this painting is called manège de cochons by robert delaunay — it is part of a series devoted to modern urban life and popular shows. carried away by a whirlwind of vibrant colors, it recreates the lively atmosphere of the fairgrounds.

it definitely represents niall and his complex mind. the colors, so vibrant, are an ode to his cheerfulness. for delaunay, primary colors and their complements exalt each other by contrast. and the same tone can be perceived differently depending on its intensity or its arrangement!

at first, only the vibrancy and the warmth shine through but just like everyone else’s, niall’s mind is intricate. his emotions are raw and he puts his pain into songs, as if to compartmentalize everything. as if to tame those feelings and memories, maybe too loud at times! the colors aren’t just splash of nuances scattered across the canvas, they are deliberate. with purpose, they tell a story…

+ liam —

liam is good! and he always goes out of his way to do something good. he often tries to be more mindful of his actions. he’s constantly learning and just like everyone else liam makes mistakes, but he actively grows from them!!

liam is extremely talented, funny and charismatic, yet i feel like he’s not easily understood. he’s a very sensitive, sincere and sweet person, and despite everything liam went through, he remains cheerful, generous and courageous!

he is also passionate and pursues many hobbies — be it fashion, art, cooking or comics: he is well-versed in many topics and it’s a real pleasure to now follow him on youtube!!

robert rauschenberg was passionate about many mediums himself, and he incorporated newspapers, photographs and even some objects (undershirt, parasol parts) onto the canvas before adding broad strokes of paint! he kept exploring the boundaries of art and closely followed the current events of the time, using images of space flight and NASA’s photographs into his work — space (tribute 21) is a personal favorite ♡

i actually picked a selection of artworks to match liam’s personality: 1. untitled (red painting) - 2. untitled (red painting) - 3. red interior. i particularly love that last one, as the far-right stripe reminds me of liam’s chevron tattoo!!

for many years now, liam has been associated with red and it’s no surprise at all — red is the color of passionate love, seduction and adventure. strength, vitality and ambition. it used to be seen as the color of fire, a primal life force. to the greeks, red symbolized super-human heroism. liam is a force of nature, strong both physically and mentally. he is hard-working and energetic!

+ harry —

forget about the way harry has been portrayed ever since he was a sixteen-year-old boy. forget about the curls and the dimples. simply observe the person harry is today. take a closer look at what he decides to share with us. pay attention to the way he’s presenting himself.

fine line (the album) takes us on an introspective journey into his deepest emotions — whether it be torment or happiness. and i think it’s fascinating how well-executed his songs are! even in a catchy and happy song such as golden, harry managed to address quite a raw and painful concept: i’m hopeless, broken, so you wait for me in the sky / i don’t want to be alone — it’s heartbreaking, yet you almost wished you could feel it too!

through various allegories and metaphors, harry makes you question yourself. he interrogates you and talks about a reality you didn’t know existed or could relate to. harry is magnetic.

this painting is called composition XI by vassily kandinsky — and i can’t help but compare both harry and vassily. kandinsky was a painter, professor, poet and art theorist, generally credited as the pioneer of abstract art! he spent years creating sensorially rich paintings, and was fascinated by musicians who could evoke images in listeners’ minds. he strove to work with forms and colors that alluded to sounds and emotions!!

in songs like fine line, the music swells and deflates as if it was a beating heart. each track conveys a different emotion and translates a distinct concept! through his melodies, harry aims to make us feel joy, melancholy, determination or bitterness, even when the lyrics are anything but. his albums leave us speechless and wondering, just like abstract art!

+ overall, this is what art is meant to make you feel! it’s supposed to challenge you. art is meant to make you rethink your boundaries and open up your mind. it’s meant to question you and leave you wanting for more! you are meant to listen to a song several times to fully understand its meaning, and meant to stand in front of a painting for hours to start grasping the artist’s thought process…

yet art remains subjective! depending on your own life experiences and upbringing. art is free for you to interpret as you wish and so is music! i hope you enjoyed this post, thank you for reading it ♡

The Start Of Something Good. - Sam x Cliff (with Rick making an appearance!)

THIS post got the notes I asked for so...

@yesbelladoesstuff @robert-de-niro-only-fans - the two who are MOST to blame for this... mess 😔

A/N: Sam meets Cliff and Rick for the first time on the set of Bounty Law in 1958 (year may be changed!). Cliff is fond of her, but Rick isn't so sure about this seemingly non-caring woman.

TW: Just some bros before they become bros. Also, not checked through much so excuse any errors!

Sam had been in disbelief when the call came from her agent; excitedly he had rambled about this proposition and, once she was able to calm him down, that she'd be solidified further into the American home by appearing on Bounty Law. The best part? She was still playing Joan Yates, this empowering, entertaining character.

Truth be told, even as she clambered out of her sparkling '57 Chevy, she still couldn't believe that it was legitimate. Even as she was greeted by the director and his team of runners, she still couldn't believe it was legitimate. Even as she was led to wardrobe and given her outfit, then led to her trailer to change, she couldn't believe it was legitimate.

Her corset was a little tighter than she was used to, but Sam didn't mind. She gazed at herself in the mirror, a sense of insecurity flowing through her veins, before a knock sounded on her door.

With a deep inhale, she graced the outside world.

"You're looking gorgeous already, Sam," He beamed brightly, admiring her for a moment. "When you finish up in makeup, please do me a favour and seek out Rick. Your co-star. I'm sure you already know. He's been dying to meet you."

"He has?" She blinked before nodding, "I will do, alright? Thank you."

Makeup was the same usual bore. It seemed that it never became more or less exciting, even with this new and very profitable situation at hand. Ever polite, she thanked the makeup artist and exited the trailer.

Perusing through the western town set, Sam made mental notes about the saloon, the hotel, the brothel, and the theatre (key locations that'd make getting around easier). All the while, her eyes scanned for Rick Dalton, finally landing on the man by the general store.

Sam came to a stop at the end of the dirt road, digging into her pocket for her pack of Red Apples. She placed one between her lips, igniting the tip and drawing a deep drag before her steps resumed, this time with much more certainty.

As she neared, she saw that Rick was talking to someone. The man was taller, in wardrobe identical to Rick's, and was easily identified as the stunt double. A stunt double? That put her at ease somewhat, ever comfortable around other stuntmen.

"I think Joan's here," The stuntman said quietly to Rick, whom promptly turned and offered a smile in greeting.

"Samantha Callahan, right?" He extended a hand her way.

"Sam is perfectly fine. Rick Dalton, I assume? It's a pleasure, really," She accepted his hand, and Rick gave it a gentle shake. Once he let go, she looked to his friend, "And who's this charming guy?"

"Cliff Booth," Cliff introduced, smile warm on his lips as his blue eyes took her in in her entirety. He extended his hand as well, taking her firm grasp as a sign that he didn't intimidate her.

Considering that Cliff was aware of his intimidation factor, this assurance made his smile grow a little more into a smirk. That would make Rick's life much, much easier.

"I'm Rick's stunt double."

"I thought so," Sam replied, retracting her hand from his, "Congratulations on landing such a fine job."

"I should be saying the same to you," Cliff mused, silently relishing in her soft chuckle and flushed cheeks.

"On that topic, actually," Sam diverted the conversation, looking to Rick once more, "I want to thank you for giving me this opportunity. I appreciate it a lot."

"Don't mention it! When they suggested you, Cliff and I could hardly believe it," The actor explained, Cliff nodding in agreement from behind him.

"You're just saying that. I'm nothing compared to Bounty Law."

"That's not true," Cliff disagreed, leaning down ever so slightly before he continued, "Western Lies is a hidden masterpiece. At least, that's what I think."

"You're a sweetheart, Cliff, thank you."

Did Cliff's stomach lightly flip at her words? Most definitely. He swallowed it down with a smile, "You're welcome."

"I'm sure you'll do great," Rick stated, if only to carry the conversation beyond that point. "I'm happy to have you with us. Let's go for a single take, huh?"

They shared a laugh at that, as if the motion of a single try making it in was impossible.

"I'll definitely try not to-"

"-there you are Sam!" A voice interrupted them, and a man in a black button up approached. It was the stunt coordinator, and someone who offered Cliff a grin, "Hey there, Cliff."

"Hi, Mason."

"Sam, I was told about what you wanted, and I've found a way for you to do one. It's a simple falling from a horse, and we can save it for the end of shooting. That's if you still want to go, of course."

"Wait, sorry, uh, what's happening?" Rick inquired, much to the surprise of Mason.

"Sam is doing a stunt. Did you not tell them?" When he was met with no reply, he settled his gaze onto Rick, "She's a registered stunt double, Rick. You're co-stars with not only a gorgeous actress, but a talented stunt double."

"Really?" Cliff asked with a voice full of amusement and concealed excitement. He looked to her, setting a much more curious stare upon her now. He once more looked her up and down, as subtle (or not so subtle) as he dared to go.

"It'll be at the end, so if injury occurs, it won't be too much of an issue," Mason assured, placing a hand upon Sam's shoulder, "Can we talk about it for a few minutes?"

Sam tensed as his hand connected, a look being sent to his hand before she nodded, stepping away in order to not be touched anymore, "I'll see you on set, Rick. And you too, Cliff."

"Yeah," Rick nodded, watching as the two walked. Once they were far enough away, he looked to his friend, "Wow, right?"

"She's even more beautiful in person," Cliff observed, referencing mainly her line of pinups both himself and Rick had accumulated.

"Come on now, Cliff. She's not sensible at all."

"I think you're just jealous," The stuntman watched as Rick rolled his eyes, the young star anything but confident. "Are we done remembering lines and ready to eat before it's too late?"

"Yeah. Yeah, we are," Rick nodded, turning and walking shoulder to shoulder with Cliff down the dirt road.

Painted Faces

Request: Hey, can i request a headcanon (or one shot if you like) for Joker and reader painting each other's faces, because reader wants to be a clown too, so she starts daub her face with Joker's greasepaint and he finds her doing it, and he helps her? That would be cute I think. :)

A/N: @ohallthecrushes I got so into this that I finished quicker than I thought! I also got a little too into it and forgot that you wanted reader to paint Jokers face as well :( I hope you like it nonetheless! It’s kinda more sexy than cute but I’m pretty happy with how it came out. I hope you are too 🤎 oh and also.. I write on my phone and can’t figure out how to add breaks in my posts so I’m so sorry if this blows up your feed for anyone..

You sat with your legs bent in front of you outside the apartment window on a small roof overhang that overlooked the rundown streets of Gotham. It was windy so your (y/h/c) hair flew a tad viciously In and around your face.

You liked to sit here and smoke your cigarettes waiting for Joker to come home. You would people-watch at the chaos that persisted every day down below you. It kept you at ease at this point.

You and Joker were called the king and queen of Gotham. Although you didn’t enjoy the publicity as much as he did.

So you sat from afar most days. Looking down at the beautiful mess your clown had created for the both of you.

Your eyes flicked around casually looking for any hints of reds and greens. You never knew when Joker would return. It was different day by day. He became a busy man after throwing over the city. The whole world as far as you could tell had heard about the Infamous Joker. It created a mass over throw of government everywhere. People wanted him dead. Lots of people. So most days he was out without no telling when he would be back. Lots of times you went with him. But he encouraged you this morning to stay home this time. It wasn’t safe.

You sighed anxiously. Giving up on your routined lookouts, you stood up and made your way back into the flat, careful not to trip over your black red and blue checkered skirt while stepping back through the window.

You left the window open to be able to still feel the nipping breeze as you paced around the flat. You were so tempestuously bored. You counted your paces, holding your hands tightly behind the small of your back. Your eyes flickered to any possible thing that could save you from the dullness this day has given you. Little huffs of disapproval left your lips each time you flicked your eyes to each corner of the room.

Giving up fast, you walked into Joker and yours bedroom. You looked around desperately until your eyes laid on Joker’s cassette player that laid scrambled on the round wooden table in the left corner of the room. Piles of cassettes toppled over each other, there was so many that some must have trickled onto the carpet.

Waisting as many seconds as possible, you walked over and began to pick them from the ground, shuffling each between your hands to read each one before placing them back on the table neatly. You moved your thumb away to read one that caught your attention.

“Son of a Preacher Man - Dusty Springfield”

You placed the rest of the cassettes that was tucked between each finger down on the table before putting that one cassette into the hatch, Flicking on the play button.

You closed your eyes and listened for a moment before turning your back to the table in approval. You began to sway into your steps gracefully around the bedroom barefoot. You took your left hand and lazily dragged it across the neatly made quilt that laid on the bed following to the end of the bed frame . Slipping your delicate fingers up to the top of the wooden bedpost. You let go to the batter of the music and swayed again to the other side of the room. Your right hand now fell to Joker’s vanity. You traced your fingers along everything that laid on the table. You traced over the words in his journal that was left opened, then quickly switched over to the photos that stuck to the sides of the mirror. Most of the photos were of you. Joker loved to take random pictures of moments he didn’t want to forget. A collection of them were mainly you posing naked. He always had a way of making them more tasteful than inappropriate; resplendently eye catching. It had become a hobby only shared between each other.

So entranced by your own thoughts, you failed to notice that Joker was home

And he was watching you.

The music was just loud enough to not hear him sneak in. He heard the music playing remotely in the other room as he silently stalked over with a smirk written on his face. He danced into each step gracefully. Soundlessly bringing himself to the door frame that connected to the bedroom you were in.

He placed both hands above his head resting on each side of the frame as he absorbed your every move.

You let your finger slowly fall down the length of the mirror followed by your gaze until your eyes landed on the basket of greasepaints and lipsticks. Excitement swelled throughout yourself as a sudden thought crossed your mind. You instinctively sat down in his seat and pushed yourself in. Placing both your hands on the vanity pondering what you should touch first.

Jokers lips parted slightly into an amused sneer, bringing his tongue up the front of his teeth in a gratified manner.

You began to swift through the paints looking for white, all the while singing along to the music that resounded the whole flat. Finally finding the white greasepaint, you let out a small squeal of pure excitement. How have you not thought of doing this before?

You flipped your hair behind your shoulders with a giant smile that stretched ear to ear. You dipped the paintbrush in generously and brought it up to your pale skin.

“Need some help darling?”

The little tinging sounds of the paintbrush falling to the vanity elucidated your shock. You whipped around to the familiar amused grin written all over Joker.

The end of song faded until silence fully filled the bedroom. He was clearly determined to see your cheeks turn a rosy shade of red. And clearly it didn’t take much. Your cheeks beamed and your wide (y/e/c) eyes looked up at him bashfully. Your jawline held a small streak of white.

“I um.. I wanted to.. I-I’ve been so bored today being alone all day. I just wanted to see what Id look like as a clown too..”

You lowered your head shamefully. You weren’t quite sure why you were so embarrassed. You felt caught in the act of something you haven’t done before.

Joker let out a series of chuckles before making his way over to you. His slender finger lifted your chin until you looked up into his admiring eyes, a pout written evidently on your face.

“I want to see too” he nodded his head slightly as he spoke, his grin widening.

Your pout quickly turned into a wicked grin that matched his own. You closed your eyes and hummed into his hand that now cupped your face.

He leaned in, tickling your face with his hair as he did so. His cheek rested on your eye as he kissed your temple before doing the same to other side, then finished with a passionate kiss to your lips.

He pulled away now. And without any permission, placed his hands underneath the wooden dining chair, turning it away from the vanity and toward the side to face him. You complied silently, anticipation filling your stomach deliciously. You watched his every move.

There was another chair that was next to the vanity that held many VHS tapes. He picked them all up in one swoop, tossing them onto the bed. He then brought the chair to face yours, creaking the floor as he did so. He took a seat, spreading his legs as he leaned forward past you to pick up the paintbrush up off the vanity. Your nostrils filled with his heavenly scent that you could never get enough of.

“Lean towards me doll”

“Okay”

You leaned forward and closed your eyes. His right hand rested on your thigh just beneath your skirt. It was cold and sent shivers up your spine. You visibly shook and let your lips part slightly.

Joker watched you intently. He was already so In tuned with the reactions he gave you. Most of the things he did was all on purpose anyway just to see your captivating reactions. And oh did it please him.. watching you being a dismantled mess under his touch.

With one last kiss on your still parted lips, he dipped the paintbrush into the white paint and brought it your flushed cheeks. You twitched, trying to quickly accustom yourself to the sudden coolness.

“How was your day Princess?”

“Boring. Oh so so boring” you aspirated dramatically. Letting out a childish giggle which Joker harmonized along with you.

“Shh. Keep your face still”

“How was your day?”

“Wonderful now” he cooed

You let out another warm hum while he finished turning your face into a bright flash of white. His hand still laid on your thigh for leverage while he continued with his masterpiece. He reached behind you again to clean the brush and came back with a new color dipped on the bristles.

You finally opened your eyes for the first time since he started. A flash of confusion crossed your eyes at the black paint that engulfed the brush. Joker was quick to read and respond to your expressions and mannerisms as he always did.

“I’m replacing the blue with black for the eyes. Everything else will stay the same. It will make your beautiful (y/e/c) eyes pop” his voice cracked as he gave you a charming smile

“whatever you say” he always put you in a trance when he talked to you like that.

He continued on with his mastery taking his time to make sure it was perfect. He licked the bottom of his lip, pausing occasionally to take in the mask that hid your sweet innocence. He’s never seen you like this before. And he wanted to see it more often. You both didn’t talk much as he finished. You and joker were so in sync with each other that you didn’t have to talk all the time. You both just knew. And you couldn’t explain it. But the feeling was so raw and rhythmic.

“All done my Queen” Queen?

You fluttered your eyes open to find Joker looking smugly back at you. Both hands now found your thighs as you turned your head to look in the mirror.

“Wow..”

“You like it?”

“I love it..”

Joker swiftly stood from his chair, placing it back against the wall. You watched as he shuffled over to his cassette player, digging through the tapes, letting them fall to floor.

You huffed with a roll of your eyes.

“I just picked those up!”

“Shh”

Finally finding the one he was looking for, he placed it in the hatch and turned it on, spinning around back to you.

His steps danced over to you in a flash, reaching out his hands for you. You intuitively placed your hands in his letting him bring your weight up to his chest, expecting him to lead you in a dance. Instead he turned you around by the hips to face the mirror, reaching around you to move the chair you were sitting in to the side. He stood behind you and moved his hands from your hips to the underneath of your arms, bringing them up until they were parallel to the ground. His face came in from the side and nuzzled in the crook of your neck as he spoke, letting his hot breath send shocks throughout your core.

“Your officially a queen now baby girl”

“I am?”

“Mhm, and I think we found your signature look”

You let your head rest against his as he dragged his hands back to your hips. He swayed you back and forth to the melody that boomed the whole apartment. His head still in the nook of your neck, leaving hot kisses. He spun you around again and took your hand in his, leaving his right on the small of your back. He led you softly and rthymically across the wooden floor. Swirling you around with his arms in the air with yours shortly before bringing you back up against his chest.

The music took over your body and beamed through every vein and vessel of your being. You kept your eyes locked as he twirled and spun until dipping you down low to the floor, letting your long (y/h/c) hair brush against the cold wood. He brought you up again and took you with him in wide circles. You closed your eyes and let your head fall back, welcoming the dizziness that swelled in your head. Joker took that opportunity to shower the front of your neck and chest with kisses, leaving marks of red and white greasepaint. You whimpered In approval. He brought you in slowly until your chests heaved against each other. You were both out of breath, feeling each other’s hot pants against your lips. He brought both hands around you and swayed you more lazily. He placed his forehead against yours as he rocked you more gently.

“Joker?”

“Yes kitten?”

“You’re such a good dancer..”

“I know”

When Tom glanced at (Y/N) the first time, he remained speechless by such beauty emanating from the divine creature in front of him. She’s the one, he thought. A beauté fatale that quickly became his.

After two years of shared life away from prying eyes and cameras, Tom decided it was finally the right time to share the news of them being together. He wanted to show you to the entire world the person that was making him happy, lighting up his days and supporting him regardless of the situation.

At first (Y/N) wasn’t really sure about this decision. Oppressive cameras had never been her thing and as being a simple Mrs. Average, she felt even less capable to handle all the hurtful and hate comments she may (for sure) receive from any mean people. She was so reserved, kind of an introvert actually, and this was hiding a huge fragility. Definitely her weakness. And nobody needed to know about that. So poor (Y/N) couldn’t dare to share her fears and doubts with her boyfriend, him that was shining of pure confidence. Instead, she preferred dropping simple “don’t worry about me” or “it’s your moment of glory, enjoy it” as bad excuses. She just couldn’t do it. But what encouraged Tom’s choice even more, that day, was a “you honestly don’t need me to shine” so full of despair that she wanted – and tried – to conceal as much as she could. She obviously failed at it.

“You can’t imagine how wrong you are, darling.”

At that instant, Tom promised himself to prove to his gorgeous (Y/N) how much she was mistaken from the start. And surely he was well determined to make up for the lost time.

Movies premieres, promotion tours, bunch of interviews on TV or lives on radio, making appearances at conventions and talk shows or whatever he forgot, Tom brought (Y/N) everywhere with him. She was like his shadow. Even when her gorgeous face was not showing on camera, she was backstage but still visible to Tom, always by his side. And when anyone (finally) asked her boyfriend questions about them being together, oh man, no one could stop the British boy. If he could write a never-ending poem about you, this impulsive boy would because he loved you 3000.

“What can I say, we’re basically perfect together” was his favorite conclusion for each speech about you. That embarrassed you at an infinite level but at the same time, you felt your heart shiver with a delicious and warm feeling called love.

Red carpets were the most complicated for (Y/N), only because it was impossible to hide or flee. Avoiding this step was an impossible mission. All eyes were aimed on her and Tom, both their names screamed from anywhere by crazy paparazzi, greedy to get the best shot. But Tom was oh so proud to show you off next to him. Finally. He could now reveals to all possible existing universes the goddess that was sharing his life and making everything around him even more perfect since day one.

Tom was feeling more handsome and more powerful with his loved (Y/N). His natural charisma was impossible to feel indifferent about and that brat knew it well but when she was there, Tom wanted no more but to everyone to look at her. And only her.

See this perfection next to me? Yeah? She’s mine by the way, he thought so hard that a smirk made its way to his face. And who could say the opposite? (Y/N) was so a natural she didn’t realise it, and that was what made Tom so crazy about her (sexual way included).

(Y/N), an angel face with a luscious body, almost cutely provocative, the whole brighten up with an innocent smile that could awake every men primal instinct. But Tom didn’t let this pass. Back off, bastards. In fact, he could easily ease those disgusting animals in heat by demonstrating whom she belonged to. His hands didn’t leave her anymore. He had to touch her, he needed to press his body with hers. This body is mine. But he was right that, together, you were fucking gorgeous to death.

This was all beyond understanding for (Y/N). At least in the beginning because after, it was almost a routine and she started to like it too.

Tom made her feel beautiful. She felt so powerful, a feeling she never had before. Invincible was the word. In the end, (Y/N) got used to it since she didn’t refuse next Tom’s offers. They became more than lovebirds: they were like two masterpieces that, once reunited, completed each other by an almost inhuman finesse.

My thoughts on: The Last of Us Part II SPOILER WARNING!

I just wanna start off by saying that in my opinion, The Last of Us II is an absolute masterpiece of a game. It's incredibly well made and just amazing in so many ways. But even tho I love so many things about this game, there sure are some things I’m not happy about. I never did something like this before for anything but with this game I just felt like sharing my thoughts on it.

Info: English is not my first language!

Mainly:

I first watched the first game on YouTube and I absolutely loved it. I went on to play it myself on the PS3 and of course again a few times later on the PS4. It became one of my favourite games and the story was just amazing. And seeing Ellie and Joel getting closer through all of it was absolutely adorable and I loved it. I was excited for Part II since the first reveal. And I was hella disappointed and kinda pissed when the release date was changed so many times. But still I was getting more and more excited the closer we got to the final release date of Part II.

Looking though Twitter and other websites and seeing all of the thoughts about this game, I also saw people saying how they didn’t portray the LGBT+ community right. Now I honestly don’t want to say if they did or not because I pretty much can’t. I absolutely support each and everyone in that community so I don’t want to speak for them, because only they know how they would’ve wanted it to be portrayed and how it would’ve been done right.

The Story:

Seeing everyone living happily in a city was a great start. Sure they still have some problems and also take care of the infected outside. But still it seems so peaceful and I’m glad Ellie and Joel got to settle down there.

I’ve been wondering what will make Ellie so deeply upset going after some people and wanting to kill them ever since I saw the reveal trailer. The closer we got and even before the leaks online, I always had the thought that it will include Joel’s death. Even tho I always thought that, I still wasn’t prepared. And I absolutely wasn’t prepared that it would happen so fast and so quick. It still hurts when I think about it and it’s just unbelievable losing one of the main characters whose story you went through for hours had to die in such a horrible way.

It was absolutely understandable that Ellie wanted to get revenge for it. Even tho she didn’t know the reason why Joel was killed. Joel was everything for both her and of course Tommy. I’m glad she had Dina with her who helped and supported her through a part of it. I also love that Jesse went after them - probably mostly for Dina - but he was risking a lot as well to help through it all.

Seeing other surviving groups besides those in the first game was really interesting. Especially because they all are so different. It was giving a different look on how people change and survive during this apocalypse. And it was definitely something different and more intense than the Fireflies.

Seeing Abby’s story wasn’t my favourite part of playing but of course it belongs to the whole story and was really important to understand everything that has happened.

I was curious to see what changed about the infected and they did it amazingly in this game! They did a really good job on the stalkers even tho I had a hard time on managing them. But the ‘merging’ of the first infected in the hospital was … interesting? It was sure hard to battle. The shamblers also gave me a hard time but were a cool new infected to fight against!

After so many fights and disappointments I was glad to see Dina and Ellie happy with the baby. I’m sure Jesse would’ve been a great dad and they all would’ve gotten along. They all would’ve been so great.

I understand that it hurt and disappointed Dina when Ellie decided to go search for Abby again. They were living peacefully now and they definitely deserved it. Which is why I was kinda angry at what Tommy said when visiting them. But sure he wanted revenge. And he himself couldn’t do it anymore.

Even though through all of the game it seemed like Ellie was gonna get back at her for what she did, I wasn’t surprised when she let Abby escape at the end. We may not fully understand what made her do it and why she didn’t finish it, but I’m sure she had a reason. I’m kinda disappointed that she didn’t kill Abby because after everything she went through to find her, she didn’t give her what she deserved - or did she?

Also the fact they never got to talk about everything again really hurts me. They said "See you." and they actually didn't until he died the next day. It really broke me. I just would’ve loved to know that they were on good terms before his life ended. But I’m sure that Joel knows how much Ellie loves him.

After all I absolutely loved the story still. Even after the loss of Joel. It was a well done game and an amazing story.

The Characters:

Ellie: Ellie has been my favourite since the second we met her. When she was young she was already funny and such a great person and I loved her relationship with Joel and the way it grew to be a family. She has lost so many people already and I absolutely understand the way she felt when she lost Joel like that right in front of her. Not being able to do anything. I understand her anger and was supporting her to get her revenge during the game. Even tho in the end she didn’t finish it.

Dina: She went with Ellie and was by her side. She made Ellie really happy and I loved seeing them together. I hope if we get something like a DLC or something that we might see her get back with Ellie or something. They are a cute little family and they deserve happiness.

Abby: I for my part hated her since the second she killed Joel. Just the way it happened … She didn’t give him a chance at all. I do understand her part of the story and that she’s hurting. But what she did to joel just angers me and I hate her so much for it.

Jesse: I actually started to really like him. He seemed to be a great guy and he even went after the girls and helped them. Since I started to like him I was really sad when Abby just killed him. I’m sure he would’ve been such an amazing dad and supportive character.

Joel: I loved him since the first game. He had such a great character development. He would’ve done anything for Ellie to protect her. Even until his last breath. I’m still heartbroken that we lost him in such a way. But I’m trying to see a good side as well - he’s with Sarah and Tess now. And Sam and Henry. Absolutely amazing character. You’ll be missed.

Tommy: Really love him as well. He even went after Abby to protect Ellie and that she doesn’t have to. Would’ve actually loved to play him a bit in the game since we were always pretty much right behind him. Also got hella scared and was gonna fight people because I thought he got killed. But luckily he survived.

Maria: I love that she supported Ellie on going after Abby and her people. Even tho it probably mainly was for her to bring back Tommy. Maria is a great person and I already loved her since we met her in the first game. She’s an absolute badass.

Gameplay:

Even tho I only played on a normal PS4 and not on a Pro, the experience while playing was amazing. The graphics and details are just so well done and absolutely incredible!

For my part I was mostly annoyed while playing Abby. Sure her story was a big part of the game and it’s story but since she’s a character I absolutely hate I was just happy when I was finally done playing as her. And it felt like you played her way more than Ellie which also is something that really wasn’t my favourite thing about playing the game.

It is a big open world game which of course is why I definitely didn’t collect everything. I spent lots of time looking around everywhere I could but I’m still missing some safes, papers, coins and other things. Luckily I got all weapons and upgrade books tho which was most important to me.

I myself finished the game after a total of 22 hours. I started Friday and finished on Monday. It was a great experience and I wanted to take my time to look around and see as much as possible.

I love that the weapon menu was the same. It made things very easy especially since I replayed Part I before the release of Part II. The crafting and upgrading menu for both weapons and abilities was new and I complained a lot on how I had to spent the pills for stuff I didn’t want or need because I wanted some other things. But since you find a lot of them during the game I was able to upgrade most of it. I look forward to playing again on New Game+ so I can upgrade fully!

Overall I absolutely love this game and it’s incredible! It’s definitely worth watching or even playing yourself!

My Personal Ranking of Lady Gaga’s Discography

The time has come. The day has arrived. I am so excited to finally do this list!

Lady Gaga is one of the most influential, innovative, and incomparable artists of this generation. I think her to be one of the greatest musical artists to ever live. Her impact on pop culture as a whole cannot be ignored, and her talents as a singer/songwriter is limitless.

I remember first seeing her perform on So You Think You Can Dance with that iconic bleach-blonde, sharp-edged wig and those LED glasses with text on them and being absolutely mesmerized. Ever since that performance, I had been a casual fan, but absolute admirer of her music. Around 2016-2017 is when I decided to listen to pop music more regularly, and the first artist I knew I had to add to my library was Gaga. It was then that I listened to all her albums and officially became a Little Monster.

Each one of her albums is so incredibly unique, yet so undeniably Gaga at the same time. With the recent release of her sixth studio album Chromatica, I can now finally give my ranking of her incredible discography. I will only be covering her solo studio albums, so A Star Is Born and Cheek to Cheek will not be included.

A new thing I want to add to each album review is add a superlative that the album possesses to showcase its respective strength in the discography as a whole.

Reminder: this is my opinion. Everyone has a different ear, and certain sounds and songs resonate with different people. I’m just sharing my personal thoughts and experiences with these albums.

6. Joanne (2016)

This feels like pure blasphemy to put this album as the lowest ranking on the list when it is objectively one of Gaga’s strongest and more mature albums. It showcases her versatility as a songwriter to the nth degree, and she is the most vocally ferocious on this album.

It is incredibly top-heavy for my taste (the first seven songs are absolutely sublime to listen to). It’s unfortunate, but from “Sinner’s Prayer” to the end, the album becomes borderline unlistenable to me. Gaga’s vocal delivery on the last few songs seems over-dramatic and unauthentic, and also technically not up to par with what I know she can do.

I think the big concern about Joanne is the feigned nature that I think I’m listening to. Gaga has always been theatrical and performative with her music, but with Joanne, I don’t seem to buy it as well. It suits a more dance-pop and electronic feel that we know and love her for. Maybe that’s the gay sensibilities in me talking; that’s just how I feel.

She was far more successful with the A Star Is Born soundtrack in terms of writing for this genre. I applaud Gaga for going out on a limb with this massive genre shift, and it worked well, for the most part.

5. Artpop (2013)

I have very conflicted feelings about this album. At its best, it is exploratory, imaginative, and audacious. At its worst, it’s ostentatious, inaccessible, and clumsy.

It undoubtedly has some of Gaga’s sickest and coolest production to date; she really amped up the electronic feel for this album. She also experimented with several contemporary genres (hip hop, R&B, dubstep, trap, rock, etc.) quite skillfully on various tracks like “MANiCURE”, “Do What U Want”, and “Swine”. However, the production does go overboard sometimes, creating a heavy and clunky sound (”Swine” often becomes very harsh to listen to).

Lyrically, I find that it can be very distant, boastful, and vain. Certain songs like “Donatella” and “Fashion” are very specific to Gaga’s lifestyle and obvious love for high fashion, but it is not relatable to the common listener (or at least not me). The extravagant nature of the songs, and even the album as a whole, is hard to really dive into.

I still love this album a lot, but more like as a guilty pleasure. I see many people regard it to be her underrated masterpiece, and I understand where they are coming from, but find them to be misguided. It’s a strong piece of work, but Gaga just shot for the stars and went a little too far for her own good.

4. The Fame (2008)

It truly pains me to put this album so low because it’s the record that introduced us to the brilliance of her work and it features some of my absolute favorite Gaga tracks on it (”Poker Face” still hits hard even today). I cannot let the nostalgic nature of the album cloud my judgment, though. This only goes to show how incredibly strong her discography is; we are really splitting hairs at this point.

What Gaga did for the music industry back in 2008 is insurmountable and outrageous. She brought back the four-to-the-floor sound to the radio in a campy and edgy way that we had never heard before. She will most likely be the biggest juggernaut of an artist I will ever see in my lifetime; she will define my era of music as a child. This is the era I mainly associate with the iconic nature of Lady Gaga.

It’s comparatively tame to her other work since she was still testing the waters and figuring herself out as an artist. But by 2008′s standards, terms like “disco stick” and “bluffin with my muffin” were totally out-there and controversial. Songs like “Paparazzi”, “LoveGame” and “Poker Face” pushed the envelope and influenced many artists for years to come.

Besides the lead singles, many of the songs on the album are not too remarkable and probably the closest thing you can classify as “filler tracks”. They’re inconsequential, generic, and uneventful compared to the powerhouse singles.

While these songs also deal with fame and the opulent lifestyle like the ones I mentioned for ARTPOP, they were written from the perspective of someone who was not yet famous. The whole idea of the album is playing with the universal dream and fantasy of what fame is like. In turn, that make the album so much more relatable, universal, and engaging.

This is one of the greatest debut albums ever produced, and it paved the way for Gaga’s career and artistry. I’m happy to say that it basically gets close to pop perfection from here on out.

3. Chromatica (2020)

This is the first album of her work that I was eagerly waiting for as a proper Little Monster. I was absolutely ecstatic when the first information about the album was coming out, including the singles. It was the album that I had been waiting for for a long time... and it absolutely delivered. It was everything I needed it to be and more.

Vocally, it is Gaga’s most impressive work to date. Her voice has matured so beautifully over the past 12 years, and she has learned to use her upper register in the D5-F5 range more healthily, powerfully, and consistently than before. There were several moments throughout the album that I was gobsmacked at the force of her voice.

I will admit it is the most “tame” of all her works in terms of the outlandish and campy nature with which we know her for (just ahead of The Fame). Instead, she writes with more sophistication, finesse, and honesty that has come with more experience. On first listen, it seems rudimentary, but as time goes on, the inner complexities of the album start to reveal themselves.

For being a straight-up dance album through and through, it is brutally honest and personal. There is real pain and heartache that is displayed through much of the album, and Gaga is using music as a means of catharsis to release the pain. It makes the album incredibly relatable and accessible, allowing the listeners to dance through the pain. Released in a time when the whole world was faced with such uncertainty and worry, this album is definitely a great outlet for those looking for comfort.

Being as huge of a fan of artists like Kylie Minogue, Robyn, and Carly Rae Jepsen as I am, this album truly delivers on the dance/dance-pop department. The production is impeccably done and spearheaded by Bloodpop (who I hope is Gaga’s main collaborator from now on). Even the Chromatica interludes are stunningly gorgeous and inform how the next act of the album will go. In my opinion, Act I of the album (Tracks 1-6) is absolute pop perfection; I wouldn’t change a single thing about any of those tracks.

The album may run a little short, and it’s tamer compared to her earlier works, but it is still brilliant nonetheless. With a collaboration with the reigning Princess of Pop, Ariana Grande, you know it has to be amazing. This will absolutely go down as one of the best dance albums ever written. This is Gaga’s return to form, and we have been so blessed.

(Ok, but Chromatica II into 911 is THE serve. She did THAT. Do you know what she did? THAT.)

2. The Fame Monster (2009)

I’m gonna be perfectly honest here: it took the longest time for this album to grow on me. Even longer than ARTPOP. But with time, I was finally able to see just how sleek, crisp, and perfect of an album this really is.

This was Gaga’s expansion to The Fame that she wrote based on her experiences with touring, fame, and the toll that can take on someone. It is a concept album with each song being based on a personal fear of Gaga’s that I am sure were all amplified with the high intensity of being a pop star.

You can immediately tell the difference between this album and its predecessor. It’s darker, it’s sexier, and it’s candid. Where The Fame was written from a place of imagination and wonder, this was written from a place of truth and fear. The amount of growth that came from just a year on the road is staggering.

It is undeniably her most polished album in terms of production and composition. It took the ambition of sonic perfection that The Fame was going for, and amped it up even more. Each song has its own feel to it, but they all work together so well as an album.

There is one song that makes this album imperfect and keeps it from my number one spot, and the song will make tons of Little Monsters angry: “Speechless”. I just don’t like it, no matter how many times I’ve tried to get into it. It’s written in C major (my least favorite key), it’s overly sentimental and hokey, and it disrupts the flow of pop that keeps the album together. I know it’s an incredibly personal song for her, but it is just mediocre to me; I skip it everytime.

Other than that, I think the album is absolute perfection. “Bad Romance” is one of the most iconic and influential songs in her songbook and even the Great American Songbook, and the non-singles are just as powerful, if not better. This album is the standard to which Gaga is held, and any album in the future will struggle to hold its own against this amazing work. Except one. ;)

1. Born This Way (2011)

Is there really any other option?

It’s the album that debuted at #1 on the Billboard charts. It’s the album with 5 of her most iconic and successful singles (the title song, “Judas”, “The Edge of Glory”, “You And I”, and “Marry The Night”). It’s the album that was unabashedly open about its advocacy, and gave voice to anyone who ever felt cheated by life or counted out. Of course it has to be in the number one spot.

This is Gaga at her freest, her most courageous, her most daring. She went all out in this record, and the results are absolutely remarkable. I am a massive fan of the 80′s in all aspects (especially the music), so the influence of 80′s rock and pop on the album satisfy my sensibilities swimmingly. The ingenuity and artistry which she demonstrates in the composition of this album is just mind-blowing.

“The Edge of Glory” is her best song. Hands down. No question. Bottom line, cut, and dry. The first time I heard it back in 2011 was so impactful to me. I learned just what an impressive singer Gaga is, and how powerful of a songwriter she is. It is one of the most euphoric, devil-may-care, and joyous songs ever written, and one of the most important songs in my life. The fact that it perfectly closes out the thrilling roller-coaster ride of Born This Way is the cherry on top.

It might be a little messier and imprecise than The Fame Monster, but it’s lows never get as low, and its highs are astronomically high. The arc that this album takes me through is astonishing. It is an album about celebrating life, loving others and yourself, and throwing caution to the wind. Who can’t relate to that and find comfort in it?

I could go on for ages about this album, but I’ll keep it simple. This is Gaga’s magnum opus, and one of the best pop records ever created. I am so unbelievably grateful for what it has done for my life, and it will forever be one of my favorite albums ever written. It taught me that I am unequivocally born this way, and that I should strive to be on the edge of glory.

hell ye >:3c so i’m a female scorpio, sexually-speaking i consider myself demisexual with a heavy preference for men (despite the anxiety i get from being around them). my hobbies include reading, a lot of creative mediums (writing, drawing, sculpting, cosplaying, moreso in the realm of making characters and worlds and whatnot, i also have an original canon that i’ve been working on for 9-10 years now), biking, psychology, video games (mainly visual novels and rpgs), world mythology, music, and playing trombone! personality-wise i’m a bit complicated due to trauma (i’m working on it tho) but i’m very much an ambivert! so sometimes i may be outgoing and talkative, other times i only want to have deep conversations with lots of personal substance and then go to sleep right after. i’ve been told that i’m somebody who’s pretty aware of themselves or at the very least understanding of my own inner machinations, the awareness of which i’ve spent a lot of time cultivating to help manage my adhd and anxiety/depression. other words people have used to describe me are artistic, eccentric, vivacious, mischievous/playful, empathetic, wild, stubborn, sensitive, aggressive/dominant, impatient, fiery, i think you get the gist. i also have a little shih tzu puppy named xander (as in alexander the great bc we’re greek) who i love very very much.

Fates: Hmm Fates was honestly the game I was having the hardest time choosing someone from… but I honestly think Kaze is the best match for you!

As far as men go, Kaze is far more comforting to be around than anyone else. I can’t say for certain if that will be the case for you… but know he would do whatever you needed to feel comfortable around him! He’s all about seeing you happy, healthy, and safe (he’ll often put your feelings above his (make sure to check in on him from time to time; he’ll really appreciate it). He’s also probably one of the most supportive partner of your creative arts that you can find; he’s the type to take your drawings and show them off to others or sit down with you and let you explain, as in depth or not as you please, about your world; it fascinates him endlessly how full of creativity you are! He’s amazed every time he learns something new about you and is always excited to take the time to learn more.

As for Trauma, Kaze understands; he has a lot of his own baggage he needs to face it and as he sees it, these things are better done together. So don’t worry about sharing your burdens with him, Kaze will gladly help you shoulder your emotional burdens, so long as you’ll let him do the same. While he’s an introvert himself, Kaze is perfectly willing to deal with you as you come. He’s fond of how playful you are (plenty of people have told him to loosen up and well… you make it easy).

Kaze met you while trying to escape the girls that tend to fawn over him when he goes into towns. How it happened, neither of you were sure but you quite literally bumped into one another and tripped! Lucky for you, Kaze caught you! Of course, Kaze immediately felt bad and wanted to make it up to you and it just went on from there!

Awakening: Inigo was actually the first person I thought of when I read your description, the trouble was deciding to use him for fates/awakening hehe

Anyways, it’s easy to picture how to two of you met; Inigo can’t help himself when he sees a cute girl but seeing how you freeze up and stutter in reply Inigo is like, whoa, hey, are you good? And in return finds himself shying up and getting awkward too. Just like you get anxious around men, he gets shy around girls; once the two of you learn how to function around one another he’s happy to give you advice on how he deals with his anxiety.

Inigo is endlessly supportive in your creative endeavors! He may be a talented dancer but in his eyes that hardly holds a candle to the worlds you can create with your wondrous words, or the art you can make seemingly out of nothing. It’s amazing to him and he’s more than happy to indulge you in it; make sure to compliment him as well, not only so you can see that adorable blush of his but also so he knows you support him as much as he does you!

Honestly, Inigo loves how playful and mischievous you can be; it reminds him to to be so embarrassed and shy when he’s with you, or even without you. Your smile, how you get so fired up yet are still so kind and empathetic… Everything about you and your personality help calms him down and face whatever it is he’s facing. He can only hope the smile he’s always ready to give (special for you, nowadays) can help you in the same way.

3 Houses: If I’m honest, I’m still not completely sure on this (if only because it feels like my own bias is shining through) but I feel like Lorenz would be a good match for you! Just hear me out please!

Obviously this would be post time skip (as most of my dealings with 3h will be). But out of most of the cast in 3 houses I feel like after time skip Lorenz becomes one of the more understanding, respectful and patient men! If you’re scared or anxious around him he’s first going to try to figure out what he can do to lessen that and if that means he has to leave your company, so be it but he’ll leave with a “if you even need to talk about it, I’ll be willing to listen”.

He’s a huge supporter of the creative arts (though, unfortunately he’s not very creative himself, more blessed in leading, tactics and such things). Still, as every noble should have, he has a great appreciation of the arts! He finds it incredibly charming how you can just make a world and continue to work with it and change it as you grown and change yourself and is your biggest supporter when it comes to art! He’s more than ready to commission you to do work for him and display it where everyone can see, proudly explaining what it is, just who did and who you are to him.

He’s always to sit down with a piping cup of tea and spend the afternoon chatting away with you about whatever comes to mind. The inner workings of your mind, of the person he admires and adores so much who can be so controversial at times (fiery but shy, anxious but wild). Everything about you only adds up to make him love you more than he did the moment before!

Ike: I really honestly think you and Ike would end up being really good together! The two of you are actually quite similar in some aspects while your differences really balance one another out.

You’re a lot more on the creative side than Ike, it’s true. He may not be the best to talk to when it comes to your more creative endeavors since he’ll mostly remain quiet due to lack of knowledge but know what makes you happy makes him happy. He’ll gladly be your quiet company while you create worlds and masterpieces, so long as you humor him with his likes. Which, isn’t hard really; Ike just wants someone he can be himself with and let his worries out to.

He really admires how playful and free you seem. Ike’s always willing to grow closer with his allies but sometimes isn’t always sure how he. It’s not that he’s shy he just becomes awkward quickly in a situation he doesn’t know where to begin in. But with you, it’s always seemed easy. Once you’ve overcome your anxiety it’s always fun to talk with you because its always different.

You grew to be a trusted confident, right under his nose. It was different that with Soren, Mist, or even Titiana. When he’s with you, not only do his worries flow freely but he wants to hear yours in return and even try to soothe them. Its confusing, no doubt, because Ike has never really felt this way before. He has the weight of the world on him and yet he still wants to help shoulder your burdens as well. He’s thankful for you help both inside and outside of battle but his need to protect you is distracting. So of course, he’ll go to you with his worries, as always; in the end, it’s up to you to tell him that he’s in love with you. It’ll take him a moment but then it will all click in place for him.

“Oh,” He paused, blinking slowly as if taking the long moment to really process it all. “I… guess I am.” He smiled, softly at you now. “I love you.” He laughed as the words left his lips, gaze settling on your face. “So I guess now… the question is, do you feel the same way?

Hi!! Oh god here we go again, I’m so sorry for missing this!! This is a bit lengthy so ahhhh I’m sorry for getting carried away!!

1. How do they fall asleep? Wake up? Any daily rituals?

Sam tends to fall asleep while reading; Darcy is the one who usually pries it out of his hands and sets it on their bedside table, and then she rests herself on his chest to sleep. I know how this might seem so uncomfortable, but weirdly enough, he is quite comfortable when she sleeps on his chest, anything that lets him hold her close. And when either of them wakes up far apart, they always tend to scoot back to each other.

As for daily rituals, Darcy does this really thorough skincare routine every night that Sam enjoys watching. He finds this like some sort of sorcery. At some point, she drags Sam to do it with her, and he obliges out of curiosity. Turns out… it’s a whole lot of fun. (He’s even managed to do his own research that he learns which skincare products he can get for her, and for this Darcy is surprised and immensely grateful.)

3. Are they open about their relationship? How do they feel about public displays of affection?

I hope I’m understanding this question right because I’m going to take this as something that is not being in an open relationship, which is a very different thing, but rather how comfortable they are being together and with other people knowing that they’re actually a couple. So.

When they first started dating—and by first started dating, I mean when they first came across each other sixteen years ago in that fateful London gig—they weren’t really high key announcing that they were seeing each other, but their loved ones knew that something was going on. No one could believe they actually got together because they have been at each other’s throats from the very first time they met. Sully was the only one who sensed that these two idiots will fall in love with each other sooner or later, and goddamn he was right.

At any rate, Darcy’s family knew about Sam and already had the chance to meet and get to know him; besides, he took great interest in apprenticing for Darcy’s mother, Greta, who was a renowned archaeologist who had worked with his mother. (Sam did not know this at the time.) Nathan and Sully knew about them, too, and Nathan often teased how they fight like an old married couple. However, the two of them had little grasp as to how serious Sam really was about Darcy. When Sam decided to stay behind the UK after their gig in the meantime, they both thought it was solely because of the apprenticeship Greta had offered him to take under her tutelage. (Nate was offered a place, too, but he had other plans.) Little did they know that he really was staying for Darcy. (Nate would only come to find out about this part sixteen years later, when Sam revealed that he lived with Darcy for a year until Nathan called about a significant lead on Henry Avery, which then reunited them both to Panama. Though this is all a story best saved for a different time.)

Meanwhile, years later after they have reunited and Sam is working hard to win her back—and he does win her back—they started seeing each other in secret because they couldn’t quite know how Darcy’s kids would deal with this lmao

18. What are their dates like? How long do/did they date? Do they ever feel the need to take a break from each other?

Their dates are mostly going to galleries and museums, and dinners to their usual cafés or restaurants. On special occasions, Darcy likes taking Sam to art events and historical sites that are not open to the public (perks of her job and having an archaeologist for a mother), while Sam enjoys taking her to the beach or on a road trip to the countryside. But their most favourite really is their museum dates. It’s nothing fancy, but it’s where they get to trade stories and get to talk about their shared love for history and culture while poking fun of completely lewd paintings and statues. And they do take a break from each other’s company, too. Sam knows and is completely aware of how introverted Darcy is, so he respects her need for space from time to time.

38. What are they like in the bedroom? Any kinks/fetishes/turn-ons? Anything they won’t do?

They are a mess in the bedroom, and by mess, I mean they can go from soft and sensual to rough and fuck-your-brains-out kind of lovemaking in the next. It’s like flipping a switch: one minute Sam is all vanilla, but then Darcy says something explicitly dirty—which she rarely does, so this always takes him by surprise—like “you make me so dripping wet,” or “god, you are just so big inside me,” and he just fucking loses it. As for what gets them turned on, Sam just really likes it when he sees Darcy in her lingerie, or if she ever wears his shirt; meanwhile, the way to Darcy’s wetness is with words, so she really likes it when Sam talks dirty, a game in which he is far more superior. (He does it even when they’re in public, or while buying the groceries, or while casually taking a walk in the park that Darcy hates Sam for it because she cannot deal being so hot and bothered in broad daylight, for fuck’s sake.)

Also, they’re creative and adventurous in giving each other pleasure, too, and they’re always willing to explore how they can spice things up in bed. However, to some extent, Sam has reservations on BDSM because the last thing he’d want to do is to hurt Darcy in any way, regardless if it’s only roleplay. Absolutely no slapping, no choking, no reenacting of any form of physical violence whatsoever. (This is mainly because of what Darcy has been through in her past marriage, so yeah. You get the idea.) But… if she’s the one in control and the one to tie him up, well, that he won’t mind at all.

39. Who initiated the relationship? Who kissed who first? When did they realize they were in love?

Sam initiated the relationship because he is ballsy like that. It’s also him who kissed first, and it just happened when he was watching her staring at a Rembrandt painting like it’s the most beautiful thing in the world, her mouth open in wonder, and she looked so happy and more beautiful than the masterpiece in front of them and he thought, “God, I want so badly to kiss her right now,” and so he did. And she did not object. She had been wanting to kiss him, too. That was also the time he realized he was in love with her.

40. Any special memories? Do they have a special place they like to go to?

They have a lot, actually. But one of their very special places is on a beach in East Sussex where Sam took her on a date sixteen years ago and asked her to be his girl.
